Portland sat most of their starters early, and although Jabari Walker looked good in relief, Portland's bench showed the effects of the many injuries littered across their roster. Despite Portland's struggles, this game was expected to be a much closer contest, but usually-productive players like Shaedon Sharpe failed to produce.

His scoring numbers have increased with every performance, starting with a 13-point showing in the opener and increasing by a few points with each appearance.

Grant was held below 20 points in his first three appearances of the season but has now topped that mark in four consecutive outings and has averaged 24.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in 39.3 minutes per game during that time. He's shot 43.0 percent from the floor over his past four appearances, which is closer to his career average, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him maintain relatively high production moving forward.

The Blazers' roster is in transition, and Grant is adjusting to having Deandre Ayton in the frontcourt next to him while not having Damian Lillard deliver the ball to him any more.

Grant is clearly the missing link in an offense that struggled without a third scorer last season, and he'll be a key piece as the team jockeys for position on the playoff bubble.

Grant has earned a spot in lineups for most leagues thanks primarily to his scoring and three-point abilities, but he's also averaging 1.7 blocks-plus steals and contributes a bit across the board.

Though his usage rate has dropped two percentage points with the move from the Pistons in 2021-22 to the Trail Blazers this season, Grant's career-best 62.3 true shooting percentage has enabled him to reach greater heights in category leagues. On a per-game basis in eight-category leagues, Grant is the 51st-ranked fantasy performer.

Grant finished Tuesday's 109-106 loss to Orlando with 16 points (8-19 FG, 0-6 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist, three blocks and one steal across 41 minutes.

Grant put up solid defensive contributions in the loss, including a season-high three steals. While his scoring has been a constant thus far, his productivity on the defensive end has been somewhat underwhelming. Should he be able to get his season numbers up to at least 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks, his overall value would likely climb inside the top 50.

The Syracuse product notched his first double-double of the season and his first since November of 2021. Over his last four games, Grant is up to 23.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.5 threes per game.

Grant could be the missing piece the Trail Blazers have been looking for, as he's providing much-needed offensive pop at a position that has been a weak point for the team over the past couple of seasons.

What stands out the most from Grant's preseason is his 6.8 free-throw attempts per game. He averaged 6.4 attempts in 33.9 minutes last season, so the preseason number represents a solid increase. Ultimately, it seems like Grant is in for another season of being a primary scoring option for the Pistons.

Additionally, he remains a strong blocks contributor and has now swatted at least one shot in all but three contests to this point in the campaign.

Grant (back) has been cleared to play in Tuesday's tilt against the Trail Blazers, Harrison Wind of TheDNVR.com reports.

Grant was a late addition to the injury report hours before tip-off. However, it looks like his pregame warmups went well enough for him to get the green light. Barring any setbacks, look for him to take on his usual workload.

The 25-year-old is a late addition to Tuesday's injury report, putting his availability in doubt for the front end of the back-to-back set. Grant's potential absence would leave the Nuggets extremely shorthanded in the frontcourt, with Michael Porter (ankle), Paul Millsap (knee) and Mason Plumlee (foot) already ruled out.

Grant posted 14 points (5-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three blocks and one steal in 45 minutes during Sunday's 128-123 overtime loss at Detroit.

Grant has scored in double digits in all but one game since moving to the starting lineup 14 games and is averaging 15.0 points per game during that stretch. He has been a force on the defensive end of the court of late, though, tallying 10 blocks in his last two games and logging multiple blocks and/or steals in four of his last seven contests.

Grant amassed 15 points (5-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and one steal in 34 minutes during Thursday's 106-100 victory over Utah.

Grant was somewhat underwhelming Thursday but still managed to contribute in a number of categories. With the Nuggets struggling to find healthy players, Grant has stepped into the starting power forward role. Over the past two weeks, he has been a second-round player in nine-category formats, establishing himself as a must-roster player. Given his strong play, there is a realistic chance he can maintain standard league value, even when others start returning.

Grant notched 21 points (7-17 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four assists, four rebounds, two steals and one block in 38 minutes during Tuesday's 104-96 loss at Memphis.

Grant has topped the 20-point mark in back-to-back games, and he continues to benefit from Paul Millsap's absence due to a knee injury. The 25-year-old power forward has started each of Denver's last 11 games and is averaging 15.5 points while shooting 47.2 percent from the field and an impressive 44.7 percent from three-point range during that stretch. Grant's value and upside moving forward will be heavily dependent on the return of both Millsap and Jamal Murray (ankle), but he has been Denver's second-best scoring option over the last few weeks and he should remain on that role at least on a short-term basis.

Grant had 25 points (8-12 FG, 3-3 3PT, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one block in 29 minutes during Sunday's 117-110 win over the Rockets.

Grant has made the most of Paul Millsap's absence due to a knee injury, as he has scored in double digits in nine of the last 10 games where he has started. He is averaging 15.0 points and 5.1 rebounds per game during that stretch. He has taken things to a whole new level of late, though, as he is also shooting 50.0 percent from deep and 61.5 percent from three-point range during his last four contests.

Grant registered 14 points (5-14 FG, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block in 37 minutes during Friday's 113-106 win over the Pelicans.

Grant struggled from the field but filled up the box score, contributing in every category except threes. He continues to play a major role amid the absences of Paul Millsap (knee) and Mason Plumlee (foot), and Grant logged season highs in rebounding and minutes while matching his season high in assists in this one.

Grant had 19 points (8-13 FG, 3-6 3PT) in Monday's win over Minnesota.

Starting again in place of Paul Millsap, Grant played 32 minutes and led all Denver starters with 19 points. He also chipped in seven rebounds, two assists and one steal.

Grant logged 16 points (6-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, one steal and one block in 33 minutes Sunday in the Nuggets' 115-107 loss to the Pacers.

Grant made his sixth consecutive start in place of the injured Paul Millsap (knee) and once again showcased a well-rounded skill set. Since cracking the starting five, Grant is averaging 12.5 points (on 46.2 percent shooting from the field), 4.0 boards, 1.3 assists, 1.3 blocks and 0.8 steals in 30.8 minutes. That's good enough to keep him on the radar in 12-team leagues while Millsap is out, though Grant's fantasy upside isn't especially high.

Grant managed 11 points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 7-12 FT), two rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 33 minutes during Sunday's 114-104 victory over the Clippers.

Grant remained in the starting lineup with Paul Millsap (knee) on the sidelines. He continues to play big minutes; however, the production has been less inspiring. He had a combined three steals and blocks but the percentages were less than ideal. As long as Millsap is out, Grant can have limited value in 12-team formats but is certainly not a must-roster player.

Grant put together an extremely impressive stat line while drawing the start in place of Paul Millsap (knee), finishing with season highs in swats and minutes. It's unclear whether Millsap will be ready to return for Saturday's matchup versus the Cavaliers, but if not Grant would almost certainly draw another start at power forward.

Grant is starting Wednesday against the Mavericks, Nick Kosmider of The Athletic reports.

Grant is set to make his fourth start of the season Wednesday in Dallas with Paul Millsap (knee) unavailable. In his three prior starts, Grant posted averages of 14.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 1.0 steal in 30.7 minutes.

Grant (finger) doesn't appear on the Nuggets' injury report for Thursday's game against the Nets.

Grant sprained his left index finger late in Tuesday's 125-121 loss to the Hawks, but the injury apparently wasn't even serious enough to warrant a "probable" tag heading into Thursday's contest. Expect Grant to fill his usual duties as the top backup to starting power forward Paul Millsap, a role that has translated to 8.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 21.9 minutes per game this season.
