Collins is showing the upside he couldn't live up to as a member of the Hawks, and his fantasy upside has risen considerably compared to 12 months ago. He looks like a pivotal pice of the Jazz's offensive scheme in the frontcourt alongside Lauri Markkanen.

Heading into 2023-24, he is going to have to make some significant changes should he hope to be a key piece on a team with playoff aspirations.

Better late than never is what they say, and this was certainly the case Tuesday. After a poor showing thus far in the playoffs, Collins finally rediscovered some form right when the Hawks needed it the most. Based on his inconsistent production this season, stringing two strong games together could prove difficult for Collins. Hawks fans will be hoping he can build off this effort as they attempt to send the series to a seventh game.

Collins notched eight points (3-7 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds and one assist over 21 minutes during Friday's 130-122 victory over the Celtics in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Collins managed just 21 minutes in the victory, unable to produce anything of note once again. In what has been a season full of disappointment, it appears as though Collins has simply lost his mojo at this point. Although he continues to start, his production is nowhere near what we have seen him do in the past. Looking beyond this season, perhaps a change of scenery is the only thing that can change his fortunes.

Collins (back) isn't listed on the Hawks' injury report for Tuesday's Play-In matchup against Miami.

Collins sat out the regular-season finale due to low back tightness, but as expected, he'll be available for Atlanta's first playoff action. Across 71 regular-season appearances, the sixth-year forward averaged 13.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 blocks in 30.0 minutes per game.

After going 8-for-16 from the free-throw line over a five-game stretch from March 25 through April 2, Collins has bounced back nicely in that area over his subsequent two appearances. He's gone a perfect 11-for-11 from the charity stripe between Wednesday's game and Tuesday's win over the Bulls, bringing his rate back up above 80 percent for the season. Collins was able to deliver some three-point production to go along with the efficiency from the charity stripe, but his stat line was otherwise hollow. That's a regular occurrence of late, as he's averaging just 4.9 boards, 1.1 assists, 0.5 blocks and 0.4 steals in 21 appearances since the All-Star break.

Collins racked up five points (2-10 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist across 28 minutes during Friday's 124-107 loss to the Nets.

Collins was starting to roll in mid-March, but now he's back on the wrong trajectory. Over the past three games, he's averaging just 8.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 three-pointers without any steals or blocks. He's also shooting just 33 percent in that span.

Collins produced 21 points (9-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal over 32 minutes during Saturday's 143-130 victory over Indiana.

Collins scored double-digits for the fifth straight game, during which time he has shot at least 50 percent in all five. After a mediocre season, Collins is finding some consistency, much to the delight of fantasy managers battling in their playoffs. The Hawks play again Sunday, making Collins a firm hold in all formats, at least for now.

Collins closed Friday's 127-119 victory over the Warriors with 22 points (8-15 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one block and one steal across 29 minutes.

Collins was on a mission right from the start of this game, racking up 17 points in the first quarter alone. The last time that Collins eclipsed 17 points in an entire game was way back on Jan. 25. He's been working with shooting coach Kyle Korver and will look to build on this momentum Sunday against the Spurs.

Collins finished Wednesday's 122-120 victory over the Wizards with 14 points (5-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt), five rebounds, one block and one steal across 29 minutes.

After staying put in Atlanta in the aftermath of Thursday's trade deadline, Collins has responded with a pair of quality scoring outings. Unlike Thursday's win over Phoenix in which he supplemented his 16-point performance with little else in the box score, Collins checked off every category Saturday and was even perfect at the free-throw line. The 25-year-old big man still continues to endure his worst fantasy season since his rookie year, but he remains worthy of a back-end roster spot in both 10- and 12-team category and points leagues.

Collins produced 16 points (6-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds and one steal across 31 minutes during Thursday's 116-107 win over Phoenix.

Collins scored 16 points on 12 shots and went 4-for-4 from the line but added little else. Atlanta pulled down a total of 59 rebounds, but he could only manage two in 31-plus minutes on the floor. The 25-year-old's season averages remain serviceable (13.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game) but he still struggles with consistency in his starting role, and his ceiling seems to be capped, as he hasn't topped 20 points in a game since the beginning of January.

Collins chipped in 16 points (7-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds and one steal across 34 minutes during Saturday's 120-113 loss to the Clippers.

Collins scored 16 points in the loss, bringing his streak of double-digit scoring to eight consecutive games. While that seems nice on the surface, during that span, he has scored no more than 19 points in any one game, adding very little in terms of defensive numbers. He is the 65th-ranked player this season but has fallen outside the top 90 over the past month. It would appear that any hopes of him being a top-50 player have gone by the wayside, with managers better off tempering their expectations somewhat.

Collins finished with 17 points (7-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt), nine rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block across 35 minutes in Friday's 139-124 win over the Knicks.

Despite handling his lowest usage rate (12 percent) since late November, Collins still managed to turn in above-average fantasy line in the Hawks' 15-point victory. The supremely efficient shooting was a major factor, and Collins seems to be gaining more and more confidence in firing away from distance. Before going 6-for-9 from three-point range over his past two games, Collins had averaged just 0.7 three-pointers on 21.9 percent shooting over his prior 10 outings.

Collins amassed 11 points (5-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds and one assist across 28 minutes before fouling out of Saturday's 114-103 win over the Raptors.

Collins was efficient with his scoring chances by hitting 55.6 percent of his attempts from the field, but he was unable to hit a triple in three tries. He also finished below his season average in rebounds (7.9 boards through 35 regular-season appearances).

Collins supplied 16 points (7-18 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and three blocks over 37 minutes during Friday's 130-114 loss to the Lakers.

Collins missed all five of his three-point attempts but still finished tied for second on Atlanta with 16 points. He also tied for the team lead with eight rebounds, but his best work came on the defensive end, where he blocked three shots. Collins snapped a two-game double-double streak Friday, but he did extend his run of contests with multiple blocked shots to three.

Collins scored 22 points (7-11 FG, 6-6 FT, 2-4 3Pt) to go along with 12 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks.

Collins filled up the stat sheet with his second consecutive double-double and his fourth in his eight games since returning to action on December 19th. Collins has been extremely effective and efficient for the Hawks so far this season.

Collins closed Monday's 143-141 double-overtime loss to Golden State with 25 points (9-17 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal over 40 minutes.

Collins finished with at least 25 points and 10 rebounds for the second time this season, which have both come over his past four appearances. During that stretch, the talented big man has averaged 19.8 points, 10.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 31.5 minutes. This is arguably the best stretch of Collins' season, and he'll look to maintain his strong play against the Kings on Wednesday.

Collins ended with 26 points (11-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 10 rebounds and one block across 30 minutes before fouling out of Tuesday's 129-114 loss to the Pacers.

Collins was efficient from the field and active on the glass en route to his first double-double since Nov. 27, when he posted 23 points and 14 rebounds in a loss against the Heat. Collins bounced back from two subpar performances, but he still seems to be shaking off the rust after missing eight straight games earlier this month. He's averaging just 12.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game across his last 10 outings.

Collins will not have his minutes monitored in Friday's game against the Pistons, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.

Collins logged 20 and 21 minutes in his two games after his eight-game absence but will no longer have limitations. Prior to his injury, Collins logged at least 30 minutes in nine consecutive contests and averaged 12.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in that stretch.

Collins notched four points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), seven rebounds and one steal over 21 minutes during Wednesday's 110-108 loss to Chicago.

Collins made his second appearance Wednesday following an eight-game absence, but his playing time was limited once again during the narrow loss to the Bulls. He remained consistent on the boards but has been eased into action over the last two games. It wouldn't be surprising to see the Hawks continue to monitor the 25-year-old's workload over the next few matchups.

He should continue to work his way back over the next few games, starting with what could be a favorable matchup against the Bulls on Wednesday.

Collins closed Sunday's 106-98 loss to the Heat with 23 points (11-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt), 14 rebounds, two assists and one block across 37 minutes.

Collins has been held in check of late, averaging 10.6 points and 5.4 rebounds over his last seven matchups, but he provided a spark for his squad Sunday evening. He found success shooting the basketball and also came down with a season-high 14 boards. Collins has had no shortage of opportunities so far this season, though he's yet to show that he can consistently produce at this level.

He recorded four of his five double-doubles in the month of October, so he's been losing steam in recent weeks. Collins has also been held to single digits in two of his last four games.

Collins finished Saturday's 121-109 loss to the 76ers with six points (2-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and one block across 33 minutes.

Collins was poor in the loss, and honestly, that's putting it nicely. After a red-hot start to the season, Collins has struggled of late, reverting back to some of his old tricks. While it is too early to panic, managers certainly have to be feeling the pinch given he is outside the top 150 over the past week. It is not the time to be selling and so sitting tight is really the only course of action.

Collins provided 11 points (3-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 26 minutes during Thursday's 104-95 win over the 76ers.

Collins went just 1-of-5 from the field in the first half while also knocking down both of his free-throw attempts for a total of four points. He made only two more shots in the second half while not recording more than one field goal in any quarter. The Hawks power forward also failed to reach double-digit rebounds for the fourth-straight game after reaching that mark in six of his first eight contests to begin the season.

Collins hasn't turned in the most glamorous of lines over his past two contests, but he's recorded back-to-back double-doubles despite shaky shooting. He's just 1-for-8 from three over that stretch, and after swatting 12 shots over his first five games, he's registered just one block in the three contests since.

Collins managed to record his fourth double-double of the season in the loss, although it was far from a productive night. The Hawks were completely outplayed in this one, meaning the starters were limited down the stretch. After a red-hot start to the season, Collins has slowed of late, averaging just 6.7 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks across his last three games. Given he is prone to stretches such as this, there is optimism he can get things going again.

Collins amassed 19 points (9-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 11 rebounds, four blocks and one steal across 36 minutes during Wednesday's 118-113 win over Detroit.

Collins was at it again Wednesday, turning back the clock with a strong two-way effort. After a down season in 2021-22, Collins appears to be fully healthy and ready to roll. He was slept on in a number of drafts but for those lucky enough to snare him, the rewards have been plentiful. While we could see his rebounding and block numbers come down at some point, the scope for him to be a top-40 player is very much a realistic goal.

Collins missed seven of his first eight shot attempts before hitting two layups in the second half. The 25-year-old had strong offensive performances in his first two games and made five of six tries from beyond the arc before missing all seven of his three-point attempts Sunday. He's posted a double-double in consecutive games and is averaging 10.3 rebounds thus far.

Collins accumulated 23 points (9-14 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, one block and three steals over 36 minutes in Friday's victory over the Magic.

Collins continued to get it done on both ends of the floor on Friday night, grabbing a game-high 13 rebounds while scoring over 20 points for the second-straight game to open the season. Nine of Collins' 23 points came in the second quarter on 3-of-6 shooting, while he also knocked down both of his free throw attempts to bring the Hawks back within four just before the half. He also recorded three steals in the game, with two of them coming against rookie sensation Paolo Banchero.

Collins produced 24 points (9-12 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal across 34 minutes during Wednesday's win over Houston.

Collins had a quiet start to the game in the first quarter before finding his stroke and going 5-of-6 from the field in the second for 13 points. The Hawks power forward would only miss one shot in the second half while also grabbing five big fourth quarter rebounds to help the Hawks preserve their lead down the stretch. Eight of Collins' made field goals came off of assists from Trae Young and Dejounte Murray while the big man was also perfect from both three-point range and the free-throw line.

Collins scored 15 points (6-10 FG, 3-5 3 Pt, 0-2 FT) with seven rebounds and a steal over 24 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Cavaliers.

Collins did little in the first half, collecting five points on 2-of-3 shooting while grabbing four rebounds. He came out firing to start the second half, knocking down four of seven shots from the field, including two threes off assists from Trae Young. The Hawks forward would finish with 10 third-quarter points before sitting for all of the fourth.

Collins compiled 16 points (7-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and an assist in 24 minutes in a 123-113 win Thursday against Milwaukee in a preseason game in Abu Dhabi.

Collins scored nine of his points in the third quarter as he made four of his five shot attempts and his lone three-pointer. All three of his rebounds came in the first half and he was unable to secure a board in 11 minutes in the second half. The 25-year-old missed 23 of the last 27 games last year with finger and foot issues before returning in the playoffs in a limited capacity. He's averaged 17.8 points and 8.7 rebounds as a starter in his five seasons and looks to return to that form if healthy.

Collins finished Tuesday's 97-94 loss to Miami with seven points (3-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and two rebounds across 26 minutes.

Collins couldn't make much of an impact during the Round 1 series, though it seemed like he may have been rushed back from finger and foot injuries in the wake of Clint Capela suffering a knee injury during the do-or-die play-in game against the Cavaliers. Collins failed to score more than 13 points in any of the five games against the Heat, and he never crossed the 30-minute threshold.

Collins amassed 13 points (6-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Tuesday's 115-105 loss to the Heat.

Collins looked good in Game 1 and it was not a surprise to see him in the starting lineup for this one. While the Hawks had to settle for another loss, the move paid off from a fantasy perspective since Collins recorded his first double-double since March 7. Expect the big man to remain in the starting lineup ahead of Game 3 on Friday at Atlanta.

He'll look to build on Sunday's eight-point performance Tuesday at home against the Magic.

Collins is dealing with a left ankle sprain that has caused him to miss the last nine games, and he will have a minutes restriction if he is able to return. If he's available to return, Solomon Hill will likely be looking at a decline in his role.

Collins (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Pacers, Brad Rowland of PeachtreeHoops.com reports.

After missing nine games, Collins may return Sunday. If he does, there's a chance he'll be on a minutes limit. More information may arrive before tipoff, as he might go through pregame warmups before a decision on his status is determined.

Collins (ankle) has progressed to dynamic foot contacts, lateral shuffling and individual on-court work. He will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days.

The earliest Collins could return would be April 18 against the Pacers, but that would mean surprisingly fast progress. In the meantime, Solomon Hill and Danilo Gallinari (ankle) should continue seeing expanded roles.

General manager Travis Schlenk said that Collins (ankle) was able to put up some shots during Monday's practice, Mike Conti of the Atlanta Hawks Radio Network reports.

Schlenk didn't suggest that Collins mixed in with the Hawks' healthy players during drills, so that's a benchmark he'll need to hit in his recovery program from the sprained left ankle before the team gives him the green light to play. He'll remain out for both ends of the Hawks' back-to-back set Tuesday against the Pelicans and Wednesday against the Grizzlies, but Collins isn't expected to miss significant time beyond that. His ongoing absence has allowed Danilo Gallinari and Solomon Hill to pick up additional minutes at power forward.

One game after scoring a career-high 38 points against the Warriors, Collins regressed in a big way. Collins is a focal point of the offense and has scored in the double-digits in 16 consecutive games, but he experiences fluctuations in shot volume that definitely affect his bottom line. Still, he usually finds a way to contribute in other categories, which can offset a mediocre night of shooting.

Collins scored 38 points (14-19 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 6-7 FT) to go along with 12 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 34 minutes in Friday's win over the Warriors.

Collins set a new career-high with 38 points, surpassing his previous mark of 35. He did so on the strength of exceptionally efficiently shooting, and now has a field-goal percentage of 68.6 percent across his last five games. Collins has also hit the boards hard of late, as he has double-digit rebounds in four of his last seven contests.

Collins scored 10 points (5-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt) with eight rebounds and one steal in a 110-108 loss to the Kings on Wednesday.

Collins was able to score in double figures for an impressive 15th consecutive game in a narrow defeat. The forward had been shooting the ball better from three, making a shot from distance in four straight, but he has now failed to do so in back-to-back games. Collins continues to provide fantasy managers with solid point, rebound, block and steal totals. Over his last six contests he is averaging 20.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.2 steals per game.

Collins produced 23 points (10-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-5 FT), seven rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot across 28 minutes in Monday's 119-110 loss to the Clippers.

Although the Hawks allowed this game to slip away, the core of Collins, Trae Young and Clint Capela has put the Hawks into playoff contention with an 8-2 run during the month of March. Collins has been a little up-and-down during that span, but his averages of 19.2 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks during the run are all above his season avaeages.

Collins finished with 27 points (11-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 16 boards, three steals and three blocks in 32 minutes of a 99-94 win against the Lakers on Saturday.

Collins set a new season high pulling down 16 boards in his team's win and also lead his team in scoring in the contest. With the Lakers front court dealing with the injury bug, it opened up a major mismatch for Collins, who scored his highest point total since the Calendar flipped to March. He'll face the Clippers on Monday.

Collins ended with 20 points (9-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 10 rebounds, four blocks, one assist and one steal in 33 minutes during Tuesday's 119-107 victory over the Rockets.

With Clint Capela (heel) remaining on the sideline, Collins once again stepped into a more featured role, especially on the defensive end of the floor. Despite all the turbulence, Collins is still flirting with top-50 value across the season and does seem to be getting more comfortable in his new role. That said, this could be a sneaky opportunity to try and sell-high before Capela gets back on the floor.

Collins is averaging 16.6 points (on 43.5 percent shooting from the field), 8.2 rebounds and 1.2 three-pointers in 28.0 minutes per game over the Hawks' first five games under interim head coach Nate McMillan.

The coaching change from Lloyd Pierce to McMillan hasn't done much to spark Collins, whose numbers have tapered off in his fourth NBA season. In fact, Collins is playing nearly three fewer minutes per game with McMillan at the helm than he had under Pierce, and even his 28-minute average might be inflated, given that frontcourt mate Clint Capela was sidelined for two of those contests. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Hawks are listening to trade offers on the 2017 first-round pick leading up to the March 25 deadline, though Atlanta's asking price for Collins is said to be steep, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. Collins is thus most likely to stay put with Atlanta, but he could be a prime sign-and-trade candidate this offseason, when he'll become a restricted free agent.

Collins was one of four Atlanta players that scored in double digits and while he ended just two rebounds away from putting up a double-double, he also struggled from the field and needed 13 shots just to end with 13 points. Collins has still scored in double digits in eight straight games while grabbing at least seven boards in all but one of those eight contests, so he's still producing even when his shot abandons him from time to time.

Collins registered 15 points (4-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and one block in the Hawks' 115-112 victory over the Magic on Wednesday.

Despite facing some foul trouble in the second half thanks to three fouls in the third quarter, Collins was able to come close to a double-double and help the Hawks erase a 19-point halftime deficit. Collins has been the consistent second-option behind Trae Young on offense for Atlanta. The forward averaged 18.1 points and 7.6 rebounds per game in the first half of the season, and he should continue to be a strong scoring and rebounding option for fantasy managers post All-Star break.

Collins scored 17 points (6-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT) to go along with seven rebounds and one assist across 27 minutes in Tuesday's win over the Heat.

Interim coach Nate McMillan made the decision to sit Collins for the entire fourth quarter, stalling his stat line. The decision was based on matchup rather than injury and Collins' workload will now need to be monitored going forward. Positively, Collins played well in the minutes he was given and appeared headed for his fourth double-double in the last six games prior to being benched.

Collins has averaged 19.6 points (on 57.1 percent shooting from the field), 8.6 rebounds, 1.4 three-pointers, 1.2 assists and 1.2 blocks in 27.4 minutes per game over his last five games.

Collins' numbers are heavily propped up by his last two games, as he followed up a 25-point, eight-rebound game Friday in Oklahoma City by supplying a 34-10 double-double to go with three blocks in Sunday's loss to the Heat. The big man will draw a matchup with Miami again Tuesday, giving him an opportunity to build some momentum heading into the All-Star break. Despite his solid form the past two contests, Collins hasn't quite lived up to the expectations fantasy managers laid out for him on draft day.

Collins scored 25 points (11-19 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go along with eight rebounds and one steal across 32 minutes in Friday's loss to the Thunder.

Trae Young struggled in the loss, leaving Collins as the primary offensive force for the Hawks. He responded by reaching 20 points for only the second time in his last nine games, though had a relatively empty stat line otherwise. Collins' defensive stats have notably been lacking in that same span, as he's averaging only 0.3 steals and 0.7 blocks.

Collins (concussion) added 14 points (6-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt), 11 rebounds, one assist and one block over 25 minutes Wednesday in the Hawks' 127-112 win over the Celtics.

Despite playing through a concussion, Collins still managed to put up his second double-double in his last three games. He's now seen his point total increase in four straight games though his rebounding has been up and down of late. After going 15 straight games in which he grabbed at least five rebounds, Collins has now failed to do so in six straight.

Even so, Collins' trajectory is positive, as he topped 20 points only twice in his first 13 games, but has reached the milestone six times in his last 11 contests.

However, his defensive output continues to lag, and as a result Collins is averaging only 1.0 blocks and 0.4 steals per game through 21 contests this season.

Collins led the team in field-goal attempts and topped 15 shots for only the fourth time this season. That helped him continue his strong run of scoring, as he's now averaging 20.2 points per across his last five contests. On the other hand, Collins turned in another empty defensive performance, continuing the trend of depressed steals and blocks contributions as compared to the 2019-20 campaign.

Collins went for 17 points (6-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT) and eight rebounds in 30 minutes in the Hawks' 116-100 win Friday over the Wizards.

With De'Andre Hunter leaving in the first half of Friday's game with knee soreness, Collins stepped up Friday night as the Hawks' No. 2 scorer behind Trae Young and finished behind Clint Capela in the rebounding department. Collins has now shot 60 percent or better from the field in three of his last four games while averaging 19.7 points and adding 8.5 rebounds per game.

Collins averaged 21.6 points last season but has found reaching said tally much more difficult in this campaign, surpassing said mark only four times across 18 games. Collins' current role is less appealing than it was last year, considering he seems to be serving as a second rebounding option (behind Clint Capela) and third scoring option (behind Trae Young and De'Andre Hunter) for the Hawks.

Collins registered 30 points (12-19 FG, 6-9 3Pt), seven rebounds and three assists across 37 minutes in Sunday's loss against the Bucks.

Collins was coming off a season-worst four-point game against the Timberwolves on Friday, but he followed it up with his third game with at least 30 points -- two of those have come over his last three appearances. Collins continues to start despite the fact he is likely to leave the franchise at the end of the season, and while his production has been inconsistent, he's clearly capable of lighting it up on any given night. The fact that he has scored in double digits in all but two games should give fantasy managers a sense of calm, but Collins' numbers might take a hit when Trae Young returns from the back injury that sidelined him Sunday.

Collins recorded four points (2-8 FG), seven rebounds, two assists and one block in 28 minutes during Friday's 116-98 win over the Timberwolves.

Collins' box score production was limited by seeing just 28 minutes due to the blowout. That said, he could see less usage and fewer minutes moving forward, as Danilo Gallinari made his return to the rotation Friday, seeing 15 minutes. We should expect Gallinari to trend closer to minutes in the mid-20s moving forward, which complicated Collins' playing time. It appears Collins and the Hawks are headed toward a divorce sooner than later after the two sides failed to reach an agreement on a contract extension, but until Collins finds himself in a better basketball situation, fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised if his fantasy production begins to fall by the wayside. When Collins sees minutes in the 20s, he's averaging just 12.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists.

Collins recorded 31 points (13-24 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 11 rebounds, one steal and one block in 43 minutes during Wednesday's 123-115 win over the Pistons.

Collins' 31 points set a season high while his 11 rebounds tied a season high. He's had an inconsistent start to the season, but with the Hawks missing multiple players Wednesday, coach Lloyd Pierce opted to give the starters all at least 38 minutes. Collins is still performing during games where he gets the run, averaging 18.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 blocks when seeing at least 30 minutes.

Collins tallied 15 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and four blocks across 36 minutes during Monday's 108-97 win over Minnesota.

The four blocks marked a season high for Collins as he rebounded from his first single-digit scoring game of the season with a strong all-around effort. The 23-year-old is up to 1.0 block per game as a result of this defensive display after he averaged 1.6 per contest last season.

Wednesday's matchup between the Suns and the Hawks has been postponed.

As has been the case multiple times this season, at least one of the two teams does not have the required eight available players for the game to be played. The Hawks' next game is scheduled for Friday against the Jazz in Utah.

The addition of a number of players has cut into Collins' opportunities, leaving many under the assumption he could be on his way out of Atlanta. His production has been serviceable, although, with Wednesday's outburst, he scales the player ranks to be positioned as a third-round option.

Collins and the Hawks will not come to terms on a contract extension, meaning Collins will become a restricted free agent in the summer of 2021, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

This isn't overly surprising, but whether or not the Hawks will bring back Collins next summer will remain a key plot point over the course of the season. It's the fourth time in the last nine games Collins has poured in 30 or more points, and he's averaging an impressive 26.0 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.7 threes and 1.3 blocks over that stretch.

The former first-round pick has been Atlanta's second-best scoring option behind Trae Young, and has delivered solid value since returning from a 25-game suspension earlier this season. Collins was just one rebound away from recording his second straight double-double in the loss. Facing Joel Embiid and the Sixers is never easy and this was the ninth time in his last ten starts that Collins has produced over 20 points. Next, the power forward will face the Magic on Wednesday night and remains a strong option for both daily and season-long formats.

The talented big man posted his second-highest rebounding total of the season, but his contribution have been stellar in other areas as well. Collins has started Atlanta's nine games during February and his numbers have been impressive across the board -- he is averaging 25.4 points while notching six double-doubles during that stretch.

In the first three games that Dewayne Dedmon had joined the Hawks on the court, Collins seemed to have played even better than his season averages, posting 25.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 threes per game, while shooting 68.9 percent from the field, and 85.7 percent from the line prior to this outing. Considering Collins has played 46 percent of his minutes at the center position, things could get tricky when/if Clint Capela begins on-court work with the team. For now, Collins remains locked in as a must-start player.

He's averaging 26.0 points, 10.3 boards, 2.0 assists, 1.3 threes and 1.0 blocks over that stretch, and he and Trae Young continue to show strong chemistry even if the rest of the Hawks' roster isn't giving the duo much help.

Collins recorded his seventh straight double-double while logging a career high minute total. It's unclear how well Collins will fit alongside center Clint Capela (heel), but the team's new addition isn't expected to make his debut until after the All-Star break.

Posting early-round value on the season (first-round value in nine-category leagues), Collins has been a real bright spot for Atlanta up to this point. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, Collins seems to have run into a slight speed bump, as the Hawks traded for big men Clint Capela and Dewayne Dedmon in separate deals. Capela and Dedmon will undoubtedly soak up all the center minutes when healthy (Capela is dealing with a heal issue), pushing Collins to play the large majority of his minutes away from the basket, potentially resulting in fewer opportunities for rebounds and blocks. Collins has played 50 percent of his minutes at the center position this season, so it'll be a transition for fantasy owners.

A rash of injuries in Atlanta's frontcourt and Young's uncertain availability for Monday's home matchup against the Celtics could result in Collins being a top play across all formats in the team's upcoming matchup.

In addition to the impressive effort on the glass, Collins also extended his double-digit scoring streak to nine games -- he is averaging 22.1 points and 10.9 boards per game during that stretch.

With Trae Young (thigh) sitting out Wednesday, Collins exploded for game-high point and rebound totals. The 22-year-old has generated six double-doubles in the last eight games alone, an excellent stretch of play that's seen him post multiple blocks in six contests as well. As those numbers indicate, Collins has been offering rewarding levels of production with Young on the floor, but he'll be primed for even bigger numbers the caliber of which he generated Wednesday if the star point guard remains out for Friday's contest against the Thunder.

Collins continues to be a double-double threat on most nights, but more often than not, it hasn't led to victories for Atlanta. Regardless, Collins appears to have settled back in after a lengthy suspension early in the season, as he's notched double-doubles in five of his last seven contests. Collins has also blocked nine shots over the last four games.

The NBA announced Tuesday that Collins (ankle) has been suspended 25 games due to a violation of the league's anti-drug policy, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Collins' violation stemmed from a positive test for Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-2 (GHRP-2), per the NBA's press release. The Hawks big man becomes the second noteworthy player to receive a 25-game ban since the season began, joining the Suns' Deandre Ayton. Unless Collins successfully appeals the ban, he'll sit out Tuesday's contest against the Spurs and will be unavailable until the Hawks' Dec. 23 game in Cleveland. Collins' absence should free up major minutes for Jabari Parker at power forward, while starting center Alex Len could also benefit from heightened usage in the frontcourt.

Collins practiced fully Friday and said his left ankle sprain is "nothing too bad," Sarah K. Spencer of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Collins sustained the ankle sprain during Thursday's loss to the Heat, but he returned to the game after receiving treatment and still ended up playing 33 minutes. The Hawks' next game isn't until Tuesday versus the Spurs, so the 22-year-old will have a few days to rest up and doesn't appear to be in danger of missing the contest.

Collins (illness) is not on the injury report for Thursday's season opener against the Pistons.

Collins is listed as probable on the injury report Wednesday with pain in his left knee, Brad Rowland of Locked On Hawks reports.

The official designation is "left knee tendon pain," but the fact that Collins is probable implies that it's nothing of real concern. The third-year forward went for 13 points and five rebounds in Monday's preseason game against the Pelicans.
