If points are not a priority, he does make for a sneaky plug-and-play option moving forward.

In 27 minutes off the bench, Bridges went for 19 points (8-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and 10 rebounds Monday during the Hornets' 119-94 victory over the Rockets.

Bridges has now recorded double-doubles in consecutive games for the first time this season and his 19 points are most he's scored in a game since Jan. 8. He will look to continue his mini hot-streak when the Hornets take on the Grizzlies Wednesday.

Making his first start of the season for the injured PJ Washington (foot), Bridges topped the 15-point mark for the first time since Jan. 24 and his eight rebounds were the most since Dec. 30. Should Washington not be able to return, look for Bridges to get the nod again. The Hornets take on the Jazz on Friday.

However, he was slightly less efficient from the floor Friday and fell just short of the mark. Bridges still managed to contribute to the offensive attack with three assists in the win.

Bridges dropped 18 points (8-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists and two steals over 25 minutes off the bench in the Hornets' 107-104 win Sunday over the Magic.

After not attempting a shot in Friday's loss, Bridges took 11 shots and connected on nearly 73 percent of them en route to his highest scoring output since January 8. After going his first four games scoring less than 10 points, Bridges has now hit the double-digit plateau in five of his last eight games.

Bridges recorded two points (2-2 FT) and seven rebounds in 19 minutes during Friday's 123-110 loss to the Bulls.

With Cody Zeller returning from a broken hand, he and Bismack Biyombo accounted for 39 of the Hornets' minutes at center. That shifted PJ Washington more to power forward, leaving less time available for Bridges at the position. Bridges was extremely conservative in Friday's game, taking no field goal attempts, and he was sloppy with the ball too, committing four turnovers. The third-year forward out of Michigan State has been wildly inconsistent this season, scoring fewer than five points in five of his 15 appearances, and he's hit the 20-point mark just twice.

Bridges notched four points (2-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt), six rebounds, five assists and a steal across 29 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's loss against the Mavericks.

Bridges has been very inconsistent when it comes to his scoring figures but has scored at least 13 points in two of his last four appearances, so he has shown the ability to make an impact off the bench. Those inconsistencies hurt his upside, however. He is averaging 8.8 points on 44 percent from the field and 38.2 percent from three-point range over his last 10 games, logging 26.3 minutes per contest in that span.

Bridges converted 13 points (5-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots and a steal across 25 minutes in Monday's 109-88 win over the Knicks.

The recent influx of talent in Charlotte has done a number on Bridges' fantasy value. He started the majority of the Hornets' games last season, but Gordon Hayward's arrival is about the worst thing that could happen to his overall output. Still, he's fought to stay involved and has popped with two 20-point performances this season. Such lines are few and far between currently, and it may take an injury for Bridges to climb back into fantasy relevance.

Bridges didn't hit a field goal for the second time across his last three games as he turned in possibly his worst game of the season despite the team's success. The 22-year-old is struggling with his consistency this year so far and averaging about four points less per game from last season. It's not uncommon for young players to be inconsistent, but his fantasy managers will hope Bridges can do away with these two-point outings soon.

The 20 points and four made threes tied his season highs in those categories. Bridges hadn't managed more than eight points in any of the Hornets' prior four games, but the third-year forward has shown he has the upside to be a vital part of Charlotte's bench. The next step for Bridges is to find some consistency.

Bridges is yet to start a game in 2020-21, but he has been very productive in a substitute role and is averaging 12.5 points per game while featuring mostly with the second unit thus far.

While he was part of the second unit, Bridges still saw more court time than starting center Cody Zeller (seven points, four boards in 16 minutes), a pattern that could easily continue into the regular season. The Hornets are still trying to figure out their best rotation around new addition Gordon Hayward, but heading into his third NBA season, Bridges should still be a key part of the team's young core.

Storylines like this are becoming a trend in Bridges' young career, as he has yet to consistently deliver in stretches and finish strong as defenses adjust to him.

Bridges scored 13 of his 20 points during a third-quarter run that saw Team USA take control of what was an entertaining game. Bridges has been much better of late for the Hornets, putting up top-80 numbers over the past two weeks. The Hornets have already exceeded many expectations this season and are undoubtedly going to look to their youth moving forward. Despite a number of questions remaining, Bridges should be able to be a consistent 12-team asset the rest of the way.

Bridges posted 20 points (6-16 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 115-108 win over the Timberwolves.

Bridges was able to make an impact on both sides of the ball, racking up at least 20 points, one steal and one block for the third time this season. Wednesday also marked the eighth straight contest in which Bridges has attempted double-digit shots -- a stretch in which he's averaging 19.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 34.4 minutes.

Bridges scored a game-high 18 points (7-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding seven rebounds and a steal in 33 minutes during Monday's 87-76 win over the Pistons.

Neither team shot better than 37.5 percent from the floor, so Bridges' performance was fairly impressive under the circumstances. The second-year forward is emerging as one of the Hornets' go-to players, averaging 19.8 points, 7.8 boards and 2.2 threes through five games in February.

Bridges finished with a career high in rebounding while posting his fourth double-double through 51 appearances this season. Three of those double-doubles have taken place across the last 16 games, as Bridges has raised his level of play of late. Bridges has scored at least 20 in three of the last four games as well, and the 21-year-old sophomore seems to be hitting his stride.

Bridges shifted from small forward to power forward while PJ Washington (ankle) was sidelined, turning in a well-rounded stat line along the way, with the exception of his poor shooting from the field. The 21-year-old hasn't quite made the leap in his sophomore season that his draft-day investors might have anticipated, but Bridges has been trending up of late with averages of 19.8 points, 6.0 boards, 2.8 triples, 1.8 assists, 1.0 block and 0.8 steals over his last four outings.

Bridges registered 25 points (10-19 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 37 minutes during Saturday's 114-90 loss at San Antonio.

Bridges has topped the 20-point mark in back-to-back outings for the first time this season, and he has been catching fire since he came off the bench against the Bucks on Jan. 24. Since then, Bridges has averaged 21.0 points per game while shooting 52.2 percent from the field in three starts. Considering Terry Rozier's struggles and Devonte' Graham's inconsistencies, Graham could very well be one of the Hornets' go-to players on offense moving forward if he can keep this up. He is averaging 13.2 points per game since the start of 2020.

Bridges amassed 23 points (8-17 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, three assists and two steals in 34 minutes during Thursday's 121-107 loss to the Wizards.

Bridges was stellar, providing a well-rounded line while pacing Charlotte in scoring. This is the fifth time through 48 appearances this season that Bridges has gone for 20-plus points, and after a subpar rookie campaign the 21-year-old forward has taken a considerable step forward here as a sophomore.

Bridges is starting Tuesday against New York.

Bridges came off the bench Friday against the Bucks, but he'll return to the starting five Tuesday. Nicolas Batum heads back to a bench role as a result.

Bridges has scored in double digits in five of his last six outings, and he has been surprisingly consistent of late since he averaging 14.3 points while shooting 51.7 percent from the field and 44.0 percent from three-point range during that stretch. He might have a bigger role on offense moving forward due to Devonte' Graham's recent struggles, but either way he should remain productive Sunday at Phoenix.

The six three-pointers were a career high for the second-year forward, who delivered his best scoring effort since he dropped 31 on the Wizards in late November. Bridges is averaging 13.6 points, 7.6 boards, 2.4 assists and 1.6 threes over the last eight games, numbers which would put him on the fringes of fantasy relevance even in shallower formats if he can keep it up.
