Flirts with triple-double
Bridges posted 24 points (10-19 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), nine rebounds, eight assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Sunday's 115-106 loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Bridges finished Sunday's game as the Hornets' leader in points, rebounds and assists, and he came close to logging the second triple-double of his NBA career. The eighth-year forward has been a consistent contributor for the Hornets this season, though his three-point shooting has been an area he has struggled with (30.8 percent on 7.7 3PA/G). Bridges has opened the 2025-26 regular season averaging 21.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.5 blocks over 34.7 minutes per game.

Struggles vs. New York
Bridges logged eight points (3-12 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and six rebounds over 29 minutes during the Hornets' 119-104 loss to the Knicks on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Bridges attempted the third-most field goals on the Hornets, but he failed to crack double-digit points for a second consecutive game while missing all five of his three-pointers. He has scored just 16 points on 25.9 percent shooting over his last two outings, even with Brandon Miller (shoulder) sidelined for those contests. Bridges will look to bounce back Friday against the Raptors.
Nov 29, 2025
Season-high 35 points
Bridges posted 35 points (13-23 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 7-9 FT), three rebounds and one steal across 41 minutes during Saturday's 118-111 overtime victory over the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Bridges put the Hornets on his back, scoring 10 of his season-high 35 points during the overtime period. While his peripheral numbers left a little to be desired, managers have to be thrilled with his offensive output. With LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller seemingly in and out of the lineup on a regular basis, Bridges has been able to assert himself as a primary scoring threat, averaging 22.4 points and 2.8 three-pointers in 35.3 minutes per contest through the first 20 games of the season.
Nov 22, 2025
Active at charity stripe
Bridges recorded 19 points (5-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 9-10 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one block over 30 minutes during the Hornets' 131-116 loss to the Clippers on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Thanks to his work at the charity stripe, Bridges finished Saturday's game as the Hornets' third-leading scorer behind Kon Knueppel (26) and the returning Brandon Miller (21). The Hornets have a lot of mouths to feed on offense between Bridges, Knueppel, Miller and LaMelo Ball, so Bridges' usage on offense will be worth monitoring over the next several games. Bridges is averaging 22.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists over 34.9 minutes per game this season while shooting 42.2 percent from the field.
Nov 20, 2025
Continues to score in bunches
Bridges provided 25 points (9-20 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 127-118 loss to the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges produced very well in what is becoming a standout season for the 27-year-old from Michigan State. He's averaging a career-high 22.1 points per game, boosted by a 25-point effort against Indiana. Bridges has reached the 20-point threshold in all but one of Charlotte's last six outings. His constant presence in the starting lineup is a runway for these kind of performances to continue.
Nov 18, 2025
Drops 22 in loss
Bridges ended with 22 points (9-22 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals over 38 minutes during Monday's 110-108 loss to Toronto.
ANALYSIS
Bridges extends his streak of hitting multiple three-pointers to five, averaging 24.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.0 steals 0.6 blocks and 4.2 threes made in that span. While the Hornets have not been very good this season, Bridges has definitely been one of the few bright spots.
Nov 16, 2025
Poor shooting performance
Bridges posted 15 points (6-16 FG, 3-9 3Pt), four rebounds and four assists across 30 minutes during Saturday's 109-96 loss to Oklahoma City.
ANALYSIS
Bridges saw the end of his streak of games with at least 20 points in this loss. While he had a subpar performance in terms of his shooting efficiency, Bridges still had a decent stat line and hit multiple threes for the fourth consecutive game. He's averaging 24.5 points per game while shooting 36.1 percent from deep since the beginning of November, so there's a strong chance this was nothing more than a down game for the forward.
Nov 12, 2025
Sold output despite cold shooting
Bridges generated 20 points (7-19 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one steal over 33 minutes of Wednesday's 111-100 win over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was ice cold from beyond the arc, but still wound up with at least 20 points for the fifth time in six games. During that six-game stretch, Bridges is averaging 24.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists across 36.8 minutes. He led the Hornets in scoring Wednesday night.
Nov 10, 2025
Nets 34 points with full line
Bridges racked up 34 points (11-19 FG, 7-12 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and two turnovers in 40 minutes during Monday's 121-111 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges didn't seem bothered by the back issue at all, as he put up a season-high in points while logging 40 minutes of floor time, so he should be fine for Wednesday's game against the Bucks. He's hitting career-highs in triples (3.2) and assists (4.0) through the first 10 games of the season, and he should continue to see increased playmaking responsibilities while LaMelo Ball (ankle) is out.
Nov 10, 2025
Good to go Monday
Bridges (back) is available for Monday's game against the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges, previously listed as probable with back spasms, will suit up Monday as expected. The forward has been on a strong run lately, averaging 22.2 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists over the Hornets' past five games.
Nov 10, 2025
Upgraded to probable
Bridges (back) has been upgraded to probable for Monday's game against the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was initially listed as questionable, but he's trending in the right direction despite being less than 100 percent. He's been terrific through nine regular-season games with averages of 20.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.8 three-pointers on 40.0 percent shooting from the field.
Nov 9, 2025
Iffy for Monday
Bridges (back) is questionable for Monday's game against the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges is dealing with back spasms and is in jeopardy of missing his first game of the season. If the 27-year-old forward is ultimately ruled out, Liam McNeeley, Tidjane Salaun and Pat Connaughton are candidates for an uptick in minutes.
Nov 2, 2025
Posts 29-point outburst
Bridges recorded 29 points (7-18 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 12-12 FT), four rebounds and six assists in 33 minutes during Sunday's 126-103 win over Utah.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was the focal point of Charlotte's offensive attack Sunday evening, leading the way in scoring while also posting a serviceable effort as a distributor. He's off to a red hot start to November, dropping 30 points Saturday against Minnesota before his impressive 29-point outburst on the way to the Hornets' third victory of the season.
Nov 1, 2025
Drops 30 points against MIN
Bridges generated 30 points (10-16 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and one steal across 37 minutes of Saturday's 122-105 loss to the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Bridges set a season high in points Saturday, and he made six three-pointers in a game for the first time since March of 2024. The veteran wing has now logged at least eight rebounds in three of six games played, and he's yet to score fewer than 16 points in a game this season. No other Hornets player eclipsed 20 points Saturday night.
Oct 26, 2025
Nets 20 points in win
Bridges notched 20 points (6-16 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 9-10 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal in 32 minutes during Sunday's 139-113 victory over the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was lights out from distance in his first two games of the season, but the 34 percent career three-point shooter saw a reversion to the mean Sunday evening, as he bricked six of his seven three-point attempts. Still, while his shot wasn't falling, he was able to get some easy points at the line, and that helped him salvage his stat line.
Oct 26, 2025
Sniffs triple-double in loss
Bridges ended Saturday's 125-121 loss to Philadelphia with 18 points (6-18 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds and seven assists over 35 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Miles Bridges finished one rebound and three assists shy of recording a triple-double in Charlotte's loss on Saturday. The 27-year-old is averaging 18.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists against just 1.0 turnover per game across two outings in 2025-26. If Brandon Miller (shoulder) is forced to miss Sunday's contests versus the Wizards, expect Bridges' involvement to reflect that.
Oct 23, 2025
Double-double in win
Bridges recorded 18 points (6-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 136-117 victory over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was a solid contributor Wednesday, joining eight other Hornets in double figures and teaming with Ryan Kalkbrenner as one of two players to post a double-double. The wing has proven to be a reliable scorer, averaging over 20 points in each of the past three seasons, though his efficiency has gradually dipped with each campaign.
Oct 17, 2025
Scores 20 points in 18 minutes
Bridges notched 20 points (8-13 FG, 4-8 3Pt), five rebounds and two turnovers in 18 minutes during Friday's 113-108 preseason loss to the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges lit it up over the final three preseason games, posting averages of 23.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 4.3 triples per contest, so he looks more than ready to attack the 2025-26 season. He'll again be one of the key cogs in Charlotte's offense and will make for a solid, mid-round target on draft day.
Oct 16, 2025
Excels in preseason win
Bridges logged 29 points (11-16 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds and five assists in 30 minutes of Wednesday's 145-116 preseason win over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
This had the look of a regular-season dress rehearsal and the first unit for Charlotte had a field day. The offense was firing on all cylinders and Bridges showed good chemistry alongside LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller, with all three hoisting up 16 shots apiece.
Oct 11, 2025
Double-doubles in win
Bridges finished with 20 points (7-18 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-5 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 27 minutes during Saturday's 120-116 preseason win over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was efficient from deep, shooting 50 percent from beyond the arc while leading his squad in scoring (tied with LaMelo Ball). The veteran forward has played well in the preseason thus far, as he's done damage on the glass and with his outside shooting.
Oct 10, 2025
Nearly double-doubles
Bridges recored eight points (2-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 24 minutes of Thursday's 122-116 preseason loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Bridges missed the Hornets' final three games of the 2024-25 regular season with a hip injury, but he had a clean bill of health over the offseason. Bridges was a sixth-round fantasy player on a per-game basis in nine-category formats in 2024-25, but there are likely to be fewer offensive looks to go around if the Hornets have some luck in the injury department, particularly with LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller.
Sep 30, 2025
All systems go for training camp
Bridges (hip) worked on improving his conditioning during the offseason, Sam Perley of the Hornets' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges took a seat for the Hornets' final three games of last year with a hip injury, but he's returned to health prior to training camp this fall. The 27-year-old forward is in line to handle a crucial role in Charlotte's lineup as a secondary playmaker alongside LaMelo Ball for 2025-26. Bridges was outstanding when healthy to close out last season, averaging 21.5 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 31.1 minutes per game across 26 regular-season appearances after the All-Star break.
Apr 12, 2025
Not playing Sunday
Bridges (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Bridges is dealing with left hip soreness, which will end up causing him to miss the final three games of the season. Josh Okogie and Tidjane Salaun should see a bump in minutes in Sunday's regular-season finale due to Bridges' absence. Bridges will end his sixth season in Charlotte averaging 20.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.7 blocks in 31.7 minutes per game across 64 outings.
Apr 10, 2025
Won't play against Boston
Bridges (hip) is out for Friday's game versus the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Bridges will miss his second straight contest Friday due to left hip soreness. Tidjane Salaun will likely draw another start in his absence. Bridges' next chance to suit up is Sunday's regular-season finale against Boston.
Apr 9, 2025
Sitting out Wednesday
Bridges (hip) is out for Wednesday's game against the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Bridges played through a questionable tag Tuesday against the Grizzlies due to left hip soreness, finishing with 14 points (4-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one block in 30 minutes. He'll be held out for maintenance Wednesday, however, meaning Tidjane Salaun could step into a larger role for the Hornets.
Apr 8, 2025
Paces Charlotte in lackluster night
Bridges supplied 14 points (4-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one block in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 124-100 loss to the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Bridges finished as the Hornets' leading scorer Tuesday, though he struggled from the field once again. Over his last three outings, the 27-year-old forward has averaged 14.7 points and 4.0 rebounds while shooting an abysmal 30.4 percent from the field. Bridges will likely continue to serve as the top option for the non-contending Hornets, who have three regular-season games remaining.
Apr 8, 2025
Good to go Tuesday
Bridges (hip) is available for Tuesday's game against the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was a late addition to the injury report due to left hip soreness, though he'll shake off the questionable tag and suit up against Memphis. The 27-year-old forward has averaged 16.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.0 assists while shooting only 38.3 percent from the field across 28.4 minutes per contest.
Apr 8, 2025
Questionable for Tuesday
Bridges is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Grizzlies with left hip soreness.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was a very late addition to the injury report which doesn't bode well for his status. Tuesday's game is the front end of a back-to-back set, so the Hornets could be contemplating a maintenance day for one of the games. If Bridges sits out, Tidjane Salaun could step into an expanded role for Charlotte.
Apr 5, 2025
Struggles with shot Friday
Bridges totaled 22 points (7-21 FG, 2-11 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 28 minutes during Friday's 125-102 loss to Sacramento.
ANALYSIS
The final stat line was decent at first glance, although Bridges barely contributed in other areas outside of scoring, and that's something he often does on a regular basis. The star forward, who's likely to operate as the Hornets' go-to player on offense in the final games of the regular season, has scored at least 20 points in three of his last four outings, but the lack of efficiency is beginning to look worrisome. Bridges is shooting a mere 38.8 percent from the floor and 23.6 percent from three-point range over his last 10 appearances while averaging 16.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game in that stretch.
Apr 3, 2025
Puts up 18 points Wednesday
Bridges ended with 18 points (7-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, five assists and one block in 24 minutes during Wednesday's 119-105 loss to the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was efficient from the floor and also contributed in other categories despite logging a mere 24 minutes, the second time over the Hornets' last three games in which he doesn't reach the 25-minute mark. Don't be surprised if the Hornets reduce Bridges' minutes in the final days of the regular season with the team already out of playoff contention, and that would limit his fantasy upside considerably.
Apr 2, 2025
Available vs. Indiana
Bridges (illness) is available for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was a true game-time decision due to an illness, but the star forward will be available and should have a prominent role on offense for Charlotte. He's averaging 22.6 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game since the beginning of March.
Apr 2, 2025
Questionable for Wednesday
Bridges (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was a late addition to the injury report which is usually a troubling sign for fantasy managers. He was excellent during Monday's 110-106 win over the Jazz, posting 26 points (11-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 10 rebounds, eight assists, one block and one steal over 35 minutes. If he can't go, the Hornets could turn to Tidjane Salaun and Josh Okogie.
Apr 1, 2025
Sniffs triple-double in win
Bridges had 26 points (11-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 10 rebounds, eight assists, one block and one steal over 35 minutes during Monday's 110-106 victory over the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Bridges stuffed the stat sheet Monday, recording his 14th game with a double-double or better on the season. The 27-year-old posted game-high marks in points and assists in the win, and he was extremely efficient following a three-game span in which he had shot only 29.1 percent from the field. Bridges also sank at least three triples for the 23rd time in 60 regular-season appearances. In his last five games entering Monday's contest, Bridges had shot only 17.5 percent from beyond the arc, averaging 8.0 attempts per game.
Mar 31, 2025
Drops game-high 20 in loss
Bridges chipped in 20 points (7-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal over 22 minutes during Sunday's 98-94 loss to New Orleans.
ANALYSIS
The 27-year-old forward led all scorers on the night, but only two other Hornets even scored in double digits. Bridges' reduced minutes Sunday seemed more like a product of his team's position in the standings than his health -- Charlotte has the third-worst record, and the third-best lottery odds, in the league. Over six starts since returning from a one-game absence due to an illness, Bridges is averaging 15.7 points, 7.0 boards, 4.0 assists and 1.5 threes in 29.7 minutes a contest while shooting just 33.3 percent from the floor.
Mar 26, 2025
Poor shooting display in loss
Bridges amassed 11 points (5-19 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six rebounds and four assists in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 111-104 loss to Orlando.
ANALYSIS
Even though Bridges has carried the Hornets on offense at times throughout the season, there's no question this was a poor performance from the veteran, as he ended with more shots than points scored. The majority of Bridges' upside comes from what he can provide as a scorer, so if his shot isn't falling, his fantasy upside is reduced considerably.
Mar 24, 2025
Records double-double Sunday
Bridges notched 17 points (7-18 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 13 rebounds and four assists in 34 minutes during Sunday's 122-105 loss to Miami.
ANALYSIS
Bridges recorded a double-double for the fourth time over his last eight appearances, and the veteran has been one of the most consistent offensive weapons for Charlotte all season long, as he's also been available for all but two games since the beginning of January. Bridges is averaging 24.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.1 blocks per game since the beginning of March.
Mar 22, 2025
Scores 20 points in blowout defeat
Bridges posted 20 points (5-12 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 26 minutes during Friday's 141-106 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Bridges embraced a more prominent role on offense due to the absence of LaMelo Ball (ankle), and the veteran forward responded with his 33rd performance with at least 20 points. Bridges is going through his most productive month of the season and is averaging a robust line of 25.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game since the beginning of March.
Mar 21, 2025
Grabs 10 boards in win
Bridges amassed 15 points (6-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 10 rebounds and four assists across 33 minutes during Thursday's 115-98 win over New York.
ANALYSIS
LaMelo Ball and Mark Williams led the way for the Hornets in this contest, but Bridges posted a solid showing across the board and recorded his third double-double over his last six appearances. He's also scored in double digits in all but two of his 15 contests since the All-Star break.
Mar 20, 2025
Upgraded to available Thursday
Bridges (illness) will be available to play in Thursday's game against the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges missed Tuesday's game due to rest and has been dealing with an illness, but will be ready for Thursday night. The veteran forward has been a massive part of Charlotte's offense recently, averaging 28.0 points, 8.1 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.4 blocks and 0.6 steals in his last eight games.
Mar 19, 2025
Likely to play against New York
Bridges (illness) has been listed as probable for Thursday's game against the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
After missing Tuesday's loss to the Hawks for rest purposes, Bridges will likely play Thursday against New York despite battling an illness. The veteran forward recently had a hot streak in the scoring department but is coming off one of his worst games of the season offensively, finishing with seven points in the loss to the Clippers on Sunday.
Mar 17, 2025
Resting Tuesday
Bridges (rest) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges will miss his first game since Jan. 24, this time due to rest purposes. He should be available to return Thursday against the Knicks. Bridges' absence opens the door for Wendell Moore or Marcus Garrett (back) to enter the Hornets' starting lineup for Tuesday's game.
Mar 16, 2025
Rare dud in blowout loss
Bridges amassed seven points (3-10 FG, 1-7 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and one block over 25 minutes during Sunday's 123-88 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges' seven points were one shy of his season low set way back during the Nov. 2 loss to Boston, but he's been very productive in the month of March for the most part. Across his last nine outings, Bridges has averaged 26.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.3 blocks and 3.0 three-pointers in 34.0 minutes. The star forward should continue handling a featured role when available for the rebuilding Hornets down the stretch of the season.
Mar 13, 2025
Posts massive line
Bridges finished Wednesday's 123-110 loss to Atlanta with 31 points (11-19 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists, four blocks and two steals across 37 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Bridges recorded his 11th double-double of the season and matched his career-high mark of four blocks, something he's achieved three separate times. Bridges has been Charlotte's most consistent fantasy contributor, and he's on pace to return fourth-round value in nine-category formats with 21.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.7 blocks and 2.4 three-pointers.
Mar 11, 2025
Shines in win over Miami
Bridges closed Monday's 105-102 win over the Heat with 35 points (12-19 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two blocks in 37 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Bridges delivered 26 points in the win over Brooklyn on Saturday and posted another impressive line Monday, carrying the Hornets to a second straight win and leaving their eight-game losing skid in the past. Bridges has been the Hornets' best player over that stretch, and the numbers back him up. His 46-point effort in the loss to the Cavaliers stands out, but the consistency has been noticeable, too. He's averaging 26.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists and a combined 1.6 steals-plus-blocks per game in 11 outings since the end of the All-Star break.
Mar 8, 2025
Rattles off career-high 46 points
Bridges totaled 46 points (15-32 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 12-13 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and two steals across 39 minutes during Friday's 118-117 loss to the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was phenomenal in the loss, torching the Cavaliers for a career-high 46 points. Despite a couple of minor hiccups, Bridges has been able to put together one of the best stretches of his career over the past month. In 15 games during that time, he has averaged 23.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 2.8 three-pointers and 1.7 combined steals and blocks.
Mar 7, 2025
Drops career-high 46 points
Bridges closed Friday's 118-117 loss to the Cavaliers with 46 points (15-32 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 12-13 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and two steals in 39 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was on a mission during Friday's loss to the Cavaliers, finishing with a career-high 46 points for the Hornets. Cleveland had no answer for the 26-year-old, but it wasn't enough to win over the hottest team in the NBA, which has now won 13 straight games.
Mar 3, 2025
Near double-double in 35-point game
Bridges finished with 35 points (11-20 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 9-9 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and two blocks over 34 minutes in Monday's 119-101 loss to Golden State.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was present on Charlotte's injury report prior to Monday's contest with an illness, but took the floor and led all Hornets in scoring in a near double-double performance. Bridges, who also posted team-high-tying marks in threes made and blocks, recorded his second outing of the year with 35 or more points. Bridges came up one point shy of tying his season-high 36-point performance recorded just seven games ago on Feb. 20.
Mar 3, 2025
Good to go Monday vs. Golden State
Bridges (illness) is available for Monday's game against the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Bridges popped up on Sunday's injury report due to an illness, but it isn't severe enough for him to be sidelined for Monday's contest. The sixth-year forward has averaged 21.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 0.9 steals over 32.5 minutes per game since the beginning of February.
Mar 2, 2025
Under the weather
Bridges (illness) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Bridges is in jeopardy of missing his first game since Jan. 24 due to an illness. Tidjane Salaun and DaQuan Jeffries would stand to see a significant increase in playing time should Bridges not be cleared to play Monday. Bridges has averaged 20.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.2 steals over 32.3 minutes per game over his last 10 outings.
Feb 27, 2025
Double-doubles in loss
Bridges registered 20 points (9-24 FG, 2-8 3Pt), 12 rebounds, six assists and one block across 40 minutes during Thursday's 103-96 loss to the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
It was the ninth double-double of year for Bridges, who did have a team-high four turnovers and didn't shoot the ball particularly well Thursday. The star forward is taking on heavy usage for the injury-riddled Hornets at the moment, and he's been productive with averages of 20.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.4 steals, 0.9 blocks and 2.6 three-pointers in 31.5 minutes over his last eight games. However, Bridges is shooting just 38.1 percent from the floor during this span, and open looks could remain hard to come by if LaMelo Ball (ankle) continues to get maintenance days to close out the season.
Feb 21, 2025
Erupts for season-high 36
Bridges accumulated 36 points (12-23 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 13 rebounds, seven assists, one block and three steals across 34 minutes during Thursday's 129-115 loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
It was a season-best scoring effort for Bridges as well as his eighth double-double of the campaign, but he didn't get quite enough help to secure the Hornets' second straight road win. The 26-year-old forward stumbled into the All-Star break, managing just 26 points combined while shooting 17.0 percent from the floor over the last two contests before the pause, but the rest seems to have served Bridges well. In two games since play resumed, he's averaged 32.5 points, 9.5 boards, 5.0 threes, 4.0 steals, 3.5 assists and 1.0 blocks.
Feb 20, 2025
Scores team-high 29 points
Bridges finished Wednesday's 100-97 win over the Lakers with 29 points (9-22 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six rebounds, one block and five steals across 33 minutes.
ANALYSIS
LaMelo Ball had an impressive performance on both ends of the court for the Hornets, but Bridges was the one who carried the team offensively even if his shooting percentage weren't particularly efficient. The veteran will continue to operate as the Hornets' No. 2 option on offense going forward, but there's no question he's been productive in recent weeks and has reached the 25-point plateau in three of his last five appearances.
Feb 11, 2025
Muted performance in loss
Bridges racked up seven points (3-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 29 minutes during Monday's 97-89 loss to the Nets.
ANALYSIS
For the first time since November, Bridges was held to single-digit points. Fantasy managers can just chalk this up as an off night in what has been a solid campaign for the forward. Across 37 regular-season appearances, Bridges holds averages of 19.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.0 three-pointers in 32.0 minutes.
Feb 9, 2025
Nears double-double as top scorer
Bridges ended with 30 points (10-20 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 5-7 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Sunday's 112-102 loss to Detroit.
ANALYSIS
Bridges did it all for Charlotte in Sunday's contest, leading all players in scoring and rebounds while connecting on a team-high-tying mark from three and finishing one board short of a 30-10 double-double. Bridges matched a season high in threes made en route to posting his second game of the year with 30 or more points.
Feb 3, 2025
Logs first career triple-double
Bridges finished Monday's 124-114 loss to the Wizards with 24 points (9-21 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds and 10 assists over 36 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Bridges' lob pass to Mark Williams with less than one minute to play in the fourth quarter was not only Bridges' season-best 10th assist, but it also gave the 2018 first-round pick the first triple-double of his NBA career. Bridges isn't known for his passing, entering Monday's contest averaging just 3.6 assists per game, but he had no problem distributing the rock. Bridges should continue to handle most of the offensive responsibilities for as long as LaMelo Ball is sidelined due to a left ankle sprain.
Feb 1, 2025
Pop for 27 in Friday's loss
Bridges racked up a team-high 27 points (12-27 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds and six assists over 38 minutes during Friday's 112-104 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
The 26-year-old forward didn't get much help in the loss, as Vasilije Micic was the only other Hornet to score more than 11 points. Bridges has scored at least 20 points in 10 straight appearances, averaging 22.6 points, 7.2 boards, 3.7 assists, 2.3 threes and 0,8 steals over that stretch.
Jan 28, 2025
Notches 26 points in loss
Bridges chipped in 26 points (10-23 FG, 2-11 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 37 minutes during Monday's 112-107 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges certainly wasn't shy in this game with 11 attempts from beyond the arc -- this was his third game of the campaign with double-digit attempts from long range. With LaMelo Ball leaving early with an ankle injury, Bridges soaked up a ton of usage and could have a higher ceiling going forward if Ball ends up missing more time.
Jan 25, 2025
Scores 22 points against NOLA
Bridges totaled 22 points (8-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one block in 28 minutes during Saturday's 123-92 win over New Orleans.
ANALYSIS
Bridges returned Saturday from a one-game absence due to back spasms, and he finished as the Hornets' second-leading scorer behind LaMelo Ball (25). Bridges had struggled with his three-point shooting since returning from a right knee injury in early December, but he has managed connect on 45.2 percent of his threes on 6.0 3PA/G over his last seven outings. Over that span, he has averaged 21.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists over 33.4 minutes per game.
Jan 25, 2025
Available against New Orleans
Bridges (back) has been cleared to play in Saturday's game against the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has been dealing with back spasms, which kept him out Friday's loss to the Trail Blazers. However, he's been cleared to play against the Pelicans, improving the team's chances to come out with a win.
Jan 25, 2025
Likely to suit up Saturday
Bridges (back) is listed as probable for Saturday's game versus the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Bridges is expected to return to action Saturday after missing Charlotte's previous contest due to lower back spasms. Bridges should reclaim his starting spot from Cody Martin (core) if he's upgraded to available.
Jan 24, 2025
Ruled out Friday
Bridges (back) has been ruled out for Friday's game against Portland.
ANALYSIS
The Hornets will be extremely short-handed in the first leg of their back-to-back set with Bridges, LaMelo Ball (wrist), Brandon Miller (wrist) and Seth Curry (ankle) all on the shelf. With Bridges sidelined, Josh Okogie and Cody Martin are candidates for increased roles.
Jan 23, 2025
Questionable for Friday
Bridges (back) has been listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers, Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports.
ANALYSIS
With Brandon Miller (wrist) out for the season, the Hornets will need Bridges now more than ever. However, he might see the floor Friday due to back spasms. Josh Okogie could see a boost in minutes, with Bridges potentially forced to sit against Portland.
Jan 23, 2025
Solid all-around effort
Bridges accumulated 17 points (5-14 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, six assists and one steal over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 132-120 loss to the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
The Hornets came up short Wednesday, although Bridges delivered a solid showing -- even if his numbers were a tick below the performances of LaMelo Ball and Mark Williams. Bridges is averaging 19.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.0 steals per game across eight January outings.
Jan 18, 2025
Turns in 21 points
Bridges ended Friday's 125-123 victory over the Bulls with 21 points (8-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 32 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Bridges posted his fourth consecutive game with 20-plus points during a wild win against the Bulls. Although Charlotte's season has been a disappointment, Bridges' consistent play has been a bright spot for the team, and Friday's win was a great example of the Hornets' potential when the first unit is dialed in. Brandon Miller's (wrist) injury deprives the team of its second-best scorer, but Bridges will play a key role in filling the production gap.
Jan 16, 2025
Scores 25 points
Bridges closed Wednesday's 117-112 win over the Jazz with 25 points (9-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 39 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Mark Williams dazzled in the win with an impressive double-double, but Bridges made his presence felt as well. He's reached the 20-point mark five times over his last six appearances and is firmly entrenched as one of the best scoring weapons for the Hornets alongside LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller.
Jan 13, 2025
Scores 21 points in loss
Bridges recorded 21 points (8-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and five assists across 32 minutes during Sunday's 120-113 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was one of three players who reached the 20-point mark for the Hornets in this loss, with LaMelo Ball and Mark Williams being the other two. Bridges has reached the 20-point mark in four of his last five games, and he's been one of the few bright spots for the Hornets from a fantasy perspective in what has been another subpar season for the franchise.
Jan 9, 2025
Thursday's game postponed
Bridges and the Hornets will not play Thursday's contest against the Lakers, as it's been postponed due to the ongoing wildfires in the Los Angeles area, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Any teams scheduled to play in Los Angeles in the immediate future are at risk of having their games postponed. The Hornets are scheduled to play Saturday in LA against the Clippers, and the Lakers have their next seven games in the LA area.
Jan 7, 2025
Reaches 20 points in balanced game
Bridges ended with 21 points (8-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two steals over 37 minutes during Tuesday's 115-104 victory over Phoenix.
ANALYSIS
Bridges saw a balanced showing in Tuesday's contest, making an impact on both ends of the court while ending second among starters in rebounds and steals while ending as one of two Hornets with 20 or more points. Bridges has recorded 20 or more points in nine outings this season, doing so in six of his last 10 contests.
Jan 3, 2025
Balanced showing in defeat
Bridges finished with 20 points (5-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 7-9 FT), nine rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals in 39 minutes during Friday's 98-94 loss to Detroit.
ANALYSIS
Bridges did a little bit of everything for Charlotte in Friday's contest, leading all Hornets players in scoring and threes made while posting team-high-tying marks in rebounds, assists and steals over a team-high minute total. Bridges has posted at least nine rebounds in seven outings this season while recording his eighth game with 20 or more points.
Dec 30, 2024
Flirts with triple-double Monday
Bridges recorded 31 points (13-32 FG, 2-13 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 12 rebounds and eight assists over 36 minutes during Monday's 115-108 overtime loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
The 26-year-old stuffed the stat sheet Monday, during which he received the green light offensively with LaMelo Ball (ankle/wrist) and Brandon Miller (ankle) sidelined. Bridges was inefficient from beyond the arc while serving as the top option, though he nailed the game-tying three-pointer that sent the game to overtime, albeit in a losing effort. The sixth-year forward has now logged three double-doubles through 19 regular-season appearances, and he has also racked up seven games with 20-plus points thus far.
Dec 28, 2024
Full stat line as focal point
Bridges logged 19 points (5-16 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 10 rebounds, six assists, two blocks and one steal in 38 minutes during Saturday's 106-94 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
With top scoring options LaMelo Ball (wrist) and Brandon Miller (ankle) out Saturday, Bridges put together a full stat line for the Hornets, including a team-high 19 points and six assists despite Saturday's losing effort and poor shooting night from the field. It's also worth noting Bridges played a season-high 38 minutes in this one. Since returning from a knee injury, Bridges is averaging 19.1 points, 8.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.4 three-pointers across his last seven games. The 26-year-old forward may not necessarily excel in one particular area from a fantasy perspective, as his minutes are down considerably from last season, but Bridges should continue producing across the board as one of Charlotte's featured playmakers going forward.
Dec 27, 2024
First double-double of season
Bridges logged 22 points (8-17 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 14 rebounds, six assists, two blocks and one steal in 34 minutes during Thursday's 113-110 loss to the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Bridges delivered an impressive performance in this loss, ending as the Hornets' second-best scorer but also putting up excellent numbers in peripheral categories. Bridges notched his first double-double of the season in this loss, and he also scored at least 20 points for the third time over his last five appearances. During that stretch, Bridges is averaging 20.2 points, 8.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.
Dec 24, 2024
Three-point shooting woes continue
Bridges provided 24 points (9-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Monday's 114-101 loss to the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Bridges had a solid performance Monday and was one of the Hornets' top producers, as he stepped into the role of being the No. 2 option due to the absence of Brandon Miller (ankle). However, and as good as his stat line was, Bridges continues to struggle with his three-point shot. Over his last five appearances, Bridges is averaging 18.6 points per game while shooting just 16.1 percent from beyond the arc.
Dec 20, 2024
Struggles from deep
Bridges ended Thursday's 123-114 loss to the Wizards with 16 points (7-16 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds and three assists in 32 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Bridges played in this third straight game Thursday after missing an extended period due to a knee injury. The 26-year-old forward has had his playing time increase in each of his last three outings, indicating that he is working his way back toward a full workload. While Bridges is unlikely to match his season average of 37.4 minutes per contest from 2023-24, fantasy managers can expect him to play at least 30 minutes a night moving forward.
Dec 17, 2024
Drops team-high 24 in loss
Bridges ended Monday's 121-108 loss to Philadelphia with 24 points (10-19 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds and four assists in 28 minutes.
ANALYSIS
The 26-year-old forward led the Hornets in scoring in his second game back from a knee injury, producing his best points total since he popped for 27 against the Pistons on Nov. 6. Charlotte's starting five remains a revolving door -- LaMelo Ball returned from a calf injury Monday, only for Brandon Miller to leave in the fourth quarter with a sprained ankle. As long as Bridges can stay on the court though, he should be a centerpiece of the team's offense.
Dec 14, 2024
Serviceable performance in return
Bridges ended Friday's 109-95 loss to the Bulls with 14 points (5-16 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and one block in 25 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was eased back into action Friday, logging 25 minutes, during which time he fell just short of a double-double. His shooting left a lot to be desired, going just 5-of-16 from the field. However, given this was his first game since re-injuring his knee, it is certainly a good sign for his immediate playing future. Look for Bridges to play a little more when the Hornets host the 76ers on Monday.
Dec 13, 2024
Returning to action Friday
Bridges (knee) is available for Friday's game against the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
The Hornets will get a significant boost on both ends of the court with the return of some established rotation pieces Friday, but no return is bigger than Bridges'. The six-year veteran will step on the court for the first time since Nov. 19 and should handle his regular workload while starting at one of the forward spots.
Dec 12, 2024
Questionable for Friday
Bridges (knee) is questionable for Friday's game against the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
The questionable tag is a step in the right direction for Bridges, as the six-year veteran hasn't stepped on the court since Nov. 19 due to a nagging right knee injury. Bridges has started in each of his 11 appearances this season, averaging 16.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
Dec 8, 2024
Out again Sunday
Bridges (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges hasn't placed since Nov. 19. His next chance to suit up won't come until Friday's game in Chicago. With Tidjane Salaun (ankle) also sidelined, Josh Green and Cody Martin have seen increased roles.
Dec 6, 2024
Won't play Saturday against Cavs
Bridges (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Cleveland.
ANALYSIS
Bridges is set to miss his ninth straight game after aggravating a right knee injury. He has been cleared for individual on-court activity, but it's unclear what his exact timeline to return is. His next opportunity to play will be Sunday against the Pacers.
Dec 4, 2024
Absence to continue Thursday
Bridges (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against New York.
ANALYSIS
Bridges is amid a multi-week absence after aggravating a pre-existing right knee injury. Bridges began individual on-court activity at the end of November, but a concrete timeline to return has yet to be established.
Dec 2, 2024
Ruled out for Tuesday
Bridges (knee) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges will be sidelined for a seventh straight game due to a right knee injury. He's progressed to individual on-court activity, and his next opportunity to play will be Thursday against the Knicks. Tidjane Salaun is slated to start in his fifth straight game due to injuries to Bridges and Grant Williams (knee).
Nov 30, 2024
Will remain sidelined
Bridges (knee) will not play in Saturday's home game against the Hawks, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges' absence will mark his sixth straight. On the bright side, he was recently cleared to begin individual on-court activity and seemingly ramping things up for an eventual return to game action. His next opportunity to suit up will come Tuesday versus the 76ers. In his absence, rookie Tidjane Salaun figures to continue starting at power forward.
Nov 28, 2024
Out Friday
Bridges (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges is slated to miss a fifth straight game, but he has been cleared to begin individual on-court activity and is ramping up for a return to game action. He can also be considered doubtful for Saturday's game against the Hawks, barring a quick return to full-contact drills. Rookie Tidjane Salaun continues to start at power forward in Bridges' absence.
Nov 27, 2024
Makes next step in recovery
Charlotte announced Wednesday that Bridges (knee) has been cleared to begin individual on-court activity.
ANALYSIS
Bridges is listed as out for Wednesday's game against the Heat and remains without a target date to return, but he's trending in the right direction. Wednesday will be his fourth straight game on the shelf, and for now, the forward should be considered questionable at best for Friday's game against the Knicks.
Nov 26, 2024
Remains out
Bridges (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Miami.
ANALYSIS
Bridges is slated to miss a fourth straight game after aggravating a right knee injury. Charlotte's frontcourt remains depleted, so Tidjane Salaun, Josh Green, Cody Martin, Moussa Diabate and Taj Gibson should continue playing heavy minutes. Bridges' next chance to suit up will come Friday versus the Knicks, but that's the first half of a back-to-back set.
Nov 22, 2024
Will be re-evaluated in one week
Bridges is out for Saturday's game against the Bucks and will miss at least one more additional game, so he's also out for the Monday matchup against the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Bridges stepped on a foot late in the loss to the Nets on Tuesday, Nov. 19, and the contact reaggravated his previous right knee injury. As a result, Bridges, who already missed the win over the Pistons, will also miss the team's next two games and will be re-evaluated one week from the injury. That means the earliest he'll be eligible to return will be the Nov. 27 game against the Heat, though everything will depend on how he progresses in the coming days. The Hornets will probably remain with Moussa Diabate in the starting lineup as Bridges' replacement, a move that will slide Grant Williams to power forward.
Nov 21, 2024
Won't play Thursday
Bridges (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's matchup against the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Bridges is dealing with lingering left knee soreness and will miss his fourth contest of the season after playing through the issue in the club's last three outings. With the 26-year-old forward sidelined, Moussa Diabate and Tidjane Salaun are candidates for an uptick in playing time.
Nov 21, 2024
Downgraded to questionable
Bridges (knee) is questionable for Thursday's game versus the Pistons, Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has been downgraded from probable to questionable Thursday due to right knee soreness. If the 26-year-old forward is unable to suit up, Moussa Diabate and Tidjane Salaun are candidates to receive increased playing time.
Nov 20, 2024
Probable for Thursday
Bridges is probable for Thursday's game against the Pistons due to left knee soreness.
ANALYSIS
Bridges missed three straight games earlier in November due to a right knee injury, but it's his left knee bothering him now. Regardless, he's expected to suit up Thursday. Over his last three appearances, Bridges has averaged 19.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 29.0 minutes per game.
Nov 20, 2024
Scores 21 in Tuesday's loss
Bridges racked up 21 points (8-14 FG, 5-9 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists over 33 minutes during Tuesday's 116-115 loss to the Nets.
ANALYSIS
It was his biggest workload and best scoring effort in three games since returning to the lineup from a knee injury that cost him three contests, while the five made threes were a season high. Bridges is averaging 19.7 points, 6.0 boards, 4.3 assists, 4.0 threes and 1.0 steals since his return while shooting 50.0 percent from the floor and 50.0 percent (12-for-24) from beyond the arc.
Nov 18, 2024
Flirts with triple-double
Bridges closed Sunday's 128-114 loss to the Cavaliers with 19 points (7-15 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists, one block and two steals in 27 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Bridges put together yet another strong all-around performance and dished out a season-best eight assists in the loss. He's logged 27 minutes in two appearances since returning from a knee injury, so the club is evidently still capping his minutes in an effort to ease him back into action. Bridges averaged 30.4 minutes in his first eight games of the campaign and should be expected to regularly reach that threshold once his restriction is lifted.
Nov 17, 2024
Will play Sunday
Bridges (knee) is listed as available for Sunday's game against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was listed as questionable prior to being deemed availble for Sunday's game, though it's unclear whether he will operate under a minutes restriction. The 26-year-old forward was able to play in Saturday's win over Milwaukee, during which he posted 19 points (7-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one steal across 27 minutes.
Nov 17, 2024
Game-time decision Sunday
Bridges (knee), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cavaliers, will warm up with the intention of playing, Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports.
ANALYSIS
The club will monitor both LaMelo Ball (finger) and Bridges during warmups and decide if they will play closer to tipoff at 6:00 p.m. ET. If the 26-year-old forward is unable to give it a go, Tidjane Salaun and Moussa Diabate are candidates for increased roles.
Nov 17, 2024
Iffy for Sunday
Bridges is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cavaliers due to right knee injury management.
ANALYSIS
Bridges made his return Saturday versus the Bucks following a three-game absence due to a knee injury and posted 19 points (7-15 FG), seven rebounds, three assists and a steal in 27 minutes. If he's sidelined for the second half of Charlotte's back-to-back set, Tidjane Salaun and Moussa Diabate would be candidates for increased roles.
Nov 16, 2024
Scores 19 points in return
Bridges tallied 19 points (7-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one steal over 27 minutes in Saturday's 115-114 win over Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
Bridges returned Saturday from a three-game absence due to a bone bruise in his right knee. Though he played just 27 minutes, he managed to finish with the second-most points on the Hornets behind LaMelo Ball (26). Given his recent return, it's unclear whether Bridges will be available for the second leg of a back-to-back Sunday against the undefeated Cavaliers.
Nov 16, 2024
Good to go against Milwaukee
Bridges (knee) is available for Saturday's game versus the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has been upgraded from questionable to available despite being expected to miss at least two weeks due to a right knee bone bruise. The 26-year-old forward will likely reclaim his starting spot from Grant Williams against Milwaukee.
Nov 15, 2024
Upgraded to questionable vs. Bucks
Bridges (knee) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges' status comes as a surprise as he was originally scheduled to miss two weeks due to the bone bruise on his right knee, according to Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer. However, the 26-year-old's tag being upgraded to questionable suggests he is nearing a return to game action after missing the Hornets' last three matchups. Bridges will likely remain under a minutes restriction when he returns, and if he misses additional time Josh Green and Moussa Diabate will likely continue to see an uptick in playing time.
Nov 7, 2024
Will be re-evaluated in two weeks
Bridges will miss at least two weeks due to a bone bruise on his right knee, Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges hyperextended his knee in Wednesday's win over Detroit, though MRI results revealed a bone bruise that will sideline him for an extended period of time. In the 26-year-old forward's absence, Grant Williams (back) and Tidjane Salaun are candidates for an increased role in the frontcourt.
Nov 7, 2024
Won't play against Indiana
Bridges has been ruled out for Friday's game versus the Pacers due to a right knee hyperextension.
ANALYSIS
Bridges hyperextended his knee while contesting a Jaden Ivey layup Wednesday and will be forced to miss Friday's contest. In his absence, Grant Williams (back) and Tidjane Salaun are candidates to receive increased playing time. Bridges' next chance to suit up is Sunday's matchup with Philadelphia.
Nov 6, 2024
Leads all scorers in victory
Bridges (knee) closed with 27 points (8-14 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 9-9 FT), seven rebounds and two assists over 35 minutes during Wednesday's 108-107 win over the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Bridges finally found some rhythm on the offensive end, matching his season-high with 27 points. It was a welcome sight after he had shot poorly in each of the four previous games, logging a grand total of just 37 points in that span. Bridges appeared to suffer a hyperextended knee late in the game but was able to return. However, it is something to keep an eye on moving forward, just in case it causes him to pop up on the injury report.
Nov 2, 2024
Does little vs. Boston
Bridges finished with six points (2-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and two steals over 31 minutes during Saturday's 113-103 loss to the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
It was Bridges' lowest scoring output of the regular season Saturday as he attempted just six shots from the field. Part of that may have been due to the return of Brandon Miller in the starting lineup, but Bridges should be more involved in the Hornets' offense alongside Miller and LaMelo Ball. Bridges will look to get things right against the Timberwolves on Monday.
Nov 1, 2024
Ejected in final seconds
Bridges was ejected from Friday's loss to the Celtics in the final seconds after receiving two technical fouls, Sam Perley of the Hornets' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After a relatively tight contest against the reigning champions, the Hornets fell off the tracks late, with Bridges and Grant Williams getting ejected and LaMelo Ball also receiving a technical foul. Bridges finished the contest with 14 points (5-16 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and a steal in 31 minutes.
Oct 31, 2024
Struggles in win
Bridges finished with seven points (2-11 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one block over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 138-133 victory over the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Bridges had his worst game of the season Wednesday, failing to score double-digit points for the first time in four games. The 26-year-old forward's poor shooting night has dragged his field-goal percentage down to 39.6 percent and his three-point percentage down to 25.0 percent for the season.

Misses out on double-double
Bridges produced 10 points (5-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt), nine rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 110-105 win over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Despite missing all three of his three-point attempts, Bridges was Charlotte's third-leading scorer in Wednesday's victory. Bridges continues to be one of the NBA's best rebounders out of the forward position, as he has averaged at least seven boards per game over the last two seasons.
Oct 9, 2024
Near double-double vs. Miami
Bridges finished Tuesday's 111-108 win over the Heat with 14 points (5-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), nine rebounds and one assist over 20 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was the second-leading rebounder for the Hornets on Tuesday behind Moussa Diabate (10). Bridges signed a three-year, $75 million extension with the Hornets in July, and he's expected to build off a strong 2023-24 campaign, during which he averaged 21.0 points on 46.2 percent shooting, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 0.9 steals across 37.4 minutes per game.
Oct 2, 2024
Participating in camp
Bridges (wrist) was spotted going though Tuesday's practice to open training camp.
ANALYSIS
Bridges missed the Hornets' season finale April 14 with a wrist injury, but it was likely a precaution with the team having nothing to play for. Bridges has a fresh three-year, $75 million contract with the Hornets, though his usage rate could take a hit this season with LaMelo Ball healthy and Brandon Miller potentially ready for a larger role.
Jul 6, 2024
Staying in Charlotte
The Hornets re-signed Bridges (wrist) to a three-year, $75 million deal Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges will return to the Hornets after averaging a career-high 21.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists across 69 regular-season games. The 26-year-old also shot a career-high 6.5 attempts from deep in 2023-24 on 34.9 percent from range. Bridges missed the Hornets' final game with a wrist injury; however, he is expected to be ready for training camp.
Apr 15, 2024
Expected to be available for camp
Bridges (wrist) is expected to be ready in time for training camp, Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports.
ANALYSIS
This isn't a huge surprise, as Bridges' right wrist issue is considered minor. In fact, the Hornets were probably being extra cautious because they had nothing to play for at the end of the season. Bridges is set to hit the open market as a free agent and is likely to garner plenty of interest. In 71 appearances in 2023-24, Bridges averaged 21.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.3 three-pointers and 0.9 steals in 37.5 minutes.
Apr 14, 2024
Won't play Sunday
Bridges (wrist) has been ruled out for Sunday's regular-season finale versus Cleveland, Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges' season, and potentially tenure in Charlotte, come to an end with his inactive status Sunday. The impending free agency put forth valuable on-court production, delivering 21.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 69 games. A return to Charlotte is possible, but the 26-year-old will certainly test the market this offseason.
Apr 13, 2024
Now listed questionable
Bridges is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cavaliers with a right wrist injury.
ANALYSIS
Bridges wasn't on Charlotte's initial injury report, but now he and Brandon Miller (wrist) have both popped up on the report with questionable tags. If one or both players are forced to sit, the Hornets could turn to guys like Aleksej Pokusevski and Marques Bolden.
Apr 5, 2024
Available for Friday's game
Bridges (wrist) is available for Friday's game against the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was considered probable for Friday's matchup, and he'll officially be able to suit up against Orlando. Over his last five appearances, he's averaged 22.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 40.6 minutes per game.
Apr 4, 2024
Probable for Friday
Bridges (wrist) is probable for Friday's game against Orlando.
ANALYSIS
Bridges missed Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers due to a right wrist contusion, but he'll likely be able to return to the court following a one-game absence. He's topped 20 points in each of his last three appearances, averaging 27.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 41.3 minutes per game.
Apr 3, 2024
Downgraded to out
Bridges (wrist) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Portland.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Bridges has been downgraded from doubtful to out and will join Nick Richards (foot) on the sidelines. Davis Bertans, Aleksej Pokusevski, Leaky Black and JT Thor are candidates for increased roles in the frontcourt, while Bridges' next chance to suit up will come Friday against Orlando.
Apr 3, 2024
Unlikely to play
Bridges (wrist) is doubtful for Wednesday's game against Portland.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has been downgraded from questionable to doubtful, while Brandon Miller (wrist) and Grant Williams (ankle) have been upgraded to probable. Nick Richards (foot) is out, so Charlotte's frontcourt is expected to be shorthanded, opening up more minutes for Davis Bertans, Aleksej Pokusevski, Leaky Black and JT Thor.
Apr 2, 2024
Dealing with wrist contusion
Bridges is questionable for Wednesday's game against Portland due to a right wrist contusion.
ANALYSIS
Bridges is joined by Brandon Miller (right wrist sprain) and Grant Williams (right ankle sprain) as questionable for Wednesday's contest. Bridges is at risk of missing his first contest since Dec. 18.
Apr 1, 2024
Near triple-double vs. Boston
Bridges closed with 26 points (10-23 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 11 rebounds and eight assists across 43 minutes during Monday's 118-104 loss to the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was two assists shy of registering his first triple-double of his five-year career. He's scored 20-plus points in three straight games, and he has led the Hornets in scoring in four of the last six games. Since March 1, Bridges is averaging 21.6 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists over 39.3 minutes per game.
Apr 1, 2024
Goes for team-high 33 points
Bridges logged 33 points (11-20 FG, 7-14 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds and three assists over 43 minutes during Sunday's 130-118 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges reached the 30-point mark for the first time since March 8, when he delivered a 32-point effort in a road loss to the Wizards. He's been sharing much of the scoring load with Brandon Miller, and his overall numbers have been solid. Bridges is averaging 20.8 points per game since the All-Star break while also riding a streak of 12 straight appearances scoring 13 or more points.
Mar 29, 2024
Near double-double vs. Warriors
Bridges recorded 22 points (8-17 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 5-7 FT), nine rebounds and three assists over 38 minutes during Friday's 115-97 loss to the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was one rebound shy of registering his 19th double-double of the season Friday. He led the Hornets in scoring for the seventh time in March, though he did struggle from three and finished Friday's game with a game-worst minus-20 point differential. Bridges is averaging 20.5 points on 46.0 percent shooting, 7.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists over 38.8 minutes per game in March.
Mar 24, 2024
Scores 27 points in big loss
Bridges recorded 27 points (11-19 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-3 FT), five rebounds and two blocks in 37 minutes during Saturday's 132-91 loss to the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was coming off three straight games in which he couldn't reach the 20-point mark, but he bounced back admirably here and was remarkably efficient from the field, but his contributions didn't help Charlotte in what turned out to be a very one-sided loss. Bridges remains one of the few bright spots in an anemic Charlotte offense, averaging 21.7 points per game since the beginning of March.
Mar 16, 2024
Records double-double
Bridges posted 17 points (6-18 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 10 rebounds and three assists over 38 minutes during Friday's 107-96 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Bridges is known for his scoring ability, but he's been getting the job done on the glass as well, and he's recorded three double-doubles over his last five appearances. In a Hornets team that got dismantled following the trade deadline and that is also missing key players due to injuries, Bridges profiles as the team's most reliable fantasy contributor. He's averaging 22.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 0.8 steals per game since the beginning of March.
Mar 9, 2024
Explodes for 32-point double-double
Bridges recorded 32 points (13-27 FG, 1-10 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and one block in 41 minutes during Friday's 112-100 loss to the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was limited in the 101-89 loss to Orlando on Tuesday due to a minor wrist injury, but it seems that didn't affect him in this game, as he posted one of his best scoring performances of the season. Firmly entrenched as Charlotte's primary offensive alternative ahead of Brandon Miller, Bridges is having an excellent season. He's averaging 20.1 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game since the end of the All-Star break.
Mar 5, 2024
Tweaks wrist, but will return
Bridges suffered a right wrist contusion during the third quarter of Tuesday's game versus Orlando, but he's available to return.
ANALYSIS
Bridges looked to be in a lot of pain initially and went to the locker room to be evaluated, but the Hornets quickly made the announcement that he was good to return.
Mar 4, 2024
Hits for 20 in loss to Toronto
Bridges notched 20 points (9-19 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 40 minutes during Sunday's 111-106 loss to the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
The 25-year-old forward continues to make a bigger impact on the glass for a Hornets team that's dealing with some frontcourt injuries. Over the last nine games, Bridges is averaging 19.9 points, 9.2 boards, 3.1 assists, 2.3 threes and 1.1 steals, racking up six double-doubles along the way.
Mar 2, 2024
Records another double-double
Bridges posted 27 points (10-18 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds and two assists across 39 minutes during Friday's 121-114 loss to Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has been on a tear of late, and there's a strong argument to say he's been Charlotte's best player in recent weeks, even ahead of Brandon Miller. Bridges has recorded five double-doubles across six games since the return of the league following the All-Star break, averaging 20.3 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game in that span.
Mar 1, 2024
Double-double against Milwaukee
Bridges ended with 15 points (6-18 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 10 rebounds and three assists in 39 minutes during Thursday's 111-99 loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
It was the 14th double-double of the season for Bridges, leaving him one short of the career-high 15 he set in 2021-22. The 25-year-old forward could be sorry to see February end -- over his last 12 games, Bridges has averaged 22.8 points, 7.3 boards, 3.7 assists, 2.7 threes and 0.9 steals.
Feb 28, 2024
Poor shooting display Tuesday
Bridges produced 17 points (6-15 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds and two steals over 37 minutes during Tuesday's 123-85 loss to Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
Bridges didn't have his best shooting performance Tuesday, and his shooting woes played a big role in the team's overall struggles, as the Hornets scored just 85 total points. Despite the subpar performance, Bridges remains a strong play in most formats as one of Charlotte's primary offensive weapons. Over his last 10 games, he's averaging 23.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.1 steals per contest.
Feb 24, 2024
Leads team with 19 points in loss
Bridges logged 19 points (8-18 FG, 3-7 3Pt), 11 rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals over 41 minutes during Friday's 97-84 loss to Golden State.
ANALYSIS
Although the Hornets are slowly getting back to full health, Bridges as carried the load for the team frequently. He put up his second consecutive double-double in the win, and should remain a high-profile fantasy option despite the poor fortunes of the squad. LaMelo Ball's (ankle) return is imminent, but Bridges' production will not be adversely affected.
Feb 23, 2024
Big double-double in Utah
Bridges accumulated 26 points (10-20 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 14 rebounds and four assists across 40 minutes during Thursday's 115-107 win over the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
The 25-year-old forward led all scorers on the night, recording his second double-double in the last three games and 11th of the season. Bridges has been locked in since early in February, draining multiple threes in six of the last seven games and averaging 26.4 points, 6.9 boards, 4.9 assists, 3.3 threes and 0.9 steals over that stretch while shooting 53.0 percent from the floor and 48.9 percent from long distance.

Criminal charges dropped
The State of North Carolina dropped three criminal charges of a domestic violence protective order violation, misdemeanor child abuse and injury to personal property against Bridges on Tuesday due to a "lack of sufficient evidence", Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
These criminal charges relate to an incident on Oct. 6, when Bridges is alleged to have thrown billiard balls at his former girlfriend's vehicle while their two children were inside, causing damage to the windshield and leaving dents in the car. Bridges previously served the final 10 games of a 30-game suspension to start the 2023-24 season after sitting out all of 2022-23 due to a felony domestic violence charge stemming from a June 2022 arrest.
Feb 13, 2024
Posts 11th double-double of season
Bridges notched 20 points (9-17 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 10 rebounds, seven assists and three steals across 39 minutes during Monday's 111-102 victory over the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Across Bridges' 11 double-doubles this season, the 25-year-old is averaging 22.0 points and 10.9 rebounds in 38.8 minutes per game -- constituting an awesome fantasy ceiling for the two-way forward. He is a boom candidate Wednesday against a porous Atlanta defense that is lacking Clint Capela (groin).
Feb 8, 2024
Establishes new career-high mark
Bridges logged 45 points (17-27 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 5-7 FT), eight rebounds and seven assists in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 123-117 loss to the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Bridges registered 41 points (16-26 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT) against the Lakers on Monday, but that new career-high mark lasted just two days after the small forward bested himself with another impressive outing. However, just like it happened against the Lakers, he didn't get enough help from the rest of the lineup, and the Hornets once again had to settle for a loss. Bridges is having the best campaign of his career and has scored 20-plus points in all but two of his last 12 games, a span in which he's averaging 25.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.
Feb 6, 2024
Erupts for career-high 41
Bridges registered 41 points (16-26 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and four assists across 40 minutes during Monday's 124-118 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
It was a career-best scoring effort for the 25-year-old forward, but he didn't get enough help from the rest of the Hornets' roster aside from Brandon Miller (33 points). Bridges is steaming toward the best campaign of his career and has scored 20-plus points in nine of the last 11 games, averaging 23.5 points, 7.6 boards, 3.6 assist, 2.9 threes, 0.9 steals and 0.8 blocks over that stretch while shooting 40.0 percent from beyond the arc.
Feb 5, 2024
Hits for 19 in Sunday's loss
Bridges amassed 19 points (8-23 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one block in 38 minutes during Sunday's 115-99 loss to Indiana.
ANALYSIS
After failing to score in double digits Friday for the first time since Dec. 16, Bridges bounced right back against the Pacers. Since the beginning of January, the 25-year-old forward is averaging 22.2 points, 7.7 boards, 3.4 assists, 2.7 threes and 0.9 steals while shooting 40.2 percent from long distance.
Feb 1, 2024
Huge double-double against Bulls
Bridges contributed 30 points (11-20 FG, 6-13 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 15 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and one steal across 41 minutes during Wednesday's 117-110 loss to Chicago.
ANALYSIS
The 15 boards tied his season high, while the 30 points were his best scoring effort since he dropped 33 on the Wizards on Nov. 22. Bridges has four double-doubles in the last seven games, and through 16 contests in January he averaged an impressive 23.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.9 threes, 1.0 steals and 0.8 blocks while shooting 41.2 percent from beyond the arc.
Jan 31, 2024
Officially cleared to play
Bridges (elbow) is available for Wednesday's game against the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was probable for Wednesday's matchup due to a left elbow contusion, and he'll unsurprisingly be able to suit up against Chicago. He's posted double-doubles in three of his last six appearances, averaging 22.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals in 39.5 minutes per game during that time.
Jan 30, 2024
Tagged as probable
Bridges is listed as probable for Wednesday's game against Chicago due to a left elbow contusion.
ANALYSIS
Bridges logged a full workload in Monday's loss the Knicks, posting 21 points and 10 rebounds and 39 minutes, and he has averaged a monstrous 39.4 minutes across his past seven games. Nonetheless, he is on track for Wednesday, and his trend of large usage would likely continue since LaMelo Ball (ankle) is doubtful to play.
Jan 30, 2024
Double-doubles in loss
Bridges logged 21 points (10-20 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals across 39 minutes during Monday's 113-92 loss to the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
This was the eighth double-double of the season for Bridges. He's been one of Charlotte's most impactful players, posting averages of 22.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.7 three-pointers in January while shooting 48.5 percent from the field and 40.6 percent from beyond the arc.
Jan 27, 2024
Leads Hornets in scoring Friday
Bridges recorded 21 points (7-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one steal across 36 minutes during Friday's 138-104 loss to the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has scored 20-plus points in five straight games and has reached that mark in 11 of his last 13 games. He's averaging 23.0 points on 48.9 percent shooting (including 42.5 percent from three on 6.7 attempts), 7.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists across 37.9 minutes per game in January.
Jan 25, 2024
Double-double in Detroit
Bridges finished with 20 points (7-21 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals across 41 minutes during Wednesday's 113-106 loss to the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
The double-double was his second in three games and seventh of the season in 31 contests. Bridges is putting together an impressive January, scoring 20 or more points in 10 of 12 games while averaging 23.2 points, 7.2 boards, 2.9 assists, 2.9 threes and 0,8 steals while shooting 42.2 percent from beyond the arc.
Jan 23, 2024
Scores team-high 28 points
Bridges closed with 28 points (10-23 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal across 40 minutes during Monday's 128-125 victory over the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Bridges scored at least 20 points for the ninth time in the past 11 games, leading the Hornets to an improbable victory. Despite trailing coming into the fourth quarter, the Hornets rallied late, led by Bridges. He has been a borderline top-50 player this season, averaging 20.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.3 three-pointers. Despite the Hornets' poor record, Bridges appears locked in for a major role moving forward.
Jan 21, 2024
Records double-double in loss
Bridges supplied 25 points (9-22 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and one block across 40 minutes during Saturday's 97-89 loss to the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has been Charlotte's best player this season by a wide margin, and not even the return of LaMelo Ball, who missed Saturday's contest with an ankle problem, has generated a decrease in his figures, particularly in the scoring column. Bridges has scored 20 or more points in eight of his 10 appearances this month, averaging 23.0 points while shooting 50.6 percent from the field in that stretch.
Jan 19, 2024
Plays game-high 39 minutes Friday
Bridges produced 23 points (10-15 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one block over 39 minutes during Friday's 124-120 victory over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Bridges continues to log heavy minutes for the Hornets and came into Friday's contest averaging 36.6 minutes per game, which ranks sixth in the NBA. Bridges has had a strong start to the new year and is averaging 22.8 points on 50.6 percent shooting (including 42.3 percent from three), 6.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists over 37.1 minutes per game in January.
Jan 18, 2024
Productive on offense once again
Bridges ended Wednesday's 132-112 loss to New Orleans with 19 points (8-20 FG, 3-7 3Pt), four rebounds and three assists across 35 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Bridges couldn't hit the 20-point mark Wednesday, but it's worth noting he's reached that mark in six of his eight outings this month. The return of LaMelo Ball will reduce Bridges' touches on offense, but he should remain a valuable offensive weapon for a struggling Charlotte team. He's averaging 22.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game while shooting 42.3 percent from three-point range in January.
Jan 15, 2024
Reaches 20 points in defeat
Bridges totaled 20 points (8-17 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal across 38 minutes during Sunday's 104-87 loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Bridges ended as one of three Hornets with 20 or more points while ending three boards short of a double-double in a losing effort. Bridges has tallied at least 20 points and seven rebounds in 10 games this season, having scored 20 or more points in eight of his last 10 games.
Jan 13, 2024
Scores 14 points with 13 shots
Bridges closed Friday's 135-99 loss to the Spurs with 14 points (4-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), nine rebounds and one steal across 33 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was one of the few Charlotte players who managed to score in double digits in what was a woeful offensive showing from the Hornets, and he still struggled badly from the field compared to what he'd been doing in recent games. Despite the overall struggles, Bridges should remain one of Charlotte's go-to players on offense, and as long as he remains available and healthy, he should have a decent impact in most formats. He's averaging 21.7 points per game over his last 10 appearances while reaching the 20-point mark eight times in that stretch.
Jan 11, 2024
Needs 21 shots to score 24 points
Bridges registered 24 points (10-21 FG, 4-8 3Pt), seven rebounds, six assists and one steal across 34 minutes during Wednesday's 123-98 loss to the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Bridges didn't have a good shooting performance Wednesday, but the lack of efficiency didn't prevent him from delivering a solid stat line. Bridges has been one of Charlotte's most reliable fantasy performers in recent weeks, hitting the 20-point plateau in five consecutive games and eight of his last nine appearances. He's averaging 22.6 points per game in that nine-game stretch.
Jan 9, 2024
Pops for 24 in OT loss
Bridges posted 24 points (9-18 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal over 40 minutes during Monday's 119-112 overtime loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
The 25-year-old forward has scored 20 or more points in seven of the last eight games, averaging 22.4 points, 7.1 boards, 4.1 assists, 2.9 threes, 1.3 blocks and 0,8 steals over that stretch. Bridges has shown remarkably little rust since his lengthy suspension was lifted, and the Hornets' offense could be about to get a boost as LaMelo Ball (ankle) nears his return.
Jan 6, 2024
Impressive despite defeat
Bridges notched 28 points (12-18 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds and two assists across 42 minutes during Friday's 104-91 loss to Chicago.
ANALYSIS
The Hornets have endured a fair share of struggles on offense this season, but Bridges has consistently been a bright spot on that end of the court since he made his regular-season debut on Nov. 17. He's been particularly impressive of late, as he's riding a three-game streak with 25 or more points, and he has reached the 20-point mark in six of his last seven outings. Expect him to remain a prominent offensive piece when the Hornets play a rematch with the Bulls on Monday, though Charlotte will be at home this time.
Jan 3, 2024
Drops 27 points in victory
Bridges ended with 27 points (9-18 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 40 minutes during Tuesday's 111-104 win over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Bridges finished as Charlotte's second-leading scorer Tuesday, trailing only Terry Rozier, who put up 34 points. This was the fifth time over his past six games that Bridges has hit the 20-point mark, and he's been unusually productive as a shot blocker over that span as well, averaging 1.3 swats. It's unlikely that he'll keep up the block numbers given that he's never averaged more than 0.8 swats in a season, but Bridges offers plenty for fantasy managers to be excited about, as he's averaging 20.0 points, 7.1 boards, 3.0 assists, 2.0 triples and 1.2 thefts over 21 contests this season.
Jan 2, 2024
Leads skeleton crew
Bridges produced 26 points (10-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-5 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Monday's 111-93 loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Bridges posted a game-high 26 points while Charlotte operated without Terry Rozier (illness) in addition to ongoing absences from Gordon Hayward (calf), Mark Williams (back) and LaMelo Ball (ankle). Bridges entered Monday's contest shooting 34.1 percent from the field and 25.6 percent from deep over his last four games, so his efficient showing -- despite being a defensive focal point -- was impressive.
Dec 29, 2023
Team-high 20 in loss
Bridges registered 20 points (7-20 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one block across 33 minutes during Thursday's 133-112 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
The 25-year-old forward led the Hornets in scoring as he popped for at least 20 points for the third straight game. Bridges is averaging 19.5 points, 6.8 boards, 2.8 assists, 2.0 threes and 1.3 steals through 11 games in December, but the rust from his lengthy absence is showing as he's shooting just 41.6 percent from the floor and 26.8 percent (22-for-82) from three-point range during that time.
Dec 27, 2023
Records double-double in loss
Bridges closed with 21 points (9-23 FG, 3-10 3Pt), 11 rebounds, five assists and two blocks across 38 minutes during Tuesday's 113-104 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Birdges notched his fifth double-double of the season, and he continues to prop up the Hornets as they continue on without LaMelo Ball (ankle). A slight downturn may be in store for Bridges once Ball returns, and he may be back in the lineup as early as this weekend. Still, Bridges will continue to make an impact at the four and provide multi-category contribution.
Dec 23, 2023
Nears double-double as top scorer
Bridges racked up 22 points (8-23 FG, 2-12 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, three blocks and two steals over 38 minutes during Saturday's 102-95 loss to Denver.
ANALYSIS
Bridges led all Hornets in scoring while ending two rebounds short of a double-double along with a trio of blocks and a pair of steals in a well-rounded performance. Bridges has tallied 20 or more points in seven games this season, adding eight or more rebounds in five of those outings.
Dec 21, 2023
Solid outing against Indiana
Bridges recorded 19 points (8-17 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists and three steals over 37 minutes during Wednesday's 144-113 loss to Indiana.
ANALYSIS
Bridges returned to action Wednesday after missing Monday's contest against the Raptors, as he was denied entry to Canada due to his current legal situation. The 25-year-old forward tied his second high with three steals and was Charlotte's third-leading scorer.
Dec 18, 2023
Ruled out for Monday
Bridges (not injury related) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Toronto.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was considered unlikely to play Monday after he was denied entry into Canada due to his current legal situation. While the Hornets attempted to overturn the decision, they were unable to, and Bridges will be unavailable for the first time since returning from his 10-game suspension to begin the season. JT Thor and Nick Richards could see increased run against the Raptors, while Bridges should be available for Wednesday's game against Indiana.
Dec 18, 2023
Unlikely to play Monday
Bridges (not injury related) is unlikely to play Monday in Toronto, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was denied entry into Canada due to his current legal situation, and the Hornets are attempting to reverse the decision, but it doesn't look like that'll happen before Monday's 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff. LaMelo Ball (ankle) remains out, Mark Williams (back) is doubtful and P.J. Washington (shoulder) and Gordon Hayward (illness) are questionable, so the Hornets may be extremely shorthanded versus Toronto. Bridges sat out the entire 2022-23 campaign and the first 10 games of this season due to a domestic violence case that occurred in June of 2022. He was reinstated by the NBA in mid-November, but he has a court date Feb. 20 for allegedly violating a protection order related to the incident.
Dec 18, 2023
Status for Monday in doubt
Bridges was denied entry into Canada due to his current legal situation, so his status for Monday's game versus the Raptors is in doubt, but the Hornets are attempting to get the decision reversed, Kyle Bailey of WFNZ Sports Radio reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges sat out the entire 2022-23 campaign and the first 10 games of this season due to a domestic violence case that occurred in June of 2022. He was reinstated by the NBA in mid-November, but he has a court date Feb. 20 for allegedly violating a protection order related to the incident. Bridges has been performing well since making his season debut Nov. 17, averaging 19.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.4 steals in 36.1 minutes over 14 appearances (12 starts), so his potential absence would leave a big hole in Charlotte's rotation Monday, especially given LaMelo Ball (ankle) is still out, Mark Williams (back) is doubtful and P.J. Washington (shoulder) and Gordon Hayward (illness) are questionable.
Dec 14, 2023
Displays two-way play in defeat
Bridges notched 19 points (9-19 FG, 1-8 3Pt), five rebounds, four assists and three steals over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 115-104 loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Bridges had a well-rounded showing while finishing second on the team in assists and steals to go along with a handful or rebounds and ending one point short of the 20-point mark. Bridges has posted at least 15 points, five rebounds and two steals in three of his last four outings.
Dec 9, 2023
Nears double-double in victory
Bridges closed with 22 points (8-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and two steals over 38 minutes during Friday's 119-116 victory over the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Bridges led all Hornets in rebounds while notching a team-high-tying steals total and finishing as one of four players with 20 or more points in a winning effort. Bridges has surpassed the 20-point mark in five games this season, posting at least 15 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals in two straight contests.
Nov 27, 2023
Double-doubles in loss
Bridges posted 23 points (9-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 37 minutes during Sunday's 130-117 loss to Orlando.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has fared well since returning to the lineup for Charlotte. In five total appearances, he's averaging 21.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.8 three-pointers. He's posting third-round value in nine-category leagues in that span, and the Hornets may need him to soak up even more usage if LaMelo Ball misses time with his ankle injury.
Nov 23, 2023
Posts another double-double
Bridges contributed 33 points (11-18 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 10 rebounds and two steals across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 117-114 victory over the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was eased into action as a reserve over his first two appearances of the season, but he's started in the last two matchups and has posted back-to-back double-doubles. He's now averaging 20.8 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 26.8 minutes per game this year.
Nov 21, 2023
Double-doubles in start
Bridges had 14 points (3-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 15 rebounds, five assists and one steal over 45 minutes during Monday's 121-118 overtime win over the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Bridges moved into the starting lineup Monday, ending with his first double-double of the season. Despite having played only two games this season, Bridges was handed an opening spot. Poor shooting aside, it was another productive night, continuing his rapid start. Given his presumed role moving forward, there is no way Bridges should be available in any leagues right now.
Nov 20, 2023
Will start Monday
Bridges will start Monday's matchup against the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Bridges made his season debut Nov. 17 following a 10-game suspension due to a domestic violence incident. He came off the bench in his first two appearances of the year but played starter-level minutes, averaging 18.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals in 32.5 minutes per game. It was only a matter of time before he reclaimed his starting spot over P.J. Washington, though the move shouldn't significantly impact Bridges' playing time.
Nov 18, 2023
Drops 17 in season debut
Bridges amassed 17 points (6-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, four assists and two steals across 33 minutes off the bench during Friday's 130-99 loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
His suspension over, Bridges saw his first regular-season action since April 2021 and made his season debut for the Hornets on the second unit. He saw a full workload though, and the 25-year-old forward was the team's second-leading scorer behind LaMelo Ball (37 points). P.J. Washington has been erratic lately as Charlotte's starting power forward -- over the last 10 days, he's erupted for 32 points against the Heat on Tuesday but scored a total of just 32 points in his other four games combined while shooting 29.7 percent from the floor -- while Gordon Hayward has had his usual trouble staying healthy and effective and 2023 second overall pick Brandon Miller has been pushing for a bigger role, so with Bridges back in the mix as well, there could be big changes coming in the frontcourt for the 3-8 Hornets.
Nov 17, 2023
Slated to come off bench Friday
Bridges won't start Friday's game against the Bucks, Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges, who sat out the entire 2022-23 campaign and the first 10 games of this season due to a domestic violence case, is cleared to suit up for the first time since 2021-22. He started all 80 of his appearances in 2021-22, averaging 20.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.9 made three-pointers and 1.7 steals-plus blocks in 35.5 minutes per game, but it looks like he'll be eased back into the rotation as a sixth man. Coach Steve Clifford previously said Bridges would play a significant role, so a move into the starting lineup could happen eventually. With that said, Bridges still has a court date Feb. 20 for allegedly violation a protection order related to the domestic violence incident that caused his hiatus from the NBA, so further discipline could come later in the campaign.
Nov 16, 2023
Set to return Friday
Bridges is eligible to return to the Hornets' active roster for Friday's contest versus the Bucks after serving his 30-game suspension, Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges sat out the entire 2022-23 campaign and the first 10 games of this season due to a domestic violence case involving the mother of his two children. While there are still ongoing court procedures, Bridges has been cleared to play, starting with Friday's contest. The 25-year-old forward started in all 80 of his appearances in 2021-22 but could be eased back into the rotation upon his return.
Nov 12, 2023
Will step into large role
Bridges will have a significant role immediately upon his return to the lineup, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges is eligible to return from a 30-game suspension Friday against Milwaukee. He could struggle acclimating to game speed after missing over a full calendar year, but he'll return as a key contributor after averaging 20.2 points and 7.0 rebounds on 49.1 percent shooting across 80 games in 2021-22.
Oct 12, 2023
Issued criminal summons
A criminal summons was issued Wednesday for Bridges (suspension) for violating a domestic violence protective order, misdemeanor child abuse and injury to personal property, Baxter Holmes of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
According to the copy of the summons that Holmes obtained, the incident in question occurred Oct. 6, when Bridges is alleged to have thrown billiard balls at his former girlfriend's vehicle while their two children were inside, causing damage to the windshield and leaving dents in the car. A hearing pertaining to the matter is scheduled for Nov. 13, four days before Bridges would be eligible to make his 2023-24 debut after he serves the final 10 games of a 30-game suspension he received from the NBA following him pleading no contest last November to a felony domestic violence charge stemming from a June 2022 arrest. Bridges, who sat out the entire 2022-23 season, became a restricted free agent this summer and accepted a $7.9 million qualifying offer to stay with the Hornets. Per the terms of his suspension, Bridges is unable to play in preseason games, and in light of the criminal summons, he may not be available for the Hornets when he's first eligible to return from the suspension Nov. 17 versus Milwaukee.
Oct 8, 2023
Officially ineligible for preseason
Bridges will not be active for Charlotte's preseason contests as a component of his suspension, reports Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer.
ANALYSIS
Bridges will miss the first 10 games of the regular season due to his league-mandated suspension. The 25-year-old will still be able to accompany Charlotte on road trips and practice with the team.
Jul 2, 2023
Preparing to sign one-year deal
Bridges (suspension) is preparing to sign a one-year, $7.9 million qualifying offer from the Hornets for the 2023-24 season, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges will be suspended for the first 10 games of the 2023-24 season due to a felony domestic violence charge he pleaded no contest to last November. The one-year deal will allow the 2018 No. 12 overall pick to reestablish himself in the league before hitting the open market as an unrestricted free agent next summer. Bridges averaged career-highs in points (20.2), rebounds (7.0) and assists (3.8) per game during the 2021-22 campaign but hasn't played competitive basketball since, so he may have to shake of some rust next season.
Jun 28, 2023
Officially a restricted free agent
Bridges (suspension) is officially a restricted free agent after Charlotte extended him a qualifying offer Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Last November, Bridges pleaded no contest to a felony domestic violence charge and was given three years probation but no jail time. The NBA suspended the forward in April for 30 games, with 20 games considered already served given he sat out the entire 2022-23 campaign, so he'll have to miss the first 10 games of next season, regardless of where he ends up in free agency. Bridges' recent legal troubles may turn some teams away this summer, but the 2018 No. 12 overall pick posted career-high numbers in 2021-22, averaging 20.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.
Apr 14, 2023
Suspended for 10 games
The NBA suspended Bridges on Friday for 30 games, with 20 games considered already served, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges, who's currently a free agent after sitting out the entire 2022-23 season, will be suspended for the first 10 games of the 2023-24 campaign due a felony domestic violence charge he pleaded no contest to in November of last year. The 2018 first-round pick was reportedly discussing a new contract with the Hornets in December, but he never inked a deal. His recent legal troubles may limit his overall attention in free agency this offseason, but he posted career-high numbers in 2021-22, averaging 20.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists.
Dec 23, 2022
Contract talks gaining traction
Bridges and the Hornets are "gathering traction" in discussions for a new contract, with optimism that an agreement could occur in the relatively near future, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
In November, Bridges pleaded no contest in Los Angeles Superior Court to a felony domestic violence charge, resulting in three years probation and no jail time. If the forward indeed re-ups with Charlotte, the expectation is that the league office will hand him a suspension for a yet-to-be-determined length of time. If no deal occurs, he'll remain a restricted free agent next offseason. The 8-24 Hornets are clearly missing Bridges' production. He's coming off the best season of his career, averaging 20.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists.
Nov 3, 2022
Pleads no contest, no jail time
Bridges plead no contest Thursday to a felony domestic violence charge and will face three years probation and no jail time as part of a deal with prosecutors, Baxter Holmes of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
If Bridges signs with a team, the NBA has the right to suspend, fine, dismiss or disqualify him from any further association with the league. The Hornets hold his restricted free agency rights, as the organization extended him a qualifying offer.
Oct 12, 2022
Case continued to Oct. 17
Bridges' domestic violence case was continued Wednesday until Oct. 17, Baxter Holmes of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Back in July, Bridges pled not guilty to domestic violence charges, and the legal process is still ongoing. At this point, the ultimate outcome is very much unclear, and it remains to be seen if he'll return to playing in the NBA at some point in the future. The Hornets did retain Bridges' rights via extending him a qualifying offer over the summer.
Sep 30, 2022
Case extended
Bridges had his case for domestic violence and child abuse continued until Oct. 7, Joe Vardon of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges' future in the NBA is uncertain. While the Hornets retain his rights after extending him a qualifying offer, he will have to wait until his ongoing case is resolved before any further action will be taken.
Sep 30, 2022
Case extended
Bridges had his case for domestic violence and child abuse continued until Oct. 7, Joe Vardon of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges' future in the NBA is uncertain. While the Hornets do retain his rights after extending him a qualifying offer, he will have to wait until his ongoing case is resolved before any further action will be taken.
Jul 19, 2022
Felony charges filed
Bridges has been formally charged with felony domestic violence and child abuse, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Due to the significance of the charges, it appears incredibly unlikely that Bridges will be available for the 2022-2023 season, if he returns to basketball at all. The 24-year-old is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Jun 30, 2022
Arrested for domestic violence
Bridges was arrested Wednesday for felony domestic violence, Malika Andrews of ESPN.com reports. The Hornets released a statement noting that the organization is aware of the situation and is gathering additional information.
ANALYSIS
Given the seriousness of the situation, it's possible that Bridges -- a restricted free agent -- could miss time next season. Even if he doesn't have to sit out due to legal ramifications, the league office could issue a suspension.
Apr 13, 2022
Ejected Wednesday
Bridges was ejected during the fourth quarter of Wednesday's game against the Hawks, Brad Rowland of PeachtreeHoops.com reports.
ANALYSIS
With the Hornets trailing by nearly 30 points late in the fourth quarter, Bridges argued a goaltending call, received a technical foul and was subsequently ejected. He finished the game with 12 points, four rebounds, four assists and one block in 30 minutes of action.
Apr 9, 2022
Goes for 20 against Bulls
Bridges amassed 20 points (8-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one block in 29 minutes during Friday's 133-117 victory over the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has scored at least 20 points in seven of his last eight games and is ending the season on a strong note while operating as Charlotte's second-best scoring weapon behind star guard LaMelo Ball. The former first-round pick is averaging 22.1 points per game while shooting 54.2 percent from the field over his last 10 appearances.
Apr 6, 2022
Scores team-high 29 points
Bridges recorded 29 points (11-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 144-115 loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was efficient from the field en route to his sixth straight 20-plus point outing. During that stretch, the fourth-year forward has averaged 26.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 34.8 minutes per game. He'll look to maintain his strong play Thursday against the Magic.
Mar 29, 2022
Scores team-high 27 points
Bridges racked up 27 points (12-22 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 36 minutes during Monday's 113-109 loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Bridges carried the Hornets offensively in this loss and could've posted even higher scoring figures hadn't he struggled so much from deep -- he nailed just two of his 10 attempts from deep. This was his third game with at least 24 points, and in fact, he's scored 15 or more points in 11 games in a row -- he's averaging 22.6 points per tilt while shooting 52.6 percent from the field and 40.8 percent from three-point range in that span.
Mar 26, 2022
Double-doubles in win
Bridges ended Friday's 107-101 win over the Jazz with 26 points (9-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists and one block over 36 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Bridges scored a team-high 26 points and grabbed 11 boards en route to his 13th double-double of the campaign. Over his last nine contests, the fourth-year forward has averaged 22.0 points, 5.9 rebounds and 5.2 assists in 33.7 minutes per game.
Mar 24, 2022
Hands out nine dimes
Bridges supplied 15 points (7-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, nine assists, one block and two steals across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 121-106 loss to the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges ended just one assist shy of ending with a double-double thanks to his impressive effort as a playmaker. He's now scored at least 15 points in each of his last eight contests.
Mar 21, 2022
Puts forth strong final line
Bridges contributed 16 points (6-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, five assists and one steal over 35 minutes during Monday's 106-103 win over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has been a solid presence offensively for the Hornets of late, falling just one point shy of the team lead in points Monday night. While he failed to do so against New Orleans, he's put up 20-plus points in four of his last seven matchups and continues to stuff the box score by crashing the glass and distributing the basketball.
Mar 19, 2022
Leads Hornets to big win
Bridges provided 23 points (7-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 30 minutes during Saturday's 129-108 win over Dallas.
ANALYSIS
The Hornets had a balanced attack Saturday, with five different players scoring at least 17 points and sinking at least three three-pointers, but Bridges led the charge. The 23-year-old has scored in double digits in 13 straight games, averaging 21.5 points, 7.2 boards, 4.8 assists and 2.4 threes over that stretch.
Mar 17, 2022
Solid overall performance
Bridges contributed 18 points (6-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, six assists and two blocks in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 116-106 win over the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has now scored in double figures in 12 consecutive games and continues to impact the game in a variety of ways. He's averaging 20.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 36.1 minutes per game and has been one of the most consistent performers on the team over the course of the season.
Mar 12, 2022
Flirts with triple-double
Bridges produced 26 points (9-15 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds, nine assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Friday's 142-120 victory over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Bridges finished with at least 25 points, nine assists and eight rebounds for the first time all season. Over his last 10 games, the fourth-year forward has averaged 21.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 37.7 minutes per contest. He'll look to continue his strong play Monday against the Thunder.
Mar 9, 2022
Goes for 30 points in loss
Bridges contributed 30 points (11-19 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal over 39 minutes during Tuesday's 132-121 loss to the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Bridges reached the 30-point mark for the first time since a Jan. 17 win over the Knicks, but he has been scoring the rock at a decent clip of late. The former Michigan State standout has scored at least 28 points in four of his last eight games, and he has cleared the 20-point mark in seven of his last 12 appearances.
Mar 2, 2022
Solid overall outing Wednesday
Bridges had 15 points (7-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt), seven rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 119-98 win over the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges tallied a fine all-around effort during the team's victory by making many solid statistical contributions in points, rebounds and assists. It was the forward's 10th performance this season posting at least 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Since recording just eight points against the Grizzlies on Feb. 12, Bridges is averaging 21.0 points across his past six outings.
Mar 1, 2022
Regresses in loss
Bridges produced 14 points (5-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and three rebounds over 30 minutes during Monday's 130-106 loss to Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
Bridges came back to earth after turning in a 29/10 double-double in Sunday's loss to Detroit. While all of Charlotte's first unit benefits from a tight rotation, it can be a bit of a crapshoot determining who will benefit the most from the extended minutes. Nevertheless, Bridges has enjoyed 20 or more points in six out of his past nine games and is a consistent source of rebounds as well.
Feb 28, 2022
Explodes for 29/10 double-double
Bridges notched 29 points (9-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 10-11 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and one steal across 43 minutes during Sunday's 127-126 overtime loss to Detroit.
ANALYSIS
Bridges recorded his 12th double-double of the season and extended his current streak of double-doubles to four games. Bridges' success is partially due to Charlotte's tight rotation, which puts a lot of pressure on Bridges and the other starters, requiring them often to log court times of 35 minutes or more.
Feb 18, 2022
Clutch effort falls short
Bridges closed with 29 points (10-21 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 11 rebounds and two assists over 50 minutes during Thursday's 111-107 double-overtime loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Bridges only hit three treys, but supplied them in clutch moments, trading blows with Jimmy Butler and Kyle Lowry throughout the affair. Highlighted by a 28-foot make in overtime, even with the Hornets being 0-6 in overtime games this season Bridges continues to blossom in crunch time.
Feb 15, 2022
Erupts in OT loss
Bridges totaled 28 points (9-21 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 7-10 FT), 13 rebounds, seven assists and one block across 44 minutes during Tuesday's 126-120 overtime loss to the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Bridges flirted with a triple-double in the overtime loss but still secured his 10th double-double of the campaign. It was a much-needed bounceback performance following an awful 2-for-13 shooting performance Saturday against the Grizzlies.
Feb 13, 2022
Rough outing, Hornets fall to Grizz
Bridges contributed eight points (2-13 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 31 minutes during Saturday's 125-118 loss to the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Coming off of a stellar performance against Detroit on Friday, Bridges struggled to settle in on the second half of the back-to-back. Percentage-wise, it was Bridges' worst shooting game of the season, and while he did notch a steal and a block, it was an overall disappointing fantasy night. He'll look to bounce back Tuesday at Minnesota before the Hornets finish out their pre-break schedule Thursday versus Miami.
Feb 8, 2022
Does it all in loss
Bridges logged 25 points (8-17 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 7-7 FT), six rebounds, five assists, two blocks and three steals across 42 minutes during Monday's 116-101 loss to Toronto.
ANALYSIS
Bridges finished with at least 25 points, five rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals in the same game for the first time this season, though his best all-around game of the season wasn't enough to keep Charlotte close. The fourth-year forward is in the midst of a breakout season, averaging 19.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 35.9 minutes per game -- all career highs. He'll look to build off his stellar performance Wednesday against the Bulls.
Feb 5, 2022
Blocks four shots in blowout loss
Bridges closed with 15 points (6-14 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, five assists and four blocks in 33 minutes during Saturday's 104-86 loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Bridges blocked four shots in the loss, all of which came during the first half. The Hornets were blown out in the third quarter, resulting in many of the starters seeing reduced playing time. Despite slowing after a red hot start to the season, Bridges is still well ahead of his preseason ADP. Anyone who drafted him in the fifth or sixth round has to be thrilled with the current return on investment. Bridges and the Hornets will next look to bounce back against the Raptors on Monday.
Jan 29, 2022
Dominates in win
Bridges notched 26 points (9-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), eight rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals in 41 minutes during Friday's 117-114 victory over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges went 8-for-10 from inside the arc and 7-for-8 from the charity stripe en route to a team-high 26 points. The fourth-year pro and has scored 20-plus in eight of his last nine games and has averaged 23.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.0 blocks during that stretch. Bridges is in the midst of a breakout campaign and will look to continue his stellar play against the Clippers on Sunday.
Jan 26, 2022
Surpasses 20-point mark once again
Bridges supplied 22 points (6-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 8-8 FT), four rebounds and three assists over 30 minutes during Tuesday's 125-113 loss to the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Bridges ended up as one of Charlotte's best scorers in this game and surpassed the 20-point mark for the sixth time over his last seven contests. He's been playing at a high level of late and is averaging 23.4 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game during that seven-game span.
Jan 20, 2022
Solid outing in victory
Bridges finished with 22 points (9-17 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds and two assists over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 111-102 victory over the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
After dropping a career-high 38 points in Charlotte's previous contest, the high-flying forward impressed again with another well-rounded outing. This marked Bridges' fourth straight 20-point contest as he continues upon his breakout season. The 23-year-old is showing no signs of slowing down as he is averaging 22.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game over his last eight apperances.
Jan 17, 2022
Career-best performance Monday
Bridges had 38 points (14-20 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal over 39 minutes during Monday's 97-87 win over the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges stepped up Monday since LaMelo Ball (illness) didn't appear in the game, and the 23-year-old logged a career-high 38 points while converting 70 percent of his attempts from the floor. He's played at least 26 minutes in each of his eight appearances since returning from a two-game absence, and he's posted three double-doubles during that time. The 2018 first-rounder should have plenty of chances to remain involved, even when Ball returns to full health.
Jan 11, 2022
Double-doubles in win
Bridges logged 17 points (7-19 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 41 minutes during Monday's 103-99 victory over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges finished third on the team in scoring and grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds en route to his seventh double-double of the season and his second in the past four games. Over the last four contests, the fourth-year pro is averaging 20.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals in 36.0 minutes. He's in the midst of a career year and will look to continue his strong play Wednesday against the 76ers.
Jan 5, 2022
Scores 19 points in win
Bridges chipped in 19 points (6-8 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 4-7 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one block over 26 minutes during Wednesday's 140-111 win over Detroit.
ANALYSIS
Bridges finished with double-digit points for the seventh straight game and was one of six Hornets to score in double figures during their blowout win over Detroit. On the season, the fourth-year pro is averaging 19.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists across 36.1 minutes per game, which would all be career-highs.
Jan 4, 2022
Breakout season continues
Bridges supplied 23 points (10-19 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 14 rebounds, four assists, one block and four steals in 42 minutes during Monday's 124-121 loss to the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Bridges ripped down a season high in rebounds while logging 42 minutes in the thriller. On the season, Bridges trails only Russell Westbrook in total minutes played. Despite shooting 31.0 percent from beyond the arc this season, Bridges is achieving new heights elsewhere across the board. He will next take the court against the Pistons on Wednesday
Jan 2, 2022
Available Sunday
Bridges (COVID-19 protocols) is available for Sunday's contest against Phoenix.
ANALYSIS
The high-flying wing missed two straight contests for Charlotte while stuck in the league's health and safety protocols, but Bridges is off the team's injury report Sunday. Jaden McDaniels will most likely move back to the bench in his return.
Jan 1, 2022
Could return Sunday
Bridges (COVID-19 protocols) has cleared protocols and is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Suns, Rod Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges last played Dec. 23, and the team needs to make sure his conditioning is up to par before he's allowed back on the court. Before entering protocols, he was coming off five straight double-digit scoring efforts, with averages of 19.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.2 assists in 33.4 minutes.
Dec 26, 2021
Enters COVID protocols
Bridges was placed into the NBA's health and safety protocols Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Both Bridges and P.J. Washington were simultaneously placed in the league's health and safety protocols, joining Cody Martin as the Hornets' players currently sidelined due to COVID-19. The loss of Bridges and Washington leaves the team without their top two options at power forward, likely prompting head coach James Borrego to start Jalen McDaniels instead. The earliest Bridges could return would be Jan. 5 against Detroit unless he's able to produce consecutive negative PCR tests within a 24-hour span.
Dec 21, 2021
Logs double-double in loss
Bridges supplied 21 points (8-20 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 37 minutes during Monday's 112-102 loss to the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Bridges led the charge to close a double-digit deficit in the second half, but the Hornets could not close the gap. The standout forward helped prop up the team during their recent slew of COVID-19-related absences averaging 18.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5,7 assists over the past six games.
Dec 19, 2021
Paces Hornets on scoreboard
Bridges closed Sunday's 137-106 loss to the Suns with 26 points (10-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds and two steals across 32 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Although Bridges was unable to record any assists Sunday after he dished out 19 dimes across the last two games, he remained dominant on the scoreboard with a team-high 26 points. The 23-year-old has now scored in double figures in eight of his last nine appearances.
Dec 8, 2021
Scores 20 points in loss
Bridges chipped in 20 points (8-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and five assists across 43 minutes during Wednesday's loss to Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
Bridges shot very efficiently Wednesday which allowed him to hit the 20-point mark for the fourth time in the past six games. This offensive production is something that the Hornets have needed in the past few games with both LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier out due to health and safety protocols. The absence of these guards has also given Bridges a boost in playtime as he has now played 40-plus minutes in three straight games when he had only hit that number twice prior to this stretch. With Ball and Rozier likely out for a few more games, Bridges will continue to be a focal point offensively.
Dec 6, 2021
Posts solid final line
Bridges closed Monday's 127-124 OT loss to the 76ers with 16 points (6-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and six assists in 43 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Bridges didn't have his best night shooting, but he contributed across the board for fantasy managers, as has been the case throughout the first few months of the 2021 season. The 23-year-old is putting up 20.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.2 steals in 36.6 minutes through 26 contests.
Dec 6, 2021
Leads the way Sunday
Bridges logged 32 points (11-15 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, four assists, one block and three steals in 40 minutes during Sunday's 130-127 victory over Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was on fire during Sunday's improbable win, stepping up in the absence of both LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier who were out due to health protocols. Given all the recent disruption, this may turn out to be one of the most important wins for the Hornets all season. For Bridges, this was a nice return to the form that we saw from him to open the campaign. As long as the team is down on troops, he is going to be the number one option on offense and should be able to put up some gaudy numbers.
Nov 28, 2021
Efficiency improves Saturday
Bridges notched 22 points (8-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds and two assists over 33 minutes during Saturday's 146-143 OT loss to the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Bridges ended the loss with a serviceable line, highlighting just how far he has come when considering his fantasy ceiling. He did fail to produce on the defensive end but his efficiency on the other end of the court was a big improvement on what he has been dishing up of late. While his fast start to the season was likely a bit of an outlier, he is certainly on track to return value for those who snapped him up in the late-middle rounds of drafts.
Nov 21, 2021
Scores 35 points
Bridges logged 35 points (15-28 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 10 rebounds and three assists across 38 minutes during a 115-105 loss Saturday at Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Bridges' recent point tally is his career best. He has a team-best average of 19.7 points across 11 games this month. Bridges demonstrated how his point tally was no fluke by averaging it despite teammates LaMelo Ball, Gordon Hayward and Terry Rozier being healthy during the span.
Nov 18, 2021
Double-double in win
Bridges totaled 17 points (8-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists and one block over 37 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Bridges put up another great performance notching his second double-double of the season. The young forward also kept up his streak of scoring in double-figures every game this season. Bridges is now averaging an impressive 18.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists over his last five games.
Nov 14, 2021
Secures eight rebounds
Bridges accumulated 22 points (9-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one steal in 42 minutes during Sunday's 106-102 win over the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Bridges led the Hornets on the scoreboard for a second consecutive game, and he came within two rebounds of posting his second double-double of the season in Sunday's narrow win. The 23-year-old has recorded double-digit scoring totals in each of his first 15 appearances of the season and has played at least 30 minutes in each contest.
Nov 13, 2021
Leading scorer in win
Bridges mustered 24 points (8-17 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 5-8 FT), four rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal in 37 minutes during Friday's 104-96 win over the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Although Bridges was slightly less effective on the boards Friday after tallying at least eight rebounds in each of the last two contests, he led the Hornets in scoring against the Knicks. The 23-year-old has now logged 20-plus points in three of the last six games.
Nov 4, 2021
Puts up 32 points against Warriors
Bridges totaled 32 points (12-22 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocked shots over 38 minutes in Wednesday's loss to Golden State.
ANALYSIS
Bridges finished as one of three Hornets with double-digit points, tying his season highs in both scoring and three-pointers. He also made an impact on the defensive end, tallying multiple steals and blocks for the second straight game. The fourth-year forward is enjoying a breakout campaign with per-game averages of 24.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.9 three-pointers, 1.8 steals and 1.0 blocks, giving him top-10 value in nine-category leagues.
Nov 1, 2021
Flirts with triple-double
Bridges recorded 13 points (4-18 FG, 1-7 3PT, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds, eight assists, three steals and two blocks in 36 minutes Monday against Cleveland.
ANALYSIS
Bridges managed to stuff the stat sheet, but he suffered through an ugly shooting night, sinking just four of 18 attempts from the field in the 113-110 loss. Despite his shooting woes, he continues to contribute across the board for Charlotte. Bridges has been particularly impressive distributing the basketball of late, dishing out 17 total assists over his last two contests.
Oct 31, 2021
Goes for 19 with nine assists
Bridges finished Sunday's win over the Trail Blazers with 19 points (6-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT), nine assists, six rebounds and a block.
ANALYSIS
Bridges continues to be one of the biggest breakouts of the season, and he turned in another strong performance as the Hornets improved to 5-2. Over his previous five games, Bridges had averaged 28.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.6 steals and 3.2 made three-pointers. The return of Terry Rozier could cut into Bridges' scoring numbers a bit, but he's been enough of an all-around sensation that his overall fantasy value shouldn't take too much of a hit.
Oct 27, 2021
Leads all scorers in win
Bridges posted 31 points (11-21 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds and a block in Wednesday's 120-111 win over the Magic.
ANALYSIS
It's been an exceptional start to the season for the 2018 first-round pick, and he's now scored 25 or more points in four consecutive games. Bridges played 35 minutes on Wednesday which was second to only Gordon Hayward (37 minutes), so it appears he should have ample opportunity to prove that he can sustain the pace that he's currently on.
Oct 25, 2021
First double-double of 2021
Bridges recorded 25 points (11-22 FG, 2-10 3PT, 1-1 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and one steal in 38 minutes Monday against the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Bridges registered his first double-double of the young season, but he struggled mightily from beyond the arc, knocking down just two of 10 attempts from deep. Nonetheless, the scoring output has certainly been there early for the Michigan State product, finishing with 25 or more points in three of his first four games.
Oct 24, 2021
Another big game in win over Nets
Bridges finished Sunday's win over the Nets with 32 points (9-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 11-12 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block.
ANALYSIS
The 2018 first-round pick is off to a fantastic start to the season, having scored at least 30 points in two of his first three games, in addition to a 13-point, eight-rebound, four-assist, three-steal effort on opening night against the Pacers. Bridges mostly worked off the bench last season, but he found increased opportunity late in the year while Gordon Hayward was out due to injury. He's parlayed that into a larger, starting role to begin 2021-22, and early on Bridges has the look of a potential fantasy breakout.
Oct 22, 2021
Drops 30 points in win
Bridges totaled 30 points (13-24 FG, 4-9 3Pt), seven rebounds and three turnovers in 35 minutes during Friday's 123-112 win over the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges came within two rebounds of a double-double during Wednesday's opener against the Pacers, and he paced the Hornets in scoring Friday to lead the team to a second straight win. The 23-year-old has played a key role for Charlotte early in the season while averaging 34.0 minutes per game.
Oct 20, 2021
Solid across the board
Bridges had 13 points (4-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block in the Hornets' 123-122 win over the Pacers on Wednesday night. He logged 33 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Bridges paced the Hornets with a +15 during his time on the floor and returns as a key component of their lineups. Although he's capable of offensive booms, output and usage similar to tonight may be closer to a typical night from Bridges. The Hornets next matchup comes versus Cleveland on Friday.
Oct 20, 2021
Will start season opener
Bridges (knee) will start Wednesday's opener against the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was limited at practice in recent days, but he was listed as probable on the initial injury report, so his status never appeared to truly be in much jeopardy. The Hornets have since confirmed that he'll start at power forward alongside Mason Plumlee, Gordon Hayward, LaMelo Ball and Kelly Oubre, who gets the nod at shooting guard with Terry Rozier (ankle) out.
Oct 19, 2021
Listed as probable for opener
Bridges (knee) is listed as probable for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has been limited at practice, but he is expected to play in the regular-season opener. The 23-year-old averaged 12.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists across 29.3 minutes last year and will likely garner a similar workload during the 2021-22 campaign.
Oct 15, 2021
Logs limited practice
Bridges (knee) participated in Friday's practice, but was held out of full contact.
ANALYSIS
The 23-year-old left Wednesday's preseason contest early due to a knee injury and was limited during Friday's practice. Regardless, it is encouraging to see Bridges practicing in some capacity, indicating that the high-flying wing should be ready for next Wednesday's regular season opener against the Pacers.
Oct 13, 2021
Will not return Wednesday
Bridges (knee) left the game in the first half Wednesday with a knee injury and will not return to the game.
ANALYSIS
The 23-year-old forward will remain out for the remainder of the preseason game against the Mavericks. The injury does not seem extremely serious as it was classified as just right knee soreness and the Hornets may just be taking extra precaution with Bridges as they were trailing the Mavericks by 31 at halftime. With this being the Hornets' final preseason game, Bridges will have a full week to regain health before their season opener against the Pacers next Wednesday.
Oct 11, 2021
Turns in double-double
Bridges registered 22 points (8-16 FG, 4-8 3PT, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, six assists and two blocks in 31 minutes Monday against Miami.
ANALYSIS
Bridges put together his best performance of the preseason thus far, converting on 50 percent of his field goals and turning in a double-double. The Michigan State product is now averaging 16.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 block through three exhibitions (25.9 minutes), and he's started all three.
Oct 5, 2021
Scores 13 in preseason opener
Bridges finished with 13 points (6-12 FG, 0-4 3PT, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block in 20 minutes during Monday's preseason game against the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Bridges knocked down half of his shots from the field and snagged five boards in the 113-97 victory. He'll continue to battle with P.J. Washington for minutes at power forward, though Bridges appears to have the advantage for the starting job at this point.
Oct 4, 2021
Starting preseason opener
Bridges will start Monday's preseason opener against the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
The Hornets will go with Bridges, Mason Plumlee and Gordon Hayward up front, while P.J. Washington will presumably serve as the first big man off the bench. Washington, who started 61 of 64 appearances last season, is considered the likely starter at power forward, so how the minutes break down between he and Bridges will be worth monitoring throughout the preseason. With Gordon Hayward battling an injury over the final month-and-a-half of last season, Bridges closed on an extremely strong run, averaging 20.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.9 blocks and 2.9 made threes over his final 19 games.
Jul 8, 2021
In COVID-19 protocols at Team USA
Bridges entered COVID-19 protocols at Team USA training camp in Los Angeles, Real GM reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was one of several young players named to the USA Select Team, which practices alongside the Olympic team in preparation for the 2021 Games in Tokyo. All three of Bridges, Immanuel Quickley and P.J. Washington are currently in COVID-19 protocols, and with the Olympics set to begin in just over two weeks it's unclear if they'll be able to return to the Select Team.
May 19, 2021
Scores 23 points in loss
Bridges recorded 23 points (10-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block across 37 minutes in Tuesday's loss to the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges carried the Hornets offensively in this game and finished just two boards away from posting a double-double, but his efforts were not enough and Charlotte was officially eliminated from the playoffs as a result. Even though the Hornets didn't crack the postseason, Bridges enjoyed a strong season and finished with career-high marks in rebounds (6.0), assists (2.2) and blocks (0.8) per game while also scoring 12.7 points per contest on 50.3 shooting from the field and 40 percent from three-point range.
May 16, 2021
Blocks four shots in narrow loss
Bridges finished with 17 points (6-18 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds and four blocks in 40 minutes during Sunday's 115-110 loss to the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Bridges, playing in just his second game back, played a team-high 40 minutes as they fell to the Wizards. The loss relegates the Hornets to the 10th seed in the East and they will now face the Pacers in what is a must-win scenario. Based on what we have seen from Bridges over the past month, his performance will be key to the team advancing beyond Tuesday.
May 16, 2021
No minutes limit Sunday
Bridges will not have a minutes limit in Sunday's game against the Wizards, Rick Bonnell of The Charlotte Observer reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges is not on any minutes restrictions, which was also evidenced in Saturday's loss to the Knicks in which he went off for 30 points (12-21 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one steal across 34 minutes. It's obviously a positive sign that he faces no restrictions in the second half of a back-to-back after returning from health and safety protocols.
May 15, 2021
Coming off bench
Bridges (COVID-19 protocols) will come off the bench Saturday against the Knicks, Rod Boone of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
In his first game back from a six-game absence, Bridges will come off the bench. We shouldn't be surprised if he sees fewer minutes than usual.
May 15, 2021
Cleared to play
Bridges (COVID-19 protocols) has been cleared to play Saturday against the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
After having his status flip-flopped, Bridges will ultimately end up making his return Saturday. The forward may be on a minutes limit for his first game back. By the time the Hornets play in the play-in tournament, he'll likely be back to a full workload.
May 14, 2021
Now ruled out
Bridges (COVID-19 protocols) will not play Saturday against the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
It was previously reported that Bridges was expected to be available Saturday, but that's not the case anymore. His next chance to play now arrives Sunday against the Wizards, which is the Hornets' final game of the regular season.
May 14, 2021
Expected to play Saturday
Bridges (COVID-19 protocols) is expected to return to the lineup for Saturday's game against the Knicks, Rod Boone of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Due to health and safety protocols, Bridges hasn't played since May 2, but he should be back for the Hornets' second-to-last game of the regular season. It's possible the forward will be on a minutes limit for his first game back. By the time the Hornets play in the play-in tournament, he'll likely be back to a full workload.
May 12, 2021
Still sidelined Thursday
Bridges (COVID-19 protocols) will remain out for Thursday's game against the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has been in the league's health and safety protocols since May 4, and he'll miss a sixth straight game as a result. Following Thursday's game, Bridges will have just two more chances to return prior to the end of the regular season.
May 10, 2021
Remains out Tuesday
Bridges (COVID-19 protocols) will remain out for Tuesday's game against the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
The wing was initially given a 10-to-14-day timetable, so he never had much of a chance to play Tuesday, but his status will be worth keeping a close eye on as the regular season comes to a close. After Tuesday, the Hornets have just three more games remaining, so the hope is that Bridges can play in at least one to shake off any rust before the play-in tournament.
May 4, 2021
Sidelined due to COVID-19 protocols
Bridges entered the league's health and safety protocols Tuesday and is expected to miss 10-to-14 days, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges hitting the shelf couldn't come at a worse time for Charlotte, which continues to jockey for position in the Eastern Conference playoff race. The Michigan State product has filled in admirably for Gordon Hayward (foot), averaging 19.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.9 made threes over his last 16 games (all starts). He's scored in double figures in every game during that stretch with eight 20-plus-point efforts. If the 10-to-14-day timetable holds up, Bridges could be at risk of playing, at best, only one or two more games before the end of the regular season.
May 1, 2021
Goes off for 27 in win
Bridges had 27 points (11-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in Saturday's win over Detroit.
ANALYSIS
The return of LaMelo Ball was the highlight of the night, but it was Bridges who helped lead the way for Charlotte alongside Terry Rozier (29 points). Bridges has now scored in double figures in 17 straight games while topping 20 points seven times in that span.
Apr 27, 2021
Another double-double
Bridges scored 21 points (9-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt) to go along with 10 rebounds, six assists and two blocks across 41 minutes in Tuesday's loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges topped 40 minutes for the second time this season and produced an excellent well-rounded line. He shot well from the floor to score at least 20 points for the third consecutive contest. On top of the scoring, Bridges continued to work the boards to record his third double-double in his last five games. Bridges has already taken a big step forward in his scoring efficiency this season, and he is posting career-high marks in assists and rebounds. His recent run also leaves the impression that he is prepared to close the season strong.
Apr 24, 2021
Big double-double in win
Bridges scored 25 points (9-15 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT) while adding 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 36 minutes during Friday's win over the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
The double-double was his 10th of the season, doubling his total from his first two NBA campaigns combined. Bridges is looking comfortable in the starting five, averaging 20.8 points, 7.9 boards, 3.4 threes, 2.6 assists, 0.9 blocks and 0.8 steals over the last nine games, and it could be tough to bump him back to the bench even when Gordon Hayward (foot) gets healthy.
Apr 23, 2021
Turns in 13 points
Bridges posted 13 points (5-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists and a blocked shot across 27 minutes in Thursday's 108-91 loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
With Gordon Hayward's (foot) return still a couple of weeks away, Bridges should continue as his direct pivot. Since entering the starting five at the beginning of the month, he's averaged 19.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists over a nine-game span. He's come nowhere close to these numbers over his three-year career in Charlotte. Since time is running out on his contract, there could be plenty of suitors interested in his services during the offseason.
Apr 20, 2021
Double-double in loss
Bridges registered 15 points (6-16 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 14 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 38 minutes during Tuesday's loss to the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
The 23-year-old has been producing quality fantasy lines across the board over his last four games, averaging 21.2 points, 8.8 rebounds, 4.0 three-pointers, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 steals in that span. Bridges has played 30-plus minutes in 10 straight games, which is a trend that should continue the rest of the way. The third-year forward will look to keep the good times rolling on Thursday against the Bulls.
Apr 19, 2021
Contributes on both ends Sunday
Bridges delivered 19 points (7-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 38 minutes in Sunday's win over Portland.
ANALYSIS
Bridges failed to crack the 20-point mark just for the second time in his last six games, but he supplied that with a strong effort in other categories. The 2018 first-round pick is averaging 22.3 points per game during that six-game stretch and has embraced being the team's second-best scorer behind Terry Rozier while LaMelo Ball (wrist) and Gordon Hayward (foot) are still sidelined. This means Bridges will experience an uptick in his upside, at least on a short-term picture.
Apr 17, 2021
Pours in game-high 33 in loss
Bridges scored 33 points (13-18 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 1-2 FT) while adding nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in 39 minutes during Friday's loss to the Nets.
ANALYSIS
The third-year forward stepped up for the short-handed Hornets and led all scorers on the night, but Bridges didn't get enough help to steal a win in Brooklyn. Over seven games since moving into the starting lineup, he's averaging 20.1 points, 6.6 boards, 3.1 threes and 2.1 assists.
Apr 14, 2021
Scores 20 with 4 threes
Bridges posted 20 points (7-15 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block during Wednesday's loss to the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
The 23-year-old has now scored double-digit points in eight straight games, a span in which he's averaged 17.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.8 three-pointers and 0.9 steals in that span. Bridges has started the past six games and should continue to start as long as Gordon Hayward (foot) is sidelined. He'll look to make it nine straight double-digit scoring outputs Friday on the road against the Nets.

Scores 13 in loss
Bridges scored 13 points (5-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT) with seven rebounds and three assists in a 101-93 loss to the Lakers on Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Bridges cooled off a bit after scoring 20-plus points and making multiple threes in consecutive games prior to Tuesday's contest. The forward has scored in double figures in nine of his last 10 games and averaged 15.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per game over that span.
Apr 11, 2021
Commands frontcourt in narrow loss
Bridges contributed 23 points (9-17 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and a steal across 41 minutes in Sunday's 105-101 loss to the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges and Jalen McDaniels have experienced solid boosts in production amidst Gordon Hayward's (foot) absence, and based on Hayward's progress, this trend should continue throughout April. Bridges saw a slight uptick after McDaniels was forced off the floor for a portion of Sunday's game, but you should expect both players to excel as the Hornets muddle through a host of injuries.
Apr 10, 2021
Scores team-high 26 points
Bridges posted 26 points (8-13 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks across 37 minutes in Friday's win at Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
Bridges carried the Hornets offensively in this one while also contributing in several other categories across the board. Bridges has scored at least 20 points in two of his last four games and is expected to experience an uptick in his upside as long as he remains a starter with Gordon Hayward (foot) sidelined. For what is worth, Bridges is averaging 14.6 points while logging 34.6 minutes per game in five starts this season.
Apr 8, 2021
Efficient in win
Bridges dropped 16 points (6-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two steals and one assist across 36 minutes Wednesday in the win over the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has enjoyed the month of April thus far. Through four games, he's scored in double figures in each contest while recording steals in three of four outings and grabbing five or more boards three times. In his two games since taking over for Gordon Hayward (foot) in the starting lineup, Bridges is averaging 13.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game.
Apr 4, 2021
Starting for injured Hayward
Hornets head coach James Borrego said Bridges would start at small forward Sunday against the Celtics, Rod Boone of The Hive Vibes reports.
ANALYSIS
Bridges will jump into the starting five for what could be an extended period of time as a replacement for Gordon Hayward, who is expected to miss at least four weeks after spraining his right foot in Friday's loss to the Pacers. With Hayward departing early in that contest, Bridges stepped up to provide a double-double (23 points, 10 rebounds) to go with four triples, two steals, one block and one assist in 31 minutes. He'll be worthy of a look in 12-team leagues or deeper where available while Hayward is sidelined.
Apr 2, 2021
Scores team-high 23 points
Bridges delivered 23 points (8-12 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 10 rebounds, two steals, an assist and a block across 31 minutes off the bench in Friday's win over the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has now logged at least 30 minutes in three of his last four appearances, but he made the most of his minutes in this one and posted his second double-double over his last four games. He's accomplished that feat eight times already this season, and don't be surprised if Bridges ends up getting a bigger role Sunday against the Celtics -- especially if Gordon Hayward (foot) is unable to face his former team.
Apr 1, 2021
Plays team-high 30 minutes
Bridges tallied 10 points (3-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists, one steal and two blocks across 30 minutes during Thursday's 111-89 loss to the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Bridges actually led the team in minutes during this blowout loss and managed to post a decent all-around line despite the poor shooting. It marks the second time across the last three games that Bridges has played at least 30 minutes after he hadn't reached the 30-minute mark prior since Feb. 28.
Mar 28, 2021
Double-doubles off bench
Bridges posted 18 points (8-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 12 rebounds and one assist in 36 minutes during Sunday's loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
The 23-year-old bounced back from three mediocre performances in a row to post his seventh double-double of the season. Before Sunday's game, Bridges was averaging just 5.7 points and 5.3 rebounds with little else on 35.7 percent field-goal shooting over his last three games. Bridges could be in line for an increased role on the second unit if Malik Monk (foot) is forced to miss additional time with a sore foot.
Mar 21, 2021
Earns two season highs
Bridges supplied 21 points (7-11 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four assists, three rebounds and one block Saturday in a 125-98 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges supplied season highs in points and three-pointers made as Charlotte's lone star during an underwhelming team effort. Despite that, fantasy owners should not rely on him to continue supplying said performances. Bridges averaged 6.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists across their previous five games. Those numbers likely suggest that his stat line Saturday is more of a one-off than what's to be expected.
Mar 4, 2021
Double-doubles in blowout win
Bridges ended with 13 points (5-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists and one block in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 135-102 victory over the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Bridges notched his sixth double-double of the season, helping the Hornets to a comfortable win. He now sits inside the top-120 on the season and despite being a relatively low usage player, his production has been consistent enough to warrant 12-team consideration. If points are not a priority, he does make for a sneaky plug-and-play option moving forward.
Mar 1, 2021
Solid off bench in win
Bridges contributed 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt), nine rebounds and four assists across 33 minutes in Sunday's 127-126 victory over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Bridges led Charlotte reserves with 33 minutes in the win and enjoyed an efficient night from the field, missing only two of his seven shot attempts. The forward also chipped in nine boards and four dimes, though he didn't add any defensive stats. The 22-year-old is posting per-game averages of 10.0 points and 5.7 boards while registering career-best marks from the field (48.4 percent) and the charity stripe (92.7 percent) through 33 games this season.
Feb 25, 2021
Provides 14 points off bench
Bridges had 14 points (5-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and one assist in 27 minutes during Wednesday's 124-121 win over Phoenix.
ANALYSIS
The 22-year-old came off the bench Wednesday and continues to operate as a key reserve for the Hornets. Bridges is averaging 10.8 points and 7.1 rebounds over the past 10 games, and he doesn't regularly contribute significantly outside those two categories.
Feb 20, 2021
Back to bench Saturday
Bridges will come off the bench Saturday against the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Bridges got the nod as a starter on Valentine's Day with Gordon Hayward sidelined due to a back injury. However, with Hayward and P.J. Washington both healthy and back in the starting five, Bridges will come off the bench. In Bridges' past five appearances off the pine, he has averaged 11.6 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 27.2 minutes.
Feb 14, 2021
Starting for Hayward
Bridges will start Sunday's game against the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
With Gordon Hayward (back) and PJ Washington (health and safety protocols) ruled out, Bridges will move into the lineup at one forward spot for his second start of the season. He enters Sunday with double-doubles in each of his last four games.
Feb 10, 2021
Another double-double off bench
Bridges registered 15 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block across 31 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's loss against the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was one of four Hornets that scored 15 or more points, though he managed to accomplish that feat coming off the bench while also leading Charlotte in rebounds. This was his third straight double-double, and the versatile two-way forward continues to prove his worth even if he's been confined to a bench role this season due to the presence of Gordon Hayward in the starting lineup.
Feb 8, 2021
Second consecutive double-double
In 27 minutes off the bench, Bridges went for 19 points (8-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and 10 rebounds Monday during the Hornets' 119-94 victory over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has now recorded double-doubles in consecutive games for the first time this season and his 19 points are most he's scored in a game since Jan. 8. He will look to continue his mini hot-streak when the Hornets take on the Grizzlies Wednesday.
Feb 7, 2021
Posts double-double off bench
Bridges recorded 11 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt), 14 rebounds, two assists and one block over 31 minutes in Sunday's 119-97 win over the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has returned to the bench over the past two games with PJ Washington (foot) back on the court, but he still played a prominent role for Charlotte in Sunday's win. He recorded his second double-double of the season while leading the team on the boards. The 2018 first-rounder has had inconsistent production off the bench this year, but he's seen significant playing time for the Hornets.
Feb 4, 2021
Registers 16 points in first start
Bridges totaled 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt), eight rebounds, three assists and one block over 32 minutes in the Hornets' 118-111 loss Wednesday to the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Making his first start of the season for the injured PJ Washington (foot), Bridges topped the 15-point mark for the first time since Jan. 24 and his eight rebounds were the most since Dec. 30. Should Washington not be able to return, look for Bridges to get the nod again. The Hornets take on the Jazz on Friday.
Feb 3, 2021
Joining starting five
Bridges will start Wednesday's game versus Philadelphia, Rod Boone of The Hive Vibes reports.
ANALYSIS
The 22-year-old will make his first start of the season with PJ Washington (foot) sitting out Wednesday. Bridges is averaging 9.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 25.9 minutes and is now slated for an increased role.
Jan 31, 2021
Solid production off bench
Bridges had 11 points (5-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt), five rebounds, four assists and one steal during Saturday's 126-114 win over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
The 22-year-old was a +25 off the bench as Charlotte was able to pull away from Milwaukee. Bridges has yet to attempt more than 11 shots in a game this season, so any offensive outbursts are likely to occur thanks to strong efficiency.
Jan 29, 2021
Modest production in depth role
Bridges scored nine points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt) to go with four rebounds and three assists over 27 minutes in Friday's 108-105 win over the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has had a consistent role off the bench for the Hornets recently and had recorded double-digit scoring totals in each of the past three matchups. However, he was slightly less efficient from the floor Friday and fell just short of the mark. Bridges still managed to contribute to the offensive attack with three assists in the win.
Jan 24, 2021
Efficient performance off bench
Bridges dropped 18 points (8-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists and two steals over 25 minutes off the bench in the Hornets' 107-104 win Sunday over the Magic.
ANALYSIS
After not attempting a shot in Friday's loss, Bridges took 11 shots and connected on nearly 73 percent of them en route to his highest scoring output since January 8. After going his first four games scoring less than 10 points, Bridges has now hit the double-digit plateau in five of his last eight games.
Jan 23, 2021
Sees just 19 minutes Friday
Bridges recorded two points (2-2 FT) and seven rebounds in 19 minutes during Friday's 123-110 loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
With Cody Zeller returning from a broken hand, he and Bismack Biyombo accounted for 39 of the Hornets' minutes at center. That shifted PJ Washington more to power forward, leaving less time available for Bridges at the position. Bridges was extremely conservative in Friday's game, taking no field goal attempts, and he was sloppy with the ball too, committing four turnovers. The third-year forward out of Michigan State has been wildly inconsistent this season, scoring fewer than five points in five of his 15 appearances, and he's hit the 20-point mark just twice.
Jan 14, 2021
Struggles with his shot Wednesday
Bridges notched four points (2-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt), six rebounds, five assists and a steal across 29 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's loss against the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has been very inconsistent when it comes to his scoring figures but has scored at least 13 points in two of his last four appearances, so he has shown the ability to make an impact off the bench. Those inconsistencies hurt his upside, however. He is averaging 8.8 points on 44 percent from the field and 38.2 percent from three-point range over his last 10 games, logging 26.3 minutes per contest in that span.
Jan 11, 2021
Shows up with 13 off bench
Bridges converted 13 points (5-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots and a steal across 25 minutes in Monday's 109-88 win over the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
The recent influx of talent in Charlotte has done a number on Bridges' fantasy value. He started the majority of the Hornets' games last season, but Gordon Hayward's arrival is about the worst thing that could happen to his overall output. Still, he's fought to stay involved and has popped with two 20-point performances this season. Such lines are few and far between currently, and it may take an injury for Bridges to climb back into fantasy relevance.
Jan 10, 2021
Struggles in Saturday's win
Bridges posted two points (0-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and one assist across 25 minutes during Saturday's win over the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges didn't hit a field goal for the second time across his last three games as he turned in possibly his worst game of the season despite the team's success. The 22-year-old is struggling with his consistency this year so far and averaging about four points less per game from last season. It's not uncommon for young players to be inconsistent, but his fantasy managers will hope Bridges can do away with these two-point outings soon.
Jan 9, 2021
Pops for 20 off bench
Bridges scored 20 points (8-11 FG, 4-6 3Pt) while adding four rebounds and an assist in 30 minutes off the bench during Friday's 118-110 win over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
The 20 points and four made threes tied his season highs in those categories. Bridges hadn't managed more than eight points in any of the Hornets' prior four games, but the third-year forward has shown he has the upside to be a vital part of Charlotte's bench. The next step for Bridges is to find some consistency.
Jan 5, 2021
Slows down after double-double
Bridges recorded seven points (3-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and five rebounds in Monday's loss to the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Bridges ended 2020 with his first double-double of this campaign, but he has cooled down since then. He is averaging 5.7 points on 36.4 percent from the field through three games in 2021. Bridges' 5.3 rebounds have been serviceable but not enough to compensate for his recent shooting.
Dec 30, 2020
Monster double-double off bench
Bridges registered 20 points (6-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 16 rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 30 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's win over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Bridges got off to a slow start to the season, but he has scored in double digits in three straight games while also posting his first double-double of the campaign in this contest -- something impressive considering he came off the bench. Bridges is yet to start a game in 2020-21, but he has been very productive in a substitute role and is averaging 12.5 points per game while featuring mostly with the second unit thus far.
Dec 28, 2020
Scores 10 in win over Nets
Bridges had 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3PT), four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal in Sunday's win over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Bridges is coming off the bench behind Gordon Hayward and P.J. Washington, so his opportunities have been somewhat limited, though he played a season-high 28 minutes Sunday. Over his last two games, Bridges has totaled 24 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals in 51 minutes.
Dec 12, 2020
Leading scorer off bench
Bridges scored a team-high 12 points (5-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT) while adding six rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block in 19 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 111-100 preseason loss to the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
While he was part of the second unit, Bridges still saw more court time than starting center Cody Zeller (seven points, four boards in 16 minutes), a pattern that could easily continue into the regular season. The Hornets are still trying to figure out their best rotation around new addition Gordon Hayward, but heading into his third NBA season, Bridges should still be a key part of the team's young core.
Dec 8, 2020
To come off bench
Bridges will come off the bench this season, Jack Duffy of The Painted Lines reports.
ANALYSIS
Unsurprisingly, the addition of Gordon Hayward has complicated Bridges' role. Bridges started 64 of 65 appearances last season, seeing 30.7 minutes per game. He may struggle to hit that workload this year.
Mar 1, 2020
Scores seven in loss
Bridges had seven points (3-13 FG, 1-7 3PT), four rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in Sunday's loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
It was a rough shooting night for Bridges, but he brought effort on the defensive end and now has five blocks over his last two games. The Michigan State product had scored in double-figures in 13 straight games prior to Sunday.
Feb 25, 2020
Team-high 17
Bridges supplied 17 points (7-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, an assist and a steal in 26 minutes during the Hornets' 119-80 loss to the Pacers on Tuesday night.
ANALYSIS
Bridges had seven of the Hornets first nine points, and poured in 17 points in the first half. That effort was followed by a goose egg in the second half scoring column, as the Pacers pulled away and Charlotte coach James Borrego yanked the starters. Storylines like this are becoming a trend in Bridges' young career, as he has yet to consistently deliver in stretches and finish strong as defenses adjust to him.
Feb 14, 2020
Secures MVP honors
Bridges amassed 20 points (8-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, five assists and three steals in 20 minutes during Friday's Team USA victory over Team World in the Rising Stars Challenge.
ANALYSIS
Bridges scored 13 of his 20 points during a third-quarter run that saw Team USA take control of what was an entertaining game. Bridges has been much better of late for the Hornets, putting up top-80 numbers over the past two weeks. The Hornets have already exceeded many expectations this season and are undoubtedly going to look to their youth moving forward. Despite a number of questions remaining, Bridges should be able to be a consistent 12-team asset the rest of the way.
Feb 13, 2020
20 points in win over Wolves
Bridges posted 20 points (6-16 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 115-108 win over the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was able to make an impact on both sides of the ball, racking up at least 20 points, one steal and one block for the third time this season. Wednesday also marked the eighth straight contest in which Bridges has attempted double-digit shots -- a stretch in which he's averaging 19.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 34.4 minutes.
Feb 11, 2020
Scores 18 in ugly win
Bridges scored a game-high 18 points (7-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding seven rebounds and a steal in 33 minutes during Monday's 87-76 win over the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Neither team shot better than 37.5 percent from the floor, so Bridges' performance was fairly impressive under the circumstances. The second-year forward is emerging as one of the Hornets' go-to players, averaging 19.8 points, 7.8 boards and 2.2 threes through five games in February.
Feb 4, 2020
Corrals career-high 15 boards
Bridges contributed 20 points (8-17 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 3-6 FT), 15 rebounds, one steal and one block in 39 minutes during Tuesday's 125-110 loss to the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Bridges finished with a career high in rebounding while posting his fourth double-double through 51 appearances this season. Three of those double-doubles have taken place across the last 16 games, as Bridges has raised his level of play of late. Bridges has scored at least 20 in three of the last four games as well, and the 21-year-old sophomore seems to be hitting his stride.
Feb 4, 2020
Continues upward trend
Bridges finished with 16 points (5-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block across 35 minutes Monday in the Hornets' 112-100 loss to the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Bridges shifted from small forward to power forward while PJ Washington (ankle) was sidelined, turning in a well-rounded stat line along the way, with the exception of his poor shooting from the field. The 21-year-old hasn't quite made the leap in his sophomore season that his draft-day investors might have anticipated, but Bridges has been trending up of late with averages of 19.8 points, 6.0 boards, 2.8 triples, 1.8 assists, 1.0 block and 0.8 steals over his last four outings.
Feb 2, 2020
Goes for 25 points
Bridges registered 25 points (10-19 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 37 minutes during Saturday's 114-90 loss at San Antonio.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has topped the 20-point mark in back-to-back outings for the first time this season, and he has been catching fire since he came off the bench against the Bucks on Jan. 24. Since then, Bridges has averaged 21.0 points per game while shooting 52.2 percent from the field in three starts. Considering Terry Rozier's struggles and Devonte' Graham's inconsistencies, Graham could very well be one of the Hornets' go-to players on offense moving forward if he can keep this up. He is averaging 13.2 points per game since the start of 2020.
Jan 30, 2020
Scores 23, stuffs stat sheet
Bridges amassed 23 points (8-17 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, three assists and two steals in 34 minutes during Thursday's 121-107 loss to the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Bridges was stellar, providing a well-rounded line while pacing Charlotte in scoring. This is the fifth time through 48 appearances this season that Bridges has gone for 20-plus points, and after a subpar rookie campaign the 21-year-old forward has taken a considerable step forward here as a sophomore.
Jan 28, 2020
Back in starting five
Bridges is starting Tuesday against New York.
ANALYSIS
Bridges came off the bench Friday against the Bucks, but he'll return to the starting five Tuesday. Nicolas Batum heads back to a bench role as a result.
Jan 24, 2020
Not starting Friday
Bridges isn't in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
The 21-year-old will come off the bench Friday as Nicolas Batum receives the start for the game in his home country of France. Bridges figures to rejoin the starting five when the Hornets take on the Knicks on Tuesday.
Jan 13, 2020
Scores 14 points
Bridges had 14 points (7-13 FG, 0-4 3PT), five rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block in 33 minutes during Sunday's 100-92 loss at Phoenix.
ANALYSIS
Bridges extended his run of double-digit scoring performances to five games, and he is averaging 16.0 points while shooting 57.4 percent from the field over that span. He will aim to extend that solid run of form Monday at Portland.
Jan 11, 2020
Scores 11 points
Bridges had 11 points (4-8 FG, 1-4 3PT, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 29 minutes during Friday's 109-92 loss at Utah.
ANALYSIS
Bridges has scored in double digits in five of his last six outings, and he has been surprisingly consistent of late since he averaging 14.3 points while shooting 51.7 percent from the field and 44.0 percent from three-point range during that stretch. He might have a bigger role on offense moving forward due to Devonte' Graham's recent struggles, but either way he should remain productive Sunday at Phoenix.
Jan 8, 2020
Career-best night from beyond arc
Bridges scored 26 points (10-15 FG, 6-9 3Pt) while adding nine rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block in 35 minutes during Wednesday's 112-110 overtime loss to the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
The six three-pointers were a career high for the second-year forward, who delivered his best scoring effort since he dropped 31 on the Wizards in late November. Bridges is averaging 13.6 points, 7.6 boards, 2.4 assists and 1.6 threes over the last eight games, numbers which would put him on the fringes of fantasy relevance even in shallower formats if he can keep it up.
