While there is very little room for error given his playing time, Wagner is someone to consider in slightly deeper formats.

The big man has specifically; come on as of late, scoring 18.5 points in his previous four games.

The 25-year-old was the only member of the Magic's second unit to score more than five points on the night, but Wagner's contributions were enough to put Orlando over the top. He's scored more than 20 points in back-to-back contests after going 16 straight games without reaching that mark once, but without more court time it's hard to bank on him maintaining that scoring pace for any length of time.

Wagner ended Saturday's 128-109 loss to the Bulls with 27 points (8-11 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 8-9 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal in 23 minutes.

With the starting unit struggling mightily Saturday night, Wagner stepped up and helped his team cut into a huge double-digit deficit in the second half. At one point, the 25-year-old big man scored 16 straight for the Magic. This may have been an atypical minutes distribution for Orlando, but it's worth noting that Wagner has scored in double figures the last eight times he's seen 20-plus minutes of action.

Wagner came off the bench for a third consecutive game Tuesday and maintained consistent playing time. While he was also consistent on the scoreboard, he had more trouble securing rebounds, as he had a season-low two boards during the narrow win. Over his last three appearances, he's averaged 9.0 points and 4.3 rebounds in 17.3 minutes per game.

Wagner had 12 points (4-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal across 18 minutes during Monday's 136-111 loss to the Kings.

Wagner ended his night with a relatively well-rounded line, much to the delight of anyone still holding him in fantasy. Unfortunately, it appears as though his minutes are going to hover around 16-18 per night, making him more of a deep-league target moving forward. While Monday's production was encouraging, it should be noted that this game was a blowout and so not a reflection of what things might look like.

Wagner will begin serving his two-game suspension Wednesday against the Thunder.

Since entering the starting lineup, it's been all systems go for Wagner, putting up top-40 value over the past two weeks. There is still no word on when Wendell Carter might return from his injury, meaning Wagner should be rostered everywhere.

Thomas Bryant is out indefinitely because of a stress reaction in his right foot. The Wizards will likely take it easy with Bryant, so Bertans could see a solid uptick in his workload. The 22-year old is a standard league asset in only 20.2 minutes per game, so he's worth a look for teams in search of a big man.

Back in action after a five-week absence, Wagner's playing time was unsurprisingly limited, but he fared well during the minutes he received. The Wizards ran a bloated 11-man rotation Monday, but more playing time should be available for all three of the Washington bigs that have recently returned from injuries -- Wagner, Thomas Bryant and Rui Hachimura -- once all have their restrictions lifted.
