On the season, the seventh-year pro has solidified himself as one of the Bucks' top role players, averaging 10.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 28.1 minutes. He will obviously be better than this on most nights but now that the Bucks are beginning to resemble the team that won the title last season, he can be left for those in deeper formats.

Connaughton suffered an inadvertent blow to the face Wednesday but managed to see out the game. He delivered strong defensive contributions but did struggle to find his range on the offensive end. While there is no word of an injury stemming from the incident, managers will want to keep an eye on the injury report moving forward, in case of a delayed reaction.

Connaughton is averaging 10.9 points and 5.0 rebounds, while shooting approximately 35 percent from three on a career-high 6.4 attempts.

Connaughton will come off the bench Sunday against the Wizards.

The Bucks will switch things up and go with a new starting five featuring Jrue Holiday, George Hill, Grayson Allen, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis, so Connaughton will shift back to the bench for the first time since Oct. 30. Through three games, Connaughton is shooting 60.7 percent from the field and 41.2 percent from three-point range.

Connaughton will enter Thursday's starting lineup for a matchup against the Heat.

Connaughton had easily his best game of the series and it couldn't have come at a better time for the Bucks. His playing time was reflective of his efforts on the floor, something that the coaching staff would love to see more of moving forward. Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) could return for Game 1 of the NBA Finals but if he is unable to get back out there, look for Connaughton to take on an increased role once again.

Connaughton had 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt), five rebounds, an assist and a block across 23 minutes off the bench in Thursday's win over the Sixers.

Connaughton has remained steady with his bench role, playing around 23 to 25 minutes per night and putting up decent, but unspectacular, numbers -- he has scored in double digits in four of his last six appearances while grabbing four or more rebounds in each of those six contests. He's averaging 10.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game during that span.

Connaughton scored 14 points (5-12 FG, 4-11 3Pt) and grabbed eight rebounds over 26 minutes against Atlanta in a 120-109 win Thursday.

Over that stretch, Connaughton has played 26.3 minutes per game and averaged 7.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists.

Connaughton was the hot hand Tuesday, as he scored a season-high 20 points, but the Bucks still lost. Connaughton has seen at least 21 minutes in each of the past five games, and he should continue seeing that kind of action as long as Holiday remains sidelined.

Connaughton's four steals marked a career high for the 28-year-old. Connaughton last missed a game against this same Jazz team on Jan. 8 but has played consistently since then. He is averaging 5.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists over the Bucks' past 17 games. These stats could be serviceable to NBA franchises but unlikely not for fantasy teams.

Connaughton had 15 points (5-8 3Pt), six rebounds, one steal and one block in 29 minutes during Saturday's 126-114 loss to the Hornets.

It was only the third time this season the 29-year-old has put up double-digit points, and he did it all from beyond the three-point line. Connaughton is shooting 45.5 percent from deep this season, but the limited playing time (18.1 minutes) and volume (3.4 3PA) limit any fantasy potential while the team remains healthy.

Connaughton finished with nine points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt), seven boards, three assists and one block in 20 minutes of a 131-126 loss to New Orleans on Friday.

Connaughton finished with a season best rebounding effort in the contest while also matching his second highest point total of January in the loss. He'll have a quick turnaround before likely coming off the bench again Saturday against Charlotte.

Connaughton should benefit from a slight uptick in playing time in blowouts or when one of the Bucks' two starting wings (Donte DiVincenzo and Khris Middleton) misses a game, but outside of those scenarios, his fantasy upside will remain capped.

Connaughton has been a steady scorer for the Bucks this season, and he really stepped his game up in game two after the Bucks opened the playoffs with a disappointing loss. He'll try to maintain the energy in game three on Saturday.

Connaughton finished with 10 points (3-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight boards, three assists, and one steal in 24 minutes against Washington on Tuesday.

Connaughton was very active on the boards helping his team end a two-game slide. The Notre Dame alum saw himself inserted into the starting lineup as the Bucks held out many regulars with the top seed locked up. With the seeding round finale coming up against Memphis on Thursday, he could see another extended opportunity to be a playmaker depending on who the Bucks hold out.

Connaughton will start during Tuesday's matchup against the Wizards.

The Bucks are missing a variety of key players, so Connaughton will draw his third start of the season. In the 14 games that he's seen 24-plus minutes, he's averaging 6.2 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists.

However, his uninspiring 5.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game suggest that fantasy managers are likely better off finding other players for value.

Connaughton (shoulder) is not listed on the injury report for Monday's game against the Timberwolves.
