The 27-year-old guard delivered his best performance yet on the young season, with the double-double being his first since April 9 against the Magic last season. Pritchard has seen a big increase in his usage with Jayson Tatum (Achilles) unavailable and the Celtics having shed plenty of talent in the offseason, and he's off to a solid start to what could easily be a career-best campaign, averaging 15.0 points, 6.7 boards, 4.0 assists, 1.3 threes and 1.0 steals in 35.7 minutes through three games.

Although his efficiency from behind the three-point line wasn't great, he averaged an astounding 41.1 percent on 7.8 attempts (3.2 three-point shots made) in the 2024-25 regular season, so fantasy managers should expect his numbers to approach this baseline as the season progresses.

He finished as the team's leading scorer in the loss and came away with his second 20-point performance of the month to this point. Pritchard will look to build off this outing Friday against the Magic, although it's worth noting he only had seven points, three rebounds and one assist in their last meeting.

Pritchard finished Sunday's 105-92 loss to the Thunder with zero points (0-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt), one rebound and one assist in 11 minutes.

The Celtics tightened up their rotation for this clash against the Thunder, resulting in a season-low 11 minutes for Pritchard. It obviously didn't help his case that he missed all five of his shots. His fantasy managers can chalk this up as a dud, as he's been pretty reliable this season with averages of 15.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 0.9 steals and 3.6 three-pointers.

After scoring in single digits in each of his past three outings, Pritchard broke out of that slump in a big way Friday, tallying his third double-double of the season while handing out a game-high 10 assists in Jrue Holiday's (shoulder) absence. While the streaky Pritchard has notched six 20-point games since Nov. 22, he's also logged six single-digit scoring outputs during this 16-game period, so he's proven to be a relatively inconsistent fantasy asset amid his breakout campaign as one of the league's premier sixth men off the bench. The 26-year-old sharpshooter is still playing a featured role for the Celtics, and although fantasy managers will have to deal with some poor shooting nights out of Pritchard, the guard has the ability to heat up in a hurry and score in bunches.

Pritchard finished with seven points (3-7 FG, 1-5 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist in 21 minutes during Monday's 108-104 loss to the Magic.

Pritchard was held to single-digit points for the second game in a row. His production can be sporadic when the Celtics are healthy, but he's had a strong December overall. Over his last 10 games, Pritchard is averaging 15.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 0.7 steals and 3.8 three-pointers.

Pritchard closed Sunday's 112-98 win over Washington with 15 points (5-12 FG, 5-10 3Pt), 11 rebounds and six assists over 37 minutes off the bench.

It was his second straight game with a double-double, although Thursday's effort came via assists and not boards. Pritchard has scored at least 15 points in eight of the last nine games while anchoring Boston's second unit, averaging 20.1 points, 5.6 boards, 4.9 threes 4.0 assists and 0.8 steals over that stretch while shooting 50.8 percent from the floor and 46.8 percent from beyond the arc.

Pritchard notched 27 points (10-20 FG, 7-15 3Pt), four rebounds and 10 assists in 31 minutes during Thursday's 123-99 victory over the Pistons.

Pritchard continues to cement himself as one of the league's premier sixth men off the bench in 2024-25, as he's now gone for at least 19 points in seven of his last eight games following his first double-double of the season in the absence of superstar Jayson Tatum (knee) in Thursday's rout. However, Pritchard was held scoreless over 24 minutes during a Dec. 6 win over the Bucks during this period, which sheds some light on how volatile the 26-year-old sharpshooter tends to be. Overall, Pritchard is converting 46.4 percent of three-point attempts across his last eight games and should remain a strong source of points and triples for fantasy managers ahead of Sunday's soft matchup against Washington.

Pritchard finished Saturday's 127-121 loss to Memphis with 22 points (7-12 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 2-4 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal across 30 minutes.

Pritchard drilled six three-pointers during the loss, marking his third-highest total in the category this season. Pritchard has often entered the game to prop up a struggling backcourt, but Jrue Holiday's superb line proved that Pritchard's production can shine even when the first unit doesn't need immediate support. Pritchard is having a breakout season, averaging 16.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists through 24 games.

Pritchard produced 25 points (10-17 FG, 5-12 3Pt), five rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block across 33 minutes during Monday's 108-89 win over the Heat.

Pritchard led the bench in scoring and totaled 20-plus points in his fourth consecutive outing. During this four-game span, he averaged 24.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.3 steals across 31.0 minutes per game off the bench. The Sixth Man of the Year candidate has recorded eight games with more than 20 points over 21 regular-season appearances, and he has provided an irreplaceable spark off the bench thus far. The 26-year-old sharpshooter has also contributed nine outings with more than five made three-pointers, and his efficiency from beyond the arc has been impressive during the 2024-25 campaign.

Pritchard ended with 24 points (7-16 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 7-8 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one block across 36 minutes during Sunday's 115-111 loss to Cleveland.

Pritchard stepped up in a big way off the bench once again for the Celtics on Sunday against the Cavaliers, going for 24 points on the heels of a 29-point showing from the second unit in Friday's win over Chicago. The 26-year-old sharpshooter continues to put together a breakout season in 2024-25, averaging a career-high 16.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 3.7 three-pointers in 27.8 minutes per game while shooting 43.2 percent from deep over 20 contests as Boston's sixth man. Pritchard may have a tendency to run a bit hot and cold at times, but he should remain a strong source of triples for fantasy managers and could see some extra shots if Derrick White (foot) or Jaylen Brown (illness) remain out for Monday's clash with Miami.

Pritchard notched 29 points (10-16 FG, 7-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal over 29 minutes during Friday's 138-129 win over the Bulls.

Pritchard has been one of the best bench performers this season, and this 29-point outing represented a new season-high mark for him. Pritchard has scored at least 20 points in six different games in 2024-25 and continues to have a career-best season while holding a prominent role in the Celtics' second unit.

Pritchard logged 20 points (7-13 FG, 6-10 3Pt), two rebounds, four assists and two steals across 26 minutes during Monday's 126-94 win over the Clippers.

This was Pritchard's fifth game of the season with at least 20 points. He's been a key part of Boston's second unit offense, and he's had a terrific November with averages of 14.3 points, 3.1 assists, 2.3 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 3.1 three-pointers in 27.2 minutes across 13 appearances.

Pritchard recorded eight points (3-7 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds and three assists over 22 minutes during Sunday's 107-105 win over the Timberwolves.

Pritchard struggled from outside while delivering his second consecutive matchup with fewer than 10 points. The sharpshooter has cooled down from outside, shooting 7-for-21 from three-point range in his last four games. However, Pritchard has delivered a spark off the bench throughout the season, and he has racked up 10 outings with 15-plus points in 17 regular-season appearances.

Pritchard (thumb) is available for Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.

Pritchard will shake off a questionable tag and suit up despite a left thumb sprain. Over his last eight appearances, the backup guard has averaged 16.1 points, 2.9 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 0.9 steals in 28.5 minutes per game.

Pritchard shot just 2-for-8 from the field in his last appearance Tuesday against the Hawks, but he made up for it with a big night Wednesday. He led the Boston bench with 23 points and set top marks on the season in rebounds and assists. Pritchard has now reached the 20-point threshold three times in November.

Pritchard registered six points (2-8 FG, 2-8 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and three steals over 25 minutes during Tuesday's 117-116 loss to the Hawks.

Pritchard struggled from the field, a blip on what has been an otherwise strong season thus far. Despite the talented roster surrounding him, Pritchard has established himself as one of the more reliable bench scorers in the NBA. While this was far from his best outing, his role is secure and he should look to bounce back against the Nets on Wednesday.

Pritchard produced 18 points (6-10 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three assists and one rebound across 23 minutes during Sunday's 113-107 win over the Bucks.

Pritchard is positioning himself for a Sixth Man of The Year campaign through 11 regular-season outings. The 26-year-old has drained three or more three-pointers in five consecutive games, during which he has also scored at least 16 points in each game. Pritchard continues to provide a crucial spark off the bench, and he has averaged 16.5 points, 3.9 three-pointers, 2.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steals across 28.1 minutes per game.

Pritchard finished Friday's 108-104 overtime win over the Nets with 20 points (6-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), one rebound and one steal over 34 minutes.

Pritchard continues to be the Celtics' spark plug off the bench this season, as he logged 20 points Friday for the third time. Pritchard has been one of the most productive bench players in the first two weeks of the regular season, and the numbers back him up. He's scored at least 15 points in all but one of his last seven outings, a span in which he's averaging 17.9 points per game while shooting an impressive 47.7 percent from three-point range.

Pritchard logged 22 points (8-15 FG, 6-12 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists over 29 minutes during Saturday's 113-103 victory over Charlotte.

Pritchard continued his strong play off the bench Saturday, and he had the ball in his hands more due to Jaylen Brown (hip) being sidelined. Pritchard hit five of his six threes in the first quarter, and he finished Saturday's game as the Celtics' second-leading scorer behind Jayson Tatum (29). Through the first seven games of the regular season, Pritchard is averaging 15.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.3 steals across 27.9 minutes per contest.

Pritchard registered 16 points (5-14 FGT, 4-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal over 38 minutes during Wednesday's 135-132 overtime loss to Indiana.

Pritchard has bounced back from the 1-for-10 outing on Opening Night to score 15-plus points over his last four regular-season games. Interestingly, Pritchard found himself on the floor during the fourth quarter and overtime alongside Derrick White as Jrue Holiday watched from the bench. It may have been a matchup decision by head coach Joe Mazulla to have Pritchard on the floor instead of Holiday, but it's clear the Celtics trust Pritchard during high-pressure moments. Over his last four outings, Pritchard has averaged 19.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 28.4 minutes per game.

Pritchard racked up 28 points (10-14 FG, 8-12 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists and two steals in 28 minutes during Monday's 119-108 win over the Bucks.

Pritchard tied Eddie House's franchise record for three-pointers made off the bench, hitting eight in the contest including a buzzer-beater to end the third quarter. The sharpshooter was a problem for Milwaukee all night long as he scored 19 of his 28 points in the first half, ending as the club's second-highest scorer behind Jaylen Brown (30). Pritchard will continue to provide a spark off the bench for the Celtics, and he has now tallied 15-plus points in three consecutive matchups.

Pritchard recorded 19 points (5-8 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds and a steal across 19 minutes off the bench in Saturday's 124-118 win over the Pistons.

Pritchard has scored at least 15 points while draining at least five threes in his last two outings off the bench, and the former Oregon standout is enjoying an excellent start to the campaign. His overall fantasy upside shouldn't be very high due to the uncertainty that comes with his bench role. That said, Pritchard is turning quite a few heads with his play as an elite three-point shooting threat in an already-stacked Boston roster.

Pritchard registered 15 points (5-11 FG, 5-10 3Pt), one rebound and two assists in 28 minutes during Thursday's 122-102 win over the Wizards.

The Celtics cruised to an easy victory against the Wizards and Pritchard made his presence felt off the bench with his efficient shooting from beyond the arc. He was limited to just three points across 25 minutes in the season-opening win against the Knicks on Tuesday, but he bounced back admirably here. If Pritchard finds a way to score in double digits off the bench on a regular basis, he could play his way into fantasy relevancy in category-based leagues and deep formats.

Pritchard provided three points (1-10 FG, 1-9 3Pt), four rebounds and four assists over 25 minutes during Tuesday's 132-109 win over the Knicks.

FastPP was part of a messy fourth quarter where the Celtics missed their last 13 three-point attempts as they tried to break the single game record for most made threes. The game was well in hand for Boston by that point, so hunting for an NBA record was all in good fun. Expect Pritchard's shot to return Friday at Washington. Pritchard should continue his role as "scorer off the bench" for the near future.

Pritchard will come off the bench for Tuesday's game against the Knicks.

Pritchard entered the starting lineup often during the preseason, though Jrue Holiday will reclaim his starting spot Opening Night. Pritchard will likely play a significant role off the bench, but he will have to compete for playing time with Sam Hauser and Jaden Springer on the wing.

Getting the start in place of Jrue Holiday (rest), Pritchard put on an impressive display from long range. The fifth-year guard will be the floor leader for Boston's second unit this season, with his primary fantasy value coming from beyond the arc -- Pritchard averaged a career-high 1.8 threes per game in 2023-24 on 38.5 percent shooting.

Pritchard delivered 19 points (7-13 FG, 5-11 3Pt), five rebounds and nine assists across 24 minutes in Sunday's 115-111 preseason win over the Raptors.

Pritchard had an excellent showing in this preseason win Sunday, and there's no question he took advantage of the opportunity after the Celtics decided to rest several players who featured in the win over the 76ers on Saturday. Pritchard has a strong grip as the backup point guard behind Jrue Holiday, but given how the Celtics' rotation is currently constructed, he's not expected to have a lot of fantasy upside outside of being a streaming alternative in deep formats.

Pritchard will start Sunday's preseason game against the Raptors, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Pritchard averaged a career-high 9.6 points per game in 2023-24 while making 38.5 percent of his threes, so he should be a reliable weapon off the bench for Boston, though his fantasy upside will be minimal if he continues to play almost exclusively off the bench.

The Celtics are using a very tight eight-man rotation right now, but Pritchard is pretty clearly the sixth man for the foreseeable future. He's been excellent through 11 playoff appearances, averaging 7.8 points, 2.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds while hitting 47.0 percent from the field and 44.7 percent from beyond the arc.

Pritchard notched 13 points (6-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt), four assists, two rebounds and one steal over 20 minutes in Thursday's 118-94 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Pritchard once again provide a spark off the Celtics bench in Thursday's contest, leading all Boston bench players in scoring and assists while ending as one of five Celtics in double figures in scoring in a losing effort. Pritchard has had a strong semifinals series through two games, reaching double figures in both games while playing at least 20 minutes off the bench in both contests. It will be key for the Celtics to get contributions from Pritchard and the rest of the bench this series, and we will likely continue to see Pritchard earn a large chunk of minutes on the second unit.

Pritchard will come off the bench for Sunday's Game 1 against Miami.

After starting the final two regular season contests, Pritchard will return to his typical bench role while Jrue Holiday and Derrick White anchor the backcourt. In addition to the aforementioned guards, Boston will roll with it's fully healthy starting lineup Sunday, featuring Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis.

Two days after scoring a career-high 31 points, Pritchard followed that up with a 38-12-9 line Sunday. He was one rebound shy of notching the first triple-double of his career, and he played a season-high 44 minutes with the Celtics resting all of their starters plus Al Horford (rest). Pritchard ends the regular season notching career highs across most statistical categories, and in April he averaged 18.8 points on 55.9 percent shooting, 3.6 rebounds and 7.0 assists over 29.4 minutes per game.

Pritchard notched 31 points (14-22 FG, 3-8 3Pt), three rebounds, 11 assists and one steal in 31 minutes during Friday's 131-98 victory over Charlotte.

Pritchard scored a career-high 31 points Friday and was the main guy for the Celtics with the team sitting all five of their starters plus Al Horford (toe). It was the third double-double of the season for Pritchard, and the fourth-year guard out of Oregon has played a key role off the bench for Boston this season. Pritchard is averaging 16.0 points on 52.2 percent shooting, 2.9 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.0 steals over 27.3 minutes per game in April.

Pritchard is starting Friday's game against the Hornets, John Karalis of BostonSportsJournal.com reports.

Pritchard has handed out at least eight assists in seven games this season, adding 20 or more points in two of those outings. He has now surpassed the 20-point mark in nine appearances, including in two straight games.

Pritchard produced 11 points (4-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, eight assists and two steals over 28 minutes during Wednesday's 135-100 victory over Oklahoma City.

Pritchard seemed to have cooled off in his last three games, but he delivered another quality showing here, taking advantage of the uptick in minutes and finishing just two assists away from a double-double. Despite coming off the bench, Pritchard has now scored in double digits in seven of his last 10 appearances, a span in which he's averaging 13.0 points, 6.1 assists and 3.4 rebounds per contest.

Pritchard accumulated 15 points (7-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 0-2 FT), five rebounds and six assists over 28 minutes during Monday's 120-118 loss to the Hawks.

Pritchard lead Boston with the six assists Monday, doing so without committing a turnover. Additionally, it's an encouraging sign to see Pritchard score efficiently on a night when his three-point shot was cold. The 26-year-old is averaging 18.4 points and 6.6 assists while making 3.4 triples in 33.8 minutes across his last five games, and he profiles as a strong option if Jrue Holiday (shoulder) and Derrick White (hand) continue missing time in the future.

Pritchard will return to a reserve role in Saturday's game versus the Bulls, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports.

The Celtics are opting to go with a big frontcourt against the Bulls, so Pritchard will come off the bench. However, Jrue Holiday (shoulder), Jaylen Brown (ankle) and Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring) are all out, so the point guard could still see a healthy workload as a reserve.

Pritchard has averaged 19.0 points, 8.0 assists, 4.0 threes and 3.8 boards during that run of increased usage, and while Holiday's shoulder bruise isn't thought to be serious, he could miss another game or two as the Celtics focus on keeping him fully healthy for the postseason.

There were plenty of questions in the offseason regarding the Celtics' role players, but Pritchard has carved a decisive role for himself on the top team in the NBA.

Pritchard will retreat to the second unit for Wednesday's game against the Bucks, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports.

Pritchard had started in each of the last two games that Jrue Holiday (shoulder) has missed, however, he'll be part of the reserves against Milwaukee despite Holiday's absence. Instead, Derrick White will handle point guard duties alongside Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Al Horford and Kristaps Porzingis. Pritchard should still see a hefty workload behind White on Wednesday.

Pritchard continued his trend of being a dangerous shooter at home this season, where he's connecting on 41.8 percent of 4.4 threes per game.

They'll look to continue their winning ways Sunday at Indiana.

In fact, heading into Saturday, Pritchard had totaled only 30 points and seven treys combined over 18 contests. His expanded playing time Saturday was largely due to the blowout nature of the contest -- in fact, 16 of his 19 points came in a torrid three-minute fourth-quarter stretch -- so the outlier performance isn't likely to significantly change his fantasy outlook moving forward.

It appears as though Pritchard is pushing to play in Tuesday's finale, but the Celtics would prefer the second-year guard sit out for precautionary reasons. Pritchard, himself, tweeted Sunday night that he plans to suit up, but Celtics Summer League head coach Joe Mazzulla said Pritchard did not take part in Monday's practice. "I know everyone saw what he tweeted and we're in discussions about whether it makes sense for him to come back," Mazzulla said Monday afternoon. "We're still communicating and working through that. As a coach obviously you want him there, I think we'll know more in the morning." Pritchard was excused from the Celtics' previous Summer League game due to a prior commitment, but in three appearances in Las Vegas, he's averaged 20.3 points and 8.7 assists per game.

He'll look to keep it going Saturday on the road against the 13th-seeded Timberwolves.

His value doesn't expand outside of the occasional scoring burst and ability to knock down shots from beyond the arc.

Given that he provides hardly any defensive statistics, Pritchard is playing largely empty minutes from a fantasy perspective.

Maybe more important for Pritchard is that fellow point guard back-up Jeff Teague received a DNP-Coach's Decision. A case can be made that Pritchard is, so far, the third-best rookie in the Association, after LaMelo Ball and Tyrese Haliburton. Expect more big minutes from Pritchard on Friday as the C's rest Kemba Walker for the back-half of the back-to-back.

Pritchard was helped to the locker room late in the first quarter of Friday's game against the 76ers with an apparent right knee injury, Jared Weiss of The Athletic reports.
