Although Drew Eubanks logged nine rebounds in limited action, Achiuwa played 11 more minutes and finished with a much higher point total. Eubankas hasn't been an effective answer for Domantas Sabonis' (knee) absence, and it wouldn't be surprising to see a first-unit switch between Eubanks and Achiuwa in the near future.

With Isaiah Hartenstein rounding into form, it appears as though Achiuwa is now playing purely as a backup center. Should this continue for even one more game, he is someone who can be dropped in standard formats.

With OG Anunoby (wrist) out, Achiuwa remained in the starting lineup Monday and posted his third straight double-double and fifth over his last six appearances (four starts). During that stretch, the third-year big man is averaging 17.2 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.2 assists in 33.8 minutes per game. Anunoby is expected to miss at least a week, so Achiuwa should remain in the starting lineup and have plenty of opportunities to maintain his recent string of success.

Achiuwa racked up 27 points (11-16 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 13 rebounds, one block and two steals over 33 minutes during Saturday's 123-105 win over the Trail Blazers.

Achiuwa excelled with a nice double-double in the win, and helped to absorb OG Anunoby's (wrist) missing production. The frontcourt tandem of Achiuwa and Pascal Siakam worked wonders for coach Nick Nurse, and we may see the two share the court more frequently moving forward.

While X-rays were negative, there is certainly a chance he misses time. If that is the case, Achiuwa appears in the box seat to step up in the rotation. Even with Anunoby healthy, Achiuwa has been knocking on the door of 12-team leagues over the past two weeks, putting up top-150 value over that time. He is limited in terms of what he can bring to the table but for anyone in need of points and rebounds, he is at least worth a look.

Don't expect Achiuwa to put up these numbers on a regular basis, though, and in fact, the fact that he keeps coming off the bench and that his offensive potential is limited suggests his upside will not be very high going forward. He's worth a flyer on DFS formats and as a streaming option in deeper leagues, but that's it.

Barring injuries to other players, Achiuwa is unlikely to venture into the realm of standard league relevancy this season.

Though Khem Birch picked up another start at center while OG Anunoby (finger) was sidelined for another game, Achiuwa picked up the bulk of the playing time at the position once again. He followed up a 21-point, nine-rebound performance in Saturday's loss to Atlanta with standout production in both categories once again, and he also matched his season highs in assists and three-pointers. Anunoby isn't expected back for the rest of the week, so Achiuwa and Thaddeus Young could both continue to see enhanced fantasy value in the short term.

This was easily Achiuwa's best fantasy effort in quite some time, and while the blowout scenario made it difficult to truly gauge Nick Nurse's rotation, Achiuwa looks like he'll be in position to benefit from OG Anunoby's (finger) absence. In the two games since Anunoby went down, Achiuwa has played 24 and 30 minutes, respectively. He finished Friday night's loss to Charlotte with nine points, five boards, two steals and a block.

Achiuwa tallied 18 points (6-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one steal across both legs of the Rising Stars competition at All-Star Weekend.

Achiuwa has been playing mostly off the bench this season, but it's worth noting that his last three games with 10 or more points have come when he's not in the starting unit. A high-energy player capable of getting things done on both ends of the court, he is a reliable asset for the Raptors but doesn't carry a lot of fantasy upside due to the inconsistencies on both his game and his current role.

The rookie hasn't been used much lately, but he'll enter the starting five with a number of regulars, including Bam Adebayo, taking the night off. It will be Achiuwa's first start since April 19, when he played 29 minutes and finished with eight points and 11 boards in a win over Houston.

Achiuwa will come off the bench Wednesday at San Antonio.

The 21-year-old started Monday against Houston and put up eight points (4-11 FG), 11 rebounds and one steal in 29 minutes, but he'll move back to the bench Wednesday with Bam Adebayo (knee) returning to action. Dewayne Dedmon (COVID-19 protocols) is also available, so Achiuwa figures to have a minor role off the bench for Miami.

Achiuwa will start Monday's game against Houston, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Achiuwa will make his first start since mid-January with Bam Adebayo (knee) sidelined. The rookie should have a shot at increased production Monday after he had seen just 11.5 minutes per game in his last five outings.

Achiuwa recorded two points (1-4 FG), one rebound and one block during Thursday's loss to Portland.

The rookie was a non-factor in this one, as Achiuwa also finished a minus-nine in point differential over 14 minutes of action. Achiuwa has totaled 17 points and 10 rebounds over his past five games.

Achiuwa (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Friday in the Heat's 124-116 win over the Jazz.

Considering Achiuwa had been received single-digit minutes in six of the Heat's 10 games, his move out of head coach Erik Spoelstra's rotation wasn't overly surprising. Though Achiuwa plays different positions than both Avery Bradley (calf) and Tyler Herro (hip), their impending returns could create a domino effect that results in Andre Iguodala and Duncan Robinson logging more playing time at power forward at the rookie's expense. For that reason, Achiuwa looks unlikely to bring value in single-season formats when the Heat are at full strength, though his outlook is dynasty leagues is largely unchanged.

Achiuwa had 13 points (6-7 FG, 1-1 FT) and six rebounds in Wednesday night's overtime loss to Golden State.

After his minutes waned in Week 8, Achiuwa is back to playing double-digit minutes in each of the Heat's last two games. He's still not holding a large enough role to warrant fantasy attention, but the rookie has shown some encouraging flashes this season and is a player worth monitoring in dynasty formats.

Achiuwa had eight points (3-6 FG, 2-2 FT), one rebound and two steals in Monday night's loss to the Clippers.

It was not a great loss for Miami, as the Clippers were without a number of regulars, including Patrick Beverley (rest), Paul George (toe) and Kawhi Leonard (leg). Achiuwa played double-digit minutes (12) for the first time since Feb. 5, and his two steals matched a season high. The rookie out of Memphis has some long-term fantasy appeal, but he's unlikely to be worth a roster spot this season, barring an injury or two to the Heat frontcourt.

Achiuwa scored 10 points (4-8 FG, 2-2 FT) to go along with six rebounds, three assists, two steals and three blocks across 20 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Nuggets.

The Heat were down by a large margin for much of the game, giving Achiuwa a chance for some extra run. He was particularly solid on the defensive side of floor, combining to record five blocks and steals. As the Heat welcome back more of their rotation players in the near future, Achiuwa's role figures to only shrink further.

Achiuwa posted 17 points (7-10 FG, 3-4 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists and one block across 36 minutes Tuesday in the Heat's 137-134 overtime loss to the 76ers.

With Miami down to just eight available players Tuesday, the rookie first-round pick entered the starting five for the first time and turned in career highs across the board. Achiuwa's stat line was largely underwhelming for the first three and a half quarters, but he came alive late in the contest. Over the final two minutes of the fourth quarter and overtime, Achiuwa collected six of his rebounds and scored eight of his points. Miami is expected to be shorthanded in its rematch with Philadelphia on Thursday, so Achiuwa should once again be in store for elevated minutes.

Achiuwa will start Tuesday's game at Philadelphia.

The 21-year-old will receive the first start of his career since Miami has the mandatory minimum of eight players available due to the COVID-19 protocols. Achiuwa is averaging 7.3 points and 4.4 rebounds in 15.1 minutes this season but should see more run Tuesday.

Achiuwa looks to have secured a spot in the Heat's rotation to begin the season.

The rookie out of Memphis played 14 minutes off the bench on opening night and followed up with 19 minutes on Christmas Day against the Pelicans before fouling out. Fantasy-wise, Achiuwa's upside is relatively limited, but he should be an efficient scorer around the rim with the potential to provide some rebounds and blocks.
