The Knicks will hope that the 22-year-old guard can continue his efficient shooting and provide a much-needed offensive boost as they advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

The Knicks got Jalen Brunson back from a two-game absence for the contest, but the star guard managed just 19 minutes before being forced out again with left foot soreness. That shifted much of the offensive focus back on Barrett, and he responded with a team-high 25 points. Barrett has played well when Brunson has been out, averaging 27.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists over his past three games. He's already a must-roster player, but Barrett's fantasy stock will jump a notch if Brunson is forced to miss more time.

Barrett struggled to get anything going offensively and didn't register any marks in the defensive categories during an underwhelming fantasy night. The lefty did grab seven boards, his most since Feb. 2, but it certainly wasn't enough to mitigate his poor production elsewhere. Barrett has been susceptible to an occasional off night in the early stages of his career but tends to bounce back, so fantasy managers shouldn't take too much away from Monday's outing.

Barrett finished Saturday's 128-106 win over New Orleans with 25 points (8-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and seven assists in 29 minutes.

Barrett was efficient from both the floor and the line, something that certainly can't be said on a nightly basis. Despite averaging almost 20 points per game this season, Barrett is well outside the top 200 in standard formats. Outside of points and triples, he offers very little on either end of the floor. Case in point, he is currently averaging 0.7 combined steals and blocks in 34.3 minutes per night. Hold him if you can deal with the flaws but outside of that, feel free to send him packing.

Barrett has been on a tear of late and has been one of New York's main scoring threats in recent weeks, making at least eight field goals in each of his last seven appearances and scoring at least 20 points five times during that stretch. The lack of consistency on a game-to-game basis has been a huge issue for the former Duke star this season, but he seems to be moving in the right direction. Barrett is averaging 21.7 points per game in December.

The Knicks forward has scored 20 or more points in three of his last five games but continues to underwhelm in most other stat categories.

Barrett reached the 30-point mark for the first time this season and was a key cog in the win over the Pistons, but the uptick in his scoring figures has been noticeable since the turn of the month. He's averaging 22.7 points per game while shooting 48 percent from the field in six November appearances, which is an upgrade compared to the figures he posted in October in the same categories -- 17.7 points per game and 40 percent from the field.

Barrett collected 16 points (5-14 FG, 2-4 3PT, 4-8 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 30 minutes Wednesday against Brooklyn.

Barrett managed to score in double figures but struggled to find his shooting touch. It was his lowest scoring performance since Oct. 30 against Cleveland for a guard who averaged 19.6 points through his first 10 contests of the 2022-23 campaign. On a more positive note, Barrett has recorded a steal in five straight matchups.

Barrett remains a serviceable offensive threat and plays a major role in the Knicks' offense, but his numbers have regressed a bit compared to what he accomplished in the 2021-22 campaign, particularly in the scoring and efficiency categories.

Barrett was fine in the loss, without doing anything too spectacular. The fact he shot 60 percent from the field and didn't make it to the line were both positives, highlighting just how rough his percentages have been. While he is quite clearly a 12-team commodity, he does come with his obvious flaws. Anyone who drafted him should have been prepared for the empty lines, making this a serviceable effort.

The 22-year-old continues to struggle to be an efficient scorer and has made only 37.0 percent of his field-goal attempts in the early going.

Barrett finished Friday's 130-106 win over the Pistons with 18 points (8-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one block over 28 minutes.

After a disastrous 3-for-18 shooting performance in New York's first game of the season, a three-point loss in Memphis on Wednesday, Barrett looked a lot more comfortable in the Knicks' home opener. The fourth-year wing led the starting five in scoring, but after coming into the year as a career 35.3 percent shooter from three-point range, he's 0-for-9 from beyond the arc so far in 2022-23.

With a huge four-year contract extension in his pocket, Barrett got his preseason off to a flying start, leading all scorers on the night with an impressive display of offense. The Knicks are setting expectations high after they also added Jalen Brunson to the backcourt, and they'll need Barrett to take another step forward in his development after the 22-year-old averaged 20 points a game for the first time last season.

Barrett and the Knicks began finalizing a four-year, $120 million contract extension Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Poor shooting is something that fantasy managers should be used to by now, an element of his game that certainly limits his overall value. With that said, if you are prepared for the hit to those two categories, nights like this are truly a blessing.

Julius Randle (46 points) was the star of the show for New York on Monday, but Barrett served as a more-than-capable sidekick with a strong all-around effort. The third-year forward hit over half of his field-goal attempts for the first time in five contests and rounded out his stat line with eight boards and a team-leading six assists. Barrett has now scored at least 20 points in six straight games.

Barrett supplied 24 points (8-18 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-7 FT), nine rebounds and four assists over 33 minutes during Sunday's 116-93 win over the Clippers.

The Knicks rode a big second quarter to cruise to a blowout win with Barrett's 24 points ending up as the game-high. While New York has mostly sputtered of late, Barrett continues to display more consistency as a scorer, having topped 20 points in eight of his last nine games. For the season, he's up to a career-best 19.0 points per game, though he's shooting only 41.2 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from three (down from 40.1% 3Pt in 2020-21).

Barrett contributed 30 points (10-23 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 7-8 FT), six rebounds and seven assists over 40 minutes during Wednesday's 123-108 loss to the 76ers.

Barrett led all scorers in the loss, continuing his strong season. While the Knicks did manage to blow yet another double-digit lead, Barrett can certainly hold his head high. On an interesting side note, the seven assists also marked his highest total since all the way back in November of 2019. His lack of defensive contributions do drag down his overall value but his improved offensive output is enough for him to be considered a must-roster player in all formats.

Barrett (ankle) poured in a career-high 46 points (13-22 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 14-22 FT) and added nine rebounds and two assists across 38 minutes Friday in the Knicks' 115-100 loss to the Heat.

If not for his poor showing from the free-throw line, Barrett would have turned in one of the top overall fantasy lines of the NBA's nine-game Friday slate, but those that used him in DFS or get him active in season-long leagues certainly won't complain about his elite scoring production on efficient shooting from the field and downtown. Given that he's converting at only a 41.7 percent clip from the field and 36.2 percent rate from distance for the season, Barrett can't be relied upon for regular 40-point outbursts, but he looks like a solid option in 12-team leagues now that he's healthy again. Barrett had previously missed the Knicks' last four games with a left ankle sprain.

Considering that he could be rusty when he returns in addition to the Knicks likely adding another high-usage player back to the mix in Derrick Rose (ankle) following the All-Star break, Barrett probably shouldn't be expected to immediately resume producing at the level he had been prior to spraining his ankle.

It wasn't the most efficient shooting night for Barrett, who hit just three of his 12 attempts from two-point range, but he had an uncharacteristically efficient night at the free throw line, where he's hitting just 68.9 percent of his attempts on the year. With Julius Randle looking like a complete shell of himself, Barrett has taken over as the Knicks' top offensive threat over the last few weeks. He's now scored at least 15 points in 15 of his last 16 games, averaging 22.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 0.9 steals and 2.3 threes during that run.

Barrett scored 24 points (9-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-10 FT), tacking on five rebounds, four assists and two steals across 34 minutes during Monday's 95-93 loss to the Cavaliers.

Although going five-for-10 from the free-throw line loomed large in a two-point defeat, Barrett was productive once again. His ability to slash inside against a Cavaliers team that is solid defensively is noteworthy. Behind Julius Randle, Barrett seems entrenched as the second scoring option for the Knicks moving forward.

Barrett recorded 28 points (9-24 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 14 rebounds, six assists and one block in 43 minutes during Sunday's 110-102 win over the Clippers.

Barrett is excellent at going left when driving to the basket, but he made almost all of his shots with his right hand, confounding Clippers defenders who had schemed the former Duke standout differently. The 21-year old is having a great January, averaging 22.9 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists over 11 games.

Barrett totaled 18 points (7-18 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists and two steals across 39 minutes during Monday's 97-87 loss to the Hornets.

Barrett saw slightly less production on the scoreboard Monday after totaling at least 26 points in each of the last three games, but he led the Knicks in rebounds en route to his second double-double of the 2021-22 campaign. After having his playing time monitored in late December following a lengthy absence, the 21-year-old has resumed his normal workload and has been a strong fantasy contributor.

On the season, the lefty forward is averaging 16.9 points on 35.7 percent shooting from distance, so Barrett is likely due for a regression soon. However, fantasy managers shouldn't fret over the inevitable and enjoy what is arguably the best stretch of the third-year pro's career so far.

The former Duke star has been struggling with his shot through most of the season and his overall numbers are down compared to the previous campaign, but he seems to be turning things around of late. This was his second straight game with 30-plus points and he's now cleared that mark in three of his last five contests.

Barrett dropped at least 30 points for just the fifth time in his career, coming alive in the victory. The game was in the balance until Barrett took over, flashing his offensive upside in the process. Of course, we know not to expect this kind of performance on a nightly basis. Despite this effort, fantasy managers would certainly like to see some peripheral numbers to go along with increased efficiency when considering his all-around skill set.

Barrett ended Saturday's 99-75 loss to the Celtics with 19 points (7-21 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-5 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two steals over 43 minutes.

Barrett played the hero in the previous matchup between the teams Thursday, but he had to settle for leading New York in scoring in the lopsided rematch. The third-year guard didn't shoot particularly well, but neither did the Knicks as a whole -- they shot just 36.7 percent from the field as a team. Barrett has notched double-digit scoring in six straight contests, his longest streak racking up seven consecutive games with at least 10 points from Oct. 24 to Nov. 5.

Barrett salvaged a poor shooting night by banking in a game-winning, desperation three pointer as time expired. After missing six games due to COVID-19 protocols in mid-December, the third-year pro registered back-to-back single-digit scoring performances. However, he's bounced back to score in double figures in five straight games and is averaging 21.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists during those contests. Barrett will look to rebound from his poor shooting performance in Saturday's rematch at Boston.

Barrett ended with 32 points (12-20 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-8 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one steal in 42 minutes during Tuesday's 104-94 victory over Indiana.

The sell-high window on Barrett is wildly flapping in the wind right now, as he continues what has been one of the best stretches of his career. Based on what we have seen in the past, there is almost certainly a regression coming, meaning the time to sell is now. As long as the Knicks are without a couple of primary options, Barrett should continue logging heavy minutes on a nightly basis. If you are simply looking for points and rebounds, feel free to just ride this one out if the other managers in your league are hesitant to take the bait.

The Duke product continues to be a solid source of offense for the Knicks as Julius Randle (COVID-19) remains watching from home. While Barrett is usually a high-risk, high-reward fantasy option, he does seem to have a higher floor as long as Randle is out of the lineup.

Barrett is about as inconsistent as you will find but he could be worth streaming in until they get a few more bodies back on the floor.

Barrett looks like an improved player in his third NBA season, but he's still prone to more off nights than fantasy managers would prefer.

It had been a tepid start to the season for Barrett, who was essentially a super-role-player on a deep Knicks roster, but this was easily his best performance to date. Barrett's 35 points were a career best, while his six three-pointers tied a career high. The No. 3 overall pick in 2019 was coming off of a 20-point effort against the Bulls on Thursday, so he's scored in double-figures in consecutive games for the first time since April 28 and May 2 of last season. Fantasy-wise, Barrett remains a high-upside option capable of posting valuable points, rebounds and assists totals, but he doesn't add much on defense, and his free throw percentage is a liability.

Barrett's major shooting percentages had been down across the board coming into Thursday, but he bounced back well. One exception withheld, Barrett has attempted double-digit shots in 26 straight games. This sets the stage for a solid fantasy floor, and it is important to remember that Barrett is still just 21 years old. His rest-of-season outlook possesses major upside.

Barrett had 10 points (4-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt), seven rebounds and one assist in 31 minutes during Tuesday's 112-99 win over the Sixers.

Barrett played a team-high 47 minutes. He looked poised, taking crunch time shots with defenders in his face. Barrett is still just 21-years-old, meaning improvement is nearly guaranteed. That has value in and of itself in fantasy. Dynasty owners can be bullish on Barrett and he has a good matchup awaiting him in Orlando on Friday.

Barrett accumulated 17 points (7-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and one steal in 25 minutes during Tuesday's 125-104 preseason win over the Pacers.

Barrett's three-point shooting looked great, and he's coming off a season where he improved from 32.0 percent to 40.1 percent. Surprisingly, he didn't get to the free-throw line, but that should correct next game.

Barrett finished with 17 points (5-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and a block across 40 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Hawks.

Barrett didn't look like himself during the first-round series against the Hawks but at least surpassed the 15-point mark in the last two appearances. The former Duke standout averaged just 14.4 points per game while shooting 38.8 percent from the field during the playoffs -- in comparison, he scored 17.6 points per game while shooting 44.1 percent from the field during the regular season.

It was easily the best scoring game of the series for Barrett, who struggled to finish with just seven points in Game 3 on Friday night. Barrett and Julius Randle combined for 44 points, 16 boards, 11 assists and four steals Sunday, but it wasn't enough to prevent the Hawks, who hit 15 three-pointers, from taking a 3-1 advantage. The Knicks are off Monday and Tuesday before the series resumes from New York City on Wednesday night.

Barrett tallied 13 points (5-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 101-92 win over the Hawks.

The 20-year-old came up two rebounds shy of posting his second straight double-double. Over his first two career playoff games, Barrett is averaging 13.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 three-pointers on 37.9 percent field-goal shooting in that span. The second-year guard will look to keep up his solid production in points and rebounds on the road in Game 3 on Friday.

The Knicks leaned heavily on their bench for scoring Sunday, but Barrett turned in a respectable shooting line, despite hitting just one of his six three-point attempts. The lefty is shooting 44.2 percent over his last six games, but he is only shooting 33.3 percent from inside arc during that stretch, including 3-for-10 Thursday. Despite the inconsistent shooting, Barrett grabbed nine rebounds (most since April 24) and dished out five assists (most since May 2).

Barrett has shot 43.2 percent from the field since the beginning of April, however, so he's due for a bounce-back performance sooner than later.

May has not been kind to Barrett as he's shooting 38.3 percent from the floor, though he's had much better luck from beyond the arc hitting 50.0 percent of his threes. Barrett has still managed to score 15 points or more in four of his five contests this month while grabbing an average of 6.4 boards and dishing out 3.2 assists over that span. Barrett has seen his production increase across the board in his second season sans steals.

Barrett had 23 points (8-22 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds and three assists in Friday's loss to Phoenix.

It wasn't the most efficient night for Barrett, but he's becoming increasingly comfortable from beyond the arc, where he's shooting 45.5 percent on 7.0 attempts per game over his last 11 starts. That's an incredibly encouraging sign for the second-year guard, who shot just 32.0 percent from deep a season ago. Barrett's free-throw percentage is also up to 74.5 percent, compared to his rookie-year figure of 61.4 percent.

Barrett has surpassed the 20-point mark in three of his last four games and has also scored more than 15 points in each of his eight contests, so his role as the Knicks' second-best scoring threat behind Julius Randle is quite safe. He's doing more than just putting up points on the board, though, as he's also averaging 6.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game during that aforementioned eight-game span.

The 20-year-old been on a roll over his last five games, averaging 21.4 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.5 three-pointers while shooting 45.2 percent from the field in that span. Barrett is shooting a much improved 44.6 percent from this field this season compared to just 40.2 percent in his rookie year. The second-year guard will look to help the Knicks win their 10th game in a row on Monday against the Suns.

Barrett snapped a five-game streak of posting at least one steal, and his six turnovers were his most in any game this season. Prior to Sunday, Barrett had committed just four total turnovers over his last five games.

Barrett totaled 24 points (9-18 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-5 FT), eight rebounds and two assists across 46 minutes in a 117-109 victory over the Mavericks on Friday.

Julius Randle stole the show with his 44-point effort, but Barrett played an effective sidekick to lead New York to its 30th win of the campaign. The 20-year-old logged a season-high 46 minutes and hit half of his field-goal attempts after going just 4-for-21 over his previous two games. Barrett has improved in nearly every statistical category in his second season, posting per-game averages of 17.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.4 three-pointers.

Barrett registered seven points (2-11 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in 33 minutes during Monday's win over the Lakers.

The 20-year-old's seven-point performance was his lowest scoring output since Feb. 23. Before Monday's game, Barrett was averaging 20.8 points, 3.2 three-pointers, 3.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.0 steals over his past five games. He'll look to get back on track Wednesday on the road against the Pelicans.

Barrett delivered a strong shooting performance and looked sharp from three-point range once again. The former Duke standout has drained two or more threes in four games in a row and has hit 15 of his last 22 shots from beyond the arc. He has also registered multiple threes in six of his last seven contests.

Barrett supplied 20 points (7-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, two assists and a steal across 34 minutes in Friday's overtime win over the Grizzlies.

Barrett has been on quite a scoring run of late, reaching the 20-point mark in three straight games and accomplishing that feat in seven of his last 10 contests. The second-year guard out of Duke has taken a massive leap this season and has established himself as the Knicks' second-best offensive threat behind Julius Randle -- he's averaging 19.0 points per game while shooting 45 percent from the field and 48 percent from three-point range during that aforementioned 10-game stretch.

Barrett delivered 29 points (10-14 FG, 6-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and two assists across 36 minutes in Wednesday's loss against the Celtics.

Barrett carried the Knicks offensively in this game and delivered one of his best shooting performances of the season, missing just four shots from the field and going 6-for-6 from behind the arc. Barrett has now scored at least 20 points in three of his last five games and has also drained two or more treys in four of his last five contests. He contributes with rebounds on a regular basis and can chip in with assists from time to time as well, but Barrett's main source of value comes from what he can do scoring the rock.

Barrett scored 22 points (7-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go along with four rebounds across 33 minutes in Monday's loss to the Nets.

Barrett topped 20 points for the second time in his last five games on the strength of four threes and otherwise efficient shooting. The rest of his line was fairly empty, as he contributed no defensive stats or assists for the second time in his last three contests. Even so, Barrett should continue to see a heavy workload in terms of both minutes and usage down the stretch.

Barrett (ankle) will play Saturday against the Pistons.

As expected, Barrett will see the court despite an ankle injury. Over the past five games, he's averaged 16.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 36.8 minutes.

Barrett finished with eight points (4-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds and four assists in Monday's loss to the Heat.

Barrett had been playing well over the last several games, but this was one to forget for the second-year guard. Barrett missed all four of his three-point attempts and posted meager complementary numbers, while failing to record a steal or block for the just the second time in his last nine appearances.

Barrett co-led the Knicks in scoring alongside Alec Burks, but he also paced the team in assists while ending as the fourth-best rebounder. Barrett has been struggling from the field in recent weeks and needed 22 shots to deliver 21 points in this one, but that won't matter much if he continues to scoring at a strong clip while also posting decent numbers in other categories. He is doing enough to make up for his lack of accuracy from the field.

The 20-year-old only shot 32 percent from the field but provided fantasy managers with plenty of other goodies across the board to make up for it. Barrett matched season highs in assists and steals with five and three, respectively. He's looking at 35-40 minutes a game the rest of the way with the Knicks sitting as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Barrett was able to finish with a solid line in a game that the Knicks got outscored 26-14 in the fourth quarter. Coming off a game where he made all 10 of his free throws, Barrett struggled from the line Tuesday, making only 42.9 percent of his attempts. The guard's streak of four consecutive games of scoring at least 21 points also came to an end. Barrett will continue to provide fantasy managers with solid all-around stats due to volume and consistent playing time.

Barrett recorded 23 points (6-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 10-10 FT), six rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block during Monday's loss to Brooklyn.

Coming off a career-high 32-point outing Saturday against the Thunder, Barrett stayed hot and dropped at least 20 points for a fourth straight matchup in Monday's defeat. Since posting just four points against the Warriors on Feb. 23, Barrett has stepped things up offensively and is averaging 21.3 points over his past eight games played.

Barrett registered 32 points (12-21 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-7 FT), five rebounds, three assists and three steals in 36 minutes during Saturday's win over Oklahoma City.

The 20-year-old had the best game of his young career, scoring 30-plus points for the first time while contributing across the board. The young guard has had an up-and-down season, but he's been a consistent scorer, averaging 16.7 points on 45 percent shooting through 38 games. Barrett's across-the-board production will be inconsistent, but he's locked into heavy minutes moving forward and should provide plenty of points along with low-end three-pointers, rebounds and steals.

Barrett's 22 points were the consolation tally for a Knicks team that failed to get going at Milwaukee. He has been quite excellent across their past five games, averaging 20.6 points on an impressive 58.2 field-goal percentage. Barrett isn't expected to maintain that level of production but is showing more stability at this point in his sophomore campaign.

The Knicks picked up their third straight win, and Barrett has now logged 20-plus points in back-to-back games for the first time since late January. Over his last seven games, Barrett is averaging 16.9 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists, while shooting 60.9 percent from three (14-of-23).

Barrett recorded 24 points (8-17 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 4-7 FT), seven rebounds and two assists Saturday in a 110-107 win versus Indiana.

Half of Barrett's 24 points were attributed to three-pointers, the four he made tying his season best. Barrett has scored at least 25 in four other games this season but logged his scoring high for the month on Saturday. Barrett is averaging 13.6 points across 13 February games, with one left at Detroit on Sunday.

Barrett collected 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt), three rebounds and three assists in the Knicks' 140-121 victory over the Kings on Thursday.

Barrett was able to bounce back after making just 1-of-9 shots Tuesday. He was also able to make multiple threes for only the third time this month. Barrett continues to provide fantasy managers with solid scoring and a handful of rebounds and assists each game. Elfrid Payton (hamstring) missed the game Thursday, and if he is to miss more time, Barrett could play the role of facilitator more in the Knicks' offense.

Barrett scored four points (1-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and added 10 rebounds and one assist in the Knicks' 114-106 loss to the Warriors on Tuesday.

While it was a tough night shooting for Barrett as he made just one shot, he was able to secure double-digit rebounds for only the fourth time this season. He also had to deal with some foul trouble and fouled out of the game late in the fourth. In his second-year in the league, he is averaging more points, rebounds and assists then he did in his rookie season while also shooting a higher percentage from the field.

Barrett posted 21 points (10-20 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds, an assist, a steal and a blocked shot across 34 minutes in Sunday's 103-99 win over the Timberwolves.

Although the Knicks blew a 21-point lead, they managed to squeak out the win on Sunday. Barrett created shots out in space and left most of the ball movement to Elfrid Payton. After two tepid outings against the Rockets and the Wizards, Barrett's bounced back with a trio of decent stat lines.

Barrett dropped 15 points (5-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block over 27 minutes Wednesday during the loss to the Magic.

Barrett, Julius Randle, and Elfrid Payton were the only Knicks players to score in double figures in the blowout loss. Barrett is averaging 18.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 52.0 percent from the floor in his last two outings after stringing together four straight subpar performances.

Barrett and the Knicks will not play Saturday against the Spurs after the game was postponed, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Wednesday's game at Orlando is on as scheduled, but the Spurs are dealing with multiple COVID-19 positives, so the league has nixed all of their remaining games for the week.

He's now played fewer than 30 minutes in four consecutive games after previously clearing the 30-minute mark in each of the preceding six contests. Barrett hasn't made a strong case to see his playing time pick up, as he's struggled over this most recent four-game stretch with averages of 7.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists on 26.8 percent shooting from the field. The Knicks will travel to Miami to face the Heat once again on Tuesday, so look for Barrett to try and make up for this effort.

Barrett had 18 points (8-14 FG, 2-2 3Pt), seven rebounds and three assists during Saturday's 110-99 win over Portland.

The 20-year-old came into Saturday's contest averaging 17.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists this season, and he hit those marks during the victory. Barrett should take his usual place in the starting lineup in the second half of the back-to-back set Sunday versus Miami.

Barrett recorded 17 points (8-16 FG, 0-1 3PT, 1-3 FT to go along with seven rebounds and two assists across 32 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Bulls.

Barrett used a strong second quarter in which he made all four shots from the field to account for a large portion of his production. He rebounded from a poor shooting night in his last game, though his struggles from the free-throw line reemerged. Barrett has taken a significant step forward in that area -- he's shooting 74.5 percent this season as compared 61.4 percent in his rookie season -- so there should be some optimism he'll return to form in future contests.

Barrett scored 14 points (7-17 FG, 0-3 3PT) to go along with seven rebounds and three assists across 30 minutes in Monday's loss to the Bulls.

Barrett was coming off back-to-back games where he couldn't reach the 20-point mark, but he has reached that tally in nine of his 20 contests this season -- that's a marked increase from his rookie year where he accomplished that feat in just 13 contests across 56 appearances. Barrett should remain as New York's second-best scoring option behind Julius Randle, and he should provide decent value across most formats due to his scoring ability.

Barrett had 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 0-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal in Tuesday's 108-94 loss to the Jazz.

Barrett put up a better performance than his eight-point night Sunday (at Portland) by more than doubling his scoring tally Tuesday. He started this current road trip by logging his scoring high during a win at Golden State (on Jan. 21) before the Knicks lost thrice in succession. Barrett averaged 15.3 points while shooting 51.4 percent from the field across those three losses.

Barrett posted 21 points (8-17 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds and three assists across 36 minutes in a loss to Sacramento on Friday.

The former Duke Blue Devil continues to grow in his second NBA campaign, as he has now broken the 20-point mark in five of his last six contests. Over that span, Barrett is averaging 21.7 points and 6.5 rebounds while converting 50.5 percent of his field-goal attempts and going 9-for-20 from deep (45.0 percent).

Barrett totaled 28 points (10-17 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-8 FT) and five assists in a win over the Warriors on Thursday.

Barrett has improved his consistency as a scorer of late, notching at least 19 points in each of his last five games. He has also drilled two three-pointers in three of his past four games, going 6-for-14 from beyond the arc over that span. The Knicks are back to .500 on the season and riding a three-game winning streak, with Barrett playing a major role in the resurgence.

Barrett compiled a team-high 22 points (9-19 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go with 10 boards, four assists and one block across 38 minutes in Monday's 91-84 win over the Magic.

Barrett's efficiency from the field and three-point range has remained an issue in his second NBA season, but the 20-year-old has made some notable strides at the charity stripe. Over his last four games, Barrett has gone 20-for-22 (90.9 percent) from the line, lifting his season-long rate to 75.3 percent. While that's still a below-average mark for a guard, it still represents a 14-point increase from his rookie season.

Since going 11-for-15 from the field while knocking down all three of his attempts from distance in the Knicks' season-opening loss to the Pacers, Barrett has reverted to the poor shooting that marred his rookie campaign. Over the Knicks' subsequent 10 games, Barrett has converted at a 33.1 percent clip from the field, while knocking down a lowly 69.4 percent of his free throws on 4.9 attempts per contest. Barrett's efficiency should improve to some degree, but probably not enough for him not to be a major liability in both of the percentage categories.

Barrett logged 19 points (7-21 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-7 FT), seven rebounds, two assists a steal and a blocked shot across 44 minutes in Friday's 101-89 loss to the Thunder.

Barrett's solid play is one reason why the Knicks are off to a great start, but the team couldn't get the offense going against the Thunder. Last season's first-round pick is a usage beast for the Knicks, averaging more minutes than any other player on the team. There's a bit of variance in his scoring numbers, but his contribution in ancillary categories helps out his fantasy totals.

Barrett scored 26 points (10-19 FG, 1-5 3PT, 5-7 FT) to go along with 11 rebounds, five assists and two steals across 44 minutes in Monday's win over the Hawks.

Barrett's relatively strong counting stats early in the offseason were offset by his horrible shooting from the field. However, he's turned things around recently and has now made 18 of his 34 shots from the field across his last two contests. Barrett also notched the second double-double of his career, racking up a new single-game high with 11 boards. Barrett is getting every opportunity to prove he can breakout in his second season, as he's topped 35 minutes in each of his last six games.

Barrett totaled 25 points (8-15 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds and three assists in Saturday's victory versus Indiana.

Barrett bounced back from a rough 4-for-19 shooting effort his last time out, posting his highest point total and best shooting percentage since New York's opening game. He also snapped an 0-for-21 cold spell from beyond the arc with a superb 4-for-5 effort from deep. Despite some early-season shooting struggles, Barrett has scored in double figures in each of the Knicks' six games this season.

Barrett posted 12 points (4-19 FG, 0-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and a steal across 37 minutes in Thursday's loss against the Raptors.

Barrett has scored in double digits in every one of his five appearances this season, but he has surpassed the 15-point mark just once since beginning the season with a 26-point effort. What's even more worrisome is the fact Barrett has struggled massively from the field, as he is shooting just 25.8 percent from the field and 5.3 percent from three-point range across his last four contests.

Barrett finished with 17 points (7-17 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and one steal in 38 minutes Sunday in the Knicks' 130-110 win over the Bucks.

After going 11-for-15 from the field in the Knicks' season-opening loss to the Pacers, Barrett regressed hard in Saturday's loss to the 76ers, hitting two of his 15 shot attempts on the night. He landed somewhere in between the two extremes Sunday, producing the sort of stat line that is probably going to be more replicable on a regular basis. Barrett remains likely to have far more value in points leagues than rotisserie formats by season's end, but his percentages should at least be marginally less toxic as he gains more confidence in his shot in his second NBA season.

Barrett had scored his first eight field goals against the Pacers on Wednesday. He went completely backward Saturday, missing nine shots before even making one. It is a testament to the inconsistency Barrett had over his rookie campaign, and he will need to limit that for some better fantasy value this season.

Barrett lead his team in scoring and finished second in assists in his team's loss. Across the board, the standout second-year man looked like he was ready to step into the role of team leader. The road to start the season won't get much easier with a tilt against the 76ers up next on Saturday.

Barrett scored 16 points (6-12 FG, 1-4 3PT, 3-3 FT), had six rebounds, and two assists during 33 minutes of Wednesday's 100-93 preseason win over the Cavaliers.

Barrett played a significant role on Wednesday, pacing the Knicks with 33 minutes in the game. The guard finished with the second highest point and rebound totals on the team and should be given every opportunity to build on an average rookie campaign as one of the Knicks nailed on starters this season.

Barrett led all scorers on the evening, but he also paced everyone in minutes and shots. While the 20-year-old has totaled 40 points in two preseason matchups so far, he has yet to get his stroke going from beyond the arc, as he's made just one of his nine attempts from long distance.

Barrett provided 15 points (7-16 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT, along with five rebounds and two assists in 29 minutes Friday, as the Knicks beat the Pistons 90-84.

Barrett matched Julius Randle with a game-high 29 minutes played. Barrett needed 16 shots to accumulate his 15 points, but those figures fall right in line with the 40.3 percent shooting he registered as a rookie. As a rookie, Barrett averaged 14.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 30.4 minutes per game.

Barrett collected 16 points (5-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT), six rebounds, four steals and one assist in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 122-115 loss to the Wizards.

Barrett recorded at least one steal for the fifth straight game to begin the month of March. Moreover, he has scored in double figures in seven straight matchups. Barrett's efficiency leaves plenty to be desired, but he's likely to provide quality counting stats down the stretch this season.

Barrett produced 12 points (5-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists and a steal across 26 minutes in Sunday's 96-84 win over Detroit.

Although Barrett has been less consistent since his nine-game absence, he's still putting together respectable stat lines. He's averaging 14.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists over the past 13 games, which is about what he was producing before being sidelined. The Duke product is one of the best players out of the 2019 draft class but needs to improve his 39.3 field-goal percentage if he wants to take his game to the next level.

Barrett had 17 points (5-12 FG, 1-3 3PT, 6-6 FT), four rebounds and three assists in Friday's loss to the Thunder.

Barrett struggled from the field and committed four turnovers, but he's still averaging 18.4 points on 52.3 percent shooting over his last five games. The rookie has hit his last nine free throw attempts, which has helped pull his season-long conversation rate up to 60.8 percent.

Barrett went for 27 points (10-18 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-7 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Monday's 125-123 win over the Rockets.

This was Barrett's best game since returning from a nine-game absence between January and February, as he tied his season-high mark for points while looking very efficient from the field. The Duke product has also scored in double digits in six of his last seven games, averaging 17.1 points on 45.2 percent shooting during that stretch.

Barrett contributed 15 points (6-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and five assists in 35 minutes during Thursday's loss to the 76ers.

While Barrett is putting up decent counting stats of 13.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 0.9 steals per game on the season, his fantasy rank is still miles away from standard-league territory because of his poor shooting (38.9 percent from the field, and 60.4 percent from the line) and turnovers. The 19-year old is seeing a 25.2 usage rate this season, and could potentially have the ball in his hands even more down the stretch. Hopefully head coach Mike Miller allows his rookie to show off his playmaking skills a bit more.

Barrett notched 21 points (8-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-7 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 34 minutes during Monday's 123-112 loss at Houston.

Barrett has been on the rise of late and has topped himself -- from a scoring point of view -- in each of his last five games while topping the 15-point plateau in each of his last three outings. The rookie out of Duke missed nine games between January and early February, but he is averaging 12.4 points in the five games he's played as a starter since then. He is expected to remain in that role moving forward.

Barrett registered 17 points (8-19 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-3 FT), four rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes during Friday's 106-98 loss against the Pacers.

Barrett missed nine games between January and February and moved back to the starting lineup four contests ago, but he is averaging just 10.3 points per game -- while shooting 32.7 percent from the field -- in those four starts. That said, Barrett is coming off 16-point and 17-point performances against the Wizards and the Pacers, so he seems to be on the rise of late.

Barrett tallied 27 points (11-17 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, five assists and three steals in 24 minutes during Friday's Team World loss to Team USA in the Rising Stars Challenge.

Barrett may have put up his best line of the season in the loss, demonstrating where he currently sits in terms of overall fantasy value. He is currently the 334th ranked player in nine-category formats despite playing more than 30 minutes a night. He offers very little outside of scoring and his percentages are a real concern. The Knicks have absolutely nothing to play for and so it makes sense that Barrett should continue to see big minutes moving forward. He is fine to have on your roster if you can deal with the inefficiencies and simply need a boost in points.

Barrett posted 16 points (5-16 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT) and five rebounds across 29 minutes Wednesday in the Knicks' 114-96 loss to the Wizards.

This was the best of Barrett's four outings since he returned to action earlier this month following a nine-game absence due to a sprained ankle, but that's mostly a testament to how poorly he performed in the prior three contests. A 61.1 percent free-throw shooter for the season, Barrett needed an uncharacteristically strong showing from the line to make up for his typically inefficient shooting from the field. The rookie doesn't look like a must-roster player in most 12-team leagues at this time, though he's far more valuable in points formats, where his wretched percentages won't hurt him.

Barrett will start Saturday's game against the Pistons.

In his second game back from injury, Barrett returns to the starting five. Since the new year, he's averaged 15.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 28.8 minutes.

Barrett has a good chance at starting Saturday's game against Detroit, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.

Barrett looks set to take on his usual starting role after scoring 12 points in 18 minutes in his return from a nine-game absence due to an ankle injury. He'll presumably take over for Frank Ntilikina, with Reggie Bullock likely staying on as the first-unit small forward.

Barrett (ankle) notched 12 points (3-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-9 FT), three rebounds and three assists in 18 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 105-103 win over the Magic.

The Duke product returned after a nine-game absence and while he came off the bench here, he shouldn't waste time to recover his starting role alongside Elfrid Payton in the backcourt. He averaged 15.6 points per game in his last five starts prior to the injury.

Barrett (ankle) will be available for Thursday's game against Orlando.

As expected, the rookie will make his return to the floor for the first time in several weeks, but he'll come off the bench and could face a minutes limitation.

The injury came at a tough time for Barrett, who had just been starting to show improved efficiency with his shooting. Over his final six games before getting hurt, Barrett converted 44.3 percent of his field goals, 42.9 percent of his three-point attempts and 75.6 percent of his free-throw tries, all of which were well ahead of his season-long shooting splits (39.3/32.9/60.3 percent, respectively).

Barrett (ankle) has transitioned from crutches to a walking boot and will be re-evaluated in one week.

While Barrett's making progress in his return from a severe right ankle sprain, he'll be held out for at least another week. If he's cleared during his re-evaluation, Barrett will need to go through a series of tests in practice prior to being allowed to return to game action. Look for the team to provide a more defined timeline once Barret's evaluated again.

Barrett (ankle) is expected to "be evaluated soon," Steve Popper of Newsday reports.

Barrett has already missed over a week due to a right ankle sprain, though it sounds as though the Knicks may evaluate the rookie within the next few days. An updated timetable for his return should come following the evaluation.

He has shown flashes of being an efficient scorer and while his shooting percentages remain heavily inconsistent, he is doing enough to remain fantasy relevant regardless of the format.

Barrett chipped in 23 points (7-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 8-10 FT), five rebounds, three assists and two steals in 40 minutes during Sunday's 124-121 win over the Heat.

Barrett was extremely efficient offensively, finishing with over twice as many points as field goal attempts while committing zero turnovers. He has scored at least 20 nine times through 39 appearances and continues to be a solid source of counting stats, albeit with subpar efficiency on most nights.

Barrett scored 16 points (5-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-8 FT) while adding nine rebounds, two assists and two steals in 33 minutes during Friday's 123-111 loss to the Pelicans.

The rookie has scored in double digits in five straight games, his longest such streak so far, and Barrett fell one board shy of his third double-double. The 19-year-old remains an inconsistent contributor in other categories, but he's starting to become a reliable asset on offense for the Knicks despite the muddled and underpowered roster around him.
