Out another week
Barrett (knee) will sidelined for at least one more week following a PRP injection, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
After Tuesday's game against the Knicks, the Raptors will be off until Dec. 18. Barrett hasn't played since Nov. 23, and he remains without an official timetable for a return.
Dec 6, 2025
Another absence coming
Barrett (knee) will not play Sunday against the Celtics, Esfandiar Baraheni of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett hasn't played since Nov. 23, and there's been no update on a potential return. He's due to re-evaluated any day now, but for now, he can be considered doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Knicks.
Dec 5, 2025
Remains out indefinitely
Barrett (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Hornets, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett hasn't played since Nov. 23 and is due for re-evaluation any day now. However, until the Raptors release more info, Barrett can be considered doubtful for Sunday's game against the Celtics. In Barrett's absence, Ja'Kobe Walter has secured a spot in the starting lineup.
Nov 26, 2025
Out at least one week
The Raptors announced Wednesday that an MRI on Barrett's right knee revealed no structural damage, Esfandiar Baraheni of The Athletic reports. He has been diagnosed with a sprain and will be re-evaluated in seven days before the team updates his status.
ANALYSIS
Though Barrett looks to set to avoid surgery to address the knee injury he sustained in Sunday's win over the Nets, he'll be sidelined for at least a handful of games while he recovers from a sprain. If cleared to resume on-court work upon his re-evaluation, Barrett could conceivably return to action in the first week of December, though fantasy managers should prepare for the possibility of him missing further time beyond that. Ja'Kobe Walter entered the starting five in Barrett's stead in Monday's win over the Cavaliers but did little with the opportunity, finishing with five points, three rebounds and one assist in 24 minutes.
Nov 25, 2025
Ruled out vs. Pacers
Barrett (knee) won't play in Wednesday's game against the Pacers, Esfandiar Baraheni of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett is out with a sprained right knee for a second straight game. The star forward is day-to-day ahead of Saturday's contest against Charlotte. Ja'Kobe Walter is worth a look in deeper fantasy leagues as a potential streamer against Indiana.
Nov 24, 2025
Considered day-to-day
Head coach Darko Rajakovic said Barrett's (knee), who has already been ruled out for Monday's game against Cleveland, imaging was relatively positive, and he can be considered day-to-day, Vivek Jacob of the Raptors' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett sustained a sprained right knee in the third quarter of Sunday's win over the Nets. While the 25-year-old forward is set to miss at least the second leg of the team's back-to-back set, he can be considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pacers. The Raptors are expected to provide an update on his status by Tuesday night. With Barrett sidelined, Gradey Dick and Ja'Kobe Walter are candidates for increased playing time.
Nov 24, 2025
Ruled out Monday
Barrett (knee) will not play Monday against the Cavaliers, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett suffered a right knee sprain in the third quarter of Sunday's win over the Nets after landing awkwardly following a dunk, but the severity of the sprain is not yet known. It's not a surprise that the Raptors are holding him out Monday, but fantasy managers will have to wait for more clarity. Ja'Kobe Walter and Gradey Dick could see more minutes in the short term as a result.
Nov 23, 2025
To undergo further testing
Barrett (knee) will have imaging done Monday to determine the extent of his injury, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett suffered a knee injury during Sunday's game against the Nets after landing awkwardly on a dunk attempt and was unable to return. Although no official update was given postgame, it was mentioned that Barrett will have images taken Monday to determine the extent of the injury. If he is forced to miss time, Ja'Kobe Walter and Gradey Dick are candidates for increased roles.
Nov 23, 2025
Won't return Sunday
Barrett won't return to Sunday's game against the Nets due to a right knee injury, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett landed awkwardly after a dunk and limped to the locker room in the third quarter. He'll finish with 16 points (4-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two rebounds, two steals and one assist across 20 minutes. His status will be worth monitoring ahead of Monday's game against Cleveland.
Nov 23, 2025
Exits to locker room
Barrett exited to the locker room in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Nets due to an apparent lower leg injury, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett headed back to the locker room with 7:13 remaining in the third after landing awkwardly on a dunk. If the 25-year-old forward is unable to return, Ja'Kobe Walter and Gradey Dick are candidates to pick up the slack the rest of the way.
Nov 21, 2025
Co-leads Toronto in scoring Friday
Barrett tallied 24 points (9-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-8 FT), eight rebounds and four assists over 29 minutes during the Raptors' 140-110 win over the Wizards on Friday.
ANALYSIS
Barrett scored 10 of his 24 points in the third quarter, and his combined efforts with the likes of Brandon Ingram and Scottie Barnes helped the Raptors rush out to a large enough lead for the starters to sit for the final minutes of the fourth quarter. Barrett has averaged 19.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists over 31.3 minutes per game over his last 10 outings while shooting 47.3 percent from the field.
Nov 20, 2025
Scores 22 in win
Barrett recorded 22 points (6-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 8-9 FT), three rebounds and four assists in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 121-112 victory over the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has been integral to the team's success, tying with Brandon Ingram to lead the team in scoring Wednesday. Through 15 games, Barrett averages 19.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.3 blocks and 1.8 threes.
Nov 16, 2025
Scores team-high 22 points
Barrett finished with 22 points (9-17 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-4 FT), six rebounds and four assists across 28 minutes during Saturday's 129-111 victory over Indiana.
ANALYSIS
Barrett got back on track after a couple of subpar games, leading the Raptors with 22 points. After a hot start to the season, Barrett has settled back into his old ways, scoring inefficiently while adding very little on the defensive end. He has been outside the top 130 in seven games over the past two weeks, averaging 19.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.9 three-pointers, shooting 45.7 percent from the field and 68.4 percent from the line.
Nov 7, 2025
Drops 19 points in win
Barrett provided 19 points (7-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and four assists in 33 minutes during Friday's 109-97 victory over Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Barrett failed to record a defensive stat for just the third time all season, but still managed to get it done on the offensive end. He has scored at least 15 points in all but one game thus far, averaging 20.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.1 three-pointers in 32.4 minutes per game through nine appearances. Look for Barratt to continue his red-hot form when Toronto heads to Philadelphia on Saturday.
Nov 2, 2025
Paces Toronto in win
Barrett amassed 27 points (10-19 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 5-7 FT), six rebounds and six assists in 36 minutes during Sunday's 117-104 win over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Barrett led all players in scoring and has recorded at least 20 points in back-to-back games. The 25-year-old swingman also dished out a season-high mark in assists. He has now posted 20-plus points in five of his seven regular-season appearances, averaging 20.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.3 steals in 32.6 minutes per contest.
Nov 1, 2025
Bounces back in win
Barrett finished Friday's 112-101 win over Cleveland with 20 points (8-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals across 36 minutes.
ANALYSIS
After scoring 10 points on 4-of-11 shooting in Wednesday's loss to Houston, Barrett bounced back and delivered his fourth 20-plus-point performance through six regular-season games. The 25-year-old forward also tied the team-high mark in steals and has racked up multiple swipes in four outings thus far. Barrett is shooting an efficient 57.8 percent from the field and 40.7 percent from downtown this season, averaging 19.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals in 32.0 minutes per contest.
Oct 27, 2025
Nets 16 points in loss
Barrett contributed 16 points (7-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and three assists across 28 minutes during Sunday's 139-129 loss to the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
While Barrett has been providing solid stat lines through the first three games of the season, it's tough to see this holding up, as he's been converting an unsustainable 67.6 percent of his shot attempts. His minutes and usage rate are down this season, which is to be expected when a player of Brandon Ingram's caliber enters the equation. Barrett's value feels a bit inflated at the moment.
Oct 24, 2025
Another efficient outing
Barrett provided 20 points (9-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-3 FT), six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals over 33 minutes during Friday's 122-116 loss to Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
Barrett went 9-for-12 from the field for a second straight game and finished as the Raptors' second-leading scorer behind Brandon Ingram (29). Barrett also logged two steals for a second consecutive game while responsible for two of Toronto's four blocks. The 2019 first-rounder is averaging 22.5 points on 75.0 percent shooting through the first two games of the regular season.
Oct 22, 2025
Drops game-high 25 in opener
Barrett logged 25 points (9-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and two steals in 30 minutes during Wednesday's 138-118 victory over Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
The 25-year-old guard got his second full campaign with the Raptors off to a rousing start, popping for a game-high 25 points in an efficient performance. Barrett averaged career highs with 21.1 points and 5.4 assists per game in 2024-25, and he should be a key piece of the Toronto offense again this season.
Oct 17, 2025
Scores 25 points Friday
Barrett had 25 points (9-17 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-7 FT), four rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block across 33 minutes in Friday's preseason win over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was the second-best scorer for the Raptors behind Scottie Barnes, who had 31 points while shooting 10-for-15 from the field. Barrett is expected to be one of Toronto's main offensive weapons as long as he's able to stay healthy. He's made fewer than 60 regular-season appearances in each of the last two seasons.
Oct 12, 2025
Starting Sunday
Barrett (rest) will start Sunday's preseason game against the Wizards, Vivek Jacob of the Raptors' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After resting Friday against the Celtics, Barrett will return to action Sunday. He'll be joined in the starting lineup by Immanuel Quickley, Ja'Kobe Walter, Scottie Barnes and Sandro Mamukelashvili. Notably, Brandon Ingram (rest), Jakob Poeltl (back) and Collin Murray-Boyles (elbow) are all in street clothes Sunday.
Oct 10, 2025
Won't play Friday
Barrett (rest) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Celtics, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett and all the team's starters will not play Friday due to rest purposes. The team's coaching staff wants to get a longer look at the squad's younger players as well as those on the roster bubble.
Oct 9, 2025
Struggles with shot during win
Barrett produced 13 points (3-11 FG, 4-6 FT, 3-5 3Pt), four assists, two rebonds and a steal across 23 minutes in Wednesday's 130-122 win over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Barrett connected three times from deep, but that was the limit of his scoring production in the win. Barrett's minutes were limited, which will often be the case for first-unit players in the preseason. There's no cause for concern about Barrett's impact this season, and the outlook is bright for a squad that is finally healthy and ready to compete.
Oct 7, 2025
Scores 19 points in team debut
Barrett totaled 19 points (7-12 FG, 2-4 FT, 3-6 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and a steal across 21 minutes during Monday's 112-108 preseason loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Despite the loss, Toronto's first unit buzzed with offensive production. the combo of Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, Brandon Ingram and Scottie Barnes were in regular-season form, and they'll be even more potent once Jakob Poeltl is back in action. Barrett suffered through some injuries last season, but he still sported career-high averages of 21.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.4 assists over 58 games.
Apr 12, 2025
Won't play Sunday
Barrett (rest) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Spurs, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will end up resting for the final two games of the regular season, and Jamison Battle and Ochai Agbaji should continue to see increased playing time Sunday. Barrett missed 15 of the Raptors' final 32 games of the regular season, and he'll finish his first full year in Toronto averaging 21.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 0.8 steals over 32.2 minutes per game. He has two years left on his four-year, $107 million contract that he signed with the Knicks in September of 2022.
Apr 10, 2025
Won't play vs. Dallas
Barrett (rest) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Mavericks, Coty Wiles of RaptorsRepublic.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After playing in the last two games, Barrett will be on the shelf Friday in Dallas. The Raptors continue to rest their star players every other game. Toronto will likely turn to Jamison Battle and Ochai Agbaji to shoulder the load.
Apr 10, 2025
Plays only first half
Barrett had 11 points (4-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one steal across 14 minutes during Wednesday's 126-96 win over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett played only the first half of Wednesday's win over the Hornets, knocking down three three-pointers. The 24-year-old's absence in the second half was likely precautionary, as the Raptors have been easing the workload of their young starters with the season winding down. Barrett's rest opened the door for extended second-half minutes for A.J. Lawson, Cole Swider, Jamison Battle and Jared Rhoden.
Apr 5, 2025
Set to play against Brooklyn
Barrett (rest) isn't on the injury report for Sunday's game versus the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will return to action Sunday after missing Toronto's previous contest due to rest purposes. Barrett should reclaim his starting spot from Jamison Battles against Brooklyn.
Apr 4, 2025
Won't play Friday
Barrett is out for Friday's game versus the Pistons due to rest purposes.
ANALYSIS
Barrett won't play the second leg of Toronto's back-to-back Friday due to rest purposes. Jamison Battle will likely start in his absence. Barrett should be able to return to action for Sunday's matchup with Brooklyn.
Apr 2, 2025
Cleared to play Thursday
Barrett (rest) doesn't appear on the injury report for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Barrett will be back in action for Thursday after resting in Tuesday's 137-118 loss to the Bulls, but head coach Darko Rajakovic could continue to hold the 24-year-old under 30 minutes as the Raptors look to limit the workloads of their top players as the season winds down. Thursday's game marks the front end of a back-to-back set, so Barrett will most likely be rested in Friday's game against the Pistons.
Mar 31, 2025
Will rest Tuesday
Barrett won't play in Tuesday's game against the Bulls due to rest, Coty Wiles of RaptorsRepublic.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett continues to rest every other game after missing three straight in mid-March. He posted 31 points (12-22 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-8 FT), five rebounds and five assists across 29 minutes during Sunday's 127-109 victory over the 76ers and should be back in action Thursday against the Trail Blazers.
Mar 31, 2025
Pours in 31 points
Barrett finished with 31 points (12-22 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-8 FT), five rebounds and five assists across 29 minutes during Sunday's 127-109 victory over the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett didn't play Friday against the Hornets due to rest, but he was back in his usual role Sunday, producing his ninth game of the campaign with at least 30 points in the process. Across 55 appearances this season, Barrett has posted averages of 21.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.9 three-pointers on 47.3 percent shooting from the field.
Mar 29, 2025
Not on report for Sunday
Barrett (rest) is not on the injury report for Sunday's game against the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett didn't play Friday against the Hornets due to rest, but he's going to return to action Sunday and should handle his regular workload. The former Knicks player, who's playing his first full season with the Raptors, is averaging a career-best 21.3 points per game across 54 contests in 2024-25.
Mar 27, 2025
Ruled out for Friday
Barrett (rest) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Hornets, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss Friday's game against Charlotte for rest purposes. Jamison Battle and newcomer Cole Swider will likely get more minutes on the floor with the Raptors star sitting out this game against the Hornets.
Mar 25, 2025
Good to go for Wednesday
Barrett (rest) isn't on the injury report for Wednesday's game versus the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will return to action Wednesday after missing Toronto's previous contest due to rest purposes. Barrett should reclaim his starting spot from Jamison Battle against Brooklyn.
Mar 24, 2025
Will rest Monday
Barrett will be rested Monday against the Wizards, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett returned from a three-game absence Sunday against the Spurs, finishing with 18 points (8-17 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-4 FT), seven rebounds and two assists across 30 minutes. He'll the night off for the second leg of this back-to-back set, however, with his next chance to play coming Wednesday against the Nets. Immanuel Quickley (rest) sat out Sunday's game, but he has the green light to face the Wizards.
Mar 23, 2025
Struggles from downtown in return
Barrett (rest) accumulated 18 points (8-17 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-4 FT), seven rebounds and two assists across 30 minutes during Sunday's 123-89 loss to the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
After missing two games with an illness and a third for rest purposes, Barrett struggled to shoot the ball from three-point land Sunday. His high rate of turnovers and poor free-throw shooting severely restrict his overall fantasy appeal in nine-category settings, as Barrett is logging 3.2 turnovers per game and shooting just 62.7 percent from the foul line since the All-Star break, but the star swingman should remain a solid producer in points leagues when available for the rebuilding Raptors in the final weeks of 2024-25. Across his last 11 appearances, Barrett has averaged 20.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 0.5 steals in 31.8 minutes.
Mar 22, 2025
Not on injury report
Barrett (rest) is not on the injury report and will be available for Sunday's game against the Spurs, Esfandiar Baraheni of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett didn't play in any of the Raptors' last three games. He dealt with an illness that sidelined him for two contests, but he also received rest in the most recent game against the Warriors on March 20. Barrett's absence from the injury report suggests the star forward should handle his regular workload Sunday. Barrett is averaging 19.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 0.6 steals per game across five starts in March.
Mar 19, 2025
Ruled out for Thursday
Barrett (rest) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Warriors, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss a third straight game for the Raptors. However, this time, it is for rest purposes after battling an illness, which kept him out the previous two games. Jamison Battle and Ochai Agbaji will likely continue to shoulder the load in Golden State.
Mar 17, 2025
Out again Monday
Barrett (illness) will not play Monday against the Suns, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will be sidelined for a second straight game, as he was also unavailable Sunday against Portland. In the meantime, guys like A.J. Lawson and Jamison Battle could continue to see increased run for the Raptors.
Mar 16, 2025
Ruled out Sunday
Barrett (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
The illness is a new concern for Barrett, and his next chance to suit up will come Monday against the Suns. Jamison Battle and A.J. Lawson will likely see a bump in minutes due to Barrett being sidelined.
Mar 15, 2025
Questionable for Sunday
Barrett is questionable for Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers due to an illness, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett is not at 100 percent due to an illness, so a decision on his status will be made closer to Sunday's tipoff. He's averaging 21.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.7 assists per contest.
Mar 13, 2025
Off injury report
Barrett has been removed from the injury report and will play Friday against the Jazz, Esfandiar Baraheni of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett missed Wednesday's matchup with Philadelphia due to personal reasons, but will return after his one game absence. His return comes at a convenient time for Toronto, as they will be without Gradey Dick (knee), Jonathan Mogbo (nose), Jakob Poeltl (rest), Ja'Kobe Walter (hip) and Brandon Ingram (ankle). On the season, Barrett averages 21.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks over 33.1 minutes.
Mar 11, 2025
Ruled out for Wednesday
Barrett (personal) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
After coming two assists shy of a triple-double in Monday's win against the Wizards, Barrett won't play Wednesday against Philadelphia. Toronto will likely be very shorthanded again for this game, with several notable players ruled out, including Immanuel Quickley (rest). Ochai Agbaji (ankle) is doubtful to play, while Scottie Barnes (hand) and Jamison Battle (nose) are questionable, meaning the team will potentially have to look to other options like two-way players A.J. Lawson and Jared Rhoden.
Mar 11, 2025
Comes close to triple-double
Barrett supplied 14 points (6-18 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-4 FT), 10 rebounds and eight assists in 27 minutes during Monday's 119-104 victory over Washington.
ANALYSIS
Barrett didn't have a productive shooting performance, making only 33.3 percent of his attempts from the floor, but he salvaged his fantasy line by contributing in other areas. The star forward ended just two assists away from recording what would've been his third triple-double of the season, and fantasy managers can rely on him to produce solid lines even when his shooting isn't falling. Barrett is averaging 20.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.5 blocks per game since the beginning of March.
Mar 9, 2025
Drops team-high 23 in loss
Barrett notched a team-high 23 points (7-17 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 28 minutes during Saturday's 118-117 loss to the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
After being rested on the front half of a back-to-back Friday, Barrett returned and scored better than 20 points for the third straight appearance, and the seventh time in his last nine contests. Over that stretch, the 24-year-old wing is averaging 22.3 points, 5.8 boards, 5.3 assists, 2.3 threes and 0.9 steals while shooting a cool 50.0 percent from the floor and 43.8 percent from beyond the arc.
Mar 8, 2025
Removed from injury report
Barrett has been cleared to play in Saturday's game against the Wizards,Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
After resting during Friday's win against the Jazz, Barrett will be back on the floor for the Raptors on Saturday to take on Washington. The veteran forward is having a strong season with Toronto, averaging career-high numbers in points (21.7), rebounds (6.4) and assists (5.7), shooting 47.6 percent from the floor and 35.7 from beyond the arc.
Mar 6, 2025
Won't play Friday
Barrett is out for Friday's game versus the Jazz due to rest purposes, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett hasn't suffered any injury but will head out for the first leg of Toronto's back-to-back Friday. With Ochai Agbaji also out, Jamison Battle could receive increased playing time. Barrett's next chance to suit up is Saturday's matchup with Washington.
Mar 3, 2025
Efficient in win Sunday
Barrett produced 22 points (7-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-10 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Sunday's 104-102 victory over the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has had some ups and downs when it comes to his shooting numbers since the end of the All-Star break, but he displayed an efficient touch in this win Sunday and reached the 20-point mark after not doing so in his previous two outings. Still, Barrett is consistent enough to remain a valuable fantasy commodity across all formats due to his role in the offensive scheme. He's scored at least 20 points in four of his six outings since the All-Star break, averaging 21.7 points and shooting 49.5 percent from the floor in that stretch.
Feb 27, 2025
Poor shooting display
Barrett finished with 16 points (5-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), two rebounds and five assists in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 111-91 loss to the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
The Raptors need Barrett to be a consistent scoring weapon to have their offense clicking at all cylinders, but that wasn't the case Wednesday, as he made just 33.3 percent of his shots and 16.6 percent of his three-point attempts. It was also the first time Barrett failed to reach the 20-point mark over his last five appearances, though in that stretch, he's averaging a solid 23.4 points while shooting 53.1 percent from the floor.
Feb 25, 2025
Team-high 22 points Tuesday
Barrett finished Tuesday's 111-101 loss to the Celtics with 22 points (10-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one steal over 33 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Barrett wasn't particularly effective from three-point range Tuesday, but he did his damage from inside the arc as he led the Raptors in scoring and rebounds. The 24-year-old Canadian has scored at least 20 points in each of his last four games since returning from a five-game absence due to a concussion. Barrett will look to extend that streak against the Pacers on Wednesday.
Feb 24, 2025
Keeps scoring run alive
Barrett registered 23 points (6-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 8-12 FT), six rebounds and seven assists in 32 minutes during Sunday's 127-109 victory over Phoenix.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has scored at least 23 points in his three games since returning to the hardwood after a five-game absence in early February due to a concussion. The star forward is firmly established as one of the Raptors' go-to options on offense when he's healthy, and he'll aim to keep that solid scoring stretch alive when the Raptors take on the Celtics on Tuesday.
Feb 22, 2025
Efficient performance Friday
Barrett registered 29 points (11-17 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, four assists and two steals across 38 minutes during Friday's 120-111 overtime loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Barrett not only led the Raptors in scoring Friday, but he posted a game-high scoring total for the second game in a row. He closed the first half of the season with a 27-point effort in the loss to the Cavaliers on Feb. 12 before the All-Star break and now notched another impressive effort. Barrett has also reached the 30-point plateau eight times this season, and his role as one of the Raptors' primary offensive weapons is pretty much set in stone as long as he remains healthy.
Feb 13, 2025
Game-high 27 points in return
Barrett dropped 27 points (11-18 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-7 FT), four rebounds, four assists and three steals in 28 minutes of action during Wednesday's 131-108 loss to the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
The star wing looked great in his first game back from a concussion that had kept him sidelined for the past five games, logging his best scoring performance since December and matching his season high in steals despite the loss. It was also one of his more efficient outings of late, especially given the volume. He'll look to keep rolling Friday against the new-look Heat.

Not listed on injury report
Barrett (concussion) is not listed on the Raptors' injury report ahead of Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett hit his head hard during a Feb. 2 win over the Clippers but returned to the game and finished with 20 points (9-21 FG), seven assists, six rebounds and three steals in 33 minutes. However, he started feeling concussion symptoms following the contest and has missed five straight games due to the league's concussion protocols. While Barrett appears ready to return to action, he may face some limitations in his first game back. Wednesday is also Toronto's final contest before the All-Star break.

Barrett has entered the concussion protocol and will miss Tuesday's game against the Knicks, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett picked up the concussion during Sunday's game against the Clippers after banging his head after a layup, though he was able to finish that contest. With Barrett in the protocol, it would be a surprise if he was able to play in Wednesday's game versus Memphis. With Barrett out, there could be more opportunity for guys like Ja'Kobe Walter, Jamal Shead and Davion Mitchell.

Sniffs double-double
Barrett recorded 19 points (8-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-6 FT), nine rebounds and three assists across 31 minutes during Friday's 122-106 loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Even though Barrett came up close to notching a double-double -- a rare feat he hasn't accomplished since Jan. 17 -- he remains a consistent scoring weapon for Toronto. He's reached the 15-point mark in all but two of his 13 appearances in January, averaging 17.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 0.9 steals per game.
Jan 28, 2025
Pops for 17 in win

Jan 26, 2025
Flirts with double-double in win
Barrett logged 23 points (9-13 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and a steal in Saturday's 117-94 win over the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
After a relatively quiet night in the first leg of Toronto's double-header against the Hawks on Thursday, Barrett bounced back Saturday, falling just two boards short of what would've been his eighth double-double of the season. He's been consistently solid of late, averaging 20.0 points, 7.2 rebounds and 5.4 assists while shooting 58.4 percent from the field. He'll look to keep rolling Monday against the Pelicans.
Jan 17, 2025
Balanced output Friday
Barrett had 21 points (7-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four rebounds, 10 assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Friday's 130-112 loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
The 24-year-old swingman tallied his ninth double-double of the season Friday, matching Scottie Barnes for the team lead with 10 assists. Across his last seven contests, Barrett has averaged a productive 18.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.4 threes. As long as floor general Immanuel Quickley (groin) remains sidelined, Barrett should continue handling a heightened usage rate for the Raptors, which should amplify the latter's overall fantasy value in the meantime.
Jan 16, 2025
Flirts with triple-double in win
Barrett put up 22 points (10-18 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-4 FT), 10 boards, eight assists, one steal and one block through 36 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
The star forward put together his fourth double-double of the season and fell just two assists short of his third triple-double this year in an inspired effort against the powerhouse Celtics. He's been a reliable fantasy option all year, but his production had dipped going into Wednesday's outing, as he was averaging 15.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists in the four games prior. He'll look to keep building off the strong showing Friday against the Bucks.
Jan 10, 2025
Puts up 20 points Thursday
Barrett racked up 20 points (8-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two steals over 38 minutes during Thursday's 132-126 loss to the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
The Raptors came up short against a red-hot Cavaliers team playing on the second leg of a back-to-back set, but Barrett posted a solid stat line across the board. The former Duke standout has reached the 20-point mark in two of his three outings since returning from a three-game absence between Dec. 31 and Jan. 3. Barrett has scored 20 or more points in four of his last six games dating back to Dec. 23, so he should remain a reliable offensive weapon for the Raptors as long as he's able to stay on the court.
Jan 6, 2025
Leads Raptors in return

Barrett has appeared in only three of the club's last eight games, during which he averaged 22.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.7 assists across 32.3 minutes per contest.
Jan 5, 2025
Officially questionable
Barrett (illness) is questionable for Monday's game against the Bucks, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
While Barrett is officially questionable, all signs out of Toronto suggest he'll return to action Monday following a three-game absence due to an illness. Jan 3, 2025
Ruled out against Magic
Barrett (illness) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Magic, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.careports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss a third straight game on Friday. The veteran is having a career year with the Raptors, averaging 23.4 points and 6.8 rebounds per game, both of which are career highs. Ochai Agbaji will likely continue to get the nod as the starter with Barrett out.
Jan 3, 2025
Downgraded to doubtful
Barrett (illness) is now listed as doubtful for Friday's game versus the Magic, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS

Jan 2, 2025
Iffy for Friday
Barrett (illness) has been listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Magic, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has missed the last two games for the Raptors. The veteran forward is having a career year with Toronto, averaging career-high numbers with 23.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game. If Barrett misses a third straight game, Toronto will likely look to Ochai Agbaji to help fill the void at small forward.
Jan 1, 2025
Won't play Wednesday
Barrett (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Nets, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss both halves of Toronto's back-to-back set due to an illness, but the Raptors will have Immanuel Quickley (elbow) and Gradey Dick (hamstring) available Wednesday after they were sidelined for Tuesday's blowout loss to Boston. Barrett's next chance to suit up will come Friday against the Magic, while Ochai Agbaji should continue to start until Barrett is cleared to play again.
Jan 1, 2025
Listed as questionable
Barrett (illness) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against Brooklyn.
ANALYSIS
After missing Tuesday's game versus Boston, Barrett is considered day-to-day. There isn't much clarity on his status, however, as this update comes from the official injury report. In other news, Immanuel Quickley (elbow) was upgraded to questionable for this contest, so Toronto could soon get some reinforcements in the backcourt.
Dec 30, 2024
Will not play Tuesday
Barrett (undisclosed) will not play Tuesday against Boston, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
According to Grange, Barrett left the arena immediately after Sunday's game against Atlanta and did not practice Monday. He's not traveling with the team to Boston, but that's all the information there is to go on right now. ANALYSIS

It was his fifth double-double of the season, and he was one board shy from registering his third triple-double of the campaign. Barrett is averaging a career-high 23.5 points per game along with 6.7 rebounds and 6.1 assists across 34.3 minutes.
Dec 24, 2024
Busy night at charity stripe
Barrett (illness) ended Monday's 139-125 loss to the Knicks with 23 points (7-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 8-11 FT), six rebounds and six assists in 33 minutes.
ANALYSIS
After missing Toronto's past two games due to an illness, Barrett had a busy night at the charity stripe Monday against his former team, hitting eight of his 11 free-throw attempts. Over his last nine games, Barrett is averaging a strong 24.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 0.8 blocks and 1.9 three-pointers while shooting 50.3 percent from the field during this span. The 24-year-old wing should continue piling up counting stats for the 7-23 Raptors, but he remains a better option for fantasy managers in points leagues due to his subpar free-throw percentage on sizeable volume.
Dec 23, 2024
Good to go against New York
Barrett (illness) is available to play against the Knicks on Monday, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has missed the Raptors' last two games due to an illness. He was a late scratch for both of those contests, but he is slated to make his return Monday. In the 10 games prior to his illness, Barrett averaged 24.0 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.0 assists over 34.7 minutes per game.
Dec 23, 2024
Deemed GTD
Barrett (illness) is a game-time decision for Monday's game against the Knicks, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was a late scratch in each of the Raptors' last two games due to illness. He'll likely have to go through pre-game warmups before a determination on his status is made. If he can't suit up Monday, Ja'Kobe Walter and Jamison Battle could see more action.
Dec 22, 2024
Won't play Sunday vs. Houston
Barrett (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rockets, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was initially slated to return from a one-game absence Sunday due to an illness. However, it appears he is still under the weather, and his next opportunity to play will be Monday against the Knicks. Ja'Kobe Walter was inserted into the Raptors' starting lineup against the Nets on Thursday, and he should resume that role Sunday due to Barrett's illness.
Dec 21, 2024
Cleared for Sunday

Able to practice Saturday

ANALYSIS
Barrett was held out of Thursday's game against the Nets, but the fact that he was able to take part in practice indicates this could be a brief absence for the Duke product. Expect further clarification once the Raptors release the injury report for Sunday's matchup against the Rockets.
Dec 19, 2024

ANALYSIS

Dec 17, 2024
Comes close to double-double
Barrett amassed 32 points (11-24 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 8-9 FT), five rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and one steal across 37 minutes during Monday's 122-121 loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Barrett didn't repeat the triple-double (13 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists) he notched in the loss to the Heat on Thursday, Dec. 12. Instead, he posted his eighth outing with at least 30 points this season while ending just one dime away from a double-double. Barrett is expected to handle more playmaking responsibilities with Scottie Barnes (ankle) and Immanuel Quickley (elbow) sidelined. He's been up to the task, though, as he's averaging 25.1 points, 7.9 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game since the beginning of December.
Dec 16, 2024
Records 30-point night in loss
Barrett closed with 32 points (11-24 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 8-9 FT), five rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and one steal across 37 minutes during Monday's 122-121 loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Barrett bounced back from a quiet 13-point showing Thursday against the Heat and fell just one assist shy of a double-double. He continues to slot in as the team's top weapon on the offensive end and should see heavy usage going forward given the absence of Scottie Barnes (ankle) and potential future absence of Jakob Poeltl, who exited versus Chicago with a groin injury.
Dec 13, 2024
Posts triple-double Thursday
Barrett ended Thursday's 114-104 loss to Miami with 13 points (5-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, 10 assists and three blocks in 34 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Barrett had an impressive showing Thursday and posted his second triple-double of the season. However, it's hard to overlook the lack of efficiency with his shot, as the six-year veteran struggled badly from the field. The Raptors are missing Immanuel Quickley (elbow) and Scottie Barnes (ankle), so Barrett will likely remain the team's point guard due to the lack of another viable option for the role. This means he's quite likely to have a high usage rate in the coming games, giving him a high floor in most formats regardless of his shooting or efficiency struggles.
Dec 10, 2024
Goes for 30 points Monday
Barrett recorded 30 points (13-24 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and one steal in 37 minutes during Monday's 113-108 loss to the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Barrett reached the 30-point mark for the seventh time this season, and despite finishing just two boards shy of a double-double against his former team, the Raptors still came up short on a night where they also lost Scottie Barnes to an ankle injury. The absence of Barnes could result in a more significant role on offense for Barrett, who's averaging 26.2 points per game since the beginning of December.
Dec 6, 2024
Posts double-double
Barrett registered 17 points (5-16 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and one block in 31 minutes during Thursday's 129-92 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Barrett had a rough shooting performance Thursday, but he still found a way to make a sizable fantasy impact due to his rebounding numbers. This was Barrett's fourth double-double of the season, and the 11-rebound haul represented a season-high mark for him. It also extended his impressive scoring run, as he's now scored at least 15 points in 11 contests in a row.
Dec 2, 2024
Explodes for 37 points
Barrett racked up 37 points (15-20 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and one block across 38 minutes during Sunday's 119-116 victory over the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Barrett's numbers have been brilliant recently, and the return of Scottie Barnes hasn't affected his production in the slightest. Sunday's total came two points short of his season high, which recorded two weeks ago against the Pacers. The powerful one-two punch of Barrett and Barnes will serve the Raptors well as they try to stay competitive in the Eastern Conference.
Nov 30, 2024
Puts up 25 points
Barrett notched 25 points (10-18 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and seven assists in 39 minutes during Friday's 121-111 loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Barrett led the Raptors in scoring Friday, and he continues to deliver consistent high-end numbers every time he steps on the hardwood. Even though Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl have been productive fantasy options as well, Barrett has strong upside in his own right and has been living up to the hype. He's scored at least 20 points in six of his last eight games, averaging 24.6 points, 7.0 assists and 6.9 rebounds per game in that stretch.
Nov 28, 2024
Teases triple-double in win
Barrett had 22 points (8-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-7 FT), eight rebounds and 11 assists across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 119-93 win over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
The 24-year-old wing nearly recorded his second triple-double of the season, with the first coming Nov. 16 against the Celtics. Barrett has dropped at least 16 points in seven straight games, averaging 24.6 points, 7.0 boards, 7.0 assists and 2.0 threes over that stretch as he continues to see career-best usage on a Raptors roster that doesn't have many other options.
Nov 25, 2024
Struggles with shot Sunday
Barrett amassed 16 points (6-18 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-6 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one block over 33 minutes during Sunday's 122-108 loss to Cleveland.
ANALYSIS
Barrett didn't have a good shooting performance Sunday, although he salvaged his fantasy line with his strong contributions in other categories, such as rebounds and assists. Despite the occasional shooting woes, Barrett is having a strong season with the Raptors, but he's arguably going through his most productive stretch of late. He's averaging 26.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game over his last five contests.
Nov 22, 2024
Surpasses 30 points as top scorer
Barrett logged 31 points (10-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 10-12 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and three steals in 35 minutes during Thursday's 110-105 victory over the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Barrett led the way for Toronto in Thursday's contest, leading all players in scoring and free throws made while also swiping a team-leading trio of steals in a well-rounded performance. Barrett has scored north of 30 points in five contests this season, including in two straight outings.
Nov 19, 2024
Scores season-high 39 points
Barrett produced 39 points (13-21 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 9-12 FT), nine rebounds and five assists across 36 minutes during Monday's 130-119 win over the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was coming off posting the first triple-double of his career in the Nov. 16 loss to the Celtics, and he backed that up by notching his best scoring output of the current campaign. This was Barrett's fourth game with at least 30 points this season, and he's also recorded 22 or more points in his past three appearances.
Nov 16, 2024
Logs first career triple-double
Barrett registered 25 points (10-27 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-9 FT), 15 assists, 10 rebounds, one steal and one block over 42 minutes in Saturday's 126-123 overtime loss to the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Playing on a second leg of a back-to-back, Barrett and Jakob Poeltl gave the NBA defending champions everything they could handle. While Barrett's final shooting numbers don't look great on paper, he consistently made timely buckets to keep the short-handed Raptors in the game. Not only were his 15 assists a career high, but he also finished the game with the first triple-double of his NBA career. Since Nov. 1, Barrett has averaged 20.9 points, 6.9 assists, 6.6 rebounds and 1.0 steals over 34.6 minutes per game.
Nov 16, 2024
Scores 22 points Friday
Barrett closed Friday's 99-95 loss to the Pistons with 22 points (6-18 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 8-9 FT), six rebounds, seven assists and one block over 34 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Barrett didn't have his best shooting performance since he nailed just 33 percent of his shots from the field and from three-point range, but he still finished as Toronto's second-best scorer behind Jakob Poeltl, who posted a season-high 25 points in this loss. Barrett remains a consistent scoring weapon for the Raptors, though it must be noted that he's reached the 20-point mark just twice in his last six outings. He's averaging 16.5 points per game while shooting 33.3 percent from the field in that stretch.
Nov 11, 2024
Shooting woes surface Sunday
Barrett had 18 points (5-15 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 7-9 FT), seven rebounds and four assists in 36 minutes during Sunday's 123-103 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett didn't have his best performance Sunday and had a rough showing from the field, making just 33.3 percent of his field goals, although he salvaged his line a bit by posting solid numbers in the rebounding and assists categories. Even if he has an off night from time to time, Barrett should remain one of the Raptors' primary offensive options on a game-to-game basis.
Nov 10, 2024
Poor shooting effort Saturday
Barrett logged 13 points (6-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 0-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals over 30 minutes during Saturday's 105-103 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett started the season on a strong note with three performances of at least 30 points in his first four games, but he has failed to reach the 25-point mark in his subsequent three outings. This 13-point performance was a season-low mark for the former Duke standout, but Barrett has a big-enough role and shoots enough volume to believe this should be nothing more than just an off night for the six-year veteran.
Nov 7, 2024
Solid with 23 points in loss
Barrett logged 23 points (9-19 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), three rebounds, three assists and two steals across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 122-107 loss to the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Barrett poured in 31 points against the Kings two games ago, and although he regressed in the rematch, he still had an admirable total. Barrett has averaged 25.7 points, 7.0 assists and 5.3 rebounds after missing the first two games of the season. and he'll provide bonus production while Scottie Barnes (eye) is sidelined.
Nov 2, 2024
Stays hot vs. Kings
Barrett racked up 31 points (10-26 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 8-11 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and one steal in 40 minutes during Saturday's 131-128 overtime victory over Sacramento.
ANALYSIS
Barrett turned in his third consecutive 30-plus point performance despite knocking down only 38.5 percent of his attempts from the field. He also contributed in a big way on the glass and as a distributor, resulting in a massive night across the board for fantasy managers. Expect the offense to continue to run through Barrett until Immanuel Quickley (pelvis) and Scottie Barnes (orbital) are cleared to return.
Nov 2, 2024
Double-doubles in loss
Barrett contributed 33 points (14-22 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and 12 assists in 32 minutes during Friday's 131-125 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett recorded his first double-double of the season, although interestingly, he tallied double-digit assists as opposed to rebounds. While an injury delayed his start to the season, Barrett has hit the ground running, having now scored at least 30 points in consecutive games. Across three games, he is averaging 28.0 points to go with 4.7 rebounds, 7.7 assists and 3.0 three-pointers in 31.3 minutes per game. His assist numbers are sure to take a hit once the Raptors start getting healthy bodies back on the floor. However, until then, just sit back and enjoy the show.
Oct 31, 2024
Goes for 31 points Wednesday
Barrett amassed 31 points (10-18 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 7-12 FT), four rebounds, eight assists and two steals over 33 minutes during Wednesday's 138-133 loss to the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett led the Raptors in scoring in this contest and also ended just two assists away from a double-double. It's only been two games, but the star forward is enjoying an excellent start to the 2024-25 campaign. Barrett has scored a combined 51 points while shooting 19-for-39 from the field and 6-for-12 from deep. He'll aim to continue his strong start to the campaign against the Lakers on Friday.
Oct 29, 2024
Scores 20 points in season debut
Barrett provided 20 points (9-21 FG, 2-6 3Pt), five rebounds and three assists over 29 minutes during Monday's 127-125 overtime loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett didn't have his best shooting numbers, though that's somewhat expected since he suffered an injury in the preseason and this was his first taste of competitive basketball. Even if his shot isn't falling, Barrett will remain a valuable asset in most formats as long as he can hover around the 20-point mark while posting solid peripheral stats in most games.
Oct 28, 2024
Will make season debut Monday
Barrett (shoulder) is available for Monday's game against the Nuggets, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett missed the first three games of the 2024-25 regular season due to a shoulder injury sustained during training camp, but he's available to make his season debut Monday and should replace Ochai Agbaji in the starting lineup. In 32 games with the Raptors last season, Barrett averaged 21.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 33.5 minutes per game.
Oct 27, 2024
Deemed questionable Monday
Barrett (shoulder) is questionable for Monday's matchup against the Nuggets, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss his fourth consecutive regular-season game and has yet to suit up during the 2024-25 campaign. If the 24-year-old is ruled out, Ochai Agbaji will likely get the start at small forward again, while Jamison Battle may receive an uptick in playing time.
Oct 26, 2024
Ruled out vs. Minnesota
Barrett (shoulder) won't play Saturday against the Timberwolves, head coach Darko Rajakovic told Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network.
ANALYSIS
The shoulder injury continues to bother Barrett, and the star forward will miss a third consecutive contest as a result. With Barrett out, Ochai Agbaji will likely get the start at small forward again, while Jamison Battle may receive an uptick in minutes. Barrett's next chance to play will come against the Nuggets on Monday.
Oct 26, 2024
Iffy against Minnesota
Barrett (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Timberwolves, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett is in danger of missing his third straight game to start the season while dealing with a right shoulder injury. However, Barrett being listed as questionable instead of doubtful is a good sign that he is nearing a return to action.
Oct 25, 2024
Not playing Friday
Barrett (shoulder) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the 76ers, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett is dealing with a right shoulder injury, though he was able to practice Thursday, which bodes well for his progression toward a return to game action. The 24-year-old is expected to play a prominent role on a rebuilding Raptors squad, but he will have to wait at least one more game to make his 2024-25 debut. With Barrett out, Ochai Agbaji will likely get the start at small forward again with Jamison Battle likely to receive an uptick in minutes.
Oct 24, 2024
Unlikely to play Friday
Barrett (shoulder) is listed as doubtful for Friday's game versus the 76ers, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett is expected to miss his second straight contest Friday while dealing with a right shoulder injury. However, Barrett did practice Thursday, indicating he is making progress in his recovery. If the 24-year-old forward is ultimately ruled out, Ochai Agbaji should receive another start in his absence.
Oct 24, 2024
Returns to practice
Barrett (shoulder) participated in Thursday's practice, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett missed Toronto's regular-season opener Wednesday due to a sprain to the acromioclavicular joint in his right shoulder but was able to practice Thursday. The Raptors should release an official injury report at some point Thursday to clarify the 24-year-old forward's status for Friday's matchup with Philadelphia.
Oct 22, 2024
Officially ruled out
Barrett (shoulder) has been ruled out for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett still hasn't been cleared for contract, so this update is unsurprising. However, he has been a limited participant in recent practices and is progressing through rehab. His next chance to suit up will come Friday versus the 76ers, while Ochai Agbaji should start and play extended minutes on the wing until Barrett is ready for game action.
Oct 22, 2024
Doubtful for Wednesday
Barrett (shoulder) is unlikely to play in Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has yet to be cleared for contact, but he's been able to go through practices in limited fashion. With Barrett expected to be sidelined for Opening Night, it's possible that Ochai Agbaji steps into a significant role on the wings. Further clarity will be known when the Raptors release their injury report Tuesday evening.
Oct 21, 2024
Practices Monday
Barrett (shoulder) practiced Monday, but his status for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Cavaliers remains to be determined, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett missed the entire preseason while dealing with a sprain to his right acromioclavicular joint in his right shoulder, allowing Ochai Agbaji to see an extended run as a starter. However, Barrett is increasing his workload daily and should return to game action before long. Barrett's status for the regular-season opener should be released Tuesday afternoon.
Oct 17, 2024
Iffy for regular-season opener
Coach Darko Rajaković said Thursday that Barrett (shoulder) hasn't been ruled out for Toronto's regular-season opener against Cleveland on Oct. 23, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has been ruled out for the entirety of the preseason while dealing with a sprain to the right acromioclavicular joint in his right shoulder. If Barrett is also unable to suit up in the regular-season opener, Ochai Agbaji would likely remain in the starting five.
Oct 8, 2024
Out for remainder of postseason
Barrett (shoulder) will miss the remainder of the preseason, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett sustained a sprain to his right acromioclavicular joint during the second quarter of Sunday's preseason over the Wizards. It's unclear if Barrett will be available for Opening Night against the Cavaliers on Oct. 23, but there should be at least some optimism given the injury is to his right, non-shooting shoulder. Regardless, fantasy managers should monitor Barrett's situation closely ahead of drafts and may have to drop him down a couple of ranks if he's going to miss regular-season action.
Oct 6, 2024
Will have shoulder evaluated Monday
Head coach Darko Rajakovic told reporters after Sunday's 125-98 preseason win over the Wizards that Barrett will have his right shoulder re-evaluated in Toronto on Monday, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett left in the second quarter of Sunday's game after injuring his right shoulder while attempting to go around a Jonas Valanciunas screen. The results of Monday's evaluation will give a better sense of Barrett's availability for the rest of the preseason. The Raptors will go on the road for a rematch with the Wizards on Friday.
Oct 6, 2024
Won't return vs. Wizards
Barrett has been ruled out for the second half of Sunday's preseason game against Washington due to a right shoulder contusion, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett injured his right shoulder on an illegal screen from Jonas Valanciunas in the second quarter. Barrett will end his night with 17 points (7-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), two rebounds and two assists across 14 minutes. Ochai Agbaji started for the Raptors in the second half of Sunday's game.
Oct 6, 2024
Exits game with arm injury
Barrett left during the second quarter of Sunday's preseason game against the Wizards due to an arm injury, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett went back to the locker room after injuring his arm while being held up on an illegal screen. It doesn't appear to be a serious issue, but given its the preseason, Barrett could be held out for the rest of the game. If that's the case, he'll finish with 17 points, three rebounds and two assists across 14 minutes.
Jul 27, 2024
Team-high 23 points in victory
Barrett totaled 23 points (8-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 33 minutes in Canada's 86-79 win over Greece in the Paris Olympics on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was automatic from the field Saturday, and he came in clutch alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as Canada began their Olympic campaign with a win. The 24-year-old led Canada in points, and he will likely serve as one of the squad's top options offensively as Gilgeous-Alexander has already seen defenses swarm him, despite a 21-point performance of his own Saturday. Furthermore, Barrett is getting a heavy dose of minutes as well as the opportunity to display his talents, coming in behind only Giannis Antetokounmpo in playing time in the match.
Apr 14, 2024
Won't play Sunday
Barrett (knee) has ruled out for Toronto's regular-season finale versus Miami, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett's inactive status is the expected outcome with Toronto having nothing to play for. The franchise's next looming consequence comes during the NBA Draft lottery, as the team owes its first-round pick to San Antonio unless it falls within the top six -- hence some incentive to lose down the stretch.
Apr 14, 2024
Dealing with knee soreness
Barrett is questionable for Sunday's game against Miami due to knee soreness, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett dropped 35 points in 33 minutes during Friday's loss Miami, but it's unclear if he'll take the court Sunday. Koreen speculates that given Toronto's circumstance entering the regular-season finale, "questionable will surely mean out," although Barrett's official status is still to be determined.
Apr 13, 2024
Scores 35 points in sounding loss
Barrett closed Friday's 125-103 loss to the Heat with 35 points (13-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 11 rebounds and three assists across 33 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was Toronto's best player by a wide margin Friday, but his explosive offensive outing was not enough to lift the Raptors to victory. It's unclear whether Barrett will see any minutes in the season finale at Miami on Sunday, but he's ending the season on a strong note having posted 20 or more points in his five appearances this month.
Apr 11, 2024
Set to play against Miami
Barrett (knee) isn't on the injury report for Friday's game versus the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will return to action Friday after missing Toronto's previous contest due to left knee injury management. Barrett is averaging 25.0 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.6 assists in 33.4 minutes across his last five outings.
Apr 10, 2024
Won't play Wednesday
Barrett (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Nets, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will take a seat for the second half of Toronto's back-to-back set after posting 23 points, four rebounds, four assists and a steal in 33 minutes during Tuesday's loss to Indiana. He has only two more chances to suit up this season, and both games will be in Miami this weekend.
Apr 10, 2024
Leads Raps with 23 points Tuesday
Barrett contributed 23 points (10-19 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal over 33 minutes during Tuesday's 140-123 loss to the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
After missing nine games due to personal reasons, Barrett has scored 20-plus points in each of his last four games. He's been efficient since his return, shooting 51.4 percent over those four contests. Barrett will continue to be the main option for the Raptors on offense as the regular season winds down.
Apr 6, 2024
Tallies 26 in victory
Barrett racked up 26 points (8-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 9-11 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals over 34 minutes during Friday's 117-111 win over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Barrett returned from a nine-game absence on April 2, which was followed by an absence for rest purposes. He played 26 minutes in his original return and saw that bumped up to 34 in Friday's win. The 23-year-old has scored more than 20 points in eight of his last nine games for the Raptors.
Apr 4, 2024
Will play Friday
Barrett (knee) will play Friday against the Bucks, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett sat out the second leg of a back-to-back Wednesday, but he'll be back in action Friday night. However, he'll still likely have some minutes restrictions, so he's not the most attractive target in fantasy hoops.
Apr 3, 2024
Ruled out for Wednesday
Barrett (knee) will miss Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Wednesday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, so the Raptors will exercise caution with Barrett due to his troublesome left knee. Gary Trent has been cleared and could see heavy run, especially with Bruce Brown (knee) expected to sit out.
Apr 3, 2024
Leading scorer in return
Barrett amassed a game-high 28 points (11-18 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-7 FT), six rebounds and six assists in 26 minutes during Tuesday's 128-111 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
The fifth-year forward had missed the last nine games to attend to a personal matter, but Barrett didn't miss a beat in his return, producing his best scoring performance since he dropped 29 points against the Grizzlies on Jan. 22. The Toronto native has had arguably the best run of his career since being traded to his hometown club from the Knicks, and he's averaged 21.1 points, 6.2 boards, 4.1 assists and 1.6 threes in 28 games for the Raptors while shooting an impressive 55.5 percent from the floor.
Apr 2, 2024
Gets green light
Barrett (personal/conditioning) will play Tuesday against the Lakers, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Barrett and Immanuel Quickley (personal/conditioning) have been upgraded from probable to available and will make their returns following multi-game absences. It'll be Barrett's first appearance since March 11, and he'll face limitations, though he's expected to reclaim a spot in the starting lineup.
Apr 1, 2024
Will likely return Tuesday
Barrett (personal)/conditioning) is probable for Tuesday's game against the Lakers, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett and Immanuel Quickley (personal) are both expected to return from lengthy absences and should reclaim spots in the starting lineup. Before his absence, Barrett scored at least 20 points in six of his last seven appearances, averaging 22.9 points, 4.9 assists and 4.6 rebounds in 34.4 minutes during that stretch.
Mar 31, 2024
Remains out Sunday
Barrett (personal/conditioning) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 76ers, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss a ninth straight game but is nearing a return to game action and just needs to reach the final stages of re-conditioning after his time away from the team. With Ochai Agbaji (hip) also out, Bruce Brown, Jordan Nwora and Jalen McDaniels are candidates for increased playing time. Barrett's next chance to suit up will come Tuesday versus the Lakers.
Mar 30, 2024
Questionable for Sunday
Barrett (conditioning) is considered questionable for Sunday's matchup with the 76ers, Vivek Jacob of the Raptors' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has been sidelined for the last eight games due to a personal situation. Although he rejoined the team earlier in the week, he has not suited up, as he continues to get his conditioning back up to par. If he does ultimately get the green light Sunday, Toronto could still opt to ease him back into the swing of things. The forward had averaged 20.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.6 three-pointers in 33.7 minutes per game over 27 appearances with the Raptors since being acquired from the Knicks in late December.
Mar 26, 2024
Will not play Wednesday
Barrett (personal/conditioning) will be inactive for Wednesday's game against the Knicks , Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett and Immanuel Quickley (personal) have both been ruled out for Wednesday's contest. Barrett has been sidelined since March 11, but Toronto having until Sunday for his next opportunity to take the court is a substantial ramp up period. Barrett will certainly not be rushed back after dealing with the family tragedy, but he will likely reprise duties as a central figure in Toronto's rotation upon his return. Barrett had averaged 22.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists while burying 58.0 percent of 16.0 shots in 34.4 minutes per game across his last seven appearances.
Mar 26, 2024
Questionable for Tuesday
Barrett (personal) is regarded as day-to-day with a chance to return to action Tuesday against the Knicks, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett and Immanuel Quickley (personal) both continue ramping up in preparation for imminent returns. Sunday against Philadelphia would represent Barrett's next chance to take the court if he's deemed unavailable Wednesday.
Mar 25, 2024
Closing in on return
Barrett (personal) was listed out for Monday's game against the Nets due to "return to competitive conditioning", Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has been away from the Raptors over the last week and a half following a family tragedy, but he was spotted in the locker room Monday and appears to be getting back into playing shape. The Duke product hasn't taken the court since March 11, so he'll likely need at least a few days to ramp up his basketball activities.
Mar 15, 2024
No return timetable after tragedy
Coach Darko Rajakovic said Barrett, who remains away from the team while mourning the death of his younger brother, doesn't have a return timetable, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was already ruled out for Friday's game against the Magic, marking his second straight absence, and he'll likely remain away from the team for a while to be with his family. Rajakovic said Barrett has the team's full support, and the forward can take as much time as he needs, per Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca.
Mar 14, 2024
Won't play against Orlando
Barrett (personal) is out for Friday's game versus the Magic, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss his second straight contest Friday due to personal reasons. Gradey Dick, Ochai Agbaji and Bruce Brown should continue to receive increased playing time in his absence.
Mar 12, 2024
Ruled out for Wednesday
Barrett (personal) will not play Wednesday against Detroit, Vivek Jacob of the Raptors' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett's absence could unlock a starting role for Gradey Dick, while Ochai Agbaji, Bruce Brown and Javon Freeman-Liberty would receive uptick in usage. Barrett's next opportunity to take the court comes Friday versus Orlando.
Mar 12, 2024
Teases triple-double in loss
Barrett accumulated 26 points (10-20 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), seven rebounds and nine assists across 38 minutes during Monday's 125-119 loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
The fifth-year forward missed Saturday's game in Portland due to an illness, but he returned to lead a depleted Raptors roster in scoring while setting a season high in assists. Barrett has topped 20 points in six of his last seven games, averaging 22.9 points, 4.9 assists, 4.6 boards and 2.1 threes over that stretch while shooting 57.5 percent from the floor and a sizzling 53.6 percent from beyond the arc.
Mar 11, 2024
Officially available Monday
Barrett (illness) has been cleared for Monday's game against the Denver, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will return from a one-game absence due to illness after being a late scratch for Saturday's loss to Portland. Assuming he carries no lingering effects of his ailment, Barrett is a candidate for a slight bump in workload with Immanuel Quickley (hip), Gary Trent (groin) and Chris Boucher (knee) out Monday.
Mar 11, 2024
Upgraded to probable
Barrett (illness) has been upgraded to probable for Monday's game against the Nuggets, Doug Smith of the Toronto Star reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was a late scratch ahead of Saturday's game in Portland due to an aliment and was initially listed as questionable for Monday. However, he appears to be trending in the right direction and will likely return to action versus Denver, but Immanuel Quickley (hip) has been added to the injury report, joining Bruce Brown (knee) as questionable.
Mar 10, 2024
Questionable Monday
Barrett (illness) is listed as questionable for Monday's game in Denver.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was a late scratch from Saturday's game in Portland due to an illness and is now in danger of missing his second straight. Grady Dick, who replaced him in the starting lineup Saturday, would presumably be in line to do so again if Barrett is ultimately unable to get the green light. More light should be shed on his status closer to game time.
Mar 9, 2024
Late scratch for Saturday
Barrett (illness) is a late scratch for Saturday's game against Portland, Michael Grange of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett warmed up with the team and wasn't on the injury report, so this is an unfortunate surprise for his fantasy managers. Gradey Dick will start in Barrett's place and is likely to see heavy minutes Saturday.
Mar 8, 2024
Goes for 23 points in loss
Barrett posted 23 points (9-16 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 37 minutes during Thursday's 120-113 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has been an absolute model of consistency for the Raptors since being acquired in the trade that sent OG Anunoby to the Knicks. Even though he's had a few down games here and there, for the most part, Barrett has been consistently hitting the 20-point mark while putting up decent shooting percentages. Over his last 10 games, Barrett is averaging 19.6 points per game while shooting 54.4 percent from the field and 47.2 percent from beyond the arc.
Mar 4, 2024
Pops for team-high 23 in win
Barrett ended Sunday's 111-106 victory over the Hornets with 23 points (10-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 0-2 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and two steals in 35 minutes.
ANALYSIS
With Scottie Barnes (hand) facing a potentially lengthy absence, Barrett stepped up in his absence and led the Raptors in scoring. The fifth-year forward has topped 20 points in four straight games and eight of 11 since the beginning of February, averaging 20.5 points, 5.7 boards, 4.5 assists and 1.9 threes over that stretch while shooting 55.9 percent from the floor and 47.7 percent from beyond the arc, and Barrett's usage could creep up with Barnes out of the lineup.
Feb 29, 2024
Goes for 26 points in loss
Barrett contributed 26 points (9-16 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 4-9 FT), five rebounds and six assists over 35 minutes during Wednesday's 136-125 loss to the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was efficient from the field Wednesday and reached the 20-point mark for the third time over his last four appearances, as he's settling into a consistent role for the Raptors on offense. He's averaging 20.5 points per game since joining Toronto, so he's experienced a slight uptick in terms of scoring compared to his Knicks tenure, where he was posting 18.2 points per contest.
Feb 26, 2024
Starting Monday
Barrett (knee) is in the starting lineup for Monday's game against Indiana.
ANALYSIS
Barrett returns from a one-game absence due to management of a knee injury, but he is a candidate to reprise his typical workload Monday. The 23-year-old is averaging 16.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 29.0 minutes across his last three appearances.
Feb 25, 2024
Not listed on injury report
Barrett (knee) isn't listed on Toronto's injury report for Monday's game against the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett took a seat for the second half of Toronto's back-to-back set Friday but will return to action Monday. Over his last seven appearances, he's averaged 18.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 33.1 minutes per game.
Feb 23, 2024
Ruled out Friday
Barrett (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Hawks, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has been ruled out for the second half of Toronto's back-to-back set after posting 12 points, seven assists and five rebounds in 29 minutes during a blowout win over Brooklyn. In Barrett's absence, Bruce Brown will likely join the starting lineup, while Gradey Dick and Ochai Agbaji are candidates for increased playing time as well.
Feb 23, 2024
Deemed questionable Friday
Barrett is questionable for Friday's game versus the Hawks due to knee injury management, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett continues to deal with a lingering knee issue and could be held out of the second leg of Toronto's back-to-back Friday. If Barrett is unable to suit up, Ochai Agbaji, Bruce Brown and Jordan Nwora are candidates to receive increased playing time.
Feb 15, 2024
Sniffs double-double
Barrett closed with 23 points (9-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-8 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 127-125 loss to the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has been a consistent scorer for the Raptors this season, reaching the 20-point mark in seven of his last nine appearances with Toronto. He enters the All-Star break averaging 19.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game over six February appearances, and while his numbers have not fluctuated much compared to his New York days, he's handling a bigger workload, and that has resulted in a slight scoring increase.
Feb 14, 2024
Available for Wednesday
Barrett (personal) will be available for Wednesday's game against the Pacers, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was listed as "questionable" on the initial injury report for personal reasons, but he's officially with the team and will be in uniform Wednesday night. Feel free to get him active.
Feb 13, 2024
Iffy for Wednesday
Barrett (personal) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will carry a designation for the Raptors' final game before the All-Star break after he missed Tuesday's practice while tending to the personal matter. If Barrett rejoins the Raptors for shootaround Wednesday morning, he should be formally cleared ahead of the game's 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff and likely wouldn't be subject to any sort of minutes restriction.
Feb 13, 2024
Dealing with personal matter
Barrett did not practice Tuesday and his status is uncertain for Wednesday's game against Indiana, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett is away from the team Tuesday while dealing with a personal matter, putting his status for Wednesday in jeopardy. Gradey Dick and Ochai Agbaji represent the oncoming youth movement in Toronto, but Bruce Brown would likely also see an enlarged role if Barrett is unavailable.
Feb 11, 2024
Balanced game despite injury issues
Barrett registered 14 points (5-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-7 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal over 33 minutes during Saturday's 119-95 loss to the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett entered the game questionable with a knee injury, but took the court while ending as one of five Raptors players in double figures in scoring and ending three rebounds shy of a double-double in a losing effort. Barrett has tallied at least 14 points and seven boards in 12 games this season, including in two of his last four appearances.
Feb 10, 2024
Good to go Saturday
Barrett (knee) is available for Saturday's game versus the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has been upgraded from questionable to available Saturday despite dealing with a knee injury. Barrett is shooting an impressive 56.0 percent from the field and 39.1 percent from three since joining Toronto.
Feb 10, 2024
Questionable versus Cleveland
Barrett is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Cavaliers due to knee injury management.
ANALYSIS
Barrett doesn't appear to have suffered a serious injury, but the Raptors could opt to play it cautiously on the second leg of a back-to-back Saturday. If Barrett is ruled out, Ochai Agbaji, Bruce Brown and Jordan Nwora are candidates to receive increased playing time.
Feb 10, 2024
Efficient shooting in win Friday
Barrett registered 21 points (8-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 36 minutes during Friday's 107-104 victory over Houston.
ANALYSIS
Another game, another outing where Barrett reaches the 20-point plateau. He's extended his streak of games with 20 or more points to six outings, a span in which he's averaging 23.0 points per game while shooting an impressive 57.9 percent from the field and 38.1 percent from beyond the arc.
Feb 8, 2024
Leads Raptors in scoring Wednesday
Barrett finished Wednesday's 123-117 victory over the Hornets with 23 points (9-15 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one block across 33 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Barrett hit the 23-point mark after missing the Feb. 5 loss to the Pelicans, an identical scenario to what happened when he played 43 minutes in a 135-127 loss to the Thunder on Feb. 4 after missing three straight outings. Barrett has been reliable as Toronto's main scoring weapon following the departure of Pascal Siakam, who got traded to the Indiana Pacers in January, and he's scored at least 20 points in five straight appearances.
Feb 6, 2024
Not listed on injury report
Barrett (rest/knee) isn't listed on Toronto's injury report for Wednesday's game against the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett missed Monday's loss to the Pelicans for left knee injury management, which was the second night of a back-to-back set. He posted 23 points, seven rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block in 43 minutes during Sunday's 135-127 loss to the Thunder, which marked his return from a three-game absence. Barrett shouldn't face any restrictions versus Charlotte.
Feb 5, 2024
Resting Monday
Barrett (rest) will be held out of Monday's game against the Pelicans, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Monday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, and Barrett returned from a three-game absence Sunday against the Thunder and ended up playing 43 minutes. He finished with 23 points (9-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block. With Barrett taking the night off for injury management, the Raptors could turn to Bruce Brown and Gradey Dick.
Feb 4, 2024
Cleared for Sunday
Barrett (knee) is active for Sunday's game against Oklahoma City, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will return from a three-game absence due to left knee information. He joins a fully healthy cast of wings without much chemistry together, including Scottie Barnes, Bruce Brown, Gary Trent, Jordan Nwora and Gradey Dick.
Feb 3, 2024
Game-time decision for Sunday
Barrett (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Thunder, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has missed Toronto's last three contests while dealing with swelling in his left knee. He'll presumably give it a go in shootaround and warmups before the team makes a decision on his availability for Sunday.
Feb 2, 2024
Downgraded to out
Barrett (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss a third straight game due to left knee inflammation. Bruce Brown should continue to start in Barrett's absence, while the latter's next chance to suit up will come Sunday in Oklahoma City.
Feb 1, 2024
Questionable for Friday
Barrett (knee) is questionable for Friday's game versus the Rockets, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett is in danger of missing his third straight contest Thursday due to inflammation in his left knee. Bruce Brown will likely continue to start if Barrett is ruled out.
Feb 1, 2024
Limited in practice
Barrett (knee) went through a non-contact practice Thursday, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has missed Toronto's last two games due to inflammation in his left knee. While the 23-year-old's practice limitations don't bode well for his availability against Houston on Friday, fantasy managers should wait for an official injury update.
Jan 29, 2024
Won't play Tuesday
Barrett (knee) won't play in Tuesday's game against the Bulls, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss a second consecutive game after experiencing knee swelling Sunday morning. The extent of the injury remains unclear, but his next chance to suit up will come Friday in Houston. Jakob Poeltl (ankle) is also out and Immanuel Quickley (quadriceps) is doubtful, so Scottie Barnes, Dennis Schroder and Gary Trent should lead Toronto's offense again, while Bruce Brown and Grady Dick handle increased minutes.
Jan 28, 2024
Officially ruled out
Barrett (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Hawks, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Barrett has been downgraded from doubtful to out after being a late addition to the injury report Sunday morning due to left knee swelling. Immanuel Quickley (quadricep) and Jakob Poeltl (ankle) are also out, so Scottie Barnes, Dennis Schroder and Gary Trent should lead Toronto's offense, while Bruce Brown and Gradey Dick are candidates for elevated usage.
Jan 28, 2024
Considered doubtful for Sunday
Barrett (knee) is unlikely to play Sunday versus Atlanta, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett is dealing with left knee swelling. Barrett dropped 22 points in Friday's loss to the Clippers, looking explosive with no in-game injury being reported, but he's nonetheless at risk of missing his first game due to injury since Nov. 17.
Jan 27, 2024
Drops 22 against Clippers
Barrett recorded 22 points (9-19 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-8 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Friday's 127-107 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
The move back home to Toronto, as well as the subsequent Pascal Siakam trade, have put Barrett in a position to thrive. Over the last 10 games the fifth-year forward has scored 20 or more points eight times, averaging 22.6 points, 7.2 boards, 3.9 assists and 1.3 threes while shooting 56.6 percent from the floor.
Jan 23, 2024
Pops for team-high 29
Barrett produced 29 points (12-18 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and one block across 37 minutes during Monday's 108-100 loss to the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
The fifth-year guard led the Raptors in scoring on the night, but Scottie Barnes was the only other Toronto player to deliver more than 12 points. Barrett has scored at least 20 points in seven of the last nine games as he quickly gets comfortable with his new team, averaging 22.7 points, 7.3 boards, 3.9 assists and 1.4 threes over that stretch while shooting 57.9 percent from the floor.
Jan 21, 2024
Scores 20 against former team
Barrett finished with 20 points (8-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-9 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Saturday's 126-100 loss to the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Barrett reached the 20-point mark for the third time over his last four contests, and he has been delivering solid scoring figures since he was traded from New York to Toronto. Barrett is averaging 20.2 points per game while shooting 54.5 percent from the field since the start of January, completing those scoring figures with 7.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists per contest.
Jan 19, 2024
Hits for 17 in Thursday's loss
Barrett racked up 17 points (6-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, six assists and one steal across 35 minutes during Thursday's 116-110 loss to Chicago.
ANALYSIS
With Pascal Siakam now in Indiana, the path is clear for Barrett to be Toronto's No. 2 option on offense behind Scottie Barnes, although Immanuel Quickley also figures to provide key secondary scoring. Barrett has scored in double digits in nine of 10 games since joining the Raptors, averaging 20.2 points, 6.9 boards, 3.6 assists and 1.7 threes over that stretch while shooting 54.7 percent from the floor.
Jan 17, 2024
Efficient night in win
Barrett finished with 26 points (9-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 7-13 FT), eight rebounds and three assists in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 121-97 victory over Miami.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has settled into his new environment nicely and has scored 23 points or more in five of his last six games. He's also shot 50 percent or better from the field in seven of his nine appearances since being acquired by the Raptors on Dec. 30. Barrett is averaging 19.9 points on 56.0 percent shooting (including 44.1 percent from three), 7.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists over 33.0 minutes per game in January.
Jan 16, 2024
Scores 24 points in loss Monday
Barrett closed Monday's 105-96 loss to the Celtics with 24 points (11-19 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds and four assists across 36 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Barrett bounced back from his four-point outing against the Jazz on Jan. 12, and he seems to be adjusting well to the Raptors' offensive scheme, as he has reached the 20-point mark in four of his last five outings. Barrett is averaging 19.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game while shooting 56 percent from the field and 44.1 percent from deep since being traded to Toronto from New York.
Jan 11, 2024
Logs another big number in loss
Barrett finished Wednesday's 126-120 loss to the Clippers with 24 points (10-16 FG, 4-6 3Pt), five rebounds and four assists over 37 minutes.
ANALYSIS
While Barrett's secondary numbers have fluctuated since joining the Raptors, the team has given him ample opportunity to rack up shot volume. He's taken 49 shot attempts over his past three games, and converted them at a stunning 67.3-percent clip.
Jan 10, 2024
Solid work with new team
Barrett posted 23 points (10-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists and two steals across 35 minutes during Tuesday's 132-131 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has been strong right away for Toronto, averaging 21.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists since his arrival. He already has some synergy with Immanuel Quickley, and the duo is serving the Raptors well.
Jan 8, 2024
Drops 37 points in victory
Barrett produced 37 points (13-20 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 6-8 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Sunday's 133-118 win over the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was held below 20 points during each of his first three appearances in a Raptors uniform, but he put together a well-rounded performance Sunday that included a season-high scoring mark. Over his first four outings with his new club, he's averaged 21.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 31.3 minutes per game. Although he's had a limited sample with Toronto, Barrett should have plenty of involvement for the Raptors moving forward.
Jan 1, 2024
Nears double-double in debut
Barrett tallied 19 points (6-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-8 FT), nine rebounds and one assist over 30 minutes in Monday's 124-121 win over Cleveland.
ANALYSIS
Barrett got the start in his first action with Toronto since being traded by New York, finishing second on the team in scoring and rebounds while ending one board short of a double-double and one point shy of the 20-point mark. Barrett set a season high in rebounds in the win, tallying at least 10 points and seven rebounds in five games this year.
Jan 1, 2024
Starting in Toronto debut
Barrett will start at small forward Monday against the Cavaliers, Serena Winters of Bally Sports Cleveland reports.
ANALYSIS
It was unclear as to how the Raptors were planning to use Barrett immediately following Saturday's trade, but the team evidently feels comfortable enough to slot him in with the first unit. He'll start alongside Scottie Barnes, Immanuel Quickley, Pascal Siakam and Jakob Poeltl.
Jan 1, 2024
Set to make Knicks debut
Barrett (recently traded) is available for Monday's game against the Cavaliers, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was traded to the Raptors on Saturday, so his status was in doubt as he got acclimated with his new squad. He got acquainted with his teammates during Monday's morning shootaround and will be thrust into game action right away, but it's unclear how big of a role he'll play in his debut. Barrett figures to be Toronto's third-best offensive weapon behind Scottie Barnes and Pascal Siakam when he's up to full speed with Toronto's system, but Barrett may operate off the bench for a few games to gain a rhythm.
Jan 1, 2024
Availability still unclear
Barrett said after the Raptors' morning shootaround that he's unsure if he'll play in Monday's game against the Cavaliers, Vivek Jacob of the Raptors' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
"I practiced. I just got here. I know nothing," Barrett said when asked about his availability. Per Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca, the hope is Barrett and Immanuel Quickley will be able to suit up and make their Raptors' debut, but their official availability likely won't be known until a few hours ahead of the 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff.
Dec 31, 2023
Not listed on injury report
Barrett (recently traded) isn't listed on the Raptors' injury report for Monday's game against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was traded to Toronto on Saturday as part of the package deal that sent O.G. Anunoby to New York. Barrett should be able to make his Raptors debut Monday, but it's unclear how large of a role he'll play with his new team. Barrett figures to be Toronto's third-best offensive weapon behind Scottie Barnes and Pascal Siakam.
Dec 30, 2023
Headed to Toronto
The Knicks traded Barrett, Immanuel Quickley and draft considerations to the Raptors in exchange for OG Anunoby and Precious Achiuwa on Saturday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has put together a decent month of December in New York, averaging 17.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists over 12 contests, but he'll have big shoes to fill in Toronto as he looks to replace OG Anunoby at small forward. Barrett typically slotted in as the third-best offensive option while with the Knicks, but he figures to be one of the top scoring threats as part of this Raptors squad behind Pascal Siakam.
Dec 30, 2023
Tallies 19 points in loss
Barrett logged 19 points (7-17 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal in 37 minutes during Friday's 117-108 loss to the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Barrett assumed his usual part as the Knicks' third-best offensive weapon behind Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson, finishing third on the team with 19 points in defeat. It's an important role for the fifth-year pro, as only one other player on New York (Immanuel Quickley) averages double-digit points on the season. From a fantasy perspective, Barrett's season average of 18.2 points and 1.7 triples are somewhat useful, though he offers mediocre peripheral stats and is shooting just 42.3 percent from the field.
Dec 25, 2023
Pops for 21 in Christmas win
Barrett provided 21 points (8-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one steal across 28 minutes during Monday's 129-122 victory over Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
After four straight games of scoring between 12 and 18 points, Barrett found another gear as the Knicks ended a nine-game losing streak against the Bucks that dated back to November 2021. The fifth-year forward has scored more than 20 points in five of 11 games this month, averaging 17.8 points, 4.9 boards, 2.3 assists and 1.3 threes in December.
Dec 16, 2023
Bounces back with 21 points
Barrett closed with 21 points (6-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 8-8 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one block over 29 minutes during Friday's 139-122 victory over the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Barrett came back to life after tying his season-low nine-point effort against Utah. He bolstered Friday's total by going a perfect 9-for-9 from the charity stripe, where he's converting a career-high 84.2 percent of his attempts. Although he is falling behind his usual career averages, he has plenty of time to get those numbers up.
Dec 9, 2023
Goes for 23 points in loss
Barrett notched 23 points (9-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Friday's 133-123 loss to the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Barrett cleared the 20-point mark for the second consecutive game, and while he's firmly entrenched as one of New York's primary scoring alternatives alongside Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle, this was the first time he posted back-to-back 20-point games since a three-game stretch between Nov. 6 and Nov. 12. His overall numbers are a bit down compared to last season in most major categories, however, perhaps signaling his role as New York's clear third-best option on offense.
Dec 6, 2023
Flirts with double-double in loss
Barrett logged 23 points (7-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 8-8 FT), eight rebounds and one assist across 31 minutes during Tuesday's 146-122 loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Barrett scored at least 20 points for the first time in the past eight games, adding a season-high eight rebounds. After a hot start to the season, Barrett's numbers have declined of late. His efficiency was unsustainable to begin the campaign, as we have seen over the past three weeks. He still warrants a roster spot in most leagues, although managers should note that he doesn't offer any upside outside of points and threes.
Nov 27, 2023
Struggles with efficiency in loss
Barrett logged nine points (3-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one block across 31 minutes during Sunday's 116-113 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Barrett had scored in double figures in 10 consecutive appearances to begin the season, but he had one of his worst performances of the year during Sunday's narrow defeat. Over seven appearances in November, he's averaged 18.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 29.6 minutes per game. Despite being held in check Sunday, Barrett should have plenty of opportunities to bounce back.
Nov 24, 2023
Provides spark late in victory
Barrett produced 18 points (7-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds and one assist across 34 minutes during Friday's 100-98 victory over Miami.
ANALYSIS
Barrett saw a balanced game scoring and on the boards, finishing second on the team in rebounds while ending as one of five Knicks with a double-digit point total in a comeback victory. Barrett stepped up down the stretch for New York, tallying eight of his 18 points in the fourth quarter. Barrett, who hauled in a season-high-tying rebound total, has recorded at least 14 points and seven rebounds in two straight games.
Nov 18, 2023
Good to go Saturday
Barrett (illness) is available for Saturday's game versus the Hornets, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS

Nov 18, 2023
Officially a game-time decision
Barrett (illness) is expected to be game-time decision for Saturday's game against the Hornets, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett is at risk of missing his fourth straight game due to ongoing battles with migraines. Quentin Grimes (wrist) has been ruled out Saturday, so Josh Hart could be in store for a huge workload if Barrett is unable to go.
Nov 18, 2023
Iffy against Charlotte
Barrett (illness) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has missed the Knicks' last three contests while dealing with migraines but could return Saturday. If he's unable to suit up, Josh Hart would likely draw another start.
Nov 17, 2023
Ruled out Friday
Barrett (illness) won't play in Friday's game versus the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss his third straight game Friday after being downgraded from questionable to out due to migraines. Josh Hart will likely start once again in his absence. Barrett's next chance to suit up is Saturday's matchup with Charlotte.
Nov 16, 2023
Questionable against Washington
Barrett (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against Washington, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has missed the last two games due to migraines, and it's unclear whether he'll be able to return to action Friday. If he remains out Friday, Josh Hart will likely continue to handle a starting role, while Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson would also be candidates for increased work.
Nov 15, 2023
Won't play Wednesday
Barrett (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Hawks, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss a second straight game due to migraines. In Barrett's absence Monday, Josh Hart slid into the starting lineup, but Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson took on increased usage. A similar situation should unfold versus Atlanta. Barrett's next chance to suit up will arrive Friday in Washington.
Nov 14, 2023
Listed as questionable
Barrett (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was a late scratch Monday due to migraines and is in danger of missing a second straight game Wednesday. Josh Hart slid into the starting lineup in Barrett's absence versus Boston, but Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson handled increased usage. If Barrett is sidelined again, a similar situation would likely unfold Wednesday.
Nov 13, 2023
Downgraded to out
Barrett (illness) will not play Monday against Boston, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will be unable to suit up as he battles migraines. The Knicks will be shorthanded against a full strength Boston squad, putting extra pressure on Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson to produce offensively.
Nov 13, 2023
Now questionable due to illness
Barrett (illness) is a game-time decision for Monday's game against Boston, Jared Weiss of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett's illness is late breaking news. If he's unable to go, Quentin Grimes, Donte DiVincenzo and Josh Hart would absorb his usage.
Nov 13, 2023
Scores 24 points in easy win
Barrett amassed 24 points (9-16 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 31 minutes during Sunday's 129-107 victory over Charlotte.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has looked very good this season and has reached the 24-point mark in five of his first seven appearances. While he doesn't fill the stat sheet consistently in other categories, that shouldn't matter much, as Barrett's value is mainly tied to what he can do as a scorer.
Nov 7, 2023
Explodes for 26 points in return
Barrett closed with 26 points (9-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), six rebounds and four assists across 31 minutes during Monday's 111-97 victory over the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett missed New York's first two games of November due to a knee injury, but he didn't seem inhibited by the issue Monday. The 23-year-old tied his season high in scoring with an efficient effort from the field and a perfect performance from the charity stripe. For good measure, Barrett finished well above his season averages in both boards and assists to round out arguably his best stat line of the season. The fifth-year pro hasn't shown the ability to put up this level of complementary stats on a consistent basis, so his fantasy value will likely remain centered on his scoring ability.
Nov 6, 2023
Will play Monday
Barrett (knee) will play Monday against the Clippers, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has missed back-to-back games due to knee soreness but will return to the starting lineup Monday, sending Josh Hart back to a reserve role. Over his first four appearances this season, Barrett averaged 21.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 31.3 minutes per game.
Nov 5, 2023
Officially deemed questionable
Barrett (knee) is questionable for Monday's game against the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett participated in practice Sunday and is on track to play Monday as long as he doesn't experience any setbacks, but he'll still carry a questionable designation on the Knicks' initial injury report. He's been unavailable for the last two games due to knee soreness, and it's unclear whether he'll face any restrictions if he's able to suit up Monday.
Nov 5, 2023
On track for Monday
Barrett (knee) practiced Sunday and will play Monday against the Clippers barring a setback, Stefan Bondy of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has been inactive for the Knicks prior two contests due to knee soreness. He's trending strongly in the right direction to return Monday.
Nov 3, 2023
Won't play Friday
Barrett (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Bucks, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has been downgraded from questionable and will miss back-to-back games due to a sore left knee. In his absence, Josh Hart figures to draw another start. Barrett's next chance to suit up will come Monday against the Clippers.
Nov 2, 2023
Iffy against Milwaukee
Barrett (knee) is questionable for Friday's game versus the Bucks.
ANALYSIS

Nov 1, 2023
Downgraded to out
Barrett (knee) won't play in Wednesday's game versus the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has been downgraded from questionable to out Wednesday due to left knee soreness. His next chance to suit up is Friday's matchup with Milwaukee.
Nov 1, 2023
Questionable for Wednesday
Barrett is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers due to left knee soreness.
ANALYSIS
This is the second leg of a back-to-back, so we'll have to wait until closer to tip-off for more information. Barrett played 25 minutes Tuesday night and finished with 16 points, three rebounds and three triples. If he's unable to play, we could see more of Donte DiVincenzo, Quentin Grimes and Immanuel Quickley.
Oct 28, 2023
Minus-15 point differential in loss
Barrett supplied 18 points (7-16 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 30 minutes during Saturday's 96-87 loss to New Orleans.
ANALYSIS
Barrett had the best shooting night out of the Knicks starters but also finished the night with the worst point differential on the team at minus-15. It was a rough game for the Knicks who once again were hampered by a slow start and poor shooting, with the team shooting just 7-of-37 from beyond the arc. Barrett will look for a better outing Tuesday against the Cavaliers.
Oct 26, 2023
Goes for 24 points in loss
Barrett supplied 24 points (8-20 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal across 36 minutes during Wednesday's 108-104 loss to the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Both Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson struggled from the field in this one, but Barrett delivered an excellent outing and was one of the Knicks' top scorers in this tight four-point loss. Barrett is not exactly known for his efficiency, but this was a strong way to start the 2023-24 campaign. To note, Barrett scored at least 23 points in 23 different games during the 2022-23 regular season.
Oct 19, 2023
Nears 20 points in return
Barrett tallied 19 points (8-19 FG, 3-8 3Pt), seven rebounds and three assists over 34 minutes in Wednesday's 131-106 preseason loss to Washington.
ANALYSIS
Barrett returned to the floor for New York after missing the previous contest due to rest, finishing second on the team in scoring and one point short of the 20-point mark while playing a team-high minute total in the loss against Washington. Barrett has had a strong preseason for the Knicks, averaging 18.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists over 25.3 minutes in three appearances.
Oct 18, 2023
Starting against Wizards
Barrett (rest) will play and start Wednesday's game against the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Barrett sat out the Knicks' last presason contest for rest purposes but he'll be back in action Wednesday. He's starting alongside Jalen Brunson, Quinten Grimes, Julius Randle and Mitchell Robinson -- the presumptive starting five for New York this season.
Oct 17, 2023
Resting against Boston
Barrett is out for Tuesday's game versus the Celtics due to rest, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will sit out the first leg of New York's back-to-back. His next chance to suit up is Wednesday's preseason matchup with the Wizards.
Oct 15, 2023
Free-throw rampage continues
Barrett supplied 23 points (6-15 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 9-12 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 26 minutes during Saturday's 121-112 preseason loss to Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
Barrett's preseason motif of subpar shooting efficiency combined with awesome foul-drawing prowess is fascinating. He's expected to log more minutes at power forward this season, so it's possible that Barrett's slashing abilities could create more mismatches than in previous campaigns he spent on the wings.
Oct 10, 2023
Lives at the line
Barrett had 12 points (1-6 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 9-9 FT), two rebounds and two assists across 16 minutes during Monday's 114-107 preseason victory over the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Barrett couldn't hit his triples, but he was effective driving downhill. Overall, the 23-year-old netting 12 points on 10 true shot attempts is underwhelming, but he averaged 16.8 points with 37.3 percent three-point shooting across eight starts for Canada at the FIBA World Cup this summer.
May 12, 2023
Disappointing end to season
Barrett posted 11 points (1-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 9-10 FT), two rebounds and one assist across 32 minutes during Friday's 96-92 loss to the Heat in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
ANALYSIS
Barrett went just 1-of-10 from the floor, digging a hole for the Knicks who were bundled out of the playoffs. It is certainly not the end the fans were hoping for and looking ahead, Barrett's long-term role has to be re-visited. To this point in his career, he has shown no upside on the defensive end, while his scoring typically fluctuates from one game to the next. Should the Knicks hope to continue on their current trajectory, they are going to need a more reliable scoring threat than Barrett.
May 10, 2023
Another 20-point outing in victory
Barrett chipped in 26 points (8-17 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 7-8 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one block over 38 minutes during Wednesday's 112-103 victory over Miami in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
ANALYSIS
Barrett finished second on the team in scoring while finishing three rebounds shy of a double-double in Wednesday's Game 5 win-of-go-home contest against Miami. Barrett has posted at least 20 points in four of five games in the second-round series.
May 8, 2023
Strong from deep to boost offense
Barrett closed Monday's 109-101 loss to the Heat in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals with 24 points (9-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 35 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was a spark from deep for New York in Monday's Game 4 loss, connecting on a team-high-tying mark from three while finishing as one of three Knicks with 20 or more points. Barrett has surpassed the 20-point mark in three of the four games this series.
May 1, 2023
Scores game-high 26 points
Barrett registered 26 points (10-20 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-8 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 40 minutes during Sunday's 108-101 loss to the Heat in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
ANALYSIS
Barrett cobbled together a nice performance Sunday, not only leading all scorers with 26 points but also adding significant peripheral production. With Julius Randle (ankle) sidelined, Barrett took on more responsibility, although his efficiency from the stripe left a lot to be desired. Should Randle be unavailable for Game 2, Barrett would once again be forced to shoulder more of the scoring load.
Apr 27, 2023
Another efficient outing
Barrett provided 21 points (7-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal across 36 minutes during Wednesday's 106-95 win over the Cavaliers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
ANALYSIS
Barrett continued his efficient play by scoring 21 points on 53.8 percent shooting. The point total lands the guard second on the Knicks in scoring, only trailing teammate Jalen Brunson (23 points). Not only is Barrett starting to score in bunches, but he has also shot better than 50 percent in each outing. The Knicks will hope that the 22-year-old guard can continue his efficient shooting and provide a much-needed offensive boost as they advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Apr 23, 2023
Strong at the line in 26-point game
Barrett supplied 26 points (9-18 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 8-13 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one block in 37 minutes during Sunday's 102-93 win over the Cavaliers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
ANALYSIS
Barrett connected on a team-high mark from the free throw line en route to finishing second on the Knicks in scoring while ending Game 4 as one of two players with 25 or more points. Barrett surpassed the 20-point mark for the first time this postseason, having scored at least 15 points in two straight outings.
Apr 22, 2023
Efficient from field Friday
Barrett finished with 19 points (8-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt), eight rebounds, three assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Friday's 99-79 victory over the Cavaliers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
ANALYSIS
Barrett delivered a strong performance in Game 3, missing just four of his 12 shots and ending just two boards away from recording a double-double as the Knicks raced to a 20-point win at home. The former Duke star bounced back from two subpar showings in the first two games of the series, and in fact, this is the first time he reached the 15-point mark in the current postseason run.
Apr 19, 2023
Rough shooting in loss
Barrett contributed 14 points (4-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds and one steal across 33 minutes during Tuesday's 107-90 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was woeful from the floor, something that is becoming all too common. At this point in his career, the Knicks would love to see signs of improvement when it comes to his efficiency. Sadly, this has not been the case. If they are to push the Cavaliers in the series, Barrett is going to need to do more than just fire up ill-advised shots.
Apr 8, 2023
Team-high 28 points in return
Barrett notched 28 points (11-25 FG, 0-9 3Pt, 6-9 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and one block in 36 minutes during Friday's 113-105 loss to the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Barrett had a hard time getting going Friday after returning from a two-game absence due to an illness, knocking down just two of eight shots in the first quarter before entering the break with 13 points on 41.7 percent shooting from the field. The shooting guard dropped another 15 points on 6-of-13 shooting in the second half to lead the Knicks with 28 points on the night, but also struggled tremendously with the three ball, going 0-of-9 from beyond the arc in the contest. Barrett is shooting just 37.9 percent from the field over his last five games, though he has grabbed seven boards in two straight.
Apr 7, 2023
Good to go
Barrett (illness) is available for Friday's game against the Pelicans, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will return from a two-game absence due to an illness. It is the penultimate game of the regular-season, and the Knicks likely want to get him back in the swing of things before the playoffs commence.
Apr 6, 2023
Questionable Friday
Barrett (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has missed the last two games due to his illness, and it's unclear whether he'll be available for the Knicks' penultimate game of the regular season. If he sits again, Immanuel Quickley will likely draw another start.
Apr 5, 2023
Out Wednesday
Barrett (illness) will remain on the sidelines for Wednesday's game in Indiana.
ANALYSIS
Wednesday will mark the second straight game on the sidelines for Barrett due to this illness, and for now, he should be considered questionable for Friday's game in New Orleans. Immanuel Quickley should earn another start sans Barrett, and considering he put in 22 points, six rebounds, five assists, three triples and three steals across 37 minutes his last time out, he's certainly someone worth targeting with a favorable matchup against the Pacers.
Apr 4, 2023
Officially listed questionable
Barrett (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Despite earlier reports that Barrett will be available Tuesday, his official status is still uncertain. If he's unable to suit up, Josh Hart will likely receive a significant increase in minutes.
Apr 4, 2023
Will be available Wednesday
Barrett (illness) will be available for Wednesday's game against the Pacers, Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was sidelined for Sunday's win over Washington due to an illness, but he appears to have moved past the aliment and will return to action after missing only one contest. Over his last 15 appearances, the left-handed forward has averaged 19.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 32.7 minutes per game.
Apr 2, 2023
Out Sunday
Barrett has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Wizards due to an illness.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will be joining Julius Randle (ankle) on the sidelines for Sunday's game, so Jalen Brunson will be very busy on offense with Josh Hart and Obi Toppin being asked to step it up as well. Immanuel Quickley could be headed for a spot start, and if that's the case, he would make sense as a streamer.
Mar 28, 2023
Another solid effort
Barrett produced 19 points (6-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-9 FT), three rebounds, five assists and one steal in 29 minutes during Monday's 137-115 victory over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
The fourth-year forward has maybe not developed into the player some anticipated when he was the third overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, but Barrett has still been a very consistent part of a playoff-bound Knicks roster this season. The 22-year-old has scored in double digits in 17 straight games, averaging 19.5 points, 4.4 boards, 2.8 assists and 1.3 threes while providing a solid complementary scoring option behind Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson (hand).
Mar 24, 2023
Muted stat line in loss
Barrett had 10 points (3-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), two rebounds and three assists across 30 minutes during Thursday's 111-106 loss to Orlando.
ANALYSIS
Barrett posted 26 points Wednesday against the Heat wasn't very efficient from the field Thursday. He also committed five turnovers against the Magic, his worst mark since Feb. 27. The 22-year-old has been held under 15 points in just three of his 12 appearances this month, and he's averaged 20.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 33.1 minutes per game in March.
Mar 23, 2023
Puts up 26 points in loss
Barrett closed Wednesday's 127-120 loss to the Heat with 26 points (8-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 7-7 FT), six rebounds and five assists in 36 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was mediocre in Monday's loss to the Timberwolves, but he bounced back here and has now scored 20-plus points in four of his last five outings. The former Duke star is averaging 21.5 points per game while shooting 48.1 percent from the field in 11 appearances this month, but he needs to find a way to improve his three-point shooting since he's making just 26.8 percent of his long-range shots in that span.
Mar 20, 2023
Mediocre in loss Monday
Barrett amassed 13 points (4-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-5 FT), two rebounds and three assists across 27 minutes during Monday's 140-134 loss to the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Barrett didn't provide much excitement in the loss, continuing an empty season. Despite averaging 19.8 points per game thus far, Barrett ranks well outside the top 250 in nine-category formats, highlighting just how unimpactful he is across the other major categories. At this point, he should be viewed as nothing more than a streaming consideration, at least in standard formats.
Mar 13, 2023
Excels with huge second half
Barrett amassed 30 points (12-27 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds and two assists in 38 minutes during Sunday's 112-108 victory over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett scored 20 of his 30 points in the second half, effectively picking up the slack amid Jalen Brunson's (foot) absence. Barrett enjoyed a huge 44-point game back in late December but his recent numbers have been much lower, averaging 20.3 points over his past 10 games. His performance Sunday matched his third-highest point total of the season.
Mar 10, 2023
Paces team with 25 points
Barrett posted 25 points (9-23 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 6-10 FT), seven rebounds and two assists in 33 minutes during Thursday's 122-117 loss to the Kings.
ANALYSIS
The Knicks got Jalen Brunson back from a two-game absence for the contest, but the star guard managed just 19 minutes before being forced out again with left foot soreness. That shifted much of the offensive focus back on Barrett, and he responded with a team-high 25 points. Barrett has played well when Brunson has been out, averaging 27.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists over his past three games. He's already a must-roster player, but Barrett's fantasy stock will jump a notch if Brunson is forced to miss more time.
Mar 8, 2023
Leading scorer in loss
Barrett finished with a team-high 27 points (10-24 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 6-8 FT), six rebounds and four assists over 35 minutes during Tuesday's 112-105 loss to the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
The Knicks as a whole faded late after Sunday's emotional double-OT win over the Celtics, but Barrett still came through with his second straight big performance. The fourth-year forward has scored 20 or more points only four times in the last 12 games however, averaging 17.7 points, 4.3 boards, 2.7 assists and 1.7 threes over that stretch.
Feb 28, 2023
Falls flat versus Boston
Barrett produced 10 points (4-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes during Monday's 109-94 win over the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Barrett struggled to get anything going offensively and didn't register any marks in the defensive categories during an underwhelming fantasy night. The lefty did grab seven boards, his most since Feb. 2, but it certainly wasn't enough to mitigate his poor production elsewhere. Barrett has been susceptible to an occasional off night in the early stages of his career but tends to bounce back, so fantasy managers shouldn't take too much away from Monday's outing.
Feb 25, 2023
Scores efficient 25 points
Barrett finished Saturday's 128-106 win over New Orleans with 25 points (8-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and seven assists in 29 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was efficient from both the floor and the line, something that certainly can't be said on a nightly basis. Despite averaging almost 20 points per game this season, Barrett is well outside the top 200 in standard formats. Outside of points and triples, he offers very little on either end of the floor. Case in point, he is currently averaging 0.7 combined steals and blocks in 34.3 minutes per night. Hold him if you can deal with the flaws but outside of that, feel free to send him packing.
Feb 14, 2023
Not on injury report
Barrett is not on the injury report for Wednesday against the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Barrett is coming off the worst game of his season Monday against the Nets in which he scored four points in 24 minutes. There is still no clarity as to why he left Monday's game in the fourth quarter, so hopefully it was something very minor.
Feb 14, 2023
Struggles mightily against Nets
Barrett closed with four points (2-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and one rebound over 24 minutes during Monday's 124-106 victory over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett missed all five of his shots in the first half and didn't record any points, assists or rebounds until after halftime. He went back to the locker room with eight minutes to go in the fourth quarter for undisclosed reasons, but he did return to the bench. He clearly wasn't himself and hopefully the Knicks will provide some clarity soon.
Feb 12, 2023
Reaches 20-point threshold
Barrett fouled out of Saturday's 126-120 win over the Jazz after recording 20 points (6-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 6-8 FT), six rebounds and three assists in 34 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Barrett struggled to find his shot in Saturday's win, as he needed 15 attempts from the field to reach 20 points. He did manage to knock down a pair of threes, however, extending his streak of two or more made triples to three straight games.
Feb 7, 2023
Good to go against Orlando
Barrett (illness) is available for Tuesday's game versus the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will return to the lineup after missing the previous game with a non-COVID illness. His return will likely send Immanuel Quickley back to the bench, as the 22-year-old guard has started in all 48 of his appearances this season.
Feb 6, 2023
Questionable Tuesday
Barrett (illness) is questionable for Tuesday's game against Orlando.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was a late scratch for Sunday's game against the 76ers due to his illness, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be available Tuesday. Immanuel Quickley took Barrett's place in the starting lineup against Philadelphia, while Miles McBride and Evan Fournier also saw increased run.
Feb 5, 2023
Unlikely to play Sunday
Barrett is doubtful for Sunday's game against the 76ers due to an illness.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was in the starting lineup for Sunday's matchup but was deemed doubtful to play minutes before tipoff. Immanuel Quickley will take his place as a starter.
Feb 3, 2023
Paces Knicks with 30 points
Barrett totaled 30 points (13-23 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT), eight rebounds and four assists across 41 minutes during Thursday's 106-104 victory over Miami.
ANALYSIS
Barrett led the way for the Knicks, scoring a team-high 30 points on an efficient 13-of-23 from the floor. Right on brand, Barrett added no defensive production, something managers should be expecting at this point. The four assists were a nice bonus, although they were offset by the fact he went 0-of-5 from the perimeter. He is what he is at this point, a scoring threat who can chip in some boards.
Jan 29, 2023
Another 20-point effort Saturday
Barrett finished Saturday's 122-115 loss to the Nets with 24 points (9-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one block over 31 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Barrett put up another 20-point effort Saturday, the fifth time he has done so in his past seven games. Not only were the points there but he was also efficient from the floor, an element of his game that often raises questions. Despite being outside the top 200 this season, Barrett remains a viable commodity in standard formats, as long as defensive production is not high on your list of requirements.
Jan 23, 2023
Drops 30 points in loss
Barrett logged 30 points (10-18 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 6-9 FT), seven rebounds and five assists across 41 minutes during Sunday's 125-116 loss to the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Barrett posted a complete final line Sunday by leading his team in scoring and turning in his highest assist total since Dec. 21. The Duke product has scored 20-plus points in each of his last four contests, averaging 26.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists over this stretch.
Jan 19, 2023
21 points, seven boards in loss
Barrett amassed 21 points (9-21 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 116-105 loss to the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Barrett had a nice stretch between the second and third quarters where he went 7-of-11 from the field for 16 points, before going just 1-of-7 in the final period as the Knicks fell to Washington at home. The shooting guard broke the 20-point mark and grabbed seven boards for the second straight game, though he also led the team in turnovers with four. Barrett also failed to connect on a three pointer in the contest and is shooting 25 percent from beyond arc through five games this month.
Jan 16, 2023
Leads team in scoring
Barrett supplied 32 points (10-23 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 10-11 FT), seven rebounds and two assists over 49 minutes during Monday's 123-121 overtime loss to the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Barrett wasn't shy on the offensive end, where he hoisted up 23 field-goal attempts for the second time in four games since returning from injury. He didn't find much success from beyond the arc, but he still managed to pour in a team-high 32 points. Barrett is averaging 22.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists in his last four contests.
Jan 12, 2023
Scores 27 points in return
Barrett amassed 27 points (9-23 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds and four assists in 41 minutes during Wednesday's 119-113 victory over the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett struggled in terms of efficiency, something that could've been expected considering this was his first outing since missing six straight games between Dec. 29 and Jan. 9, but he still delivered a strong performance as the Knicks escaped with a tight win over the Pacers. Excluding the game against the Mavericks on Dec. 27 in which he only logged two minutes, the former Duke star has scored at least 20 points in eight of his last 10 outings.
Jan 11, 2023
Expected to start with no limit
Barrett (finger) will be available Wednesday against the Pacers and is expected to start with no minutes limit, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
After six missed games due to a lacerated finger, Barrett will make his return. His presence should kick Immanuel Quickley back to a reserve role. Before suffering the injury, Barrett was averaging 23.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists in December.
Jan 10, 2023
Considered questionable
Barrett (finger) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has missed six straight games with a laceration on his right index finger, but the 22-year-old was able to take part in most of Sunday's practice and appears close to a return. If the lefty is cleared for Wednesday's matchup, it's possible he'll face a minutes restriction, which would limit his overall fantasy value.
Jan 9, 2023
Officially out
Barrett (finger) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup against the Bucks, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss a sixth straight game due to a laceration on his right index finger. The 22-year-old lefty was able to take part in most of Sunday's practice, which suggests that he's getting closer to a return. Barrett's next chance to suit up will come Wednesday against the Pacers. In his absence, Immanuel Quickley and Quentin Grimes will continue to see increased playing time.
Jan 8, 2023
Gets doubtful tag for Monday
The Knicks list Barrett (finger) as doubtful for Monday's game against the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Though Barrett appears to be inching closer to a return from a laceration on his right index finger after he took part in most of Sunday's practice, the 22-year-old wing still looks to be trending toward missing a sixth consecutive game Monday. Barrett's ongoing absence should continue to open up more playing time and usage for Immanuel Quickley and Quentin Grimes.
Jan 8, 2023
Practices but status is uncertain
Head coach Tom Thibodeau said Barrett (finger) did most of Sunday's practice, but the forward's status for Monday's matchup against the Bucks is still to be determined, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has missed five straight contests due to a right finger laceration, but it appears he's getting closer to a return. More clarity on Barrett's availability will be available when New York releases its next injury report, but if the lefty is sidelined again Monday, he'll have three more opportunities to play during the Knicks' upcoming four-game week.
Jan 5, 2023
Still out Friday
Barrett (finger) won't play in Friday's game versus the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Barrett's absence streak will extend to five games with a right finger laceration. Friday was one of his initial targets to return, so he should retake the court soon unless a report of a setback in his recovery surfaces. Barrett will have an extra day to heal for Monday's matchup with the Bucks.
Jan 3, 2023
Remains sidelined Wednesday
Fred Katz of The AthleticBarrett (finger) is out for Wednesday's matchup with the Spurs, Fred reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss his fourth straight game with a right index finger laceration. Miles McBride, Quentin Grimes and Immanuel Quickley have all seen increased roles in his absence. Barrett's next chance to suit up is Friday's matchup with Toronto.
Dec 28, 2022
Likely sidelined around a week
Barrett (finger) will miss Thursday's game versus the Spurs and will likely miss "a week or so," Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett suffered a right index finger laceration in Tuesday's contest that is serious enough to warrant additional time on the sidelines. While the team hasn't placed an official timeline on his return, it seems appears Barrett is slated to miss multiple games as a result. Assuming the timetable holds true, Barrett could be eyeing a return to the floor either Jan. 4 versus the Spurs or Jan. 6 against the Raptors
Dec 27, 2022
Won't return Tuesday
Barrett won't return to Tuesday's game against Dallas due to a right index finger laceration.
ANALYSIS
Barrett suffered the injury early in the first quarter of Tuesday's matchup, as the guard missed his only field-goal attempt and dished out one assist in two minutes before exiting. It's currently unclear how severe Barrett's cut on his finger is, but looking ahead, he'll presumably be tabbed questionable for the Knicks' next contest Thursday against the Spurs.
Dec 23, 2022
Scores season-high 44 points
Barrett logged 44 points (14-20 FG, 6-6 3Pt, 10-13 FT), seven rebounds and four assists over 39 minutes during Friday's 118-117 loss to Chicago.
ANALYSIS
Barrett produced his best game of the season Friday and scored 19 of his 44 points in the second quarter. The performance was just two points shy of his personal best set last season. The 22-year-old has scored at least 22 points in seven of his last eight games and is averaging 27.3 points per game in that span after scoring just 18.2 points per contest through his first 25 appearances.
Dec 22, 2022
30 points and five boards in loss
Barrett racked up 30 points (11-19 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal over 46 minutes during Wednesday's 113-106 loss to the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has been on a tear of late and has been one of New York's main scoring threats in recent weeks, making at least eight field goals in each of his last seven appearances and scoring at least 20 points five times during that stretch. The lack of consistency on a game-to-game basis has been a huge issue for the former Duke star this season, but he seems to be moving in the right direction. Barrett is averaging 21.7 points per game in December.
Dec 16, 2022
Leads all scorers with 27 points
Barrett logged 27 points (9-20 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 6-11 FT), four rebounds and two assists over 38 minutes during Friday's 114-91 win over Chicago.
ANALYSIS
Barrett dropped another 20-point performance Friday, powering the Knicks to their sixth straight win. Sadly, he was poor from the free throw line and failed to add any defensive stats, capping what was another strong offensive performance. He has been a top-100 player over the past week, averaging 25.3 points per game. While he remains outside the top 200 for the season, he is a must-roster player, given anyone who rosters him should be prepared for his inefficient shooting.
Dec 12, 2022
Pours in 27 points
Barrett totaled 27 points (9-21 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 7-9 FT), nine rebounds, six assists, two blocks and three steals over 44 minutes during Sunday's 112-99 victory over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Barrett got off to a slow start Sunday by scoring only two points in the first quarter, but he heated up in the second period, posting 10 points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal. He would go on to score 15 points in the second half to tie Julius Randle for the top scoring mark in this game. Barrett has been playing at a high level so far in December, averaging 19.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.4 steals in 33.2 minutes.
Dec 10, 2022
Surges for 26 points
Barrett supplied 26 points (9-18 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 7-8 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one steal across 35 minutes during Friday's 121-102 victory over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett came into the contest having averaged 14.3 points on 37.1 percent shooting over his previous three games, but he turned things around Friday. The fourth-year pro finished second among all players in scoring behind teammate Julius Randle (33 points), and he chipped in solid numbers as a rebounder and a passer as well. Barrett's inefficient shooting brings down his fantasy value, but there's still some viability in a wing who averages 18.5 points, 5.5 boards and 1.5 three-pointers per game.
Dec 1, 2022
Solid shooting in loss
Barrett supplied 26 points (8-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 8-9 FT), two rebounds and three assists over 33 minutes during Wednesday's 109-103 loss to Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
Barrett had a terrific first half shooting the ball, knocking down five of six field goal attempts and all four of his shots from the free-throw line for 15 points. He struggled a bit in the second half with 11 points on 3-of-9 shooting, though he still went on to lead New York with 26 points in the contest. The Knicks forward has scored 20 or more points in three of his last five games but continues to underwhelm in most other stat categories.
Nov 27, 2022
Scores efficient 22 points in loss
Barrett closed with 22 points (9-18 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and four assists across 37 minutes during Sunday's 127-123 loss to the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Barrett continues to alternate good and bad games, scoring 22 points on 50 percent shooting, following on from a game in which he was dreadful from the field. The fact he adds very little outside of scoring on a nightly basis does put a significant cap on his overall fantasy value. He is worth rostering in most leagues but anyone invested in him should be used to dealing with his flaws, both offensively and defensively.
Nov 22, 2022
Erupts for 25 points
Barrett notched 25 points (10-16 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Monday's 129-119 victory over the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Barrett's shot was working in Oklahoma City, as he turned in his best scoring performance since Nov. 11 against Detroit. He continues to show that he can score with ease when his shot is falling, but he's been unreliable through the first month of the new campaign. Barrett was shooting 26.3 percent from the field and 8.0 percent from three in the five contests prior to Monday's clash.
Nov 16, 2022
Pours in 18 points
Barrett amassed 18 points (5-18 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 8-14 FT), three rebounds and four assists across 37 minutes during Tuesday's 118-111 win over the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Barrett doesn't have a very reliable floor, but he can go off when his shot is dialed in, as he displayed over the weekend with 30 points against Detroit. He put up 18 shots in the win, which represents one of his highest totals this season.
Nov 12, 2022
Explodes for 30 points
Barrett accumulated 30 points (10-17 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 7-8 FT), five rebounds and five assists in 38 minutes during Friday's 121-112 win over the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Barrett reached the 30-point mark for the first time this season and was a key cog in the win over the Pistons, but the uptick in his scoring figures has been noticeable since the turn of the month. He's averaging 22.7 points per game while shooting 48 percent from the field in six November appearances, which is an upgrade compared to the figures he posted in October in the same categories -- 17.7 points per game and 40 percent from the field.
Nov 10, 2022
Average showing in blowout
Barrett collected 16 points (5-14 FG, 2-4 3PT, 4-8 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 30 minutes Wednesday against Brooklyn.
ANALYSIS
Barrett managed to score in double figures but struggled to find his shooting touch. It was his lowest scoring performance since Oct. 30 against Cleveland for a guard who averaged 19.6 points through his first 10 contests of the 2022-23 campaign. On a more positive note, Barrett has recorded a steal in five straight matchups.
Nov 5, 2022
Comes close to double-double
Barrett logged 22 points (8-16 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Friday's 106-104 victory over the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett tied his highest scoring mark of the season and delivered a season-high output in rebounds, so this outing could be categorized as his best outing of the campaign so far. Barrett remains a serviceable offensive threat and plays a major role in the Knicks' offense, but his numbers have regressed a bit compared to what he accomplished in the 2021-22 campaign, particularly in the scoring and efficiency categories.

Serviceable performance Sunday
Barrett closed with 15 points (6-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt), five rebounds and two assists over 33 minutes during Sunday's 121-108 loss to the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was fine in the loss, without doing anything too spectacular. The fact he shot 60 percent from the field and didn't make it to the line were both positives, highlighting just how rough his percentages have been. While he is quite clearly a 12-team commodity, he does come with his obvious flaws. Anyone who drafted him should have been prepared for the empty lines, making this a serviceable effort.

Shooting struggles continue in win
Barrett produced 22 points (9-21 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one block over 39 minutes during Wednesday's 134-131 overtime win over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett missed six of his last seven shots, including three layups, as the Knicks held on to win in overtime. For the third time in four games, he failed to make a three-point shot and he is just 3-for-21 from beyond the arc for the year. The 22-year-old continues to struggle to be an efficient scorer and has made only 37.0 percent of his field-goal attempts in the early going.
Oct 21, 2022
Hits for 18 in win over Pistons
Barrett finished Friday's 130-106 win over the Pistons with 18 points (8-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one block over 28 minutes.
ANALYSIS
After a disastrous 3-for-18 shooting performance in New York's first game of the season, a three-point loss in Memphis on Wednesday, Barrett looked a lot more comfortable in the Knicks' home opener. The fourth-year wing led the starting five in scoring, but after coming into the year as a career 35.3 percent shooter from three-point range, he's 0-for-9 from beyond the arc so far in 2022-23.
Oct 15, 2022
Wraps strong preseason
Barrett logged 19 points (6-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists and a block during 33 minutes of action in Friday's 105-89 win over the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Barrett concludes preseason action averaging 19.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. He connected on a blistering 50.0 percent (11-of-22 3Pt) of his triples through New York's four contests. He'll look to stay hot in the Knicks' season opener against Memphis on Wednesday.
Oct 13, 2022
Scores 21 in loss
Barrett scored 21 points (7-14 FG, 1-5 3 Pt, 6-7 FT) with four rebounds and three assists over 27 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett had a solid night overall with the exception of going just 1-of-5 from the three-point line. He had two nice assists in the first quarter to Julius Randle for three, and then to Obi Toppin for an easy dunk, while shooting 3-of-7 in the first half. The Knicks guard then added 12 third-quarter points before watching his team blow the lead in the fourth quarter from the bench.
Oct 4, 2022
Hits for 21 in preseason opener
Barrett scored 21 points (8-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding five rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in 23 minutes during Tuesday's preseason win over the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
With a huge four-year contract extension in his pocket, Barrett got his preseason off to a flying start, leading all scorers on the night with an impressive display of offense. The Knicks are setting expectations high after they also added Jalen Brunson to the backcourt, and they'll need Barrett to take another step forward in his development after the 22-year-old averaged 20 points a game for the first time last season.
Aug 30, 2022
Finalizing four-year extension
Barrett and the Knicks began finalizing a four-year, $120 million contract extension Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The extension could become official in the coming days and could halt momentum for a potential deal with the Jazz for Donovan Mitchell, as the Knicks had previously been including Barrett as part of their proposed trade packages to Utah in exchange for the All-Star guard. According to Ian Begley of SportsNet New York, the $120 million outlay would represent the upper range of the 22-year-old's extension, as the contract includes incentives for All-Star appearances and selections to any of the three All-NBA teams or the two All-NBA Defensive teams. After averaging a career-high 20.0 points per game in 2021-22 while shooting 40.8 percent from the field and 34.2 percent from three-point range, Barrett could see his efficiency improve in his fourth NBA season while he plays alongside point guard Jalen Brunson, who joined the Knicks on a four-year, $104 million deal earlier this offseason.

Ruled out for season finale
Barrett (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Raptors, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett sustained a sprained right knee in Friday's game against the Wizards, and coach Tom Thibodeau said that the issue will keep the 21-year-old sidelined for the regular-season finale. Quentin Grimes (knee), Alec Burks and Evan Fournier could see additional run against Toronto.
Apr 8, 2022
Won't return Friday
Barrett won't return to Friday's game against the Wizards due to a sprained right knee.
ANALYSIS
Barrett went to the locker room late in the second quarter Friday, and he'll be unavailable for the second half. Prior to his departure, he recorded 14 points (6-10 FG, 2-4 FT), three rebounds and two assists in 15 minutes. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available for Sunday's regular-season finale against Toronto.
Apr 2, 2022
Regresses in loss
Barrett recorded 12 points (4-18 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 34 minutes during Saturday's 119-101 loss to the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett's 12 points were his fewest since Jan. 31, which was also the last time he made four or fewer field goals in a game. While Barrett is certainly prone to inefficient performances, he had at least scored 20 points in nine of his previous 11 appearances. A softer matchup is in store Sunday against the Magic.
Mar 28, 2022
Leads team with 21 points
Barrett provided 21 points (7-18 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 6-7 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and one steal across 36 minutes during Sunday's 104-102 win over the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Barrett's shooting percentage was so-so, but he sunk six free throws and grabbed nine rebounds, helping to pad his fantasy total. He finished out an amazing week that included two 30-point performances and averaged an eye-popping 24.6 points and 8.0 rebounds over that span.
Mar 24, 2022
Shines against Hornets
Barrett ended with 30 points (10-19 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 7-8 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 121-106 win over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett is widely considered as the Knicks' second-best player in terms of scoring and has now scored 30 points in two games in a row. In fact, the former Duke standout has scored 20-plus points in six of his last seven contests.
Mar 23, 2022
Huge double-double in loss
Barrett notched 30 points (9-25 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 11-17 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists and two steals across 42 minutes during Tuesday's 117-111 loss to Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was busy on the glass in the loss, hauling in 13 boards to go with his team-high 30 points. A pair of steals rounded out what was a productive night, albeit one that came with poor efficiency from both the field and the line. Poor shooting is something that fantasy managers should be used to by now, an element of his game that certainly limits his overall value. With that said, if you are prepared for the hit to those two categories, nights like this are truly a blessing.
Mar 17, 2022
Scores 31 in rout
Barrett registered 31 points (10-20 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 6-7 FT), four rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals across 40 minutes during Wednesday's 128-98 victory over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett led the way for the Knicks as they bounced back from two consecutive losses to the Grizzlies and Nets over the weekend. The third-year guard continues to blossom as a scorer, topping 20 points for the ninth time in his last 10 games. Since the break, Barrett is up to 26.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.1 made threes per game (33.9% 3Pt).
Mar 10, 2022
Efficient outing in blowout
Barrett chipped in 18 points (7-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds and four assists in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 107-77 victory over Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Although Barrett couldn't sink a lomg0range shot, he produced an excellent line in the decisive win. Like Julius Randle, Barrett was blowout-proof with 38 minutes of court time.
Mar 8, 2022
Drops 29 points in win
Barrett registered 29 points (11-21 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds and six assists over 37 minutes during Monday's 131-115 win over Sacramento.
ANALYSIS
Julius Randle (46 points) was the star of the show for New York on Monday, but Barrett served as a more-than-capable sidekick with a strong all-around effort. The third-year forward hit over half of his field-goal attempts for the first time in five contests and rounded out his stat line with eight boards and a team-leading six assists. Barrett has now scored at least 20 points in six straight games.
Mar 7, 2022
Scores 24 in runaway victory
Barrett supplied 24 points (8-18 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-7 FT), nine rebounds and four assists over 33 minutes during Sunday's 116-93 win over the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
The Knicks rode a big second quarter to cruise to a blowout win with Barrett's 24 points ending up as the game-high. While New York has mostly sputtered of late, Barrett continues to display more consistency as a scorer, having topped 20 points in eight of his last nine games. For the season, he's up to a career-best 19.0 points per game, though he's shooting only 41.2 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from three (down from 40.1% 3Pt in 2020-21).
Mar 2, 2022
Pops for game-high 30 points
Barrett contributed 30 points (10-23 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 7-8 FT), six rebounds and seven assists over 40 minutes during Wednesday's 123-108 loss to the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett led all scorers in the loss, continuing his strong season. While the Knicks did manage to blow yet another double-digit lead, Barrett can certainly hold his head high. On an interesting side note, the seven assists also marked his highest total since all the way back in November of 2019. His lack of defensive contributions do drag down his overall value but his improved offensive output is enough for him to be considered a must-roster player in all formats.
Feb 26, 2022
Erupts for career-high 46 points
Barrett (ankle) poured in a career-high 46 points (13-22 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 14-22 FT) and added nine rebounds and two assists across 38 minutes Friday in the Knicks' 115-100 loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
If not for his poor showing from the free-throw line, Barrett would have turned in one of the top overall fantasy lines of the NBA's nine-game Friday slate, but those that used him in DFS or get him active in season-long leagues certainly won't complain about his elite scoring production on efficient shooting from the field and downtown. Given that he's converting at only a 41.7 percent clip from the field and 36.2 percent rate from distance for the season, Barrett can't be relied upon for regular 40-point outbursts, but he looks like a solid option in 12-team leagues now that he's healthy again. Barrett had previously missed the Knicks' last four games with a left ankle sprain.
Feb 25, 2022
Good to go
Barrett (ankle) is available for Friday's matchup against the Heat, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
After four straight absences, Barrett returns to the lineup, which is now without Kemba Walker after he was sent home for the remainder of the season. Prior to his absence, Barrett had reached double-figure scoring in 21 straight games, averaging 22.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 36.0 minutes.
Feb 24, 2022
Questionable Friday
Barrett (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game against the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was a full participant in practice Wednesday, and he'll have a chance to return to game action after missing the last four matchups with a left ankle sprain. Across his five appearances prior to his absence, he averaged 22.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 38.8 minutes per game.
Feb 23, 2022
Goes through practice Wednesday
Barrett (ankle) went through a full practice Wednesday, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
A sprained left ankle kept Barrett sidelined for the Knicks' final four games before the break, but he used the time off to recover, and it looks like he's on track to play Friday against Miami. The Knicks stopped short of officially clearing him to play, but as of now he looks to be more "probable" than "questionable."
Feb 17, 2022
Expected back after break
Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau said after Wednesday's 111-106 loss to the Nets that he anticipates Barrett (ankle) will be ready to play in the team's first game following the All-Star break Feb. 25 versus the Heat, Brian Lewis and Mark W. Sanchez of the New York Post report. "I do," Thibodeau said, when asked if Barrett will be available against Miami. "He's pretty close. We just thought it was better [to rest him] going to the break."
ANALYSIS
Barrett missed the Knicks' final four games of the first half with the left ankle sprain, which he sustained in the final minute of a Feb. 8 loss to Denver. The injury came at a particularly inconvenient time for Barrett, who had been averaging 22.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.4 triples in 36.5 minutes per game dating back to the start of January. Considering that he could be rusty when he returns in addition to the Knicks likely adding another high-usage player back to the mix in Derrick Rose (ankle) following the All-Star break, Barrett probably shouldn't be expected to immediately resume producing at the level he had been prior to spraining his ankle.
Feb 15, 2022
Remains sidelined Wednesday
Barrett (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's contest against the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will be sidelined for the Knicks' final contest before the All-Star break, marking his fourth consecutive absence. Quentin Grimes has started in his place in each of the last three contests and figures to do so again on Wednesday.
Feb 13, 2022
Still out Monday
Barrett (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game versus Oklahoma City.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss his third consecutive game due to a sprained left ankle. Quentin Grimes has started in his placed the past two contests and figures to do so again Monday against the Thunder.
Feb 11, 2022
Ruled out Saturday
Barrett (ankle) is out Saturday against the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss a second straight game due to a left ankle sprain. Quentin Grimes and Cam Reddish could see additional run once again.
Feb 10, 2022
Out at Golden State
Barrett (ankle) is out for Thursday's matchup against the Warriors, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett sprained his left ankle during garbage time of Tuesday's loss to the Nuggets. In his absence, Quentin Grimes and Cam Reddish could see increased run.
Feb 9, 2022
Likely out Thursday
Barrett (ankle) is doubtful to play Thursday at Golden State.
ANALYSIS
Barrett suffered a left ankle sprain during the closing stages of Tuesday's loss to the Nuggets, and he's expected to be sidelined for at least one game. Immanuel Quickley and Cam Reddish could see more run in his likely absence for the Knicks.
Feb 9, 2022
Tweaks ankle late in Tuesday's loss
Barrett exited in the final minute of Tuesday's 132-115 loss to the Nuggets with an apparent left ankle sprain, Marc Berman of the New York Post reports. He finished the night with 18 points (7-19 FG, 4-6 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists in 35 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Even though the Nuggets had the game well in hand late in the fourth quarter, Barrett was still on the court in the closing minutes. The decision proved costly, as Barrett took an awkward step on the foot of Denver's Davon Reed with approximately 18 seconds remaining, then limped badly to the sideline when he checked out of the contest. According to Berman, Barrett was still sporting a limp in the locker room after receiving treatment nearly an hour after the contest, so his status will bear watching heading into the final two games of the Knicks' road trip. New York returns to action Thursday with a matchup against the Warriors.
Feb 8, 2022
Puts up 23 inefficient points
Barrett registered 23 points (8-25 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 6-8 FT), seven rebounds and six assists across 43 minutes during Monday's 113-104 loss to the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Barrett extended his streak of scoring at least 23 points to three games, but the point production came at the cost of an ugly 8-for-25 effort from the field. The third-year forward made up in part for the poor shooting by adding seven boards, six assists and only one turnover. Barrett continues to emerge as a consistent -- but sometimes inefficient -- offensive weapon for the Knicks, posting at least 13 points in 20 straight contests.
Feb 6, 2022
Career-high 36 points in loss
Barrett finished with 36 points (13-28 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 6-9 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and one steal over 50 minutes during Saturday's 122-115 overtime loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was efficient from the field en route to a career-high 36 points, including a game-tying three with five seconds left in regulation. The third-year wing also finished with at least eight rebounds and five assists in the same game for just the fifth time this season. Over his last 19 contests, Barrett has averaged 22.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 35.6 minutes while shooting 44.0 percent from the field and 37.2 percent from three. With Julius Randle experiencing a significant regression after a career season a year ago, Barrett has stepped up and solidified himself as a go-to player, especially over the last month and a half.
Jan 29, 2022
Drops 23 but Knicks fall
Barrett notched 23 points (6-20 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 8-10 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 35 minutes during Friday's 123-108 loss to Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
It wasn't the most efficient shooting night for Barrett, who hit just three of his 12 attempts from two-point range, but he had an uncharacteristically efficient night at the free throw line, where he's hitting just 68.9 percent of his attempts on the year. With Julius Randle looking like a complete shell of himself, Barrett has taken over as the Knicks' top offensive threat over the last few weeks. He's now scored at least 15 points in 15 of his last 16 games, averaging 22.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 0.9 steals and 2.3 threes during that run.
Jan 24, 2022
Drives at will
Barrett scored 24 points (9-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-10 FT), tacking on five rebounds, four assists and two steals across 34 minutes during Monday's 95-93 loss to the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Although going five-for-10 from the free-throw line loomed large in a two-point defeat, Barrett was productive once again. His ability to slash inside against a Cavaliers team that is solid defensively is noteworthy. Behind Julius Randle, Barrett seems entrenched as the second scoring option for the Knicks moving forward.
Jan 24, 2022
Stellar with 28/14 double-double
Barrett recorded 28 points (9-24 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 14 rebounds, six assists and one block in 43 minutes during Sunday's 110-102 win over the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett is excellent at going left when driving to the basket, but he made almost all of his shots with his right hand, confounding Clippers defenders who had schemed the former Duke standout differently. The 21-year old is having a great January, averaging 22.9 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists over 11 games.
Jan 17, 2022
Posts double-double in loss
Barrett totaled 18 points (7-18 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists and two steals across 39 minutes during Monday's 97-87 loss to the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett saw slightly less production on the scoreboard Monday after totaling at least 26 points in each of the last three games, but he led the Knicks in rebounds en route to his second double-double of the 2021-22 campaign. After having his playing time monitored in late December following a lengthy absence, the 21-year-old has resumed his normal workload and has been a strong fantasy contributor.
Jan 16, 2022
Another solid performance
Barrett ended Saturday's 117-108 win over the Hawks with 26 points (8-20 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 8-10 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal over 41 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Over his last three games, Barrett's averaging 29.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 37.7 minutes per game while shooting a scalding 56.3 percent from from three. On the season, the lefty forward is averaging 16.9 points on 35.7 percent shooting from distance, so Barrett is likely due for a regression soon. However, fantasy managers shouldn't fret over the inevitable and enjoy what is arguably the best stretch of the third-year pro's career so far.
Jan 13, 2022
Shines with 32-point outing
Barrett produced 32 points (13-22 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and two assists over 41 minutes during Wednesday's 108-85 victory over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
The former Duke star has been struggling with his shot through most of the season and his overall numbers are down compared to the previous campaign, but he seems to be turning things around of late. This was his second straight game with 30-plus points and he's now cleared that mark in three of his last five contests.
Jan 10, 2022
Powers Knicks to victory Monday
Barrett amassed 31 points (12-20 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one block across 31 minutes during Monday's 111-96 win over San Antonio.
ANALYSIS
Barrett dropped at least 30 points for just the fifth time in his career, coming alive in the victory. The game was in the balance until Barrett took over, flashing his offensive upside in the process. Of course, we know not to expect this kind of performance on a nightly basis. Despite this effort, fantasy managers would certainly like to see some peripheral numbers to go along with increased efficiency when considering his all-around skill set.
Jan 9, 2022
Paces Knicks with 19 points
Barrett ended Saturday's 99-75 loss to the Celtics with 19 points (7-21 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-5 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two steals over 43 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Barrett played the hero in the previous matchup between the teams Thursday, but he had to settle for leading New York in scoring in the lopsided rematch. The third-year guard didn't shoot particularly well, but neither did the Knicks as a whole -- they shot just 36.7 percent from the field as a team. Barrett has notched double-digit scoring in six straight contests, his longest streak racking up seven consecutive games with at least 10 points from Oct. 24 to Nov. 5.
Jan 6, 2022
Nails game-winning bucket
Barrett totaled 13 points (4-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and six assists in 33 minutes during Thursday's 108-105 win over the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Barrett salvaged a poor shooting night by banking in a game-winning, desperation three pointer as time expired. After missing six games due to COVID-19 protocols in mid-December, the third-year pro registered back-to-back single-digit scoring performances. However, he's bounced back to score in double figures in five straight games and is averaging 21.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists during those contests. Barrett will look to rebound from his poor shooting performance in Saturday's rematch at Boston.
Jan 5, 2022
Matches season-high in victory
Barrett ended with 32 points (12-20 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-8 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one steal in 42 minutes during Tuesday's 104-94 victory over Indiana.
ANALYSIS
The sell-high window on Barrett is wildly flapping in the wind right now, as he continues what has been one of the best stretches of his career. Based on what we have seen in the past, there is almost certainly a regression coming, meaning the time to sell is now. As long as the Knicks are without a couple of primary options, Barrett should continue logging heavy minutes on a nightly basis. If you are simply looking for points and rebounds, feel free to just ride this one out if the other managers in your league are hesitant to take the bait.
Jan 3, 2022
Solid in loss
Barrett finished with 19 points (6-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal in 29 minutes during Sunday's 120-105 loss to the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
The Duke product continues to be a solid source of offense for the Knicks as Julius Randle (COVID-19) remains watching from home. Barrett has averaged 22.5 points per game over the Knicks' two contests without their All-Star forward. While Barrett is usually a high-risk, high-reward fantasy option, he does seem to have a higher floor as long as Randle is out of the lineup.
Dec 31, 2021
Goes off for 26 points in loss
Barrett ended with 26 points (10-20 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 5-9 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two steals in 36 minutes during Friday's 95-80 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was a one-man show in the loss, scoring almost one-third of the Knicks' total points. This was an ugly loss for New York who is simply a shell of the team that they were to open the season. Barrett is about as inconsistent as you will find but he could be worth streaming in until they get a few more bodies back on the floor.
Dec 25, 2021
Struggles in return
Barrett chipped in nine points (4-15 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 0-2 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one block in 26 minutes during Saturday's 101-87 victory over Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Barrett returned following a six-game absence due to protocols. He apparently needs more time to shake the rust off, as his shooting was abysmal. That said, Barrett has had plenty of ups and downs all year. Saturday's effort marked his 12th game making four or fewer field goals.
Dec 25, 2021
Good to go
Barrett (conditioning) is available and will start at small forward in Saturday's Christmas Day matchup with the Hawks, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was considered a game-time decision, as the team was not sure if his conditioning was up to par. He was held out of the team's previous game due to that, but he is now good to go.Do not be surprised if the team eases him back into the swing of things, however head coach Tom Thibodeau is not known for exercising too much caution in terms of workload.
Dec 25, 2021
Game-time decision
Barrett (conditioning) will be a game-time decision for the Knicks on Christmas Day, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett is going to warm up with the team before they determine if he will be available or not. Evan Fournier, Quentin Grimes and Alec Burks would presumably be in line for bigger workloads should he ultimately be unable to go.
Dec 23, 2021
Out Thursday for conditioning
Barrett is out for Thursday's game against the Wizards due to weakened conditioning after exiting COVID-19 protocols, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Despite being listed as available earlier in the day, Barrett will ultimately need to improve his conditioning before taking the court. His next chance to do so is Saturday (Christmas) against the Hawks.
Dec 23, 2021
Listed as available
Barrett is listed as available for Thursday's game against the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Barrett cleared the league's health and safety protocols Thursday, but his status for the matchup against Washington was still in question. The 21-year-old could see a minutes restriction following his five-game absence, but it appears as though he'll be able to suit up for the Knicks.
Dec 23, 2021
Clears protocols, iffy for Thursday
Barrett rejoined the Knicks after clearing the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols, but his availability for Thursday's game against the Wizards remains uncertain, Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
While both Obi Toppin and Barrett have cleared the protocols in the last two days, it's unclear where either player stands in terms of conditioning coming out of their respective quarantines. Barrett missed the Knicks' last five games after being placed in the protocols, so even if he gains clearance to play Thursday, he could be eased back into the mix with a lighter minutes load than usual.
Dec 16, 2021
Won't play Thursday
Barrett (COVID-19 protocols) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss a third consecutive game due to the league's health and safety protocols. Derrick Rose will likely take on a starting role once again Thursday.
Dec 13, 2021
Out again Tuesday
Barrett (COVID-19 protocols) has been ruled out for Tuesday's contest against the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss his second straight game due to COVID-19 protocols. His absence will likely allow rookie Quentin Grimes to make his second consecutive start.

Placed in protocol, out Sunday
The Knicks announced Barrett won't be available for Sunday's game against the Bucks after entering the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
ANALYSIS
Barrett becomes the second Knicks player to enter the protocols in as many days, joining forward Obi Toppin. At this stage, the team hasn't indicated that either player has tested positive for the virus, so Barrett could be eligible to play Tuesday against the Warriors if he was deemed a close contact of an infected person and has been testing negative. Sunday's absence comes at an unfortunate time for Barrett, who had been in the midst of a productive four-game run in which he averaged 20.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.3 three-pointers and 1.8 assists in 32.3 minutes per contest.
Dec 9, 2021
Continues scoring
Barrett produced 19 points (5-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 6-7 FT), two rebounds and three assists over 35 minutes during Wednesday's 122-102 loss to the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett followed up Tuesday's career night (32 points, seven threes) with a solid scoring effort. However, he also failed to make a positive impact elsewhere in the box score and logged an ugly -25 in the plus-minus. It was a forgettable game for the Knicks collectively. Barrett will look to propel a win Friday against Toronto.
Dec 7, 2021
Catches fire from deep Tuesday
Barrett finished with 32 points (11-20 FG, 7-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, two assists and two steals in 39 minutes during Tuesday's 121-109 victory over San Antonio.
ANALYSIS
Barrett couldn't miss from deep, connecting on season-high seven triples in the victory. As advertised, Barrett has been wildly inconsistent thus far this season, making him a tough player to roster with any confidence. His role is basically assured at this point, so while his overall value is typically reliant on scoring, there is enough upside there for him to be a backend 12-team asset the rest of the way.
Dec 4, 2021
Cold from three in return
Barrett posted 13 points (5-13 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one block in 25 minutes in Saturday's 113-99 loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett recovered from his illness and put up a solid 13 points, though he was cold from beyond the arc. He shot just 29.2 percent from beyond the arc in November, so he'll look to correct that trend moving forward.
Dec 4, 2021
Slated to play Saturday
Coach Tom Thibodeau said that Barrett (illness) will play Saturday against the Nuggets, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was unavailable for Thursday's loss to the Bulls, but he was listed as probable ahead of Saturday's matchup. Prior to his absence, he had averaged 10.0 points and 7.2 rebounds in 26.2 minutes per game across his last five appearances.
Dec 3, 2021
Probable Saturday
Barrett (illness) is probable for Saturday's contest against the Nuggets, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The third-year pro missed Thursday night's contest due to an illness but appears on track to return Saturday. It has been a rough stretch for Barrett as he has averaged just 10.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game over his last 10 appearances. If the 21-year-old ultimately can't suit up Saturday, his next chance to return comes Tuesday against the Spurs.
Dec 2, 2021
Out Thursday
Barrett (illness) is out Thursday against the Bulls, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will miss his first game of the season Thursday. In his absence, more usage should be available for Derrick Rose, Evan Fournier and Immanuel Quickley.
Dec 1, 2021
Questionable vs. Chicago
Barrett (illness) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Barrett attempted to play through an illness Tuesday night, but he exited the game after just nine minutes. It's possible he'll come down to a game-time call again Thursday.
Nov 30, 2021
Exits due to illness
Barrett (illness) will not return to Tuesday's game against the Nets, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett attempted to play through his illness but couldn't make it through the contest. He should tentatively be considered questionable for Thursday's game against the Bulls.
Nov 30, 2021
Good to go Tuesday
Barrett (illness) is cleared to play Tuesday against the Nets, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Barrett will play through an illness. He's been struggling lately, however. Over his past 11 games, he's averaging 10.7 points on 31.6 percent shooting, 6.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 29.8 minutes.
Nov 30, 2021
Expected to play
Barrett (illness) is expected to play Tuesday against the Nets, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett will be a game-time call, but it would be surprising if he missed Tuesday's game. He's been struggling massively, however. Over the past 11 games, he's averaging 10.7 points on 31.6 percent shooting.
Nov 29, 2021
Added to injury report
Barrett (illness) is listed questionable for Tuesday's game against the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was not on the initial report, but the Knicks have since added him after he came down with a non-COVID illness. The hope is that he'll make some progress over the next 24-plus hours, but his status will be something to monitor as Tuesday's contest approaches. Over his last seven games, Barrett is shooting just 34.9 percent from the floor and 28.1 percent from three en route to 12.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 0.6 steals per game.
Nov 18, 2021
Bounces back but Knicks fall
Barrett produced 17 points (7-19 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds and five assists over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 104-98 loss to the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has been in the midst of a rough patch of late, as he was averaging just 8.8 points on 27.0 percent shooting over his last five games entering Wednesday. It was a nice bounceback for the third-year wing, though he did miss all seven of his three-point attempts. For the season, Barrett is now down to 31.8 percent from deep and 40.5 percent from the field. On any given night, Barrett can look like a future All-Star, but he continues to be woefully inconsistent on a game-to-game and week-to-week basis.
Nov 10, 2021
On short leash in loss
Barrett had nine points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), three rebounds, an assist and a steal across 21 minutes in a 112-100 loss to the Bucks on Wednesday night.
ANALYSIS
The combination of poor defense and inefficient offense ended Barrett's night prematurely, as Coach Tom Thibodeua opted for the second unit throughout the second half. Barrett came into Wednesday shooting 9-for-33 over his previous two contests. While the volume persists, Barrett will need to prove himself to avoid the doghouse. His next opportunity comes Friday against the Hornets.
Nov 9, 2021
Marred by inefficiency
Barrett finished with 15 points (6-20 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists, and a block over 34 minutes in a 103-96 win over the 76ers on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Barrett posted his first double-double of the season, led the Knicks in minutes played and controlled a sizable share of the offense. He remains amidst a major cold spell, however, with Wednesday against the Bucks representing Barrett's next chance to break out. His role in the offense remains secure.
Nov 7, 2021
Rough night in blowout loss
Barrett finished Sunday's loss to the Cavs with six points (3-13 FG, 0-6 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist.
ANALYSIS
Entering Sunday, Barrett had been in the midst of one of the best stretches of his career, averaging 25.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 3.2 made threes over the last five games. He came crashing back down to earth Sunday, missing all six of his three-point attempts and finishing as a minus-14 in 30 minutes of action. Barrett looks like an improved player in his third NBA season, but he's still prone to more off nights than fantasy managers would prefer.
Nov 6, 2021
Keeps impressive streak alive
Barrett notched 20 points (8-21 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and three assists across 39 minutes in Friday's win over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has now scored at least 20 points in five straight games, but he's also doing it at a very efficient pace -- so there's no question the former Duke standout is making his presence felt offensively for the Knicks. He's averaging 25.0 points while shooting 51.7 percent from the field and 50 percent from three-point range in that five-game span.
Nov 2, 2021
Carries Knicks offensively
Barrett finished with 27 points (9-13 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds and a steal across 39 minutes in Monday's loss to Toronto.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was only one of two Knicks that scored more than 20 points, though this shouldn't be surprising when it comes to the former Duke standout. Barrett has reached the 20-point plateau in three straight games after a slow start to the campaign and is looking more and more comfortable as one of the team's top scoring threats on a nightly basis.
Oct 31, 2021
Goes off for 35 in win
Barrett went for 35 points (12-18 FG, 6-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds and six assists in Saturday's win over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
It had been a tepid start to the season for Barrett, who was essentially a super-role-player on a deep Knicks roster, but this was easily his best performance to date. Barrett's 35 points were a career best, while his six three-pointers tied a career high. The No. 3 overall pick in 2019 was coming off of a 20-point effort against the Bulls on Thursday, so he's scored in double-figures in consecutive games for the first time since April 28 and May 2 of last season. Fantasy-wise, Barrett remains a high-upside option capable of posting valuable points, rebounds and assists totals, but he doesn't add much on defense, and his free throw percentage is a liability.
Oct 29, 2021
Strong showing
Barrett provided 20 points (8-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, an assist and a steal over 33 minutes in the Knicks' 104-103 win over the Bulls on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Barrett's major shooting percentages had been down across the board coming into Thursday, but he bounced back well. One exception withheld, Barrett has attempted double-digit shots in 26 straight games. This sets the stage for a solid fantasy floor, and it is important to remember that Barrett is still just 21 years old. His rest-of-season outlook possesses major upside.
Oct 26, 2021
Tallies 10 points, seven boards
Barrett had 10 points (4-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt), seven rebounds and one assist in 31 minutes during Tuesday's 112-99 win over the Sixers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett produced 19 points on only 11 shots during the season opener, but over the past three games he now has 29 points while shooting 34.3 percent from the field. The 21-year-old will attempt to get back on track Thursday against the Bulls.
Oct 24, 2021
Tough night in home loss to Magic
Barrett finished Sunday's loss to the Magic with 12 points (5-17 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five assists, four rebounds and one steal.
ANALYSIS
Barrett contributed to a putrid scoring night for the Knicks, who shot just 37 percent from the field as a team, while Barrett and Julius Randle combined to go 3-of-17 from three-point land. Through three games, Barrett is now 4-of-19 from beyond the arc and 6-of-10 at the free throw line. He closed last season shooting 40.1 percent from three (up from 32.0 percent as a rookie) and 74.6 percent at the line (up from 61.4 percent).
Oct 21, 2021
Performs in win
Barrett had 19 points (6-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, two assists, and two blocks in the Knicks' 138-134 double-overtime win over the Celtics on Wednesday night.
ANALYSIS
Barrett played a team-high 47 minutes. He looked poised, taking crunch time shots with defenders in his face. Barrett is still just 21-years-old, meaning improvement is nearly guaranteed. That has value in and of itself in fantasy. Dynasty owners can be bullish on Barrett and he has a good matchup awaiting him in Orlando on Friday.
Oct 5, 2021
Scores 17 in preseason opener
Barrett accumulated 17 points (7-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and one steal in 25 minutes during Tuesday's 125-104 preseason win over the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett's three-point shooting looked great, and he's coming off a season where he improved from 32.0 percent to 40.1 percent. Surprisingly, he didn't get to the free-throw line, but that should correct next game.
Jun 2, 2021
Struggles from field Wednesday
Barrett finished with 17 points (5-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and a block across 40 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Barrett didn't look like himself during the first-round series against the Hawks but at least surpassed the 15-point mark in the last two appearances. The former Duke standout averaged just 14.4 points per game while shooting 38.8 percent from the field during the playoffs -- in comparison, he scored 17.6 points per game while shooting 44.1 percent from the field during the regular season.
May 30, 2021
Drops 21 in Game 4 loss
Barrett finished Sunday's Game 4 against the Hawks with 21 points (8-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, four assists and two steals.
ANALYSIS
It was easily the best scoring game of the series for Barrett, who struggled to finish with just seven points in Game 3 on Friday night. Barrett and Julius Randle combined for 44 points, 16 boards, 11 assists and four steals Sunday, but it wasn't enough to prevent the Hawks, who hit 15 three-pointers, from taking a 3-1 advantage. The Knicks are off Monday and Tuesday before the series resumes from New York City on Wednesday night.
May 26, 2021
Scores 13 with eight boards
Barrett tallied 13 points (5-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 101-92 win over the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
The 20-year-old came up two rebounds shy of posting his second straight double-double. Over his first two career playoff games, Barrett is averaging 13.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 three-pointers on 37.9 percent field-goal shooting in that span. The second-year guard will look to keep up his solid production in points and rebounds on the road in Game 3 on Friday.
May 23, 2021
Scores 14 in playoff debut
Barrett had 14 points (6-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds and one assist in Sunday's Game 1 loss to the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
The Knicks leaned heavily on their bench for scoring Sunday, but Barrett turned in a respectable shooting line, despite hitting just one of his six three-point attempts. Barrett grabbed double-digit rebounds for the seventh time this season (first since April 24), though he handed out only one assist in 32 minutes of action.
May 14, 2021
Bounces back with 24 points
Barrett tallied 24 points (8-19 FG, 3-3 FT, 5-9 3Pt), nine rebounds, five assists and one steal in 41 minutes during Thursday's 102-98 win over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Barrett sank five of his nine three-point attempts Thursday against the Spurs, bouncing back from his 0-for-7 performance from deep against the Lakers on Tuesday. The lefty is shooting 44.2 percent over his last six games, but he is only shooting 33.3 percent from inside arc during that stretch, including 3-for-10 Thursday. Despite the inconsistent shooting, Barrett grabbed nine rebounds (most since April 24) and dished out five assists (most since May 2).
May 12, 2021
Woeful shooting performance
Barrett had eight points (2-13 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four rebounds, two assists and a steal across 38 minutes in Tuesday's overtime loss against the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has failed to reach the 20-point mark in four of his last five games, and he's been shooting the ball poorly in that stretch -- making just 33.3 percent of his field goal attempts over that five-game stretch. Barrett has shot 43.2 percent from the field since the beginning of April, however, so he's due for a bounce-back performance sooner than later.
May 9, 2021
Continues to struggle shooting
Barrett registered 18 points (7-18 FG, 4-7 3Pt), seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block across 45 minutes during Sunday's 106-100 win over the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
May has not been kind to Barrett as he's shooting 38.3 percent from the floor, though he's had much better luck from beyond the arc hitting 50.0 percent of his threes. Barrett has still managed to score 15 points or more in four of his five contests this month while grabbing an average of 6.4 boards and dishing out 3.2 assists over that span. Barrett has seen his production increase across the board in his second season sans steals.
May 8, 2021
Drops 23 with eight boards
Barrett had 23 points (8-22 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds and three assists in Friday's loss to Phoenix.
ANALYSIS
It wasn't the most efficient night for Barrett, but he's becoming increasingly comfortable from beyond the arc, where he's shooting 45.5 percent on 7.0 attempts per game over his last 11 starts. That's an incredibly encouraging sign for the second-year guard, who shot just 32.0 percent from deep a season ago. Barrett's free-throw percentage is also up to 74.5 percent, compared to his rookie-year figure of 61.4 percent.
May 3, 2021
Puts up 21 points in win
Barrett recorded 21 points (7-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and two steals across 40 minutes in Sunday's win over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has surpassed the 20-point mark in three of his last four games and has also scored more than 15 points in each of his eight contests, so his role as the Knicks' second-best scoring threat behind Julius Randle is quite safe. He's doing more than just putting up points on the board, though, as he's also averaging 6.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game during that aforementioned eight-game span.
Apr 29, 2021
Scores 22 in 42 minutes
Barrett had 22 points (9-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block in Wednesday's win over the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Barrett and Julius Randle (34 points) led the way for the Knicks, combining for 56 points, 14 rebounds, nine assists and two blocks in the 113-94 victory. Barrett has now scored at least 20 points in four of the last seven games, and he's drained 17 of his last 40 attempts from three over the last five games.
Apr 24, 2021
Posts fifth double-double
Barrett recorded 25 points (8-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 12 rebounds and four assists in 38 minutes during Saturday's win over the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
The 20-year-old been on a roll over his last five games, averaging 21.4 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.5 three-pointers while shooting 45.2 percent from the field in that span. Barrett is shooting a much improved 44.6 percent from this field this season compared to just 40.2 percent in his rookie year. The second-year guard will look to help the Knicks win their 10th game in a row on Monday against the Suns.
Apr 20, 2021
Hits six triples
Barrett registered 24 points (8-17 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and one block in 39 minutes during Tuesday's win over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
The 20-year-old has been on a rolling since Wednesday's six-point dud, averaging 22.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.7 three-pointers over his last three games. Barrett now has scored 20-plus points in 27 out of 59 games this season. The second-year guard will look to keep it going Wednesday at home against the Hawks.
Apr 18, 2021
Scores 18 with six turnovers
Barrett posted 18 points (7-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and six turnovers in Sunday's overtime win over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Barrett provided a nice scoring punch for the Knicks before fouling out in 36 minutes, but he didn't add much in terms of counting stats. Barrett snapped a five-game streak of posting at least one steal, and his six turnovers were his most in any game this season. Prior to Sunday, Barrett had committed just four total turnovers over his last five games.
Apr 17, 2021
Posts 24 points in win
Barrett totaled 24 points (9-18 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-5 FT), eight rebounds and two assists across 46 minutes in a 117-109 victory over the Mavericks on Friday.
ANALYSIS
Julius Randle stole the show with his 44-point effort, but Barrett played an effective sidekick to lead New York to its 30th win of the campaign. The 20-year-old logged a season-high 46 minutes and hit half of his field-goal attempts after going just 4-for-21 over his previous two games. Barrett has improved in nearly every statistical category in his second season, posting per-game averages of 17.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.4 three-pointers.
Apr 12, 2021
Cools off in win
Barrett registered seven points (2-11 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in 33 minutes during Monday's win over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
The 20-year-old's seven-point performance was his lowest scoring output since Feb. 23. Before Monday's game, Barrett was averaging 20.8 points, 3.2 three-pointers, 3.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.0 steals over his past five games. He'll look to get back on track Wednesday on the road against the Pelicans.
Apr 12, 2021
Scores 19 points against Toronto
Barrett mustered 19 points (7-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five assists, two steals and a rebound across 33 minutes in Sunday's win over the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Barrett delivered a strong shooting performance and looked sharp from three-point range once again. The former Duke standout has drained two or more threes in four games in a row and has hit 15 of his last 22 shots from beyond the arc. He has also registered multiple threes in six of his last seven contests.
Apr 10, 2021
Pours 20 points over Grizzlies
Barrett supplied 20 points (7-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, two assists and a steal across 34 minutes in Friday's overtime win over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has been on quite a scoring run of late, reaching the 20-point mark in three straight games and accomplishing that feat in seven of his last 10 contests. The second-year guard out of Duke has taken a massive leap this season and has established himself as the Knicks' second-best offensive threat behind Julius Randle -- he's averaging 19.0 points per game while shooting 45 percent from the field and 48 percent from three-point range during that aforementioned 10-game stretch.
Apr 8, 2021
Scores team-high 29 points
Barrett delivered 29 points (10-14 FG, 6-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and two assists across 36 minutes in Wednesday's loss against the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Barrett carried the Knicks offensively in this game and delivered one of his best shooting performances of the season, missing just four shots from the field and going 6-for-6 from behind the arc. Barrett has now scored at least 20 points in three of his last five games and has also drained two or more treys in four of his last five contests. He contributes with rebounds on a regular basis and can chip in with assists from time to time as well, but Barrett's main source of value comes from what he can do scoring the rock.
Apr 5, 2021
Enjoys strong shooting night
Barrett scored 22 points (7-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go along with four rebounds across 33 minutes in Monday's loss to the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Barrett topped 20 points for the second time in his last five games on the strength of four threes and otherwise efficient shooting. The rest of his line was fairly empty, as he contributed no defensive stats or assists for the second time in his last three contests. Even so, Barrett should continue to see a heavy workload in terms of both minutes and usage down the stretch.
Apr 3, 2021
Cleared to play
Barrett (ankle) will play Saturday against the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Barrett will see the court despite an ankle injury. Over the past five games, he's averaged 16.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 36.8 minutes.
Apr 3, 2021
LIkely to play Saturday
Barrett (ankle) is listed as probable for Saturday's game against the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Barrett played through a sprained right ankle in Friday's game against the Mavericks and there was no word on any type of setback. Judging by his probable designation, he is seemingly on track to suit up again Saturday, but final confirmation on his status will depend on how he is feeling closer tip-off.
Apr 2, 2021
Cleared to play
Barrett (ankle) will play Friday against the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Despite a sprained right ankle, Barrett will see the court. He hasn't missed a game this season. Since the start of March, he's averaged 20.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 36.4 minutes.
Apr 1, 2021
Questionable Friday
Barrett is questionable for Friday's game against the Mavericks due to a right ankle sprain.
ANALYSIS
Barrett recorded 23 points across 41 minutes in Wednesday's loss to Minnesota, but he apparently sustained an ankle injury during the game. If he's held out Friday, Alec Burks and Kevin Knox could see increased run for the Knicks.
Mar 31, 2021
Drains three treys Wednesday
Barrett delivered 23 points (8-17 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), three rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block across 41 minutes in Wednesday's loss against the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Barrett made three of his four three-point attempts and while he's never been much of a shooting threat from deep, it's worth noting he has made two or more treys in three of his last four contests. Barrett had a game to forget the last time out, scoring eight points while shooting 4-for-12 from the field, but he has still scored at least 20 points in four of his last five outings.
Mar 29, 2021
Off night in loss
Barrett finished with eight points (4-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds and four assists in Monday's loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Barrett had been playing well over the last several games, but this was one to forget for the second-year guard. Barrett missed all four of his three-point attempts and posted meager complementary numbers, while failing to record a steal or block for the just the second time in his last nine appearances.
Mar 27, 2021
Well-rounded line in victory
Barrett submitted 21 points (8-22 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists and a steal across 38 minutes in Saturday's win over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Barrett co-led the Knicks in scoring alongside Alec Burks, but he also paced the team in assists while ending as the fourth-best rebounder. Barrett has been struggling from the field in recent weeks and needed 22 shots to deliver 21 points in this one, but that won't matter much if he continues to scoring at a strong clip while also posting decent numbers in other categories. He is doing enough to make up for his lack of accuracy from the field.
Mar 25, 2021
Scores 24 on 22 shots
Barrett registered 24 points (7-22 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 8-11 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists and three steals in 41 minutes during Thursday's 106-102 win over the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
The 20-year-old only shot 32 percent from the field but provided fantasy managers with plenty of other goodies across the board to make up for it. Barrett matched season highs in assists and steals with five and three, respectively. He's looking at 35-40 minutes a game the rest of the way with the Knicks sitting as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference.
Mar 23, 2021
Puts up 21 points in win
Barrett had 21 points (8-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two blocks across 39 minutes in Tuesday's win over the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was coming off three straight games where he couldn't reach the 20-point mark, but he bounced back here and posted his 19th game of the season with at least 20 points. The former Duke star has settled himself as the Knicks' second-best offensive threat behind Julius Randle, and he has scored in double digits in 12 games in a row, giving a decent scoring floor even if he doesn't really stand out in any other categories. He is averaging 21.1 points per game during that 12-game span.

Goes for 19-8-4 in loss
Barrett had 19 points (9-17 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and one steal in Sunday's loss to the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett scored under 20 points for the third straight game and once again struggled from beyond the arc. On the whole, though, the second-year guard has demonstrated tangible improvement as a scorer this season. While he still has his off nights, Barrett is up to 17.2 points per game with a 45-35-73 shooting line. As a rookie, Barrett shot just 40.2 percent from the field and 61.4 percent at the line.
Mar 17, 2021
Grabs eight boards in loss
Barrett scored 17 points (7-17 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-7 FT) with eight rebounds, four assists and one steal in a 99-96 loss to the 76ers on Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was able to finish with a solid line in a game that the Knicks got outscored 26-14 in the fourth quarter. Coming off a game where he made all 10 of his free throws, Barrett struggled from the line Tuesday, making only 42.9 percent of his attempts. The guard's streak of four consecutive games of scoring at least 21 points also came to an end. Barrett will continue to provide fantasy managers with solid all-around stats due to volume and consistent playing time.
Mar 15, 2021
Drops 23 points Monday
Barrett recorded 23 points (6-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 10-10 FT), six rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block during Monday's loss to Brooklyn.
ANALYSIS
Coming off a career-high 32-point outing Saturday against the Thunder, Barrett stayed hot and dropped at least 20 points for a fourth straight matchup in Monday's defeat. Since posting just four points against the Warriors on Feb. 23, Barrett has stepped things up offensively and is averaging 21.3 points over his past eight games played.
Mar 13, 2021
Scores career-high 32 points
Barrett registered 32 points (12-21 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-7 FT), five rebounds, three assists and three steals in 36 minutes during Saturday's win over Oklahoma City.
ANALYSIS
The 20-year-old had the best game of his young career, scoring 30-plus points for the first time while contributing across the board. The young guard has had an up-and-down season, but he's been a consistent scorer, averaging 16.7 points on 45 percent shooting through 38 games. Barrett's across-the-board production will be inconsistent, but he's locked into heavy minutes moving forward and should provide plenty of points along with low-end three-pointers, rebounds and steals.
Mar 12, 2021
Puts up 22 points
Barrett tallied 22 points (9-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and two assists Thursday in a 134-101 loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Barrett's 22 points were the consolation tally for a Knicks team that failed to get going at Milwaukee. He has been quite excellent across their past five games, averaging 20.6 points on an impressive 58.2 field-goal percentage. Barrett isn't expected to maintain that level of production but is showing more stability at this point in his sophomore campaign.
Mar 1, 2021
Scores 21 in victory
Barrett had 21 points (8-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in Sunday's win over Detroit.
ANALYSIS
The Knicks picked up their third straight win, and Barrett has now logged 20-plus points in back-to-back games for the first time since late January. Over his last seven games, Barrett is averaging 16.9 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists, while shooting 60.9 percent from three (14-of-23).
Feb 28, 2021
Registers 24 points Saturday
Barrett recorded 24 points (8-17 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 4-7 FT), seven rebounds and two assists Saturday in a 110-107 win versus Indiana.
ANALYSIS
Half of Barrett's 24 points were attributed to three-pointers, the four he made tying his season best. Barrett has scored at least 25 in four other games this season but logged his scoring high for the month on Saturday. Barrett is averaging 13.6 points across 13 February games, with one left at Detroit on Sunday.
Feb 26, 2021
Scores 12 in victory
Barrett collected 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt), three rebounds and three assists in the Knicks' 140-121 victory over the Kings on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was able to bounce back after making just 1-of-9 shots Tuesday. He was also able to make multiple threes for only the third time this month. Barrett continues to provide fantasy managers with solid scoring and a handful of rebounds and assists each game. Elfrid Payton (hamstring) missed the game Thursday, and if he is to miss more time, Barrett could play the role of facilitator more in the Knicks' offense.
Feb 24, 2021
Grabs 10 boards in loss
Barrett scored four points (1-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and added 10 rebounds and one assist in the Knicks' 114-106 loss to the Warriors on Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
While it was a tough night shooting for Barrett as he made just one shot, he was able to secure double-digit rebounds for only the fourth time this season. He also had to deal with some foul trouble and fouled out of the game late in the fourth. In his second-year in the league, he is averaging more points, rebounds and assists then he did in his rookie season while also shooting a higher percentage from the field.
Feb 21, 2021
Efficient night of shooting in win
Barrett posted 21 points (10-20 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds, an assist, a steal and a blocked shot across 34 minutes in Sunday's 103-99 win over the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Although the Knicks blew a 21-point lead, they managed to squeak out the win on Sunday. Barrett created shots out in space and left most of the ball movement to Elfrid Payton. After two tepid outings against the Rockets and the Wizards, Barrett's bounced back with a trio of decent stat lines.
Feb 17, 2021
Contributes 15 points, seven boards
Barrett dropped 15 points (5-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block over 27 minutes Wednesday during the loss to the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Barrett, Julius Randle, and Elfrid Payton were the only Knicks players to score in double figures in the blowout loss. Barrett is averaging 18.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 52.0 percent from the floor in his last two outings after stringing together four straight subpar performances.
Feb 16, 2021
Saturday's game postponed
Barrett and the Knicks will not play Saturday against the Spurs after the game was postponed, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Wednesday's game at Orlando is on as scheduled, but the Spurs are dealing with multiple COVID-19 positives, so the league has nixed all of their remaining games for the week.
Feb 15, 2021
Surpasses 20-point mark once again
Barrett delivered 21 points (8-14 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and a steal across 33 minutes in Monday's win over the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Barrett scored 20 or more points for the 11th time this season, and the second-year guard bounced back in a big way here -- he was coming off four straight appearances with 13 or fewer points, including three single-digit scoring outputs in that span. Barrett is not likely to score 20-plus points on a nightly basis, but he's certainly better than the player who was averaging 11.4 points per game while shooting 39.1 percent from the field before this contest.
Feb 14, 2021
Minutes falling
Barrett recorded seven points (2-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five assists and four rebounds in 22 minutes Saturday in the Knicks' 121-99 win over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
The blowout factored into playing time being suppressed for some of the Knicks' starters, but in Barrett's case, it was the continuance of a trend. He's now played fewer than 30 minutes in four consecutive games after previously clearing the 30-minute mark in each of the preceding six contests. Barrett hasn't made a strong case to see his playing time pick up, as he's struggled over this most recent four-game stretch with averages of 7.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists on 26.8 percent shooting from the field. The second-year wing should show improved form sooner than later, but if his minutes don't pick up, he could be a justifiable cut in 12-team rotisserie leagues.
Feb 7, 2021
Struggles mightily in Sunday's loss
Barrett managed just three points (1-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds and one steal in 19 minutes during Sunday's 109-103 loss to Miami.
ANALYSIS
Barrett had what was his worst game in quite some time, barely bothering the statisticians in what can only be described as a dud performance. He has been a much-improved player this season and so he needs to be given a pass on this one. The Knicks will travel to Miami to face the Heat once again on Tuesday, so look for Barrett to try and make up for this effort.
Feb 6, 2021
Hits averages in win
Barrett had 18 points (8-14 FG, 2-2 3Pt), seven rebounds and three assists during Saturday's 110-99 win over Portland.
ANALYSIS
The 20-year-old came into Saturday's contest averaging 17.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists this season, and he hit those marks during the victory. Barrett should take his usual place in the starting lineup in the second half of the back-to-back set Sunday versus Miami.
Feb 4, 2021
Scores 17 in victory
Barrett recorded 17 points (8-16 FG, 0-1 3PT, 1-3 FT to go along with seven rebounds and two assists across 32 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Barrett used a strong second quarter in which he made all four shots from the field to account for a large portion of his production. He rebounded from a poor shooting night in his last game, though his struggles from the free-throw line reemerged. Barrett has taken a significant step forward in that area -- he's shooting 74.5 percent this season as compared 61.4 percent in his rookie season -- so there should be some optimism he'll return to form in future contests.
Feb 2, 2021
Shooting struggles return
Barrett scored 14 points (7-17 FG, 0-3 3PT) to go along with seven rebounds and three assists across 30 minutes in Monday's loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Barrett entered the game having shot 51.4 percent from the field across his last 10 games. However, his shooting woes from early in the season reappeared in this performance -- though he still managed to be only one of two Knicks' starters to reach double-digit scoring. This effort was a small step back in what has otherwise been a positive second professional campaign for Barrett, highlighted by over a three percent increase in true shooting percentage.
Jan 31, 2021
Scores 23 points in loss
Barrett scored 23 points (9-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-6 FT) to go with two rebounds, two assists and two steals across 31 minutes in a 123-115 loss to the Clippers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Barrett scored 14 points in the first half with an impressive 6-of-7 performance from the field. The sophomore has scored in double digits in all but three games this season, and with an increased role on a young team, has improved his fantasy scoring by nearly eight fantasy points per game. Barrett has provided great value this season as he's improved his field goal percentage from last year on more than two additional field-goal attempts per game.
Jan 29, 2021
Surpasses 20-point mark once again
Barrett registered 24 points (8-19 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-7 FT), four rebounds, two assists and two steals across 40 minutes in Friday's win over the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was coming off back-to-back games where he couldn't reach the 20-point mark, but he has reached that tally in nine of his 20 contests this season -- that's a marked increase from his rookie year where he accomplished that feat in just 13 contests across 56 appearances. Barrett should remain as New York's second-best scoring option behind Julius Randle, and he should provide decent value across most formats due to his scoring ability.
Jan 27, 2021
Bestows 17 points at Utah
Barrett had 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 0-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal in Tuesday's 108-94 loss to the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Barrett put up a better performance than his eight-point night Sunday (at Portland) by more than doubling his scoring tally Tuesday. He started this current road trip by logging his scoring high during a win at Golden State (on Jan. 21) before the Knicks lost thrice in succession. Barrett averaged 15.3 points while shooting 51.4 percent from the field across those three losses.
Jan 23, 2021
Solid effort in loss to Kings
Barrett posted 21 points (8-17 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds and three assists across 36 minutes in a loss to Sacramento on Friday.
ANALYSIS
The former Duke Blue Devil continues to grow in his second NBA campaign, as he has now broken the 20-point mark in five of his last six contests. Over that span, Barrett is averaging 21.7 points and 6.5 rebounds while converting 50.5 percent of his field-goal attempts and going 9-for-20 from deep (45.0 percent).
Jan 22, 2021
Pours in career-high 28 points
Barrett totaled 28 points (10-17 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-8 FT) and five assists in a win over the Warriors on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has improved his consistency as a scorer of late, notching at least 19 points in each of his last five games. He has also drilled two three-pointers in three of his past four games, going 6-for-14 from beyond the arc over that span. The Knicks are back to .500 on the season and riding a three-game winning streak, with Barrett playing a major role in the resurgence.
Jan 18, 2021
Remains sharp from free-throw line
Barrett compiled a team-high 22 points (9-19 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go with 10 boards, four assists and one block across 38 minutes in Monday's 91-84 win over the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Barrett's efficiency from the field and three-point range has remained an issue in his second NBA season, but the 20-year-old has made some notable strides at the charity stripe. Over his last four games, Barrett has gone 20-for-22 (90.9 percent) from the line, lifting his season-long rate to 75.3 percent. While that's still a below-average mark for a guard, it still represents a 14-point increase from his rookie season.
Jan 13, 2021
Goes for 20 points
Barrett scored 20 points (7-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT) while adding five rebounds and three assists across 38 minutes in Wednesday's 116-109 loss to the Nets.
ANALYSIS
After posting 20 points over his last two games combined, he was able to get back on track Wednesday in the loss. His 20-point performance was the first time the Duke product hit the plateau since January 4, spanning four games.
Jan 12, 2021
Shooting woes continue
Barrett finished with 11 points (5-18 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds and five assists in 35 minutes Monday in the Knicks' 109-88 loss to the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Since going 11-for-15 from the field while knocking down all three of his attempts from distance in the Knicks' season-opening loss to the Pacers, Barrett has reverted to the poor shooting that marred his rookie campaign. Over the Knicks' subsequent 10 games, Barrett has converted at a 33.1 percent clip from the field, while knocking down a lowly 69.4 percent of his free throws on 4.9 attempts per contest. Barrett's efficiency should improve to some degree, but probably not enough for him not to be a major liability in both of the percentage categories.
Jan 8, 2021
Scores team-high 19 points
Barrett logged 19 points (7-21 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-7 FT), seven rebounds, two assists a steal and a blocked shot across 44 minutes in Friday's 101-89 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Barrett's solid play is one reason why the Knicks are off to a great start, but the team couldn't get the offense going against the Thunder. Last season's first-round pick is a usage beast for the Knicks, averaging more minutes than any other player on the team. There's a bit of variance in his scoring numbers, but his contribution in ancillary categories helps out his fantasy totals.
Jan 4, 2021
Big double-double performance
Barrett scored 26 points (10-19 FG, 1-5 3PT, 5-7 FT) to go along with 11 rebounds, five assists and two steals across 44 minutes in Monday's win over the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Barrett's relatively strong counting stats early in the offseason were offset by his horrible shooting from the field. However, he's turned things around recently and has now made 18 of his 34 shots from the field across his last two contests. Barrett also notched the second double-double of his career, racking up a new single-game high with 11 boards. Barrett is getting every opportunity to prove he can breakout in his second season, as he's topped 35 minutes in each of his last six games.
Jan 2, 2021
Leads way with 25 points
Barrett totaled 25 points (8-15 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds and three assists in Saturday's victory versus Indiana.
ANALYSIS
Barrett bounced back from a rough 4-for-19 shooting effort his last time out, posting his highest point total and best shooting percentage since New York's opening game. He also snapped an 0-for-21 cold spell from beyond the arc with a superb 4-for-5 effort from deep. Despite some early-season shooting struggles, Barrett has scored in double figures in each of the Knicks' six games this season.
Jan 1, 2021
Shooting woes continue
Barrett posted 12 points (4-19 FG, 0-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and a steal across 37 minutes in Thursday's loss against the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has scored in double digits in every one of his five appearances this season, but he has surpassed the 15-point mark just once since beginning the season with a 26-point effort. What's even more worrisome is the fact Barrett has struggled massively from the field, as he is shooting just 25.8 percent from the field and 5.3 percent from three-point range across his last four contests.
Dec 28, 2020
Bounces back versus Bucks
Barrett finished with 17 points (7-17 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and one steal in 38 minutes Sunday in the Knicks' 130-110 win over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
After going 11-for-15 from the field in the Knicks' season-opening loss to the Pacers, Barrett regressed hard in Saturday's loss to the 76ers, hitting two of his 15 shot attempts on the night. He landed somewhere in between the two extremes Sunday, producing the sort of stat line that is probably going to be more replicable on a regular basis. Barrett remains likely to have far more value in points leagues than rotisserie formats by season's end, but his percentages should at least be marginally less toxic as he gains more confidence in his shot in his second NBA season.
Dec 27, 2020
Ice cold in home opener
Barrett logged 10 points (2-15 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 6-8 FT), six rebounds and four assists during Saturday's loss versus Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
Barrett had scored his first eight field goals against the Pacers on Wednesday. He went completely backward Saturday, missing nine shots before even making one. It is a testament to the inconsistency Barrett had over his rookie campaign, and he will need to limit that for some better fantasy value this season.
Dec 24, 2020
Leads Knicks in loss
Barrett finished with 26 points (11-15 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight boards, and five assists in 34 minutes of a 121-107 loss to the Pacers on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Barrett lead his team in scoring and finished second in assists in his team's loss. Across the board, the standout second-year man looked like he was ready to step into the role of team leader. The road to start the season won't get much easier with a tilt against the 76ers up next on Saturday.
Dec 17, 2020
Leads team in minutes
Barrett scored 16 points (6-12 FG, 1-4 3PT, 3-3 FT), had six rebounds, and two assists during 33 minutes of Wednesday's 100-93 preseason win over the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett played a significant role on Wednesday, pacing the Knicks with 33 minutes in the game. The guard finished with the second highest point and rebound totals on the team and should be given every opportunity to build on an average rookie campaign as one of the Knicks nailed on starters this season.
Dec 14, 2020
Game-high 25 points in loss
Barrett scored 25 points (10-17 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 36 minutes of Sunday's 99-91 preseason loss to the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Barrett led all scorers on the evening, but he also paced everyone in minutes and shots. While the 20-year-old has totaled 40 points in two preseason matchups so far, he has yet to get his stroke going from beyond the arc, as he's made just one of his nine attempts from long distance.
Dec 11, 2020
Scores team-high 15
Barrett provided 15 points (7-16 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT, along with five rebounds and two assists in 29 minutes Friday, as the Knicks beat the Pistons 90-84.
ANALYSIS
Barrett matched Julius Randle with a game-high 29 minutes played. Barrett needed 16 shots to accumulate his 15 points, but those figures fall right in line with the 40.3 percent shooting he registered as a rookie. As a rookie, Barrett averaged 14.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 30.4 minutes per game.
Mar 10, 2020
Scores 16, swipes four
Barrett collected 16 points (5-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT), six rebounds, four steals and one assist in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 122-115 loss to the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Barrett recorded at least one steal for the fifth straight game to begin the month of March. Moreover, he has scored in double figures in seven straight matchups. Barrett's efficiency leaves plenty to be desired, but he's likely to provide quality counting stats down the stretch this season.
Mar 9, 2020
Supplies 12 points in win
Barrett produced 12 points (5-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists and a steal across 26 minutes in Sunday's 96-84 win over Detroit.
ANALYSIS
Although Barrett has been less consistent since his nine-game absence, he's still putting together respectable stat lines. He's averaging 14.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists over the past 13 games, which is about what he was producing before being sidelined. The Duke product is one of the best players out of the 2019 draft class but needs to improve his 39.3 field-goal percentage if he wants to take his game to the next level.
Mar 7, 2020
Goes for 17 in loss
Barrett had 17 points (5-12 FG, 1-3 3PT, 6-6 FT), four rebounds and three assists in Friday's loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Barrett struggled from the field and committed four turnovers, but he's still averaging 18.4 points on 52.3 percent shooting over his last five games. The rookie has hit his last nine free throw attempts, which has helped pull his season-long conversation rate up to 60.8 percent.
Mar 3, 2020
Ties season-high scoring output
Barrett went for 27 points (10-18 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 4-7 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Monday's 125-123 win over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
This was Barrett's best game since returning from a nine-game absence between January and February, as he tied his season-high mark for points while looking very efficient from the field. The Duke product has also scored in double digits in six of his last seven games, averaging 17.1 points on 45.2 percent shooting during that stretch.
Feb 27, 2020
Scores 15 in loss to 76ers
Barrett contributed 15 points (6-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and five assists in 35 minutes during Thursday's loss to the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
While Barrett is putting up decent counting stats of 13.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 0.9 steals per game on the season, his fantasy rank is still miles away from standard-league territory because of his poor shooting (38.9 percent from the field, and 60.4 percent from the line) and turnovers. The 19-year old is seeing a 25.2 usage rate this season, and could potentially have the ball in his hands even more down the stretch. Hopefully head coach Mike Miller allows his rookie to show off his playmaking skills a bit more.
Feb 25, 2020
Scores 21 despite shooting woes
Barrett notched 21 points (8-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-7 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 34 minutes during Monday's 123-112 loss at Houston.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has been on the rise of late and has topped himself -- from a scoring point of view -- in each of his last five games while topping the 15-point plateau in each of his last three outings. The rookie out of Duke missed nine games between January and early February, but he is averaging 12.4 points in the five games he's played as a starter since then. He is expected to remain in that role moving forward.
Feb 22, 2020
Goes for 17 points
Barrett registered 17 points (8-19 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-3 FT), four rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes during Friday's 106-98 loss against the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Barrett missed nine games between January and February and moved back to the starting lineup four contests ago, but he is averaging just 10.3 points per game -- while shooting 32.7 percent from the field -- in those four starts. That said, Barrett is coming off 16-point and 17-point performances against the Wizards and the Pacers, so he seems to be on the rise of late.
Feb 14, 2020
Drops game-high 27 points
Barrett tallied 27 points (11-17 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, five assists and three steals in 24 minutes during Friday's Team World loss to Team USA in the Rising Stars Challenge.
ANALYSIS
Barrett may have put up his best line of the season in the loss, demonstrating where he currently sits in terms of overall fantasy value. He is currently the 334th ranked player in nine-category formats despite playing more than 30 minutes a night. He offers very little outside of scoring and his percentages are a real concern. The Knicks have absolutely nothing to play for and so it makes sense that Barrett should continue to see big minutes moving forward. He is fine to have on your roster if you can deal with the inefficiencies and simply need a boost in points.
Feb 13, 2020
Needs 16 shots for 16 points
Barrett posted 16 points (5-16 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT) and five rebounds across 29 minutes Wednesday in the Knicks' 114-96 loss to the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
This was the best of Barrett's four outings since he returned to action earlier this month following a nine-game absence due to a sprained ankle, but that's mostly a testament to how poorly he performed in the prior three contests. A 61.1 percent free-throw shooter for the season, Barrett needed an uncharacteristically strong showing from the line to make up for his typically inefficient shooting from the field. The rookie doesn't look like a must-roster player in most 12-team leagues at this time, though he's far more valuable in points formats, where his wretched percentages won't hurt him.
Feb 8, 2020
Returns to starting five
Barrett will start Saturday's game against the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
In his second game back from injury, Barrett returns to the starting five. Since the new year, he's averaged 15.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 28.8 minutes.
Feb 8, 2020
Good chance to start Saturday
Barrett has a good chance at starting Saturday's game against Detroit, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett looks set to take on his usual starting role after scoring 12 points in 18 minutes in his return from a nine-game absence due to an ankle injury. He'll presumably take over for Frank Ntilikina, with Reggie Bullock likely staying on as the first-unit small forward.
Feb 7, 2020
Impresses in return from injury
Barrett (ankle) notched 12 points (3-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-9 FT), three rebounds and three assists in 18 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 105-103 win over the Magic.
ANALYSIS
The Duke product returned after a nine-game absence and while he came off the bench here, he shouldn't waste time to recover his starting role alongside Elfrid Payton in the backcourt. He averaged 15.6 points per game in his last five starts prior to the injury.
Feb 6, 2020
Officially available
Barrett (ankle) will be available for Thursday's game against Orlando.
ANALYSIS
As expected, the rookie will make his return to the floor for the first time in several weeks, but he'll come off the bench and could face a minutes limitation.
Feb 6, 2020
Expected to play
Barrett (ankle) is expected to play Thursday against the Magic, Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett hasn't played since mid-January due to a sprained right ankle, but the plan is for him to get some minutes Thursday after successfully returning to practice earlier in the week. It's not yet known whether Barrett will start or how many minutes he will play.

Returns to practice
Barrett (ankle) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Marc Berman of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett hasn't played since mid-January -- a span of nine games -- due to a sprained right ankle, but it sounds like he could return Thursday against Orlando. The Knicks will likely wait and see how the rookie feels during morning shootaround before updating his status.

Could be available Thursday
Barrett (ankle), who is listed as out for Monday's game against the Cavaliers, said that he "hopes" to resuming practicing Tuesday before possibly playing Thursday against the Magic, Marc Berman of the New York Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett's sprained right ankle will sideline him for a ninth straight game Monday, but the rookie is optimistic he'll soon move past the injury and head into All-Star weekend healthy in mid-February, when he's scheduled to participate in the annual NBA Rising Stars exhibition. The injury came at a tough time for Barrett, who had just been starting to show improved efficiency with his shooting. Over his final six games before getting hurt, Barrett converted 44.3 percent of his field goals, 42.9 percent of his three-point attempts and 75.6 percent of his free-throw tries, all of which were well ahead of his season-long shooting splits (39.3/32.9/60.3 percent, respectively).

Will be re-evaluated in one week
Barrett (ankle) has transitioned from crutches to a walking boot and will be re-evaluated in one week.
ANALYSIS
While Barrett's making progress in his return from a severe right ankle sprain, he'll be held out for at least another week. If he's cleared during his re-evaluation, Barrett will need to go through a series of tests in practice prior to being allowed to return to game action. Look for the team to provide a more defined timeline once Barret's evaluated again.

Re-evaluation on tap
Barrett (ankle) is expected to "be evaluated soon," Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
ANALYSIS
Barrett has already missed over a week due to a right ankle sprain, though it sounds as though the Knicks may evaluate the rookie within the next few days. An updated timetable for his return should come following the evaluation.

Out at least a week
Barrett was diagnosed with a right ankle sprain Friday after X-rays came back negative and will be reevaluated in one week.
ANALYSIS
The rookie first-round pick sustained the injury during Thursday's loss to the Suns and originally attempted to remain in the game before being ruled out. Overall it's good news for Barrett, but he'll still end up missing at least the next three games. Damyean Dotson ended up playing 26 minutes in his absence Thursday and is likely in line for an increased role.

Won't return following injury
Barrett won't return to Thursday's game against the Suns after suffering a sprained right ankle.
ANALYSIS
Barrett stayed into the contest initially after tweaking his ankle, but after undergoing further tests in the locker room, the team has shut him down for the night. His status for Saturday's game against the 76ers is up in the air at this point.

Sniffs double-double
Barrett had 22 points (6-15 FG, 5-7 3PT, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 32 minutes during Tuesday's 128-102 loss at Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
The Duke product has scored in double digits in seven straight contests, and he is averaging 17.7 points while shooting 44.4 percent from the field during that span -- that sits above his season-mark of 39.5 percent. He has shown flashes of being an efficient scorer and while his shooting percentages remain heavily inconsistent, he is doing enough to remain fantasy relevant regardless of the format.

Scores 23 to go with complete line
Barrett chipped in 23 points (7-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 8-10 FT), five rebounds, three assists and two steals in 40 minutes during Sunday's 124-121 win over the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Barrett was extremely efficient offensively, finishing with over twice as many points as field goal attempts while committing zero turnovers. He has scored at least 20 nine times through 39 appearances and continues to be a solid source of counting stats, albeit with subpar efficiency on most nights.

Just misses double-double Friday
Barrett scored 16 points (5-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-8 FT) while adding nine rebounds, two assists and two steals in 33 minutes during Friday's 123-111 loss to the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
The rookie has scored in double digits in five straight games, his longest such streak so far, and Barrett fell one board shy of his third double-double. The 19-year-old remains an inconsistent contributor in other categories, but he's starting to become a reliable asset on offense for the Knicks despite the muddled and underpowered roster around him.
