Hauser continues to be a key contributor for Boston's second unit, and it helps his case that the Celtics use such a tight rotation most nights. Hauser has scored in double digits eight times out of 10 games in November, averaging 11.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.5 three-pointers.

Hauser racked up 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists and one steal in 23 minutes during Friday's 108-105 win over the Raptors.

Hauser has been making a case for more minutes due to his excellent floor spacing, making multiple threes in four of his last five outings and scoring in double digits four times in that span as well.

Hauser finished Wednesday's 155-104 win over the Pacers with 17 points (5-7 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and one steal in 19 minutes off the bench.

The Celtics' 155 points were the most in franchise history since the 1958-59 season, when a roster led by future Hall of Famers Bob Cousy and Bill Russell poured in 173 against the Minneapolis Lakers. Eight different Boston players scored in double digits Wednesday, including all five starters, but it was Hauser who led the second unit as benches got emptied in the fourth quarter. The third-year wing showed last season he can be a reliable three-point threat, but as yet he hasn't gotten many opportunities to fill another role for the team.

With Brown expected to sit again in Boston's final regular season contest, Hauser is likely to see big minutes for at least one more game.

Hauser logged 12 points (4-5 FG, 4-5 3Pt) and two rebounds over 21 minutes during Saturday's 134-125 win over the Hawks.

Hauser did his thing Saturday, going 4-of-5 from the perimeter en route to 12 points. As usual, he did very little else, relying solely on his three-point shooting to buoy his value. Interestingly, Hauser was ahead of Grant Williams in the rotation, something that warrants some attention moving forward. If this is something that sticks moving forward, Hauser could be worth a look in deeper formats.

Hauser accumulated six points (2-3 FG, 2-3 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and one steal over 18 minutes during Friday's 115-105 loss to the Nets.

Hauser's minutes have tanked recently, and this was his largest workload since he played 22 minutes Feb. 15 against the Pistons. With Robert Williams tweaking his left hamstring, the Celtics could go with some smaller lineups if Williams misses time and that could potentially benefit Hauser.

Hauser was in the starting lineup for the fourth time over Boston's past five matchup and has scored in double figures in each of those contests. During that stretch, he's averaging 15.2 points and 5.2 rebounds while shooting 53.7 percent from three. His role will surely diminish when Boston returns to full strength, but Hauser has proven, on multiple occasions this year, that he can provide a major spark when given even a small opportunity off the bench.

Hauser contributed 20 points (7-12 FG, 6-11 3Pt) and one steal in 31 minutes during Sunday's 119-109 victory over the Grizzlies.

The six made threes tied Hauser's career high, while the 20 points was his best performance since he dropped 24 on the Pistons on Nov. 9. The second-year forward has scored in double digits in four straight games, starting three of them, and he should continue to have value leading up to the All-Star break as the Boston roster deals with multiple injuries.

Hauser is not consistent enough to be an asset in fantasy, but he certainly makes his presence felt off the bench for a Celtics team that doesn't have a defined scoring threat in the second unit. Hauser has logged at least 20 minutes in four of his last six outings and is averaging 8.5 points while shooting 57.7 percent from three-point range in that span.

Hauser went a perfect 3-of-3 from behind the arc in the first half and did not miss a shot until the end of the third quarter. The Celtics forward hit five threes on the night, which led the game, while also grabbing a season-high six rebounds as Boston cruised to their sixth road victory of the season. It was just Hauser's third time this season scoring in double figures as he continues to see solid minutes off the bench for the Celtics.

Hauser had 24 points (9-15 FG, 6-12 3PT) and two rebounds in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 128-112 win over the Pistons.

Hauser has now scored in double figures in two of his last three games despite starting the season with eight straight single-digit performances. Wednesday also marked the first time this year he's been on the floor for 30-plus minutes, so he could be in the process of carving out a larger role for himself within this Boston rotation. It'll be tough to take Hauser off the floor if he continues to knock down threes at this rate.

Hauser posted 17 points (6-9 FG, 5-8 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes during Saturday's 133-118 win over New York.

Hauser turned in a new season-high in scoring with the help of five triples, also a season-best. The Virginia product had been inconsistent at best through his first eight games of the season entering Saturday, averaging 5.1 points and 1.8 rebounds in 12.1 minutes. However, he could certainly carve out a more prominent role in the rotation with more performances like this.

Hauser registered nine points (3-5 FG, 3-5 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 23 minutes during Sunday's 112-94 victory over the Wizards.

Hauser put together his best performance of the season Sunday, producing season-highs in minutes, points, rebounds and assists. The 24-year-old is 10-for-18 on three-point attempts over the first six games and is averaging 5.5 points in 11.4 minutes. If he continues to have a hot hand, he's likely to earn a more secure role off the bench.

Hauser will operate off the bench during Friday's preseason finale against the Raptors.

Hauser officially signed a three-year contract with the Celtics on Saturday, Brian Robb of MassLive.com reports.

Hauser went unselected in the 2021 NBA Draft but signed a two-way contract with the Celtics in August of 2021 that was eventually converted to a standard deal in February of 2022. Hauser saw most of his playing time in the G League, where he averaged 16.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists while notably hitting 3.9 threes per game at 43.3 percent. Boston is presumably hoping the 24-year-old can step into some more NBA minutes in the coming seasons as a floor-spacer.

Hauser (shoulder) is not listed on the team's injury report ahead of Thursday's Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Warriors.

Hauser was unavailable for 12 straight games leading up to the NBA Finals, but it appears the shoulder issue he was dealing with won't keep him off the court if his number is called against the Warriors. Boston is planning to sign Hauser to a contract for the remainder of the season, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

The Celtics currently have five open roster spots after Thursday's trade deadline moves. Wojnarowski relays that two of those spots are expected to go to Hauser and Luke Kornet. Across 20 G League contests with the Maine Celtics, 24-year-old is averaging 19.0 points while shooting 42.6 percent from three (9.8 attempts per game).

In his return from a 10-day stint in the protocols, Hauser was included in the NBA rotation for the first time in his young career. Hauser picked up the playing time largely because the Celtics were without nine other men and he and Jabari Parker (nine minutes) will likely be the first two players to exit the rotation as soon as the team gets more bodies back into the mix. Since Hauser is on a two-way contract, he's a prime candidate to head to the Celtics' G League affiliate in Maine before long.
