Henderson may defer primary scoring duties to Anfernee Simons -- who put up 14 points Tuesday -- throughout the campaign, but the rookie has the potential to be an impactful offensive player out the gate, especially with Damian Lillard now in Milwaukee.

General manager Joe Cronin said Monday that Henderson (shoulder) is good to go for the start of training camp, Danny Marang of 1080 The Fan Portland reports.

Henderson missed some time during Summer League play due to a shoulder issue, but he's moved past the issue for the start of training camp. The No. 3 overall pick in this year's draft should be available when the Trail Blazers begin preseason action on Oct. 12.

Henderson (shoulder) is out for Tuesday's Summer League game against the Hornets, Sam Perley of the Hornets' official site reports.

Henderson will miss yet another matchup with a highly-touted prospect in No. 2 pick Brandon Miller. His next chance to suit up is Thursday's matchup with Orlando.

Henderson (shoulder) won't play in Sunday's game against the Spurs, Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports.

The matchup was highly anticipated, as No. 3 pick Henderson was slated to go head-to-head with No. 1 pick Victor Wembenyama. However, after Henderson tweaked his shoulder in Friday's Summer League opener, the Trail Blazers are going to give the point guard some extra time to rest and recover from the injury. Henderson's next chance to play will come Tuesday against No. 2 pick Brandon Miller and the Hornets.

Henderson suffered a right shoulder injury during Friday's Summer League game against Houston and will not return.

Henderson was putting on quite the show before picking up the injury, producing 15 points, six assists, five rebounds, one steal and one three-pointer in 21 minutes of action. Hopefully he will recover in time for Sunday's showdown against Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs, but no specifics about the injury are known just yet.
