Prince had been moved to the bench in Kenny Atkinson's final game at the helm Friday versus the Spurs, and the forward continued to back up Wilson Chandler while interim coach Jacque Vaughn was on the bench for the first time Sunday. While the benching may seem like a demotion on the surface, Prince has logged 30 and 29 minutes, respectively, in his first two games as a reserve, right on par with his season-long average (29.0 per game). Rather than his playing time, the major concern with Prince is his game-to-game inconsistency.

Prince will come off the bench for Friday's action against the Spurs, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

Coach Kenny Atkinson will opt to give Wilson Chandler the starting nod. Friday's game will be the first time all season that Prince has come off the bench.

Prince posted two points (1-8 FG, 0-5 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block across 19 minutes during Tuesday's 129-120 overtime victory against the Celtics.

Prince had one of his worst performances of the season Tuesday. He was ice cold shooting the ball, plus committed three turnovers and four fouls in only 19 minutes. He'll look to bounce back Wednesday against the Grizzlies.

Prince posted 14 points (5-15 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and one block across 32 minutes during Monday's 106-105 victory over the Pacers.

Prince continues to launch from beyond the arc, and Monday marked his 22nd game this season with at least a trio of triples. He's currently 19th in made threes (127) and has the seventh-highest three-point attempt rate (.587) of players who have seen at least 1,500 minutes.

Prince gathered 16 points (6-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds and three assists in 30 minutes during Friday's 133-118 win over the Bulls.

Prince has been fairly consistent during the month of January, logging over 25 minutes in all but three games while scoring in double digits in seven of his last eight contests. Prince might never be Brooklyn's main go-to guy on offense, but he has been consistent enough to remain productive in most formats. He is averaging 13.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 15 games during January.

Prince pitched in 22 points (9-16 FG, 4-8 3Pt), seven rebounds, four steals and one assist in 28 minutes during Wednesday's 125-115 win over the Pistons.

Prince matched his career high in steals while turning in an impressively well-rounded stat line. The 25-year-old wing still struggles from the field more often than not and is sporting a career-worst percentage, but he has upped his rebounding significantly compared to his first three seasons.

Prince had 14 points (4-10 FG, 3-7 3PT, 3-3 FT), four assists and three rebounds in 29 minutes during Sunday's 110-97 loss at the Knicks.

Prince continues to produce as a starter, posting double-digit performances in all but three games during January so far. That said, he has been struggling with his shot of late -- he is making just 41.3 percent of his field goal attempts over his last six contests. Even considering those shooting woes, he should remain a starter ahead of Wednesday's contest against the Pistons.

Prince put up 18 points (6-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four assists, three rebounds and three steals in 29 minutes during Thursday's loss to the Lakers.

Prince has produced a serviceable standard league value over his last four outings, putting up 14.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.5 triples and 1.8 steals per game in that span. While he's certainly worth a look in most leagues, Prince doesn't possess the highest upside while the Nets' wing rotation is healthy.
