Davenport has announced, via his personal Twitter account, that he has committed to South Alabama for the upcoming season,
ANALYSIS
Davenport will make the move to South Alabama this offseason after spending his freshman season with Utah State. The 6-foot-2 quarterback appeared in three games with the Aggies, throwing for 245 yards (27-for-44), one touchdown and two interceptions.

Davenport went 17-for-26 passing for 104 yards and one interception and rushed for 19 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 28-14 loss against Wyoming.
ANALYSIS
With Cooper Legas (concussion) and Levi Williams (ankle) both out Saturday, Davenport, the team's third-string quarterback, got the chance to start against Wyoming. The true freshman did not pass for any touchdowns and did commit an interception, but he completed a five-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

ANALYSIS
Davenport was called upon in the second quarter after both Cooper Legas (concussion) and Levi Williams (ankle) left with injuries. The true freshman did just enough to get his team the win, but overall was unimpressive. The team has not made any mention during the week of whether Legas or Williams will be able to play Saturday. In the case neither of them does, Davenport figures to be in line for his first collegiate start against the Cowboys.

Davenport completed 3 of 9 passes for 41 yards and rushed for 29 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 17-13 win over the Colorado State.
ANALYSIS
Davenport made his collegiate debut after Cooper Legas (concussion) and Levi Williams (ankle) both exited with injury, and he helped Utah State secure their third win of the season. He may not have had a flawlessly executed game, but he kept the ball out of the opponents hands and rushed for a touchdown that gave the Aggies the lead.
