Totals 10 targets in victory
Trayanum accrued nine rushes for 22 yards and caught their only target for 19 yards during Saturday's 20-12 win over Penn State.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum logged just played a significant amount of snaps in this back-and-forth slugfest between these two Big Ten East foes. However, he still logged fewer carries than fellow senior running back Miyan Williams (24, 61 yards, one touchdown). While neither back found much success on the ground, it was unusual to see Williams serve as the primary ball carrier ahead of Trayanum. Ohio State has not really employed a true RB1 for most of this season, though it's likely that explosive junior TreVeyon Henderson will see the bulk of carries if he returns from an undisclosed injury in time to play Wisconsin in Week 9.

Off injury report
Trayanum (undisclosed) is off the injury report for Saturday's game versus Penn State.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum will likely take on some decent workload Saturday, with TreVeyon Henderson (undisclosed) unlikely to suit up. He's slated to work alongside Miyan Williams on Saturday.
Oct 21, 2023
Won't play against Penn State
Trayanum (undisclosed) is out for Saturday's game versus Penn State.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum will miss Saturday's contest due to an undisclosed injury he suffered against Purdue. His next chance to suit up is Week 9's matchup with Wisconsin.
Oct 14, 2023
Likely done for the day
Trayanum was injured towards the end of the first quarter and is on the sideline without his helmet, Dan Hope of ElevenWarriors.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum took a hard hit towards the end of the first quarter and stumbled as he tried to get up. He was taken to the medical tent and is now on the sideline without his helmet which likely means he is done for the day. With TreVeyon Henderson and Miyan Williams also out, fourth-string running back Dallan Hayden is now taking snaps for the Buckeyes. Before leaving the game, Trayanum rushed six times for 28 yards and caught one pass for nine yards.

Serves as RB1 in win
Trayanum posted 20 carries for 61 yards and one touchdown and reeled in 1 of 3 targets for -18 yards during Saturday's 37-17 win over Maryland.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum logged double-digit carries for the first time since Ohio State's loss to Michigan in last year's regular-season finale. The senior running back served as more of a third-string running back through the first four games of this season, but he jumped up into a lead role with TreVeyon Henderson (undisclosed) sidelined against Maryland. Trayanum was almost completely held in check by the Terrapins' defense, but he did manage to get the edge and scamper into the corner of the end zone for a four-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. This marked his third rushing touchdown of the season, and he has now tallied 45 carries for 207 yards through five games. The 5-foot-11, 233-pounder will likely return to a much more limited workload with Henderson expected to reprise his starting spot Week 7 at Purdue.

Sees nine touches Week 1
Trayanum tallied eight rushes for 57 yards and hauled in their only target for 12 yards during Saturday's 23-3 win versus Indiana.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum finished as the Buckeyes' leading rusher after getting his first touch midway through the third quarter. The 233-pound senior slotted in as the team's No. 3 running back behind starters TreVeyon Henderson (12 rushes, 47 yards) and Miyan Williams (seven rushes, 25 yards). Trayanum's season-long fantasy value is going to be restricted by his position down Ohio State's running back depth chart. However, he could continue to see a healthy amount of playing time if the team gets out to big leads against non-conference opponents Youngstown State and Western Kentucky in Week 2 and Week 3, respectively.

Top running back in loss
Trayanum (undisclosed) logged 14 carries for 83 yards and hauled in his only target for 14 yards during Saturday's 45-23 loss versus Michigan.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum made his first meaningful impact of the 2022 campaign after logging just one carry for nine yards over his first nine games. The backup rusher filled in for the team's banged-up corps of running back, as Miyan Williams, who was questionable with an undisclosed injury, logged just eight carries for 34 yards, and TreVeyon Henderson (foot) failed to suit up versus Michigan. However, Trayanum's contributions were largely limited aside from his 24-yard long in the second quarter. With the health of Henderson and Williams up in the air moving forward, Trayanum could once again see increased usage in Ohio State's eventual bowl game this postseason.
Nov 17, 2022
Should return against Maryland
Ohio State coach Ryan Day said Tuesday that he would be shocked if all three of Trayanum (undisclosed), TreVeyon Henderson (foot) and Miyan Williams (undisclosed) were unavailable for Saturday's game versus Maryland, Andrew Lind of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum hasn't had much of a role in the backfield this season, only managing one carry for nine yards in seven games. Even if he is able to play Saturday, both Williams and Henderson will likely have to remain out for the Arizona State transfer to receive a significant workload.
Nov 5, 2022
Primed for backfield role Saturday
Trayanum is working as the No.2 running back for Saturday's game against Northwestern,Dan Hope of Eleven Warriors reports.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum transferred to Ohio State to play linebacker but attrition in the Buckeye backfield has led to him returning to his former position at running back. The former Sun Devil averaged over 5.0 YPC for Arizona State on 127 career carries and added 10 touchdowns. With TreVeyon Henderson out against Northwestern, Trayanum could be a factor behind Miyan Williams.
Oct 25, 2022
Will be at RB going forward
Coach Ryan Day said that Trayanum will be at running back moving forward, Joey Kaufman of The Columbus Dispatch reports.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum will move from linebacker to running back full-time. It was something that was rumored in the offseason. Coach Day decided to make this move after walk-on T.C. Caffey suffered a season-ending injury. Trayanum will add depth to the RB room, but is unlikely to see that many snaps on offense this season.
Dec 25, 2021
Lands at Ohio State
Trayanum announced Saturday that he is transferring to Ohio State.
ANALYSIS
This is a big pickup for the Buckeyes who will now be even more loaded in the backfield with the addition of Trayanum from Arizona State. TreVeyon Henderson remains the projected lead back but Trayanum is talented enough to have a role as well. Trayanum ran for 401 yards and six touchdowns on 78 attempts over nine games in 2021 and will be immediately eligible for next season.
Nov 29, 2021
Leaving ASU
Trayanum is in the transfer portal, 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum enters the portal after rushing for 691 yards during his career with Arizona State. He should keep three more years of eligibility going forward.
Nov 22, 2021
Logs team's sole touchdown
Trayanum carried the ball four times for 12 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 24-10 loss to Oregon State.
ANALYSIS
The Beavers squelched the Sun Devils' rushers in the win, but Trayanum managed to sneak a touchdown in while in the red zone. Rachaad White led the backfield, which has been a continuing trend. and has compromised Trayanum's results.
Oct 31, 2021
Carries backfield in loss
Trayanum rushed 19 times for 89 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 34-21 loss to Washington State. he also caught two passes for 23 yards.
ANALYSIS
Saturday marked Tryanum's best totals of the season. He also scored a touchdown after a three-week drought. The sophomore should continue producing decent stat lines for the remainder of the season.
Oct 8, 2021
Disappears from offense in win
Trayanum rushed nine times for 50 yards in Friday's 28-10 win over Stanford.
ANALYSIS
We saw a decent dose of Trayanum in the first half, but he devolved into a non-factor after halftime, as Rachaad White took over most of the backfield duties. There appeared to be no injury associated with his departure, but simply Herman Edwards' decision to work with the hot hand.
Oct 3, 2021
Returns to action and scores
Trayanum rushed 16 times for 67 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 42-23 win over UCLA.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum saw almost twice as many carries as counterpart Rachaad White in his return to the field. The disparity is a portent of things to come in the backfield, though the timeshare between the two backs will likely continue. The duo will probably split drives between them, with Trayanum getting first-crack at goal-line carries.
Sep 28, 2021
Practicing as expected
Trayanum is on the practice field for Tuesday's session, Michelle Gardner of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Coach Herm Edwards indicated Monday that Trayanum will make his return to action Saturday against UCLA, so it's not particularly surprising that Trayanum is on the field for practice Tuesday. The sophomore rushed six times for 52 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the opener versus Southern Utah but hasn't played since. That will change this week, with Trayanum set to rejoin Rachaad White and Daniyel Ngata in the backfield rotation.
Sep 27, 2021
Going to play against UCLA
Trayanum (foot) will play in Saturday's game against UCLA, Rivals.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum and Bryan Thompson will both rejoin the offense this week after being out with injuries. Trayanum should mix into the backfield rotation with Rachaad White and Daniyel Ngata.
Sep 27, 2021
Hopeful to return this week
Coach Herm Edwards said he is hopeful that Trayanum (foot) will be able to return this week, Rivals.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum has missed the last three games and has been wearing a boot on his injured foot. We'll see how much he is able to do in practice this week leading up to Saturday's game against UCLA.
Sep 25, 2021
Out again Saturday
Trayanum (foot) is unavailable for Saturday's game against Colorado, Rivals.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum still has his foot in a protective boot and will be sidelined for the third consecutive contest. Daniyel Ngata should continue to have a larger role in the backfield behind starter Rachaad White.
Sep 22, 2021
Misses practice Wednesday
Trayanum (foot) did not practice Wednesday, 247 Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum did not play last week against BYU due to an undisclosed issue. He is still not practicing which is not overly encouraging for his status to play Saturday against Colorado.
Sep 18, 2021
Won't play Saturday
Trayanum is inactive for Saturday's game against BYU, Doug Haller of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum was seen wearing a walking boot on his right foot during warmups as he's set to miss a second straight game. The sophomore back had six carries for 52 yards and two touchdowns in the opener, signaling that he should be part of the game plan once he's ready to return.
Sep 13, 2021
Available to play
Trayanum (undisclosed) is available to play this week against BYU, Rivals.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum did not play last week due to an undisclosed issue. Coach Herm Edwards assured reporters that all running backs were healthy going into a matchup with BYU.
Sep 11, 2021
Not in uniform Saturday
Trayanum (undisclosed) is not in uniform for warmups ahead of Saturday's game against UNLV, Doug Haller of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum is nicked up with an undisclosed issue and was not practicing earlier in the week. With kickoff looming, he's not in uniform, which is a bad sign for his availability against the Rebels. Rachaad White and Daniyel Ngata (probable) could be the top rushers for the Sun Devils on Saturday.
Sep 9, 2021
Watches practice Wednesday
Trayanum (undisclosed) did not participate in practice on Wednesday, 247 Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum was observed in a jersey, but with no pads and was only walking around. Trayanum was limited on Wednesday due to some "nicks and bruises" but it's unclear what his status is now for the Week 2 matchup on Saturday against UNLV.
Sep 7, 2021
Precautionary limited practice
Trayanum was limited in practice Tuesday as a precaution due to some "nicks and bruises," Rivals.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum doesn't appear to be in danger of missing Saturday's game versus UNLV but may have picked up a small issue on his six carries for 52 yards and a pair of scores last week. He should be considered probable to play unless something changes later in the week.
Sep 4, 2021
Rushes for two touchdowns
Trayanum carried the ball six times for 52 yards and two touchdowns in Thursday's 41-14 win over Southern Utah.
ANALYSIS
The sophomore is primed for a big second season alongside Rachaad White in the backfield. While this was a decisive blowout, the Sun Devils cannot survive by the rush alone, and as they face stiffer competition, their one-dimensional offense may suffer some growing pains. From a fantasy perspective, the dual running back approach could have adverse effects for White and Trayanum, but in the short term, it looks like there is plenty of opportunity for both backs.
Dec 20, 2020
Scores rushing touchdown
Trayanum ran the ball 12 times for 57 yards and one touchdown against Oregon State on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum finishes his freshman year with his fourth rushing touchdown of the season. He had a consistent role in the offense, recording double-digit touches each week. He only went above 100 yards once, but he'll enter the off-season with a good claim to compete for a significant role in the rushing offense next year.
Dec 12, 2020
Scores third TD of the year
Trayanum ran the ball 10 times for 41 yards and one touchdown against Arizona on Friday.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum had his least productive day of the year, thanks in large part to a large lead that enabled his team to show off its depth. He still managed to find the end zone for his third score of the year. He'll enter next season with a strong case to lead the Sun Devils backfield.
Dec 7, 2020
Runs for 108 yards
Trayanum ran the ball 15 times for 108 yards and caught one pass for five yards against UCLA on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum once again lead the Sun Devils backfield, turning in the first 100 yard game of his young career. The Freshman was held out of the end zone in his second career contest as the Arizona State offense struggled to finish off drives. He'll lead the backfield against Arizona next week.
Nov 8, 2020
Scores twice in debut
Trayanum ran the ball 12 times for 84 yards and two touchdowns against USC on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Trayanum had an impressive collegiate debut leading the Sun Devils backfield and punching it in for a pair of scores. Trayanum will always be the second option to quarterback Jayden Daniels, but its an enviable position for a runner to be in, as Daniels will usually take the focus of the defense leaving holes for Trayanum to run through. He'll face a stiffer challenge against California next week.
