Does not travel Saturday
Bishop (ankle) did not travel with the team ahead of Saturday's game at Kentucky, Patrick Brown of 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Bishop did not travel for Saturday's game as he continues to recover from his ankle injury. The true-freshman has still not taken the field this season. This was around the time he was expected to be back, but he is clearly not yet ready to suit up and make his collegiate debut. His next chance to do so is next Saturday at UConn.

Out for several months
Bishop (ankle) will sit out several months of Tennessee's 2023 season, Ben McKee of 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Because of his injured ankle, Bishop will have to sit out at least half of Tennessee's 2023 season. He was expected to make his college football debut in September, but his first appearance will have to wait until at least October, barring any setbacks from what is clearly a significant injury.
