With fellow receiver Jalen McMillan expected to miss time, he could be in line for a bigger role in the Huskies' offense.

Bernard logged eight catches for 98 yards during Saturday's 31-24 victory against Arizona.

The Michigan State transfer got his chance to shine in the close win after minimal involvement to begin the season. Jalen McMillan's (undisclosed) absence was a big reason for Bernard's leap up the depth chart, and he took advantage. McMillan will have two weeks to heal, so his return will likely drive down Bernard's numbers.

Bernard announced he will transfer to Washington State on Wednesday.
