ANALYSIS
Aguilar accounted for at least three touchdowns for a sixth straight contest as Appalachian State blew out Georgia Southern to earn a spot in the Sun Belt Championship. Aguilar will finish the regular season with 3,271 passing yards and a 33:9 TD:INT while adding 274 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns across 12 outings.

Leads massive upset
Aguilar completed 28 of 46 passes for 318 yards, three touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 26-23 overtime victory versus James Madison.
ANALYSIS
Aguilar topped 300 yards for the fourth time this season and notched at least three touchdown passes for a fourth straight contest. His efforts were especially impressive considering James Madison entered the game undefeated and owns an extremely stout defense. After 11 appearances, Aguilar has the third most passing yards in the Sun Belt while ranking first in passing touchdowns.

Solid day against Ga State
Aguilar completed 14 of 21 passes for 255 yards, three touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 42-14 win against Georgia State. He also had five rushes for 20 yards.
ANALYSIS
Aguilar was incredibly effective downfield, averaging 18.2 yards per completion. He's topped 250 yards in five of his last six games, a stretch in which he's thrown 17 touchdowns. He'll look to continue his recent success against James Madison on Saturday.

Aguilar was 19-for-26 passing for 226 yards and three touchdowns during Saturday's 31-9 win versus Marshall. He also had 10 rushes for 44 yards.
ANALYSIS
Aguilar was limited to just 26 pass attempts Saturday with Appalachian State earning a multi-score lead early on. However, he still managed to account for three touchdowns and completed 73.1 percent of his passes. Over his last five games, Aguilar has racked up 1,509 passing yards and a 14:3 TD:INT while adding 160 yards and a touchdown as a rusher.

Aguilar was 23-for-33 passing for 391 yards, four touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 48-38 victory over Southern Miss. He also had nine rushes for 43 yards.

Aguilar topped 300 passing yards for the third time in his last four appearances, this time setting a season high in yards while notching four passing touchdowns for the first time since Week 1. Aguilar was 18-for-31 passing for 305 yards and two touchdowns during Tuesday's 27-24 loss against Coastal Carolina.
ANALYSIS
The Appalachian State offense was forced into a pass-heavy approach early in Tuesday's game after Nate Noel went down with an ankle injury in the first quarter. Aguilar turned the expanded opportunity into his second consecutive 300-yard passing game and fired multiple touchdown passes for the fifth time in six games. The outing also marked Aguilar's first game without committing a turnover since Week 1.

Aguilar was 27-for-39 passing for 335 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions during Saturday's 41-40 victory against Louisiana-Monroe. He also had seven rushes for 49 yards.
ANALYSIS
Saturday's outing marked Aguilar's first 300-yard passing game of 2023, while he also set a season high in rushing yards. However, he turned the ball over three times, losing a fumble and throwing two interceptions -- one with 9:23 left in the game. Through five games, Aguilar has thrown for 1,225 yards and a 12:5 TD:INT while adding 137 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown.

ANALYSIS
For the first time all year, Aguilar was unable to find the endzone through the air, finishing with 200 yards and an interception on 40 attempts. Through four games, Aguilar has 890 yards to go along with a 9:3 TD:INT.

ANALYSIS
Though Aguilar's performance will be overlooked by Nate Noel's 178 rushing yards, the Junior signal-caller put together a strong stat line against ECU. He hooked up with Kaedin Robinson, Milan Tucker and David Larkins for touchdowns on the day to improve his season passing touchdown total to nine. While Ryan Burger (finger) is expected to return in the coming weeks, Aguilar's impressive start to 2023 could earn him the starting job permanently.

Aguilar was 22-for-43 passing for 275 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 40-34 overtime loss to North Carolina. He also had six rushes for 42 yards.
ANALYSIS
Aguilar drew the starting nod in place of Ryan Berger, who is set to miss three-to-four weeks with a hand injury, and nearly led the Mountaineers to a massive upset win. Aguilar developed a strong connection with Deshaun Davis ( seven receptions, 117 yards and one touchdown) and turned in over 300 total yards with a pair of scores on the day.

Starting quarterback for Week 2
Aguilar will be the starting quarterback for Appalachian State's game Saturday at North Carolina, 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ryan Burger (hand) must sit out at least three-to-four weeks recovering from his injury. It gives Aguilar that much time to impress while his quarterback teammate is injured. The junior impressed in place of Burger during Week 1, when he logged 11 completions for 174 yards and four touchdowns against Gardner-Webb.

Aguilar was 11-for-13 passing for 174 yards and four touchdowns during Saturday's 45-24 win over Gardner Webb. He also added eight rushing yards on three carries.
ANALYSIS
Aguilar stepped onto the field in place of starter Ryan Burger, who exited the game for unknown reasons late in the second quarter, and immediately delivered a 32-yard touchdown strike to Kaedin Robinson. Though Burger also had a solid day through the air (7-for-11 for 70 yards and a touchdown), Aguilar's hyper-efficient performance could put pressure on Burger's starting job. Regardless, the Appalachian State quarterback room remains worth monitoring ahead of next week's game against the Tar Heels.
