Scores despite subpar outing
Coleman compiled five carries for 17 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 59-23 win over Arizona State.
ANALYSIS
Coleman turned in his second-worst total of the season in the win, as Arizona's offense placed more importance on the passing game. The sophomore figures to be the lead back next season after Michael Wiley departs, but he should also make an an impact in Arizona's bowl appearance.

Finds end zone in win
Coleman totaled 14 carries for 90 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 42-18 victory against Utah.
ANALYSIS
Although Michael Wiley returned from injury a few weeks ago, it hasn't stopped Coleman from putting up superior numbers. The sophomore has been a pleasant surprise for the Wildcats and has provided the team with much-needed balance to complement Noah Fifita's excellent play. Coleman has 1,123 yards of total offense and five touchdowns this season.
Nov 11, 2023
Logs season-high 179 yards
Coleman totaled 11 rushes for 179 yards during Saturday's 34-31 win over Colorado.
ANALYSIS
Coleman failed to find the end zone, but he was able to run all over a weak Colorado defense. The Bowl-eligible Wildcats exhibit a very balanced attack thanks to the standout play of Coleman and the efficient play of freshman quarterback Noah Fifita.

Asserts himself as lead back
Coleman logged 17 carries for 77 yards and caught his only target for negative six yards during Saturday's 27-10 win over UCLA.
ANALYSIS
Though the numbers were not anything crazy, Saturday's contest showed that Arizona has chosen to ride with Coleman as their starter going forward. Fellow running back Michael Wiley was the starter early on in the season, but Coleman's performances as of late seem to have elevated him to the top of the depth chart. As such, the sophomore running back is the running back to roll with in this backfield.

Sees regression alongside Riley
Coleman had 11 carries for 55 yards and caught their only target for two yards during Saturday's 27-24 victory over Oregon State.
ANALYSIS
Michael Wiley's absence was a huge boon to Coleman's output, but the veteran's return has slightly derailed what was already a breakout year for the sophomore. He should still be able to execute some breakout plays, but the backfield has regressed into a committee situation.

Huge game in blowout win
Coleman logged 11 rushes for 70 yards and three touchdowns during Saturday's 44-6 win against Washington State. He also had four catches for 98 yards.
ANALYSIS
When Michael Wiley finally returns, he may find himself backing up Coleman, who's been unstoppable over the past two weeks. After shredding USC's defense, he racked up 168 yards of total offense against the Cougars, who had no answer for Arizona's defense. Coleman has 433 rushing yards, 296 receiving yards and four total touchdowns through seven games.
Oct 8, 2023
Dominant performance in narrow loss
Coleman logged 22 rushes for 143 yards during Saturday's 43-41 overtime defeat against USC. He also caught four passes for 37 yards.
ANALYSIS
Michael Wiley (ankle) was unable to go, and Coleman took full advantage of the opportunity, logging a monstrous USC's porous defense. He's amassed 562 yards of total offense this season and should see his share of touches when Wiley returns.
Sep 25, 2023
104 yards of total offense in win
Coleman logged 12 carries for 75 yards and caught all four targets for 29 yards during Saturday's 21-20 victory versus Stanford.
ANALYSIS
Production from Michael Wiley was conspicuously absent, but Coleman got the job while sharing the load with DJ Williams. Although both backs had a similar number of carries, Coleman was far more effective in breaking tackles and finding open space. Although Arizona's offense is known to make its share of mistakes, the running game seems to be intact despite Wiley's disappearance.

Gets the nod Saturday

Will be primary backup
Coleman will start the season as the backup running back, Michael Lev of the Arizona Daily Star reports.
ANALYSIS
Coleman will be behind Michael Wiley on the depth chart but he may not be for long as Wiley only averaged 3.3 yards per carry last season. If Wiley struggles don't be surprised to see Coleman getting a chance to shine.
