Headed to Montana State
Davis announced his decision to transfer to Montana State, Mike Farrell of MikeFarrellSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Davis is headed to Montana State after appearing in three seasons with Wisconsin. The 5-foot-10 running back totaled 35 carries for 200 yards over the course of his time with the Badgers. Davis is a former three-star recruit.

Sidelined with leg issue
Davis has been out the last few weeks with an apparent leg injury and continued to be held out of practice Saturday, Zach Heilprin of 1670AM The Zone Madison reports.
ANALYSIS
The Badger's running back corp has been severely banged up recently with Davis, Jalen Berger and Brady Schipper all dealing with leg injuries and Isaac Guerendo limited by a groin injury. The three running backs mentioned aside from Berger are all battling for positioning on the depth chart but may have to continue their competition in preseason with spring practices set to wrap up Friday.
