Continues to struggle
Short only caught one pass for 29 yards in Army's 21-14 loss to Massachusetts last Saturday.
ANALYSIS
The sophomore had a big game against Syracuse with six catches for 105 yards and one touchdown on Sept. 23. But since then, Short has only five catches for 60 yards. Despite the drought the sophomore leads the Black Knights in catches with 16 and second in receiving yards with 252, only behind Isaiah Alston's 266 receiving yards.

Continues hot streak
Short again led Army in receiving 105 yards on six catches and a touchdown in the 29-16 loss to Syracuse on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
There is no doubt that Short is Black Knights quarterback Bryson Daily's favorite target in the early going of the season. The sophomore has nine catches for 175 yards and two touchdowns in the last two weeks. After the bye week, Army takes on Boston College whose pass defense is in the middle of the pack in the country.

Leads in catches
Short had the most catches for the Army receivers with three receptions for 68 yards and a touchdown in the upset of UTSA, 37-29, on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
It was the sophomore's top statistics in his short Army career. Before the contest against UTSA, Short only had two catches at Army. With Bryson Daily under center, the Black Knights have thrown the ball more this season. Short could be in for another productive day on Sept. 23 when Army travels to Syracuse. While the Orange are in the top 50 in passing defense in the country, Syracuse is tougher against the run as they are in the top 14 in the US.

Listed as starter
Short is listed as a starter for Army's game Friday at USA.
ANALYSIS
Army listed Short as a backup before the team's first two games of 2023. The receiver impressed despite his limited samples during Week 2, when he logged two receptions and one carry for 23 all-purpose yards (19 receiving, four rushing) against Delaware State.
