He scored five times on just 18 catches a season ago. Expect Thomas to be targeted early and often at Arizona next weekend, though quarterback Will Rogers does tend to spread the ball around.

Thomas is listed as a starter for Saturday's game against Memphis, Stefan Krajisnik of The Jackson Clarion-Ledger reports.

Mississippi State has Thomas as the starting X receiver on the outside ahead of Lideatrick Griffin or Justin Robinson. Thomas impressed in a limited sample last season with 18 catches for 252 yards and five touchdowns on 27 targets and should be prominently featured in Mississippi State's pass-happy offense.
