Inks extension with San Francisco
McKivitz signed a three-year, $45 million extension with the 49ers on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

McKivitz is now under contract through the 2028 season and is expected to receive $27 million in guaranteed money, per Schefter. The 49ers re-signed McKivitz to a one-year, $7 million contract Friday, per AMDG Sports.

The 27-year-old will remain a 49er for the immediate future after agreeing to a new, one-year deal Friday. McKivitz has spent all four years of his career in San Francisco, making 45 appearances and starting 22 games. It's unclear when McKivitz sustained the injury, but head coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that the right tackle is considered "day-to-day" after he "got his ankle rolled up on and has knee soreness".
