Limited to special teams in Week 9
Laube returned one kickoff for 30 yards in Sunday's 30-29 overtime loss to the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
Laube did not play an offensive snap in Week 9, and his lone chance to return a kickoff didn't come until the fourth quarter. Expect the lack of fantasy utility to continue for Laube while fellow running backs Ashton Jeanty and Raheem Mostert remain healthy ahead of a Thursday Night Football tilt against a tough Broncos defense.

Three late touches in loss
Laube rushed twice for three yards and caught his lone target for one yard in Sunday's 31-0 loss to the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Laube handled three touches on just five offensive snaps late in the fourth quarter during the Raiders' blowout defeat, ceding work to fellow running backs Ashton Jeanty and Raheem Mostert earlier in the contest. Nonetheless, Laube managed to play through the hamstring injury that impacted his practice participation ahead of the Week 7 loss, while Zamir White (coach's decision) was a healthy scratch Sunday.

Good to go for Sunday
Laube (hamstring) does not carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game at Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
Laube hurt his hamstring in Week 6 versus the Titans and started the Raiders' new week of practice on the sideline, but he'll ultimately be healthy enough to suit up in Week 7. He has not played any offensive snaps over his last three games, so he figures to factor in mostly on special teams.

Returns to practice
Laube (hamstring) was a limited participant at practice Thursday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Laube was unable to practice to open the week Wednesday due to a hamstring injury he suffered Week 6, but his ability to return to the field Thursday is a step in the right direction. The running back will look to log a full session Friday ahead of the team's matchup against the Chiefs on Sunday.

Begins Week 7 prep as DNP
Laube (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Laube hurt his hamstring in the second half of this past Sunday's win over Tennessee. His inability to practice in any capacity Wednesday doesn't bode well for his chance of suiting up in Week 7 against the Chiefs, though Laube will have two more opportunities to participate in some capacity before the Raiders dole out injury designations Friday. If Laube can't play against Kansas City, Zamir White, who was a healthy scratch in Week 6, could be active as Las Vegas' No. 3 running back.
Oct 12, 2025
Questionable to return
Laube (hamstring) is questionable to return to Las Vegas' matchup versus the Titans on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Laube left the field during the second half, and the severity of his injury is currently unclear. With Zamir White (coach's decision) inactive, Ashton Jeanty and Raheem Mostert would be the only healthy running backs on the team if Laube is unable to return.
Oct 7, 2025
Not involved on offense in Week 5
Laube returned three kickoffs for 77 yards in Sunday's 40-6 loss to the Colts.
ANALYSIS
Laube failed to record a single offensive snap for the second straight week. The 25-year-old was only used on special teams while veteran Raheem Mostert operated as the No. 2 running back behind starter Ashton Jeanty. With Mostert seemingly entrenched as the top backup option, fantasy managers can expect more of the same for Laube going forward. The second-year New Hampshire product remains far off the fantasy radar as the Raiders get ready to host the Titans in Week 6.
Sep 30, 2025
Zero offensive snaps in defeat
Laube returned three kickoffs for 94 yards in Sunday's 25-24 loss to the Bears.
ANALYSIS
Laube did not take a single offensive snap in the Raiders' Week 4 defeat, despite fellow running back Zamir White's healthy scratch designation. Instead, it was 33-year-old veteran Raheem Mostert toting the rock behind starter Ashton Jeanty, and this backfield pairing combined for 200 rushing yards on just 25 total carries. Laube figures to remain stuck primarily in a special teams role against the Colts in Week 5.
Sep 23, 2025
Produces 60 return yards
Laube rushed three times for two yards and failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Commanders. He also returned three kickoffs for 60 yards.
ANALYSIS
Laube wasn't dealt an offensive touch until after the two-minute warning in the first half, and that two-yard carry was his longest of the day. Primarily involved on special teams, Laube remains the Raiders' RB3 behind rookie Ashton Jeanty and Zamir White ahead of a Week 4 matchup against the Bears.

Could see more work on offense
Laube finished Monday's 20-9 loss to the Chargers with two catches on as many targets for 17 yards and a solo tackle on special teams.
ANALYSIS
Both of Laube's catches came late in the second quarter while the Raiders attempted to put points on the board in a two-minute drill. Laube split his 24 snaps evenly between offense and special teams, but head coach Pete Carroll relayed Tuesday that the 2024 sixth-rounder could see more playing time on offense moving forward, per Anthony Galaviz of The Fresno Bee. Laube is currently listed as the Raiders' RB3 behind rookie first-rounder Ashton Jeanty and Zamir White.
Jan 11, 2025
Underwhelming rookie campaign
Laube returned a kickoff for 19 yards, but he logged just one offensive snap in the Raiders' Week 18 loss to the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Laube concluded his 2024 campaign with just one carry for no gain and a lost fumble across 10 games, also returning six kickoffs for 164 yards. The sixth rounder's rookie season was especially disappointing when considering the litany of injuries suffered by his backfield mates, as each of Alexander Mattison, Zamir White (quadriceps), Ameer Abdullah (foot) and Sincere McCormick (ankle) missed time. Laube has three years remaining on his contract in Las Vegas, but playing time nor a roster spot are guaranteed in 2025 with the Raiders slated to hire a new head coach and general manager.

Clear to suit up in Week 17
Laube (illness) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's matchup against the Saints, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Laube popped up on the injury report when he didn't practice due to an illness Thursday, but the rookie running back logged a limited session Friday and appears set to take the field Sunday. He'll likely see most -- or all -- of his work as a kick returner, as Laube has gotten only one offensive snap this season.
Dec 26, 2024
No practice Thursday due to illness
Laube (illness) was a non-participant in practice Thursday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Laube wasn't listed on Las Vegas' injury report Wednesday, but an illness prevented him from participating in the team's second practice of the week. It's not clear at this point if the rookie running back is at risk of missing Sunday's contest against New Orleans. Laube has logged just one snap on offense this season, but he's been contributing as a kick returner since Week 12.
Dec 2, 2024
Still not involved on offense
Laube recorded two kick returns for 36 return yards and a special-teams solo tackle during Friday's 19-17 loss at Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
Despite both Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quadriceps) being out in Week 13, Laube did not record any offensive snaps, leaving the work in the backfield for veteran Ameer Abdullah and rookie undrafted free agent Sincere McCormick. At this point, it doesn't seem like Laube has a feasible path to fantasy value in 2024.
Nov 25, 2024
Sticks to special teams Sunday
Laube did not see the field offensively for the Raiders in their 29-19 loss to the Broncos on Sunday, but he did return a kickoff for 59 yards in the first quarter.
ANALYSIS
Laube's complete lack of involvement on offense came as a bit of a surprise with both Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quad) sidelined, but the sixth-round rookie indeed fell behind Ameer Abdullah and Sincere McCormick in the pecking order out of the backfield. As such, playing time figures to remain sparse for Laube against the Chiefs in Week 13, especially if Mattison and/or White manage to return.
Nov 22, 2024
Big chance with two RBs doubtful
Laube's set for a larger role Sunday against the Broncos, as Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports that both Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quad) will be listed as doubtful.
ANALYSIS
Laube fumbled on his only previous carry this season, but coach Antonio Pierce remains supportive of the 2024 sixth-round draft pick. According to Tafur, Laube and practice squad running back Sincere McCormick would back up Ameer Abdullah if Mattison and White both sit. McCormick would first have to be elevated from the practice squad, where the Raiders also have Chris Collier.
Nov 22, 2024
Larger role awaits in Week 12
Laube is "expected to be a big part of the game plan" in Sunday's game against the Broncos with fellow Raiders running backs Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quadricep) both nursing injuries, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
ANALYSIS
Neither Mattison nor White has taken part in the Raiders' first two Week 12 practices, and both look to be trending toward sitting out Sunday. Ameer Abdullah is the No. 3 back on the depth chart and has suited up in all 10 of the Raiders' games this season, but he's been deployed largely as a special-teams contributor and change-of-pace/passing-down specialist on offense behind Mattison and White. With that in mind, Abdullah's role may not change dramatically in Week 12, which could pave the way for Laube to see more extensive work after he had been a healthy inactive for each of Las Vegas' last three games before its Week 10 bye. A 2024 sixth-round pick out of New Hampshire, Laube played just one snap on offense across Las Vegas' first six contests of the season and fell out of favor after fumbling on his first NFL carry in a Week 6 loss to the Steelers. Head coach Antonio Pierce has said that Laube has bounced back well from the miscue and has impressed with his effort in practices over the last few weeks,

Inactive for Week 11
Laube (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Sunday's game against Miami.
ANALYSIS
Laube fumbled his first -- and so far only -- NFL carry against Pittsburgh in Week 6 and hasn't taken the field since. Las Vegas' running game ranks dead last in the NFL with 76.9 yards per game on the campaign, but Laube remains firmly behind Alexander Mattison, Zamir White and Ameer Abdullah on the running back depth chart. There's certainly a chance the Raiders will eventually give Laube a chance to show what he can do given the team's 2-7 record heading into Week 11.
Oct 20, 2024
Healthy scratch for Week 7
Laube (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Laube has played in the Raiders' last three games, but he lost a fumble on his first NFL rushing attempt in Week 6 against the Steelers. His next chance at suiting up will be Week 8 against the Chiefs on Oct. 27. The Raiders will go with a three-man backfield of Zamir White, Alexander Mattison and Ameer Abdullah for Sunday's contest.
Oct 14, 2024
Loses fumble on first NFL carry
Laube lost a fumble on his only carry in Sunday's 32-13 loss to the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
The first offensive snap and rushing attempt of Laube's young NFL career resulted in a fumble, as the sixth-round rookie had the ball punched out of his arms by Steelers All-Pro T.J. Watt late in the second quarter. Laube didn't see the field on offense for the remainder of the contest, and with fellow running back Zamir White (groin) possibly returning against the Rams in Week 7, Laube could remain limited to a special teams role.
Sep 15, 2024
Healthy scratch again
Laube (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Ravens.
ANALYSIS
Laube will be a healthy scratch for the second week in a row to kick off the 2024 campaign. The rookie sixth-round selection remains behind Zamir White, Alexander Mattison and Ameer Abdullah on the team's positional depth chart and may need any injury to occur to make his NFL debut.
Sep 8, 2024
Inactive for Week 1
Laube is inactive for Sunday's season opener against the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Laube will thus need to wait to make his NFL regular-season debut. With the 2024 sixth-rounder not in uniform Sunday, Zamir White, Alexander Mattison and Ameer Abdullah are available to handle the Raiders' Week 1 backfield duties.

Gets start in preseason finale
Laube rushed three times for 12 yards and added one catch on one target for six yards in Friday's preseason tie with the 49ers. He also lost a fumble and returned a kickoff for 24 yards.
ANALYSIS
Las Vegas sat most of its starters in the contest, and Laube was thus handed the start. He ripped off a nice eight-yard run on his second carry but ended his day on a sour note, losing a fumble following a six-yard reception late in the first quarter. That Laube suited up Friday while Zamir White, Ameer Abdullah and Alexander Mattison all sat could be a hint about where he stands in the running-back pecking order. He could see more work in the return game than as a ball carrier in his rookie campaign.
Aug 16, 2024
Four carries in preseason debut
Laube rushed four times for eight yards and was targeted once in the passing game during the Raiders' preseason opener against the Vikings. He also returned one kickoff for 16 yards.
ANALYSIS
Laube didn't tote the rock until the second half in his NFL preseason debut, but he took his first carry for 13 yards before struggling to find much space on each of his final three rushes. Although he left his maiden tilt without a reception, the versatile sixth-round rookie out of New Hampshire continues to be lauded for his pass-catching chops as he looks to carve out a meaningful role in the backfield behind starter Zamir White.

Looks sharp early on
Laube has been making a case to earn some playing time early on this coming season, according to Vic Tafur of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Offensive coordinator Luke Getsy said the rookie sixth-round pick is "off to a great start," after head coach Antonio Pierce noted of Laube on Friday, "That dude is special. I like him...and he's gritty. he's a gritty RB. One thing - he surprises you with his speed." That said, Tafur acknowledges that Laube currently slots in behind fellow backs Zamir White, Alexander Mattison and Ameer Abdullah. The rookie is a threat to take over Abdullah's role on third downs and could also get a look on kick returns.

Looks sharp early on
Laube has been making a case to earn some playing time early on this coming season, according to Vic Tafur of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
With that possibility in mind, offensive coordinator Luke Getsy relayed that the rookie sixth-rounder out of New Hampshire is "off to a great start," while head coach Antonio Pierce noted of Laube on Friday, "that dude is special. I like him...and he's gritty. he's a gritty RB. One thing - he surprises you with his speed." That said, Tafur acknowledges that at this stage Laube slots in behind fellow backs Zamir White, Alexander Mattison and Ameer Abdullah. However, if Laube continue to impress this summer, the 5-foot-10, 208-pounder may be able to carve out a third-down role and possibly contribute as a kick returner in 2024.
