Expect the lack of fantasy utility to continue for Laube while fellow running backs Ashton Jeanty and Raheem Mostert remain healthy ahead of a Thursday Night Football tilt against a tough Broncos defense.

Laube rushed twice for three yards and caught his lone target for one yard in Sunday's 31-0 loss to the Chiefs.

Laube handled three touches on just five offensive snaps late in the fourth quarter during the Raiders' blowout defeat, ceding work to fellow running backs Ashton Jeanty and Raheem Mostert earlier in the contest. If Laube can't play against Kansas City, Zamir White, who was a healthy scratch in Week 6, could be active as Las Vegas' No. 3 running back.

With Mostert seemingly entrenched as the top backup option, fantasy managers can expect more of the same for Laube going forward. The second-year New Hampshire product remains far off the fantasy radar as the Raiders get ready to host the Titans in Week 6.

Laube did not take a single offensive snap in the Raiders' Week 4 defeat, despite fellow running back Zamir White's healthy scratch designation. Instead, it was 33-year-old veteran Raheem Mostert toting the rock behind starter Ashton Jeanty, and this backfield pairing combined for 200 rushing yards on just 25 total carries. Laube figures to remain stuck primarily in a special teams role against the Colts in Week 5.

Laube rushed three times for two yards and failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Commanders. He also returned three kickoffs for 60 yards.

Laube wasn't dealt an offensive touch until after the two-minute warning in the first half, and that two-yard carry was his longest of the day. Laube recorded two kick returns for 36 return yards and a special-teams solo tackle during Friday's 19-17 loss at Kansas City.

Despite both Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quadriceps) being out in Week 13, Laube did not record any offensive snaps, leaving the work in the backfield for veteran Ameer Abdullah and rookie undrafted free agent Sincere McCormick. At this point, it doesn't seem like Laube has a feasible path to fantasy value in 2024.

Laube's complete lack of involvement on offense came as a bit of a surprise with both Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quad) sidelined, but the sixth-round rookie indeed fell behind Ameer Abdullah and Sincere McCormick in the pecking order out of the backfield. As such, playing time figures to remain sparse for Laube against the Chiefs in Week 13, especially if Mattison and/or White manage to return.

Laube's set for a larger role Sunday against the Broncos, as Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports that both Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quad) will be listed as doubtful.

Laube fumbled on his only previous carry this season, but coach Antonio Pierce remains supportive of the 2024 sixth-round draft pick. According to Tafur, Laube and practice squad running back Sincere McCormick would back up Ameer Abdullah if Mattison and White both sit. McCormick would first have to be elevated from the practice squad, where the Raiders also have Chris Collier.

Laube is "expected to be a big part of the game plan" in Sunday's game against the Broncos with fellow Raiders running backs Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quadricep) both nursing injuries, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Neither Mattison nor White has taken part in the Raiders' first two Week 12 practices, and both look to be trending toward sitting out Sunday. Ameer Abdullah is the No. 3 back on the depth chart and has suited up in all 10 of the Raiders' games this season, but he's been deployed largely as a special-teams contributor and change-of-pace/passing-down specialist on offense behind Mattison and White. With that in mind, Abdullah's role may not change dramatically in Week 12, which could pave the way for Laube to see more extensive work after he had been a healthy inactive for each of Las Vegas' last three games before its Week 10 bye. A 2024 sixth-round pick out of New Hampshire, Laube played just one snap on offense across Las Vegas' first six contests of the season and fell out of favor after fumbling on his first NFL carry in a Week 6 loss to the Steelers. Head coach Antonio Pierce has said that Laube has bounced back well from the miscue and has impressed with his effort in practices over the last few weeks,

Laube fumbled his first -- and so far only -- NFL carry against Pittsburgh in Week 6 and hasn't taken the field since. Las Vegas' running game ranks dead last in the NFL with 76.9 yards per game on the campaign, but Laube remains firmly behind Alexander Mattison, Zamir White and Ameer Abdullah on the running back depth chart. There's certainly a chance the Raiders will eventually give Laube a chance to show what he can do given the team's 2-7 record heading into Week 11.

Laube didn't see the field on offense for the remainder of the contest, and with fellow running back Zamir White (groin) possibly returning against the Rams in Week 7, Laube could remain limited to a special teams role.

He could see more work in the return game than as a ball carrier in his rookie campaign.

Laube rushed four times for eight yards and was targeted once in the passing game during the Raiders' preseason opener against the Vikings. He also returned one kickoff for 16 yards.

Laube didn't tote the rock until the second half in his NFL preseason debut, but he took his first carry for 13 yards before struggling to find much space on each of his final three rushes. Although he left his maiden tilt without a reception, the versatile sixth-round rookie out of New Hampshire continues to be lauded for his pass-catching chops as he looks to carve out a meaningful role in the backfield behind starter Zamir White.
