Miami Marlins vs. Atlanta Braves

Although Ozzie Albies is sidelined with an injury, the Braves projected lineup has hit a .232 ISO and wOBA of .362 against lefties since last season.
They’ll take on Ryan Weathers of the Marlins, who is a lefty that has allowed a .200 ISO and wOBA of .378 to his first 62 right-handed batters. Atlanta has seven righties in the projected lineup, and those righties have hit a .243 ISO against lefties since last season.
Bryce Elder’s Return To The Majors
Although Bryce Elder was an All-Star last season, he struggled in the second half of the year and didn’t even get to start for the Braves this season.
But with Spencer Strider’s injury and the Braves ultimately struggling to find answers in the bottom portion of their starting rotation, they’ll give Elder the ball.
Elder held teams to a .151 ISO last season and induced over 50% of ground balls. He’s got way more potential, especially going up against a Marlins offense that has hit a .136 ISO against righties since last season.
That said, Elder likely won’t go deep in this game and the Marlins are still coming off a solid offensive output yesterday.
