Hawks -8 (-110) @ Mavericks

Who wants to play the Hawks right now? Atlanta has won 10 straight and 11 out of 12 since the All-Star break. Things are clicking on both ends of the floor: The Hawks have averaged 122.9 points per game while limiting opponents to just 104.8 during the stretch.

Meanwhile, Dallas has gone 4-20 since late January while allowing opponents to score over 121 points per game. Since the All-Star break, 10 of their losses have come by nine points or more, including a 124-112 defeat in Atlanta. The Hawks are well-positioned to cover as 8-point favorites on the road.

Nets +19.5 (-110) vs. Thunder

Is this a ridiculous line to bet? Maybe, but there may be value in getting in early with the spread so large. This is the second night of a back-to-back for Oklahoma City, and there’s reason to believe it could rest a few of its key players in a game in which it should have the freedom to do so.

Brooklyn is 17-51 and has lost 13 of its last 15, including four straight. The Nets are simply seeing what they have at this point and are clearly not interested in competing. Despite that, they should be able to avoid losing by 20 if the Thunder opt to lean on their reserves.
