There are two NBA Cup games on Tuesday’s schedule, including Heat @ Magic and Knicks @ Raptors. Let’s dive into the top player props for today.
Paolo Banchero: Over 7.5 Rebounds (+100) vs. Heat
Banchero is still in the process of increasing his workload as he comes back from a 10-game absence, but this remains a relatively easy line for him to clear. In the 11 games prior to his injury, Banchero was averaging 9.1 rebounds over 34.7 minutes per game, and he should be good for at least 28 this evening.
Banchero pulled down 11 boards in an earlier meeting with the Heat this season, and he snagged another six in just 20 minutes in Orlando’s win over Miami on Dec. 5. Overall, he’s hit the over at this mark in eight of his 14 appearances.
Sandro Mamukelashvili: Over 12.5 Points + Rebounds (-132) vs. Knicks
I’m a big believer in Mamu, and he’s finally showing out now that he’s landed in Toronto. The 26-year-old big is averaging a career-high 10 points and 4.4 rebounds per game while knocking down an impressive 38.5% of his looks from 3-point range.
Despite coming off the bench and averaging a little under 20 minutes per game, Mamu has hit the over on this line with points alone in seven out of 24 appearances, with rebounds getting him there in another eight. That’s 15 out of 24 games. I’ll gladly take the over at -132.

There are lots of small details that go into NBA player prop betting. If you still have some questions, read our answers to some common FAQs below.
You might see a player prop abbreviated as PRA. This stands for points, rebounds, and assists and is a combination of the three. To determine whether or not you win this type of bet, you’ll need to add up the player’s points, rebounds, and assists and see if they went over or under the projected total.
If a player is forced to exit a game early, sportsbooks will often void the pick, meaning it doesn’t count as a win or loss. Instead, you’ll simply get your wager returned to you. If the player hits the over on their prop before exiting the game, it will still be graded as a win.
Unless otherwise noted, NBA player props do include overtime. This can be good or bad depending on whether you bet the over or under on a player prop.
If you bet the over and a player doesn’t hit the mark until overtime, it’ll still count as a win for you. However, if you bet the under and a player goes over that mark in overtime, it’ll still count as a loss even though they finished regulation with the under.
