Posts triple-double vs. Washington
Giddey registered 18 points (5-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 12 rebounds, 11 assists, three steals and one block over 34 minutes during the Bulls' 121-120 win over the Wizards on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Giddey recorded his fourth triple-double of the season Saturday and is up to 22 for his NBA career, which surpasses the likes of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kobe Bryant and Kyle Lowry on the NBA's all-time list. Giddey has done a little bit of everything for the Bulls this year, and he has opened the 2025-26 regular season averaging 20.4 points, 10.1 rebounds, 9.7 assists and 1.1 steals over 34.0 minutes per game.
Nov 21, 2025
Flirts with triple-double
Giddey generated 19 points (6-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-9 FT), 11 rebounds and nine assists across 31 minutes of Friday's 143-107 loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Giddey fell one assist shy of his fourth triple-double of the 2024-25 campaign, and his second triple-double of his last four outings. The 23-year-old guard rebounded from a substandard nine-point outing Wednesday against the Trail Blazers, when he went 3-for-9 from the field. In 13 games this season, Giddey is averaging 20.6 points, 9.9 rebounds and 9.6 assists across 33.9 minutes.
Nov 17, 2025
Double-doubles in win
Giddey contributed 21 points (8-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-8 FT), 14 rebounds and six assists across 30 minutes in Monday's 130-127 win over the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Giddey delivered an efficient outing from the field in the second night of the Bulls' back-to-back set and tied the team highs in points and assists. The 23-year-old point guard also grabbed a team-best 14 rebounds en route to his second straight game with a double-double or better. Giddey continues to stuff the stat sheet, and over his last five outings, he has averaged 21.4 points, 11.6 rebounds, 10.2 assists and 1.2 steals in 35.4 minutes per contest.
Nov 17, 2025
Delivers monster triple-double
Giddey ended Sunday's 150-147 double-overtime loss to the Jazz with 26 points (9-21 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 12 rebounds, 13 assists, two blocks and two steals over 42 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey returned from a two-game absence and delivered one of his best outings of the season while posting his third triple-double. With three triple-doubles and four double-doubles across his previous eight appearances, Giddey has been one of the most productive guards in the league from a fantasy perspective. He's averaging a robust line of 22.4 points, 10.6 rebounds and 10.4 assists per game over that eight-game stretch.
Nov 16, 2025
Good to go Sunday
Giddey (ankle) will play Sunday against the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Giddey will shake off his probable tag and is all set to return from a two-game absence. Sunday's game is the front leg of a back-to-back set, however, so the Bulls may be cautious with his minutes. A maintenance day Monday isn't entirely off the table as well.
Nov 15, 2025
Upgraded to probable
Giddey (ankle) is probable for Sunday's game against the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
After missing two games in a row, Giddey appears likely to return against Utah. It's worth mentioning that the Bulls play five times in the span of a week, so fantasy managers may need to be aware of a possible maintenance day or two as the Bulls proceed with caution.
Nov 15, 2025
Practices Saturday
Giddey (ankle) went through Saturday's practice, K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network reports.
ANALYSIS
It's encouraging that Giddey has been able to participate in consecutive practice sessions. The Bulls should provide a designation on his status for Sunday's game against Utah on their injury report later Saturday, but he star guard is trending in the right direction.
Nov 14, 2025
Goes through practice
Giddey (ankle) was a full participant at Friday's practice, Joel Lorenzi of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
After missing the past two games for Chicago, Giddey is trending towards a return against the Jazz on Sunday. That game is the front end of a back-to-back set, however, so the Bulls may monitor his minutes closely if he gets the green light. Additionally, Coby White (calf) logged his first full practice of the season.
Nov 12, 2025
Ruled out for Wednesday
Giddey (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game in Detroit.
ANALYSIS
Giddey will miss his second straight game Wednesday, but the good news is that he was able to participate at shootaround and the Bulls don't play again until Sunday against the Jazz, so there's a chance he'll be able to get back out there for that one. With Giddey on the inactive list Wednesday, Tre Jones, Kevin Huerter and Ayo Dosunmu will be asked to pick up the slack.
Nov 12, 2025
Goes through shootaround
Giddey (ankle) participated in Wednesday's morning shootaround, Joel Lorenzi of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey remains questionable for Wednesday, but his participation at the shootaround bodes well for his status. It's possible the Bulls wait until after warmups before a decision is made, however.
Nov 11, 2025
Questionable for Wednesday
Giddey (ankle) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Giddey missed Monday's game against the Spurs for his first absence of the season. Coach Billy Donovan recently described him as day-to-day, and the questionable tag confirms that. If Giddey is forced to miss another contest, Tre Jones would likely see a usage rate bump with Kevin Huerter and Ayo Dosunmu likely to be more involved as well.
Nov 10, 2025
Won't play Monday
Giddey (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Spurs, K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey will sit out his first game of the season due to a right ankle sprain. He's considered day-to-day and isn't expected to miss significant time. Ayo Dosunmu and Kevin Huerter are candidates to see increased minutes Monday, while Giddey's next opportunity to play comes Wednesday against the Pistons.
Nov 9, 2025
Iffy for Monday
Giddey (ankle) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Giddey sustained a sprained right ankle in the third quarter of Saturday's loss to the Cavaliers, though he was able to check back in and finish the game. If the 23-year-old point guard is ultimately ruled out, Tre Jones, Kevin Huerter and Jevon Carter are candidates to see a bump in minutes. Over his last five games, Giddey has averaged 23.0 points, 10.6 assists, 10.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 36.2 minutes per contest.
Nov 9, 2025
Struggles with shot Saturday
Giddey closed Saturday's 128-122 loss to Cleveland with 15 points (5-18 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), nine rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals in 33 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey saw the end of his six-game streak with either a double-double or a triple-double in this loss, but he came agonizingly close to keeping it alive thanks to his nine rebounds. It wasn't the best game for Giddey, who struggled massively from the floor while also posting his lowest mark in the assists department since late October. Giddey has been one of the most versatile and productive guards in the league in the opening two weeks of the regular season, so fantasy managers should continue to trust him even this game was a bit below his usual standard.
Nov 8, 2025
Returns Saturday
Giddey (ankle) returned to Saturday's game against Cleveland with 3:40 remaining in the third quarter, per the broadcast.
ANALYSIS
Giddey rolled his right ankle and exited to the locker room with 6:03 remaining in the third quarter. However, he returned to the floor shortly thereafter and appears good to go for the remainder of the game.
Nov 8, 2025
Exits to locker room Saturday
Giddey exited to the locker room after sustaining an apparent right ankle injury in the third quarter of Saturday's game against the Cavaliers, K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey limped to the locker room with 6:03 remaining in the third quarter after rolling his ankle. If he's unable to return, Kevin Huerter and Tre Jones are candidates for a bump in minutes the rest of the way.
Nov 8, 2025
Hands out 14 assists Friday
Giddey ended with 16 points (6-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds, 14 assists and one steal across 35 minutes during Friday's 126-110 loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey finished just three rebounds away from recording what would've been a third consecutive triple-double. However, the versatile guard still delivered impressive numbers in the passing column with a 14-assist outing. Giddey's usage rate gives him an outstanding floor on a game-to-game basis. Through eight games, he's averaging 22.3 points, 9.6 rebounds and 9.8 assists per contest. He's also on a run of six consecutive outings with a double-double or triple-double.
Nov 4, 2025
Posts second straight triple-double
Giddey collected 29 points (10-19 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 15 rebounds, 12 assists and one steal in 37 minutes during Tuesday's 113-111 win over the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey turned in a massive night across the board, leading the Bulls in points, rebounds and assists to help squeak out a victory. This marks the guard's second triple-double in as many games, and he's only one assist shy of securing three straight after recording 32 points, 10 boards and nine dimes Friday against the Knicks. Giddey is producing at an incredibly high level through his first seven appearances of the campaign, averaging 23.1 points, 10.1 rebounds, 9.1 assists and 1.0 steals.
Nov 2, 2025
Records triple-double Sunday
Giddey notched 23 points (10-19 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, 12 assists and two steals across 38 minutes in Sunday's 128-116 loss to the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey stuffed the stat sheet en route to his first triple-double of the season. The 23-year-old led the Bulls in points and assists, matching the team-high mark in steals as well. While the fifth-year guard struggled from three-point range Sunday, he's still shooting 40.7 percent from beyond the arc. Giddey has scored 20-plus points in four of his six regular-season appearances, averaging 22.2 points, 9.3 rebounds and 8.7 assists in 33.5 minutes per contest.
Oct 31, 2025
Sniffs triple-double Friday
Giddey finished with 32 points (12-21 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 10 rebounds, nine assists and one steal in 38 minutes during Friday's 135-125 victory over New York.
ANALYSIS
Giddey continued his blistering start to the season, falling one assist short of a triple-double. The Bulls remain undefeated to begin the season, with Giddey leading the charge, averaging 22.0 points, 8.8 rebounds, 8.0 assists, 0.6 steals and 2.0 three-pointers. Outside of his subpar defensive contributions, managers have to be thrilled with what Giddey has served up on a nightly basis. Chicago will look to continue its winning ways when it hosts the Knicks on Sunday.
Oct 30, 2025
Leads Bulls to 4-0 Start
Giddey posted 20 points (7-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-7 FT), eight rebounds and 12 assists over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 126-113 win over Sacramento.
ANALYSIS
Giddey delivered his best passing performance of the season while also scoring 20 points and grabbing eight rebounds. His all-around style of play has spearheaded a 4-0 start for the Bulls. Wednesday marked Giddey's fourth game in a row surpassing 18 points, and his third double-double of the year.
Oct 28, 2025
Double-doubles in win over ATL
Giddey finished Monday's 128-123 victory over the Hawks with 18 points (7-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 13 rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal across 33 minutes.
ANALYSIS
This was Giddey's first points-rebounds, double-double of the season, in addition to being his most efficient scoring performance of the year. Through the first three games of the season, Giddey has compiled averages of 19.3 points on 43.2 percent shooting to go with 8.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.7 triples per contest.
Oct 27, 2025
Cleared to play Monday
Giddey (finger) is available for Monday's game against the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey will shed his questionable tag due to a sprained right finger and suit up Monday. The 23-year-old point guard has averaged 20.0 points, 7.0 assists and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 42.9 percent from beyond the arc in 30.2 minutes per contest through two regular-season games.
Oct 26, 2025
Questionable for Monday
Giddey (finger) is questionable for Monday's game against the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey is nursing a right finger injury that puts his availability for Monday's matchup in doubt. The 23-year-old has been highly productive to start the season, averaging 20.0 points, 7.0 assists and 6.5 rebounds across the Bulls' first two contests. If he's unable to go, Ayo Dosunmu and Kevin Huerter could be in line for expanded roles.
Oct 25, 2025
Nearly secures double-double
Giddey provided 21 points (7-18 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Saturday's 110-98 victory over Orlando.
ANALYSIS
Giddey served as one of Chicago's top scoring options Saturday night, leading the team with 21 points. He also made an impact on the glass, falling just two rebounds shy of his second double-double of the 2025-26 campaign. It's still early in the season, but Giddey has already shown that he can provide fantasy value across the board on a nightly basis.
Oct 23, 2025
Dominant in win
Giddey finished Wednesday's 115-111 win over Detroit with 19 points (5-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 8-11 FT), five rebounds, 11 assists and one block across 29 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey signed a four-year, $100 million extension in September after months of negotiation, but he knew his worth and put that on display Wednesday as he led the Bulls to a win on Opening Night. Giddey projects to be a nightly triple-double threat as Chicago's lead playmaker, and he's likely to see a short-term bump in usage until Coby White (ankle) is cleared to return.
Oct 14, 2025
Paces Chicago in preseason loss
Giddey recorded 25 points (7-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 8-8 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and one block across 29 minutes in Tuesday's 124-117 preseason loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Giddey led the Bulls in scoring and was one of six Chicago players to reach double figures. The 6-foot-8 point guard delivered a well-rounded performance in Chicago's penultimate preseason matchup, tying the team-high in assists and finishing as the Bulls' second-leading rebounder. Giddey signed a four-year, $100 million extension in September and is expected to handle significant playmaking and scoring responsibilities in his second season with Chicago.
Oct 10, 2025
Productive in 22 minutes
Giddey finished with 14 points (5-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and three turnovers across 22 minutes of Thursday's 119-112 preseason win over the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was sidelined by an ankle issue early on in camp, but he has since appeared in two straight preseason contests. Fresh off a four-year, $100 million contract extension, Giddey is poised to be a nightly triple-double threat with him and Coby White (calf) expected to dominate the touches in Chicago this campaign.
Oct 3, 2025
Returns to full practice
Giddey (ankle) was a full participant at Friday's practice, Joel Lorenzi of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey said his absence from Thursday's practice was precautionary and that his ankle is good. "I just tweaked it a little bit, stepped on someone's foot," the guard said. Chicago's preseason opener is scheduled for Oct. 7 against Cleveland.
Oct 2, 2025
Tweaks ankle in practice
Giddey was held from running in Thursday's practice after tweaking an ankle Tuesday, Joel Lorenzi of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey's ankle injury doesn't appear to be severe, as he still went through practice. The team's first preseason game will take place Oct. 7 against the Cavaliers in Cleveland. During his first season with the squad during the 2024-25 campaign, the 22-year-old guard played 70 regular-season games, averaging 14.6 points per game and career-high numbers in rebounds (8.1), assists (7.2) and steals (1.2) while shooting 46.5 percent from the field and a career-best 37.8 percent from deep.
Sep 9, 2025
Lands $100 million extension
Giddey and the Bulls agreed to a four-year, $100 million contract extension Tuesday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
ANALYSIS
After months of going back and forth, the two sides finally got something done ahead of training camp. Giddey was initially seeking $30 million annually, but the Bulls were looking to keep him around $20 million per season. Eventually, they met in the middle, locking up the point guard through the 2028-29 season. Giddey enjoyed a breakout campaign with the Bulls in 2024-25, scoring 14.6 points with career-highs in rebounds (8.1), assists (7.2) and steals (1.2).
Apr 12, 2025
Remaining out Sunday
Giddey (forearm) won't play in Sunday's game versus the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey will miss his second straight contest Sunday due to right flexor carpi ulnaris tendinopathy. Jevon Carter and Julian Phillips should continue to receive increased playing time in his absence. Giddey's next chance to suit up is Wednesday's Play-In game against Miami.
Apr 11, 2025
Not playing Friday
Giddey (forearm) is out for Friday's game against the Wizards, K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey will sit out a game for the second time in Chicago's last three contests, and the Bulls will hope the injury won't be severe enough so he can be at full speed for the upcoming Play-In Tournament. Julian Phillips will start in place of Giddey on Friday.
Apr 11, 2025
Iffy for Friday
Giddey is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Wizards due to right flexor carpi ulnaris tendinopathy.
ANALYSIS
Giddey logged 40 minutes in Chicago's previous contest but could miss another game Friday due to a forearm issue. If Giddey is unable to suit up against Washington, Jevon Carter will likely receive increased playing time.
Apr 9, 2025
Drops massive triple-double
Giddey amassed 28 points (11-19 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 16 rebounds, 11 assists, three blocks and two steals in 40 minutes during Wednesday's 119-111 win over Miami.
ANALYSIS
Giddey notched his seventh triple-double of the 2024-25 campaign, totaling his second most rebounds in a game this season. The 22-year-old has been outstanding during the back half of the regular season, averaging 21.2 points, 10.7 rebounds, 9.3 assists and 1.4 steals across 33.9 minutes spanning his last 19 appearances.
Apr 9, 2025
Upgraded to available
Giddey (forearm) is available for Wednesday's game against the Heat, Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The Bulls had several players listed as questionable for this matchup, and Giddey is among the regulars who will be active Wednesday in what figures to be a key matchup in the seeding race in the Eastern Conference. Giddey has been one of the best players for the Bulls in recent weeks. He's averaging 19.8 points, 10.2 rebounds and 9.4 assists per game across 13 contests since the beginning of March.
Apr 9, 2025
Listed as questionable
Giddey (forearm) is questionable for Wednesdays game against Miami.
ANALYSIS
Giddey missed the front end of the club's back-to-back set due to right forearm tendinopathy Tuesday, presumably to be ready for Wednesday's matchup. Coby White (rest) has the green light to return, while Kevin Huerter (neck) remains questionable.
Apr 8, 2025
Won't suit up Tuesday
Giddey (forearm) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey will miss the front end of the club's back-to-back set due to right forearm tendinopathy. His next chance to suit up will come Wednesday against the Heat. Talen Horton-Tucker and Dalen Terry are candidates for an uptick in playing time due to Giddey being sidelined.
Apr 7, 2025
Iffy for Tuesday
Giddey (forearm) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
The Bulls are likely going to be very shorthanded for the front end of this back-to-back set, and Giddey is a candidate to be held out for maintenance for a mild arm issue. Coby White will be rested, Kevin Huerter (neck) and Lonzo Ball (wrist) are out, and Nikola Vucevic (rest) is questionable. Fantasy managers can assume that Giddey will likely play in one game of this back-to-back set at most.
Apr 6, 2025
All-around showing in victory
Giddey racked up 23 points (7-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 10 rebounds, eight assists and one steal across 34 minutes during Sunday's 131-117 victory over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Giddey did a little bit of everything for Chicago in Sunday's contest, leading all Bulls in assists while finishing second on the team in scoring and rebounds in a near triple-double performance. Giddey has posted at least 20 points, 10 boards and eight dimes on five occasions, including in two of his last six contests.
Apr 5, 2025
Triple-double against Blazers
Giddey registered 15 points (4-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-9 FT), 19 rebounds and 12 assists over 39 minutes during Friday's 118-113 victory over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
It's the sixth triple-double of the season for Giddey, and the 17th of his career. Three of them have come in the last seven games despite some nagging injuries, and Giddey is averaging 17.3 points, 10.7 assists, 10.4 boards, 2.0 steals and 1.3 threes over that span.
Apr 1, 2025
Will play against Raptors
Giddey (hip) is available for Tuesday's game against Toronto, K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey will shake off a questionable tag to suit up Tuesday, and he should be able to handle his normal workload. The 2021 first-rounder surged in the month of March, having averaged 20.3 points, 9.6 rebounds, 9.0 assists and 1.5 steals in 33.1 minutes over 10 games last month.
Apr 1, 2025
Questionable vs. Toronto
Giddey (hip) has been listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
After coming two rebounds shy of a triple-double in Monday's loss to the Thunder, Giddey is in danger of missing Tuesday's game against Toronto. If the talented young guard is ruled out, the Bulls could turn to Jevon Carter, Dalen Terry and Talen Horton-Tucker to help shoulder the load in the backcourt.
Apr 1, 2025
Sniffs triple-double
Giddey provided 15 points (6-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds, 10 assists and one steal across 28 minutes during Monday's 145-117 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Giddey didn't have his best shooting performance, but that won't matter much for fantasy managers as long as he continues to fill the stat sheet on a regular basis. Giddey finished just two boards shy of recording what would've been his third triple-double over his last five outings, and the Australian guard is ending the season on a really strong note as the Bulls continue their push for a playoff berth. Over his last five outings, Giddey is averaging 17.8 points, 9.4 rebounds, 10.2 assists and 2.2 steals per contest.
Mar 31, 2025
Good to go Monday
Giddey (hip) said he will play Monday against the Thunder, K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was listed as questionable for right hip soreness and injury management, but he participated and shootaround and will give it a go against his former team. There's a chance he could be held out for maintenance Tuesday against the Raptors, however.
Mar 30, 2025
Iffy for Monday
Giddey is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Thunder due to right hip soreness and injury management.
ANALYSIS
The hip soreness is a new concern for Giddey, who has played in each of the club's last four outings. The 22-year-old has averaged 18.5 points, 10.3 assists, 9.8 rebounds and 2.5 steals across 34.0 minutes per contest in that four-game span. If Giddey is sidelined against Oklahoma City, Dalen Terry and Julian Phillips are candidates for a bump in playing time.
Mar 27, 2025
Posts impressive triple-double
Giddey produced 25 points (8-19 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 5-9 FT), 14 rebounds, 11 assists and two steals across 40 minutes during Thursday's 119-117 win over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey showed up in a big way across the board Thursday, finishing the game second in scoring behind Coby White while leading the team in rebounds and assists on the way to his second triple-double in eight March appearances. His sparkling night was capped off by a half-court shot at the buzzer to bring home the victory, which took place immediately after LA scored the go-ahead layup with only 3.1 seconds remaining. As long as Giddey is able to keep his ankle in good health, he should be in prime position to contribute for fantasy managers down the stretch of the regular season.
Mar 27, 2025
Will play vs. LAL
Giddey (forearm) has been cleared to play in Thursday's game against the Lakers, Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey is dealing with a forearm injury, but that won't keep him off the floor Thursday against Los Angeles. The talented guard came two steals shy of a quadruple-double in the Bulls' last matchup against the Lakers, so he'll be crucial to the team's attempt to get a second straight win against LeBron James' squad in Chicago.
Mar 26, 2025
Questionable for Thursday
Giddey (forearm) has been listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey is dealing with a forearm injury, which could keep him off the floor Thursday against the Lakers in Chicago. The 22-year-old guard is coming off impressive back-to-back performances after coming two steals shy of a quadruple-double in Los Angeles and following that up with 26 points, nine assists and seven rebounds in Monday's win against the Nuggets.
Mar 25, 2025
Strikes for 26 in Monday's win
Giddey ended with 26 points (8-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 8-10 FT), seven rebounds, nine assists and one block in 36 minutes during Monday's 129-119 victory over Denver.
ANALYSIS
After nearly posting a quadruple-double Saturday, Giddey stayed productive with a near triple-double Monday. The fourth-year guard has been in and out of the lineup in March due to ankle trouble, but in his seven appearances this month he's averaged 22.1 points, 9.4 boards, 9.3 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.4 threes while shooting 54.5 percent from the floor and 40.0 percent from beyond the arc.
Mar 23, 2025
Makes history Saturday
Giddey finished Saturday's 146-115 win over the Lakers with 15 points (5-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 10 rebounds, 17 assists and eight steals across 33 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey became the first player in NBA history with this kind of stat line, and the veteran could've had a realistic shot at recording the quadruple-double hadn't the Bulls run the Lakers out of the court with an impressive 31-point victory. Giddey has been limited to just six appearances in March due to injuries, but he looked healthy in this contest and should continue to play a prominent role on offense for Chicago as long as he stays healthy.
Mar 21, 2025
Not on injury report
Giddey (ankle) is not on the injury report for Saturday's game against the Lakers on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Giddey missed the 128-116 win over the Kings on Thursday and hasn't played in four of the Bulls' last five games. However, the fact that he's not on the injury report suggests he should be ready to go, and possibly return to the first unit, Saturday. Giddey is averaging 22.8 points, 9.8 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game since the beginning of March, so his return to action would be a huge boost for Chicago.
Mar 20, 2025
Won't go vs. Sacramento
Giddey (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Giddey looked strong in his first game back from an ankle injury Wednesday against the Suns, and the team will exercise caution by holding him out Thursday, per K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network. "We fully expect him to play next game," said head coach Billy Donovan. Kevin Huerter should see more chances Thursday in Giddey's absence.
Mar 20, 2025
Questionable Thursday
Giddey (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Kings.
ANALYSIS
After a strong all-around performance in Wednesday's loss to the Suns, Giddey could end up missing the second game of a back-to-back for Chicago on Thursday in Sacramento. Kevin Huerter will likely see more time on the floor if the 22-year-old guard can't play against the Kings.
Mar 20, 2025
Returns with 22-point effort
Giddey closed Wednesday's 127-121 loss to Phoenix with 22 points (10-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt), seven rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals in 31 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey logged 31 minutes and showed no ill effects from the ankle injury that produced a three-game absence. Kevin Huerter performed admirably while Giddey was out, but he will likely retreat back to the second unit if Giddey is able to complete the back-to-back. the Bulls are still playoff contenders, so Giddey's return to action will give the offense a much-needed boost.

Listed as doubtful
Giddey (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Saturday's game against Houston.
ANALYSIS

Mar 13, 2025
Will travel Saturday

Donovan relayed that there is still some swelling, though Giddey isn't in as much pain anymore, per Cody Westerlund of 670TheScore.com. ANALYSIS

Mar 10, 2025
Exits with lower-body injury
Giddey left Monday's game against the Pacers due to an apparent lower-body injury, Tony East of WTHR Channel 13 Indianapolis reports.

ANALYSIS
Giddey has been playing at a very high level since the end of the All-Star break, and he notched his first triple-double since Dec. 28, when he posted 23 points, 15 boards and 10 assists in a win over the Bucks. He had ended just one dime away from reaching this feat in a win over the Magic on Thursday, and his numbers are undoubtedly impressive. Mar 6, 2025
Set to play against Orlando
Giddey (quadriceps) is listed as available for Thursday's game versus the Magic.

Mar 5, 2025
Questionable for Thursday
Giddey (quadriceps) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Giddey missed his first game since Dec. 26 on Tuesday against Cleveland, but the point forward remains day-to-day. If Giddey is held out for a second straight game, Tre Jones could be poised for another start. Against the Cavaliers, Jones produced nine points, eight rebounds, seven assists and one block in 34 minutes.
Mar 4, 2025
Won't play Tuesday
Giddey (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against Cleveland, K.C. Johnson of Chicago Sports Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The left quadriceps contusion is a new injury for Giddey, who will miss his first outing since Dec. 26. With the 22-year-old joining Lonzo Ball (wrist) and Kevin Huerter (knee) on the sideline, Jevon Carter, Talen Horton-Tucker and Tre Jones are candidates for an uptick in playing time. Giddey's next chance to play will come Thursday against Orlando.
Mar 3, 2025
Working through quad bruise
Giddey (quadriceps) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS

ANALYSIS

Giddey put up 19 points (7-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds, eight assists, one steal and one block in 40 minutes of action during Friday's 125-115 overtime win over the Raptors, falling two assists short of his third triple-double of the campaign.

Flirts with triple-double in win

ANALYSIS
The fourth-year guard has been on an absolute tear since the All-Star break, averaging 23.2 points, 11.2 boards and 8.8 assists in five games back. Friday's outing against the Raptors was no different, as Giddey logged his 19th double-double of the year and fell just two assists short of a triple-double. Although most of his production came in the first half, he was able to turn in an extremely well-rounded performance nonetheless. He's expected to take the court Sunday against the Pacers despite nursing a left ankle sprain.
Mar 1, 2025
Likely to play Sunday
Giddey is listed as probable for Sunday's game versus the Pacers due to a left ankle sprain.
ANALYSIS
Giddey hasn't missed a game since Dec. 26 and isn't expected to do so Sunday despite dealing with a sprained ankle. In 11 games since the beginning of February, Giddey is converting 53.6 percent of his 5.1 three-point attempts per contest.
Feb 27, 2025
Teases triple-double in loss
Giddey totaled 21 points (8-14 FG, 4-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, 12 assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 122-117 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
The fourth-year guard nearly put together his third triple-double of the season, but instead he had to settle for his fourth straight double-double since the All-Star break. Giddey has also scored more than 20 points in each of those contests, averaging 24.3 points, 12.0 boards, 8.0 assists, 3.5 threes, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks while shooting 57.9 percent from the floor and a stunning 77.8 percent (14-for-18) from long distance.
Feb 24, 2025
Dominant double-double in win
Giddey finished with 25 points (8-11 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 16 rebounds, six assists, three blocks and one steal across 31 minutes during Monday's 142-110 win over the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey recorded his 17th outing of the season with a double-double or better, stuffing the stat sheet in a dominant victory. Additionally, the 22-year-old has logged three consecutive double-doubles, putting up 16 rebounds in two of those three outings. The fourth-year guard's three swats against the Sixers also tied his season-high mark, and he has racked up multiple blocks in seven outings during the 2024-25 campaign.
Feb 22, 2025
Near triple-double Saturday
Giddey notched 24 points (6-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 9-9 FT), eight rebounds, 10 assists, one block and three steals in 35 minutes during Saturday's 121-117 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Giddey registered a double-double for a second straight game and for the 17th time this season, and he was two rebounds shy from logging his third triple-double. He continues to power the Bulls' offense following the trade of Zach LaVine to the Kings. Giddey has averaged 19.1 points on 48.1 percent shooting (including 48.8 percent from three on 5.4 3PA/G), 7.1 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks over 31.4 minutes per game since the beginning of February.
Feb 22, 2025
Good to go Saturday
Giddey (wrist) is available for Saturday's game against the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was listed on the injury report due to a sprained right writs, but the injury isn't severe enough to be held out of Saturday's contest. He's averaged 18.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks over 31.0 minutes per game since the beginning of February.
Feb 21, 2025
Likely to play against Phoenix
Giddey is listed as probable for Saturday's game versus the Suns due to a sprained right wrist.
ANALYSIS
Giddey is expected to suit up Saturday despite dealing with a wrist injury. Giddey has been scorching the nets from behind the arc as of late, converting 44.0 percent of his 5.0 three-point attempts per contest across his last 10 appearances.
Feb 21, 2025
Best performance this season
Giddey accumulated 27 points (11-18 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 16 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 34 minutes during Thursday's 113-111 overtime loss to the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey posted season-high marks in points and rebounds this season, and he finished quite close to establishing career-best numbers in both categories. Giddey has embraced a bigger role on offense following the departure of Zach LaVine, who was traded to the Kings before the deadline, and he's scored at least 17 points in five of his seven outings this month. He's averaging 18.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game in seven February contests.
Feb 13, 2025
Pops for 17 points in loss
Giddey racked up 17 points (4-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 6-8 FT), two rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 128-110 loss to the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Giddey scored double-digits for the 12th straight game, continuing one of the better offensive stretches of his career. He also recorded at least one steal for the eighth time in the past nine games, an element of his game that appears to have improved this season. Through 51 games, the young Aussie is averaging 12.1 points and 7.1 rebounds to go with 6.4 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.3 three-pointers, all of which are career-high numbers.
Feb 5, 2025
Pops for 24 in Tuesday's win
Giddey provided 24 points (8-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 6-8 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Tuesday's 133-124 victory over the Heat.
ANALYSIS
The fourth-year guard continues to roll, tying Matas Buzelis for the team scoring lead on the night. Giddey has scored in double digits in eight straight games, his longest such streak since the first eight games of the season, and over that latest stretch he's averaging 15.6 points, 7.8 boards, 6.5 assists, 1.8 threes and 1.3 steals while shooting 51.1 percent from the floor. With Zach LaVine now in Sacramento and Nikola Vucevic potentially the next veteran to head out the door, Giddey's usage and shot volume seem set to keep rising.
Feb 3, 2025
Double-doubles in loss
Giddey amassed 20 points (7-17 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists and three steals across 36 minutes during Sunday's 127-119 loss to Detroit.
ANALYSIS
Giddey racked up his 15th double-double of the season in the losing effort. With the Bulls moving on from Zach LaVine, lines like these could become the norm for Giddey as he steps into a larger role in the offense. The Bulls did acquire another guard in Tre Jones, but it's likely that he plays a minor role with the second unit.
Feb 1, 2025
Stuffs stat sheet
Giddey registered 15 points (6-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and two blocks in 31 minutes during Friday's 122-106 victory over the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Giddey reached the 15-point mark following three straight games in which he couldn't reach that mark. Looking at things from a more positive aspect, though, he's now scored in double digits in six straight contests, averaging 13.5 points, 7.7 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game in that stretch.
Jan 26, 2025
Struggles from field Saturday
Giddey ended Saturday's 109-97 loss to Philadelphia with 10 points (4-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 10 rebounds and seven assists across 38 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey might have ended only three assists away from a triple-double, so his performance on the surface was decent in a game where the Bulls suffered a 12-point defeat. However, he struggled badly from the floor and made only four of his 13 shots. Giddey has five double-doubles and one triple-double across his last 10 games, a span in which he's averaging 9.7 points, 9.1 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 42.2 percent from the floor and 35.5 percent from deep.
Jan 24, 2025
Second straight double-double
Giddey produced 16 points (6-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 34 minutes during Thursday's 131-106 loss to the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Giddey scored in double digits and grabbed double-digit boards for the second consecutive contest, and he seems to be leaving behind a stretch in which he scored in single digits in four consecutive outings between Jan. 14 and Jan. 19. Giddey brings value across all formats due to his ability to fill the stat sheet on any given game, but his scoring numbers have been subpar of late. He's recorded single-digit points in six of his last 10 appearances.
Jan 21, 2025
Just misses triple-double Monday
Giddey finished with 18 points (7-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, nine assists and one steal in 40 minutes during Monday's 112-99 win over the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
With fellow guards Coby White (ankle) and Ayo Dosunmu (calf) sidelined Monday, Giddey dished out a team-high nine assists while coming just one dime short of a triple-double. It was also Giddey's highest scoring output since Dec. 28, and his 40 minutes were a season high. Although the former first-rounder tends to run hot and cold, the versatile Giddey shouldn't struggle to put counting stats for the Bulls going forward.
Jan 18, 2025
Meager results in narrow loss
Giddey provided six points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt), five rebounds and five assists in 26 minutes during Friday's 125-123 loss to the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Although Giddey has posted a few double-digit scoring totals this month, he's experienced a regression in January. Through nine games, Giddey is averaging 8.9 points per game, three points lower than his average leading up to the new year. His secondary numbers are still consistent, but he's converting only 38.1 percent of his shots this month and needs improvement to remain a viable fantasy candidate.
Jan 17, 2025
Available for Friday
Giddey (hip) is available for Friday's game against the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was upgraded from questionable to probable earlier in the day, and now has the green light to suit up. Zach LaVine (illness) was a late addition to the injury report with a questionable tag, meaning Giddey could potentially see more usage.
Jan 17, 2025
Now expected to play Friday
Giddey (hip) is listed as probable for Friday's game versus the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has been upgraded from questionable to probable Friday despite dealing with right hip soreness. Chicago's typical starting backcourt of Giddey and Coby White (neck) are both expected to suit up against Charlotte.
Jan 16, 2025
Iffy for Friday
Giddey is questionable for Friday's game against the Hornets with right hip soreness.
ANALYSIS
This appears to be a new issue for Giddey, but the questionable tag means he's likely day-to-day. He's played at least 30 minutes in four straight games, so the Bulls would potentially need Lonzo Ball or Ayo Dosunmu to soak up some minutes if Giddey can't give it a go.
Jan 15, 2025
Sniffs triple-double Tuesday
Giddey had seven points (2-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, 12 assists, one block and four steals over 34 minutes during Tuesday's 119-113 loss to the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
The fourth-year guard came with a three-pointer of his 14th career triple-double. Giddey has been making a bigger impact on the glass since returning from an ankle injury in late December, averaging 11.4 points, 10.2 boards, 6.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.2 threes over his last nine games, but his offensive impact has been muted by 39.0 percent shooting from the floor and a 31.4 percent mark from long distance. The Bulls could deal away veterans like Zach Lavine and Nikola Vucevic at the trade deadline, but they'll need Giddey's efficiency to improve if he's going to emerge as one of the foundation pieces of the roster afterward.
Jan 11, 2025
Comes close to triple-double
Giddey registered 12 points (5-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt), 13 rebounds, seven assists and three steals over 32 minutes during Friday's 138-105 victory over the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic led the Bulls in this offensive outburst against the Wizards, but Giddey made his presence felt as well and finished just three assists away from recording a triple-double. Even though Giddey has a secondary role in the scoring column and regularly operates as the fourth option on offense, he delivers consistent, solid fantasy value due to his ability to stuff the stat sheet. Giddey is averaging 12.0 points, 9.9 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.4 steals per game across his previous seven contests.
Jan 2, 2025
Struggles on New Year's Day
Giddey supplied six points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 26 minutes during Wednesday's 125-107 loss to the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Giddey and the rest of the Bulls struggled Wednesday. The six-point outing broke Giddey's streak of four games with double-digit scoring. His two assists were his second-lowest mark of the year, and his five turnovers tied his season high in what was ultimately one of his worst performances of the season. The team will get some time off before facing the Knicks on Saturday.
Dec 30, 2024
Will play against Charlotte
Giddey (ankle) is available for Monday's game against the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Giddey returned from a four-game absence Saturday due to a right ankle sprain, and he finished with a 23-point triple-double in a 116-111 win over the Bucks. In his first season with the Bulls, Giddey is averaging 12.3 points, 7.0 assists, 6.7 rebounds and 1.0 steals over 27.2 minutes per game.
Dec 29, 2024
Probable for Monday
Giddey (ankle) is listed as probable for Monday's game against the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Giddey returned from a four-game absence due to the right ankle sprain in Saturday's win over the Bucks, during which he posted 23 points (9-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 15 rebounds, 10 assists, one block and one steal in 29 minutes. The 22-year-old will likely give it a go Monday, but if he suffers any setbacks, Talen Horton-Tucker and Lonzo Ball should pick up the slack.
Dec 28, 2024
Triple-double in return
Giddey chipped in 23 points (9-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 15 rebounds, 10 assists, one block and one steal in 29 minutes during Saturday's 116-111 victory over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey had missed the Bulls' last four games due to an ankle injury. He returned in style Saturday with his second triple-double of the regular season, and he sank two free throws with 10 seconds left in the fourth quarter to give the Bulls a four-point lead. Giddey's efforts helped Chicago snap a three-game losing streak, and he'll look to carry his momentum into Monday's game against Charlotte.
Dec 28, 2024
Suiting up Saturday
Giddey (ankle) is available to play Saturday against the Bucks, Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey is set to return following a four-game absence due to an ankle injury, and he should handle his regular workload in the backcourt now that he's been deemed available. Giddey is averaging 11.9 points, 6.9 assists and 6.4 rebounds per game across 27 starts this season.
Dec 27, 2024
Iffy for Saturday
Giddey (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey is trending in the right direction after missing four games with an ankle injury. The Bulls haven't had much luck lately, with Lonzo Ball (illness) also missing the last two games, which has taken a toll on the team's backcourt. Talen Horton-Tucker could see more time on the floor due to Giddey's potential absence.
Dec 26, 2024
Ruled out Thursday
Giddey (ankle) is out for Thursday's game against the Hawks, Chuck Swirsky of the Bulls Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was initially listed as questionable for Thursday, but the floor general didn't recover in time and won't suit up for this contest. This means the Bulls will be quite depleted in their backcourt, as Lonzo Ball (illness) and Ayo Dosunmu (Achilles) have been ruled out as well. The Bulls will hope Giddey doesn't miss a lot of time, with the team's next game coming Saturday against the Bucks.
Dec 25, 2024
Questionable for Thursday
Giddey (ankle) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has missed three straight games due to a right ankle sprain after initially being listed as questionable, so the designation for Thursday doesn't bring much optimism. Lonzo Ball (illness) is doubtful and Ayo Dosunmu (Achilles) is questionable, so the Bulls are in danger of being extremely shorthanded in the backcourt against Trae Young and the Hawks.
Dec 23, 2024
Won't play Monday vs. Bucks
Giddey (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Milwaukee, Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey will miss a third straight game due to a right ankle sprain, and his next opportunity to play will be Thursday against the Hawks. With Lonzo Ball (illness) also ruled out, Ayo Dosunmu and Talen Horton-Tucker are candidates to see more playing time Monday.
Dec 22, 2024
Iffy to play Monday
Giddey (ankle) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has missed the Bulls' last two games due to a right ankle sprain. Talen Horton-Tucker, Ayo Dosunmu and Lonzo Ball would be in line for more playing time Monday if Giddey is unable to play.
Dec 21, 2024
Won't face Celtics
Giddey (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Boston, Cody Westerlund of 670TheScore.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey will miss a second straight game due to a sprained right ankle. His absence should leave more minutes for Lonzo Ball, Ayo Dosunmu and Talen Horton-Tucker. Giddey's next chance to play will come Monday against Milwaukee.
Dec 20, 2024
Questionable to play Saturday
Giddey (ankle) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against Boston.
ANALYSIS
Giddey missed his first game of the regular season Thursday against the Celtics due to a right ankle injury. Lonzo Ball, Talen-Horton Tucker and Julian Phillips would be in line to see increased minutes off the bench if Giddey is unable to play Saturday.
Dec 19, 2024
Won't play Thursday
Giddey (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Celtics, Julia Poe of the Chicago Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey is slated to miss his first matchup of the season while he deals with a right ankle injury. With the 22-year-old sidelined, Talen Horton-Tucker could see an uptick in playing time. Giddey's next chance to play will come Saturday against Boston, though there is currently no timetable for his return, as he has yet to return to running.
Dec 18, 2024
Questionable to face Boston
Giddey (ankle) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Celtics, Julia Poe of the Chicago Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey left Monday's game against the Raptors with a right ankle injury and was unable to practice Wednesday. While the questionable tag means there's an outside chance he might be available, that seems like an unlikely scenario for the floor general. Talen Horton-Tucker and Lonzo Ball should see more minutes if Giddey is unable to go Thursday.
Dec 16, 2024
Shut down with ankle injury
Giddey won't return to Monday's game against the Raptors after suffering a right ankle injury, Julia Poe of the Chicago Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
The team has yet to comment on the severity of Giddey's injury, though more information should come to light over the next day or so after imaging has taken place. Giddey's absence will free up more minutes for Lonzo Ball, Ayo Dosunmu and Talen Horton-Tucker the rest of the way Monday.
Dec 16, 2024
Limps to locker room
Giddey went to the locker room during Monday's game against the Raptors due to an apparent ankle injury, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey exited the game halfway through the third quarter after appearing to roll his ankle on a closeout of an opposing shooter. He'll be taken to the back for additional testing to determine whether a return is on the table Monday.
Dec 13, 2024
Available Friday
Giddey (back) is available for Friday's game against the Hornets, Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey will keep his streak of perfect attendance alive after previously having been listed as questionable due to low back spasms. Over his last five outings, the 22-year-old guard has averaged 10.2 points, 8.2 assists, 7.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals across 27.6 minutes per contest.
Dec 12, 2024
Dealing with back spasms
Giddey (back) is questionable for Friday's game against the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has been dealing with a back injury over the last few days, but the recent signs are encouraging. The back injury, which was initially described as tightness, caused him to leave Wednesday's practice early and held him out of Thursday's session. However, all signs point to him being able to play Friday. Giddey has yet to miss a game this season. He's averaging 11.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game over his last 10 contests.
Dec 12, 2024
Expected to play Friday
Giddey (back) was held out of practice Thursday, but feels much better and is expected to play Friday, Julia Poe of the Chicago Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey left Wednesday's practice with tightness in his back, and even though he did not practice Thursday, him being expected to play Friday is an encouraging sign that the injury he is dealing with is minor. He is averaging 11.7 points, 6.9 assists, 6.2 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.4 blocks across 27.0 minutes so far this season.
Dec 11, 2024
Leaves practice early
Giddey left Wednesday's practice early with back tightness, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
This sounds like a minor issue for Giddey, but it's worth monitoring ahead of Friday's game against Charlotte. Until more information is known, fantasy managers can operate under the assumption that Giddey is probable for that contest.
Dec 8, 2024
All-around showcase in loss
Giddey totaled nine points (4-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt), seven rebounds, 11 assists, one block and two steals across 32 minutes during Sunday's 108-100 loss to the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey did a little bit of everything for Chicago in Sunday's contest, leading all Bulls players in assists while ending second on the team in rebounds and one point short of the double-digit mark in a balanced performance. Giddey posted his fourth outing of the season with 10 or more dimes, accompanying those performances with at least nine points and five boards in all four instances.
Dec 6, 2024
Available Friday
Giddey (foot) is listed as available for Friday's game against the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was a late addition to the injury report due to right foot soreness, though he'll play Friday and keep his streak of perfect attendance alive. The 22-year-old averaged 11.2 points, 7.4 assists, 6.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals across 25.8 minutes per contest in his last five appearances.
Dec 6, 2024
Probable Friday
Giddey (foot) is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was a late addition to the injury report due to right foot soreness, though he is likely to suit up Friday. If the 22-year-old is sidelined, Ayo Dosunmu and Talen Horton-Tucker should pick up the slack, especially with Coby White (ankle) and Lonzo Ball (knee) questionable for the contest.
Dec 5, 2024
Available to play Thursday
Giddey (ankle) is available for Thursday's game against the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was dealing with a right ankle sprain, but the Australian guard will suit up and should handle his regular workload in the Bulls' backcourt. Giddey is coming off his first triple-double of the season, posting 20 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists, one steal and one block in a 128-102 win over the Nets on Monday. Giddey should experience a high usage rate considering Chicago will be missing both Coby White (ankle) and Lonzo Ball (knee).
Dec 4, 2024
Questionable for Thursday
Giddey is questionable for Thursday's matchup against the Spurs due to a sprained right ankle.
ANALYSIS
Giddey is coming off his first triple-double of the season, posting 20 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists, one steal and one block in a 128-102 win over the Nets. Coby White (ankle) and Lonzo Ball (knee) have already been ruled out, so the Bulls could be especially shorthanded in the backcourt if Giddey is also shelved.
Dec 2, 2024
First triple-double with Chicago
Giddey recorded 20 points (9-17 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 13 rebounds, 11 assists, one steal and one block in 32 minutes during Monday's 128-102 win over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Giddey struggled with his shot from range, but that's about the only area he struggled in Monday evening. He secured his first triple-double since joining the Bulls and posted his best scoring performance since Oct. 30, when he put up 20 points vs. Orlando. Monday's showing was a positive sign for the 22-year-old, who was held to a season-low four points in his previous appearance Friday against Boston.
Nov 21, 2024
Inefficient performance in loss
Giddey posted five points (2-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt), four rebounds and three assists over 26 minutes in Wednesday's 122-106 loss to Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has been inefficient offensively to start the season, shooting just 40.6 percent from the field and 35.6 percent from three, but he is averaging 11.8 points, 6.4 assists, 6.2 rebounds, 0.7 blocks and 0.2 blocks across 27.2 minutes. If his shot isn't falling, Giddey will look to get his other teammates involved, and his next opportunity to bounce back will be Friday against Atlanta.
Nov 18, 2024
Notches third double-double
Giddey finished Monday's 122-112 win over Detroit with 11 points (5-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt), eight rebounds and 10 assists over 29 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was somewhat efficient on the offensive end and scored in double figures for the first time in a week. He also put together his best passing performance since Nov. 7, good enough for his third double-double of the 2024-25 campaign. There should be plenty of opportunities to rack up assists for Giddey moving forward, at least while Nikola Vucevic, Zach LaVine and Coby White all continue to play at a high level.
Nov 12, 2024
Stuffs stat sheet Monday
Giddey recorded 18 points (7-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal across 31 minutes during Monday's 119-113 loss to Cleveland.
ANALYSIS
Giddey recorded at least one tally in each of the five major categories and was efficient from the field. Unfortunately, he came up short of recording a double-double by just two boards and three dimes. Giddey is enjoying a strong start to the season with Chicago and is averaging 12.7 points, 8.0 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game since the beginning of November.
Nov 10, 2024
Stuffs stat sheet Saturday
Giddey ended with 13 points (5-9 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 25 minutes during Saturday's 125-113 win over Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Giddey had a strong performance on both ends of the court, and as has been the trend with him since moving to Chicago, he's stuffing the stat sheet admirably on both ends of the court. Giddey has scored in double digits in all but one of his appearances in 2024-25 while also posting solid numbers as a playmaker, rebounder and on-ball defender. Giddey will remain valuable in fantasy as long as he can keep racking up stats left and right, even if he shares the court with two high-usage players, Zach LaVine and Coby White, on a regular basis. Giddey's ability to stuff the stat sheet is critical for his upside.
Nov 7, 2024
Hands out season-high 13 dimes
Giddey had nine points (3-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds and 13 assists across 30 minutes during Thursday's 135-119 loss to the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Giddey failed to reach double digits in the scoring column for the first time this season, but he replaced the lack of firepower on offense with an excellent showing as a playmaker. Giddey is showing the outstanding stat-filling ability he had previously shown during his OKC tenure. He's recorded three double-doubles so far and has proven to be able to make a huge impact in several categories at any point of a game. He's re-establishing his value as a reliable fantasy contributor, particularly in category-based leagues.
Nov 6, 2024
Plays through illness Wednesday
Giddey posted 10 points (3-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, six assists and one steal over 28 minutes during Wednesday's 119-99 loss to the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey continues to battle an ongoing illness, although once again suited up Wednesday. He finished with a serviceable line given his health and the fact the game was a blowout. It's been a solid start to his career in Chicago and barring a change in direction, he should continue to run as the starting point guard moving forward.
Nov 6, 2024
Officially in
Giddey (illness) will play in Wednesday's game against the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has been dealing with a non-COVID illness throughout the week, and he'll play through the sickness once again Wednesday. The 22-year-old is averaging 14.7 points, 7.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists across 29.1 minutes per game this season. He's received 30 or more minutes in three straight games and could see and expanded role with Zach LaVine (thigh) sidelined.
Nov 5, 2024
Expected to play Wednesday
Giddey is probable for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks due to a non-COVID illness.
ANALYSIS
Giddey is expected to play through a minor illness for a second straight game. He shook off a probable tag Monday and posted 15 points (5-11 FG), seven assists, two rebounds and a steal in 30 minutes during a loss to Utah.
Nov 4, 2024
Good to go
Giddey (illness) will play in Monday's game against Utah.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was added to the injury report as probable due to an illness, but it won't keep him out of Monday's clash. He's been a force on the glass of late, averaging 14.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.3 steals over his last three appearances.
Nov 4, 2024
Probable for Monday
Giddey (illness) is probable for Monday's game against the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was a late addition to the injury report, but it doesn't sound like the illness will keep him out of the lineup. The guard is averaging 14.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 6.2 assists through six games.
Oct 31, 2024
Double-double against Orlando
Giddey supplied 20 points (6-11 FG, 4-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 102-99 victory over the Magic.
ANALYSIS
The former Thunder guard posted a season high in points while delivering his second straight double-double as he continues to get acclimated to his new teammates and system. Giddey has had a strong start to his Chicago tenure, averaging 15.4 points, 8.4 boards, 5.8 assists and 2.0 threes through five games while shooting a blistering 58.8 percent (10-for-17) from beyond the arc.
Oct 29, 2024
Comes close to triple-double
Giddey racked up 12 points (4-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 13 rebounds, eight assists, one block and one steal across 28 minutes during Monday's 126-123 win over Memphis.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has yet to record his first triple-double with the Bulls, but he's been doing a good job filling the stat sheet every time he steps on the court. The former Thunder guard is making the most of the expanded role he's having with Chicago in the early stages of the season, and the numbers back that up since he's averaging 14.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game through his first four outings.
Oct 27, 2024
Solid effort against former team
Giddey had 14 points (6-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt), seven rebounds and four assists across 26 minutes in Saturday's 114-95 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Giddey couldn't repeat the 17-point, nine-assist effort he delivered Friday in the win over the Bucks, but Giddey still posted a decent stat line in his first game against the Thunder since being traded in the summer. Giddey has been solid to open the season and should remain a valuable fantasy alternative across most formats due to his ability to crack the scoresheet. Through three outings, he's averaging 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game despite not playing more than 30 minutes in any contest.
Oct 26, 2024
Solid all-around showing Friday
Giddey produced 17 points (6-10 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and nine assists across 24 minutes during Friday's 133-122 victory over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey had a modest output in the season-opening loss to the Pelicans on Wednesday, but he played a prominent role in this win, ending just one assist away from a double-double and leading the Bulls in that category. At his best, Giddey is a player capable of racking up stats and filling out the stat sheet on a regular basis, and his numbers should trend in the right direction -- compared to the season opener -- as he gets more comfortable running the offense alongside Coby White, Zach LaVIne and Nikola Vucevic.
Oct 24, 2024
Modest numbers in Chicago debut
Giddey chipped in 14 points (5-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-7 FT), five rebounds and three assists in 30 minutes during Wednesday's 123-111 loss to New Orleans.
ANALYSIS
In his Bulls debut, Giddey struggled to make an impact at both ends of the court, posting a team-worst minus-22 plus-minus rating and committing as many turnovers as he had assists. The 22-year-old guard's numbers declined last season with OKC, but Giddey should see a higher usage rate in Chicago, especially if the team trades away veterans like Zach LaVine.
Oct 23, 2024
Starting season opener
Giddey is part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Giddey will start in his regular-season Bulls debut, filing in next to Coby White, Zach LaVine, Patrick Williams and Nikola Vucevic in the first unit. Giddey averaged 12.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists across 25.2 minutes per game during the 2023-24 regular season.
Oct 22, 2024
Not listed on injury report
Giddey (rest) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Giddey is good to go for the regular season after resting during the preseason finale. After falling out of favor in Oklahoma City, Giddey is looking for a fresh start as a full-time starter with the new-look Bulls, who moved on from DeMar DeRozan and Alex Caruso this offseason.
Oct 18, 2024
Sitting out preseason finale
Giddey won't play in Friday's preseason game versus the Cavaliers for rest purposes, Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey hasn't suffered any injury but will sit out Friday's preseason finale. The 22-year-old guard should be able to suit up for Chicago's regular-season opener against New Orleans on Wednesday.
Oct 15, 2024
Hands out five dimes Monday
Giddey finished with 12 points (4-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, five assists and a block across 22 minutes in Monday's 111-107 preseason loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey is slated to open the 2024-25 season as the Bulls' starting point guard, so it's certainly a good omen to see him lead the team in assists in a game where none of the other projected starters saw action. Giddey is coming off a down 2023-24 season with the Thunder, but he's hoping to bounce back in Chicago, where he'll have a bigger role and more freedom on offense.
Oct 9, 2024
Chips in 11 points Tuesday
Giddey scored 11 points (5-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT) while adding seven rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal in 22 minutes during Tuesday's 116-112 preseason win over the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
The 21-year-old guard has been on the mend in training camp from an ankle injury he picked up in the Olympics, but Giddey seemed fully recovered Tuesday, and only Coby White played more minutes among Chicago's starting five in the team's preseason opener. Giddey saw his court time and his production decline with the Thunder last season, but a fresh start with the Bulls could re-ignite the talent that allowed him to average 16.6 points, 7.9 boards and 6.2 assists over 76 regular-season games in 2022-23.
Oct 8, 2024
Good to go Tuesday
Giddey (ankle) is available for Tuesday's preseason game versus the Cavaliers, Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has been battling a sprained ankle during training camp but is set to suit up for Tuesday's preseason opener. The 21-year-old guard will make his Chicago debut after spending the first three seasons of his career in Oklahoma City.
Oct 7, 2024
Expected to play
Giddey (ankle) is expected to play in Tuesday's preseason game against the Cavaliers, Darnell Mayberry of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey hasn't had any setbacks with his ankle and has been able to take contact in recent practices. Barring a change, coach Billy Donovan anticipates Giddey taking the floor against the Cavaliers. Lonzo Ball (knee), however, is considered questionable.
Oct 4, 2024
Practices Friday
Giddey scrimmaged 5-on-5 during Friday's practice, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has been batting an ankle injury throughout the offseason but appears to be fully recovered ahead of the 2024-25 season. His first chance to take the floor with Chicago will come in Tuesday's preseason opener against Cleveland.
Sep 30, 2024
Close to 100 percent
After battling an ankle sprain during the Paris Olympics, Giddey said Monday that he's close to being fully cleared, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey injured his ankle on the last play and has been sidelined since, as it was more serious than originally realized. Giddey said he will be conservative when training camp opens, and it sounds like the Bulls may hold him out of some stuff. Based on his comments, Giddey sounded like he was on the verge of a full return.
Aug 2, 2024
Misses out on double-double
Giddey tallied nine points (2-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 11 rebounds, six assists and one block in 28 minutes during Friday's 77-71 loss to Greece in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
ANALYSIS
Giddey led Australia in rebounds during Friday's loss, but his struggles from the field prevented him from recording a double-double. While the 21-year-old guard also dished out six dimes, his five turnovers contributed to his minus-10 point differential.
Jul 27, 2024
Game-high eight assists in win
Giddey posted 17 points (7-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-4 FT), eight rebounds and eight assists across 29 minutes in Australia's 92-80 win over Spain in the Paris Olympics on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Giddey stuffed the stat sheet while putting up a near triple-double in Saturday's win. The 21-year-old has become a focal point for Australia's offense, and his ability to distribute the ball has been encouraging as the Boomers face a plethora of challenges in a stacked Group A with remaining games against Canada and Greece. Giddey will likely continue to serve as one of the squad's main facilitators alongside veteran guard Patty Mills, and his ability to stuff the stat sheet will be crucial in the squad's remaining group-phase matchups.
Jul 25, 2024
Suiting up for Australia
Giddey is on the Australian national team's roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was dealt to the Bulls this offseason but will focus his offseason efforts on the Olympics for Australia. The 21-year-old guard is set to be one of the team's focal points on offense, even while playing alongside veterans like Patty Mills, Joe Ingles and Dante Exum.
Jun 20, 2024
Dealt to Chicago
The Thunder traded Giddey to the Bulls in exchange for Alex Caruso on Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
After receiving a significantly reduced role in the playoffs, averaging just 12.5 minutes across six games against Dallas, Giddey's long-term future in Oklahoma City seemed uncertain. So it is not surprising to see the 21-year-old guard dealt for Alex Caruso, who can offer better perimeter defense to the Thunder. Giddey could receive an opportunity to have the ball in his hands more often now that he is no longer playing alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and averaged 12.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 25.2 minutes across 80 games in 2023-24.
May 18, 2024
Limited role Saturday
Giddey closed Saturday's 117-116 loss to Dallas in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals with two points (1-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist in 10 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey played just 10 minutes in the loss, ending what has been a disappointing season for the young Australian. Having started the majority of the season, he was moved to the bench in recent times. In fact, he played fewer than 15 minutes in five straight games to end the campaign, placing some doubt over what his role could look like in 2024/25.
May 15, 2024
Out of starting lineup
Giddey will come of the bench for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Mavericks, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has seen his playing time drop off drastically during the series, seeing fewer than 15 minutes in three straight contest. He's been a non-factor against Dallas, averaging 6.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 13.3 minutes per contest. Isaiah Joe will replace him in the starting lineup next to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the backcourt.
May 10, 2024
Struggles badly once again
Giddey closed Thursday's 119-110 loss to the Mavericks in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals with eight points (3-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and two rebounds over 11 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey's minutes continue to decrease with each passing game, and it wouldn't be surprising if he moves to a bench role ahead of Game 3 given how much he's struggled on both ends of the court. He delivered good numbers against the Pelicans, but in the two outings against Dallas, he's averaging 5.0 points while shooting 40 percent from the floor across 14 minutes.
Apr 27, 2024
Strong performance Saturday
Giddey notched 21 points (8-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and one steal in 31 minutes during Saturday's 106-85 victory over New Orleans in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
ANALYSIS
Giddey put together his best performance of the postseason, helping guide the Thunder to a comfortable victory. He was one of three Oklahoma City players to score at least 20 points, a feat achieved by no one for the Pelicans. Now leading the series 3-0, the Thunder will look to end things in Game 4 Monday.
Apr 13, 2024
Not listed on injury report
Giddey (hip) is not listed in the injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
The Thunder will aim to capture the top seed in the Western Conference on the final day of the regular season, and Giddey is expected to handle his regular workload on the final day of the campaign against another playoff-bound team such as Dallas. Giddey is averaging 14.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game across six appearances this month.
Apr 12, 2024
Unavailable for Friday
Giddey (hip) won't play Friday night against the Bucks, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was hit with a questionable tag earlier in the day, and the team has since decided to sit him down for Friday's contest. Isaiah Joe and Cason Wallace should be the next two up to see chances at shooting guard.
Apr 12, 2024
Late addition to injury report
Giddey is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Bucks due to a right hip contusion.
ANALYSIS
Giddey is in danger of missing his first game since Dec. 23 on Friday due to a right hip contusion. If the 21-year-old guard is ruled out, Cason Wallace, Isaiah Joe and Aaron Wiggins are candidates to receive increased playing time.
Apr 11, 2024
Double-double against Spurs
Giddey logged 20 points (7-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 12 rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 127-89 win over San Antonio.
ANALYSIS
The third-year guard teased his fourth triple-double of the season as he bounced back from a poor four-point showing against the Kings on Tuesday. Giddey is having a strong finish to the regular season as the Thunder guns for the top seed in the Western Conference, and over the last 15 games he's averaged 16.3 points, 7.7 boards, 6.5 assists and 1.3 threes while shooting 54.1 percent from the floor.
Apr 10, 2024
Held in check
Giddey provided four points (2-7 FG, 0-4 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal over 21 minutes during Tuesday's 112-105 win over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was eerily quiet Tuesday, and his usage rate took a massive hit with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams back in the lineup. This was disappointing for his fantasy managers, as he just put up 20 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists Sunday against the Hornets.
Apr 8, 2024
Another triple-double Sunday
Giddey provided 20 points (7-15 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 13 rebounds, 13 assists and one steal in 37 minutes during Sunday's 121-118 victory over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
From a fantasy and statistical perspective, Giddey is ending the season on a sizzling streak, and he's taking advantage of the absences of both Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (quadriceps) and Jalen Williams (ankle) to fill the stat sheet regularly. This was Giddey's second triple-double over his last five appearances, a span in which he's averaging 15.4 points, 9.2 rebounds and 8.4 assists per contest.
Apr 6, 2024
Near triple-double vs. Pacers
Giddey racked up 14 points (6-17 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, 12 assists and one steal across 35 minutes during Friday's 126-112 loss to the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey registered his eighth double-double of the season Friday, and he was one rebound shy of recording his third triple-double of the year. He's taken a larger role over the last three games due to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (quadriceps) being sidelined. Over that span, Giddey has averaged 13.7 points on 47.2 percent shooting, 6.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists over 30.3 minutes per game.
Apr 4, 2024
Solid output in loss to Boston
Giddey ended with 17 points (7-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and two assists over 28 minutes during Wednesday's 135-100 loss to the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Giddey saw an uptick in his usage rate due to the absence of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (quadriceps), and he posted a solid stat line across the board. He was efficient with his shot, but there was nothing he could've done to change the course of the game en route to a 35-point loss. Giddey is averaging 19.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game over his last five appearances, though it's worth noting that Gilgeous-Alexander has been absent in four of those.
Apr 1, 2024
Records triple-double Sunday
Giddey closed Sunday's 113-112 win over New York with 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 13 rebounds, 12 assists, two blocks and one steal in 31 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey had already come close to securing a triple-double in the win over the Suns on Friday, but he accomplished the feat in this tight win over the Knicks, making it the second time he has achieved this goal in the current season. The Thunder certainly needed Giddey to be at his best since Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was not at 100 percent in his return from a two-game absence. Giddey will try to keep his hot streak alive when the Thunder take on the 76ers on Tuesday.
Mar 30, 2024
Sniffs triple-double Friday
Giddey closed with 23 points (10-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, nine assists and one block over 24 minutes during Friday's 128-103 win over the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (quadriceps) missed a second consecutive contest, and just like it happened during Wednesday's loss to the Rockets, Giddey stepped up to the occasion and thrived as a point guard. This time, he ended just one assist and three rebounds shy of a triple-double. Giddey will remain in a starting role regardless of whether Gilgeous-Alexander returns to face the Knicks on Sunday, but his usage rate will remain high in case the star floor general can't make it for the trip to Madison Square Garden.

Posts 31 points in OT loss
Giddey amassed 31 points (12-20 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 7-11 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 132-126 overtime loss to the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
The Thunder were without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (quadriceps) on Wednesday, but Giddey stepped up and delivered one of his best, most complete performances of the season. Giddey might enjoy another heavy workload on offense against the Suns on Friday if Gilgeous-Alexander is ruled out.

Heating up from deep
Giddey closed with 25 points (10-14 FG, 5-8 3Pt), nine rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes during Tuesday's 119-112 victory over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has buried nine of his 14 three-point attempts in his last two games, which is a critical development for his ability to be a locked-in member of Oklahoma City's rotation in crunch time. Prior to his ongoing hot streak, Giddey connected on just 34.3 percent of 3.5 threes per game across his last 10 contests, while averaging 23.9 minutes per night. Giddey has logged 29 and 31 minutes in his last two appearances, so an enlarged role can be seized if his shooting success continues -- especially in the context of Luguentz Dort slumping and Gordon Hayward failing to carve out a rotation role.

Teases triple-double in loss
Giddey notched 19 points (7-12 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds and eight assists across 29 minutes during Sunday's 118-93 loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
The 19 points led the Thunder on the night, and the third-year guard came close to his 10th career triple-double. Giddey has been a little more productive in March, draining at least one three-pointer in all 11 games so far this month while scoring in double digits 10 times, and he's averaged 13.5 points, 6.3 boards, 4.9 assists and 1.5 threes while shooting 53.3 percent from the floor.
Mar 21, 2024
Just misses double-double
Giddey closed with five points (2-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt), 11 rebounds, eight assists and one block in 26 minutes during Wednesday's 119-107 victory over Utah.
ANALYSIS
Despite a poor shooting night, Giddey still made an impact by pulling down double-digit boards for only the second time in the last 27 games while dishing his highest assist total since Jan. 11. The third-year guard has seen his fantasy value crater this season as Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams have both cut into his usage, and over 14 games since the All-Star break, Giddey is averaging 11.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.0 threes and 0.8 steals.
Mar 9, 2024
Solid display in win Friday
Giddey provided 11 points (5-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt), nine rebounds and six assists over 23 minutes during Friday's 107-100 win over the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Giddey finished just one rebound shy of recording a double-double, and even though he doesn't hold the same role he had on offense compared to last season due to the emergence of Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams, he remains a player capable of stuffing the stat sheet on any given game. Giddey has scored in double digits in his four appearances this month, averaging 13.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game in March.
Feb 28, 2024
Bounces back in win
Giddey ended Tuesday's 112-95 win over Houston with 14 points (6-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds and four assists over 20 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey needed a bounce-back performance like this one, as he was held to two points on 1-of-5 shooting in his previous contest against the Rockets on Sunday. He's struggled for most of February, averaging 10.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.1 three-pointers on 44.1 percent shooting from the field.
Feb 10, 2024
Another disappointing effort
Giddey totaled 11 points (3-14 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal across 23 minutes during Saturday's 146-111 loss to the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey continues to struggle, playing fewer than 28 minutes for the 10th time in the past 11 games. Despite remaining in the starting lineup, the young Australian often finds himself on the bench to close games. He remains a borderline 12-team asset but the impending arrival of Gordon Hayward could change things moving forward.
Feb 5, 2024
Erupts for 24 points
Giddey accumulated 24 points (9-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, six assists and two blocks over 41 minutes during Sunday's 135-127 double-overtime victory over the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
This was a much-needed performance for Giddey, as he was coming off a pair of rough showings in which he shot a combined 5-of-19 from the field. Giddey's 41 minutes was his highest workload of the campaign by a comfortable margin, and his season-high mark of 24 points helped the Thunder secure their third straight win.
Feb 1, 2024
Struggles again Wednesday
Giddey had eight points (2-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and one block over 25 minutes during Wednesday's 105-100 victory over Denver.
ANALYSIS
Giddey shot just 2-of-11 from the floor, scoring fewer than 15 points for the seventh straight game. He has been one of the most underwhelming players this season, currently sitting outside the top 150 in standard leagues. He isn't out of place on a 12-team roster but is not someone managers need to be holding at the expense of a hot waiver wire pickup.
Jan 29, 2024
Comes close to double-double
Giddey produced 12 points (5-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and one block across 27 minutes during Sunday's 120-104 loss to the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Giddey finished just one assist away from recording a double-double, but he also chipped in with five dimes -- a feat he's already achieved 19 times in 2023-24. Even though Giddey might hold a secondary role on offense following the addition of Chet Holmgren and the emergence of Jalen Williams, he remains valuable in most fantasy formats, as he can get hot on any minute while also showing the ability to fill the stat sheet on a regular basis.
Jan 24, 2024
Quiet in win
Giddey amassed seven points (3-6 FG, 1-2 FT), five rebounds and three assists in 25 minutes during Tuesday's 111-109 win over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has been held to single-digit points in four of his last five games. During that stretch, he averaged 9.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists while shooting 40.4 percent from the field. He had a total of two steals and one block as well, but on the bright side, he turned the ball over just three times.
Jan 19, 2024
Nears triple-double in win
Giddey recorded 20 points (8-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 10 rebounds, six assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Thursday's 134-129 win over Utah.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was on triple-double watch during the first half of the game, and although he finished just four assists shy of hitting that mark, he still stuffed the stat sheet and posted a valuable line while helping the Thunder secure the win. Giddey has lacked consistency when it comes to his scoring numbers, but he'll be valuable in fantasy as long as he can continue putting up stats across several categories. He's averaging 12.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 0.7 steals per game over his last 10 contests.
Jan 14, 2024
Productive on both ends Saturday
Giddey notched 12 points (4-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and one steal over 27 minutes during Saturday's 112-100 victory over Orlando.
ANALYSIS
Giddey couldn't replicate the triple-double he accomplished against the Trail Blazers on Thursday, but he delivered another impressive outing on both ends of the court in this one. Even though his scoring figures have been inconsistent, it's worth noting that Giddey has reached the 10-point plateau in six of his last nine outings. Over that nine-game stretch, he's averaging 13.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 5.7 assists per contest.
Jan 12, 2024
Records triple-double
Giddey amassed 13 points (5-5 FG, 3-3 FT), 10 rebounds, 12 assists and three blocks across 22 minutes during Thursday's 139-77 victory over Portland.
ANALYSIS
Giddey had one of the most efficient performances the NBA has seen in recent memory, as he didn't miss a single shot from the field, posted a triple-double and also recorded three blocks in just 22 minutes. The Trail Blazers' passive approach on defense certainly played a part in Giddey's inflated stat line, but this is the perfect example of the versatile contributions the Australian guard can deliver on a regular basis. He's averaging 12.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game over his last 10 appearances.
Jan 3, 2024
Posts season-high 23 points
Giddey posted 23 points (8-14 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds and six assists in 27 minutes during Tuesday's 127-123 victory over the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Giddey delivered his best scoring mark of the season when the Thunder needed him the most, but he also contributed in other categories and posted solid figures in the rebounds and assists categories. Giddey has always been a player known for his ability to fill the stat sheet, and that ability was on full display Tuesday. He's averaging 13.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game over his last 10 appearances, meaning he's not likely to continue hovering around the 20-point mark for an extended stretch.
Jan 1, 2024
Goes for 20 points in win
Giddey produced 20 points (8-16 FG, 4-8 3Pt), six rebounds and five assists in 27 minutes during Sunday's 124-108 victory over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Giddey is known for his ability to stuff the stat sheet on a game-to-game basis, but he stood out as a scorer Sunday and reached the 20-point plateau for the first time since Oct. 30, when he scored a season-high 21 points against the Pistons. Giddey remains extremely valuable in fantasy and is averaging 11.9 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game over his last 10 contests.
Dec 27, 2023
Reaches double figures in return
Giddey accumulated 10 points (4-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and seven assists in 25 minutes during Tuesday's 129-106 win over the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Giddey returned after missing the previous game with a left ankle sprain by finishing as one of five Thunder players with a double-digit point total and ending second on the team in assists over 25 minutes of action. Giddey has crossed double figures in scoring in 19 appearances this season, adding seven of or more assists in five of those contests.
Dec 26, 2023
Will play Tuesday
Giddey (ankle) is cleared to play in Tuesday's game against Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
Giddey will return from a one-game absence due to a left ankle sprain. He's amid a fantasy-relevant stretch over his last five games, averaging 12.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 21.2 minutes per contest.
Dec 25, 2023
Listed as questionable
Giddey (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Giddey left Thursday's win over the Clippers and missed Saturday's loss to the Lakers due to an ankle injury. He has a chance to return Tuesday, but if Giddey remains sidelined, Isaiah Joe, Aaron Wiggins and Cason Wallace would be candidates for increased roles.
Dec 22, 2023
Out Saturday
Giddey (ankle) is out for Saturday's matchup against the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey exited Thursday's victory over the Clippers with an ankle injury, and he's been ruled out for Saturday after it's been diagnosed as a sprain. The absence will mark Giddey's first of the campaign. While he's sidelined, more minutes could be in store for Isaiah Joe, Aaron Wiggins, Cason Wallace and others.
Dec 21, 2023
Will not return Thursday
Giddey will not return to Thursday's game against the Clippers due to a left ankle injury, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports. He finished with 11 points (4-5 FG, 3-3 3Pt), four assists, three rebounds and five turnovers in 14 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was driving to the basket when he slipped and twisted his left ankle pretty good. The severity is not known yet, but this puts his status for Saturday against the Lakers in jeopardy. Cason Wallace started the second half in his place, and Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe could see a few more minutes in the short term.
Dec 19, 2023
Double-doubles in win
Giddey produced 16 points (6-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and one steal over 24 minutes during Monday's 116-97 victory over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Coming into the contest, Giddey had scored in double figures just twice over his previous five appearances, but he submitted an efficient performance in that category Monday. Despite the quality outing, Giddey's fantasy value continues to trend downward. He hasn't played 30-plus minutes since Nov. 3, averaging 11.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 24.8 minutes over his last 18 appearances.
Dec 7, 2023
Rough night yet again
Giddey logged eight points (3-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt), four rebounds, six assists and one steal over 25 minutes during Wednesday's 110-101 loss to Houston.
ANALYSIS
Giddey offered very little outside of his six assists, another in a string of disappointing games. He has not played more than 30 minutes in almost a month, often riding the bench to close games. He is well outside the top 200 in nine-category leagues, making him someone to consider dropping. While he should able to pick things up at some point, it does appear as though the Thunder might be comfortable using him sparingly when the game is on the line.
Nov 26, 2023
Comes close to triple-double
Giddey contributed 10 points (4-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and eight assists over 26 minutes during Saturday's 127-123 loss to Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren led the way for the Thunder in this loss, but Giddey excelled as a supporting threat while making his presence felt on both ends of the court. One of the most versatile players in the league and someone who can fill the stat sheet with ease every time he steps on the court, Giddey is averaging 11.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game across his last 10 contests.
Nov 24, 2023
NBA looking into allegations
The NBA announced Friday that it's looking into allegations that Giddey had an improper relationship with an underage girl, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The allegations were made on social media earlier in the week, but Giddey and coach Mark Daigneault declined to comment on the situation following Friday's practice. "I understand the question obviously, but there's no further comment right now," Giddey said. "Personal matter, and I have no comment on it," Daigneault said. "And that'll be my comment on anything related."
Nov 20, 2023
Dishes out five dimes
Giddey had six points (3-6 FG), four rebounds, five assists and one steal in 23 minutes during Sunday's 134-91 victory over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey had scored in double figures in five consecutive games leading up to Sunday's matchup, but he didn't play as much of a role on the scoreboard during the blowout victory. However, he remained relatively consistent in rebounds and assists. Over 10 appearances in November, he's averaged 12.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 26.9 minutes per game.
Nov 17, 2023
Pops for 19 in win
Giddey accumulated 19 points (8-14 FG, 3-3 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist and two steals across 26 minutes during Thursday's 128-109 victory over Golden State.
ANALYSIS
The third-year guard ended a shooting slump from three-point range that had seen Giddey go 0-for-9 over his prior six games. His production is down to begin the season as the Thunder's starting five adjusts to the addition of Chet Holmgren, but Giddey's usage rate has actually ticked up to a career-high 25.6 percent, suggesting his numbers will improve if his efficiency can return to its usual level -- his .486 true shooting percentage is far below the .533 mark he posted in 2022-23.
Nov 13, 2023
Double-doubles in win
Giddey notched 10 points (5-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt), six rebounds, 10 assists, two blocks and two steals across 32 minutes during Sunday's 111-99 victory over the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Giddey dished out a season-high 10 assists and recorded his first double-double of the campaign. The versatile guard's numbers are down across the board, but he's still a key contributor for an upstart Thunder squad. When he's played at least 28 minutes this season, Giddey has averaged 16.0 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.6 steals-plus-blocks per game.
Nov 11, 2023
Struuggles continue in loss
Giddey produced 13 points (6-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five assists and four rebounds across 26 minutes during Friday's 105-98 loss to the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Although Giddey improved on his sour eight-point efforts against Atlanta and Cleveland, his scoring downturn adversely affects the Thunder's ability to close out games. Although he relied on secondary numbers to help take care of the Hawks and Cavaliers, the team will continue to falter if they can't find adequate support for Shai-Gilgeous Alexander, who is taking on too much responsibility.
Nov 7, 2023
Modest production in win
Giddey ended Monday's 126-117 victory over the Hawks with eight points (4-13 FG), seven rebounds and four assists in 27 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey failed to score in double figures for the third time this season. He is off to a slow start compared to last year but remains a focal point of a Thunder squad that's vying for playoff contention. Through seven games, Giddey is averaging 12.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 0.4 steals in 28.6 minutes per game, which are all slightly lower marks than his 2022-23 numbers.
Oct 31, 2023
Stuffs stat sheet in win Monday
Giddey finished Monday's 124-112 victory over the Pistons with 21 points (9-18 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 28 minutes.
ANALYSIS
One of the best rebounding guards in the league and a player who can fill the stat sheet on any given night, Giddey was impressive in this one and delivered solid numbers across the board. The lack of consistency as a scorer hurts his upside a bit, however, as Giddey has either notched 16 or more points, or nine or less, in his four games thus far.
Oct 30, 2023
Held in check Sunday
Giddey accumulated nine points (4-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists and one steal across 22 minutes during Sunday's 128-95 loss to Denver.
ANALYSIS
Giddey posted 16 points during Wednesday's regular-season opener against Chicago, but he's been held to single-digit scoring totals in his last two appearances while shooting just 23.8 percent from the floor during that time. The 21-year-old also saw decreased playing time Sunday since the Thunder were being blown out. Despite his discouraging performances in back-to-back matchups, Giddey will likely have better days ahead after averaging 16.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists in 31.2 minutes per game last year.
Oct 21, 2023
Has third-year option exercised
The Thunder exercised Giddey's third-year contract option Saturday, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey is now locked up for the next two years and is set to earn $8.3 million during the 2024-25 season. The guard took a noticeable step forward in terms of scoring during the 2022-23 campaign, averaging 16.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 0.8 steals over 76 games.
Oct 18, 2023
Scores team-high 19 points
Giddey accounted for 19 points (9-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds and five assists across 24 minutes in Tuesday's 124-101 preseason win over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey finished three rebounds away from a double-double, but his shooting efficiency also stood out. A player capable of making an impact all over the court regularly, Giddey might see his scoring totals a bit compromised, especially with Chet Holmgren healthy and set to play a prominent role on offense, but the Australian should remain valuable in fantasy due to his ability to contribute in other categories with equal efficiency.
Oct 16, 2023
Will return Tuesday
Giddey will be available for Tuesday's preseason game against the Bucks, Brandon Rahbar of the Daily Thunder reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey and several other key players for the Thunder were rested on Sunday evening. There's a good chance they all sit again in Thursday's preseason finale.
Oct 15, 2023
Unavailable Sunday
Giddey won't play in Sunday's preseason game against the Hornets for rest purposes, Nick Gallo of Bally Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey and the rest of the Thunder's regulars will take a seat Sunday. His next chance to suit up will arrive Tuesday in an exhibition versus the Bucks.
Apr 15, 2023
Fizzles in second Play-In Game
Giddey logged six points (2-13 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Friday's 120-95 Play-In Game loss to the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was fantastic in OKC's Play-In win over the Pelicans on Wednesday, falling just shy of a triple-double with 31 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds. However, he was unable to come close to duplicating that performance Friday, shooting a miserable 2-for-13 from the field and making less of an impact on the boards and as a distributor as well. Despite the sour conclusion to his season, Giddey showed promising growth in his second NBA campaign, upping his field-goal rate over six notches to a solid 48.2 percent. He nearly broke into the top 100 in nine-category fantasy leagues due to his ability to contribute across three categories, averaging 16.6 points, 7.9 boards and 6.2 dimes per contest during the regular season.
Apr 13, 2023
Flirts with triple-double
Giddey finished with 31 points (11-22 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), nine rebounds, 10 assists and one block over 42 minutes during Wednesday's 123-118 play-in game victory over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was brilliant in the win, matching his best performance of the season with 31 points, coming one rebound shy of a triple-double. The Aussie had a consistent and productive second season with the Thunder, notching a perfect attendance record after missing the first six games of the season. In 76 appearances, Giddey averaged career numbers in points (16.6) and rebounds (7.9) and shot 48.2 percent from the floor.
Apr 12, 2023
Not listed on injury report
Giddey (rest) isn't listed on the Thunder's injury report ahead of Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Giddey took a seat for Sunday's regular-season finale due to rest purposes, but as expected, he'll be back in the mix for the Thunder's Play-In Tournament matchup versus New Orleans. Across 76 regular-season appearances, the second-year guard averaged 16.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.2 steals-plus-blocks in 31.2 minutes per game.
Apr 8, 2023
Won't play Sunday
Giddey (rest) will not play in Sunday's game against the Grizzlies, Rylan Stiles of FanSided.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey will join a slew of Thunder rotation pieces in street clothes Sunday with the team locked into the No. 10 seed. Isaiah Joe, Aaron Wiggins, Lindy Waters and Tre Mann could all see extended action Sunday.
Apr 7, 2023
Does it all in win
Giddey registered 17 points (6-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists and three steals in 36 minutes during Thursday's 114-98 victory over the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Giddey finished with at least 15 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for a 12th time this season. He also tied his season-high with three steals, a mark he hasn't reached since Feb. 4. Since the start of March (20 games), Giddey has averaged 18.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 0.8 steals in 32.6 minutes per game.
Apr 3, 2023
Flirts with triple-double in loss
Giddey accumulated 16 points (5-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT), nine rebounds and eight assists across 35 minutes during Sunday's 128-118 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Giddey came up just one rebound and two assists shy of a triple-double Sunday night. His nine boards and eight dimes each led the team. The second-year guard is averaging 16.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists in 74 appearances this season.
Apr 1, 2023
Elevated scoring continues Friday
Giddey registered 21 points (9-19 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds and four assists in 33 minutes during Friday's 121-117 loss to the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has taken on an expanded scoring role lately, averaging 22.8 points on 19.2 shots across the past five matchups compared to 16.1 points on 14.4 shots in his 68 prior appearances. That's partially due to two absences from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but Giddey has been extra aggressive even when SGA has been available. Giddey is also posting 10.0 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game during this run.
Mar 29, 2023
Flirts with triple-double
Giddey ended with 31 points (14-22 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds, nine assists and one block over 34 minutes during Tuesday's 137-134 loss to the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle) out, Giddey saw increased playmaking opportunities and took advantage with one of his best overall performances of the campaign. The second-year wing connected on a season-high 14 field-goal attempts en route to a career-high 31 points and dished out a team-high nine assists. He also led the team in rebounds, falling one short of his fourth triple-double this season. Across 15 March appearances, Giddey has averaged 18.3 points, 8.9 rebounds and 7.5 assists, so even though his usage will take a bit of a hit when Gilgeous-Alexander returns, Giddey has still been playing superb ball of late and is a must-start in all formats.
Mar 26, 2023
Makes impact across board
Giddey produced 17 points (7-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 11 rebounds, six assists, two blocks and one steal over 35 minutes during Sunday's 118-112 victory over Portland.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was efficient on the offensive end and contributed in a big way on the boards yet again. He's racked up 28 total rebounds in his last two contests, securing back-to-back double-doubles. Giddey has also tallied at least one steal and one block in his last two appearances.
Mar 25, 2023
Posts massive line in loss
Giddey contributed 27 points (12-24 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 17 rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal in 39 minutes during Friday's 116-111 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey looked like the best player on the court for OKC on Friday, tying for the team lead in scoring and pacing the club with 17 boards. Both his point and rebound total fell one shy of a career-high mark, and he added seven assists to round out a superb fantasy line. Giddey logged his 26th double-double of the campaign.
Mar 24, 2023
Up-and-down game Thursday
Giddey closed Thursday's 127-105 loss to the Clippers with 18 points (8-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt), three rebounds and four assists over 26 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey opened the contest with a flurry, scoring seven points and dishing two assists within the first six minutes. He didn't notch another point or dime for the remainder of the half, however, as he surprisingly logged just 11 total minutes. Giddey then bounced back enough after halftime to finish with 18 points, though his rebound and assist totals were below his season averages. On a positive note, Giddey drained two triples on five attempts in the contest, marking the first time he has made multiple three-pointers since March 5.

Secures triple-double in win
Giddey provided 15 points (7-19 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 13 rebounds, 10 assists and two steals over 37 minutes during Tuesday's 121-107 victory over Brooklyn.
ANALYSIS
Giddey struggled to find his shooting touch in this one, as he knocked down only 36.8 percent of his tries from the field. However, his shot volume continues to be there, now averaging 15.0 field-goal attempts in March (eight games). Giddey has also tallied two triple-doubles this month and continues to show that he can contribute in almost any category on a nightly basis outside of blocks.
Mar 13, 2023
Claims 24th double-double
Giddey supplied 15 points (6-16 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists and one steal across 32 minutes in Sunday's 102-90 win over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Though backcourt mate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (abdomen) sat out for the second time in three games, Giddey didn't see the spike in assists that fantasy managers might have expected, as Jalen Williams (seven dimes) instead paced the Thunder in the category. Giddey still came away with his 24th double-double of the season thanks to his production on the glass, an area where he's stood out throughout his first two seasons in the league. The 20-year-old is averaging exactly 7.8 boards per game for the second year in a row and ranks behind only Luka Doncic (8.6) and Josh Hart (7.9) among all players in the league listed as guards.
Mar 12, 2023
Solid all-around game
Giddey finished Saturday's 110-96 victory over the Pelicans with 19 points (8-12 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-4 FT), seven rebounds and four assists in 33 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey had another solid all-around showing in a strong double-digit win for the Thunder. He has settled as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's ideal partner in the backcourt and tends to stuff the stat sheet almost on a regular basis. He's averaging 16.1 points, 7.7 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game over his last 10 contests.
Mar 9, 2023
Dreadful shooting in loss
Giddey totaled 10 points (3-12 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and two steals across 23 minutes during Wednesday's 132-101 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
It was a down night overall for Giddey as the shooting guard went 0-of-7 from the field in the first half before adding 10 points on 3-of-5 shooting over the final two quarters. Despite his offensive struggles, Giddey still managed to lead the Thunder with five assists on the night while also tying Ousmane Dieng and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl for the team lead in rebounds with seven - though just two of those came in the second half. He's now grabbed at least seven rebounds in three straight games and is averaging 11 assists per game in March.
Mar 8, 2023
Posts triple-double with 17 dimes
Giddey supplied 17 points (6-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 11 rebounds and 17 assists over 38 minutes during Tuesday's 137-128 victory over Golden State.
ANALYSIS
Giddey scored only three points in the first half but that's because he was too busy dishing out assists, racking up 10 over the first two quarters. The shooting guard was solid all around after the break, going 5-of-8 from the field for 14 points while adding six boards and another seven dimes. He finished the contest with a game and season-high 17 assists and also notched his third triple-double of his 2022-23 campaign. Giddey has now dished out 10 or more assists in three of four games to begin this month.
Mar 6, 2023
Sniffs triple-double in win
Giddey finished Sunday's 129-119 victory over the Jazz with 24 points (10-16 FG, 4-6 3Pt), nine rebounds, nine assists and two steals in 32 minutes.
ANALYSIS
The return of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was expected to affect Giddey's numbers, but that wasn't the case Sunday, and the versatile guard ended just one rebound and one assist away from recording a triple-double. Giddey has been on a tear in recent weeks and is averaging 16.9 points, 6.9 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 0.9 steals per game since the start of February.
Mar 4, 2023
Hands out 13 dimes
Giddey closed with 18 points (8-17 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, 13 assists, one block and one steal across 32 minutes during Friday's 130-103 victory over Utah.
ANALYSIS
Giddey started at point guard with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (abdomen, COVID-19) sidelined and thrived as a distributor once again, as he's recorded double-digit assists in back-to-back contests. Giddey is one of the most versatile guards in the league and his stat-filling ability makes him a valuable fantasy asset. He's averaging 16.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game since the start of February.
Mar 2, 2023
Just misses triple-double
Giddey amassed 22 points (10-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-3 FT), nine rebounds and 11 assists over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 123-117 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey attempted to pick up the slack for OKC with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle/abdomen/health and safety protocols) missing his fourth straight contest, and the former fared well with his highest scoring effort since mid-January. Giddey also led the team with 11 assists and finished second with nine boards, falling just short of what would have been his third triple-double of the season. It was a strong bounce-back effort for the 20-year-old after he posted a tepid 8/6/5 line over 19 minutes the previous night versus Sacramento.
Feb 25, 2023
Struggles from field Friday
Giddey had seven points (3-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and five assists across 24 minutes during Friday's 124-115 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Giddey had a woeful shooting performance and tied his lowest scoring output of the season despite attempting 14 shots, although his fantasy performance still had a silver lining with his contributions in the rebounds and assists categories. Giddey is known for being a player that can contribute on both ends of the court, but that won't matter much if he struggles to score on a regular basis.
Feb 24, 2023
Grabs double-double
Giddey supplied 18 points (8-23 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and two steals across 38 minutes during Thursday's 120-119 overtime loss to the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Giddey struggled from the field early, hitting just three of 10 shots over the first two quarters for six points while adding six boards and three assists. He didn't fare much better after the break, going 3-of-9 in the second half and 2-of-4 in the overtime period as the Thunder fell to the Jazz by just one point on the road. On a positive note, the shooting guard did finish tied for the team lead with 11 rebounds on the night, his first game with 10 or more rebounds since Jan. 20 against Sacramento. However, he's now 0-of-8 from three over his last three games and is shooting just 20 percent from beyond the arc in February.
Feb 16, 2023
Scores 13 with six assists
Giddey finished with 13 points (5-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 133-96 win over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Giddey had a strong all-around performance and thrived as a facilitator, but these stat-filling performances are nothing new for the Australian guard. A solid player on both ends of the court and the perfect complement for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on the Thunder backcourt, Giddey is averaging 17.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game over his last 10 contests while shooting 50 percent from the field in that span.
Feb 14, 2023
Finishes strong in loss
Giddey recorded 17 points (8-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and one steal over 33 minutes during Monday's 103-100 loss to the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Giddey made just one shot in the first half. He stepped up with 15 points, four rebounds and three assists in the second half to salvage his night. That pushed his streak to 22 games with at least 10 points. The 20-year-old also has five or more rebounds in 14 straight games. As the second option behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Giddey should continue to produce good fantasy numbers with consistent volume.
Feb 8, 2023
Produces 20 points in win
Giddey registered 20 points (10-19 FG, 0-3 3Pt), five rebounds and six assists over 35 minutes during Tuesday's 133-130 win over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
After a slow start, Giddey got hot in the second quarter with eight points on 4-of-5 shooting from the floor as the Thunder jumped out to a 10-point lead at the half. The shooting guard contributed another 10 points in the second half on 5-of-12 shooting to go along with four rebounds and three assists. He finished third on the team with 20 points and has now broken the 20-point mark in three of his last five games, shooting 52.5 percent from the field over that stretch.
Feb 5, 2023
Comes close to triple-double
Giddey closed with 17 points (8-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt), eight rebounds, 10 assists, one block and three steals in 28 minutes during Saturday's 153-121 win over Houston.
ANALYSIS
Giddey stuffed the stat sheet and finished with double-digit assists for the first time since Jan. 18. He also had a strong showing on the glass by securing three of his eight boards on the offensive end. Giddey is averaging 17.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.8 steals over his last five appearances.
Feb 2, 2023
Another well-rounded display
Giddey finished with 20 points (9-18 FG, 2-6 3Pt), eight rebounds, eight assists, one steal and one block across 38 minutes in Wednesday's 112-106 loss to the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
For the second game in a row, Giddey shot exactly 9-for-18 from the floor en route to another 20-point scoring performance. He's now hit double figures in the scoring column in 17 straight games, averaging 19.1 points while shooting 51.9 percent from the field and 84.4 percent from the free-throw line. Giddey isn't yet a reliable perimeter shooter, but he's nonetheless made dramatic strides on the offensive end in his second season, raising his true shooting percentage nearly six points from his rookie year. The uptick in offensive efficiency hasn't come with any downturn in his contributions in the assists and rebounds categories, where he continues to put up strong numbers with regularity.
Jan 31, 2023
Solid performance in loss
Giddey recorded 21 points (9-18 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and three steals over 29 minutes during Monday's 128-120 loss to Golden State.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was one of three Thunder players to score at least 19 points, helping lead a second-half comeback that came up a bit short. He scored 14 of his 21 points after the break and contributed solid numbers across the board, including a season-high three steals. The sophomore guard had a somewhat quiet start to the season (relative to his ADP), but he's really turned it up in the month of January, averaging 18.8 points (on 51.8 percent shooting), 7.6 rebounds and 6.4 assists.
Jan 26, 2023
Struggles from field Wednesday
Giddey chipped in 16 points (8-19 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and two steals over 30 minutes during Wednesday's 137-132 loss to Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Giddey delivered a strong all-around performance and stuffed the stat sheet once again, but the fact that he needed 19 shots to score 16 points is not encouraging. At least he's been consistent from a scoring perspective, however, reaching the 15-point plateau in each of his last eight outings while averaging 19.5 points per game in that span.
Jan 23, 2023
Flirts with double-double in win
Giddey notched 18 points (9-17 FG, 0-1 3Pt), nine rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 31 minutes during Sunday's 101-99 victory over Denver.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was one rebound shy of the double-double milestone in Sunday's win. As the Thunder's second-best scoring option, Giddey kept a steady stream of production going after notching two consecutive double-doubles last week. Giddey's secondary numbers are usually excellent, and he can often salvage a respectable fantasy total if his shots aren't landing.
Jan 21, 2023
Double-double against Kings
Giddey racked up 15 points (7-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt), 10 rebounds and five assists in 30 minutes during Friday's 118-113 loss to the Kings.
ANALYSIS
It's the 18th double-double of the season for the second-year guard, already establishing a new career best in that category after he managed 16 as a rookie. Giddey's numbers have taken another step forward lately, and over his last 12 games he's averaging 19.5 points, 7.8 boards, 6.4 assists and 1.2 threes while shooting 53.2 percent from the floor.
Jan 19, 2023
Comes close to triple-double
Giddey finished with 16 points (8-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt), six rebounds, 11 assists, one block and one steal in 30 minutes before fouling out of Wednesday's 126-106 victory over the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
GIddey finished four rebounds away from recording a triple-double, and he continues to fill the stat sheet on a game-to-game basis. The second-year guard is also on a solid scoring run with five straight games of at least 15 points. He's averaging 21.4 points, 8.8 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game in that span.
Jan 16, 2023
Sniffs triple-double in win
Giddey registered 28 points (12-21 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds and nine assists in 37 minutes during Sunday's 112-102 win over Brooklyn.
ANALYSIS
Aside from recording his third straight game with 20 or more points, Giddey ended just one rebound and one assist away from posting another triple-double. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the undisputed go-to player on offense for the Thunder, but Giddey has emerged as a reliable weapon due to his ability to make things happen on both ends of the court.
Jan 14, 2023
Posts double-double
Giddey contributed 25 points (11-18 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, six assists and two blocks in 32 minutes during Friday's 124-110 win over Chicago.
ANALYSIS
Giddey can fill out the stat sheet on any game and did that against Friday in a comfortable double-digit win over the Bulls, posting his 14th double-double of the season, showing efficiency from the field and also collaborating in other categories. The perfect partner for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the backcourt, Giddey is averaging 19.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game in January.
Jan 12, 2023
Near double-double in victory
Giddey produced 20 points (7-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, eight assists and one steal over 36 minutes during Thursday's 133-114 victory over the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey saw an all-around performance while leading the team in assists and finishing two dishes short of a double-double. Giddey has averaged 16.8 points, 7.2 assists and 7.0 rebounds over his last five games.
Jan 10, 2023
Posts triple-double in loss
Giddey racked up 18 points (8-18 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 15 rebounds, 10 assists and one block over 32 minutes during Tuesday's 112-111 loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Giddey did it all for Oklahoma City while leading the Thunder in rebounds and assists en route to a triple-double performance. Giddey has recorded a triple-double on two occasions this year, tying a season-high mark in rebounds.
Jan 7, 2023
Solid all around performance
Giddey registered 20 points (9-16 FG, 2-2 3Pt), six rebounds, nine assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Friday's 127-110 win over the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
The second-year guard has been on a hot streak, as he scored at least 20 points in four of his last five contests. Friday's nine assists are the most he has recorded in a game since mid-November. Giddey has been good for no less than five rebounds in each contest since 11/3. He should be viewed as a consistent fantasy option for managers, and a major value in dynasty formats.
Jan 5, 2023
Scores 16 points in loss
Giddey ended Wednesday's 126-115 loss to the Magic with 16 points (7-17 FG, 2-7 3Pt), five rebounds and four assists across 31 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey did most of his damage in the first half with 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting from the field to go along with four rebounds and three assists. After failing to score any points in the third quarter he went 3-of-6 in the fourth for another six points to finish second on the team with 16. The Oklahoma City guard was just 2-of-7 from beyond the arc and failed to reach the 20-point mark for the first time in his last four games.
Jan 4, 2023
Delivers season-high point total
Giddey finished with a season-high 25 points (10-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and added five rebounds, five assists and two steals across 24 minutes in Tuesday's 150-117 win over the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (illness) sitting out, more of the scoring burden fell on Giddey, who responded with his third straight 20-plus-point performance and fourth in the past five contests. The second-year guard is shooting 53.5 percent from the field and 46.7 percent from three-point range during that five-game stretch, so while the increased offensive production is a nice development, some regression should be expected moving forward. Any reduction in Giddey's scoring should be in some part offset by a rise in assists; he's averaging 3.3 dimes per game over his last three outings, well below his season-long rate (5.4 per game).
Dec 31, 2022
Another 20-point effort Saturday
Giddey contributed 20 points (9-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 32 minutes during Saturday's 115-96 loss to Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
Giddey continued what has been a nice offensive period, scoring at least 20 points for the third time in his past four games. After a sluggish start to the season, he has been able to put up top-55 value over the past week, averaging 16.0 points to go with 8.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists. He is quietly making up for lost time, something that should come as a relief to managers.
Dec 29, 2022
Notches another double-double
Giddey recorded 21 points (7-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Thursday's 121-113 loss to the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Giddey finished with yet another double-double, his third such performance in the last five outings. Giddey has recorded at least 10 points and 10 boards in 13 appearances this season.
Dec 24, 2022
Strong double-double in loss
Giddey logged 20 points (9-15 FG, 2-3 3Pt), 10 rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal across 34 minutes during Friday's 128-125 overtime loss to New Orleans.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was extremely efficient as a scorer but also filled the stat sheet admirably, contributing in each of the five major categories and ending just six assists shy from posting a triple-double. He's on an impressive run of late and has scored in double digits in 10 games in a row, averaging 15.6 points, 9.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game in that span.
Dec 21, 2022
Good to go Wednesday
Giddey (illness) is available for Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was initially listed as out before being upgraded to questionable and is now available. He'll return following a two-game absence and is expected to rejoin the starting five. In December, he's averaged 15.6 points, 9.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 31.9 minutes.
Dec 21, 2022
Upgraded to questionable
Giddey (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was initially ruled out for a third consecutive game Wednesday, but he'll have a chance to play through his illness against Portland. If Giddey is still sidelined, Aaron Wiggins will likely draw another start for Oklahoma City.
Dec 20, 2022
Out Wednesday
Giddey (illness) is out Wednesday against the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey will be sidelined for a third game as he recovers from an illness. Aaron Wiggins is a strong candidate to draw another start and see a more prominent role.
Dec 18, 2022
Ruled out again
Giddey (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup against Portland.
ANALYSIS
Giddey will miss a second straight contest due to an illness. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (back) is also out, so Isiah Joe and Jalen Williams figure to remain in the starting lineup for at least one more game.
Dec 17, 2022
Absent Saturday
Giddey (illness) will not play in Saturday's game against the Grizzlies, Nick Crain of Forbes.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey will get the night off after playing 30 minutes in Friday's game along with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (back). Isaiah Joe, Aaron Wiggins and Tre Mann will be in line for larger workloads Saturday. Giddey's next chance to play will come Monday against the Trail Blazers.
Dec 17, 2022
Nabs questionable tag
Giddey is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Grizzlies due to a non-COVID illness.
ANALYSIS
Giddey played 30 minutes in Friday's game versus the Timberwolves, but it appears he must have awakened Saturday feeling under the weather. The team will give him time to recuperate during the day before a final decision on his status is made.
Dec 15, 2022
Another double-double in loss
Giddey ended Wednesday's 110-108 loss to the Heat with 19 points (9-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt), 11 rebounds and seven assists in 36 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey scored 13 of his 19 points in the second half on 6-of-8 shooting from the field while also adding eight rebounds over the final two quarters to mark his fifth double-double in his last seven games. The Thunder guard shot 60 percent from the floor in the contest, marking the only time he's shot above 60 percent since Nov. 13 against the Knicks. He'll look to build off that performance and help Oklahoma City snap its four-game losing streak against the Timberwolves on Friday.
Dec 11, 2022
Cleans up glass in win
Giddey finished with 17 points (7-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block in 38 minutes in Sunday's 110-102 loss to the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey's assist production has been trending down of late, but he's still managed to claim four double-doubles in his last five games thanks to some improved efficiency from distance along with increased involvement on the boards. The 20-year-old's perimeter shot is still a work in progress, but he's found his stroke of late, knocking down 1.6 treys per game at a 42.1 percent clip over his last five outings.
Dec 8, 2022
Grabs eighth double-double
Giddey finished Wednesday's 123-102 loss to the Grizzlies with 10 points (4-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt), 10 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 27 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey didn't have one of his better nights shooting the ball, going just 1-of-6 from the field for three points in the first half to go along with six rebounds. He contributed only seven more points in the second half on 3-of-7 shooting while grabbing another four boards to notch his eighth double-double of the season. The Thunder guard shot just 30.8 percent in the contest, his lowest shooting percentage since Nov. 1, though the double-double was his third in his last four games.
Dec 6, 2022
Solid showing in Monday's win
Giddey supplied 17 points (5-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 28 minutes during Monday's 121-114 win over Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Twelve of his points came in the final frame as the Thunder erased a 14-point third-quarter deficit. Giddey hasn't taken a huge step forward in his second season but his production keeps inching up, and over his last 12 games the 20-year-old's averaging 15.7 points, 8.0 boards and 5.8 assists.
Dec 4, 2022
Enjoys big all-around night
Giddey racked up 21 points (8-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 12 rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and two steals across 33 minutes during Saturday's 135-128 victory over the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Giddey finally managed to drill a three, marking his first made triple since Nov. 23 against Denver. Saturday marked his most made threes in a game this season, and he wasn't done there, as he secured his second straight double-double. Giddey is averaging 14.7 points, 8.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists on 44.1 shooting from the field over his last 10 appearances.
Nov 29, 2022
Double-digit scoring streak ends
Giddey provided seven points (3-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 28 minutes during Monday's 105-101 loss to the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
After 10 straight games of scoring in double digits, Giddey couldn't get going against the Pelicans. Uncharacteristically, Giddey also has just three total assists in the past two games. His box scores are all over the place, making him difficult to trust on a game-to-game basis, but he's still holding 12-team fantasy value. Giddey's primary barrier to better numbers is his poor shooting. He's making just 25.9 percent of his 3.0 three-point attempts per game and just 67.9 percent of his 1.6 free-throw attempts per game.
Nov 27, 2022
Steady in loss
Giddey logged 18 points (7-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-7 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal across 28 minutes during Saturday's 118-105 loss to Houston.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was steady on offense throughout the game, scoring at least four points in every quarter to finish with 18 on the night, which was second on the team to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (32). The Thunder guard made a season-high four of seven free throws but only attempted (and missed) one three-pointer for the second game in a row. He's just 1-of-12 from beyond the arc over his last five games, though he still recorded 18 or more points in three of those contests.
Nov 26, 2022
One shy of triple-double
Giddey closed Friday's 123-119 overtime victory over the Bulls with 10 points (5-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 13 rebounds, nine assists and one block across 38 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey needed just one more assist to notch his second triple-double of the season. The second-year guard's playmaking abilities continue to be a bright spot, but he's actually leading his team in rebounds as well. In 16 games played, he's averaging 14.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 6.0 assists in 30.6 minutes.
Nov 22, 2022
Stellar final stat line
Giddey ended with 18 points (8-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 34 minutes during Monday's 129-119 loss to the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey fell one rebound shy of a double-double and shot over 50 percent from the field. He's scored in double figures in seven straight matchups and was also able to pick up his first steal since Nov. 11 against Toronto. Giddey is averaging 15.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 5.8 assists through 14 contests this year.
Nov 19, 2022
Leads team with double-double
Giddey finished with 20 points (10-20 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six rebounds, 11 assists and one block in 37 minutes during Friday's 121-110 loss to Memphis.
ANALYSIS
Giddey posted an all-around performance in Friday's loss, leading the team in scoring, assists and shots made while finishing four rebounds shy of a triple-double. Giddey has recorded 20 or more points with 10 or more rebounds in two games this season.
Nov 13, 2022
Triple-double in win
Giddey had 24 points (10-14 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds and 12 assists in 37 minutes during Sunday's 145-135 win over the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey filled the box score Sunday by shooting efficiently, facilitating the offense and grabbing defensive boards. It was his first triple-double of the season and the fifth of his career. After making just 42.5 percent of his shot attempts through his first eight appearances, he's 16-for-23 with 39 combined points over the last two games.
Nov 10, 2022
Big numbers against Bucks
Giddey ended Wednesday's 136-132 double-overtime loss to Milwaukee with 18 points (9-19 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 15 rebounds and six assists across 44 minutes.
ANALYSIS
The second-year guard has yet to record a triple-double in 2022-23 after producing four of them as a rookie, but Giddey remains a threat to do so seemingly every night. His 15 boards were a season high, and he has delivered four double-doubles in eight games so far -- three involving rebounds and one with assists.
Nov 6, 2022
Decent output in loss
Giddey recorded 15 points (6-14 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds and two assists over 26 minutes during Saturday's 108-94 loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey established himself as an efficient, stat-filling threat in his rookie year, and he has continued with the same numbers in his second year in The Association. The Australian has scored in double digits in all but one game this season while also putting up at least five assists in four of his last five contests.
Nov 1, 2022
Quiet in return Tuesday
Giddey chipped in seven points (3-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, 10 assists, one block and one steal across 25 minutes during Tuesday's 116-108 victory over the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was tentative in his return, posting a modest line when compared to his usual standards. There is obviously no need to panic here given his role is assured. His playing time should continue to climb over the next few games, as should his production. Of course, there is always a chance the Thunder opt to manage him by inserting a couple of rest days but that is not something managers can plan around at this point.
Nov 1, 2022
Playing Tuesday
Giddey (ankle) will play Tuesday against the Magic, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After three straight absences, Giddey is making his return. That will presumably mean fewer minutes for the likes of Jalen Williams and Aaron Wiggins.
Nov 1, 2022
Upgraded to questionable
Giddey (ankle) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Magic.
ANALYSIS
While Giddey was previously ruled out for Tuesday's game, his participation in Monday's practice went well enough for him to have an opportunity to play against the Magic. If Giddey does play, Tre Mann and Jalen Williams should see a significant decrease in minutes compared to their workload Saturday.
Oct 31, 2022
Ruled out Tuesday
Giddey (ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against Orlando.
ANALYSIS
Giddey participated in Monday's practice session, but he'll be held out of a fourth consecutive game as he continues to deal with a right ankle sprain. His next opportunity to return will be Thursday against the Nuggets.
Oct 31, 2022
Practices Monday
Giddey (ankle) participated in Monday's practice, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has missed three consecutive games due to a right ankle sprain but was able to compete in Monday's practice. However, his status still remains uncertain for Tuesday's contest against the Magic.
Oct 28, 2022
Still sidelined Saturday
Giddey (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has been dealing with a sprained right ankle since last weekend and will be sidelined for a third consecutive game. Tre Mann, Aaron Wiggins and Lindy Waters should continue to see increased run against Dallas.
Oct 26, 2022
Remains out Thursday
Giddey (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Clippers, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has been dealing with a right ankle sprain since Sunday and will be unavailable for a second consecutive game. Tre Mann, Aaron Wiggins and Lindy Waters should see additional playing time against the Clippers, while Giddey's next chance to suit up will be Saturday against Dallas.
Oct 24, 2022
Won't play Tuesday
Giddey (ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey sustained a right ankle sprain during Sunday's matchup against Minnesota and will be forced to miss at least one game. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (hip) is also unavailable, so Tre Mann, Lindy Waters and Aaron Wiggins should be in line for increased work in the backcourt.
Oct 23, 2022
Departs with sprained ankle
Giddey left Sunday night's game against the Timberwolves with a sprained right ankle and will not return, Tim MacMahon of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey appeared to roll his ankle midway through the third quarter, and after heading back to the locker room for further evaluation he was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the night. Consider Giddey day-to-day heading into Tuesday's game against the Clippers. Prior to exiting, Giddey posted 10 points (5-11 FG, 0-2 3 Pt), five assists and two rebounds in 22 minutes.
Oct 20, 2022
Double-doubles in season opener
Giddey logged 14 points (6-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt), 11 rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 115-108 loss to Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
Giddey needed 14 shots just to score 14 points and wasn't really efficient from three-point range, but those shooting woes are always expected with him. As he showed in different moments throughout last season, Giddey's value will rely more on his ability to stuff the box score rather than just being a pure scoring threat. He averaged 12.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.4 assists per contest in 2021-22.
Oct 15, 2022
Team option exercised
The Thunder picked up Giddey's third-year option for the 2023-24 season, Andrew Schlecht of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey had an impressive rookie season, averaging 12.5 points, 7.8 rebounds. 6.4 assists and 0.9 steals in 31.5 minutes across 54 games in 2021-22. After shooting 8-of-15 from three-point range this preseason, there is optimism that Giddey has improved upon his biggest weakness from last season.
Oct 14, 2022
Stuffs stat sheet in preseason win
Giddey finished with 18 points (7-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, six assists and two steals in Thursday's win over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Giddey put together another strong all-around effort in the preseason finale, placing second on the team in points and rebounds while tying for first in assists. Just as promisingly, he shot an efficient 7-for-13 from the field to wrap up a strong exhibition slate during which he posted a 52.8 percent field-goal rate that included an 8-for-15 mark from three-point range. Giddey is already going in rounds 4-6 in many fantasy drafts due to his all-around skill set, and he could outperform his ADP if he's able to improve upon his 41.9 percent mark from the field as a rookie last season.
Oct 11, 2022
Starting Tuesday
Giddey (rest) will start Tuesday's game against the Pistons, Keith Langlois of the Pistons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey took a seat for Sunday's contest to get a breather but is back in action Tuesday alongside Tre Mann. He should slot in as a regular in the starting lineup again in 2022-23, looking to build off of an impressive rookie campaign.
Oct 9, 2022
Will rest Sunday
Giddey (rest) won't play in the Thunder's exhibition game Sunday, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey scored a team-high 13 points during Wednesday's preseason loss to Dallas, but he remain out Sunday due to rest. He'll have two more opportunities to play in the preseason before the team opens the regular season against the Timberwolves on Oct. 19.
Oct 6, 2022
Leads OKC with 13 points Wednesday
Giddey tallied 13 points (6-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three assists, two rebounds and three steals over 17 minutes in a preseason loss to Dallas on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Giddey didn't approach the numbers that resulted in him falling one assist shy of a triple-double in OKC's preseason opener, but he still led the team in scoring and steals and tied for the lead in assists Wednesday. He's shot well from the field so far in the preseason, making 12 of 21 shots after shooting just 41.9 percent as a rookie last season. Given his ability to contribute as a rebounder and distributor, Giddey's fantasy stock could shoot through the roof if he's able to raise his scoring and shooting marks in his sophomore campaign.
Oct 4, 2022
Just misses preseason triple-double
Giddey registered 14 points (6-11 FG, 2-2 3Pt), 12 rebounds, nine assists, two steals and one block over 25 minutes in an exhibition 112-101 win against the Nuggets on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was outstanding in Denver's preseason opener, finishing third on the team with 14 points and leading all players with 12 boards and nine dimes. The performance was a reminder of the all-around skill set Giddey desplayed as a rookie last season, when he tallied four triple-doubles and averaged 12.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.4 assists across 54 contests. Giddey's scoring and shooting may be a question mark, but his ability to put up numbers across the board make him a popular selection in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts this season.

Healthy heading in to preseason
Giddey told news.com.au "The body's feeling good, ready to go" following a hip injury that caused the second-year guard to miss the last month and a half of the 2021-22 season.
ANALYSIS
This is another positive development in Giddey's recovery process, after participating in five games of Summer League with a stat line of 12.8 points, 8.8 assists and 6.2 rebounds. The 19-year-old is expected enter the season at full health and should maintain his status as the Thunder's second offensive option behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, considering Chet Holmgren (foot) has been ruled out for the entirety of the season. With 54 games under his belt, look for Giddey to build upon an impressive rookie season and establish himself as a critical piece of a rebuilding Oklahoma City roster.
Jul 13, 2022
Shut down for the summer
Giddey (not injury related) won't play in Oklahoma City's remaining Summer League games, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey suffered a hip injury in February that caused him to miss the remainder of the 2021-22 season, but he was able to return to the court for Summer League where he's performed well in the five games he's appeared in. The 19-year-old averaged 12.8 points, 8.8 assists and 6.2 rebounds per contest this summer prior to being shut down, and he even recorded a triple-double against the Grizzlies on July 6. There's plenty to be optimistic about as the young guard enters his second year in the league.
Mar 26, 2022
Ruled out for season
Giddey (hip) has been ruled out for the season, Nick Crain of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has been sidelined since late February, and the Thunder ultimately decided to shut him down for the rest of the season. Giddey shined in his rookie season, averaging 12.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.0 threes in 31 minutes per game over 54 appearances. He should have ample time to get back to 100 percent before next season, and he could be even more productive with his first stateside campaign behind him.
Mar 26, 2022
Remains out indefinitely
Giddey (hip) is listed as out for Saturday's game against the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Giddey remained limited at practice earlier in the week, so it's very much unclear when he might return to game action. Given the Thunder's status as a tanking team, there won't be any rush to get Giddey back on the floor, but he's a major part of the franchise's future, so they shouldn't have too much motivation to hold him out.
Mar 18, 2022
Out at least another week
Coach Mark Daigneault said Friday that Giddey (hip) will be re-evaluated at the end of next week, Nick Crain of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has been sidelined since Feb. 25 due to his hip injury, and he'll be forced to miss at least another week. The rookie showed promise to begin the year by averaging 12.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.4 assists in 31.5 minutes per game across 54 appearances, but he might not return to the court in time to provide much value for the tail end of the fantasy playoffs.
Mar 5, 2022
Out couple more weeks
Coach Mark Daigneault won't have an update on Giddey's (hip) injury for a "couple of weeks," Rylan Stiles of BricktownBuckets.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Given that many fantasy seasons in late March, this could effectively spell the end of Giddey's debut fantasy campaign. He's been out since Feb. 25, and the Thunder have no reason to rush the rookie back. In his continued absence, more minutes should remain available for Tre Mann, Aaron Wiggins (ankle) and other backcourt options. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has also been on a tear in Giddey's absence.
Feb 28, 2022
Likely to miss time beyond Monday
Giddey (hip), who was ruled out ahead of Monday's game against the Kings, appears likely to miss additional time, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports. "It could be a minute," head coach Mark Daigneault said, regarding the length of Giddey's absence. "[Giddey] is not day-to-day."
ANALYSIS
With that, fantasy managers should conservatively plan for Giddey to miss Wednesday's game in Denver, though Daigneault's comments suggest the star rookie is in danger of missing Oklahoma City's entire four-game week. Tre Mann drew a second consecutive start out of the backcourt Monday with Giddey sidelined.
Feb 27, 2022
Ruled out for Monday's contest
Coach Mark Daigneault said Sunday that Giddey won't play Monday against the Kings, and the rookie "could miss some time" beyond that, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was a late addition to Friday's injury report, and as is usually the case with late additions, he was sidelined for the second half of the Thunders' back-to-back. Based on Daigneault's comments, the rookie may be looking at an extended absence, but until there's further clarification, fantasy managers should continue to monitor Giddey on a game-by-game basis. In his absence, Aaron Wiggins and Tre Mann should once again see increased run.
Feb 25, 2022
Unavailable Friday
Giddey has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Pacers due to right hip soreness.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was a late addition to Friday's injury report, and he'll be unavailable for the second half of a back-to-back set. Aaron Wiggins and Tre Mann should see increased run against Indiana.
Feb 19, 2022
Does dirty work for Team Worthy
Giddey record two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), nine rebounds and six assists during Friday's 50-49 loss to Team Isiah during the Rising Stars competition at All-Star Weekend.
ANALYSIS
Giddey played his typical game during the All-Star festivities, as he finished with team highs in rebounds (nine) and assists (seven). The rookie only took two shots during the contest and finished with just two points, but his two missed free throws certainly loom large as Team Worthy eventually lost by a single point in the Rising Stars new format.
Feb 17, 2022
Triple-double not enough in loss
Giddey supplied 17 points (8-18 FG, 1-4 3Pt), 10 rebounds, 10 assists and one steal across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 114-106 loss to the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Giddey might have needed 18 shots to score 17 points, but those efficiency issues do not matter much if the rookie continues to deliver these stat lines almost on a daily basis. Firmly entrenched as a core piece of the franchise's future, Giddey has been nothing short of excellent in recent weeks. He's averaging 16.4 points, 8.7 rebounds and 7.9 assists per game while putting up a triple-double in each of his last three contests.
Feb 15, 2022
Triple-doubles once again
Giddey closed Monday's 127-123 overtime win over the Knicks with 28 points (11-22 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-6 FT), 11 rebounds, 12 assists and one steal across 39 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has emerged as one of the most versatile rookies in recent memory and recorded a triple-double for the second game in a row. In fact, the promising guard has already recorded five triple-doubles on the season. He will try to extend this sizzling stretch of play when the Thunder take on the Spurs on Wednesday.
Feb 12, 2022
Triple-double against Bulls
Giddey scored 11 points (4-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding 12 rebounds and 10 assists in 33 minutes during Saturday's 106-101 loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
It was another impressive performance for the rookie, who delivered his second triple-double of the season and his fourth time recording both double-digit boards and dimes. The Thunder are keeping a careful eye on Giddey's workload, but over his last 10 games he's still averaging 14.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 6.4 assists.
Feb 7, 2022
Will be on minutes restriction
Giddey will be held to approximately 30 minutes going forward, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports. He finished Monday's game againt the Warriors with 16 points (6-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 11 rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 30 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Giddey saw fewer minutes than Tre Mann (35), Luguentz Dort (38) and Darius Bazley (37) in the loss, and this should continue to be the case at least for the next few games. It sounds as though the Thunder want to keep Giddey from burning out this early in the season, and it's certainly not out of the question for the coaching staff to lift this restriction later on. Ty Jerome and Mann should benefit from a minutes perspective in the meantime.
Feb 6, 2022
Registers career-best scoring total
Giddey supplied 24 points (10-19 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-5 FT), four rebounds and eight assists in 38 minutes during Saturday's 113-103 loss to Sacramento.
ANALYSIS
Giddey led Oklahoma City in scoring in the contest, posting a career-best point total in the process. The rookie also led the team in assists. Giddey has emerged as an exciting multi-category asset in fantasy, as he is averaging 12.0 points, 7.5 boards, 6.1 dimes and 1.0 seals across 47 games this season.
Feb 5, 2022
Scores 16 with seven boards
Giddey totaled 16 points (7-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt), seven rebounds, three assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Friday's 96-93 victory over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey helped propel the Thunder to a third straight victory and scored in double figures for the fourth straight game. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle) sidelined, Giddey has emerged as OKC's primary initiator, and he holds averages of 14.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.0 steals over the last four contests. He does have 16 turnovers during that span, however.
Feb 1, 2022
Registers double-double Monday
Giddey supplied 14 points (5-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds, four assists and one block over 33 minutes during Monday's 98-81 win over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was the only player to collect double-digit boards in the contest, and he finished with his second straight double-double. The 19-year-old has posted 11 double-doubles on the campaign, tops among all rookies. Giddey finishes January with per-game averages of 13.3 points, 8.6 boards, 6.1 assists, 1.4 three-pointers and 1.0 steals on the month, and he should have even greater opportunity to thrive at the start of February with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle) expected to be out through the All-Star break.
Jan 23, 2022
Off night in loss
Giddey finished with eight points (3-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists and two steals over 34 minutes before fouling out of Saturday's 94-87 loss to Cleveland.
ANALYSIS
Giddey put in 34 minutes of work but ended up with his worst scoring total of the month in the defeat. He shot an abysmal 25 percent from the floor and was 1-of-6 from three-point range. The Thunder depend on Giddey, as their second-best scoring option behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and while this blip on the radar is worthy of some concern, Giddey's line is an outlier among his other performances this season.
Jan 19, 2022
Near triple-double in loss
Giddey provided nine points (4-16 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds and eight assists in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 118-96 loss to the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Despite a poor shooting performance, Giddey picked up the slack in rebounds and assists and narrowly missed a triple-double. It would have been his second one this season already, as Giddey accomplished the feat against the Mavericks on Jan. 2. The Australian's nine points Wednesday snapped a streak of eight straight games in double figures offensively.
Jan 16, 2022
Puts up double-double
Giddey recorded 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt), 10 rebounds, three assists and one block across 30 minutes during Saturday's 107-102 loss to the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has been one of the most productive, versatile rookies this season and has been thriving due to his ability to fill the stat sheet on a regular basis. The rookie has scored in double digits in each of his last seven contests -- his longest streak of the season -- and has four double-doubles in that span.
Jan 14, 2022
Ties season high with 19 points
Giddey contributed 19 points (8-17 FG, 3-11 3Pt), three rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Thursday's 130-109 win over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Giddey's rebound total was his lowest in 16 games, but he made up for the quiet night on the boards by matching his season-high scoring mark. The rookie also dished seven dimes, trailing only Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for the team lead in that category. Giddey continues to impress as an all-around contributor for fantasy managers -- he is posting per-game averages of 11.5 points, 7.3 boards, 6.4 assists, 1.1 three-pointers and 1.1 steals on the campaign.
Jan 11, 2022
Stuffs stat sheet again
Giddey notched 18 points (8-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt), six rebounds, eight assists and two steals over 36 minutes during Tuesday's 122-118 loss to the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Giddey continues to regularly flirt with triple-doubles, though he has just one on the year. Tuesday's effort was his fifth straight game with at least 10 points, five rebounds and five assists. Plus, it was his best scoring effort since Dec. 20, when he had a career-high 19 points.
Jan 8, 2022
Quiet night in loss
Giddey ended with 10 points (3-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Friday's 135-105 loss to the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
After averaging 15.5 points, 14.0 rebounds and 10.0 assists over his last two games, Giddey's performance Friday left fantasy managers wanting more. The rookie first-round pick is averaging 11.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 30.4 minutes and has certainly proved to be worthy of more than just streaming consideration.
Jan 6, 2022
Active at both ends Wednesday
Giddey provided 14 points (6-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt), 15 rebounds, six assists and one steal across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 98-90 loss to the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Giddey was coming off a triple-double Sunday against the Mavericks, and he ended just four assists away from repeating that feat for the second game in a row. The rookie out of Australia has been one of the best players for the Thunder this season and is slowly becoming fantasy-relevant due to his ability to fill the stat sheet on a regular basis. Through his last 10 games, Giddey is averaging 12.4 points, 9.5 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.2 steals per contest.
Jan 3, 2022
Triple-doubles in loss Sunday
Giddey supplied 17 points (7-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt), 13 rebounds, 14 assists and four steals in 36 minutes during Sunday's 95-86 loss to the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Giddey had an excellent performance across the board, as he recorded his first triple-double of the season while making his presence felt on both ends of the court. He now has two double-doubles and one triple-double since the beginning of December and should experience an uptick on his upside with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander sidelined due to the league's health and safety protocols.
Jan 1, 2022
Exits protocols
Giddey (COVID-19 protocols) has exited protocols and is off the injury report for Sunday against the Mavericks, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey last played Dec. 26, so this was a relatively short stint in protocols for the rookie. He could take on increased usage once available since Shai Gilgeous-Alexander entered protocols Friday. In December, Giddey averaged 11.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 6.7 assists in 31.5 minutes.
Dec 28, 2021
Placed in protocols
Giddey was placed in the league's health and safety protocols Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The rookie is the latest player to enter protocols, joining teammates Tre Mann, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Aleksej Pokusevski and Darius Bazley. Given the NBA's updated quarantine policy, Giddey could miss as few as six days, so the hope is that he can return to the team early next week.
Dec 24, 2021
Compiles 17 points in loss
Giddey closed with 17 points (7-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Thursday's 113-101 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
The rookie put up another solid line in the loss after dishing out a career-high 11 assists two games ago in Memphis. The Kentucky product is the Thunder's second scoring option behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and although fellow freshman Cade Cunningham continues to steal most of the headlines, Giddey is a strong candidate for Rookie of the Year through the first 30 games of the season.
Dec 21, 2021
Dishes career-high 11 dimes in win
Giddey provided 19 points (7-16 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-6 FT), five rebounds, 11 assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Monday's 102-99 victory over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Giddey turned in another intriguing performance Monday, notching a double-double, including a career-high 11 assists. Despite the fact the scoring is not always up to scratch, he certainly knows how to contribute in multiple categories. He isn't one of the bigger names when it comes to rookies but given his consistent role and subsequent production, he has to at least be in the conversation for Rookie of the Year.
Dec 19, 2021
Crashes glass in win
Giddey finished with eight points (4-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 18 rebounds and 10 assists across 32 minutes Saturday in the Thunder's 104-103 win over the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
The rebound total was a new career high for the rookie, who previously snared 12 boards on two occasions earlier in the season. Though poor shooting from the field prevented him from securing a triple-double, Giddey's multi-category production more so than his scoring output is what has made him a valuable commodity for fantasy managers. Through his first 26 NBA games, Giddey is averaging 7.2 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.6 blocks.
Dec 15, 2021
Strong all-around line in loss
Giddey supplied 17 points (8-18 FG, 1-5 3Pt), nine rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 37 minutes during Wednesday's 113-110 loss to the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
While the Thunder lost on a last-second heave by Devonte' Graham, it was another strong performance for the No. 6 overall pick, who's scored in double figures in 10 of his last 12 games. His field goal percentage remains the biggest drag on his fantasy value, but Giddey is offering consistent production as a scorer, passer, rebounder and defender (1.6 combined steals/blocks per game) while approaching 1.0 made three-pointer per game.
Dec 11, 2021
Stuffs stat sheet in loss
Giddey racked up 12 points (5-12 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Friday's 116-95 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
The Thunder might have lost against the Lakers, but Giddey had a strong performance and was able to leave his mark on both ends of the court. His three-point shooting was off, but that shouldn't be a surprise since he's making just 25.9 percent of his treys to date. Either way, the rookie out of Australia certainly impressed once again. He's now scored at least 12 points in each of his last three contests.

Back in starting five Monday
Giddey will start Monday's game against the Pistons, Andrew Schlecht of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
As expected, the rookie will be back in the mix after missing a pair of games with a non-COVID illness. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (concussion) will also return for OKC, so both Tre Mann and Ty Jerome, who started Thursday's record-setting loss at Memphis, will head back to the bench.
Dec 5, 2021
Available at Detroit
Giddey (illness) is available against the Pistons on Monday.
ANALYSIS
The Thunder released their injury report, and Giddey was not on it. His omission indicates he will return after sitting out two games because of a non-COVID illness. Giddey averaged 10.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 5.9 assists across 14 matchups during November.
Dec 5, 2021
Practices again, not fully cleared
Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault confirmed that Giddey (illness) practiced for the second straight day Sunday and is no longer positive for the flu, but the rookie is still experiencing some symptoms, Nick Crain of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey and center Derrick Favors have missed multiple games due to their illnesses, but both look on track to return to the lineup at some point during the upcoming week. Whether that happens in Monday's game against the Pistons or at some point later in the week will likely be determined based on where Giddey stands from a conditioning standpoint following the Thunder's shootaround early Monday. Meanwhile, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander took part in non-contact work Sunday but still hasn't cleared the concussion protocol, so Giddey could be needed to handle more playmaking duties for the Thunder if he suits up Monday and if Gilgeous-Alexander misses a second straight contest.
Dec 4, 2021
Practices Saturday
Giddey (illness) practiced Saturday, Steve McGehee of News 9 Oklahoma City reports.
ANALYSIS
The rookie has missed the past two games due to an illness, which included the Thunder's history-making 152-79 loss to the Grizzlies. Giddey had been on a nice seven-game stretch where he was averaging 12.9 points, 8.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 30.6 minutes. He should tentatively be considered questionable for Monday's action against the Pistons.
Dec 1, 2021
Out due to illness
Giddey (illness) will not play Wednesday against Houston.
ANALYSIS
The good news is Giddey did not test positive for COVID-19, but he could still miss a game or two as the Thunder head into a Wednesday/Thursday back-to-back set. The rookie is coming off of a rough shooting night Monday against the Rockets, when he posted just two points on 1-of-9 shooting (0-5 3Pt) to go with seven assists, five boards, one steal and two blocks.
Nov 29, 2021
Horrific night offensively in loss
Giddey posted two points (1-9 FG, 0-5 3Pt), five rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and one steal in 25 minutes during Monday's 102-89 loss to the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Giddey finished with a horrific night offensively, as the guard managed just one field-goal attempt across nine tries and missed all of his takes from three. However, Giddey picked up the slack and contributed well in rebounds and assists. It was his fourth straight matchup with at least five rebounds and four assists. Currently, Giddey leads the Thunder in rebounds and assists.
Nov 22, 2021
Flirts with triple-double Monday
Giddey chipped in 15 points (6-13 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and one steal in 31 minutes during Monday's 113-101 loss to Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Giddey tied a team-high during the Thunder loss, as the forward reached the 14-point mark for a fourth straight game. The rookie also nearly finished with his first career triple-double, ultimately needing just three more rebounds and two more assists. Giddey has currently posted three double-doubles this season.
Nov 20, 2021
Posts double-double in loss
Giddey logged 14 points (6-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 12 rebounds and four assists in 32 minutes during Friday's 96-89 loss to Milwaukee.
ANALYSIS
Giddey has two double-doubles this season and both have come in back-to-back contests. The first-round pick has quickly settled himself as a starter for the Thunder and while he's still raw around the edges, he's found ways to produce. Through 15 games, the Australian big man is averaging 9.7 points and 7.3 rebounds across 29.5 minutes per game.
Nov 17, 2021
Double-doubles in win
Giddey provided 14 points (7-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt), 11 rebounds, two assists and one block across 34 minutes during Wednesday's 101-89 victory over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Giddey finally found some rhythm on the offensive end of the floor, scoring in double-digits for just the second time this month. His peripheral production keeps his fantasy value afloat even when his shot isn't dropping, and so nights like this are an added bonus. The young rookie should absolutely be rostered in all 12-team leagues, and knowing what we know about the Thunder's trajectory, his value could continue to increase as the season progresses.
Nov 11, 2021
Flirts with triple-double Wednesday
Giddey closed with seven points (3-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt), 12 rebounds, nine assists and one steal in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 108-100 victory over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
It was another well-rounded performance for the young Aussie, falling just short of a triple-double. Despite his inconsistent offensive production, Giddey has been a reliable source of just about everything else. The Thunder are heavily invested at this point and so he is going to be out on the court as much as humanly possible. If this is his fantasy floor, his ceiling could be a lot of fun.
Nov 2, 2021
Looks good again Monday
Giddey finished Monday's loss to the Clippers with 15 points (6-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven assists, five rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots over 35 minutes.
ANALYSIS
The rookie made his mark across the stat sheet in the loss, leading OKC with seven dimes and tying for second on the team in scoring while posting helpful defensive stats. Giddey has played over 30 minutes in three of his past five contests and appears to be taking on a playmaking role in the Thunder's offense, as he is averaging 6.8 assists over that span. Giddey's additional contributions of 13.8 points, 5.6 boards and 1.8 steals over the five-game stretch have helped him gain traction as a fantasy asset, and he should be given plenty of opportunity to continue to develop for the rebuilding Thunder as the campaign unfolds.
Oct 28, 2021
Records double-double
Giddey mustered 18 points (7-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 10 assists, two rebounds and a steal across 32 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
This was Giddey's first double-double in The Association, and the first-round pick in this year's draft has delivered some solid performances of late while starting in each of the Thunder's first five games. He has scored at least 18 points in two of his last three appearances while also posting strong rebounding numbers and decent passing figures. He is averaging 10.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.6 assists per tilt thus far.
Oct 27, 2021
Respectable final line
Giddey accumulated seven points (3-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt), nine rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block in 27 minutes on Tuesday, as the Thunder fell to the Warriors 106-98.
ANALYSIS
The 6' 8" Giddey is consistently making an impact on the glass, recording at least eight rebounds in three of four games. There will be growing pains for the 19-year-old, but the Thunder are seemingly willing to let him learn on the fly. Giddey and the Thunder return to the court Wednesday against the Lakers.
Oct 24, 2021
Scores 19 with four steals
Giddey finished Sunday's loss to the 76ers with 19 points (8-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists and four steals.
ANALYSIS
After two lackluster showings to begin his NBA career, Giddey had easily his best game yet, putting up a well-rounded stat line in 34 minutes of action. Like most rookies, Giddey's production will be difficult to predict night-to-night, but the good news for fantasy managers is that the No. 6 pick in 2021 has already locked down a starting spot on a team willing to give its young players an extra-long leash.
Oct 22, 2021
Struggles again Friday
Giddey managed just six points (2-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block in 20 minutes during Friday's 124-91 loss to Houston.
ANALYSIS
Giddey is going to have to get used to losing it appears, after the Thunder were comprehensively beaten once again. It has been a rough start to his NBA career and for those who drafted the young Aussie, patience is almost certainly going to be required. His peripheral production should be enough to keep him relevant but if you are looking for high volume output, you may need to focus elsewhere.
Oct 21, 2021
Rough start to NBA career
Giddey managed just four points (2-7 FG), 10 rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 107-86 loss to the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
After an impressive preseason, Giddey came crashing back to earth against the Jazz. While he did manage double-digit rebounds, the offense was sketchy and his defensive production was non-existent. Of course, nights like this are to be expected from a player so young and the Jazz are typically an elite defensive unit. Despite this poor performance, Giddey remains worth rostering in 12-team leagues.
Oct 13, 2021
Puts up 14-6-3 in win
Giddey finished Wednesday's preseason game against Denver with 14 points (6-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal.
ANALYSIS
The No. 6 overall pick continued his strong preseason play, this time leading the Thunder in minutes (32) as he continues to get acclimated to the NBA game. The Thunder are yet to officially reveal their Opening Night lineup, but it looks as though Giddey will have a good chance to start alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luguentz Dort.
Oct 4, 2021
Shines in preseason debut
Giddey finished Monday's preseason opener against Charlotte with 18 points (8-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two turnovers.
ANALYSIS
In his first NBA action since departing Summer League with a sprained ankle, Giddey was extremely impressive in a team-high 29 minutes of action. He got the start alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Luguentz Dort, perhaps foreshadowing a three-guard lineup that could be the Thunder's go-to alignment to begin the regular season. The No. 6 pick in the 2021 Draft drilled a pair of three-pointers and finished with three assists, though he could have had several more, had teammates converted some of the open looks Giddey generated.
Oct 4, 2021
Starting preseason debut
Giddey will start Monday's preseason game against the Hornets, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports.
ANALYSIS
An ankle injury limited Giddey to only five minutes of action during Summer League in August, so this will be our first extended look at the No. 6 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. It appears as though Giddey will start as the nominal small forward alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luguentz Dort, Darius Bazley and Isaiah Roby. Head coach Mark Daigneault indicated that this could be his regular-season starting five, but given the Thunder's status as a rebuilding team stocked with young players, Daigneault will almost certainly experiment with several arrangements. Either way, this is an encouraging development for Giddey, who has impressed the coaching staff thus far in camp. We are looking at a lot of different things," Daigneault said pregame. "Giddey is a rookie but in camp he has shown us what we expected and he has picked things up quickly."
Aug 16, 2021
Out for finale
Giddey (ankle) will not play in Monday's Summer League game against the Spurs, Cody Taylor of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey is still battling the sprained left ankle he suffered during the opening minutes of his first Summer League appearance. While he's made progress over the last week, the Thunder will play it safe and hold the No. 6 overall pick out of what's ultimately a meaningless game.
Aug 14, 2021
Out Saturday
Giddey (ankle) remains out for Saturday's Summer League contest against the Pacers, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey is still dealing with an ankle injury suffered five minutes into his Summer League debut. His next chance to play will arrive Monday or Tuesday.
Aug 11, 2021
Out Wednesday
Giddey (ankle) is out for Wednesday's Summer League game against the Pelicans, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Giddey suffered an ankle injury during his Summer League debut, and he'll be unable to play Wednesday. His next opportunity to take the floor is Friday against the Warriors.
Aug 10, 2021
Day-to-day with ankle injury
Giddey (ankle) is considered day-to-day as he recovers from a sprained left ankle, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports.
ANALYSIS
The sixth overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft rolled his left ankle early in Sunday's summer league game against the Pistons, and his night was over after just five minutes of action. The good news is Giddey avoided a major injury, but it's possible the Thunder could be cautious and hold him out of another game or two. Oklahoma City is back in action Wednesday against New Orleans.
Aug 8, 2021
Out with sprained left ankle
Giddey will not return to Sunday's Las Vegas Summer League matchup against the Pistons due to a sprained left ankle, Marc Spears of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The injury occurred early in the first quarter, but Giddey insisted on remaining in the game, despite obvious discomfort. Eventually, the Thunder's medical staff opted to shut the rookie down for the remainder of the game. The hope is that Giddey -- the sixth overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft -- will be available for Wednesday's game against New Orleans. Prior to exiting, Giddey scored two points (1-3 FG) in five minutes of action.
