Mike Conley Injury News & Updates
Keep up with the latest injuries from the Timberwolves vs Warriors game on Friday with our National Basketball Association injury report.Dec 3, 2025
Downward trend continues
Conley supplied five points (1-5 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal over 13 minutes during Tuesday's 149-142 overtime win over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Conley has well and truly entered the twilight of his career, having now scored no more than six points in 12 of his past 13 games. At this point, his presence in the locker room far outweighs his value on the court. Through 21 games, he is putting up career-low numbers, averaging 5.7 points, 3.3 assists and 1.2 three-pointers in 19.5 minutes per contest.
Nov 21, 2025
Back to bench role
Conley is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Conley will return to his regular bench role now that Jaden McDaniels is back in the starting unit. Conley is averaging just 6.4 points, 3.7 assists and 1.2 three-pointers in 20.6 minutes per game this season, so he hasn't been very effective in terms of fantasy in a bench role.
Nov 19, 2025
Drops 10 points in start
Conley posted 10 points (1-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 7-9 FT), one rebound, six assists and one steal over 27 minutes during Wednesday's 120-109 win over the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Conley moved into the starting lineup, replacing Jaden McDaniels, who was ruled out with a wrist injury. While he did manage to score double-digits, it was just the third time he has achieved that feat thus far this season. Through 15 appearances, Conley is averaging just 6.4 points, 3.7 assists and 1.2 three-pointers in 20.6 minutes per game.
Nov 19, 2025
Starting Wednesday
Conley will move into the starting lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Wizards, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley is getting the start with Jaden McDaniels (wrist) unavailable, so he's on the radar as a potential streamer in deep leagues. Through four starts this season, Conley has registered averages of 9.3 points, 5.8 assists, 1.8 triples and 1.3 steals per game.
Nov 18, 2025
Tacks three steals in win
Conley closed with five points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists and three steals in 16 minutes during Monday's 120-96 win over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Conley has not been a threat offensively, never eclipsing the six-point mark in his last six games and the 10-point mark all season, but he was able to prove his value on the defensive end Monday, going for three steals. While he does not provide much standalone value, the veteran point guard could be worth adding if one of the starters were to go down, as he averages 9.3 points, 5.8 assists, 3.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 0.8 blocks in four starts this season.
Nov 5, 2025
Scores eight points with six dimes
Conley notched eight points (2-2 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six assists and one turnover in 18 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 137-114 loss to the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Conley provided some low-end value as a starter while Anthony Edwards was out, but with Edwards back in action and without limitations, Conley saw his minutes reduced back to the teens. While he was able to come through with a mediocre stat line in this one, that's simply not enough floor time for him to make a consistent impact in fantasy leagues.
Nov 5, 2025
Headed to bench
Conley will return to the second unit for Wednesday's game against the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Anthony Edwards is back from a four-game absence Wednesday night, and he will not have any minutes restrictions, so Conley's minutes figure to dip back down into the teens. Through three games as a reserve this season, Conley owns averages of 3.0 points and 1.7 assists in 15.5 minutes a night.
Nov 1, 2025
Serviceable effort in win
Conley ended with 10 points (3-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, six assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Saturday's 122-105 win over Charlotte.
ANALYSIS
The 10 points and six dimes both tied a season high for Conley, who has now dished out six assists in consecutive games. The veteran floor general's best fantasy days are likely behind him, though the door is open for a short-term boost in deep-league value while Anthony Edwards (hamstring) is injured. Conley has averaged 8.5 points, 5.0 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 26.9 minutes per game across his last four contests.
Oct 27, 2025
Starting sans Edwards
Conley will start in Monday's game against the Nuggets, Dane Moore of 'The Dane Moore NBA Podcast' reports.
ANALYSIS
The veteran point guard will get the starting nod against Denver due to Anthony Edwards (hamstring) being sidelined. Conley has averaged 3.0 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 15.3 minutes per game across three regular-season outings off the bench thus far.
Oct 26, 2025
Starts second half; scores six
Conley racked up six points (1-4 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), one rebound and four assists over 24 minutes during Sunday's 114-110 win over the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Conley started the second half of action with Anthony Edwards (hamstring) leaving early, but he didn't do much with the increased opportunity. Across 64 starts last season, Conley registered averages of 8.5 points, 4.6 assists, 1.9 triples, 1.2 steals and 1.1 turnovers per contest.
Oct 22, 2025
Opening season in bench role
Conley will come off the bench to begin the season, NBA reporter Chris Haynes reports.
ANALYSIS
The Timberwolves have instead decided that DiVincenzo will open the new year as their starting point guard. Conley's fantasy value was already on the decline ahead of his age-38 campaign, and it's likely going to be even more difficult for him to muster fantasy relevance from the second unit. Last regular season, the veteran floor general averaged just 5.6 points, 3.7 assists and 2.6 rebounds in 19.8 minutes per contest across six games off the bench.
Oct 21, 2025
Will play vs. Portland
Conley (rest) has been cleared to play in Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Conley sat out the preseason finale due to rest purposes. He'll be available to play and will likely be in the starting lineup to begin the 2025-26 campaign.
Oct 17, 2025
Resting Friday
Conley (rest) is out for Friday's preseason finale against the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
No surprise here, considering it's a quick turnaround for the veteran floor general from Thursday's exhibition tilt against the Bulls. The next time Conley takes the floor should be Wednesday's season opener against Portland.
Oct 17, 2025
Passive preseason continues
Conley totaled just three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt), six assists, two rebounds and one steal in 20 minutes during Thursday's preseason loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Conley returned after missing Monday's game against the Guangzhou Loong-Lions, moving straight back into the starting lineup. While it was good to see the veteran back on the court, his production, or lack thereof, remains a concern. Now in the twilight of his career, it appears as though his days of being anything but a floor general are behind him. The hope is that Donte DiVincenzo can serve as the team's primary point guard, at least in terms of tangible production.
Oct 16, 2025
Good to go vs. Bulls
Conley (rest) will play in Thursday's preseason game against the Bulls, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley didn't play in Monday's exhibition against the Guangzhou Loong-Lions, but he'll get some exhibition reps Thursday. The veteran floor general will be a rest candidate for Friday's preseason finale against the 76ers, though.
Oct 13, 2025
Remains out Monday
Conley (rest) will not play in Monday's exhibition against the Guangzhou Loong-Lions.
ANALYSIS
Conley will sit out his second consecutive preseason contest, opening the door for Rob Dillingham and Bones Hyland to start in the backcourt Monday. The veteran will have two more opportunities to tune up before the regular season begins, starting with Thursday's matchup against the Bulls.
Oct 9, 2025
Won't play Thursday
Conley (rest) will not suit up for Thursday's preseason game against the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Chris Finch is giving the veteran, Conley, a night off for an exhibition game, which will result in Donte DiVincenzo drawing a spot start. Conley's next chance to play will come next Thursday in Chicago.
Oct 8, 2025
Quiet in preseason debut
Conley totaled two points (2-2 FT), one rebound and one assist in 14 minutes during Tuesday's preseason loss to the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
After sitting out the first game of the preseason, Conley moved straight into the starting lineup Tuesday. While there had been some conjecture as to who would get the starting nod, it appears that Conley may be just ahead of Donte DiVincenzo in that discussion. With that said, Conley's days of being a productive basketball player appear to be well behind him. Even if he is given the starting nod come Opening Night, the expectation is that he may play no more than about 25 minutes per game.
Oct 7, 2025
Cleared for action vs. Indiana
Conley (rest) is set to play in Tuesday's preseason game against the Pacers, Dane Moore of 'The Dane Moore NBA Podcast' reports.
ANALYSIS
After taking a seat in Saturday's preseason opener against the Nuggets, Conley is slated to be available Tuesday. The veteran guard figures to see playing time in the first half before likely giving way to the likes of Rob Dillingham and Tristen Newton in the second half.
Oct 4, 2025
Not facing Denver
Conley (rest) won't play in Saturday's preseason contest against the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Conley is one of three regular starters who will rest in this preseason tune-up, as it will also be the case with Julius Randle and Anthony Edwards. Rob Dillingham will get the nod at point guard, while Conley's next chance to play will come against the Pacers in another preseason game next Tuesday.
Apr 11, 2025
Hands out nine assists
Conley contributed eight points (2-7 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, nine assists, one block and one steal in 27 minutes during Thursday's 141-125 win over Memphis.
ANALYSIS
Conley finished just two points and one assist away from recording a double-double, and he finished just two dimes away from tying his season-high mark in that category. The veteran floor general has some value as a streaming option due to his ability as a passer and three-point shooter, but his upside in most formats remains relatively low, especially considering the high usage rate of players such as Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle.
Apr 4, 2025
Muted performance in win
Conley supplied six points (2-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt), one rebound and six assists in 24 minutes during Thursday's 105-90 win over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Conley's fantasy output has been quite limited recently. Over his last six games, he's averaging 25.4 minutes per night and is sitting outside the top-150 in nine-category formats with 8.7 points, 5.2 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.8 three-pointers in 25.4 minutes.
Mar 24, 2025
Back in starting lineup Monday
Conley will start in Monday's game against the Pacers, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Joe Ingles got the spot start during Friday's win over the Pelicans, so that his family, who was visiting Minnesota at the time, could watch him play. However, Conley will return to the starting five after playing only 10 minutes Friday. Over his last 10 outings (nine starts), the veteran point guard has averaged 8.8 points, 4.1 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.1 steals across 23.1 minutes per contest.
Mar 21, 2025
Coming off bench Friday
Conley won't start in Friday's game against New Orleans.
ANALYSIS
Joe Ingles will supplant Conley in the starting five on Friday. Over his last five outings, the veteran point guard has averaged 11.0 points, 4.0 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.0 steals across 25.4 minutes per game.
Mar 17, 2025
Available to play
Conley (rest) is available for Monday's game against the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Conley sat out Sunday's game against Utah during the first half of the club's back-to-back set, but he's no longer listed on the injury report. The veteran guard is averaging 11.4 points, 4.2 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2.6 three-pointers over his last five appearances.
Mar 16, 2025
Won't play Sunday
Conley (rest) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Utah.
ANALYSIS
The veteran point guard will get the night off during the first half of the club's back-to-back set. His next chance to play will come Monday against the Pacers. Donte DiVincenzo, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Rob Dillingham are all candidates for an uptick in playing time due to Conley being sidelined.
Mar 15, 2025
Modest production Friday
Conley chipped in nine points (3-6 FG, 3-5 3Pt), one rebound and three assists over 24 minutes during Friday's 118-111 win over Orlando.
ANALYSIS
Conley served up another lukewarm performance, scoring fewer than 15 points for the 10th time in the past 11 games. Despite continuing to start, it's fair to say both his role and production have diminished this season. Through 58 games, he is averaging a modest 8.3 points, 4.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.8 three-pointers in 24.7 minutes per contest.
Mar 6, 2025
Available against Miami
Conley has been cleared to play in Friday's game against the Heat.
ANALYSIS
After missing Wednesday's win against the Hornets, Conley is no longer on the injury report, paving the way for him to return to the floor Friday. The veteran guard is having a rough season in Minnesota, averaging a career-low 8.1 points per game in 24.9 minutes per contest, which is always a career low.
Mar 5, 2025
Will be rested Wednesday
Conley will be held out for rest Wednesday against the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Wednesday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, so the Timberwolves will give the veteran guard the night off. With Conley out, Donte DiVincenzo is likely to run a lot of the offense, and Rob Dillingham could be more involved for Minnesota.
Feb 22, 2025
Perfect showing from line in loss
Conley (finger) tallied five points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five assists, two rebounds and one steal across 24 minutes in Friday's 121-115 loss to the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Conley was cleared to play in Minnesota's first game coming out of the All-Star break after he had missed the previous four contests due to a right index finger sprain. The veteran point guard came through with a perfect showing from the free-throw line and committed just one turnover against five assists, but his stat line was otherwise underwhelming. Conley remains secure in a starting role, but he frequently plays under 30 minutes and is maintaining a 14.9 percent usage rate on the season, rendering him little more than a low-end option in 12-team leagues.
Feb 21, 2025
Cleared to play Friday
Conley (finger) has been cleared to play in Friday's game against the Rockets, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
After missing the last four games for the Timberwolves with a finger injury, Conley will get back on the floor Friday in Houston. The veteran guard is having a bit of a down season in Minnesota, averaging a career-low 8.2 points per game while playing a career-low 25.1 minutes per contest.
Feb 20, 2025
Questionable against Rockets
Conley (finger) is questionable for Friday's game against the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
A right index finger sprain has cost Conley four consecutive games, and the veteran guard continues to nurse the injury. If Conley remains sidelined against Houston, Nickeil Alexander-Walker should continue to function as Minnesota's starting point guard while Rob Dillingham takes on more playing time from the bench.
Feb 13, 2025
Remains out Thursday
Conley (finger) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Thunder, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The veteran point guard will miss his fourth consecutive contest due to a right index finger sprain. His next chance to play will come Feb. 21 against the Rockets. Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Rob Dillingham are candidates for an uptick in playing time with Conley sidelined.
Feb 13, 2025
Iffy against Thunder
Conley (finger) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game versus the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Conley is in danger of missing his fourth straight contest due to a sprained right index finger. Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Rob Dillingham should continue to receive increased playing time if Conley is ruled out yet again.
Feb 12, 2025
Downgraded to out
Conley (finger) is out for Wednesday's game against the Bucks, Dane Moore of 'The Dane Moore NBA Podcast' reports.
ANALYSIS
A right finger sprain will keep Conley from playing in a third consecutive game Wednesday, with the veteran guard's next chance to suit up for the Timberwolves arriving Thursday against the Thunder. Nickeil Alexander-Walker should continue starting at point guard against Milwaukee, and he's averaging 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.3 steals in 32.5 minutes across six outings in Minnesota's first unit in 2024-25.
Feb 11, 2025
Iffy to face Milwaukee on Wednesday
Conley (finger) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Conley is in jeopardy of missing his third consecutive contest due to a right index finger sprain. If the veteran point guard remains on the shelf, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Rob Dillingham are candidates for an uptick in playing time. Over his last five appearances, Conley has averaged 10.2 points, 6.8 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 2.2 three-pointers across 29.2 minutes per game.
Feb 10, 2025
Won't play Monday
Conley (finger) is out for Monday's game against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
A right finger sprain will cost Conley a second straight game Monday. The veteran guard's next chance to play arrives Wednesday against the Bucks. In Conley's absence, Nickeil Alexander-Walker will remain in Minnesota's starting lineup against Cleveland and have a chance to return enhanced fantasy value.
Feb 9, 2025
Questionable for Monday
Conley (finger) is questionable for Monday's game against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Conley was sidelined for Saturday's win over Portland due to a right finger sprain, marking his second absence over Minnesota's last six games. Since moving back into the starting lineup (11 appearances), Conley has averaged 9.9 points, 5.8 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 27.7 minutes per game.
Feb 8, 2025
Ruled out Saturday
Conley (finger) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Trail Blazers, Sean Highkin of Rip City Radio 620 Portland reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley is coming off a 16-point performance in Thursday's win against the Rockets but will miss Saturday's contest against the Trail Blazers while nursing a sprained finger on his right hand. In the veteran guard's absence, Minnesota will likely turn to Dob Dillingham and Nickeil Alexander-Walker to help pick up the slack in the backcourt against Portland.
Feb 7, 2025
Questionable to face Portland
Conley (finger) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Conley is in jeopardy of missing his second contest since Jan. 30 due to a right index finger sprain. If the veteran point guard is sidelined, Rob Dillingham and Nickeil Alexander-Walker will likely see an uptick in playing time, especially if Anthony Edwards (hip) is also ruled out.
Feb 6, 2025
Has nine assists in win
Conley racked up eight points (2-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and nine assists across 26 minutes during Wednesday's 127-108 win over the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Conley dished out another nine assists, salvaging what was otherwise an underwhelming performance. Although he appears firmly entrenched in the starting lineup, it's fair to say that Conley has found the going a little tougher this season. Now aged 37, his best basketball is behind him, making him more of a role player than a vital piece of the puzzle.
Feb 2, 2025
Hit for 16 in return
Conley supplied 16 points (5-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and five assists across 34 minutes during Saturday's 105-103 loss to Washington.
ANALYSIS
After missing Minnesota's prior game with a minor thumb issue, Conley looked nine the worse for wear in his return. The 37-year-old point guard is an inconsistent scoring option at this stage of his career, producing double-digit points in only three of eight appearances since moving back into the starting five in mid-January, but he can still be an effective distributor. Over those eight contests, Conley is averaging 10.0 points, 5.1 assists, 2.5 boards, 2.3 threes and 1.4 steals in 27.9 minutes a game.
Feb 1, 2025
Available against Washington
Conley (thumb) has been cleared to play in Saturday's game against the Wizards, Dane Moore of 'The Dane Moore NBA Podcast' reports.
ANALYSIS
After missing Thursday's blowout win against the Jazz, Conley will get back on the floor for the Timberwolves for Saturday's game against the Wizards. The veteran guard is averaging a career-low 8.0 points per game to go along with 2.6 rebounds and 4.4 assists per contest this season for Minnesota.
Jan 31, 2025
Questionable to play Saturday
Conley (thumb) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Conley is in jeopardy of missing a second consecutive game due to a right thumb sprain. Nickeil Alexander-Walker would likely remain in the Timberwolves' starting lineup Saturday if Conley is not cleared to play.
Jan 30, 2025
Won't go Thursday
Conley (thumb) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Conley will miss his first outing since Nov. 26 due to the right thumb sprain, and his next opportunity to feature will come Saturday against Washington. With the veteran point guard sidelined, Rob Dillingham and Nickeil Alexander-Walker will likely see an uptick in playing time.
Jan 30, 2025
Iffy against Utah
Conley is listed as questionable for Thursday's game versus the Jazz due to a sprained right thumb.
ANALYSIS
Conley is in jeopardy of missing his first outing since Nov. 26 due to a right thumb sprain. If the veteran point guard is forced to sit out, Rob Dillingham and Nickeil Alexander-Walker are candidates to receive increased playing time.
Jan 28, 2025
Offensive struggles continue
Conley ended Monday's 100-92 win over the Hawks with four points (1-9 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists and four steals across 31 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Conley continues to struggle offensively, scoring single digits for the ninth time in the past 11 games. Despite moving back into the starting lineup following a toe injury to Donte DiVincenzo, Conley has been but a shell of himself when it comes to scoring the basketball. To this point, he is averaging just 8.0 points per game, adding 4.3 assists and 1.4 steals.
Jan 23, 2025
Near double-double in win
Conley put up 18 points (6-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight assists, five rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes of action during Wednesday's 115-114 win over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
The veteran guard recorded a season high in points, tied his season-high rebound mark and matched his second-highest assist total of the year in the narrow win. His efficiency from the field and behind the arc along with his pair of steals made Wednesday's performance a really well-rounded fantasy outing, one of his best this year. After coming off the bench for six straight games at the beginning of the month, Conley has played his way back into the starting lineup, and his fantasy value is reaping the benefits.
Jan 18, 2025
Drains trio of treys in start
Conley ended Friday's 116-99 win over New York with 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt), two assists and one steal in 25 minutes.
ANALYSIS
With Donte DiVincenzo (toe) sidelined Friday, Conley shifted back into the starting five and scored in double digits for only the second time in the last nine games. The 37-year-old point guard doesn't look like he has a lot left in the tank, averaging 6.3 points, 3.3 assists, 2.1 boards and 1.1 threes in 21.4 minutes during that span, and once DiVincenzo is ready to return, Conley will likely move back into a bench role.
Jan 17, 2025
Rejoining starting lineup Friday
Conley will start in Friday's game against the Knicks, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will rejoin Minnesota's starting lineup in the absence of Donte DiVincenzo (toe) on Friday, giving the former a chance to provide enhanced fantasy value. It'll be Conley's first start since a Jan. 4 loss to Detroit, and the veteran floor general is averaging 7.1 points, 3.7 assists, 1.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.6 threes in 23.2 minutes across his last seven appearances as a starter for the Wolves.
Jan 14, 2025
Continues to trend down Monday
Conley totaled seven points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one block over 20 minutes during Monday's 120-106 victory over the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Conley continues to trend down from a fantasy perspective, failing to reach double figures in scoring in his fourth straight contest. The veteran floor general is averaging 7.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.2 threes in 22.0 minutes across his past five outings since being moved to Minnesota's bench. With Donte DiVincenzo playing well since heading to the first unit, Conley is starting to become a fringe hold in shallow fantasy leagues with diminished upside while with the second unit.
Jan 6, 2025
Coming off bench Monday
Conley is not in the Timberwolves' starting lineup against the Clippers on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Conley is averaging a career-low 8.0 points per game this season and is coming off a zero-point outing in a 119-105 loss to the Pistons on Saturday. Minnesota will shake things up Monday by having Donte DiVincenzo enter the starting lineup, and it's not clear if Conley's move to the bench is long term.
Jan 1, 2025
Ties season-high scoring mark
Conley amassed 16 points (5-10 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, four assists and two steals across 23 minutes during Tuesday's 113-105 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Conley bounced back from a couple of subpar showings, as he had scored three points and five points, respectively, in tight wins over the Rockets and Spurs. This 16-point outing matched his best scoring mark of the campaign. However, he's scored in double digits just three times over his last nine outings, so his fantasy upside remains extremely low across all formats.
Dec 30, 2024
Continues trending down
Conley had another rough outing in win over Spurs, finishing with five points while shooting 1-for-5 from the floor in 23 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Father Time might be creeping up on the veteran point guard, as Conley hasn't made much of an offensive impact for the Timberwolves. He has scored in double figures only 11 times this season, which isn't ideal for Minnesota.
Dec 22, 2024
Another single-digit scoring effort
Conley provided three points (1-6 FG, 1-5 3Pt), two rebounds, five assists and one steal in 25 minutes during Saturday's 113-103 loss to Golden State.
ANALYSIS
Saturday marked four straight games with single-digit points for Conley, who had attained double scoring figures in five of his previous six outings before falling into this current dry spell. Overall, Conley is averaging 9.1 points, 4.4 assists, 2.6 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 2.1 three-pointers per game while shooting 38.2 percent from three-point range over his last 10 contests. There's no indication the Timberwolves are ready for any sort of shake-up at point guard in their starting lineup, despite Conley shooting a career-low 33.7 percent from the floor on the campaign as a whole, so the veteran floor general should remain a solid source of dimes, triples and swipes for fantasy purposes as long as he's riding with Minnesota's starting five.
Dec 9, 2024
Notches 12 points
Conley provided 12 points (3-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal over 25 minutes during Sunday's 114-106 loss to Golden State.
ANALYSIS
Conley is averaging only 25.5 minutes per game this season, but he's still managed to keep his value afloat in fantasy formats. Through his first 19 regular-season appearances, he's on pace to post 10th-round value in nine-category formats with 9.1 points, 4.4 assists, 2.9 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 2.0 three-pointers.
Nov 28, 2024
Season-high 16 points in return
Conley racked up 16 points (4-11 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-5 FT), one rebound, four assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 115-104 loss to the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Making his return to Minnesota's lineup after missing three games with a toe injury, Conley was able to log his usual allotment of playing time while posting a season-high 16 points. The veteran floor general has been up and down during his 18th season, but he remains a modest source of threes, steals and assists for fantasy managers who can handle the 37-year-old's sporadic absences at this stage of his career. Conley is shooting a career-low 32.4 percent from the field through 14 games this season, but he's also averaging 4.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.8 triples per game.
Nov 27, 2024
Available to play
Conley (toe) is available to play Wednesday against the Kings.
ANALYSIS
After missing the past three games for Minnesota, Conley is no longer appearing on the injury report. Donte DiVencenzo will likely head back to the second unit with this news, while Rob Dillingham could lose some steam after two solid outings in a row.
Nov 26, 2024
Out once again Tuesday
Conley (toe) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Conley will miss his third consecutive contest due to a sprained toe on his left foot. With the veteran point guard sidelined, Donte DiVincenzo will draw the start once again. Conley's next chance to suit up will come Wednesday against the Kings.
Nov 25, 2024
Iffy for Tuesday
Conley (toe) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Conley is in danger of missing his third straight game due to a sprained toe on his left foot, but coach Chris Finch said the veteran point guard remains day-to-day. If he's sidelined, Donte DiVincenzo and Nickeil Alexander-Walker would be candidates for increased roles again.
Nov 23, 2024
Won't play Sunday
Conley (toe) is out for Sunday's game against the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Conley is dealing with a sprained toe on his left foot, and while the injury shouldn't turn into a long-term absence, it'll be enough to sideline him for a second straight game. His absence will probably translate to Nickeil Alexander-Walker remaining as the starting point guard, while Donte DiVincenzo will likely see an uptick in playing time off the bench as well. Conley's next chance to play will come against the Rockets on Tuesday.
Nov 21, 2024
Won't suit up Thursday
Conley (toe) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Conley is dealing with a sprained toe on his left foot, though the injury shouldn't turn into a long-term absence. With the veteran point guard out, Nickeil Alexander-Walker will get the starting nod with Donte DiVincenzo likely seeing an uptick in playing time off the bench. Conley's next chance to play will come Sunday against Boston.
Nov 20, 2024
Dealing with toe sprain
Conley is questionable for Thursday's game against the Raptors due to a left great toe sprain.
ANALYSIS
This is a new injury for the veteran, whose only absence this season was attributed to rest purposes during the second night of a back-to-back set. Donte DiVincenzo (back) is also questionable, so if both guards are sidelined, Nickeil Alexander-Walker would likely be in store for a major workload against Toronto.
Nov 14, 2024
Not on injury report
Conley (rest) is not on the injury report for Friday's game against the Kings.
ANALYSIS
The veteran floor general was rested for Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers, but he should be ready to go Friday and is likely to recover his place in the starting lineup. Conley is averaging 7.4 points and 4.7 assists per game this season, and his expected return to the lineup will likely send Nickeil Alexander-Walker back to a bench role.
Nov 13, 2024
Resting Wednesday
Conley won't play in Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers due to rest purposes.
ANALYSIS
Conley has failed to score in double figures in three straight games, playing less than 24 minutes in each of those contests. After a disappointing loss to Portland on Tuesday, the veteran point guard will rest during Wednesday's rematch, allowing Donte DiVincenzo, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Rob Dillingham to likely see increased roles. Conley should be back in action Friday in Sacramento.
Nov 7, 2024
Posts double-double Thursday
Conley registered 14 points (5-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds and 11 assists across 26 minutes during Thursday's 135-119 win over the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Conley delivered his best game of the season Thursday after notching season-high marks in both points and assists. Even though the veteran is a capable starter and an excellent distributor, this was his first game with more than six dimes in the campaign, which might lead to believe this kind of output isn't really sustainable on a long-term basis. The numbers aren't flashy by any means, but Conley has now scored at least nine points in five of his last six games.
Oct 30, 2024
Quiet scoring night
Conley produced nine points (2-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds and six assists across 22 minutes during Tuesday's 120-114 loss to the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Conley matched Donte DiVincenzo with six assists while Julius Randle had a team-high of seven. Rookie point guard Rob Dillingham did not play in Tuesday's contest.
Oct 23, 2024
Struggles in season debut
Conley provided five points (1-7 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal across 20 minutes during Tuesday's 110-103 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Conley didn't take a shot in the first half and was generally uninvolved on both sides of the ball. He ended up taking a seat for good early in the fourth quarter and was replaced by Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who had a more productive game overall. Conley's job is safe for now, but continued struggles could send more court time Alexander-Walker's way.
Oct 21, 2024
Cleared for Opening Night
Conley (rest) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's game against the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Conley received a night off Thursday in his team's final preseason matchup, but he'll be ready to go for Tuesday's regular-season opener. The 37-year-old will begin the 2024-25 campaign as Minnesota's starting point guard after averaging 11.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.2 steals in 76 regular-season appearances a year ago.
Oct 17, 2024
Inactive Thursday
Conley won't play in Thursday's game against the Nuggets due to rest purposes.
ANALYSIS
The Timberwolves will shut down its starters in the second half of a back-to-back, ending Conley's preseason campaign. Rob Dillingham will get the start at point guard in Conley's place.
Oct 16, 2024
Starting Wednesday
Conley (rest) will play in Wednesday's preseason game against the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Conley got a scheduled rest day Sunday and, as expected, is back in the starting lineup Wednesday. The point guard is entering his 18th NBA season, and he averaged 11.4 points, 5.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game last year across 28.9 minutes per game.
Oct 13, 2024
Scheduled day off Sunday
Conley (rest) has been ruled out of Sunday's preseason matchup against the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Conley will get a scheduled day of rest as the Timberwolves still have two preseason games remaining after Sunday. The veteran's next chance to suit up during the preseason will come Wednesday against the Bulls.
Sep 30, 2024
Will have rest days in 2024-25
Coach Chris Finch told Conley this offseason that he won't play as many games as he did last year, Jace Frederick of St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
ANALYSIS
At 36 years old, Conley made 76 regular-season appearances, his most since 2012-13, and played in 15 of Minnesota's 16 playoff games. While Conley was excellent in his role last year, Finch clearly thinks that many appearances won't be sustainable for the veteran point guard. Fantasy managers should anticipate rest days when drafting Conley, who might have a similar setup as Al Horford has had in Boston over the last couple of years.
May 30, 2024
Good to go for Game 5
Conley (Achilles) will play in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals against Dallas on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
For the seventh game in a row, Conley will play through his right soleus strain. With Minnesota facing elimination with a loss, it's not a surprise to see Conley power through his injury again.
May 29, 2024
Questionable for Game 5
Conley (Achilles) is questionable for Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals against the Mavericks on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Conley continues to deal with a right soleus strain, but he's been able to continue suiting up recently. He's averaged 13.5 points, 4.8 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals in 32.3 minutes per game over the first four games of the series and is unlikely to face limitations if he's cleared to play again Thursday.
May 29, 2024
Comes close to double-double
Conley amassed 14 points (5-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and four steals in 34 minutes during Tuesday's 105-100 win over Dallas in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals.
ANALYSIS
Conley struggled a bit from three-point range, but he excelled in other areas, mainly as a playmaker and on the defensive end, as his four steals set the tone for Minnesota when it comes to disrupting the passing lanes. Conley has been hampered by an Achilles injury throughout the series, but he's still averaging 13.5 points, 4.8 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals in this Western Conference Finals.
May 28, 2024
Gets green light Tuesday
Conley (Achilles) is available and starting in Tuesday's Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals against Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Conley has been a mainstay on the injury report, but he has continued to play through his right soleus strain and put up decent numbers. Throughout the playoffs, the 36-year-old is averaging 11.8 points, 5.9 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 steals, shooting 42.0 percent from the field.
May 28, 2024
Questionable for Game 4
Conley (Achilles) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals against Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Conley continues to deal with a right soleus strain but has played in the Timberwolves' last five matchups. Throughout the series, the veteran has averaged 13.3 points, 4.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 31.7 minutes. With the Timberwolves' season on the line Tuesday, Conley will likely give it a go once again.
May 26, 2024
Available for Game 3
Conley (Achilles) is available and starting in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals against the Mavericks on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Conley was questionable once again before Sunday's matchup, but he'll be able to continue playing through his soleus strain. Over his last four appearances, he's averaged 11.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 33.3 minutes per game.
May 25, 2024
Questionable once again for Game 3
Conley (Achilles) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's Game 3 against Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Conley is dealing with a right soleus strain and has been a constant on the injury report, despite appearing in the Timberwolves' last four games. With Minnesota facing a 2-0 series deficit, the veteran will likely continue to play through the injury as the Timberwolves fight to keep their season alive on the road. If Conley is unable to go, Nickeil Alexander-Walker will likely take his place in the starting lineup.
May 24, 2024
Good to go
Conley (Achilles) is will play and start in Friday's Game 2 against Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Conley has been consistently carrying questionable tags due to a soleus strain, but he will suit up for a fourth straight game. After seeing 31 minutes in Game 1, Conley is likely to see a similar workload Friday evening.
May 23, 2024
Iffy for Game 2
Conley (Achilles) is listed as questionable for Friday's Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals against the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Conley continues to deal with a right soleus strain but has suited up in each of Minnesota's last three contests. If the veteran guard is upgraded to available yet again Friday, he will likely receive a similar workload to the 31 minutes he played in Game 1.
May 22, 2024
Active and starting
Conley (Achilles) is part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Conley will play through a strained right soleus for a third straight game and will slot into his usual starting point guard role. In four regular-season games against the Mavericks this season, Conley averaged 10.8 points, 4.8 assists and 2.3 rebounds.
May 21, 2024
Deemed questionable for Game 1
Conley (Achilles) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals versus the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Conley continues to deal with a right soleus strain but has suited up in each of Minnesota's last two contests. The veteran guard played 38 minutes in Game 7 against Denver, so he will likely be set for a full workload if he's upgraded to available.
May 19, 2024
Available, starting Game 7
Conley (Achilles) will start Sunday's Game 7 against the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Conley will shed a second consecutive questionable tag after missing Game 5 with an Achilles injury. The veteran guard put together a solid performance in Game 6 and he was able to record 31 minutes, so he likely won't face any limitations during Sunday's win-or-go-home scenario.
May 18, 2024
Questionable for Sunday
Conley (Achilles) is questionable for Sunday's Game 7 against Denver.
ANALYSIS
After missing Game 5 with this same injury, Conley played in Game 6 Thursday and finished with 13 points, five assists, four rebounds and one block in 31 minutes. With Minnesota's season on the line, Conley will likely attempt to power through the issue again.
May 16, 2024
Will play Thursday
Conley (Achilles) will play in Game 6 against the Nuggets on Thursday, head coach Chris Finch told Jack Borman of SB Nation.
ANALYSIS
Finch also said the Wolves will be "mindful" of Conley's minutes after he missed Game 5 with an Achilles injury. Still, the veteran floor general will be out there in what could be the last game of the season for a Minnesota team that has lost three in a row against the defending champions. Conley is averaging 11.3 points, 7.0 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game during the current postseason run, and even though he'll have his minutes monitored, it would be shocking if he's not part of the starting lineup.
May 16, 2024
Likely to play Thursday
Conley (Achilles) is expected to play in Thursday's Game 6 against the Nuggets, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley is expected to return to action Thursday after missing Game with right Achilles soreness. If the veteran guard is ultimately upgraded from questionable to available, he will likely reclaim his starting spot from Nickeil Alexander-Walker.
May 16, 2024
Present at shootaround
Conley (Achilles) is at Minnesota's shootaround ahead of Thursday's Game 6 against Denver, Chris Hine of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley is listed as questionable for Thursday's contest after missing Game 5 with right Achilles soreness. While Conley's presence at shootaround is a good sign of his availability, the veteran guard was also at shootaround ahead of Game 5 before being ruled out.
May 15, 2024
Iffy for Game 6
Conley (Achilles) is questionable for Thursday's Game 6 against the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Conley was a late addition to the injury report ahead of Game 5 due to right Achilles soreness and was ultimately unable to play, allowing Nickeil Alexander-Walker to get his first start of the postseason. If Conley is sidelined again, Monte Morris would be a candidate for double-digit minutes off the bench.
May 14, 2024
Ruled out for Game 5
Conley (Achilles) won't play in Tuesday's Game 5 against the Nuggets, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley has been downgraded from questionable to out Tuesday due to right Achilles soreness. In his absence, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Monte Morris will likely receive increased playing time. Conley's next chance to suit up is Game 6 on Thursday.
May 14, 2024
Late addition to injury report
Conley is questionable for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Nuggets due to right Achilles soreness.
ANALYSIS
Conley is a late addition to Minnesota's injury report but was active during the morning shootaround, per Dane Moore of 'The Dane Moore NBA Podcast'. The veteran point guard has averaged 11.9 points, 6.4 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 31.2 minutes during the postseason, so his potential absence would be a big blow in a critical road matchup. If Conley is downgraded to out, Monte Morris, Jordan McLaughlin and Nickeil Alexander-Walker would be candidates for increased playing time.
May 13, 2024
Hands out nine dimes in Game 4 loss
Conley contributed 15 points (5-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, nine assists and one steal across 34 minutes during Sunday's 115-107 loss to Denver in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
ANALYSIS
Conley didn't have his best shooting performance, but the veteran point guard keeps finding ways to contribute even when his shot isn't falling. He's now scored in double digits in three of the four games of the series so far while dishing out at least six assists each time.
May 4, 2024
Top distributor in double-double
Conley had 14 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, 10 assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Saturday's 106-99 win over the Nuggets in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
ANALYSIS
Conley led all players in Friday's Game 1 in assists while ending as one of four Timberwolves in double figures in scoring and as the lone player with a double-double in a winning effort. Conley, who connected on a team-high-tying trio of threes, reached double digits in assists for the first time this postseason, having recorded at least 10 points and seven dimes in three playoff outings.
Apr 23, 2024
Vintage performance Tuesday
Conley ended Tuesday's 105-93 win over the Suns in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals with 18 points (7-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, four assists and two steals across 32 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Conley assumed more responsibility on the offensive end of the floor, tallying 18 points in 32 minutes. Despite not always putting up noteworthy production, Conley is a vital piece for the Timberwolves. He provides them with leadership both on and off the court, as well as a cool head when the going gets tough. Minnesota will look to take a stranglehold on the series when they line up for Game 3 Friday.
Apr 13, 2024
Delivers double-double Friday
Conley contributed 13 points (5-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, 10 assists and two steals over 31 minutes during Friday's 109-106 victory over the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Conley has been doing a good job as the Timberwolves' main playmaker out of the backcourt, and while his usage rate could decrease now that Karl-Anthony Towns is back in the mix, he remains a solid contributor, particularly in the assists category. Conley has scored in double digits in seven of his last 1o games, averaging 13.8 points and 5.9 assists per game in that span.
Apr 11, 2024
Drills five threes in loss
Conley finished Wednesday's 116-107 loss to Denver with 19 points (7-12 FG, 5-9 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and one steal over 30 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Despite the loss, the Timberwolves have to be encouraged by Conley's recent stat lines. The veteran has also enjoyed a great attendance record during his first full season in Minneapolis, missing only six games during the 2023-24 campaign. Conley has 10 three-pointers over his last two games, and converted 55.6 percent of his long-range shots in the process.
Apr 6, 2024
Scores five points in return
Conley ended Friday's 97-87 loss to Phoenix with five points (1-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and three assists over 25 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Although Conley returned tiothe starting lineup, he was ineffective in the low-scoring loss, joining three other starters who failed to break the double-digit scoring barrier. Although Conley's not at risk of losing his starting role, Nickeil Alexander-Walker had a solid result during his absence and scored 13 points off the bench during Friday's loss. At the very least, Alexander-Walker's usage is likely to increase, which could cut into Conley's usual load.
Apr 4, 2024
Cleared for Friday
Conley (rest) will be available for Friday's game against the Suns.
ANALYSIS
The veteran had his 28-game active streak snapped Wednesday against Toronto as he was given a maintenance day. He'll likely reprise his usual role against the Suns, which means Nickeil Alexander-Walker is expected to return to the second unit.
Apr 3, 2024
Resting Wednesday
Conley has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Raptors due to rest purposes.
ANALYSIS
Conley's absence will snap a 28-game streak of appearances. The last time the veteran was sidelined, Nickeil Alexander-Walker drew a start. Monte Morris and Jordan McLaughlin are also candidates for increased playing time in Conley's stead.
Apr 1, 2024
Scores 19, hands out seven dimes
Conley posted 19 points (7-11 FG, 5-9 3Pt), one rebound, seven assists and four steals in 29 minutes during Sunday's 109-101 loss to the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Conley had a solid outing both as a scorer and playmaker, but the rest of the offense just wasn't sharp, as the Timberwolves barely reached the 100-point mark in this loss. The veteran floor general has been playing well lately, scoring in double digits in five of his last six games while dishing out five or more assists in each of those contests. Conley will aim to keep this run alive in a tough matchup against Fred VanVleet and the Rockets on Tuesday.
Mar 23, 2024
Shines in win over Cleveland
Conley finished with 21 points (8-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, six assists and one block over 32 minutes during Friday's 104-91 victory over the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Conley has been playing well of late, and the veteran floor general is doing a great job of putting up solid numbers on offense, taking advantage of the fact that guys such as Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) and Rudy Gobert (ribs) have been forced to miss time in recent weeks. Conley's offensive surge is not going to be sustainable in the long term, but fantasy managers who have him rostered are certainly reaping the benefits, as he's scored 20 or more points in three of his last five games.
Mar 17, 2024
Strong from deep in season high
Conley posted 25 points (8-12 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), two rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes during Saturday's 119-100 victory over the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Conley connected on a team-high-tying handful of threes while ending as one of two Timberwolves players with 25 or more points to boost the team offensively in a winning effort. Conley set a new season high in scoring, posting his second straight 20-point game of the year. He has now made five or more threes in five games this season, including in two straight outings.
Mar 13, 2024
Drops 23 points in win
Conley produced 23 points (9-15 FG, 5-8 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists and one steal over 27 minutes during Tuesday's 118-100 win over the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
This was arguably Conley's best game of the season from an offensive perspective as he eclipsed 20 points for the first time. This performance could boost his confidence, as he's had a tough time in March. In those seven games, Conley has hit just 42.4 percent from the field and 29.4 percent from beyond the arc.
Mar 5, 2024
Strong effort in win Monday
Conley contributed 19 points (6-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), two rebounds, seven assists and three steals in 29 minutes during Monday's 119-114 victory over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Conley delivered a strong performance Monday, tying his best scoring mark of the season and chipping in with at least seven dimes for the third time across his last four appearances. Conley is averaging 10.9 points, 4.7 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game since the league resumed following the All-Star break.
Mar 2, 2024
Plays 36 minutes after injury scare
Conley (ankle) closed with 14 points (4-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 36 minutes during Friday's 124-120 overtime loss to the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Conley had to go to the locker room after suffering an ankle injury, but it appears the issue was minor. The veteran point guard finished with 36 minutes and played all five minutes of the overtime period. Conley's eight assists were his most since Feb. 8, and he's reached that mark 19 times this season. If Anthony Edwards (personal) is unavailable for Sunday's matchup against the Clippers, Conley may be asked to handle more offensive usage than usual.
Feb 19, 2024
Inks two-year extension
Conley and the Timberwolves agreed to a two-year, $21 million contract extension Monday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley has looked sharp for Minnesota in his age-36 season. Through 50 games, he's averaged 10.6 points, 6.4 assists, 2.9 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 2.3 three-pointers. Conley would've hit the open market during the offseason if not for this transaction, but now the veteran will be locked in through the 2025-26 season.
Feb 9, 2024
Boosts offense in season high game
Conley closed Thursday's 129-105 victory over Milwaukee with 18 points (6-8 FG, 6-7 3Pt), five rebounds and nine assists over 31 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Conley led all Timberwolves players in Thursday's contest in threes made while handing out a team-high-tying assist total to go along with a handful of assists and a season-high scoring mark in a winning effort. Conley has scored 18 or more points in four games this season, connecting at least four threes in three of those outings. The point guard has notched at least 15 points, eight assists and five rebounds in three appearances.
Feb 3, 2024
Top distributor in defeat
Conley had four points (1-9 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, nine assists and three steals over 28 minutes during Friday's 108-106 loss to the Magic.
ANALYSIS
Conley struggled shooting the ball from the field, connecting on just one shot in Friday's defeat, but still impacted the game by handing out a team-high assist total along with a handful of rebounds and a team-high trio of steals. Conley has distributed nine or more rebounds in 11 games this season while recording at least five boards for the fifth time. Conley has failed to tally at least five points in just two games this year, the other of which occurred Jan. 20 with a season-low three points.
Feb 1, 2024
Reaches double figures in return
Conley ended Wednesday's 121-87 victory over the Mavericks with 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 25 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Conley returned to action after missing back-to-back games with a hamstring injury by providing a spark offensively while ending as one of five Timberwolves in double figures in scoring along with a trio of assists in a winning effort. Conley has posted a double-digit point total in three of his last four games while handing out at least three assists in all of those outings.
Jan 31, 2024
Cleared to play
Conley (hamstring) is available for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will return to action after missing back-to-back games due to left hamstring tightness and presumably reclaim his starting spot from Nickeil Alexander-Walker. Conley's missed four out of the last five games and five total contests in January, so it'd be surprising to see the veteran clear 30 minutes versus Dallas.
Jan 31, 2024
Goes through shootaround
Conley (hamstring) was able to participate in Wednesday's shootaround, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley is still listed as questionable ahead of Wednesday's game versus Dallas, but he appears to be trending in the right direction after missing the past two games for Minnesota. If he's unable to suit up Wednesday, The Timberwolves will likely continue to rely on Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Jordan McLaughlin.
Jan 30, 2024
Officially questionable Wednesday
Conley (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Conley is at risk of missing his third consecutive game due to left hamstring soreness. Nickeil Alexander-Walker has started in his stead, while Jordan McLaughlin delivered 10 points off the bench in Monday's victory over Oklahoma City.
Jan 29, 2024
Officially out Monday
Conley (hamstring) will not play Monday versus Oklahoma City, Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley continues to deal with hamstring soreness, and MacMahon notes that Minnesota will continue exercising an abundance of caution with the 36-year-old. Nickeil Alexander-Walker started Saturday's contest in Conley's stead, so he is a candidate to remain with the first unit. The Timberwolves are 1-3 without Conley this season.
Jan 28, 2024
Iffy Monday
Conley (hamstring) is questionable for Monday's game against the Thunder, Dane Moore of 'The Dane Moore NBA Podcast' reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley is in jeopardy of missing a second consecutive game due to lingering left hamstring soreness. If he is unable to go, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Jordan McLaughlin and Shake Milton are likely candidates to receive increased playing time.
Jan 27, 2024
Downgraded to out
Conley (hamstring) is out for Saturday's game against the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Conley missed the two games before Thursday's matchup with the Nets due to an illness, and he now finds himself sidelined with a hamstring issue. Jordan McLaughlin and Shake Milton could be in line for extended minutes sans Conley.
Jan 27, 2024
Considered questionable
Conley is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Spurs due to left hamstring tightness.
ANALYSIS
Conley's status will depend on how his hamstring is feeling closer to game time. If he is ultimately unable to play, Jordan McLaughlin and Shake Milton would be candidates to see increased run at point guard.
Jan 26, 2024
Reaches double figures in return
Conley closed with 10 points (3-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals in 33 minutes during Thursday's 96-94 victory over Brooklyn.
ANALYSIS
Conley returned after missing the past two games due to illness by leading all Timberwolves starters in assists to go along with a team-high-tying steals mark and finishing as one of four Timberwolves with in double figures in scoring. Conley has finished with 10 or more points in two of his last three contests while handing out four or more assists in 19 straight outings.
Jan 25, 2024
Good to go Thursday
Conley (illness) is good to go for Thursday's game versus the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Conley will be back in the starting lineup after missing the past two games for Minnesota, so Nickeil Alexander-Walker will head back to the bench. There's no word of any restrictions for Conley prior to tipoff.
Jan 25, 2024
Iffy against Brooklyn
Conley (illness) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game versus the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Conley is in danger of missing his third straight contest Thursday due to a non-COVID illness. If the veteran point guard is unable to suit, Nickeil Alexander-Walker will likely remain in the starting lineup.
Jan 24, 2024
Ruled out for Wednesday's game
Conley (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Washington, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley was a late addition to Wednesday's injury report and will be forced to miss a second consecutive game, as he was unavailable Monday against Charlotte due to rest purposes. Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Shake Milton will likely have increased opportunities Wednesday.
Jan 24, 2024
Added to injury report
Conley is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Wizards due to an illness.
ANALYSIS
Conley wasn't on the Timberwolves' initial injury report for Wednesday's matchup, but he's dealing with an illness the morning of the game. He was unavailable for Monday's game against the Hornets, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Shake Milton saw increased playing time in his absence.
Jan 23, 2024
Good to go against Washington
Conley (hamstring) isn't on the injury report for Wednesday's game versus the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
Conley is set to play Wednesday after missing Monday's contest for rest purposes due to hamstring tightness, as expected. The veteran point guard should reclaim his starting spot from Nickeil Alexander-Walker.
Jan 22, 2024
Will rest Monday
Conley won't play in Monday's game against the Hornets due to rest.
ANALYSIS
Conley will miss just his second game of the season, but he'll likely return to action Wednesday in Washington, which is the first half of a back-to-back set. The last time Conley was sidelined, Nickeil Alexander-Walker started at point guard.
Jan 19, 2024
Top distributor in double-double
Conley racked up 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt), four rebounds, 10 assists and two steals over 30 minutes during Thursday's 118-103 victory over Memphis.
ANALYSIS
Conley led all players in Thursday's contest in assists while adding a team-high-tying steals mark and ending as one of six Timberwolves with a double-digit point total in a double-double showcase. Conley has dished out 10 or more assists in five games this year, finishing with a double-double in four of those five outings. Three of those five double-digit assist games have occurred over his last five games.
Jan 12, 2024
Distributes in near double-double
Conley tallied nine points (3-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt), 10 assists and four rebounds over 20 minutes in Friday's 116-93 win over Portland.
ANALYSIS
Conley led all players in Friday's contest in assists while ending one point short of a double-double while returning after missing the previous game due to rest. Conley, who connected on a team-high-tying mark from three, has recorded 10 or more assists in four games this season, including in two straight contests.
Jan 11, 2024
Good to go Friday
Conley (rest) isn't on the injury report for Friday's game versus the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Conley will return to action Friday after sitting out Wednesday's contest for rest purposes. The veteran point guard will likely reclaim his starting role from Nickeil Alexander-Walker.
Jan 10, 2024
Will be rested Wednesday
Conley will be rested for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Wednesday's game is the second leg of a back-to-back set, and Conley played 31 minutes Tuesday night against the Magic. The veteran has been in a slump and was probably in need of a maintenance day, as he's averaging 8.0 points on 41.2 percent shooting in five January appearances. With Conley out, there could be more opportunities for guys like Jordan McLaughlin and Nickeil Alexander-Walker.
Jan 5, 2024
Slump continues Friday
Conley totaled eight points (3-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt), two rebounds and five assists over 25 minutes during Friday's 122-95 win over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Conley continued to struggle Friday, scoring fewer than 10 points for the third straight game. He has been outside the top 100 over the past week, buoyed primarily by his 6.5 assists per game. Although his upside is basically non-existent at this point in his career, Conley has quietly been a must-roster player all season. As long as scoring is not high on your list of priorities, Conley should remain a viable asset moving forward.
Dec 31, 2023
Reliability continues
Conley closed with 15 points (4-11 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Saturday's 108-106 victory over the Lakers. He had one turnover.
ANALYSIS
Conley has racked up a stout 34:5 AST:TO ratio over his last five games. Offensively, he did all of his damage from beyond the arc, extending a league-leading streak of 41 consecutive games with at least one made three. The 17-year veteran is amid a renaissance season, shooting a career-high 46.4 percent from the field.
Dec 27, 2023
Leads from deep to boost offense
Conley recorded 17 points (6-10 FG, 5-7 3Pt), two rebounds, four assists and two steals across 25 minutes during Tuesday's 129-106 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Conley led all Timberwolves in threes made while finishing second on the team and as one of four players with a double-digit point total to go along with four assists. Conley has connected on five or more threes in two games this season and has posted 15 or more points on six occasions, including in two of his last three outings.
Dec 22, 2023
Pops for 16 against Lakers
Conley chipped in 16 points (6-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt), one rebound, eight assists, one block and two steals across 30 minutes during Thursday's 118-111 win over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
The 36-year-old point guard had a bit of a bumpy start to his first full season with Minnesota, but Conley appears to have found a groove in December, scoring in double digits in seven of the last nine games and averaging 14.0 points, 6.4 assists, 2.7 boards, 2.6 threes and 0.9 steals on the month while shooting 50.6 percent from the floor, 46.9 percent from beyond the arc and 92.0 percent from the free-throw line. Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) left Thursday's game early, and if his injury proves to be serious, Conley could be needed to help fill the hole on offense left by the big man's absence.
Dec 12, 2023
Leads offense as top distributor
Conley chipped in 17 points (6-11 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds and seven assists over 27 minutes during Monday's 121-107 loss to the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Conley led all players in Monday's game in assists while posting a team-high-tying point total along with a handful of rebounds in a balanced performance. Conley, who also connecting on a team-best mark from three, has tallied at least 15 points, five rebounds and five assists in two games this year, both of which have occurred over his last four outings.
Dec 7, 2023
Strong from deep as top scorer
Conley logged 18 points (5-13 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, four assists and three steals across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 102-94 win over San Antonio.
ANALYSIS
Conley led all Wolves in scoring while connecting on a team-leading mark from three and tallying a team-best steals total in a winning effort. Conley posted a season-high-tying mark in scoring while surpassing the double-digit point total in three of his last five outings. Conley has connected on three or more threes in seven contests this year.
Nov 27, 2023
Hands out 10 dimes in win
Conley registered 18 points (6-11 FG, 6-9 3Pt), four rebounds, 10 assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Sunday's 119-97 win over Memphis.
ANALYSIS
Conley has excelled in a playmaking role and has played a massive role in an offense led by two established superstars such as Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns. Conley has dished out at least eight dimes in three straight contests and is trending in the right direction even if his scoring numbers are pedestrian at best. He's averaging 10.4 points, 6.3 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game in November.
Nov 16, 2023
Solid output in 22 minutes
Conley notched 14 points (5-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds and three assists in 22 minutes during Wednesday's 133-115 loss to Phoenix.
ANALYSIS
Conley had a solid performance across the board, racking up double-digit points for the fourth time across his last five games. His assist totals were relatively low compared to recent games, but the veteran floor general remains a solid contributor across the three major categories.
Nov 11, 2023
Hands out six dimes Friday
Conley had 11 points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and six assists over 31 minutes during Friday's 117-110 victory over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Conley went six straight games without a turnover, and while he committed four here, he still did a good job as the Timberwolves' main distributor. This was the third time he dished out a season-high six dimes across his last five contests.
Nov 2, 2023
Efficient against NBA champions
Conley amassed 17 points (7-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt), three rebounds, six assists and one steal over 27 minutes during Wednesday's 110-89 victory over the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Conley wasn't as dominant offensively as Karl-Anthony Towns or Anthony Edwards, but he missed just two shots from the floor and delivered an excellent outing on both ends of the court. Conley is expected to hold a secondary role on offense this season while sharing the court with Edwards, Towns and Rudy Gobert, but he's more than capable of putting up solid numbers every night. To note, Conley has scored in double digits in three of his first four outings.
Oct 24, 2023
Good to go Wednesday
Conley (illness) isn't on the injury report for Wednesday's season opener against the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Conley is good to go Wednesday after missing Minnesota's preseason finale with an illness. The veteran Conley is expected to start at point guard for the Timberwolves.
Oct 19, 2023
Unavailable Thursday
Conley has been ruled out for Thursday's preseason game against Chicago due to an illness, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will sit out the Timberwolves' preseason finale, but it's not yet clear whether his illness will impact his availability for Wednesday's regular-season opener against Toronto. Jordan McLaughlin and Shake Milton could see additional work Thursday.
Oct 6, 2023
Racks up three steals
Conley posted five points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt), four assists, three steals and two rebounds in 17 minutes during Thursday's 111-99 preseason win over Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Conley's scoring was limited by a low shot volume Thursday, and he saw the lowest point total of any starter during the preseason opener. However, he managed to make an impact on the defensive end with a team-high three steals. The 35-year-old saw a slight increase in production after being traded from the Jazz to the Timberwolves last year, as he averaged 14.0 points, 5.0 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 31.4 minutes per game over 24 appearances with Minnesota.
Apr 17, 2023
Invisible in loss
Conley contributed eight points (3-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt), four rebounds and three assists over 25 minutes during Sunday's 109-80 loss to the Nuggets in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.
ANALYSIS
Conley struggled to get anything going in the loss but was certainly not alone in that discussion. The Timberwolves were soundly beaten and will need to be much better should they hope to make this an interesting series. A proven veteran, Conley will look to bounce back in Game 2 Wednesday.
Apr 9, 2023
Leading distributor in victory
Conley posted 17 points (5-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 6-7 FT), two rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 34 minutes during Sunday's 113-108 win over New Orleans.
ANALYSIS
Conley led all players in Sunday's game in assists while finishing as one of four Wolves in double figures in scoring en route to coming three dimes short of a double-double performance. Conley has posted at least 15 points and five assists in three of his last five games.
Apr 1, 2023
Posts 25 points before fouling out
Conley fouled out of Friday's 123-111 loss to the Lakers after recording 25 points (7-11 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 7-8 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and three steals over 32 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Conley didn't finish the game due to fouling out late in the fourth quarter, but the veteran point guard still led Minnesota in scoring, assists and steals in the tough loss. He shot an efficient 7-for-11 from the field, including 4-of-6 from three-point range, showing great improvement over the 3-for-13 line he posted against Phoenix two days prior. Conley's scoring output Friday was his highest since he registered 28 points in Chicago on March 17.
Mar 28, 2023
Efficient outing in win
Conley chipped in 16 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal across 27 minutes during Monday's 119-115 win over Sacramento.
ANALYSIS
Conley missed just two shots from the field en route to his sixth straight game in double figures. During that stretch, the veteran point guard has averaged 17.5 points, 5.2 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 32.0 minutes per game.
Mar 20, 2023
Delivers double-double
Conley racked up 24 points (6-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 9-9 FT), four rebounds, 11 assists, one block and two steals over 32 minutes during Monday's 140-134 win over New York.
ANALYSIS
Conley stepped up for the short-handed Timberwolves, delivering his first double-double since arriving in Minnesota. With Anthony Edwards (ankle) on the sideline, Conley shouldered more of the offensive load, both in terms of scoring and facilitating. He has been a top 40 player over the past two weeks and with the team pushing hard for the playoffs, Conley should be able to maintain comfortable 12-team value ROS.
Mar 18, 2023
Racks up 28 points in loss
Conley racked up 28 points (9-14 FG, 8-12 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, six assists and three steals over 46 minutes during Friday's 139-131 double-overtime loss to Chicago.
ANALYSIS
With 46 minutes in the double overtime loss, Conley saw the sixth largest workload of his entire career. Minnesota hasn't been too careful with his minutes unlike his Utah days, but it's worth mentioning that the Wolves play again Saturday versus the Raptors for the second leg of a back-to-back.
Mar 13, 2023
Breaks out of scoring funk
Conley contributed 21 points (9-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), one rebound, six assists and one steal in 28 minutes during Monday's 136-115 win over the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Conley had 17 total points in the previous two games. A matchup with the porous Atlanta defense provided a good remedy for the point guard. His nine made field goals were a season high. A single turnover, six assists and three made triples gave Conley a solid all-around performance in a blowout win.
Mar 7, 2023
Rough night Tuesday
Conley ended with six points (1-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three assists and two steals in 24 minutes during Tuesday's 117-94 loss to the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Conley failed to have an impact in the loss, turning in arguably his worst performance since joining the Timberwolves. Prior to this game, he had scored double digits in two straight contests. While he certainly isn't the player he once was, Conley should remain a borderline top-100 talent ROS.
Feb 11, 2023
Limited output in debut
Conley registered nine points (3-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, three assists and two steals over 26 minutes during Friday's 128-107 loss to the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Conley made his Timberwolves debut but failed to make an impact, failing to reach double-digit scoring figures and not contributing in a major way in other categories, either. His numbers should improve as the season progresses and as he gets used to his new teammates, but he's not expected to put up the same numbers D'Angelo Russell was delivering for Minnesota before the trade.
Feb 10, 2023
Starting in debut
Conley will get the start at point guard in Friday's game against the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Conley was traded to Minnesota on Thursday as part of a three-team deal and will immediately replace the departing D'Angelo Russell at point guard. While he will presumably take some time to get used to Minnesota's system, he does already have a solid pick-and-role connection with Rudy Gobert who he played with in Utah.
Feb 10, 2023
Available to make debut
Conley will be available to make his Timberwolves debut Friday against the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Conley, who was traded by the Jazz to Minnesota on Wednesday as part of a three-team deal, appears to have passed his physical and will be able to make his Timberwolves debut Friday. The veteran figures to replace D'Angelo Russell as Minnesota's starting point guard, but it remains to be seen how much usage he'll get with his new team. Anthony Edwards figures to remain the primary playmaker, but Conley's connection with Rudy Gobert (groin) could make the lefty's transition to his team team smooth.
Feb 9, 2023
Questionable to debut Friday
Conley (trade pending) is questionable to make his Timberwolves debut on Friday.
ANALYSIS
Once he passes his physical, the veteran figures to start at the vacated point guard spot left by the Wolves dealing D'Angelo Russell to the Lakers in the three-team trade that brought Conley from Utah. With Minnesota, Conley should continue focusing on distribution, as he's averaging a career-high 7.7 assists per game and is joining a team with a potent scorer in Anthony Edwards, and Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) will eventually return. Fantasy managers rostering Conley should have no concerns about his value.
Feb 8, 2023
Headed to Minnesota
Conley is being sent to Minnesota as part of a three-way deal between the Timberwolves, Jazz and Lakers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley should slot into the starting point guard role vacated by D'Angelo Russell (traded to L.A.), so he should be able to maintain his status as a late-round producer on his new team. The Jazz will not bring in another point guard in this deal, so Collin Sexton should be Utah's full-time starting point guard moving forward, making him one of the winners in this trade.
Feb 4, 2023
Dishes eight dimes in loss
Conley recorded 20 points (7-9 FG, 2-4 3PT, 4-6 FT), two rebounds, eight assists and one steal across 30 minutes in Friday's 115-108 loss to the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Conley was efficient from the floor and continued to dish out a plethora of assists. While he is averaging the second lowest point total of his career at 10.7, the 35-year-old is averaging a career-high 7.6 dimes. He is also back above 80 percent from the line (81.1) after dipping below that threshold last season.
Feb 2, 2023
Cashes in at the line
Conley posted 19 points (5-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 9-9 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and two blocks over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 131-128 win over the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Conley's perfect shooting from the free-throw line helped him score a season-high 19 points. The veteran point guard's two blocks were tied for his highest total of 2022-23. Conley also managed to dish out eight assists while turning the ball over just three times.
Jan 29, 2023
Dishes game-high 11 assists
Conley contributed four points (2-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt), five rebounds, 11 assists and four steals over 34 minutes during Saturday's 108-100 victory over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Conley attempted only two shots in the first half but still played a major role in getting Utah out to a big lead with eighth assists and three steals over that span. The veteran point guard dished out another three assists after the break to finish with a game-high 11 dimes in the contest while adding just another two points on 1-of-6 shooting. Conley has now recorded five rebounds and 10 or more assists in back-to-back games, though he's failed to score in double figures in three of his last four.
Jan 26, 2023
Double-digit dimes in loss
Conley accumulated eight points (3-6 FG, 2-5 3Pt), five rebounds, 10 assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 134-124 loss to the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Conley came into Wednesday hitting double-digit points in five of the last six games and had dished out 39 assists to just 4 turnovers during that span. He only managed eight points on the night, but the veteran ball handler dished out ten dimes against Portland, marking his first double-digit performance since January 5th. His assist-to-turnover ratio has given him some value this season in nine-category leagues.
Jan 19, 2023
Hot streak continues
Conley chipped in 17 points (6-8 FG, 5-6 3Pt), four rebounds, nine assists and one block across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 126-103 victory over the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
With Wednesday's performance, the veteran has scored double-digit points in four straight games -- just the second time all season that he's achieved the feat. Fantasy managers in nine-category leagues are also benefiting from Conley's ball control, as he has 23 assists and zero turnovers in the past three games. He should be rostered, or at least streamed, in most 12-team fantasy leagues.
Jan 14, 2023
Slated to play Saturday
Conley (rest) isn't on the injury report for Saturday's game versus the 76ers, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley predictably will make his return to the floor after getting a night off to rest in the front end of the back-to-back set Friday. He should resume his duties as the Jazz's starting point guard, sending Nickeil Alexander-Walker back to the bench.
Jan 13, 2023
Sitting out against Orlando
Conley is out for Friday's game versus the Magic due to rest, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will rest on the first night of Utah's back-to-back. Collin Sexton will likely enter the starting lineup in his absence. The veteran point guard should be good to go for Saturday's matchup with Philadelphia.
Jan 9, 2023
Quiet again in loss
Conley recorded seven points (3-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight assists and one steal over 28 minutes during Sunday's 123-118 loss to the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Conley struggled again in the loss, scoring in single digits for the fourth time in his last five games. He has been able to maintain strong assist numbers, putting up at least seven dimes in each of his past seven games, somewhat salvaging what has been a rough period. He is the 187th-ranked player over the past month, and while he is probably a must-roster player, his offensive woes do mean he isn't going to be for everyone.
Jan 4, 2023
Contributes across board in loss
Conley finished with 18 points (6-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven assists, three steals and one rebound across 33 minutes in Tuesday's 117-115 loss to the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Conley's scoring production has been all over the map of late, but he's continued to provide assists at a career-best rate (7.5 per game) while making a regular contribution in the steals column. Considering that Conley is shooting 38.7 percent from the field for the season -- well below his career 43.8 percent rate -- he should be a candidate to see his scoring increase to some degree as the season rolls along.
Dec 31, 2022
Goes for 17 points in loss
Conley racked up 17 points (4-11 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), two rebounds, eight assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Friday's 126-125 loss to the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Conley had a quiet first half with just six points on 2-of-5 shooting from the field to go along with four assists. He only knocked down two more shots in the second half on six attempts but still managed another 11 points after going 5-of-6 from the free-throw line. The Jazz point guard has reached the 17-point mark in two of his last three games while his six free-throw attempts in the contest matched a season high.
Dec 29, 2022
Dishes out 10 dimes
Conley chipped in five points (2-11 FG, 1-8 3Pt), two rebounds, 10 assists and one steal in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 112-107 loss to Golden State.
ANALYSIS
After dropping 17 points during Monday's loss to the Spurs, Conley was quite inefficient from the floor against the Warriors on Wednesday. He's started the last eight matchups but has been held to single-digit scoring totals in seven of those appearances, and he's averaged 7.4 points and 6.8 rebounds in 29.0 minutes per game over that stretch.
Dec 27, 2022
Posts well-rounded stat line Monday
Conley totaled 17 points (6-12 FG, 5-7 3Pt), five rebounds, six assists, one block and three steals across 33 minutes during Monday's 126-122 loss to the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Conley did a little bit of everything for Utah in the loss, finishing third on the team in scoring, first in assists and tied for third in rebounds. The veteran point guard also racked up three steals and even swatted a shot, recording his first block since mid-November. This was a much-needed bounce-back performance for Conley, who averaged just 6.2 points on 31.8 percent shooting from the field over his previous six contests entering Monday.
Dec 23, 2022
Struggles continue Thursday
Conley provided eight points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and six assists in 27 minutes during Thursday's 120-112 victory over Washington.
ANALYSIS
Conley fell short of the mark again Thursday, failing to score in double digits for the sixth consecutive game. While his assist numbers have been adequate, his lack of supporting stats are causing a major headache for managers. He could be viewed as a possible buy-low candidate, although whether he is able to turn things around remains a very real question. In certain situations, there is certainly a case to be made for streaming his position.
Dec 16, 2022
Can't find shot Thursday
Conley amassed four points (1-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-6 FT), two rebounds and six assists across 32 minutes during Thursday's 132-129 overtime win over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Conley didn't shoot efficiently in either of the two games versus the Raptors, finishing with a combined 11 points between the contests while converting just three of his 16 attempts. He managed to rack up six assists in each of the contests, but Conley needs to pick it up in other areas to be a worthwhile fantasy option. Conley is just a few games removed from a lengthy absence due to a leg injury, so he could still be shedding some rust.
Dec 14, 2022
Quiet in blowout win
Conley posted seven points (2-8 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six assists and one steal in 29 minutes during Tuesday's 121-100 victory over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
The Jazz handled the Pelicans with relative ease, but it was a mostly quiet night for the veteran guard, who made his return to action after sitting out Saturday's game at Denver on the second night of a back-to-back. Conley had previously missed a string of nine straight games from Nov. 21 to Dec. 7 due to a lower-leg injury.
Dec 13, 2022
Starting Wednesday
Conley is in the starting lineup Wednesday against New Orleans, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will resume his normal starting role after coming off the bench Dec. 9 against Minnesota. The veteran has averaged 10.2 points, 7.9 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 17 previous starts.
Dec 13, 2022
Without minutes restriction Tuesday
Jazz coach Will Hardy said Conley won't have a set minutes limit in Tuesday's matchup with the Pelicans, Ben Anderson of KSLsports reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley made his return last Friday from a nine-game absence due to a lower-body injury before resting in the second leg of a back-to-back Sunday. However, the veteran guard won't have any restrictions Tuesday, as he only played 25 minutes against Minnesota. Conley is averaging 29.0 minutes across 18 games this season.
Dec 10, 2022
Getting rest day Saturday
Conley will take a rest day Saturday versus the Nuggets, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley returned from a nine-game absence Friday following a lower-body injury, posting 17 points, six assists and a rebound over 25 minutes. It's not surprising the veteran point guard will get a night off in the second game of a back-to-back set, but he should be back on the floor Tuesday versus the Pelicans. Jordan Clarkson and Nickeil Alexander-Walker are the primary candidates to see time on the ball, with Collin Sexton (hamstring) sidelined as well.
Dec 9, 2022
Will come off bench Friday
Conley, who's returning to action following a nine-game absence due to lower-body injury, will come off the bench and be a on a minutes restriction during Friday's matchup against Minnesota, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley is set to make his first appearance since Nov. 19 following a prolonged absence due to a lower-body injury. The veteran isn't quite ready to handle a starting role, so with Collin Sexton (hamstring) out, Jordan Clarkson and Nickeil Alexander-Walker will start in Utah's backcourt. Before the injury, Conley posted 10.9 points, 8.2 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 30.5 minutes per game, but he may be a risky fantasy play while he works his way back to a full strength.
Dec 9, 2022
Good to go Friday
Conley (lower leg) has been cleared to take the floor Friday versus the Timberwolves, Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley is set to rejoin the action following an extended period on the sideline, last suiting up Nov. 19 against the Trail Blazers. He should be in for a healthy workload in this one with Collin Sexton (hamstring) out, though the team could opt to ease the veteran back in a bit, given his lengthy layoff. If that's the case, Jordan Clarkson and Nickeil Alexander-Walker would be candidates to see some additional run at point guard.
Dec 9, 2022
Expects to play Friday
Conley (lower leg) anticipates playing in Friday's game versus the Timberwolves Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley is officially questionable to take the floor, but the veteran indicated Friday that he intends to play, especially with Collin Sexton (hamstring) missing the contest. Conley should log a healthy amount of action at point guard, assuming his leg holds up, with Jordan Clarkson likely figuring to occasionally relieve him on the ball.
Dec 8, 2022
Questionable to return Friday
Conley (lower leg) is listed as questionable for Friday's contest against the Timberwolves, Sarah Todd of The Deseret News reports.
ANALYSIS
After missing the Jazz's last nine games with a lower leg injury, the veteran guard could make his return to the floor Friday against the Timberwolves. With Conley questionable and Collin Sexton (hamstring) ruled out, expect Jordan Clarkson and Malik Beasley to see an uptick in minutes. The 35-year-old's next chance to see the court would be Saturday against Denver if he's unable to go Friday.
Dec 8, 2022
Expected to play against Minnesota
Conley anticipates playing in Friday's game against the Timberwolves, barring a setback, Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will likely play Friday after missing the previous nine games with a left leg strain. The veteran's point guard return may move Collin Sexton back to the bench, who has been starting in his absence. Conley had started in all 17 games played before going down to injury.
Dec 7, 2022
Out again Wednesday
Conley (leg) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Conley will miss a ninth straight game due to a leg injury. Lauri Markkanen (illness) is also out, so Collin Sexton and Jordan Clarkson figure to handle the majority of the playmaking duties against Golden State.
Dec 6, 2022
Officially questionable
Conley (hand, leg) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Conley may be able to return following an eight-game absence. Assuming he's cleared, Conley will likely be on a minutes limit. Once eased back into his starting role, fewer minutes will be available for Jordan Clarkson and Collin Sexton.
Dec 5, 2022
Targeting Wednesday return
Conley (hand) hopes to play Wednesday against the Warriors, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley had been dealing with a lower-leg injury but is dealing with a sprained hand ahead of Wednesday's matchup. While the 35-year-old will be monitored in the coming days after fully participating in Monday's practice session, he'll have a chance to put an end to his eight-game absence Wednesday. Even if he's cleared to play against Golden State, it's possible he faces a minutes restriction.
Dec 5, 2022
Logs full practice
Conley (lower leg) was a full participant in Monday's practice, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley has been out since Nov. 21 due to a lower leg strain but looks to be approaching a return to the hardwood after logging a full practice Monday. When he does make his return, Collin Sexton will likely move back to the bench. His next chance to take the floor will come Wednesday against Golden State.
Dec 3, 2022
Out again
Conley (leg) will remain sidelined for Saturday's tilt against the Trail Blazers, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley's absence will mark his eighth straight game missed due to a strained leg. Collin Sexton has seen an extended stint in the starting lineup as a result. Utah will not play again until Wednesday against the Warriors, so the veteran point guard will have some more time to heal before another potential return.
Dec 1, 2022
Remains out
Conley (leg) will not play in Friday's game against the Pacers, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will have now missed seven consecutive games due to a lower leg strain, which has allowed for an extended stint in the starting lineup for Collin Sexton. Considering Friday's matchup is the first leg of a back-to-back for Utah, Conley may be targeting a return for Saturday's game against the Trail Blazers.
Nov 29, 2022
Remains sidelined Wednesday
Conley (lower leg) is out for Wednesday's game against the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Conley will miss his sixth straight game with a lower leg strain. Colin Sexton should continue to start in the veteran point guard's absence. Conley's next opportunity to play is Friday's game against the Pacers, although there is no definitive timetable for his return.
Nov 28, 2022
Still out Monday
Conley (lower leg) will not suit up Monday against the Bulls, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will miss a fifth straight game due to a lower leg strain and has not been given a clear timetable for a return. However, the Jazz will likely be giving a rehab update for the 35-year-old at some point Tuesday that could give fantasy managers a better idea of when Conley should be expected back.
Nov 26, 2022
Remains out Saturday
Conley (lower leg) won't play in Saturday's game against the Suns, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will miss his fourth straight game due to a lower leg injury. While it was Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune that Conley could return for the Jazz's back-to-back on Friday and Saturday, the veteran point guard will have to wait until at least Monday's game against the Bulls to retake the court.
Nov 21, 2022
Could return within two weeks
Conley is listed as out for Monday's game against the Clippers with a popliteus strain of his left leg, but the Jazz are hopeful he'll avoid an extended absence once he's re-evaluated Tuesday, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Earlier Sunday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that the non-contact left lower leg injury Conley sustained during Saturday's win over the Trail Blazers would sideline him for at least two weeks, but Walden relays that the Jazz aren't yet discounting the possibility of the veteran point guard returning before then. A formal timeline for Conley's return won't be established until he gets examined in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, but Walden suggests the Jazz could opt to update the 35-year-old's status on a game-by-game basis moving forward. Even if Conley returns within two weeks, he still is likely to miss at least the first two games of this week, and he'll almost certainly sit out at least one half of the weekend back-to-back set (Friday at Golden State, Saturday at Phoenix). Talen Horton-Tucker, Collin Sexton and Malik Beasley are likely to absorb most of Conley's minutes in the meantime.
Nov 20, 2022
Avoids major damage to knee
Conley (knee) avoided major ligament damage but will still miss at least the next two weeks due to a strained left knee, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley suffered a non-contact injury to his left knee during Saturday night's win over Portland. While he'll miss at least the rest of the month, the news that he avoided any serious damage is a major sigh of relief for both the Jazz and the veteran point guard. With Conley sidelined, expect Jordan Clarkson to take on more ball handling duties, while Collin Sexton and Talen Horton-Tucker could both see boosts in minutes. This could also be an opportunity for Nickeil Alexander-Walker to find his way into the rotation.
Nov 19, 2022
Not returning Saturday
Conley won't return to Saturday's game against the Spurs due to a left knee injury, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
This is a huge blow for the Jazz, and further tests will be needed to determine the full severity of the injury. Conley finishes the game with zero points (0-1 FG), three assists, a rebound and a steal across nine minutes. Expect Collin Sexton to experience an uptick in minutes with Conley out.
Nov 19, 2022
Heads to locker room
Conley appeared to have suffered a left knee injury and was taken to the locker room during Saturday's game against the Spurs, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley went down and was holding his left knee in what appeared to be a hyperextension, but the veteran floor general managed to walk off the court in his own power. It remains to be seen if he'll be able to return to the game, and if that's not the case, then Collin Sexton and Nickeil Alexander-Walker should be in line to see more minutes.
Nov 19, 2022
Double-double in win
Conley logged 13 points (4-9 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, 10 assists, one block and one steal across 30 minutes during Friday's 134-133 win over Phoenix.
ANALYSIS
Conley's 10 dimes marked the fifth time he's recorded double-digit assists in the month of November. While he's not scoring as much these days, the 35-year-old is averaging a career high 8.2 assists per game this season. That's good for sixth in the league, and as potent as this Utah offense has been so far, look for these assists numbers to continue.
Nov 16, 2022
Drops seven dimes in loss
Conley ended Tuesday's 118-111 loss to the Knicks with 10 points (3-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and four steals across 34 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Conley didn't have a great shooting night, but he still managed to move the ball around. Conley's assist numbers will almost always impress, but his scoring has been volatile. He recently weathered three consecutive games with single-digit scoring totals. Conley can occasionally pop on defense with some steals and rebounds, which can usually salvage his stat line.
Nov 10, 2022
Season-high 13 assists in win
Conley finished with seven points (2-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 13 assists and one rebound across 29 minutes in Utah's 125-119 win over Atlanta on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Conley was quiet for most of the night and took only six shots in the game, knocking down two of them, along with three of four free-throw attempts for seven points. He did, however, ignite the Jazz offense down the stretch with eight second-half assists, including six in the fourth quarter as Utah retook the lead. His 13 assists on the night were a season-high after recording a previous season-high (12) in Utah's last contest. It was also the first time that Conley failed to score in double figures in his last eight games.
Nov 8, 2022
Frustrates Lakers again Monday
Conley posted 14 points (5-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 assists and one rebound over 24 minutes in a 139-116 win over the Lakers on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Conley took only seven shots from the field, but he was very efficient, going 3-for-4 from beyond the arc and 2-for-3 from two-point range. The veteran point guard also led all players with 12 dimes and did not commit any turnovers. This was the third double-double of the campaign for Conley, two of which have come in his past three games -- both against the Lakers. Though he won't be able to play against the struggling Lakers defense every night, he's putting up strong enough numbers to remain a viable fantasy asset.
Nov 5, 2022
Vintage performance in win
Conley posted 15 points (6-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, 10 assists and one steal over 31 minutes during Friday's 130-116 victory over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Conley enjoyed arguably his best performance of the season Friday, tying his high mark with 15 points and finishing with his second double-double of the campaign. The veteran has scored in double digits in five straight contests and appears locked into significant minutes for a surprising Jazz squad that has started 7-3. Conley is averaging 7.4 assists through nine games, putting him on pace for the best mark of his career in that category.
Nov 3, 2022
Sniffs double-double
Conley notched 11 points (3-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound, eight assists and one steal over 33 minutes during Wednesday's 103-100 loss to Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Conley is not expected to wow anyone with his scoring figures on a nightly basis and the Jazz have other players who can pick up the slack in that category, but the veteran floor general is an excellent distributor, and the early-season numbers back that up. He's dished out at least five assists in each of his eight outings this season, and while the lack of scoring conspires against his fantasy upside, he's still serviceable in most formats. He's averaging 11.5 points and 7.1 assists per game while shooting a decent 41.3 percent from beyond the arc.
Nov 1, 2022
Scores 15 points in win
Conley closed Monday's 121-105 victory over the Grizzlies with 15 points (5-9 FG, 5-7 3Pt), two rebounds, five assists and one steal over 30 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Conley returned to action after resting in Utah's previous game against the Grizzlies on Oct. 29, and he didn't miss a beat while extending his streak of games with double-digit scoring figures to three contests. That said, the veteran point guard has yet to surpass the 15-point mark in a single game, and even if he puts up decent numbers across the board, it's clear he holds a secondary role in Utah's offensive scheme, limiting his fantasy upside as a result.
Oct 29, 2022
Resting Saturday
Conley will not play Saturday against the Grizzlies for rest purposes, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley tallied a season-high 14 points in Friday's game against the Nuggets while logging a season-low 23 minutes in the contest. With Conley set to sit in the second game of a back-to-back set, Jordan Clarkson will likely see more time on the ball, and Collin Sexton and Malik Beasley are among the candidates to play additional minutes.
Oct 22, 2022
Dishes 11 dimes in OT victory
Conley registered 12 points (4-15 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, 11 assists and two steals over 36 minutes during Friday's 132-126 overtime win over the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Conley struggled from the field but served as an effective floor general, leading all players with 11 assists. It was his most dimes in a game since he dished 11 against Atlanta on Nov. 4 of last year. Utah has started the season 2-0, and Conley has totaled 19 assists across the two wins. His fantasy value would get a boost if the Jazz prove to be better than expected and can contend for a playoff spot.
Oct 14, 2022
Will start versus the Mavericks
Conley is in the starting lineup for Friday's preseason finale versus the Mavericks, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley missed Tuesday's preseason game versus the Spurs due to rest. However, the veteran point guard is not expected to miss any more time ahead of next Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Nuggets. Conley is poised to be the Jazz's starting point guard this season.
Oct 11, 2022
Resting Tuesday
Conley will rest Tuesday and won't suit up for the preseason tilt versus the Spurs, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley is just taking a breather for this one and has one more chance to get in a tune-up contest Friday versus the Mavericks before the regular season opened Oct. 19 against the Nuggets.
Oct 5, 2022
Returns as Utah's floor general
Conley supplied 16 points (6-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two assists, a rebound and a steal across 22 minutes in Tuesday's 118-101 win over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
The departures of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert represent massive losses for the Jazz, but Conley and Jordan Clarkson are back as remnants of the old guard in Salt Lake City. There's plenty of production to absorb without Mitchell, and Conley's a sharpshooter who can get hot beyond the arc while directing the offense.
Apr 26, 2022
Struggles again in blowout loss
Conley finished with four points (1-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), one rebound and five assists over 27 minutes during Monday's 102-77 loss to Dallas.
ANALYSIS
It's been an overall disastrous series for the veteran guard, who's scored six points or fewer in three of the last four games. Outside of a 21-point, six-assist, two-steal showing in Game 3, Conley has been nearly invisible on the offensive end. In Games 2, 4 and 5, Conley has scored only 10 total points on a combined 3-of-23 shooting, including 1-of-10 from three-point territory. With Donovan Mitchell appearing to tweak his hamstring late in Monday's loss, Conley may be counted on more than ever in Thursday's win-or-go-home Game 6 back in Salt Lake City.
Apr 22, 2022
Drops 21 in Thursday's loss
Conley registered 21 points (6-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 7-8 FT), two rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals in 35 minutes during Thursday's 126-118 loss to the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
The veteran point guard bounced back in impressive fashion from a zero-point performance in Game 2, but it wasn't enough to get Utah a win. Conley is averaging 11.3 points, 4.0 assists, 4.0 boards, 1.3 steals and 1.0 threes through three games, numbers which will have to improve if the Jazz are going to overcome a 2-1 series deficit.
Apr 19, 2022
Scoreless in defeat
Conley recorded zero points (0-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 22 minutes during Monday's 110-104 loss to the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Conley failed to score in Game 2, leaving a massive gap in Utah's typical production. Donovan Mitchell, Jordan Clarkson and Bojan Bogdanovic did their best to pick up the slack, but the team's tight nine-man rotation s overworked as it is, and a down game from a high-volume player like Conley has a huge effect.
Apr 16, 2022
Solid in Game 1
Conley contributed 13 points (6-12 FG, 1-2 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 34 minutes during Saturday's 99-93 victory over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Donovan Mitchell and Bojan Bogdanovic were the driving forces of the offense in Game 1, though Conley still contributed as a third option. He'll presumably remain in that role for the remainder of the series, as he averaged just 13.7 points during the regular season.
Apr 9, 2022
Returns with 13 points, eight dimes
Conley supplied 13 points (4-13 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-4 FT), two rebounds, eight assists, one block and one steal in 34 minutes during Friday's 111-105 loss to Phoenix.
ANALYSIS
Conley was his usual, steady self, but he struggled from the field and was unable to stop Utah from blowing yet another double-digit fourth-quarter lead. The veteran's numbers have tailed off a bit this season, though that can somewhat be chalked up to the fact that he's down to 28.6 minutes per game -- his fewest since his rookie year back in 2007-08.
Apr 6, 2022
Out Wednesday
Conley has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Thunder due to right knee injury maintenance.
ANALYSIS
This absence can likely be classified as rest, as Utah will also have Donovan Mitchell (rest) sidelined. With their top two guards out, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Trent Forrest (concussion) and Danuel House are all candidates for increased roles, though Jordan Clarkson will likely handle the majority of the playmaking duties.
Apr 3, 2022
Excels with 26 points
Conley notched 26 points (10-18 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, eight assists and one steal over 36 minutes during Saturday's 111-107 loss to Golden State.
ANALYSIS
Conley tied Donovan Mitchell for the team lead in scoring in the contest, though the point guard was much more efficient with a 10-for-18 shooting line. His point production was his most since he scored 29 points against Milwaukee on March 14. Conley's offensive output has ebbed and flowed over the course of the campaign, and he is currently in a productive stretch during which he has averaged 17.6 points, 5.6 dimes, 2.2 boards, 1.0 steals and 3.2 treys over his past five contests.
Mar 30, 2022
Excellent shooting night in loss
Conley notched 19 points (7-13 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal across 33 minutes during Tuesday's 121-115 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Conley provided a strong presence in the backcourt in the loss and continued his run of accurate shotmaking. Over the past five games, Conley has converted 51.9 percent of his shots with a three-point percentage of 40.3 percent.
Mar 22, 2022
Solid production in return
Conley accumulated 18 points (7-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 33 minutes during Monday's 114-106 loss to the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Conley returned to the starting lineup for the second half of Utah's back-to-back set after sitting out the first half due to rest. The lefty point guard was efficient from the field and dished out a team-high seven assists, but the Jazz couldn't pull a win out against Kevin Durant and the Nets. Conley has been struggling in March and is shooting just 34.8 percent from the field across his last nine appearances, but Monday's performance was a step in the right direction. He'll look to build off of it during the remaining four games of Utah's current six-game road trip.
Mar 21, 2022
Not listed on injury report
Conley (rest) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Monday's matchup with the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Conley sat out the first half of Utah's back-to-back set Sunday due to rest, but he's expected to be back in the starting lineup Monday. The Jazz will be without Bojan Bogdanovic (calf) and Danuel House (knee) again, so Conley and Donovan Mitchell will likely shoulder the offensive load against Brooklyn.
Mar 19, 2022
Out to rest knee
Conley is out Sunday against the Knicks due to right knee injury maintenance.
ANALYSIS
The veteran will sit out the front half of the back-to-back set. He's had a brutal March, shooting just 31.3 percent from the field. In his absence, Jordan Clarkson and Nickeil Alexander-Walker could see more run.
Mar 15, 2022
Breaks shooting slump in loss
Conley notched 29 points (10-13 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, seven assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Monday's 117-111 loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Conley tied for the team lead in scoring in the contest thanks to an ultra-efficient 10-for-13 shooting line that included a 6-for-9 mark from deep. The veteran point guard had been struggling mightily entering the contest, averaging just 4.5 points on an ugly 14.7 percent shooting percentage over his previous four contests. This performance tied Conley's second-highest scoring mark of the campaign and was his first 20-point effort since Jan. 30.
Mar 12, 2022
Out for rest
Conley is out for Saturday's game against the Kings due to rest, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
The veteran will get the night off on the second leg of a back-to-back. More minutes should be available for Jordan Clarkson and Nickeil Alexander-Walker.
Mar 12, 2022
Garners five steals in loss Friday
Conley recorded eight points (2-14 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, five assists and five steals across 31 minutes during Friday's 104-102 loss to San Antonio.
ANALYSIS
Conley racked up a season-high five steals in the loss, salvaging what was otherwise a disappointing night. The veteran guard is going through one of the worst shooting slumps of his career right now, failing to hit more than 20 percent of his shots over the past four games. While he does remain a pretty clear 12-team commodity, managers in need of a boost in production could certainly consider streaming his position.
Mar 8, 2022
Struggles mightily in loss
Conley finished Monday's 111-103 loss to Dallas with three points (1-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and four assists in 26 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Conley was invisible in the loss, scoring just two points to go with very little else. He has now scored a grand total of five points over his past two games, both of which the Jazz have lost. Obviously, he will be better than this but it could be that his days of being an elite fantasy option are behind him. Over the past month, the veteran is averaging just 9.5 points, 5.2 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. With that being said, he is shooting under 30 percent from the floor, a number that is sure to increase over the coming games.
Mar 5, 2022
Out for rest Sunday
Conley will not play for rest purposes Sunday against the Thunder, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The veteran should be back in the fold on the second half of the back-to-back set Monday against the Mavericks. In Conley's stead, Jordan Clarkson should start and take on extra usage.
Feb 28, 2022
Logs 13 points in victory
Conley provided 13 points (5-13 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 27 minutes during Sunday's 118-114 win over the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Conley was held to single-digit scoring totals in each of Utah's three games leading up to the All-Star break, but he's averaged 14.0 points across the last two games. He didn't have much production in rebounds or assists Sunday, but it's been encouraging to see him return to form on the scoreboard after the team's layoff.
Feb 15, 2022
Racks up 10 dimes, four steals
Conley logged two points (1-8 FG, 0-6 3Pt), three rebounds, 10 assists, one block and four steals across 23 minutes during Monday's 135-101 win over Houston.
ANALYSIS
Conley had a horrible night as a shooter, but he somewhat made up for his lack of scoring with his first double-digit assist effort since Jan. 26. The veteran point guard also tallied four thefts after not recording a single steal over his previous three contests. Conley has failed to register double-digit points in two straight games after reaching that mark in each of his previous seven contests.
Feb 8, 2022
Scores 18 for Jazz on Monday
Conley ended Monday's 113-104 victory over the Knicks with 18 points (5-17 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and one block across 30 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Conley's 5-for-17 mark from the field wasn't pretty, but he knocked down all six of his free-throws to finish with his highest scoring total in three contests. The veteran point guard also handed out a team-high seven assists, though he saw his string of games with multiple steals end at four. Conley isn't producing at quite the same level as last season, but he is still proving to be a steady point guard with per-game averages of 14.4 points, 5.3 dimes, 3.0 boards, 2.4 three-pointers and 1.2 steals.
Jan 27, 2022
Posts double-double in return
Conley supplied 16 points (5-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and 10 assists across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 105-97 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Conley was rested for the team's previous game Monday, but he was back in the starting five for Wednesday's contest. The veteran point guard finished with his second double-double of the campaign and fell one dime shy of his season-best mark. Conley's numbers are mostly down this season, but he is still a useful fantasy asset with per-game averages of 14.0 points, 5.3 assists, 3.0 boards, 2.4 three-pointers and 1.1 steals.
Jan 25, 2022
Will play Wednesday
Conley is not on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Playing on the second night of a back-to-back Monday against Phoenix, the Jazz opted to give Conley the night off for rest purposes. As expected, he'll be back in the lineup Wednesday night, though he won't have All-Star teammates Donovan Mitchell (concussion) or Rudy Gobert (calf) by his side.
Jan 24, 2022
Won't play Monday
Conley will not play Monday at Phoenix for injury management reasons, Tim MacMahon of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Essentially, this is an elaborate way of saying the Jazz will rest Conley as they play on the second leg of a back-to-back set after falling to the Warriors on Sunday night. With Donovan Mitchell (concussion) already ruled out and several other regulars questionable, it's very possible that Utah elects to essentially punt this game in hopes of having closer to a fully healthy roster for Wednesday's rematch against the Suns in Salt Lake City.
Jan 18, 2022
Scores 20 points in loss
Conley produced 20 points (6-12 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), one rebound and four assists across 28 minutes during Monday's 101-95 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Conley had one of his better scoring games of the campaign, hitting the 20-point mark for just the eighth time in 39 contests. The veteran point guard was especially effective from deep, going 5-for-9 from beyond the arc. Conley has held moderate fantasy value this season thanks to his contributions as a passer and three-point shooter. He has registered per-game averages of 13.9 points, 5.3 assists, 2.9 rebounds, 2.5 treys and 1.1 steals.
Jan 9, 2022
Limited scoring output
Conley had nine points (3-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 31 minutes during Saturday's 125-113 loss to the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Conley returned from a one-game absence due to injury management and while his scoring numbers were not very high, he did have a strong outing when it comes to filling out the stat sheet. The veteran point guard only holds a secondary role on offense for the Jazz, as evidenced by the fact that he's scored 15 or fewer points in five of his last six appearances.
Jan 8, 2022
Not on injury report
Conley (knee) isn't listed on the injury report for Saturday's game against the Pacers, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley was unavailable for Friday's game against Toronto due to injury management purposes, but he's one of several players for the Jazz who should be back in action Saturday. Across his last three appearances, he's averaged 14.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 29.0 minutes per game.
Jan 6, 2022
One of several players out Friday
Conley will not play Friday at Toronto for injury management purposes, Andy Larsen of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
The Jazz released an extensive injury report that includes essentially their top nine players, so it looks like Friday's game -- which falls on the front end of a back-to-back -- will be used as a rest day for several veterans. All indications are that Conley will return to action Saturday against the Pacers.
Jan 3, 2022
Drops 22 with full line in win
Conley had 22 points (7-15 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists and one block across 30 minutes during Monday's 115-104 victory over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Conley's scoring is down to near-career-low levels this season, but he remains a well-rounded fantasy commodity who adds value in assists, steals, threes, as well as the percentage categories. Conley's 37 combined points, rebounds and assists were his second-most in any game this season (29 points, seven assists, four rebounds vs. BOS on Dec. 4).
Jan 1, 2022
Good to go Saturday
Conley (rest) will be available for Saturday's tilt against the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Conley will return following an absence on the front end of a back-to-back. In 12 December appearances, he averaged 14.8 points, 5.3 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 28.3 minutes.
Dec 30, 2021
To rest on front-end of B2B
Conley will be rested for Friday's game against the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
With the Jazz heading into a back-to-back, they'll rest the veteran point guard Friday with the expectation that he'll return to action Saturday against Golden State. Utah will get Donovan Mitchell (back) back Friday, so he'll likely slide down to the nominal point guard spot.
Dec 21, 2021
Solid effort in victory
Conley amassed 14 points (4-13 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Monday's 112-102 victory over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Although Conley had a tepid night of shooting, his assist numbers and success at the charity stripe helped bolster his final fantasy-point total. The point guard has maintained a solid floor for fantasy managers, and he can occasionally pop for a big night when his shooting stroke cooperates. He's exceeded 20 points four times this season.
Dec 18, 2021
Resting Saturday
Conley has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Wizards due to rest.
ANALYSIS
The Jazz are opting to rest Conley in the second game of a back-to-back after they dropped a close one to the Spurs on Friday. Joe Ingles figures to enter the starting five in place of Conley, as he should be good to return to action Monday against the Hornets.
Nov 23, 2021
Picks up scoring Monday
Conley closed with 19 points (7-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, eight assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Monday's 119-118 loss to the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Conley came into the contest with three single-digit scoring efforts over his previous five games, so it was nice to see him more aggressive and efficient than usual on the offensive end. The veteran point guard didn't sacrifice his distributor role in the process, as he tied for the team lead with eight dimes. Conley is posting per-game averages of 13.8 points, 5.6 assists, 2.6 three-pointers and 1.2 steals over 15 games this season.
Nov 13, 2021
Another low-scoring effort
Conley recorded six points (2-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt), eight assists and one rebound in 27 minutes during Saturday's 111-105 loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Conley has been passing well lately, but his scoring is suffering. The veteran has scored just 24 points across the past three games and has been in single digits three times this season. However, he's provided 8.0 assists per game across his past five appearances.
Nov 10, 2021
Solid in return
Conley scored 12 points (4-9 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six assists, two steals and a rebound over 29 minutes of action in a 110-98 win over the Hawks on Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Conley (rest) sat out the second-half of a back-to-back Sunday, but stepped into his full role Tuesday. Although his ceiling can be limited while sharing a backcourt with Donovan Mitchell, Conley has been a strong source of assists lately and won't burn managers with ugly shooting nights. He'll next take the court Thursday against the Pacers.
Nov 7, 2021
Out against Magic
Conley is out Sunday at Orlando for rest purposes.
ANALYSIS
The Jazz's upcoming game is their second of a back-to-back, which Conley will sit out for "right knee injury maintenance."
Nov 7, 2021
18 points with seven dimes
Conley posted 18 points (7-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven assists, three rebounds, a steal and a block across 32 minutes in Saturday's loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
The veteran point guard surpassed the 15-point mark for the third time in his last four appearances, and he ended just three dimes away from putting up a second straight double-double. Conley is likely to operate as Utah's third- or fourth-best scoring alternative in most nights, but he does enough in other categories to provide decent value across the board regardless of the format.
Nov 5, 2021
Double-double in win
Conley scored 13 points (5-13 FG, 3-9 3Pt), adding on 11 assists, two steals and a rebound in a 116-98 win over the Hawks on Thursday night.
ANALYSIS
Conley played 29 minutes, logging his first double-double since playing Memphis in the first round of last year's playoffs. Thursday marked his first game with more than five assists in a game this season. He has been shooting the ball well and is a crucial part of Utah's championship hopes, value that is omnipresent but sporadically lackluster in fantasy translations.
Nov 1, 2021
Scores 20 points in return
Conley finished with 20 points (6-11 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes during Sunday's 107-95 victory over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Conley returned to action after sitting out against the Bulls, scoring a season-high 20 points. Coming off his worst game of the season against the Rockets, it was great to see Conley back in form. Fantasy managers should be relatively pleased with his start to the season, although, the assist numbers have been underwhelming. It appears he is going to receive regular rest this season, somewhat dampening his overall fantasy outlook.
Oct 31, 2021
Back in action Sunday
Conley (knee) is off the Jazz's injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Bucks, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Though Conley sat out Saturday's 107-99 loss to the Bulls with what was termed as "right knee injury maintenance," his absence was always believed to be more of a rest day for the front end of a back-to-back set. He should reprise his usual duties as the Jazz's starting point guard Sunday and isn't expected to face a minutes limit.
Oct 29, 2021
Out Saturday
Conley is out Saturday against the Bulls due to right knee injury maintenance, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will sit out on the front end of a back-to-back set to rest his knee. In his absence, Jordan Clarkson and Joe Ingles will likely have more playmaking responsibilities.
Oct 11, 2021
Back in action
Conley is in the starting lineup for Monday's preseason game against the Pelicans, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley was rested in Wednesday's exhibition against the Mavs, but he'll be back on the hardwood for Monday's clash. He finished with five points, three rebounds and one steal in 16 minutes Oct. 4 in his preseason debut.
Oct 6, 2021
Resting Wednesday
Conley will sit out Wednesday's preseason tilt against the Mavericks, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The veteran and other key Jazz players are getting the night off. Utah's next preseason game is Monday against the Pelicans.
Aug 2, 2021
Returning to Utah
Conley has agreed to a three-year, $68 million deal to return to the Jazz, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
In an expected move, Conley is returning to the Jazz after missing most of the playoffs with a hamstring injury. During his second season with Utah, Conley averaged 16.2 points, 6.0 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 29.4 minutes per game.
Jun 19, 2021
Can't get going in return
Conley finished with just five points (1-8 FG, 1-6 3pt, 2-2 FT), three assists and two rebounds in 26 minutes during Friday's 131-119 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Conley made his return to the starting lineup after missing the first five games of the series with a right hamstring strain but still looked bothered by the injury. He finished with a season-low five points and failed to make more than one field goal for the first time all year. He closes out the year averaging 16.1 points, 6.2 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 29.3 minutes per game. The 33-year-old will become an unrestricted free agent this summer and should have plenty of suitors after making his first All-Star Game this past season.
Jun 18, 2021
Available Friday
Conley (hamstring) is available for Friday's Game 6 against the Clippers, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley missed the first five games of the series, but he'll return to the court as the Jazz attempt to stave off elimination Friday. It's not yet clear whether he could have a minutes restriction following his absence, but Joe Ingles will likely retreat to the bench in Game 6.
Jun 18, 2021
Eyes return to lineup for Game 6
Conley (hamstring) is working toward a return to the lineup for Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals, source reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley has yet to play in the series, but with the Jazz facing elimination it appears he will attempt to make his return. If he is activated it is uncertain if he will draw the start and how many minutes he will actually play. Expect Joe Ingles to move back to the bench if Conley is plays in the pivotal Game 6.
Jun 17, 2021
Uncertain for Game 6
Conley (hamstring) is questionable for Game 6 against the Clippers on Friday.
ANALYSIS
Conley has yet to play in the series despite being listed as questionable for each game, but we'll see if that changes with the team facing a do-or-die situation in Game 6. If he is able to make a return with the season on the line, Joe Ingles could revert back to a bench role.
Jun 16, 2021
Ruled out of Game 5
Conley (hamstring) will not play in Wednesday's Game 5 against the Clippers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
As had been the case for the first four games of the series, Conley was listed as questionable coming into the day, but the Jazz will again play it safe and hold the veteran out. The series is tied 2-2, but with Kawhi Leonard (knee) already ruled out, the decision to sit Conley is a much easier pill to swallow. It remains to be seen when Conley might make his return to action, but for now the Jazz will continue updating his status on a game-to-game basis.
Jun 15, 2021
Questionable for Game 5
Conley (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Clippers, Mark Medina of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley has yet to play in the series, as he injured his right hamstring in the close-out game against the Grizzlies in the first round. If Conley ends up cleared for Game 5 with the series tied 2-2, he may be on a minutes limit.
Jun 14, 2021
Ruled out Monday
Conley (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday's Game 4 against the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Conley was questionable ahead of Monday's contest but will miss a fourth straight game to begin the series due to a strained right hamstring. Joe Ingles, Donovan Mitchell and Jordan Clarkson should continue to see increased run.
Jun 13, 2021
Questionable for Game 4
Conley (hamstring) is questionable for Monday's Game 4 against the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Conley has missed the first three games of the series due to a right hamstring strain, and he could be on a minutes restriction if he's available Monday. If the 33-year-old is held out, Joe Ingles, Donovan Mitchell and Jordan Clarkson could continue to see increased run.
Jun 12, 2021
Out for Game 3
Conley (hamstring) remains out for Saturday's Game 3 against the Clippers, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will miss a third straight game with a strained right hamstring. Joe Ingles should continue starting and seeing extra playmaking responsibilities.
Jun 11, 2021
Questionable for Game 3
Conley (hamstring) is considered questionable for Game 3 of Utah's series against the Clippers, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley has missed the first two games of this series due to a strained hamstring. In his absence, Joe Ingles has entered the starting lineup, while Donovan Mitchel and Jordan Clarkson have seen more usage with the team's first and second units as a result. More clarity on his status for Saturday should be gained closer to tip-off.
Jun 10, 2021
Ruled out for Game 2
Conley (hamstring) will not play in Thursday's Game 2 against the Clippers, Marc Stein of the New York Times reports.
ANALYSIS
The veteran guard missed Game 1, and he carried a questionable tag heading into Thursday. After being evaluated at shootaround, the Jazz's medical staff has decided it's best to hold Conley out of another contest. Expect Joe Ingles to make another start alongside Donovan Mitchell in the backcourt, while Conley should be considered day-to-day ahead of Saturday's Game 3 in Los Angeles.
Jun 9, 2021
Questionable for Game 2
Conley (hamstring) is questionable for Thursday's Game 2 against the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Conley missed Game 1 due to a strained right hamstring, although the Jazz still secured a victory. There's a chance Conley will be on a minutes limit if cleared. More information could arrive after morning shootaround, but it may end up coming down to a game-time decision. If Conley sits again, Joe Ingles would presumably remain in the starting five. In his Game 1 start, he posted eight points, seven assists and three rebounds in 32 minutes.
Jun 8, 2021
Won't play in Game 1
Conley (hamstring) will not play in Game 1 against the Clippers on Tuesday, Sarah Todd of The Deseret News reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will have to miss the beginning of this second round series due to a hamstring strain suffered in the first round that was described as "mild." With him on the sidelines, Joe Ingles is a strong candidate to move into the starting lineup. Conley's status for Game 2 should be considered questionable at this point.
Jun 7, 2021
Uncertain for Game 1 on Tuesday
Conley (hamstring) is questionable for Game 1 against the Clippers on Tuesday, Sarah Todd of The Deseret News reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley played just 12 minutes in Game 5 against Memphis last week before having to exit with a right hamstring injury, and he remains uncertain for the beginning of the second round. If Conley is unable to go in Game 1, Joe Ingles could slide in as the starting point guard.
Jun 3, 2021
MRI reveals hamstring strain
Conley will be re-evaluated ahead of Utah's second round series after an MRI revealed a mild hamstring strain, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley is considered day-to-day at this point and the team will have several days off before beginning the second round series against either the Clippers or Mavericks. The veteran point guard was troubled and had to miss time due to the same right hamstring late in the regular season, but it sounds like he still has a solid chance at returning for the beginning of the second round. If he's sidelined at all, Utah would likely turn to Joe Ingles as the starting point guard.
Jun 2, 2021
Leaves with hamstring injury
Conley won't return to Wednesday's Game 5 against the Grizzlies due to right hamstring soreness.
ANALYSIS
The 33-year-old dealt with a right hamstring injury earlier in the season, and he may have aggravated the injury Wednesday. Conley had seven points (3-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and two assists in 12 minutes before being ruled out at halftime. Jordan Clarkson and Joe Ingles will see more run with the starters with Conley sidelined.
May 30, 2021
Lights-out from downtown in victory
Conley registered 27 points (8-16 FG, 7-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight assists and six rebounds across 36 minutes in Saturday's 121-111 win over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Conley was in the zone in Friday's win with seven threes and converted on 70 percent of his shots from that range. He played catch-and-shoot with a couple of Mitchell assists, but he was able to fire up several uncontested shots off-the-ball as well. Even though Mitchell will continue to improve and garner a lot of DFS interest, Conley is one of the most consistent and effective players for Utah at the moment.
May 27, 2021
Big game as Jazz even series
Conley had 20 points (8-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and 15 assists in Wednesday's Game 2 win over Memphis.
ANALYSIS
Conley also played well in Game 1 (22 points, 11 assists, six rebounds), but he was even better and more efficient in Game 2. The veteran guard handed out double-digit assists only six times during the regular season, but he seems to have found a groove against the Grizzlies' defense, which allowed 141 points Wednesday night.
May 24, 2021
Double-double in loss
Conley accumulated 22 points (6-18 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 11 assists, six rebounds and two blocks in 33 minutes during Sunday's 112-109 loss to the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
The 33-year-old saw 33 minutes Sunday, which was the highest mark since April 13. Conley missed nine straight games with a hamstring injury from April 28 - May 12 before returning for the Jazz's last two games, where he only averaged 19.1 minutes in that span. The 14-year guard looks to be fully healthy and will try to help even the series Wednesday at home against the eighth-seeded Grizzlies.
May 17, 2021
Continues to progress in finale
Conley finished with 11 points (4-10 FG, 3-3 3Pt), nine assists, six rebounds and three steals across 22 minutes in Sunday's 121-99 win over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Conley looked a lot better in his second game back and came just one assist shy of a double-double. His return comes at the right time as the Jazz gear up to erase the memory of their first-round playoff exit last season. The eventual addition of Donovan Mitchell will bring the squad back to full health, and Conley should thrive as he delivers the ball to his numerous playmakers.
May 15, 2021
Plays 16 minutes in return
Conley had 10 points (2-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three assists and two rebounds in Friday's win over the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Making his return after missing a string of nine games, Conley was in the starting lineup but he was held to just 16 minutes as the Jazz exercise caution with the postseason approaching. It's unclear if the veteran will play in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Kings.
May 14, 2021
Playing on minutes limit
Conley (hamstring) will play Friday against the Thunder, and he'll be on an unspecified minutes limit, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
As expected, Conley is making his long-awaited return following a nine-game absence due to a hamstring injury. He'll likely start, but it would be surprising to see the veteran play more than 25 minutes.
May 14, 2021
Upgraded to probable
Conley (hamstring) has been listed as probable for Friday's game against the Thunder, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports
ANALYSIS
Conley could see his return to action Friday after missing the team's last nine games. The veteran has had an exceptional season so far, averaging 16.4 points, 6.0 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals.
May 13, 2021
Questionable Friday
Conley (hamstring) is questionable for Friday's game against the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Conley has missed the last two games due to right hamstring soreness, but it appears that he could possibly return with the regular season winding down. The veteran guard's potential return would likely spell the end of the Joe Ingles starting point guard era.
May 11, 2021
Still out Wednesday
Conley (hamstring) will not play Wednesday against Portland.
ANALYSIS
This will be the ninth straight absence for Conley, who continues to deal with tightness in his right hamstring. The Jazz ruled Donovan Mitchell (ankle) out for the rest of the season Tuesday, and at this point it wouldn't be surprising if Conley follows suit. With a top-two seed locked up, Utah's goal should be to have its starting backcourt at full strength for Round 1 of the playoffs.
May 9, 2021
Still out Monday
Conley (hamstring) won't play Monday against the Warriors, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will miss an eighth straight game due to right hamstring tightness. Following Sunday's matchup, Conley will have three more chances to return to the court prior to the end of the regular season.
May 8, 2021
Remains sidelined Saturday
Conley (hamstring) has officially been ruled out of Saturday's matchup with the Rockets, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley continues to deal with a tight right hamstring and it is not surprising that the team is exercising caution in order to avoid a lingering issue with the playoffs approaching. However, the absence marks his seventh straight, so it will be ideal for him to return prior to the regular season ending in order to get back into game shape.
May 6, 2021
Out again Friday
Conley (hamstring) will not play Friday against the Nuggets, Eric Walden of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
This will be the sixth straight absence for Conley, and he'll likely run that total up to seven with the Jazz playing on a back-to-back Saturday against Houston. The general belief is that Utah is simply being cautious with the veteran point guard, but with only a handful of regular season games remaining, it's at least mildly concerning that Conley continues to miss time.
May 4, 2021
Out again Wednesday
Conley (hamstring) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Conley will be sidelined for the fifth straight game as he continues to battle hamstring soreness. Jordan Clarkson and Joe Ingles should continue to have increased roles for the Jazz.
May 2, 2021
Won't play Monday
Conley (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Conley will be unavailable for a fourth consecutive game due to a sore right hamstring. Jordan Clarkson and Joe Ingles should continue to see increased run Monday.
Apr 29, 2021
Ruled out Friday
Conley (hamstring) will not play Friday against the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Conley will miss his second game in a row while dealing with a right hamstring issue. With Donovan Mitchell (ankle) also sidelined, Jordan Clarkson, Joe Ingles, Matt Thomas and Miye One could all be looking at increased minutes.
Apr 28, 2021
Aggravates hamstring injury
Conley was ruled out for the Jazz's game Wednesday in Sacramento after aggravating the right hamstring injury that previously sidelined him for six consecutive contests in February, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Jazz are labeling Conley's injury as "left hamstring tightness," but the severity of his setback isn't yet known. Given that he also missed multiple games on two separate occasions in 2019-20 on account of a hamstring injury and a subsequent setback, expect the Jazz to proceed cautiously with Conley, who looks to be at real risk of missing time beyond Wednesday. The Jazz will already be without Donovan Mitchell (ankle) for at least the next two games (and likely more to follow), so Jordan Clarkson, Joe Ingles and Bojan Bogdanovic will likely be thrust into more prominent scoring and play-making roles for the remaining three games of the week if Conley is also unable to quickly move past his injury.
Apr 27, 2021
Out Wednesday
Conley is out for Wednesday's game against the Kings due to right hamstring tightness.
ANALYSIS
With Donovan Mitchell (ankle) also still out, the Jazz will be quite shorthanded in the backcourt. Jordan Clarkson, Joe Ingles, Miye Oni and Matt Thomas are all candidates to see extra usage.
Apr 27, 2021
Scores team-high 26
Conley totaled 26 points (10-19 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 3-5 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists and one block in a 105-104 loss to the Timberwolves on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Conley recorded seven-plus assists for the sixth consecutive game and also scored over 25-plus points for just the fifth time this season. The guard has averaged 10.2 assists across his last six games, as he has been forced to run Utah's offense more with Donovan Mitchell (ankle) missing the last five contests.
Apr 25, 2021
Solid despite shooting struggles
Conley produced 18 points (5-15 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 5-5 FT), seven assists, four steals and two rebounds across 30 minutes in Saturday's 101-96 loss to the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
The team gave way to Bojan Bogdanovic as the team's offensive engine in the loss, and despite a respectable assist total and a season-high four steals, Conley couldn't score consistently enough to record a truly outstanding line. While Donovan Mitchell (ankle) is out, the potential is there for Conley to deliver tremendous upside, but cylinders need to be firing in multiple categories for him to exceed value relative to his salary.
Apr 22, 2021
Picks up double-double
Conley scored 11 points (4-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with 13 assists, five rebounds and two steals in a 112-89 victory over the Rockets on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Conley had a strong all-around performance and picked up his fourth consecutive double-double. Utah was also very successful with the guard on the floor, as he recorded a team-high plus-46 in his 25 minutes of action. Conley has averaged 15.2 points, 10.2 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game across his last five contests and continues to be a reliable source for assists and steals for fantasy managers.
Apr 20, 2021
Collects 10 assists in win
Conley provided 14 points (5-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 10 assists, two rebounds and a steal across 29 minutes in Monday's 111-97 win over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Conley's stock is on the rise due to Donovan Mitchell's extended absence. Although Conley is known to take a rest day in back-to-back games, that may happen with less frequency as they deal with the loss of their All-Star guard. The injury scenario has definitely helped his assist totals, as he's averaged a whopping 11.3 assists over his past three games.
Apr 19, 2021
Available Monday
Conley (knee) will play Monday against the Lakers, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will be back in the lineup Monday as expected after he rested in Saturday's loss to the Lakers. Look for Conley to take on his usual role in the starting guard spot.
Apr 18, 2021
Likely to play Monday
Conley is probable for Monday's game against the Lakers due to right knee soreness.
ANALYSIS
Conley will likely be able to return to the court Monday after he sat out Saturday's matchup for rest purposes. Across his last five appearances, Conley has averaged 14.6 points and 7.0 assists in 31.2 minutes per contest.
Apr 17, 2021
Resting Saturday
Conley (rest) is out for Saturday's game against the Lakers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will get a rest day for the second half of the Jazz' back-to-back along with center Rudy Gobert. With Donovan Mitchell expected to miss multiple games after injuring his ankle Friday night, Jordan Clarkson should see increased run at point guard for the Jazz until Mitchell is able to return.
Apr 16, 2021
Team-high 10 assists
Conley totaled 10 points (3-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 assists, one block and one steal over 32 minutes during Friday's win over the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
For the first time this season, Conley recorded consecutive double-doubles. Conley has struggled with his shot in April, converting on just 41.1 percent of his shots. With Donovan Mitchell awaiting results on an MRI for an ankle sprain, Conley could be called upon to carry a heavier offensive load.
Apr 14, 2021
Dishes out 14 dimes
Conley had 15 points (5-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 14 assists, two rebounds, two steals and a block across 34 minutes in Tuesday's win over the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Conley dished out a season-high 14 dimes in this one, and it was only the third time he recorded at least 10 assists while also recording his third double-double of the campaign. The veteran floor general should remain a solid fantasy asset across most formats, though he's not expected to carry a big chunk of the offensive load with Donovan Mitchell as his backcourt partner.
Apr 13, 2021
Not on injury report
Conley (hamstring) is not on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's game against Oklahoma City.
ANALYSIS
Utah cited a hamstring issue for Conley's absence Monday against the Wizards, but it was simply a rest day for the veteran, who has sat out one half of most back-to-back sets this season. Expect Conley to return to his usual spot in the starting lineup on a night when the Jazz will be without Joe Ingles (knee), Royce O'Neale (rest) and likely Jordan Clarkson (doubtful with sprained ankle).
Apr 11, 2021
Ruled out Monday
Conley has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Wizards due to right hamstring injury management.
ANALYSIS
Conley had averaged 19.0 points, 4.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds in 30.3 minutes per game across his last four appearances. He'll sit out the first half of a back-to-back set Monday but could presumably return to the court for Tuesday's matchup against Oklahoma City. Donovan Mitchell and Matt Thomas should see plenty of run for the Jazz on Monday.
Apr 11, 2021
Surpasses 25-point mark again
Conley mustered 26 points (8-14 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds, four assists and a steal across 32 minutes in Saturday's win over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Conley has been posting better scoring numbers in recent games and has surpassed the 25-point mark in three of his last six contests, but the veteran point guard was unable to reach the 15-point plateau in the other three games during that span. Conley could use a bit more consistency on his scoring figures on a nightly basis, but he's been a regular double-digit scorer this season and should retain decent upside across all formats as the team's main playmaker while holding a secondary scoring role.

Struggles with shot in win
Conley posted 11 points (3-12 FG,, 2-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three assists and three rebounds across 23 minutes in Thursday's 122-103 win over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
It may have been in Conley's best interest to log his customary rest day on a back-to-back, but Jordan Clarkson's (ankle) made his presence more of a priority. One shouldn't put much stock n Conley's poor shooting as this usage deviation hasn't been the norm for the veteran guard.
Apr 8, 2021
Available Thursday
Conley (rest) is not listed on the injury report for Thursday's game against Portland.
ANALYSIS
Conley looks like he'll be available for his fifth back-to-back of the season as he is absent from the team's injury report ahead of Thursday's contest. In his last five appearances, Conley has averaged 19.2 points, 5.6 assists, 2.8 rebounds, 3.0 triples and 1.4 steals per contest.
Apr 8, 2021
Not on injury report
Conley (rest) is not on the injury report for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley has played in four back-to-backs this season, but he sat out at least one of the games in Utah's four most recent back-to-backs. He may be rested Thursday, but his absence from the injury report suggests he's available. Fantasy managers should keep an eye out leading up to tipoff.
Apr 6, 2021
Explodes for 28 points Monday
Conley totaled 28 points (8-13 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven assists, three rebounds and one steal in 31 minutes during Monday's 111-103 loss to the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Conley was back on the floor for the Jazz after sitting out on Saturday against the Magic. On the back of a 26-point effort in his last game, Conley kept his foot on the gas and was really the only bright spot for the Jazz on what was a disappointing night. Given the success the team has enjoyed this season, this should be viewed as simply a blip on the radar. For Conley, he continues to put together a fantastic season, and outside of a few missed games, he has certainly been able to outperform his preseason rank.
Apr 3, 2021
Out Saturday
Conley will not play in Saturday's matchup with the Magic for injury management purposes, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley and the Jazz are playing in the second night of a back-to-back set, so this news does not gome out of nowhere. His absence should result in Donovan Mitchell running more time at the point, while Jordan Clarkson figures to also see an expanded role off the bench. The veteran point guard's next chance to suit up will come Monday versus the Mavericks.
Apr 1, 2021
Turns back the clock in win
Conley finished with 26 points (11-18 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven assists, four rebounds and four steals in 35 minutes during Wednesday's 111-107 victory over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Conley came back to haunt his former team, piling on a team-high 26 points to go with four steals. Donovan Mitchell (personal) was ruled out earlier in the day meaning Conley stepped into a larger role, especially on the offensive end of the floor. Extenuating circumstances aside, Conley is putting together a really solid season and with the Jazz likely pushing for the top seed in the West, he should be considered a highly reliable fantasy asset moving forward.
Mar 30, 2021
Scores 18 in return
Conley tallied 18 points (5-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and five assists in 25 minutes during Monday's 114-75 win over the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Conley returned to the starting lineup Monday after missing Saturday's game due to right hamstring management. The 33-year-old bounced back from Friday's awful 2-for-13 shooting effort to post an efficient 18 points while making three three-pointers in the process. The 14-year veteran should continue providing fantasy managers with solid points, assists, rebounds and three-pointers, but as has been the case for most of the year, he will be held out of one-half of Utah's back-to-back sets.
Mar 29, 2021
Set to return Monday
Conley (hamstring) is not on the injury report ahead of Monday's game versus the Cavs.
ANALYSIS
As has been the case for most of the year, the Jazz held Conley out of one-half of their Friday/Saturday back-to-back set against the Grizzlies. But all signs point to the veteran guard returning to the starting lineup at point guard Monday, which should send Joe Ingles back to the bench.
Mar 27, 2021
Ruled out Saturday
Conley will not play in Saturday's game against the Grizzlies due to to right hamstring injury management.
ANALYSIS
The Jazz are playing the second night of the a back-to-back set, so their decision to err on the side of caution with their veteran point guard is unsurprising. Barring any setbacks, Conley will presumably be on track to suit up against the Cavs on Monday. In his absence, Donovan Mitchell will likely handle more point guard responsibilities, while Jordan Clarkson should also see increased run. Joe Ingles is a strong candidate to start.
Mar 27, 2021
Poor shooting night in win
Conley had just five points (2-13 FG, 1-6 3Pt), to go with eight assists and five rebounds, in Friday's win over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
It was a nightmare shooting night for the veteran, but he was able to hand out eight assists and add a steal in 29 minutes of action. The effort snapped a 21-game streak of double-digit scoring efforts for Conley, who's was averaging 18.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.0 steal in six post-All-Star break games entering Friday.
Mar 20, 2021
Scores 15 in return
Conley had 15 points (5-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-7 FT), six rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in Friday's win over Toronto.
ANALYSIS
Conley and Donovan Mitchell (0-9 3Pt) combined to hit just one of 15 attempts from deep, but the Jazz backcourt still provided enough to bounce back after a loss to the Wizards on Thursday night. It marked the return to action for Conley, who sat out Thursday's game for maintenance purposes.
Mar 19, 2021
Playing Friday
Conley (rest/hamstring) is available for Friday's game against the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
After sitting out Thursday's game for rest on the first part of a back-to-back set, the veteran will be back in the lineup Friday, which should push Joe Ingles back to the bench. This month, Conley has averaged 17.6 points, 5.0 assists and 2.2 rebounds in 31.8 minutes.
Mar 17, 2021
Out for injury management at WAS
Conley will sit out Thursday night's game at Washington for injury management purposes.
ANALYSIS

Mar 16, 2021
Scores 17 in win
Conley recorded 17 points (6-12 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five assists, one rebound and one block in 32 minutes during Tuesday's win against the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
The 33-year-old is enjoying an efficient month of March, averaging 17.6 points, 5.0 assists and 2.8 three-pointers while shooting 57 percent from the field over his last five games. Conley is averaging a career-high in three-pointers (2.8) and three-point percentage (42 percent) through 32 games this season. The veteran point guard should continue to hover around 30 minutes and produce top-75 fantasy numbers the rest of the way.
Mar 14, 2021
Consecutive 20-point performances
Conley dropped 23 points (8-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six assists, two rebounds and one steal over 32 minutes during Sunday's loss to the Warriors.

He's now increased his point total in four straight games while increasing his assist total in three straight. In two games after the All-Star break, Conley is averaging 21.5 points, 5.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds on 59.3 percent shooting.
Mar 13, 2021
Contributes 20 points in win
Conley scored 20 points (8-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and dished four assists across 32 minutes Friday in a 114-99 victory over the Rockets.

Mar 3, 2021
Adds 18 in losing effort
Conley went for 18 points (6-13 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds and two assists in 35 minutes of Wednesday's overtime loss to the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Conley continues to shoot the ball extremely well from distance this season. After Wednesday's performance, he is now shooting a career best 42.2 percent from deep. Conley did have his streak of consecutive games in which he dished out at least five assists snapped at four games.
Mar 2, 2021
Solid in return
Conley scored 10 points (4-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt) with eight assists, three rebounds and two steals in Utah's 129-124 loss to New Orleans on Monday.
ANALYSIS
After missing one game due to a sore hamstring, Conley returned to the lineup and had a solid two-way performance. The guard now has at least two steals in four of the last five games, which has bumped his season average to 1.5 per game. Conley missed half of February due to hamstring issues, but averaged 15.1 points, 4.4 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals when he was available.
Mar 1, 2021

Feb 27, 2021
Out Saturday
Conley is out for Saturday's game against the Magic due to hamstring tightness management, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley missed time due to a hamstring issue in mid-February, and the team will be extra cautious with him on the second night of a back-to-back. In his absence Saturday, Joe Ingles and Jordan Clarkson should see expanded roles.
Feb 27, 2021
Dishes out seven dimes
Conley went for 14 points (6-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt), seven assists, two rebounds and two steals over 33 minutes during Friday's 124-116 loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS

Posts full stat line Wednesday
Conley tallied 14 points (5-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt), eight rebounds, eight assists and two steals in a blowout 114-89 win over the Lakers on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Conley contributed as both a scorer and distributor in the victory, helping Utah to its 22nd victory in its last 24 games. The point guard recently missed six contests with a hamstring injury, but he hasn't suffered any setbacks since returning Feb. 19. In three games since that date, he has averaged 15.0 points, 4.3 assists and 2.0 steals.
Feb 20, 2021
Logs 16 points in limited minutes
Conley (hamstring) logged 16 points (5-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one block and one steal across 25 minutes Friday in a 116-112 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Conley played only 25 minutes in his first match back from a six-game absence. Though he ceded much playing time to Jordan Clarkson (27 minutes), the 33-year-old is expected to reclaim his original role and value as Donovan Mitchell's backcourt partner. Conley has averaged 20.1 points, 5.9 assists and 1.4 steals across 12 games in which he's played 30 or more minutes. He will look at recording that amount of playing time again, starting with Monday's game against the Hornets.
Feb 19, 2021
Will return Friday
Conley (hamstring) is active for Friday's game against the Clippers, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will return to the lineup following a string of six consecutive absences. It remains to be seen if he wil be facing some type of minutes limit. His return will presumably send Joe Ingles back to a reserve role.
Feb 18, 2021
Questionable for Friday
Conley (hamstring) is questionable for Friday's game against the Clippers, Sarah Todd of The Deseret News reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley has missed six games in a row with a sore right hamstring and his status is still up in the air for Friday's rematch with the Clippers. Should Conley have to miss another game, Joe Ingles will continue to be the primary beneficiary.
Feb 17, 2021
Out Wednesday
Conley (hamstring) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Clippers, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will miss his sixth straight game Wednesday with a sore right hamstring. Joe Ingles will presumably get another start at shooting guard with Conley sidelined, with Jordan Clarkson providing depth off the bench. Conley's next chance to return will come Friday against the Clippers.
Feb 16, 2021
Questionable Wednesday
Conley (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Clippers, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS

Feb 14, 2021
Will remain out Monday
Conley (hamstring) will not play in Monday's game against the 76ers, Eric Walden of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
This will be the fifth straight absence for Conley, who continues to nurse soreness in his right hamstring. As the Jazz enter a three-game week, Conley should probably be left on the bench in Week 9 considering the best-case scenario is he returns for Wednesday's game against the Clippers.
Feb 13, 2021
Won't play Saturday
Conley (hamstring) won't play Saturday against the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Conley will miss a fourth straight game as he continues to deal with right hamstring tightness. It's not yet clear whether he could return Monday against the 76ers, but Joe Ingles should see increased run for the Jazz once again Saturday.
Feb 13, 2021
Status undetermined Saturday
Conley (questionable) could play Saturday against Miami.
ANALYSIS
Updating a previous report, Conley has missed the past three games for the Jazz, but the team hasn't yet released the injury report for Saturday's game. If he's unable to play, Joe Ingles should see increased run for Utah.

Ruled out Saturday

Feb 11, 2021
Will not play Friday
Conley (hamstring) will not play in Friday's game against the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Conley will miss his third game in a row due to hamstring soreness but is without a clear timetable for a return. The veteran point guard's absence has increased the workload of Joe Ingles, who went for 24 points and six dimes in Tuesday's win over Boston.
Feb 10, 2021
Hamstring injury not significant
The Jazz don't believe the right hamstring injury that has sidelined Conley for the team's last two games is as serious as the one he dealt with during the 2019-20 season, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley dealt with an injury to his left hamstring during his first year with Utah, sitting out 19 times in a 20-game stretch at one point. The veteran's absence was likely lengthened by returning before he was back to full health, as he aggravated the injury in his first game back and then was forced to sit out the next 14 contests. With that history in mind, the Jazz are content to take a cautious approach for Conley, who is being evaluated on a day-to-day basis but remains without a clear timetable to return. The Jazz should provide another update on Conley's situation Thursday, when the team releases its initial injury report ahead of Friday's game against the Bucks.
Feb 8, 2021
Won't play Tuesday
Conley (hamstring) won't play in Tuesday's contest against Boston, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
ANALYSIS

Feb 6, 2021
Won't play Sunday
Conley (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game at Indiana.
ANALYSIS
The 33-year-old left Friday's contest due to right hamstring tightness and will miss at least one game as a result. Joe Ingles and Jordan Clarkson should see increased run in Conley's absence for the Jazz.
Feb 5, 2021
Will not return
Conley (hamstring) will not return to Friday's game against the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Conley exited Friday's game during the fourth quarter after suffering right hamstring tightness. The Jazz have opted to err on the side of caution with their veteran point gaurd. His status for Sunday's game against the Pacers is uncertain at this point.
Feb 5, 2021
Heads to locker room
Conley went to the locker room in the fourth quarter of Friday's game against the Hornets with an apparent injury, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The Jazz have yet to provide a reason for Conley's departure, but he exited the game early in the fourth quarter. It's not yet clear whether he'll be able to return to the contest.
Feb 3, 2021
Stuffs stat sheet Tuesday
Conley registered 20 points (7-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five assists, four rebounds and a steal across 32 minutes in Tuesday's win over the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Conley was one of two Utah players that reached the 20-point mark, but the veteran point guard also left his mark in other areas of the game while delivering a balanced stat line across the board. Conley has now scored 20 or more points in two of his last three games, and he has also dished out five or more assists in five straight contests.
Jan 31, 2021
Struggles from field in loss
Conley had 12 points (2-10 FG, 1-6 3PT, 7-7 FT), eight assists and three rebounds in Sunday's loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
On the whole, it's been a bounceback year for Conely, but this was not one of his finer performances, as he went just 1-of- 6 from beyond the arc after hitting at least three three-pointers in each of his previous four games. Still, Conley remains a capable starter in fantasy leagues as the Jazz enter a four-game Week 7.
Jan 30, 2021
Totals 22 points, nine dimes
Conley scored 22 points (7-17 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT), dished nine assists and racked up three steals in Friday's win over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Conley continues to be a catalyst in Utah's offense, as he lead the team in assists and ranked second in scoring in Friday's victory. The veteran point guard also tallied three steals for the third time in his last five games while dishing his most dimes since Jan. 19. Conley ranks 14th in the NBA with 1.6 thefts per game this season and is also averaging 16.8 points, 2.9 three-pointers and 6.1 assists.
Jan 27, 2021
Continues contributing to Jazz wins
Conley recorded 19 points (5-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds and five assists in a 108-94 win Tuesday versus New York.
ANALYSIS
Conley logged 14 points across a third quarter the Jazz utilized to cut an earlier 13-point deficit and win. The veteran has now scored in double figures during each of their past nine wins, barring one (Jan. 19 vs. NOR) he made up for with 10 assists. Conley proved to be an efficient component across that nine-game span by averaging 15.8 points on a 49.0 shot percentage.
Jan 24, 2021
Runs hot from deep in win
Conley tallied 17 points (6-11 FG, 5-9 3Pt), three steals, one rebound and one assist in 27 minutes Saturday in the Jazz's 127-108 win over the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Conley played an integral part in engineering the blowout win, with his hot shooting from distance allowing the Jazz to turn the game into a runaway after three quarters. After a rough first season in Utah, Conley looks far more comfortable in his second campaign with the Jazz. He's raised his scoring average by two points (from 14.4 to 16.4) while shooting 46.3 percent from the field and 42.2 percent on three-point attempts.
Jan 22, 2021
Showing two-way prowess at home
Conley recorded 20 points (8-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six assists, three steals, two rebounds and one block in a 129-118 win Thursday versus New Orleans.
ANALYSIS
Conley recorded 10 assists Tuesday and 20 points Thursday across back-to-back home wins over the Pelicans. The Jazz will play four more times in Utah before their next away matchup on Jan. 31 (at Denver). It is promising news regarding Conley, who averaged better stats across his past six home games with 18.3 points and 6.5 assists.
Jan 18, 2021
Dishes out eight dimes again
Conley registered 14 points (6-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 0-4 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and a steal across 31 minutes in Sunday's win at Denver.
ANALYSIS
Conley ended just two assists shy of a double-double for the second game in a row, and he also extended his streak of games with at least 10 points to five contests in a row. He only has one double-double this season, but Conley has been effective as a secondary scorer and a primary playmaker at the same time -- he is averaging 16.8 points and 6.0 assists per game.
Jan 16, 2021
Two assists shy of double-double
Conley posted 15 points (5-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, eight assists and four steals across 27 minutes in Friday's win over the Hawks.
ANALYSIS
Conley has scored in double digits in each of his last four contests while dishing out five or more assists in each game as well. The veteran point guard continues to deliver as Donovan Mitchell's partner in the backcourt and, while he's focused more on being the team's main playmaker, he is still averaging 17.1 points, 5.8 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game in 2020-21. That's a marked increase compared to what he did in the 2019-20 season, his first as a member of the Jazz.
Jan 11, 2021
Strong season continues in win
Conley amassed 22 points (8-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six assists, five rebounds and two steals in 30 minutes during Sunday's 96-86 victory over the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Conley continues to chug along at top-60 speed, rewarding those who were able to nab him in the later rounds of drafts. He is a great plug-and-play option right now with very little reason to be either buying or selling. As long as he can avoid injuries, Conley should be able to maintain this kind of production moving forward.
Jan 8, 2021
Double-double in win
Conley posted 17 points (6-12 FG, 5-10 3Pt), 10 assists and three rebounds over 29 minutes in the 131-118 win over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
After scoring a combined 17 points over his last two games, Conley was able get back on track. The 10 assists mark the first time Conley has hit double-digit assists since March of 2019. After starting the season having played in 30 minutes in five consecutive games, Conley has failed to reach that plateau in four straight games.
Jan 6, 2021
Struggles to shoot well
Conley had eight points (3-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-2 FT), five assists, three rebounds and one steal during Tuesday's 130-96 loss against the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Conley failed to shoot above 33.3 percent in each of the four quarters he played. The performance was clearly underwhelming, but it is an outlier compared to what he has previously accomplished. Conley is still averaging 18.6 points while shooting above 45.0 percent from the field and three-point line.
Jan 1, 2021
Dominant against Clippers
Conley totaled 33 points (11-20 FG, 7-14 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven assists, two rebounds and one steal over 34 minutes in Friday's 106-100 win over the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Conley has played at least 30 minutes in each of the first five games of the season, and he led the Jazz in scoring with 33 points, his highest scoring total since joining the team last year. The 33-year-old has been an offensive force for Utah recently, posting at least 20 points in three of the last four contests.
Dec 28, 2020
Flirts with triple-double in win
Conley posted 20 points (8-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, nine assists, a steal and a blocked shot across 32 minutes in Monday's 110-109 win over the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Not only was it Conley's first double-double with the Jazz, but he also came one assist short of the hat trick. It's taken a couple of games for Conley to warm up, a trait that he mimicked last season as he settled in with his new team. He enters his second season in Salt Lake City with a firmer hand on the offense, and he has a vast array of weapons at his disposal as the Jazz's defacto floor general.
Dec 27, 2020
Puts up 20 points in loss
Conley produced 20 points (6-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-8 FT), six rebounds, four assists and a steal across 34 minutes in Saturday's 116-111 loss to the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Although the Jazz were on the losing end of this matchup, Conley had a decent game. He didn't play well at all throughout the preseason and only collected two assists in the season opener.
Dec 11, 2020
Out for exhibition opener
Conley will not play in Saturday's preseason opener against the Suns for rest purposes.
ANALYSIS
No surprise here, as Conley just cleared quarantine and returned to practice Tuesday. Look for the Jazz to ease their veteran starting point guard back into the swing of things before the regular season tips off.
Dec 8, 2020
Practices Tuesday
Conley (not injury related) went through Tuesday's practice, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley had close contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19, so he missed practice time. However, he joined the team Tuesday and will presumably be available for Utah's first preseason game, which is Saturday against the Suns.
Dec 5, 2020
Candidate to have rest days
Coach Quin Synder intimated that his preference to rest players will be to sit them out entirely rather than try to manage their minutes, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. Given Conley's age (33), there's a strong chance he'll have rest days.
ANALYSIS
Conley, Joe Ingles and Bojan Bogdanovic are the three players on the Jazz older than 30, so we could see rest days for that trio. At the same time, Conley will be looking to have a bounceback season after the early portion of his 2019-20 campaign was a disaster. He picked things up at the end of the year, though, and across his final 12 appearances, he averaged 17.2 points on 45/40/95 shooting, 5.3 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.1 steals.
Dec 4, 2020
In COVID protocol
Conley was not at practice Friday after having close contact with person who tested positive for COVID-19, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will remain sidelined until it is established that he has not also contracted the virus. The veteran guard said he expects to be quarantined through Monday as long as he continues to test negative. His status for the preseason, which begins Dec. 12 for Utah, will depend on continued negative tests.
Nov 12, 2020
To opt in for 2020-21
Conley will not exercise the early termination option in his contract for the 2020-21 season, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
This is all but a formality for Conley, who by opting in will guarantee himself the $34.5 million on his contract for next season. The veteran guard had a disappointing first year in Utah, but he found some level of comfortability late in the season, and the hope is that he'll serve as a more productive complement to Donovan Mitchell in 2020-21. Conley finished last season with averages of 14.4 points, 4.4 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 47 games.
Sep 2, 2020
Struggles from the floor in series loss
Conley amassed just eight points (2-13 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven assists, four rebounds and three steals in 40 minutes during Monday's 80-78 loss to Denver.
ANALYSIS
Conley picked a bad time to go cold from the floor, bumbling his way to eight points in the Game 7 loss. Despite this effort, Conley has certainly looked better during his time in Orlando. After an indifferent season in Utah, Conley was beginning to look more like the player we had come to expect. It will be interesting to see if he can maintain things heading into next season or whether another decline is on the cards.

Leads team with six assists
Conley produced 21 points (7-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six assists, five rebounds and a steal across 34 minutes in Sunday's 119-107 loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Despite an excellent outing, Conley's most poignant moment occurred when Rudy Gobert scolded him for blowing a defensive assignment in the fourth quarter, and it resulted in a chair-kicking tantrum from the center. Despite that brief disruption, Conley hit some pivotal three-pointers down the stretch that kept the Jazz within striking distance. He also excelled in getting the ball to playmakers throughout the contest. He'll continue to direct the offense alongside Donovan Mitchell during Tuesday's Game 7 battle.
Aug 25, 2020
Struggles from field
Conley registered 17 points (5-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five assists, four rebounds, a steal and a block in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 117-107 Game 5 loss against the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Conley topped the 25-point plateau in his first two games in the playoffs, but he couldn't repeat that performance in Game 5 after struggling from the field -- he only made five shots and connected on 33.3 percent of his treys. The veteran point guard will hope to deliver a better scoring effort in Game 6 on Thursday.
Aug 21, 2020
Scores 27, drains seven treys
Conley (personal) finished with 27 points (9-13 FG, 7-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four assists and one steal in 25 minutes during Friday's 124-87 Game 3 win against the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Conley returned to the lineup after missing the first two playoff games to be with his wife for the birth of their child, and he didn't miss a beat. In fact, Conley ended up with more points than minutes while sinking a playoff career-high seven treys. Moreover, he didn't need to log a ton of minutes given that the game was seemingly in hand entering the fourth quarter. Conley will look to build on this superb performance heading into Sunday's Game 4.
Aug 21, 2020
Set to go Friday
Conley (personal) is clearing quarantine and will play in Game 3 Friday against the Nuggets, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The 32-year-old missed the first two games of the series as he left the bubble last weekend to be with his wife for the birth of their child, but he'll be back with the team for Game 3. Conley figures to reclaim his spot in the starting five from Juwan Morgan.
Aug 20, 2020
Probable for Game 3
Conley (personal) is considered probable for Friday's Game 3 against the Nuggets, Marc Stein of the New York Times reports.
ANALYSIS
This is a major development for the Jazz, who were without Conley for Games 1 and 2 after he departed the bubble to be with his wife following the birth of the couple's child. Conley returned to Orlando on Tuesday morning and looks to be on track to clear his mandatory quarantine period prior to Friday's tip. The veteran will likely return to the starting lineup, which featured Juwan Morgan in his place for Games 1 and 2.
Aug 18, 2020
Returns to bubble
Conley (personal) returned to the Orlando bubble on Tuesday, Andy Larsen of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley departed the bubble last week to be with his wife after the birth of their child, but he made his return Tuesday and will begin a mandatory quarantine period. It's not yet clear how long Conley will be required to self-isolate, but he'll miss at least Wednesday's Game 2, and perhaps Friday's Game 3, as well.
Aug 16, 2020
Leaves the bubble
Conley (personal) departed the bubble for the birth of his son on Sunday, Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press reports.
ANALYSIS
With the news of Conley's departure, he will be forced to miss multiple games during the first round matchup with the Nuggets beginning on Monday. As the guard will have to undergo a mandatory quarantine upon his return to the bubble in addition to the time he will be missing while outside the bubble, it could be a while until we see the 32-year-old back on the court. Look for Jordan Clarkson and Emmanuel Mudiay to pick up the majority of the minutes vacated by Conley.
Aug 12, 2020
Out Thursday
Conley (knee) will not play in Thursday's matchup against the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Conley will take a rest for Utah's seeding game finale, while Rudy Gobert (back) is also out and Emmanuel Mudiay (knee) is questionable. If Mudiay sits also, Jordan Clarkson and Justin Wright-Foreman could see plenty of minutes.
Aug 8, 2020
Mixed bag in 2OT loss
Conley recorded 20 points (8-19 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal in 44 minutes during Saturday's 134-132 double-OT loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Conley was passably efficient in the loss, but he was cold from beyond the arc and turned the ball over as many times as he assisted his teammates. That said, he's looked like a new player in the bubble overall. Including this contest, Conley is averaging 19.8 points and 5.6 assists in his five seeding appearances.
Aug 8, 2020
Active Saturday
Conley (knee) is absent from Utah's injury report ahead of Saturday's matchup with the Nuggets, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley was held out of Friday's game against the Spurs. It looks like the Jazz were just erring on the side of caution, given it was the first game in a back-to-back set. Barring any setbacks, look for him to take on his usual workload.
Aug 6, 2020
Out Friday vs. Spurs
Conley is out Friday against the Spurs due to right knee soreness.
ANALYSIS
Conley will be out for the first game of a back-to-back set Friday. He was coming off an excellent performance Wednesday where he posted 23 points, seven assists, five rebounds and one steal in 34 minutes. In his stead, and with Donovan Mitchell (leg), Rudy Gobert (rest) and Royce O'Neale (calf) also out, plenty of opportunities should open up for Jordan Clarkson and Emmanuel Mudiay.
Aug 5, 2020
Excellent in win
Conley posted 23 points (6-13 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 7-7 FT), seven assists, five rebounds and one steal in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 124-115 win over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
This was one of Conley's best performances as a member of the Jazz, as it appears the hiatus did him some good. It's his third 20-point effort of the restart and his second performance with at least seven dimes.
Aug 4, 2020
Dishes out eight dimes
Conley notched 24 points (8-17 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 5-5 FT), eight assists and two rebounds in 34 minutes during Monday's 116-108 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Conley has been very inconsistent in his first three games since the restart -- he scored at least 20 points in two of them, but he shot 33.3 percent from the field in the remaining one. His eight assists in this game were a personal-best for him since Nov. 25, when he delivered nine assists in a road loss against the Bucks. The veteran point guard is shooting 42.9 percent from the field and 31.6 percent from three-point range in his first three outings since the league resumed.
Aug 1, 2020
Crashes back to earth vs. OKC
Conley posted 12 points (3-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four assists, two rebounds and one steal in 29 minutes during Saturday's 110-94 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
After scoring 20 points in the opener, Conley was held in check by the strong defensive backcourt of the Thunder. It wasn't a horrible performance, but he struggled from the field and handed the ball over three times compared to his four assists.
Jul 31, 2020
Scores 20 against Pels
Conley scored 20 points (7-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT) while adding four assists, a rebound, a steal and a block in 34 minutes during Thursday's 106-104 win over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
The veteran came through with a strong effort as the league resumed play, helping to spearhead a Jazz backcourt that had three different members deliver at least 20 points. Conley's first campaign with Utah has been a bit of a disappointment so far -- he's averaged fewer than five assists a game for only the second time in the last decade, and his 14.0 points per game prior to the break was his worst performance since 2011-12 -- but the extra rest may have been just what the 32-year-old needed.
Jul 27, 2020
Scores 18, splashes four treys
Conley finished with 18 points (7-11 FG, 4-6 3Pt), one assist, one steal and one block in 19 minutes during Monday's 112-107 scrimmage win over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Conley has been aggressive in the scrimmages since the restart and looks like a different player than the one we saw for the majority of the current season. He seems set to continue taking on a larger role offensively with Bojan Bogdanovic (wrist) likely out for the remainder of the campaign.
Jul 25, 2020
Drops 17 against Heat
Conley scored 17 points (7-15 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding six rebounds, an assist and a steal in 25 minutes off the bench during Saturday's scrimmage against the Heat.
ANALYSIS
The Jazz won the scrimmage 101-99, and the veteran backcourt duo of Conley and Jordan Clarkson were the engine of the Utah offense. Conley could miss some time next month as his wife is expecting a child in late August, but while he's in the Orlando bubble, the Jazz will be counting on the point guard to help shoulder some of the load created by the absence of Bojan Bogdanovic (wrist).
Jul 23, 2020
Scores 12 against Phoenix
Conley posted 12 points (4-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), two rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 21 minutes during Thursday's 101-88 loss against the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Conley might not remain with the Jazz for the entire postseason run due to the upcoming birth of his child, but he should remain a valuable contributor for the Jazz as long as he remains in Orlando. The veteran point guard averaged 14.9 points with 5.0 assists per game in his last nine appearances before play got suspended in March.
Jul 5, 2020
Could miss time during playoffs
Conley could decide to leave Orlando in late August and rejoin the Jazz at a later date following the upcoming birth of his child, Sarah Todd of The Deseret News reports.
ANALYSIS
Based on the current schedule laid out by the NBA for the resumption of the season, the expected due date for Conley's child would fall around the second round of the playoffs. The veteran point guard hasn't explicitly said that he would leave the Jazz to witness the birth, but if he does choose to exit the Orlando "bubble," he could need to go through a quarantine process before he's eligible to rejoin the team. Coach Quin Snyder said Sunday that he'll support whatever Conley elects to do as his wife's due date approaches, but until then, the 32-year-old is expected to continue training and playing in games with the Jazz. Conley has endured a rough first season in Utah from both a performance and health standpoint, but he's nonetheless expected to benefit from an uptick in both minutes and usage as the Jazz return to action without the services of Bojan Bogdanovic (wrist), who underwent season-ending surgery while the NBA was on hiatus.
Mar 10, 2020
Fills stat sheet in loss
Conley generated 13 points (4-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven assists, six rebounds and one steal in 34 minutes Monday in the Jazz's 101-92 loss to the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Conley hit only a third of his shots from the field for the second straight game, but he was at least able to fill out the stat sheet nicely to make up for the rough shooting night. Though he's been a major disappointment for his fantasy managers this season, Conley's production has at least been trending up since the All-Star break. Through nine second-half outings, he's averaging 14.9 points, 5.0 assists, 3.3 boards, 2.6 triples and 1.0 steal while shooting 45.3 percent from the field and 88.2 percent from the line.
Mar 7, 2020
Erupts for 25 points
Conley registered 25 points (9-16 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five assists, three rebounds and three steals in 34 minutes during Friday's 99-94 win at Boston.
ANALYSIS
Conley seems to be trending in the right direction after notching double-digit scoring figures in six of his last seven contests after a three-game absence last month. He has settled as Utah's starting point guard and his numbers are solid -- 17.3 points, 4.8 assists and 45.6 percent from three-point range in his last 11 games since moving to the starting unit.
Mar 5, 2020
Scores 17 in efficient fashion
Conley amassed 17 points (6-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six assists and two rebounds in 27 minutes during Wednesday's 112-104 win over the Knicks.
ANALYSIS
Conley has scored 15 or more in four straight games and has dished exactly six dimes in three straight. It has undoubtedly been a rough season for the 32-year-old veteran, but he has strung together several solid showings across the last week. Conley will try to keep this recent streak of strong play alive during Friday's matchup versus the Celtics.
Feb 26, 2020
Staying in starting lineup
Contrary to an earlier report, Conley will remain in Utah's starting lineup, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
It turns out Conley will stick in the starting five while Joe Ingles moves to a bench role in favor of Royce O'Neale. The veteran guard has started 28 of his 34 appearances this season, averaging 14.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 29.7 minutes in those contests.
Feb 26, 2020
Pulled from starting five
Conley has been pulled from Utah's starting five and will be replaced by Royce O'Neale, Shams Charania and Tony Jones of The Athletic report.
ANALYSIS
Jazz coaches believe that O'Neale's defensive presence works best in the starting five, with the move also allowing Joe Ingles to take on a bigger role in the offense. The decision is one that reflects how poorly Conley's fit has been with the Jazz thus far. He's shooting just 39.4 percent from the field, and the team has been 4.1 points per 100 possessions better with him off the court. Conley is still expected to retain a significant role in the offense, helping run the second unit.
Feb 25, 2020
Barren box score
Conley finished with eight points (4-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt) one assist and three turnovers in 22 minutes during Monday's 131-111 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
After scoring at least 10 points in Utah's seven prior games, Conley failed to display much offensive initiative Monday. That in addition to the significant drop from his versatile outing on Saturday resulted in a dud for fantasy owners. That being said, Conley didn't see much court time, and his role down the stretch lacks clarity at the moment. Ricky Rubio (22 points, 11 dimes, seven steals) got the last laugh over Conley and the Jazz in the revenge game.
Feb 23, 2020
Approaches triple-double in return
Conley played 34 minutes and finished with 13 points (5-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and seven assists Saturday in the Jazz's 120-110 loss to the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Conley was making his first appearance since Feb. 9 after he rested in the Jazz's final game of the first half and then missed Wednesday's win over the Heat with an illness before sitting out the front end of the back-to-back set Friday against the Spurs for rest purposes. The Jazz will likely continue to hold Conley out for one half of back-to-back sets over the final two months of the season, but he should otherwise be in store for a 30-plus-minute role on the occasions he plays.
Feb 22, 2020
Back in action Saturday
Conley (rest) is starting Saturday's game against the Rockets, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The veteran point guard sat out the front end of the back-to-back set Friday versus the Spurs, but he'll be back on the court to take on the Rockets. Conley is averaging 13.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 27.9 minutes this season.
Feb 20, 2020
Won't play Friday
Conley (rest) will not play Friday against the Spurs, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will sit out for the first half of Utah's back-to-back set as the Jazz continue to manage his workload. Per Jones, Conley will likely return to action Saturday against the Rockets.
Feb 12, 2020
Out again Wednesday
Conley (illness) won't play Wednesday against Miami, Tony Parks of 1280 The Zone reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley will reportedly miss a second straight game to recover from an illness. The veteran guard should be well rested and likely ready to go when the Jazz take on the Spurs on Feb. 21.
Feb 11, 2020
Questionable Wednesday
Conley is considered questionable for Wednesday's matchup with the Heat due to an illness.
ANALYSIS
Conley missed Monday's game against the Mavericks for rest purposes, as it was the second night of a back-to-back set. He is now in danger of missing his second straight. More clarity on his status should come closer to tip-off.
Feb 10, 2020
Sitting out Monday
Conley will be rested for Monday's game against the Mavericks, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Jazz come in on the second night of a back-to-back, and they'll give Conley the night off in an effort to stave off any injury concerns after he missed extended time earlier this season. Conley had started the previous four contests, and he's coming off of a 20-point, five-rebound, six-assist effort in Sunday's win over the Rockets.
Feb 9, 2020
Strong showing
Conley posted 20 points (8-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six assists and five rebounds in 34 minutes during Utah's 114-113 win over the Rockets on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Conley returned to the Jazz in mid-January, proceeding to average 8.8 points without exceeding 25 minutes in an outing. The beginning of February has turned a new leaf for Conley, who has played at least 30 minutes in all four contests and is generating over 20 points per game. Utah still turns to Royce O'Neal in crunch time, but that could change as Conley continues ramping up.
Feb 8, 2020
Continues resurgence with 18 points
Conley logged 18 points (6-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four assists, three rebounds and two steals across 31 minutes in Friday's 117-114 win over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Conley's past three games finally reflect the kind of production they expected from the veteran guard after a multi-team trade that sent Ricky Rubio to Phoenix. Conley suffered through a series of injuries and sub-par play that likely resulted in a severe case of buyer's remorse for the Jazz. His recent three=game averages of 20.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.3 assists are great news for Utah, and they also put him back on the radar in all fantasy formats.
Feb 6, 2020
Scores team-high 21 points
Conley had 21 points (6-13 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 4-6 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and one steal in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 98-95 loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Conley remained in the starting lineup Wednesday, pacing the Jazz with a team-high 21 points. He has looked much better over the past few games and appears to be getting back to the player we had expected him to be heading into the season. Despite a few inconsistencies and the obvious chance of regression, Conley should be rostered in all 12-team leagues.
Feb 1, 2020
Will start Saturday
Conley will return to the starting lineup Saturday against the Trail Blazers, Tim MacMahon of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley hasn't started a game since Dec. 17, and he's been coming off the bench since his Jan. 18 return from a hamstring injury. Since returning, he's averaged 8.8 points, 2.0 assists and 1.7 rebounds in 19.3 minutes. Royce O'Neale will head to the bench.
Jan 30, 2020
Ruled out Thursday
Conley (rest) will not play Thursday against the Nuggets, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley has yet to play back-to-back days since returning from a hamstring injury earlier in the month, and that trend will continue Thursday in Denver as he rests after playing 21 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Spurs. Jordan Clarkson and Joe Ingles should benefit from increased run in Conley's absence.
Jan 25, 2020
Very quiet in 19 minutes of bench
Conley had six points (3-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist in 19 minutes during Saturday's victory over the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
It hasn't exactly been a picture perfect scenario for Conley in Utah. After missing 19 games already this season, it's been difficult for the 32-year old to establish on-court chemistry with his new team. Conley's fantasy value on the season has been pretty ugly, but, assuming he can remain healthy and build rapport with his teammates, Conley's arrow could begin to point upward. However, sitting outside of the top 200, it would take a significant leap to salvage his fantasy season.
Jan 20, 2020
Remaining in bench role
Conley will come off the bench Monday against Indiana, Ryan McDonald of the Deseret News reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley came off the bench in his first game back Saturday against the Kings, and he'll remain in that role Monday evening. Donovan Mitchell and Joe Ingles will remain the starters in the backcourt while Conley eases back into action.
Jan 19, 2020
Plays 15 minutes in return
Conley had just three points, three assists, two steals and one rebound in 15 minutes during Saturday's 123-101 victory over the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Conley returned after missing the last month with a hamstring injury. He came off the bench, playing just 15 minutes and appears likely to be eased back in very slowly. He should eventually replace either Joe Ingles or Royce O'Neale in the starting lineup, a move that will impact their respective fantasy values. Conley is not going to be putting up numbers anything like what he was doing in Memphis but nonetheless, remains a must-roster player in 12-team leagues.
Jan 18, 2020
Expected to come off bench Saturday
Conley (hamstring) is expected to come off the bench and be on a minutes restriction for Saturday's game against the Kings, Shams Charania of Stadium reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley has been sidelined since Dec. 19 due to a strained left hamstring. The Jazz will opt to ease him back into action by keeping his workload down and bringing him off the bench in his first game back. He'll presumably re-join the starting five soon, but Utah has been playing extremely well in his absence.
Jan 17, 2020
Likely to return Saturday
Conley (hamstring) is probable for Saturday's contest against the Kings, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley has been sidelined since Dec. 19 due to a strained left hamstring. He's expected to make his return Saturday, though it's not clear if he would immediately return to the starting lineup and/or have a minutes limit. More information may arrive following morning shootaround or pregame activities.
Jan 16, 2020
Won't return Thursday
Conley (hamstring) is listed as out for Thursday's game against the Pelicans, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Conley hasn't taken the court since Dec. 17, when he aggravated a left hamstring injury in his return from a five-game absence. While the Jazz have yet to provide an updated timetable for his return, Conley is trending in the right direction as he went through a physical workout with the training staff following Thursday's shootaround. Look for Donovan Mitchell to continue handling the majority of point guard duties for the Jazz while Conley remains sidelined.
Jan 16, 2020
Goes through 'physical' workout
Conley (hamstring), who is out Thursday against the Pelicans, went through a "physical" workout following morning shootaround, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It appears Conley may be on the verge of a return. He's been sidelined since Dec. 19 due to a strained hamstring. The Jazz have been on fire in his absence, and it's unclear how the organization will choose to work him back in.
Jan 12, 2020
Sidelined Sunday
Conley (hamstring) remains out for Sunday's game against the Wizards.
ANALYSIS
The Jazz haven't provided an update on Conley since he aggravated a left hamstring injury Dec. 17 in his return from a five-game absence. With no word that Conley has even resumed on-court activity, it's probably safe to assume that he'll miss at least a few more games on account of the injury. Look for Donovan Mitchell to continue handling most of the duties at point guard while Conley is out, though Mitchell will be unavailable Sunday while recovering from an illness.
