Unproductive again in loss
Hayes-Davis logged zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and one rebound over 12 minutes during Wednesday's 138-89 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Hayes-Davis failed to score yet again Wednesday, having now scored a total of just 26 points in 18 appearances. At this stage, he is not an every-night part of the rotation, making him a non-factor in all redraft formats.

Non-existent in loss Saturday
Hayes-Davis registered zero points (0-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and two rebounds in 13 minutes during Saturday's 130-112 loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Hayes-Davis played at least 10 minutes for the second straight game, although he failed to do anything of note. He has now gone scoreless in nine of his 15 appearances, averaging 1.3 points in 8.3 minutes per game during that span. Clearly, he should not be on anyone's fantasy radar.

Sees 14 minutes in loss
Hayes-Davis ended Wednesday's 114-113 loss to the Grizzlies with four points (2-2 FG), two assists and one steal over 14 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Dillon Brooks (groin) is still sidelined, and that's opened up some minutes at forward. Hayes-Davis has appeared in all five games to open the season, but his role leaves a lot to be desired with an average of 12.6 minutes per night and with a sage rate of 10.3 percent.

Not starting Wednesday
Hayes-Davis will come off the bench Wednesday against the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Hayes-Davis started in Phoenix's preseason finale with a lot of the key guys resting, but he'll head back to the bench for Wednesday's season opener. He'll be battling Royce O'Neale for the reserve minutes behind Ryan Dunn, which isn't ideal for fantasy hoops.

Fares well as starter
Hayes-Davis produced 10 points (4-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt), six rebounds and one assist across 27 minutes of Tuesday's 113-104 preseason win over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Hayes-Davis drew the start at power forward with the Suns resting the bulk of their rotation Tuesday. Hayes-Davis agreed to a fully guaranteed one-year contract on the opening day of free agency after a successful stint overseas. He's likely to compete with Oso Ighodaro for some backup power forward minutes this season.

Starting vs. LAL
Hayes-Davis will start in Tuesday's preseason game against the Lakers, Daniel Starkand of LakersNation.com reports.
ANALYSIS
With the Suns resting most of their regulars, Hayes-Davis will enter the starting lineup. The 30-year-old signed a one-year deal with the team and is expected to provide frontcourt depth behind Ryan Dunn, Royce O'Neale and Dillon Brooks.

Logs 15 minutes off the bench
Hayes-Davis saw 15 minutes off the bench during Sunday's preseason loss to Brooklyn and finished with two points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one assist and one steal to his credit.
ANALYSIS
Hayes-Davis will help backup the forward spots in Phoenix this upcoming season, but while the team is at full strength, it'll be tough for him to find enough minutes to make an impact in most leagues.

Returning stateside with Phoenix
Hayes-Davis agreed to a fully guaranteed one-year contract with the Suns, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Hayes-Davis had a decorated career in Europe and starred for Fenerbahce in the 2024-25 Euroleague season, winning the title and being named the Finals MVP. He last played in the NBA during the 2017-18 season after making nine appearances off the bench for the Lakers, Kings and Raptors, but he should find an easy path toward regular playing time with the Suns this upcoming campaign. Hayes-Davis averaged 16.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in the 2024-25 Euroleague season between the regular season and the playoffs.
