Logs career high in win
Spencer supplied 19 points (7-12 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven assists, four rebounds and one steal across 29 minutes during Saturday's 99-94 win over Cleveland.
ANALYSIS
With Golden State missing several key players, Spencer got the starting nod for the first time in his career and made the most of his opportunity. The two-way player delivered an efficient performance en route to a team- and career-high 19 points. He also dished out a game-high seven assists. The 29-year-old has scored in double figures in three consecutive contests, averaging 17.3 points, 5.7 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 24.7 minutes per game during that span.

Starting against Cleveland
Spencer will start against the Cavaliers on Saturday, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The Warriors are without several key players Saturday and are in need of a spark. Spencer has been terrific lately, and he produced 16 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal over 24 minutes during Thursday's 99-98 loss to the 76ers.

Remains involved in Philly
Spencer ended with 16 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one steal over 24 minutes during Thursday's 99-98 loss to the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Spencer played a big role off the bench for a second straight game, taking full advantage of his chances on the offensive end. He's put up double figures in back-to-back games for the first time this season, and with Stephen Curry (quad) expected to miss at least two more matchups, Spencer should remain involved in Golden State's rotation.

Puts on a show
Spencer amassed 17 points (8-14 FG, 1-1 3Pt), three rebounds, six assists and one steal across 21 minutes during Tuesday's 124-112 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
The final box score for Pat Spencer isn't amazing, but it was a sight to see him go toe-to-toe with Oklahoma City. Playing without Stephen Curry (quadriceps) and Jimmy Butler who didn't return for the second half due to knee soreness, it was Spencer who sank big shots down the stretch to help his team erase a 22-point deficit. It's hard to tell if coach Steve Kerr will elevate Spencer in the rotation going forward, but he certainly made a statement with his 17-point, six-assist performance Tuesday night.

Nearly triple-doubles in loss
Spencer totaled 11 points (5-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt), eight rebounds, 13 assists and two steals in 32 minutes during Wednesday's 110-96 loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
This game was the perfect storm for Spencer to produce one of the best lines of his career -- the Warriors were missing Stephen Curry (ankle), Jimmy Butler (back), Draymond Green (illness), Buddy Hield (illness) and Al Horford (rest), all of whom are day-to-day. Fantasy managers won't want to overreact to this line because of that reason, but they can file this away for the next time the Warriors sit multiple studs.

Fares well in blowout
Spencer supplied 12 points (3-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal in 12 minutes during Tuesday's 126-102 loss to the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Spencer isn't always a consistent part of the rotation for Golden State, but he stepped up in garbage time for a season-high 12 points. He's safe to ignore in most formats until he strings a few more games like these together.
Nov 5, 2025
Could see more time against Kings
Spencer chipped in seven points (2-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, four assists and two steals over 11 minutes during Tuesday's 118-107 victory over Phoenix.
ANALYSIS
Stephen Curry (illness) and Jimmy Butler (back) are unlikely to play against the Kings, and coach Steve Kerr gave Spencer some time ont he floor in anticipation of a larger role against the Kings. Over three seasons with the Warriors, the perennial backup's impact has been negligible.
Oct 18, 2025
All around outing in loss
Spencer put up nine points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six assists, five rebounds and a steal across 20 minutes in Friday's 106-103 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Spencer, in all likelihood, won't crack the Warriors' rotation to begin the regular season, and will probably spend time with the team's G-League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors. However, with injuries to De'Anthony Melton (knee) and Moses Moody (calf), there is a chance Spencer may be able to play if more injuries occur.
Jun 29, 2025
Will be unrestricted free agent
The Warriors did not extend a qualifying offer for Spencer, Danny Emerman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
ANALYSIS
That will make Spencer an unrestricted free agent, which will allow him to explore his options and sign with a team in need of guard depth. After playing in just six regular-season games in 2023-24, Spencer had more of a run with the Warriors during the 2024-25 campaign. He played in 39 regular-season games last year, averaging 2.5 points, 1.2 assists and 1.2 rebounds over 6.4 minutes per contest.

Recalled to NBA
Spencer produced 25 points (7-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 7-7 FT), seven assists, five rebounds and two steals across 33 minutes of Sunday's 118-107 G League loss to the Mexico City Capitanes. After the game, Spencer was recalled to Golden State.
ANALYSIS
It's not a surprise to see Spencer dominate at the G League level, but minutes have been hard to come by in the NBA. In his last four appearances for Golden State, Spencer logged a total of 13 minutes.

Gets standard deal with Warriors
Golden State converted Spencer's two-way contract to a standard deal Tuesday, NBA reporter Jake Fischer reports.
ANALYSIS
Spencer's playing time with the Warriors had been inconsistent for most of the season. However, he has appeared in 10 of the Warriors' last 12 games and has averaged 3.4 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists over 7.3 minutes per game over that span. Spencer would be in line to see a bump in playing time should anything happen to Stephen Curry (ankle), Brandin Podziemski or Buddy Hield.

Sees increased run in win
Spencer contributed six points (2-7 FG, 2-2 FT), one rebound, one assist, one block and one steal in 13 minutes during Thursday's 105-98 victory over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
After logging just five total minutes in Golden State's previous three outings, Spencer was a key bench contributor in Thursday's win. Spencer is averaging 4.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 9.1 minutes across his last 10 appearances.

Leads Dubs in scoring Friday
Spencer logged a career-high 17 points (7-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and one assist over 20 minutes off the bench during Friday's 108-96 loss to Indiana.
ANALYSIS
The Warriors' lineup was missing all its big names, but Spencer did his best to fill the void and tied Buddy Hield for the team scoring lead on the night. The 20 minutes were also a career high, and the 28-year-old guard could continue to see an elevated role if Stephen Curry (knee), Brandin Podziemski (abdomen) and Gary Payton (calf) all remain sidelined for Monday's game in Toronto.

Posts full stat line
Spencer logged 13 points (5-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and four steals across 27 minutes of Wednesday's 96-85 win over the Cavaliers in Summer League.
ANALYSIS
Spencer tied for the team high in assists Wednesday while only committing one turnover. He was active defensively, logging four steals. The 28-year-old will be on a two-way contract this season for Golden State but will likely spend most of his time with the team's G League affiliate.

Still looking for shot
Spencer notched 15 points (3-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 22 minutes of Sunday's 127-104 loss to Mexico City.
ANALYSIS
Spencer has been pretty cold since signing his two-way contract with Golden State. Over his last four appearances, Spencer has shot a combined 5-of-25 from three-point range.

Gets two-way deal from Golden State
Spencer agreed Wednesday with the Warriors on a two-way contract, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
He'll join Jerome Robinson and Usman Garuba as two-way players for Golden State, stepping in as a replacement for Lester Quinones, who was upgraded to a standard NBA contract. Spencer, 27, has been a member of the Warriors' G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, for both of the past two seasons. The combo guard is averaging 12.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.4 three-pointers and 1.1 steals in 23.2 minutes per game over 27 appearances for Santa Cruz in 2023-24 while shooting 51.2 percent from the field and 42.7 percent from three-point range.
Oct 15, 2022
Waived by Warriors
Spencer has been waived by the Warriors.
ANALYSIS
Spencer spent training camp in Golden State, but was ultimately unable to do enough to earn a spot on their final roster. He is now free to look for a new opportunity.
