Harper (calf) is listed as available for Tuesday's game against the Knicks.

The two-way player had been sidelined for the G League Maine Celtics' previous two games Friday and Sunday due to a right calf injury, but he's back with the parent club and has seemingly since returned to full health. Harper has played just 15 total minutes over three appearances with Boston this season and is unlikely to be included in the rotation Tuesday.

The Celtics signed Harper to a two-way contract Thursday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Harper was previously on an Exhibit 10 contract. He's made a total of three preseason appearances so far, posting averages of 4.3 points and 1.0 assists in 10.6 minutes per contest. He's expected to spend a lot of time with Maine in the G League to open the 2025-26 season.

The Celtics signed Harper to a contract on Saturday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

Harper has played a total of 11 regular-season games in the NBA over the past three seasons, spending time with the Raptors and Pistons. The Rutgers product will have a chance at a fresh start and an opportunity to stay on the NBA level on his new squad, which will be going through a transition year following the injury suffered by superstar Jayson Tatum (Achilles) and the departures of Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday. Harper played well during his time with the Motor City Cruise in the G League during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 18.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.0 steals per game, shooting 44 percent from the field and 39 percent from beyond the arc.

The Pistons waived Harper on Thursday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

After playing in only one regular-season game for Detroit during the 2024-25 campaign, Harper is officially a free agent. The Rutgers product will be looking for a fresh start in the NBA. He's played a total of 11 games throughout three seasons, averaging 2.2 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.

Harper (illness) is not seen on Detroit's injury report for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.

The two-way player didn't play in Saturday's G League win over the Windy City Bulls due to an illness, but he appears to be healthy ahead of Wednesday's action. Harper hasn't made an appearance with the Pistons yet this year, so his presence won't have a noticeable impact on the rotation against Oklahoma City.
