Holland finished Monday's 99-98 win over the Hawks with 17 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds and two steals in 17 minutes.

Holland scored a season-high 17 points, helping the Pistons to an important victory. While this was an encouraging performance, there is no reason to view this as anything more than an outlier. In his previous 13 games, Holland has scored double digits just once, while tallying no more than five points on six separate occasions.

Holland is not in the Pistons' starting lineup against the Hawks on Tuesday.

Holland has started in the Pistons' last five games, but he will come off the bench Tuesday due to the return of Cade Cunningham. During that five-game stretch as a starter, Holland averaged 7.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.0 steals over 28.0 minutes per game.

Holland finished Wednesday's 124-113 victory over Chicago with nine points (4-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist and three steals across 28 minutes.

In a game without Cade Cunningham (hip), Jalen Duren (ankle), Ausar Thompson (ankle), Isaiah Stewart (ankle) and Tobias Harris (ankle) the Pistons were still able to get the win, and Holland played a big role in that happening. Holland has started in the last three games and is averaging 7.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.0 threes in that span.

Holland will start in Sunday's game against the 76ers.

With Tobias Harris (ankle) and Isaiah Stewart (ankle) both sidelined, Holland will get the starting nod for the first time this season. Over his last five outings, the 20-year-old forward has averaged 8.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.4 steals across 22.8 minutes per contest.

Holland ended Friday's 125-107 win over the Nets with five points (2-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt), five rebounds and one assist over 25 minutes.

Holland failed to produce anything of note in the win, although he did start the second half after Isaiah Stewart was ruled out with an ankle injury. Despite this performance, Holland has been a constant part of the rotation for the Pistons. If Stewart is forced to miss time, look for Holland to step into an even larger role, at least for the short term.

Holland recorded 14 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one turnover in 20 minutes off the bench during Monday's 114-106 win over the Grizzlies.

Holland saw some increased opportunity in this one with Tobias Harris (ankle) watching from the sidelines, and he had the hot hand early, leading the Pistons in scoring through the first half of action. This was a solid bounce-back performance for Holland, who was held to just two points on 1-5 shooting his last time out, so it'll be interesting to see if he can keep it going Wednesday with a favorable matchup against the Jazz.

Holland provided 11 points (4-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, an assist and a steal across 26 minutes in Monday's 116-95 loss to the Cavaliers.

Holland was one of four Pistons to score in double digits, but it appears Detroit came out flat Monday on the second leg of their back-to-back, as Cade Cunningham led all scorers with only 12. In four games to start the season, Holland is averaging 12.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.8 steals, 0.5 blocks and 1.3 threes made on 45.7 percent from the field and 85.6% from the free-throw line.

Holland closed with 19 points (6-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals over 27 minutes during Wednesday's 115-111 loss to the Bulls.

Holland was hyped up by coach J.B. Bickerstaff over the offseason, and the second-year wing backed it up with a strong showing on Opening Night. Holland had a 22.0 percent usage rate Wednesday and was given increased ball-handling responsibilities with the second unit. This was just one game, but Holland is certainly worth monitoring as a waiver-wire add in the absence of Jaden Ivey (knee).

Holland put up four points (2-2 FG, 0-1 FT), four assists, three rebounds and one steal in 22 minutes of Thursday's 119-98 preseason win over the Wizards.

Holland generated a ton of buzz at training camp, and now with Jaden Ivey (knee) set to miss at least four weeks, the second-year wing could get an expanded opportunity. His fantasy production left a lot to be desired as a rookie with regular-season averages of 6.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.6 steals, so he's more of a watch-list candidate for now. For what it's worth, Duncan Robinson started in Ivey's place Thursday.

Holland will come off the bench during Tuesday's preseason game against the Cavaliers.

Holland was a starter during the team's last preseason matchup against the Bucks on Oct. 9. He'll likely still play significant minutes in the second unit.

Holland has enjoyed a strong Summer League campaign, and the Pistons have opted to give him the day off Thursday. The 2024 first-rounder is aiming to carve out a more prominent role off Detroit's bench ahead of 2025-26, averaging 21.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 2.3 three-pointers in 29.6 minutes per game this summer.

Holland finished with 22 points (6-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 9-10 FT), six rebounds, six steals and two assists across 33 minutes in Tuesday's 89-73 Summer League loss to the Timberwolves.

Holland has now tallied at least 15 points in all three of his Summer League outings, including a 22-point showing Tuesday that was fueled by strong free-throw shooting. The No. 5 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft averaged 6.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 assist on 47.4 percent shooting in 15.6 minutes per game across 81 regular-season appearances (two starts) last season.

Holland generated 28 points (8-12 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 8-13 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, three steals and one block across 28 minutes of Friday's 104-86 win over New York.

Holland played in 81 regular-season games for the Pistons as a rookie and appeared in all three of Detroit's playoff contests, so it's no surprise to see Holland dominating Summer League ahead of his sophomore campaign. The No. 5 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft is expected to play another key role off the bench in 2025-26, so don't be surprised if the Pistons shut him down before the end of Summer League.

Holland is in Detroit's starting lineup against Milwaukee on Sunday.

Holland will make his first start since Nov. 13 and should see extended action in Sunday's regular-season finale. He has averaged 4.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists over 14.6 minutes per game over his last five outings.

Holland will return from a one-game absence after being one of five players who were suspended following Sunday's loss to the Timberwolves. Entering Sunday's contest, the rookie first-round pick had averaged 12.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists across 19.4 minutes per game over his last five outings.

Holland got into a verbal altercation with Naz Reid during Sunday's game versus the Timberwolves and it elevated into a physical altercation with Donte DiVincenzo. Holland will miss Wednesday's game against the Thunder but should be back Friday against the Raptors.

It remains to be seen whether a suspension will fall upon the 19-year-old rookie for his involvement.

Holland totaled 26 points (10-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-11 FT), five rebounds, six assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Sunday's 136-130 victory over the Pelicans.

Holland dominated off the Detroit bench in Sunday's high-scoring battle, leading all bench players in scoring and rebounds while handing out a team-high assist total in a well-rounded showcase. Holland tied a season high in scoring while setting a new season high in assists.

Holland finished with 10 points (3-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), three assists, two rebounds, two steals and one block in 20 minutes during Monday's 127-81 win over New Orleans.

Holland contributed double-digit points for the 11th time over 69 regular-season appearances, providing an efficient spark off the bench Monday. The 19-year-old logged at least 20 minutes of playing time for the first time in March during the blowout win, and entering Monday, he had averaged 13.3 minutes per game over eight outings this month.

Holland provided eight points (2-2 FG, 4-6 FT), one rebound and two assists across 18 minutes during Monday's 134-106 win over the Jazz.

Although the Pistons were without Isaiah Stewart (back) and Tobias Harris (personal), Holland did not see a big uptick in minutes even though the game was a blowout. Over his last 10 appearances, Holland has averaged 16.8 minutes per contest with 6.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.8 steals.

Holland ended with seven points (2-3 FG, 3-5 FT), two rebounds and one steal over 13 minutes in Monday's 106-97 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Holland pitched in off the bench Monday with Simone Fontecchio (finger) inactive, contributing nicely off on the Pistons second unit while finishing second among bench players in scoring despite playing in a team-low minute total. Holland has tallied seven or more points off the bench in four of his last 10 outings.

Holland totaled zero points (0-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and one assist over 13 minutes during Wednesday's 128-110 victory over the Bulls.

Holland failed to score for just the third time this season, failing to reach double-digits for the 10th straight game. Although he is a regular part of the rotation, Holland has been unable to carve out a sizeable role for a Detroit team that finally has direction. They currently occupy the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference, having been one of the more surprising teams to this point.

Holland scored double-digits for just the second time in the past 13 games, continuing to play a consistent yet underwhelming role off the bench. Despite the loss, the Pistons have positioned themselves very well when compared to previous seasons, meaning playing time is not as easy to come by for someone like Holland. Assuming Detroit can stay competitive, it's hard to see the rookie stepping into a sizeable role any time soon.

Holland totaled 11 points (3-9 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and one assist in 20 minutes during Thursday's 107-104 loss to Golden State.

Holland didn't have his best shooting performance, but there's no doubt the rookie made his presence felt off the bench with his first double-digit scoring effort since Dec. 28. Holland has shown he can catch fire from time to time, but his inconsistent scoring numbers and limited role off the bench limit his upside across all formats.

Holland (illness) is available for Thursday's game against the Kings.

Holland was expected to be a game-time call Thursday, but the rookie will suit up and be an option off the bench. Holland has appeared in 30 games for Detroit this season, averaging 6.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game.

Holland is questionable for Thursday's game against the Kings due to an illness.

After exploding for a career-high 26 points in 21 minutes during a loss to the Celtics on Dec. 12, Holland has totaled only 26 points over his last four appearances. However, he's played double-digit minutes in 14 straight games, averaging 16.6 minutes a night.

Holland was ejected from Thursday's game against the Jazz after nearly engaging in a physical altercation with Jordan Clarkson, Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Holland and Clarkson nearly traded blows in the third quarter, and the referee decided to eject both players to prevent the situation from escalating further. Holland finished the game with four points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and three rebounds across 13 rebounds off the bench.

Holland ended with 26 points (11-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and three rebounds in 21 minutes during Thursday's 123-99 loss to Boston.

It would appear to be a breakout performance on the surface from the 2024 No. 5 overall pick, who went off for a career-high 26 points in just 21 minutes off the bench. However, it needs to be noted that 20 of Holland's points came during garbage time in the fourth quarter of Thursday's rout mostly against Boston's second-string players. Even so, it's a promising sign going forward for Holland, and one that should at least put him on the watchlists of most fantasy managers moving ahead. It still remains to be seen if the 19-year-old's performance will earn him more minutes out of head coach J.B. Bickerstaff's rotation in the future, so a wait-and-see approach is recommended before immediately adding Holland from waiver wires.

Holland contributed four points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and one rebound across 11 minutes during Monday's 102-100 win over Toronto.

Now that Ausar Thompson is back in the picture, minutes will be much tougher to come by for Holland. He was already a dicey fantasy option prior to Thompson's return, and he's now averaging just 5.5 points and 3.0 rebounds in 15.2 minutes per game this campaign.

Holland is not starting Friday's game against the Raptors, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Holland will return to the bench for this contest since Jaden Ivey (toe) is back in the starting unit. The rookie has averaged 5.6 points and 2.7 rebounds per game when coming off the bench this season.

Holland made his first career Wednesday and scored double-digit points for the second time this season. While the rookie guard came into the game shooting 91.7 percent from the free-throw line across his first 12 appearances, he missed two clutch free throws at the end of regulation that allowed the contest to head into overtime.

Holland is in the starting lineup Wednesday versus Milwaukee.

It wasn't all good news, however, as he missed all five of his three-point attempts and is now shooting 1-of-16 from beyond the arc through eight games. The No. 5 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft is still pretty far off the fantasy radar in most formats.

Holland played just 14 minutes off the bench, continuing his underwhelming start to the season. To this point, he has scored a grand total of just 21 points in four games, adding very little in terms of peripheral production. While there is a chance he steps into a larger role later in the season, managers simply can't hold him given his limited contributions. Even in deeper formats, there are likely better options available on waivers.

The No. 5 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Holland offers a lot of long-term upside, but he'll have to compete for minutes with the likes of Tobias Harris, Ausar Thompson and Jalen Duren in the front court. The forward played for the G League Ignite in 2023-24, averaging 19.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.4 steals in 31.9 minutes across 29 appearances.

Holland's calling card is his defense, owning a high motor and exceptional athleticism while showcasing a quality handle that makes him an intriguing prospect at 18 years of age. He was one of the top players coming out of high school but partially fell under the radar with the G League Ignite due to a season-ending thumb injury suffered in January after appearing in just 14 games. The injury is expected to be fully healed in time for Summer League. If Holland can add a reliable three-point shot -- he connected on 24 percent of his attempts in the G League -- he could be a cornerstone player for the Pistons. Holland figures to fill in alongside Ausar Thompson and Jalen Duren in the frontcourt as Detroit shoots for upside at No. 5 overall.
