This is Jeffress' first time coming off the bench this season after making 16 starts to begin the year. Jeffress averages 5.0 points on 30 percent shooting to go with 4.4 rebounds per game.

Jeffress will start Tuesday's game against Wake Forest.

Jeffress has just one previous start under his belt but will make it a second Tuesday for a Panthers team lacking a ton of depth following numerous departures.

Jeffress is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Syracuse.

Jeffress will head back to the bench with the surprise return of Justin Champagnie (knee). The 6-7 freshman has averaged 2.4 points and 3.1 rebounds in 18.6 minutes per game this season and will continue to be one of the first players off the bench after making a spot start in the loss to Syracuse on Jan. 6.

Jeffress will start Wednesday's game against Syracuse.

Jeffress will be making his first career start. Pittsburgh has three players out with COVID-19 issues, so that's why the freshman will be getting a chance to show what he can do against the Orange. Jeffress is averaging 2.4 points and 2.4 rebounds in 17.4 minutes per game.
