The boost in playing time is unlikely to continue for the rookie. Snowronek received extra run because recently acquired wide receiver Odell Beckham didn't have enough preparation time to learn the entire playbook ahead of Monday's action. With a Week 11 bye, Skowronek is likely to revert back to a secondary role and slot in as the fourth receiver on the depth chart. He's probably off the fantasy radar in the majority of settings.

Skowronek also will have to contend for snaps and looks from Matthew Stafford with Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson and newcomer Odell Beckham. As a result, a wait-and-see approach may be the prudent one to take with Skowronek, who averaged 13.4 yards per catch and scored 13 TDs in 45 collegiate games between Northwestern and Notre Dame.

Skowronek was a late addition to the Rams' injury report after the thigh issue prevented him from practicing Saturday. If he's able to show enough improvement leading up to Monday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, Skowronek will not only suit up, but he could pick up his first career NFL start. According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, Skowronek is expected to start in place of Robert Woods (knee), who sustained a season-ending ACL tear in Friday's practice. Even so, Skowronek likely won't handle the 90-plus-percent snap share that Woods typically handled, and the rookie seventh-round pick will more than likely see his role shrink further after Week 10. Newly acquired Odell Beckham is expected to be eased into the mix Monday with a lighter package of snaps, but once he's up to speed with the playbook, he should regularly share the field with Cooper Kupp and Van Jefferson in three-receiver sets.

Additionally, with Tutu Atwell sustaining a shoulder injury Sunday, Skowronek has probably climbed into the fourth spot on the wide receiver depth chart. However, it's likely best to continue taking a wait-and-see approach with Skowronek outside of cavernous dynasty settings.

Skowronek returned four kick-offs for 70 yards during Sunday's 28-19 win over Detroit.

This was the first game the rookie has returned kicks for the Rams, and it will be interesting to see if he keeps the job after fellow rookie Tutu Atwell handled the role the previous two weeks. While probably not fantasy relevant in most settings, it's still a minor development to note.
