Keep up with the latest injuries from the Dolphins vs Steelers game on Monday with our National Football League injury report.Oct 19, 2025
Healthy scratch Week 7
Wilson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Despite Tyreek Hill (knee) being out for the season, Wilson is a healthy scratch for a second straight game. He missed time early in the campaign due to a knee injury, but he's been off the injury report the past two weeks.
Oct 12, 2025
Healthy scratch Week 6
Wilson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was able to fade an injury designation after logging a full practice Friday. However, despite Tyreek Hill (knee) being out for the rest of the season, Wilson will observe Sunday's game in street clothes while Dee Eskridge and Tahj Washington serve as the Dolphins' depth options at wide receiver. Wilson has yet to play a regular-season game in 2025, and his next opportunity to do so is Week 7 against the Browns on Sunday, Oct. 19.
Oct 10, 2025
Ready for Week 6
Wilson (knee) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Chargers, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson upgraded to full practice Friday after beginning the week with consecutive limited sessions, suggesting he's moved past his knee injury in time to face the Chargers on Sunday. The veteran wideout was signed off the Saints' practice squad in late September and has yet to play this season. He'll likely play a reserve role in Miami's wide-receiver corps in Week 6.
Oct 8, 2025
Progressing through knee injury
Wilson (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was signed off the Saints' practice squad to the Dolphins' active roster Sept. 30, but he was unable to make his debut with his new team against the Panthers in Week 5 due to a knee injury. His ability to practice in at least a limited capacity indicates that he is progressing in his recovery, and his participation over the next two days will indicate his chances of playing against the Chargers on Sunday.
Oct 3, 2025
Not playing vs. Carolina
Wilson (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was held out of practice all week due to a knee injury. The 2018 sixth-rounder was signed off New Orleans' practice squad to Miami's active roster Tuesday, but he'll have to wait until Week 6 against the Chargers on Sunday, Oct. 12 to make his Dolphins debut. With Tyreek Hill (knee) out for the rest of the season, the Dolphins' wide-receiver corps will be headlined by Jaylen Waddle, Malik Washington and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine.
Oct 1, 2025
Dealing with injury
Wilson (undisclosed) won't practice this week, Alain Poupart of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was signed by the Dolphins off the Saints' practice squad Tuesday, but it now appears he's dealing with an undisclosed injury. The Boise State product played in 15 games with the Saints in 2024, catching 20 of 27 targets for 211 yards and one touchdown. If Wilson is sidelined for the Week 5 matchup against the Panthers, Miami may add another wide receiver to its active roster to bolster depth with Tyreek Hill (knee) unavailable.
Sep 30, 2025
Heading to Miami
The Dolphins signed Wilson off the Saints' practice squad to the active roster Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The move gives Miami much-needed depth at wide receiver following Tyreek Hill's season-ending knee injury during Monday's win over the Jets. Wilson spent most of September on the Saints' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster in training camp, but he'll get a new opportunity with the Dolphins in a depth role in the passing game behind Jaylen Waddle, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Malik Washington, Dee Eskridge and tight end Darren Waller. Wilson played in 15 regular-season games for the Saints in 2024 and finished with a 20-211-1 line on 27 targets.
Sep 22, 2025
Back with Saints' practice squad
The Saints signed Wilson to the practice squad Monday, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson will return to the Saints' practice squad after initially being cut Thursday. The 2018 sixth-rounder hasn't appeared in a regular-season game this year after appearing in 15 contests for the Saints in 2024, when he posted 20 catches (on 27 targets) for 211 yards and one touchdown. Wilson would be a candidate to be elevated to the active roster if the Saints require depth at wide receiver.
Sep 18, 2025
Cut from practice squad
The Saints released Wilson from the practice squad Thursday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 29-year-old Wilson was apart of New Orleans' final cuts this summer and signed back with the practice squad ahead of Week 1. He's yet to play in a regular-season game this season.
Aug 27, 2025
Lands back with Saints
The Saints signed Wilson to the practice squad Wednesday, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson took a pay cut to remain in New Orleans this offseason, but he still wasn't able to make the initial roster. He'll be a top candidate to be elevated to the active roster if the Saints suffer any injuries at wide receiver.
Aug 24, 2025
Logs two catches Sunday
Wilson caught two of three targets for eight yards during Sunday's 28-19 preseason loss to the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
Wilson appeared in all three preseason contests for the Saints, totaling six receptions (on eight targets) for 53 yards. The 29-year-old had been competing with Mason Tipton, Kevin Austin and Dante Pettis for a spot as one of the top backup wide receivers behind Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed and Brandin Cooks. But he was pushed even further down the depth chart after New Orleans traded a fourth-round and seventh-round pick to acquire Devaughn Vele from the Broncos on Wednesday. Wilson is entering the final season of a two-year contract with New Orleans, and he agreed to reduce his 2025 base salary from $3.4 million to $1.17 million back in March, which should make it fairly easy for the Saints to move on if they choose to keep Tipton and Austin on the final 53-man roster over Wilson.
Mar 19, 2025
Accepts reduced salary
Wilson reworked his contract with the Saints, reducing his 2015 base salary from $3.4 million to $1.17 million, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The new salary is league minimum for a player with Wilson's service time. This improves his chances of earning a roster spot, and the contract is still scheduled to void after the 2025 season. The 29-year-old played 15 regular-season games for the Saints in 2024, catching 20 of 27 targets for 211 yards and one touchdown while mostly serving as the team's third or fourth wide receiver. Wilson's role in 2025, or lack thereof, will partially depend on the health of Chris Olave (head) and Rashid Shaheed (knee).
Jan 13, 2025
Quiet first season in New Orleans
Wilson appeared in 15 regular-season games for the Saints in 2024, totaling 20 catches (on 27 targets) for 211 yards and one touchdown.
ANALYSIS
Wilson saw consistent playing time as the third or fourth wideout for the Saints this season. The 29-year-old joined New Orleans on a two-year, $5.2 million contract in March after spending his previous two seasons in Miami. Wilson was expected to provide some veteran depth behind top wideouts Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee), but he never made much of an impact even though Olave missed the final nine games and Shaheed missed the final 11 games of the season. Wilson logged more than three receptions in just one game, and he ultimately finished with less than 25 receptions for the third season in a row. He'll likely have to compete for a reserve role once again heading into the 2025 season.
Dec 11, 2024
Makes one catch in Week 14
Wilson took the field for 25 of the Saints' 68 snaps on offense and finished with an 18-yard reception on his lone target in Sunday's 14-11 win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Wilson served as New Orleans' No. 3 wideout in Week 14, narrowly edging out Dante Pettis (21 snaps) in playing time. Though the losses of Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee) have opened up more opportunities in the Saints' wideout corps, Wilson hasn't been able to capitalize. Since accruing a season-best 6-57-1 receiving line on seven targets in Week 7 against Denver, Wilson has managed just four catches for 71 yards and no touchdowns on five targets over his subsequent four appearances.
Nov 17, 2024
Back in action Sunday
Wilson (shoulder) is listed as active Sunday against the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Wilson has missed two of the last three games, first due to a hip injury and then a shoulder issue, but after being listed as limited on all three Week 11 practice reports, he'll be back in action Sunday. The Saints currently have three wide receivers -- Chris Olave (concussion), Rashid Shaheed (knee) and Bub Means (ankle) -- on injured reserve, and Mason Tipton is a healthy scratch, so Wilson will be vying with Marquez Valdes-Scantling and the elevated Kevin Austin and Dante Pettis for snaps. In his last three appearances, Wilson has accrued a 10-119-1 line on 13 targets.
Nov 15, 2024
Questionable for Week 11
Wilson (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Cleveland, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was a limited practice participant all week after missing Sunday's 20-17 win over the Falcons. He may have a significant role if he avoids the inactive list before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, as the Saints have arguably the thinnest WR room in the league right now. Their wideouts combined for just six targets in the win last week, with two of those being TD passes to Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
Nov 14, 2024
Stays limited Thursday
Wilson (shoulder) was limited at practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Wilson injured his shoulder Week 9 at Carolina and wasn't able to practice last week en route to inactive status this past Sunday against the Falcons. With back-to-back capped sessions to begin Week 11 prep,, he's put himself in a position to return to action Sunday versus the Browns, but Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not he takes a designation into the weekend.
Nov 13, 2024
Limited Wednesday
Wilson (shoulder) practiced in a limited fashion Wednesday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson wasn't able to mix into any drills last week before he was ruled out for this past Sunday's contest versus the Falcons due to a shoulder injury, so his ability to handle some on-field work to kick off Week 11 prep generally is a positive sign. He'll have two more sessions this week to put himself on a path to returning to action Sunday against the Browns.
Nov 8, 2024
Not playing Sunday
Wilson (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Falcons.
ANALYSIS
In the first contest without Chris Olave (concussion), Wilson won't be available to the Saints offense after being listed as a non-participant during the entirety of Week 10 prep. That leaves Mason Tipton, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Jermaine Jackson as the available wide receivers on the Saints' active roster, while Dante Pettis, Equanimeous St. Brown and Kevin Austin are candidates to be elevated from the practice squad.
Nov 7, 2024
Still not practicing
Wilson (shoulder) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson is one of two Saints wide receivers to be held out of drills so far this week, but Chris Olave seems far more likely to miss time due to the concussion that he sustained this past Sunday in Carolina. Nevertheless, Wilson likely will need to practice in some capacity Friday in order to have a chance to suit up Sunday against the Falcons.
Nov 6, 2024
DNP due to shoulder injury
Wilson (shoulder) didn't practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Wilson missed some time during this past Sunday's loss at Carolina due to a shoulder injury but ultimately was able to finish out the contest on his way to two catches (on three targets) for 34 yards. With a DNP under his belt to begin Week 10 prep, his status will be on to monitor to see if he may be able to help fill in for Chris Olave, who emerged from Week 9 with a concussion following a big hit and may need a stint on injured reserve.
Nov 4, 2024
Deals with injury again Week 9
Wilson reeled in two of three targets for 34 yards during Sunday's 23-22 loss versus Carolina.
ANALYSIS
Wilson briefly exited with a shoulder injury during the second quarter but was able to return before the end of the first half. The 28-year-old ended up playing just under half of the Saints' offensive snaps, and he tied with Mason Tipton for the most targets of any of the team's wideouts. Neither receiver played a significantly role even though WR1 Chris Olave was forced out with a concussion in the first quarter. Instead, running back Alvin Kamara and versatile tight end Taysom Hill led the team in targets with nine and five, respectively. Wilson logged a season-high seven targets when Olave was sidlined for the Week 7 loss to Denver. Wilson should serve as one of the primary wideouts alongside Tipton if Olave ends up missing next Sunday's game versus the Falcons.
Nov 3, 2024
Returns versus Carolina
Wilson (shoulder) returned to Sunday's game against the Panthers, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson exited during the second quarter with a shoulder injury, but he returned at some point in the second half and caught at least one pass in the fourth quarter. The veteran should serve as one of the Saints' primary wideouts alongside Mason Tipton for the remainder of the game.
Nov 3, 2024
Injures shoulder Sunday
Wilson exited Sunday's game at Carolina due to a shoulder injury.
ANALYSIS
Prior to his departure in the second quarter, Wilson hauled in his only target for 18 yards. In a game in which fellow WR Chris Olave (concussion) also left early following a scary hit, the Saints are down to Mason Tipton, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Jermaine Jackson at the position.
Nov 3, 2024
Active in Week 9
Wilson (hip) is active for Sunday's game at Carolina.
ANALYSIS
Wilson's status for Week 9 was thrown into question after he managed two limited sessions due to a hip injury. The Saints are down two wide receivers -- Rashid Shaheed (knee) and Bub Means (ankle) -- on injured reserve, so the receiving corps aside from Chris Olave consists of Mason Tipton, Wilson, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Jermaine Jackson.
Nov 1, 2024
Status in question for Sunday
Wilson (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest at Carolina, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson managed a pair of limited practices to wrap up Week 9 prep after sitting out Wednesday's session due to a hip injury, giving him a chance to be available Week 9. Meanwhile, fellow WR Bub Means (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game. With Rashid Shaheed (knee) out for the season, Wilson would be among the options behind Chris Olave for snaps and targets if he's active along with Mason Tipton, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Jermaine Jackson.
Oct 31, 2024
Limited in return to practice
Wilson (hip) was limited in practice Thursday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
While Wilson bumped up from being a non-participant at Wednesday's session, fellow WR Bub Means continued to sit out due to a high-ankle sprain. Among the duo, Wilson thus appears to be the better bet to be available Sunday at Carolina, but Friday's injury report may provide a sense of his odds to suit up for that contest.
Oct 30, 2024
No practice Wednesday
Wilson (hip) didn't practice Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
The same can be said for fellow WR Bub Means, who emerged from the Saints' Week 8 defeat to the Chargers with a high-ankle sprain. Wilson hasn't practiced since last Wednesday, when he was limited, so he may need to return to the field in at least that capacity to have a chance to return to action Sunday in Carolina. At the moment, Chris Olave, Mason Tipton, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Jermaine Johnson are the healthy options at the position on New Orleans' active roster.
Oct 25, 2024
Not available Sunday
Wilson (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Wilson opened Week 8 prep with a limited practice Wednesday, but after downgrading to no activity Thursday and Friday, the Saints will hold him out Sunday for what will be the receiver's first absence of the season. The 28-year-old had produced a season-best 6-57-1 receiving line on eight targets in the Saints' Week 7 loss to the Broncos, but even if he hadn't suffered the hip injury, Wilson likely would have seen a decreased role Sunday with top wideout Chris Olave (concussion) returning from a one-game absence.
Oct 24, 2024
No practice Thursday
Wilson (hip) didn't practice Thursday.
ANALYSIS
After logging a limited session Wednesday due to a hip injury, Wilson didn't mix into drills at all one day later, which is a somewhat worrisome sign in advance of the weekend. Friday's practice could be telling for his odds to suit up Sunday at the Chargers, but if he ends up being available, he'd help to fill the void left behind by Rashid Shaheed, who is out for the season following meniscus surgery.
Oct 23, 2024
Dealing with hip issue
Wilson was limited at Wednesday's practice due to a hip injury.
ANALYSIS
Wilson is on the heels of his top two snap shares of the campaign, notching eight catches (on 10 targets) for 85 yards and one touchdown between Weeks 6 and 7. With Rashid Shaheed out for the rest of the campaign due to meniscus surgery and Chris Olave in the concussion protocol, Wilson has an opportunity to continue being relevant in the Saints offense, but a health concern now puts a potential wrench in that expectation.
Oct 19, 2024
Catches late TD versus Denver
Wilson hauled in six of seven targets for 57 yards and one touchdown during Thursday's 33-10 loss against the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
Wilson served as the No. 3 wide receiver with top wideouts Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee) both out. With just under 1..5 minutes, the 28-year-old caught a 12-yard touchdown pass from No. 3 quarterback Jake Haener, who took the reins from rookie starter Spencer Rattler late in this blowout loss. Wilson finished with a team-high in receiving yards, but he played fewer offensive snaps (69) than rookie wideouts Bub Means (89) and Mason Tipton (83). Given that most of Wilson's production came late in the game, he should be considered a less valuable fantasy option than either Means or Tipton, and his value should only decrease further once Olave returns. The Saints will have some extra time to rest before facing the Chargers on Sunday, Oct. 27.
Oct 16, 2024
Good to go vs. Denver
Wilson (ankle) was a full participant during Wednesday's walkthrough session and does not carry an injury designation into Thursday's game against the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
Wilson's ankle is unlikely at 100 percent, but he's played through the injury for most of the regular season and will do so Thursday. Top wideouts Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee) have both been ruled out, so Wilson should be on the field for three-wideout sets alongside Mason Tipton and Bub Means.
Oct 15, 2024
Limited in Tuesday's walkthrough
Wilson (ankle) was listed as a limited participant during Tuesday's walkthrough.
ANALYSIS
Wilson has played through an ankle injury through most of the regular season. Barring any setbacks, he should be good to go for Thursday's game against the Broncos. Wilson caught two passes (on three targets) for 28 yards during the Saints' Week 6 loss to the Buccaneers.
Oct 14, 2024
Still nursing ankle injury
Wilson (ankle) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's practice estimation.
ANALYSIS
Wilson played through his ankle issue in the Saints' Week 6 loss to the Buccaneers, catching two of his three targets for 28 yards across 35 offensive snaps. The 28-year-old wideout is expected to continue playing through injury in New Orleans' Week 7 matchup against the Broncos unless he downgrades to a DNP either Tuesday or Wednesday.
Sep 29, 2024
Available versus Atlanta
Wilson (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was initially listed as questionable for Week 4 due to an ankle injury, but he's managed to suit up for Sunday's key divisional matchup. The journeyman wideout logged his first catch of the season versus the Eagles in Week 3, a three yard gain. Wilson will work to make more of an impact behind top wideouts Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed against Atlanta.
Sep 27, 2024
Questionable to face Falcons
Wilson (ankle) didn't practice Friday and is questionable for Sunday's game at Atlanta, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson played through an abdomen injury last week but is now in danger of missing a game due to an ankle issue. He was a full participant Wednesday before downgrading to limited Thursday and absent Friday. Rookies Mason Tipton and Bub Means are the top candidates to fill in as the No. 3 receiver if Wilson ends up inactive this Sunday.
Sep 26, 2024
Nursing ankle injury
Wilson (ankle) was limited during Thursday's practice session.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was able to play in Week 3 against the Eagles after nursing an abdomen injury throughout the week. He was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, but it appears Wilson is now dealing with an ankle issue. Friday's final injury report will provide clarity on his status for Sunday's NFC South showdown against the Falcons.
Sep 20, 2024
Cleared to play Week 3
Wilson (abdomen) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Kat Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was limited in all three of the Saints' practices, but he avoided an injury designation and will have the green light to take the field Sunday. The 28-year-old wide receiver has yet to see a target this season.
Sep 18, 2024
Tagged as limited participant
Wilson (abdomen) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session.
ANALYSIS
Wilson will have two more opportunities this week to increase his practice participation as he works his way through an abdomen injury. The 2018 sixth-round pick hasn't seen a target through the first two games of the regular season.
Sep 16, 2024
Sees fewer snaps Week 2
Wilson accrued zero targets during Sunday's 44-19 win versus the Cowboys.
ANALYSIS
Wilson once again made his biggest impact on special teams. Though he played the fourth-most offensive snaps of any Saints' wideout Sunday, the 28-year-old logged eight of his 20 snaps on special teams. Wilson also momentarily exited to the locker room with an injury, but he returned for the Saints' opening kickoff of the second half, according to Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana. With zero targets through two games, it's unlikely that Wilson will offer any worthwhile fantasy value this season -- barring any injuries to top wideouts Rashid Shaheed and/or Chris Olave.
Sep 9, 2024
Fumbles in Week 1
Wilson posted zero targets during Sunday's 47-10 victory over the Panthers. He also fumbled his lone punt return.
ANALYSIS
Wilson looked more like a core special-teamer than a meaningful offensive corntributor Week 1. The 28-year-old played the third-most offensive snaps of any Saints wideout Sunday, but he didn't get any targets while backups Mason Tipton (one) and Bub Means (one) saw more usage late in the game. Wilson also worked as the backup punt returner behind Rashid Shaheed, though the former fumbled his lone opportunity Week 1 on a 34-yard punt late in the fourth quarter. Wilson's next chance to bounce back will come during next Sunday's road matchup in Dallas.
Aug 25, 2024
Sits for preseason finale
Wilson did not play in Sunday's 30-27 preseason loss to the Titans.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was among an extensive group of Saints players who did not play in the preseason finale, as the team held out the vast majority of its starters and key backups. This also comes one week after the 28-year-old started in New Orleans' second preseason contest. His usage and playing time in these two exhibitions seems to indicate that Wilson has secured a spot as the team's third or fourth wideout ahead of the regular season. With Rashid Shaheed (hamstring) still working his way back from injury, Wilson could even step in to play as the No. 2 wideout alongside Chris Olave in Week 1.
Aug 19, 2024
Starts against 49ers
Wilson started Sunday's preseason game against the 49ers and caught one of two targets for five yards.
ANALYSIS
Wilson and Chris Olave got most of the first-team snaps at wide receiver, with the former filling in for Rashid Shaheed (hamstring). It's a decent indication that Wilson is on track for the third or fourth spot on the depth chart, but he probably won't see a lot of targets even if he's on the field a good amount.
Aug 11, 2024
Quiet outing in preseason start
Wilson caught his lone target for one yard Saturday's 16-14 preseason win over the Cardinals. He also returned to punts for 24 yards.
ANALYSIS
Wilson did not make much of an impression while working in with New Orleans' first-team offense, which was on the field for the first two drives Saturday. The 28-year-old appeared to step in place for absent Rashid Shaheed (hamstring), as he also handled the team's punt-return duties throughout the first quarter. Wilson's role as a pass-catcher may be limited, but his value as a backup punt returner should help him latch onto the Saints' final 53-man roster.
Mar 14, 2024
Headed to New Orleans
Wilson signed a two-year contract with the Saints on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson played the last two seasons in Miami but was something of an afterthought in the offense while playing behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. He could potentially see an increased role with the Saints, who have a returning wide receiver corps of only Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed and A.T. Perry. Wilson will likely fight for playing time throughout training camp, but he has a realistic chance to surpass his previous high of 521 offensive snaps in a season in the upcoming campaign.
Jan 18, 2024
Decisions coming this offseason
Wilson secured three of seven targets for 37 yards during Saturday's season-ending wild-card playoff loss to the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Wilson drew his highest target total of the 2023 campaign during Miami's sole playoff appearance, capping a stretch run in which his involvement on offense grew, despite lacking a notable uptick in production. Across 15 regular-season appearances, the 28-year-old wideout secured 17 of 38 targets for 296 yards and three touchdowns, better marks across the board than his 2022 season (also 15 games played). Wilson has emerged as a serviceable No. 3 option behind the dynamic duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, but due to the contract restructure he signed back in August, as Jonathan Jones of CBSSports.com reports, his deal will now void automatically void this offseason. It's possible, though, that Miami could pursue re-signing Wilson to a team-friendly deal.
Jan 10, 2024
Quiet in loss to Bills
Wilson secured one of three targets for 24 yards during Sunday's 21-14 loss to Buffalo.
ANALYSIS
Wilson failed to make much of his expanded opportunity with Jaylen Waddle (ankle) sidelined versus Buffalo, though he did play a season-high 96 percent of offensive snaps. Pending Waddle's status for Saturday's wild-card matchup at Kansas City, Wilson could again be called upon to step up as the Dolphins' second starting wideout behind Tyreek Hill. Across 15 regular-season appearances Wilson managed a modest bounce-back campaign in Miami, securing 22 of 38 targets for 296 yards and three touchdowns.
Dec 31, 2023
Finds end zone on two catches
Wilson caught two passes for 27 yards and one touchdown on four targets in Sunday's 56-19 loss to the Ravens.
ANALYSIS
It's disappointing that Wilson couldn't draw more targets on a day where Jaylen Waddle (ankle) sat out, especially since the Ravens were without two of their leading corners (Brandon Stephens and Kyle Hamilton). The touchdown salvaged the game somewhat for Wilson, but whenever Waddle is healthy again Wilson should be reduced mostly to a blocker again. With that said, it's not clear whether Waddle might return against Buffalo in Week 18.
Dec 25, 2023
Makes impact in narrow win
Wilson secured three of five targets for 42 yards during Sunday's 22-20 win over Dallas.
ANALYSIS
Wilson tallied his highest yardage total since Week 7 during Sunday's narrow victory, in which Jaylen Waddle (shin) was forced off the field in the third quarter. In the event that Waddle misses any time, Wilson would stand to handle a more significant role behind Tyreek Hill, who recently dealt with an ankle injury of his own. Fantasy managers will want to monitor the situation, but Wilson could become an interesting streaming option in deeper formats Week 17 at Baltimore.
Dec 18, 2023
Does little with three targets
Wilson secured two of three targets for two yards during Sunday's 30-0 win over the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Wilson's lack of production was disappointing considering the presumed opportunity opened up by Tyreek Hill (ankle) missing a game, but unsurprising considering Jaylen Waddle's dominant outing, with eight catches for 142 yards and a score. In all but the deepest of formats, Wilson carries no fantasy value with a Week 16 matchup against the Cowboys coming up.
Dec 12, 2023
Makes two grabs in loss to Titans
Wilson secured two of four targets for 30 yards during Monday's 28-27 loss to the Titans.
ANALYSIS
Wilson saw his highest target total since Week 11 with Tyreek Hill (ankle) having to spend time on the sideline, but he was once again limited to a quiet performance. Unless Hill ends up missing time, Wilson will not find himself on the fantasy radar Week 15 versus the Jets, except in especially deep formats.
Nov 27, 2023
Quiet in win over Jets
Wilson was not targeted during Friday's 34-13 win over the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Wilson's involvement in the passing game dipped, as he played just 39 percent of offensive snaps with Braxton Berrios back in the lineup. With a road matchup against the Commanders coming up Week 13, Wilson's fantasy utility remains as an emergency flex options in deep formats.
Nov 20, 2023
Hauls in three catches
Wilson brought in three of four targets for 23 yards during Sunday's 20-13 win over the Raiders.
ANALYSIS
Wilson and Robbie Chosen split No. 3 receiver reps behind top targets Tyreek HIll and Jaylen Waddle versus Las Vegas. While Wilson had scored in two straight games leading up to Miami's bye, he logged his highest catch total since Week 5 versus the Raiders. It was also just his fourth time this season with at least 20 receiving yards. Wilson stands to handle a similar depth role on the road Friday versus the Jets.
Nov 6, 2023
Scores on only reception
Wilson secured one of five targets for a 31-yard touchdown during Sunday's 21-14 loss to Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
Wilson has now scored in back-to-back weeks, though his efficiency on five targets left something to be desired Week 9. He did have a key illegal shift penalty that wiped out a what would have been along gain by Tyreek Hill, though, so despite his nose for the end zone, it's still not a guarantee Wilson secures the No. 3 WR job for himself. After a bye week, Wilson's next chance to make a good impression will come Nov. 19 versus the Raiders.
Oct 30, 2023
Scores vs. Pats
Wilson secured his only target for a one-yard touchdown during Sunday's 31-17 win over the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
Wilson recorded his first touchdown in a Dolphins uniform Sunday, though he played a season-low 29 percent of offensive snaps. He will look to get more involved versus the Chiefs in Germany in Week 9, but with Chase Claypool now also in the mix as a depth wideout, there aren't many snaps to go around behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
Oct 23, 2023
Secures two of three target
Wilson secured two of three targets for 48 yards during Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
Wilson has been more involved on offense for Miami as of late, and he made one highlight reel downfield catch to give the passing game life late in the second quarter. The rotational wideout nearly came up with another deep ball for what would have been a clutch fourth-down conversion later in the contest, though a missed facemask penalty on James Bradberry prevented that. Wilson also had a trick play drawn up with him as the passer, though he ultimately took a sack rather than throwing downfield. In deeper fantasy formats, savvy managers may want to monitor whether Wilson's involvement continues to grow when the Dolphins take on the Patriots in Week 8.
Oct 9, 2023
Finally involved on offense
Wilson secured all four of his targets for 52 yards during Sunday's 31-16 win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Wilson racked up his best yardage total in a Dolphins uniform Week 5, operating as the primary No. 3 wideout behind top dogs Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Since beginning the 2023 campaign as a healthy scratch in Miami's first two games, Wilson has begun to ramp up his involvement on offense, most recently playing a season-high 54 percent of offensive snaps. He will look to build on his momentum Week 6 against Carolina.
Sep 24, 2023
Suits up Sunday
Wilson is active for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
With Jaylen Waddle (concussion) out and Erik Ezukanma inactive, Wilson will suit up versus Denver, while Tyreek Hill will lead the Dolphins' Week 3 WR corps. Also in the mix for targets Sunday are Braxton Berrios, River Cracraft and Robbie Chosen.
Sep 10, 2023
Healthy scratch Sunday
Wilson (coach's decision) has been ruled inactive for Sunday's contest against the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Wilson agreed to a reworked contract to stick with Miami during the team's final roster cuts, though it appears he'll be passed over for the season opener. In his stead, Erik Ezukanma and River Cracraft will slot in behind starting wideouts Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and Braxton Berrios. Wilson caught 12 passes on 18 targets across 15 games in 2022, so he doesn't figure to make a significant impact unless there are injuries to Miami's starting wide receiver unit this season.
Aug 29, 2023
Agrees to reworked deal
Wilson and the Dolphins agreed Tuesday to a reworked contract that will keep him on the roster, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson's name was brought up in trade speculation all offseason, but by agreeing to a reduced salary he earns a chance to prove himself in Miami after his disappointing 2022 campaign. Per Jonathan Jones of CBSSports.com, Wilson is lowering his base salary to $2 million but will get a $3 million signing bonus and incentives that can boost his total salary up to $7.25 million. The restructure frees up roughly $3 million in cap space for Miami, potentially signaling a forthcoming move by the team as the 4 p.m. EDT deadline for Indianapolis to decide whether Jonathan Taylor (ankle) will begin the season on the PUP list -- or trade him to another team to make that decision -- looms.
Jan 25, 2023
Underwhelms in 2022
Wilson secured 12 of 18 targets for 136 yards without a touchdown across 15 appearances with the Dolphins in 2022. He also had one carry for eight yards.
ANALYSIS
Wilson fell back down to earth after recording a career-best 45-602-6 line with the Cowboys back in 2021, disappointing in the first season of his three-year, $22.8 million contract with the Dolphins. The 26-year-old's salary could make him a potential trade candidate for Miami, as he carries a $7 million base salary for the 2023 campaign. If the Dolphins were to trade Wilson before June 1st, the team would save $6 million with a dead cap of just $2 million.
Jan 15, 2023
Ready to go Sunday
Wilson (hip/groin) is active Sunday against the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Wilson missed Week 18, but he was able to close out the week as a full participant in practice Friday. The veteran receiver should handle the team's punt return work, while also bolstering their depth at receiver against Buffalo.
Jan 13, 2023
Listed as questionable
Wilson (hip/groin) is questionable for Sunday's wild-card matchup against the Bills, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was sidelined for Week 18 due to a hip injury he suffered in Week 17, but he returned to practice Wednesday as a limited participant and logged a full session Friday. So, while he's listed as questionable, it appears the Dolphins' punt returner is trending toward suiting up Sunday against Buffalo.
Jan 11, 2023
Returns to practice Wednesday
Wilson (hip/groin) was limited during Wednesday's practice, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson returned to practice Wednesday, albeit in a limited fashion, for the first time since he suffered the hip injury in Week 17. He'll have two more chances to practice before Miami needs to make a decision on his status for Sunday's wild-card matchup against Buffalo, though it appears he's trending in the right direction to begin prep.
Jan 8, 2023
Won't play Sunday
Wilson (hip) is inactive Sunday against the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Wilson's inability to suit up should not come as a surprise, as he was considered doubtful for Week 18. His absence may lead to chances for Erik Ezukanma at receiver, but his inability to play will have a bigger impact on the team's punt return duties. Both Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle should be candidates to handle those opportunities against the Jets.
Jan 6, 2023
Unlikely to play Sunday
Wilson (hip) is unlikely to play in Week 18 versus the Jets, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Head coach Mike McDaniel said Friday that Wilson will be doubtful to play in the Dolphins' regular season finale Sunday. The wide receiver will nurse his hip injury as Miami takes on New York in a must-win contest for their playoff hopes. In his absence, Tyreek Hill could take over as the team's primary punt returner.
Jan 4, 2023
Dealing with hip injury
Wilson didn't practice Wednesday due to a hip injury, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson played 16 snaps (11 offensive) during the Week 17 loss to New England but didn't record any offensive stats. It's unclear when he suffered the hip injury, but his lack of participation Wednesday is concerning. The reserve wideout will have two more opportunities to practice before the team needs to make a decision on his status for Sunday's matchup against the Jets.
Dec 19, 2022
Makes only catch memorable
Wilson secured one of two targets for 21 yards during Saturday's 32-29 loss to the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Wilson's only grab came in the form of a leaping contested catch midway through the fourth quarter, an impressive play that could potentially earn him more playing time down the stretch. The Dolphins have financial incentive to get Wilson more involved, after handing him a three-year, $22.8 million contract in the offseason, and this is a much-needed glimmer of the playmaking abilities he displayed while going 45-602-6 with the Cowboys in 2021.
Dec 12, 2022
Hauls in both targets
Wilson secured both of his targets for 19 yards during Sunday's 23-17 loss to the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Wilson benefited from increased involvement with River Cracraft (calf) inactive, managing to put up his fifth best yardage total of the season. Still, the depth wideout failed once again to crack 50 percent of offensive snaps, and he hasn't recorded a single game with at least 30 receiving yards on the year. He remains off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 15 contest against Buffalo.
Nov 14, 2022
Held to one catch
Wilson secured his lone target for seven yards during Sunday's 39-17 win over the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was again overshadowed by Trent Sherfield, who turned in a 5-63-1 line versus Cleveland and has clearly established himself as the Dolphins' No. 3 wideout. On the bright side, Wilson's played his highest percentage of offensive snaps (30) since Week 2. Still, the 26-year-old remains definitively off the fantasy radar heading into Miami's bye week.
Nov 7, 2022
More involved in Week 9 win
Wilson secured both of his targets for 23 yards during Sunday's 35-32 win over the Bears.
ANALYSIS
Wilson recorded a catch for the first time since Week 5 while playing 25 percent of offensive snaps Sunday, a sign of growing involvement on offense. Coach Mike McDaniel has alluded to Wilson's role potentially increasing as the season continues, so though he continues to work behind Trent Sherfield for the time being, it could be worth monitoring the 26-year-old in deep fantasy formats.
Oct 31, 2022
Third straight zero-target game
Wilson was not targeted during Sunday's 31-27 win over the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Wilson has only been targeted in three out of seven appearances this season, and he hasn't drawn a single look in the passing game since Week 5. Trent Sherfield looks clearly solidified ahead of Wilson as the No. 3 wideout. Though coach Mike McDaniel said he anticipates Wilson's role growing in the future, he is essentially without fantasy value at the moment.
Oct 26, 2022
Role should grow
Coach Mike McDaniel said Wednesday that Wilson "will continue to become more featured in our offense," David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson hasn't been targeted in back-to-back contests, though McDaniel said that's partially due to the rib injury he dealt with early in the season. McDaniel also said Wilson's lack of involvement is more about the fact that Trent Sherfield has been more effective with his opportunities, per Furones. Sherfield currently has a grip on the No. 3 receiver role, but if Wilson can truly progress in Miami's scheme, he could get more involved and move up the depth chart as the season continues.
Oct 24, 2022
Not targeted again
Wilson was not targeted during Sunday's 16-10 win over the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Wilson has now gone back-to-back games without a target, but more worryingly, he played just six percent of offensive snaps Week 7 while Trent Sherfield handled 56 percent. There's no indication that the 26-year-old could be considered a viable fantasy option heading into a Week 8 matchup against Detroit.
Oct 17, 2022
Held without a catch
Wilson was not targeted during the Dolphins' 24-16 loss to the Vikings on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was silent while Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle drew 15 and 10 targets, respectively, in a game that saw Teddy Bridgewater pass for over 300 yards after replacing Skylar Thompson (thumb) in the second quarter. Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) could return to the starting lineup in Week 7 versus Pittsburgh, but even if Miami's offense gets its rhythm back, Wilson can safely be left out of fantasy lineups until he shows some flashes of the big-game upside he demonstrated in Dallas last season.
Oct 10, 2022
Logs two catches in loss
Wilson secured two of four targets for 20 yards during Sunday's 40-17 loss to the Jets.
ANALYSIS
Wilson's production was middling, as has been usual this season, though it's worth noting that the entire Dolphins' passing game was limited with No. 3 quarterback Skylar Thompson under center for almost all of Sunday's loss. It remains to be seen whether either Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) or Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) will be available to retake the field Week 6, or if Thompson will draw his first career start.
Oct 5, 2022
Logs full practice
Wilson (ribs/toe) practiced fully Wednesday, Alain Poupart of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson (ribs/toe) was inactive for last Thursday's game against the Bengals, but his return to a full practice Wednesday sets the stage for him to rejoin the mix this weekend against the Jets. As long as Jaylen Waddle (groin/DNP on Wednesday) is available for the contest, however, Wilson figures to compete with Trent Sherfield for the Teddy Bridgewater WR looks in Week 5 that don't go in the direction of Waddle or Tyreek Hill.
Sep 29, 2022
Inactive Thursday
Wilson (ribs/toe) is inactive for Thursday's game against the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
With Wilson sitting this one out, Trent Sherfield and River Cracraft are the top candidates to compete for the Week 4 snaps and targets that don't go to Miami's clear-cut top wide receiver options Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
Sep 28, 2022
Deemed questionable for Thursday
Wilson (ribs) is listed as questionable for Thursday's contest against the Bengals, Adam H. Beasley of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was limited at practices throughout the week and has been deemed questionable for Week 4. The wideout suffered a toe injury during the season opener but also picked up a rib injury in Week 2, the latter of which appears to be more significant. While he was able to suit up in Week 3, he played a season-low five snaps and didn't see a single target. Jaylen Waddle (groin) is also questionable, so if one or both of the aforementioned wideouts is sidelined, Trent Sherfield and Erik Ezukanma would be candidates for increased snaps behind Tyreek Hill.
Sep 27, 2022
Remains limited
Wilson (ribs/toe) was a limited participant in practice Tuesday, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson has been dealing with the toe injury since Week 1, then he injured his ribs in Week 2 against the Ravens. Despite being a limited participant in practice last week, Wilson still suited up for Sunday's victory over the Bills. However, he played a season-low five snaps and failed to see a single target. With it being a short week, and the Dolphins playing Thursday against the Bengals, his status is certainly worth monitoring for single-game DFS contests. The inclusion of Jaylen Waddle (groin) on this week's injury report only magnifies the importance of Wilson's status.
Sep 26, 2022
Limited on practice estimate
Wilson (ribs/toe) is listed as limited on Monday's estimated practice report.
ANALYSIS
Wilson suffered a toe injury in the season opener and emerged from Week 2 action with sore ribs, and while he was limited Wednesday through Friday last week, he was able to suit up Sunday against the Bills. That said, he only managed to play five of 43 offensive snaps en route to no stats in the box score. Now, Wilson's status again will need to be monitored ahead of Thursday's game at Cincinnati.
Sep 25, 2022
Suits up Sunday
Wilson (ribs/toe) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Wilson, who approached the game listed as questionable after being limited at practice this past week, will give it a go Sunday and is in line to continue to serve as Miami's No. 3 wide receiver behind clear-cut top options Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. In that context, Wilson's not ensured steady weekly volume with Hill and Waddle on track to continue to log plenty of targets in the team's passing game.
Sep 23, 2022
Questionable after limited practice
Wilson (ribs/toe) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson's questionable designation comes as no surprise after coach Mike McDaniel said earlier Friday that the wide receiver's status would come down to a game-time decision. Friday marked Wilson's third limited practice in as many sessions heading into Sunday's clash between undefeated AFC East opponents.
Sep 23, 2022
Likely game-time decision
Coach Mike McDaniels said Friday a final decision on Wilson (ribs) for Week 3 will take "up until game time," Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson has worn a non-contact jersey at practices this week and will have limitations on his reps during Friday's session. The No. 3 wideout appears to be trending toward a 'questionable' tag for Sunday's game against the Bills, but he has at least a chance to play. Erik Ezukanma and Trent Sherfield could see increased work behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle if Wilson ends up missing time.
Sep 22, 2022
Dons red jersey again Thursday
Wilson (ribs) continued to practice in a red non-contact jersey Thursday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
While it's good that Wilson's able to take the practice field, he will need to be cleared for contact before Sunday to have a realistic chance of suiting up against the Bills. More clarity on the status of Miami's No. 3 wide receiver should emerge once Wilson is given an injury designation Friday.
Sep 21, 2022
Wearing non-contact jersey
Wilson (ribs) is practicing in a red non-contact jersey Wednesday, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson avoided suffering any structural damage to his ribs during Sunday's comeback win over the Ravens, and he appears to be practicing in a limited capacity Wednesday. If Wilson misses any time, rookie fourth-round pick Erik Ezukanma could have an opportunity to make his NFL debut. The No. 3 wideout only has three targets through two games, as Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are established as Tua Tagovailoa's clear top receiving options.
Sep 19, 2022
Day-to-day with sore ribs
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said Wilson is day-to-day with sore ribs after exiting Sunday's 42-38 win over the Ravens, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Fortunately for Wilson, medical imaging cleared him of any structural damage to his ribs, but his availability for the Dolphins' Week 3 contest with the Bills is up in the air for the time being. Prior to departing Sunday's game, Wilson played 21 snaps on offense and couldn't bring in his lone target of the day.
Sep 18, 2022
Remains out Sunday
Wilson (ribs) was downgraded to out for the remainder of Sunday's game against Baltimore, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was quickly ruled out after exiting the Dolphins' game against the Ravens on Sunday, thus limiting him to one target without a reception in Week 2. Since the exact nature and severity of this issue are still unclear, it will be worth monitoring the 26-year-old's status on Wednesday's injury report.
Sep 18, 2022
Injures ribs
Wilson was forced out of Sunday's game against the Ravens with a rib injury, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Prior to his exit from the contest, Wilson did not record a catch on one target. Meanwhile, top wideouts Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill were busy in Week 2, while working as QB Tua Tagovailoa's primary options the passing game.
Sep 18, 2022
In uniform Sunday
Wilson (toe) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Ravens.
ANALYSIS
Though he approached the game listed as questionable, Wilson will give it a go Sunday and is in line to serve as Miami's No. 3 wide receiver behind clear-cut top options Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. In that capacity in Week 1, Wilson logged 28 snaps while catching both of his targets for 20 yards in the Dolphins' 20-9 win over the Patriots.
Sep 16, 2022
Questionable against Ravens
Wilson (toe) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens, David Furones of the Sun Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson logged consecutive limited practices after missing practice Wednesday. If he suits up, Wilson should remain a distant third on Miami's wide receiver depth chart behind speedsters Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
Sep 15, 2022
Logs limited practice
Wilson (toe) was limited at practice Thursday, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
We'll circle back on Wilson's status Friday but he'll presumably need to practice fully in order to approach Sunday's game against the Ravens minus a Week 2 injury designation. If he's available this weekend, Wilson will once again be in line to work as Miami's No. 3 WR behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
Sep 15, 2022
Back at practice
Wilson (toe) participated in practice Thursday, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
It remains to be seen if Wilson will be listed as a limited or full participant, but his return to practice Thursday after missing Wednesday's session bodes well for his chances of playing this weekend against the Ravens. Operating as Miami's No. 3 wide receiver in Week 1, Wilson logged 28 snaps while catching both of his targets for 20 yards in this past Sunday's 20-9 win over the Patriots.
Sep 14, 2022
Doesn't practice Wednesday
Wilson (toe) didn't practice Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson secured both of his targets for 20 yards during Sunday's season opener, but he presumably picked up a toe injury as well. The extent of the issue remains unclear, but if he isn't upgraded to a full participant Thursday or Friday, his status for Week 2 could be in serious jeopardy.
Sep 12, 2022
Makes two grabs in Dolphins debut
Wilson secured both of his targets for 20 yards during Sunday's 20-9 win over the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
Wilson doesn't have tremendous target share upside operating behind both Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, but the skilled separator should have better days ahead in Mike McDaniel's offense. The No. 3 wideout's more productive weeks may be difficult to predict, though, so Wilson is likely only on the fantasy radar in extremely deep leagues or best ball formats.
Aug 28, 2022
One reception in preseason finale
Wilson recorded one reception on one target for 16 yards in Saturday's 48-10 preseason win over Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
Wilson caught his first pass from Tua Tagovailoa in game action, though he tallied four receptions for 45 yards across the team's three exhibition games. After signing in Miami during the offseason, Wilson figures to serve as the team's third receiver behind Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill to begin the regular season.
Mar 14, 2022
Catches on with Miami
Wilson agreed Monday with the Dolphins on a three-year, $22.8 million contract, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson becomes the second Dallas receiver to head elsewhere in the past three days, as the Cowboys previously dealt Amari Cooper to the Browns on Saturday. According to Rapoport, Wilson will get $12.75 million guaranteed in the deal, with the big salary increase he'll be receiving not leaving Dallas with the flexibility to retain both him and Michael Gallup, who re-signed with the team on a five-year, $62.5 million deal. Wilson, who turned in a 45-602-6 receiving line on 61 targets while starting in four of his 16 appearances in 2021, is expected to slot in as the No. 3 receiver on Miami's depth chart behind Jaylen Waddle and DeVante Parker. The Dolphins also have Will Fuller (finger) on the roster, though he's a free agent and isn't expected to return to Miami.
Feb 3, 2022
Takes step forward in 2021
Wilson secured 45 of 61 targets for 602 yards and six touchdowns while rushing twice for 11 yards across 16 appearances in 2021.
ANALYSIS
Wilson struggled to make much of an impact during his first two professional seasons, but he was much more involved in the team's offense with Michael Gallup (knee) out for a significant portion of the season. The 26-year-old's target share was somewhat inconsistent on a week-to-week basis, but he topped 100 yards twice across his final six appearances of the regular season. Whether he's able to maintain his production once Gallup returns to the field in 2022 remains to be seen, but it was encouraging to see him generate more production this year after he recorded just 235 receiving yards across his first two professional seasons.
Jan 8, 2022
Steps up with two scores
Wilson caught five of six targets for 119 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's 51-26 win over the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
Wilson again saw his role expanded in the wake of Michael Gallup's (knee) season-ending injury and excelled with his newfound opportunity. In fact, Wilson's yardage output marked a career high, as he led the Cowboys in the category while tying Amari Cooper for the team's best catch tally. Notably, though, Wilson also found the end zone twice, scoring from 14 yards in the first quarter before hauling in a 24-yarder in the second. As Dallas now turns its attention toward the playoffs, Wilson's late-season emergence represents an encouraging development offensively.
Jan 3, 2022
Scores TD against Cardinals
Wilson caught all six of his targets for 35 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 25-22 loss to the Cardinals. He also caught a two-point conversion.
ANALYSIS
Moving into a more prominent role in the second half after Michael Gallup (knee) left the game, Wilson became a big part of the Cowboys' late comeback attempt, catching a two-yard TD from Dak Prescott early in the fourth quarter and then hauling in a two-point try after Amari Cooper's score inside the final five minutes. With Gallup's injury feared to be serious, Wilson will move back into the No. 3 wideout spot on the depth chart for Week 18 against the Eagles and on into the playoffs.
Dec 27, 2021
Quiet in win
Wilson caught two of three targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 56-14 win over Washington.
ANALYSIS
On a day when the Cowboys offense was dominant, Wilson had a very quiet day. The veteran wideout played on just 36 percent of the team's offensive snaps, limiting his opportunities in the contest. Wilson has been serviceable as the Cowboys' No. 4 receiver, but with CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup all healthy, he'll hold little fantasy value going forward.
Dec 21, 2021
Invisible in Week 15 win
Wilson was not targeted during Sunday's 21-6 win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Wilson only played one offensive snap with CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup all finally on the field together. The No. 4 wideout has proven an ability to step up when called upon, but it appears that he can safely be left off the fantasy radar as long as Dallas' receiver room remains at full strength.
Dec 17, 2021
Removed from COVID-19 list
Wilson was removed from the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday.
ANALYSIS
Wilson should be fine for his usual role as the No. 4 receiver this Sunday against the Giants. He took just nine snaps on offense in last week's win over Washington with Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup finally all at full strength at the same time.
Dec 13, 2021
Tests positive for COVID-19
Dallas placed Wilson on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday after he tested positive for the virus earlier in the day, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson becomes the 20th Cowboys player to land on the list since August, and the fourth receiver to test positive for the virus during that time. Unless Wilson is unvaccinated, he'll still be eligible to play Sunday against the Giants, but he'll first need to be asymptomatic for a 48-hour period and test negative for the virus on two occasions at least 24 hours apart. He most recently split work with Malik Turner as the No. 4 wideout behind CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup in Dallas' Week 14 win over Washington, finishing with two receptions for 18 yards across nine snaps on offense.
Dec 13, 2021
Two catches Sunday
Wilson caught both his targets for 18 yards in Sunday's win over Washington.
ANALYSIS
With the Cowboys' top three wideouts (Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup) all healthy, there weren't many looks left over for Wilson. His fantasy value will remain minimal heading into a Week 15 clash with the Giants.
Dec 10, 2021
Cleared for Week 14
Wilson (ankle) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against Washington, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday but got the all-clear following a full session Friday. He'll be relegated to a depth role on offense with Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup all healthy, but Wilson could be tasked with taking on kick return duties, as usual return man Tony Pollard (foot) is questionable and hasn't practiced at all.
Dec 9, 2021
Remains limited Thursday
Wilson (ankle) was limited at Thursday's practice, Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
ANALYSIS
One week removed from not practicing at all before being ruled out for last Thursday's game at New Orleans due to an ankle issue, Wilson has managed back-to-back capped sessions to kick off Week 14 prep. He seems to be trending in the right direction for a return Sunday at Washington, but it remains to be seen if he'll avoid an injury designation upon the release of Friday's practice report.
Dec 8, 2021
Returns to practice as limited
Wilson (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, David Helman of the Cowboys' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson picked up an ankle injury during Dallas' Thanksgiving Day loss to the Raiders, and the issue kept him out of practice last week and didn't allow him to play last Thursday at New Orleans. As such, his return to practice Wednesday marks his first activity since Week 12 prep. Wilson will have two more chances to be a full participant Thursday and/or Friday before the Cowboys potentially tab him with a designation ahead of Sunday's game at Washington.
Dec 1, 2021
Out this week
Wilson (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's game in New Orleans, Ed Werder of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson had season highs for targets (10) and yards (104) in the Thanksgiving loss to Las Vegas, handling a larger-than-usual role with both CeeDee Lamb (concussion) and Amari Cooper (COVID-19) unavailable. Wilson injured his ankle along the way however, while Lamb is now off the injury report and Cooper is listed as questionable but expected to play. Noah Brown is the likely No. 4 receiver with Wilson out, or else the No. 3 if Cooper doesn't end up playing.
Nov 30, 2021
No activity yet this week
Wilson (ankle) was a non-participant at Tuesday's practice, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
ANALYSIS
In the Cowboys' last two games, Wilson has earned more snaps than a typical week, logging 63 percent Week 11 at Kansas City and 74 percent Week 12 against the Raiders. The increased work was courtesy of Amari Cooper (illness) sitting out both of them due to being on the reserve/COVID-19 list and CeeDee Lamb missing Thanksgiving's contest with a concussion. However, Wilson suffered an ankle injury last last Thursday and has yet to practice this week. With Lamb clear of the protocol for head injuries and practicing in full Monday and Tuesday, Wilson would be the No. 3 wide receiver, at best, Thursday in New Orleans, but his lack of activity is making him highly questionable to even suit up.

Sits out practice with ankle injury
Wilson didn't participate in Monday's practice due to an ankle injury he sustained in the Cowboys' 36-33 overtime loss to the Raiders on Thanksgiving Day, David Helman of the Cowboys' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
While CeeDee Lamb (concussion) and Amari Cooper (reserve/COVID-19 list) sat out the Week 12 contest, Wilson handled his second-largest offensive snap share (74 percent) of the season and established new bests in catches (seven), receiving yards (104) and targets (10) in the loss. Both Lamb and Cooper are expected to make it back for this week's Thursday game in New Orleans, so Wilson's status suddenly looks the murkiest among Dallas receivers. Wilson will likely need to return to practice in some capacity by Wednesday to have a shot at suiting up against the Saints.
Nov 26, 2021
Big day in losing effort
Wilson caught seven of 10 targets for 104 yards in a 36-33 overtime loss to the Raiders on Thanksgiving.
ANALYSIS
With Amari Cooper (COVID-19) and CeeDee Lamb (concussion) both sidelined, Wilson took advantage of the opportunity to lead the Cowboys in catches and targets while falling two yards shy of Michael Gallup for the team lead in receiving yards. The 100-yard performance was only the second of Wilson's career, but he could have a hard time maintaining a big role in the offense in Week 13 against the Saints as Cooper, at least, is expected to rejoin the lineup.
Nov 21, 2021
Four grabs in Sunday's loss
Wilson caught four of seven targets for 36 yards in Sunday's 19-9 loss to Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
With Amari Cooper (COVID-19) unavailable, Wilson moved back up to the No. 3 spot on the Cowboys' depth chart at wide receiver, and his role increased even further after CeeDee Lamb left the game due to a concussion. Unfortunately, a couple drops prevented him from fully taking advantage of his increased looks. With Dallas facing a short week before a Thanksgiving Day clash with the Raiders, Wilson figures to see elevated volume once again.
Nov 19, 2021
Likely to step in as top slot man
Wilson is expected to serve as the Cowboys' top slot receiver Sunday against the Chiefs after Amari Cooper (illness) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson has held down a regular spot in three-receiver sets this season alongside Cooper and CeeDee Lamb, but he was limited to just one snap in last week's blowout win over the Falcons after Michael Gallup (calf) made his return from a seven-game absence. With Cooper now sidelined for both this weekend's game and the Cowboys' Thanksgiving Day contest against the Raiders in Week 12 following his positive test for the virus, Wilson will benefit from a temporary bump in playing time. Lamb and Gallup are still likely to handily outpace Wilson in terms of snaps and targets while serving as the Cowboys' boundary receivers the next two weeks, but Wilson could get enough volume to make himself relevant in deeper leagues. While Gallup was sidelined Weeks 2 through 9, Wilson turned in a 16-256-3 receiving line on 24 targets.
Nov 14, 2021
Active in Week 10
Wilson (shoulder) is listed as active Sunday against the Falcons.
ANALYSIS
In advance of this contest, Wilson's activity was contained to one limited session Friday. With the fourth-year pro available, the Cowboys will have their top four wide receivers together for the first time since Week 1. Michael Gallup missed seven games as a result of a strained left calf, but following his activation from IR on Saturday, he'll join Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb as the team's top trio at the position. As a result, targets could be hard to come by for Wilson, who is set to take a hit in offensive usage.
Nov 12, 2021
Questionable for Week 10
Wilson (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
ANALYSIS
Fellow wide receivers Amari Cooper (LP, hamstring) and CeeDee Lamb (FP, ankle) also were listed on Cowboys injury reports this week, but both have been cleared to play Sunday. The same can't be said for Wilson yet, but he did get back on the practice field Friday in a limited capacity after opening Week 10 prep with back-to-back absences. His status may not be known until 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. kickoff, but even if he's available Wilson is in line to be the No. 4 WR again with team expected to activate Michael Gallup (calf) from injured reserve.
Nov 11, 2021
Misses practice again
Wilson (shoulder) isn't participating in Thursday's practice, Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson's shoulder injury will keep him off the field for the second day in a row and leaves his status for Sunday's game against the Falcons in question heading into Dallas' final practice of the week Friday. Even if Wilson gains clearance to play this weekend, he could be in line for a smaller role within the Dallas receiving corps. Michael Gallup (calf) appears on pace to return from injured reserve this week and end his seven-game absence, and he could immediately displace Wilson as the No. 3 wideout behind Amari Cooper (hamstring) and CeeDee Lamb.
Nov 10, 2021
No practice due to shoulder issue
Wilson (shoulder) didn't practice Wednesday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson's absence coincides with the Cowboys poised to activate Michael Gallup (calf) from injured reserve ahead of a Week 10 matchup with the Falcons. With Gallup sidelined since Week 2, Wilson has served as the team's No. 3 wide receiver behind Amari Cooper (hamstring) and CeeDee Lamb (ankle), hauling in 16 of 24 targets for 256 yards and three touchdowns in seven games. Wilson also had two carries for 11 yards and completed two of two passes for 57 yards during that stretch. Wilson will have two more practices to fit in some work before week's end.
Nov 8, 2021
Does little on five targets
Wilson caught two of five targets for 28 yards in Sunday's loss to the Broncos.
ANALYSIS
The Cowboys' offense was stuck in neutral most of the day, with Wilson's performance being an accurate reflection of the effectiveness of the team's passing game as a whole. The 25-year-old's window for fantasy value may have closed with a whimper if Michael Gallup (calf) is able to return to action and reclaim the No. 3 wideout spot in Week 10 against the Falcons.
Nov 1, 2021
Turns in best performance of season
Wilson caught all three targets for 84 yards and a touchdown, while also completing his lone pass attempt for 35 yards in Sunday's 20-16 win over Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
The Cowboys' aerial attack put on a show against the Vikings despite having backup quarterback Cooper Rush under center. All three of Dallas' top wideouts turned in strong fantasy games, with Wilson posting a new season high in receiving yards. The versatile performance could help his own stock, as Michael Gallup (calf) could return as soon as next week's tilt against the Broncos.
Oct 18, 2021
Four grabs in OT win
Wilson caught four of seven targets for 42 yards in Sunday's overtime win over the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
While offensive coordinator didn't use Wilson on any gadget plays this time around, but the third-year receiver instead set new season highs in catches, targets and receiving yards. With the Cowboys on their bye in Week 7, Michael Gallup (calf) might be ready to come off IR for a Week 8 game in Minnesota, but Wilson should still have some role in the offense even once Gallup is back.
Oct 4, 2021
Scores another TD
Wilson caught both his targets for 30 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
Dak Prescott's four TDs all went to different targets, and Wilson got the last of them late in the third quarter to give the Cowboys a 33-14 lead. The 25-year-old wideout has caught exactly two passes in three straight games while Michael Gallup (calf) has been sidelined, but he's made the most of his chances with touchdowns in consecutive weeks. Assuming Gallup isn't ready to return in Week 5, Wilson will have some appeal as a deep-league dart throw against the Giants.
Sep 28, 2021
Finds end zone Monday
Wilson caught two of four targets for 17 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 41-21 win over the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
The Cowboys put up plenty of points in the rout, but it wasn't the usual suspects getting the scores through the air as tight end Dalton Schultz caught two of Dak Prescott's three TD passes, with Wilson snagging the third. The receiver benefitted from Prescott's ability to create, as on a fourth and goal from Philadelphia's two-yard line in the fourth quarter, the QB bought time and scrambled to his right until Wilson was able to get open at the back of the end zone. The 25-year-old has only seen six targets through two games since Michael Gallup (calf) landed on IR, catching four of them for 37 yards plus Monday's TD, and his snaps and role in the offense haven't actually increased from the Cowboys' opener. That makes Wilson a risky fantasy option in Week 4 against what has been a stingy Panthers defense.
Sep 21, 2021
Two catches Sunday
Wilson caught both his targets for 20 yards in Sunday's win over the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
He also gained five yards on his only carry. Wilson filled in as the No. 3 receiver for the Cowboys in the absence of Michael Gallup (calf) but didn't see much volume on a day when the team focused on getting its ground attack going. There could be more productive days ahead for Wilson, however, especially if Amari Cooper (ribs) is sidelined or limited in Week 3 against the Eagles.
Sep 10, 2021
Replacing Gallup after injury
Wilson should take on a larger role with teammate Michael Gallup (calf) expected to miss three-to-five weeks, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was the Cowboys' No. 4 receiver in Thursday's loss to Tampa Bay, hauling in each of his three targets for 24 yards. He now figures to be a distant No. 3 to Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb, but in an offense that could lead the NFL in pass attempts. Wilson was the team's fourth or fifth receiver for all of last year, catching 17 of 28 targets for 189 yards and two touchdowns (with 107 yards and both TDs in Week 3). The Cowboys could also give Noah Brown and rookie fifth-round pick Simi Fehoko some playing time while Gallup is on the shelf for the next month or so.
Apr 22, 2021
Pens tender with Cowboys
Wilson signed his original-round tender with the Cowboys on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Wilson will stick around with Dallas for a fourth straight season. He stands to provide the Cowboys both with depth in the return game, and on offense behind starters Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup.
Mar 15, 2021
Tendered by Dallas
The Cowboys are placing an original-round tender on Wilson, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson will play under at least a $2.13 million salary next season, and the Cowboys will have the option of matching any offer sheet he receives. The 2018 sixth-round pick emerged as a valuable depth receiver last season, and he flashed big-play ability on occasion (5-107-2 versus Seattle in Week 3). Of course, behind Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup, Wilson's offensive opportunities could be few and far between.
Jan 16, 2021
Productive early in 2020
Wilson caught 17 of 28 targets for 189 yards and two touchdowns while playing in all 16 games for the Cowboys in 2020.
ANALYSIS
The second-year wideout surprisingly emerged as a threat in a deep Dallas receiving corps early in the season, when Dak Prescott (ankle) was on a record-setting pace and the defense was ensuring a shootout almost every week. Wilson's biggest game came in Week 3, when he hauled in 107 yards and two TDs from Prescott, but he returned the favor two weeks later when he tossed an 11-yard touchdown to Prescott on a trick play. Once the Cowboys lost their starting QB for the season, however, Wilson's volume dried up nearly completely, and he saw only eight targets over the final 10 games. Heading into 2021, Prescott is expected to be re-signed and healthy for Week 1, but Wilson will still be behind the formidable trio of Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup on the depth chart, and he might not see the perfect storm of opportunity that briefly boosted his fantasy stock.
Dec 29, 2020
Catchless streak continues
Wilson was not targeted during Sunday's 37-17 win against the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
During a vital Week 16 win, Wilson fielded 12 or more offensive snaps for the fifth time over his past six appearances. The 25-year-old continues to find himself in the midst of a production slump, however, remaining without a reception since Week 11. Wilson's most notable outing this season came when he racked up five catches for 107 yards and two touchdowns Sept. 27 at Seattle. But in his 10 outings since Dak Prescott's season-ending ankle injury, Wilson hasn't exceeded 10 receiving yards.
Dec 22, 2020
No targets once again
Wilson didn't receive a target in Sunday's 41-33 win over the 49ers.
ANALYSIS
Wilson didn't command a target for a fourth straight week. The third-year wide receiver's 5-107-2 performance in Week 3 against the Seahawks seems like ages ago.
Dec 9, 2020
Second straight targetless outing
Wilson didn't receive a target in Tuesday's 34-17 loss to the Ravens.
ANALYSIS
Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton threw the ball 48 times Tuesday but didn't look Wilson's way for a second straight game. Wilson played 20 snaps (25 percent) and has handled a similar workload for most of the year. It'll be tough to get much tread as long as Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb are healthy.
Dec 1, 2020
Goes without target on Thanksgiving
Wilson did not garner a target over 12 offensive snaps during Thursday's 41-16 loss to Washington. His lone rush attempt went for a one-yard loss.
ANALYSIS
Wilson will forever be tied to a dumbfounding coaching decision by Mike McCarthy and the Cowboys special-teams group, as his rush attempt on a fake punt in the fourth quarter failed miserably, turning the tide permanently in Washington's favor. The 25-year-old had posted receptions in consecutive games entering the Thanksgiving matchup, but his offensive contributions have been mostly forgettable since a 107-yard, two-touchdown effort Week 3 against Seattle. Over his past eight outings, Wilson has managed only 11 receptions for 79 yards, adding an 11-yard TD pass to his ledger Week 5 against the Giants.
Nov 24, 2020
Reels in one pass
Wilson caught one of two targets for seven yards in Sunday's 31-28 win over the Vikings.
ANALYSIS
Since the explosive 5-107-2 game back in Week 3, Wilson has averaged just 1.6 receptions and 11.3 receiving yards per game, totaling no touchdowns in that stretch. Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb are expected to continue handling a bulk of the workload on offense.
Nov 10, 2020
Posts one catch in loss to Steelers
Wilson hauled in one of his three targets for six receiving yards during Sunday's 24-19 loss to the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
With a pair of drops over his first 25 targets of 2020, it comes as no great surprise that Wilson's workload has been curtailed in recent weeks. Certainly a season-ending ankle injury to the electrifying Dak Prescott has factored into Wilson's reduced production as well. The 2018 sixth-round draft choice has just one catch on five combined targets over his past three outings, after collecting 173 receiving yards on 20 targets between Weeks 3 and 6.
Nov 3, 2020
Blanked against Eagles
Wilson recorded no receptions on two targets during Sunday night's 23-9 loss to Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
Wilson was heating up over Dak Prescott's final three appearances of the year between Weeks 3 and 5, but a season-ending ankle injury to the star quarterback fizzled out the receiver's production. The Boise State product collected 12 receptions for 163 yards and two touchdowns during that three-week span, but he's gone catch-less over his past two games after recording just two catches for 10 yards in Andy Dalton's starting debut Oct. 19 against the Cardinals.
Oct 27, 2020
No catches in anemic offensive game
Wilson attracted zero targets during Sunday's 25-3 loss to Washington.
ANALYSIS
Wilson's production has been steadily trending downwards since his 107-yard, two-touchdown effort against the Seahawks in Week 3. He had averaged 22 receiving yards Weeks 4 through 6, and Sunday against Washington he was held without a catch for the third time this season. Dallas' offense has been struggling mightily since Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending ankle injury Oct. 11 against the Giants, and things went from bad to worse when Andy Dalton entered concussion protocol during the Week 7 loss. Philadelphia offers a promising Week 8 matchup if Dallas can steady its quarterback situation, as the Eagles have surrendered a 68.4 percent catch rate and seven receiving TDs to opposing wideouts.
Oct 21, 2020
Not on Wednesday's report
Wilson (ribs) isn't listed on Wednesday's first injury report.
ANALYSIS
Wilson has received between 20 and 30 percent of the offensive snaps in each of the last four games, totaling 14 catches (on 20 targets) for 173 yards and two touchdowns. The vast majority of that production (5-107-2 on seven targets) came Week 3 at Seattle, and with the change from Dak Prescott (ankle) to Andy Dalton under center, it may be difficult to project much production from week to week.
Oct 20, 2020
Not much action in loss
Wilson caught two of his three passes for 10 yards in Monday's 38-10 loss to the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
Wilson appeared to injure his ribs after a hard collision on a catch attempt during the third quarter, although it's unclear how serious the injury might be. The receiver only saw 25 of the offensive snaps and it is unsure whether or not he will play in Week 7's game against Washington.
Oct 12, 2020
Tosses TD pass on trick play
Wilson caught all four of his targets for 22 yards and threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Dak Prescott (ankle) in Sunday's win over the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore continue to find creative ways to get his No. 4 wide receiver involved. In this game, Wilson took a pitch from Prescott on an apparent reverse, only to throw the ball back to a wide-open QB for a score. With Prescott now lost for the season, however, and Andy Dalton taking over under center, Wilson's role could change or even disappear if the offense puts more emphasis on the running game.
Oct 5, 2020
Stays active Sunday
Wilson caught three of six targets for 34 yards in Sunday's loss to the Browns.
ANALYSIS
While he predictably didn't come close to matching his two-TD performance from the week before, Wilson still saw a surprising amount of action in another late comeback attempt by Dallas, and he even got more targets than Michael Gallup. Wilson could be less involved in the passing game in Week 5, however, if the Cowboys can avoid digging a big hole against the Giants.
Sep 27, 2020
Career day in Seattle
Wilson caught five of seven targets for 107 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 38-31 loss to the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
The 25-year-old came into the game with only five catches for 46 yards in his career, but Wilson blew those numbers out of the water while scoring his first two TDs in the NFL. Both scores came on similar routes, as Wilson caught slants from Dak Prescott in the second and third quarters and took them to the house, with the receptions going for 40 and 42 yards respectively. Despite the huge performance, he's still the No. 4 man on the depth chart, and Prescott won't attempt more than 50 passes or throw for over 400 yards every week. However, Wilson has at least demonstrated that if injuries ever allow him to move into a more prominent role, he may be able to take advantage.
Aug 27, 2020
Solidifying hold on No. 4 WR spot
Wilson spent extra time working out with Dak Prescott in the offseason and has put together an impressive camp to date, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
A sixth-round pick in 2018, Wilson has good size and athleticism but hasn't yet been consistently healthy enough to make any kind of impact for the Cowboys. Even if he avoids further injuries there aren't likely to be a lot of targets available in an offense that already needs to account for Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, 2020 first-round pick CeeDee Lamb and Ezekiel Elliott, but Wilson at least seems to be locking down the No. 4 spot on the wide receiver depth chart.
Jun 23, 2020
Set for 2020
Wilson (knee) is ready to go for the upcoming season, John Owning of DallasNews.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Wilson's 2019 season ended in December due to a knee injury. The issue was not considered especially serious and surgery was not required. He now appears on track to hit the ground running in 2020. The 24-year-old suited up for just six games prior to going down with the injury and recorded five receptions for 46 yards in the process. While Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and rookie CeeDee Lamb are clearly on top of the Cowboys' receiving pecking order, Wilson is a strong candidate to potentially end up as fourth on the depth chart.
Dec 10, 2019
Heads to IR
Wilson (knee) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Wilson avoided a serious knee injury and won't need surgery, but he'll be shut down for the rest of the year. The second-year pro out of Boise State played in six games this year, hauling in five of eight targets for 46 yards while also contributing as a returner. Wilson will aim to get healthy for the team's offseason program.
