Catches two passes in loss
Dortch caught both of his targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Buccaneers.
ANALYSIS
Although Jacoby Brissett threw the ball 40 times in the Week 13 loss, Dortch saw minimal usage due to the return of Marvin Harrison. The Wake Forest product has now caught 29 of 33 targets for 206 yards and three touchdowns while also taking seven carries for 15 yards and a score through the Cardinals' first 12 games. He's expected to play a small offensive role and operate as Arizona's top return man in the Week 14 matchup against the Rams.
Nov 23, 2025
Nets another TD in Week 12
Dortch recorded six catches (on nine targets) for 53 yards and one touchdown, took two carries for minus-5 yards and returned five kickoffs for 127 yards during Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Jaguars.
ANALYSIS
After a mostly quiet first half of the campaign, Dortch has awakened over the last two games with No. 1 WR Marvin Harrison sidelined due to a bout with appendicitis. While position mate Michael Wilson has benefited most with back-to-back outings with 10-plus catches and 100 or more yards, Dortch has made his mark in the box score with a cumulative 12-119-2 line on 15 targets during that same span. Dortch wasn't doing much before a 39-yard catch-and-run for a TD in the middle of the third quarter, but it marked QB Jacoby Brissett's only scoring strike of Week 12. The Cardinals next take to the road against the Buccaneers next Sunday, and Dortch will continue to have an increased role if Harrison again is unavailable.
Nov 17, 2025
Records six catches, TD in Week 11
Dortch hauled in all six targets for 66 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 41-22 defeat to the 49ers.
ANALYSIS
Dortch's season-high 66 percent snap share was a byproduct of Marvin Harrison sitting out due to an appendectomy, and the former also handled return duties to the tune of 79 yards on three kick returns and 51 yards on a pair of punt returns. Dortch was a distant second to Michael Wilson (15-185-0 on 18 targets, 82 percent share) in all receiving categories but TDs, but he, along with Xavier Weaver (2-15-0 on a 72 percent share), figure to be QB Jacoby Brissett's top options at wide receiver for as long as Harrison is sidelined.
Oct 14, 2025
Finds end zone in loss
Dortch caught all three of his targets for nine yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-27 loss to the Colts.
ANALYSIS
Dortch's trip to the end zone was his first touchdown of the 2025 campaign. The 27-year-old wideout's 44 percent offenisve snap share was his second highest mark of the season, likely due to teammate Marvin Harrison leaving the game early due to a concussion suffered in the second quarter of the contest. Despite scoring his first touchdown of the season and playing more snaps in Week 6, Dortch remains very difficult to trust for fantasy purposes, even if Harrison is sidelined for a Week 7 matchup against the Packers.
Oct 7, 2025
Two catches in defeat
Dortch caught both of his targets for 12 yards in Sunday's loss to the Titans.
ANALYSIS
With Zay Jones back in the lineup after missing Week 4 with a concussion, Dortch played a season-low seven percent of the offensive snaps against Tennessee. On the season, Dortch has reeled in 10 of 11 targets for 59 yards and no touchdowns. He has minimal fantasy appeal outside the deepest of leagues.

Suiting up in Week 5
Dortch (collarbone) is active for Sunday's game versus the Titans, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch operated with a cap on his practice reps during Week 5 prep due to a collarbone injury, but he'll ditch his questionable tag and suit up Sunday. WIth Zay Jones out of the concussion protocol and back in action, Dortch likely will reassume his role as the Cardinals' No. 4 WR behind Marvin Harrison, Michael Wilson and Jones, which amounted to a minimal four catches (on four targets) for 12 yards in the first three contests of the season.
Oct 3, 2025
Questionable for Sunday
Dortch (collarbone) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Titans, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch managed three consecutive limited practices this week due to a collarbone injury, while fellow WR Zay Jones progressed enough to gain clearance from the concussion protocol. Even if Dortch is active Sunday, he'll likely cede the No. 3 role to Jones after he tallied a 4-35-0 line on five targets last Thursday versus the Seahawks in place of the latter.
Oct 2, 2025
Stays limited in practice
Dortch (collarbone) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch maintained his activity level from one day prior as he tends to a collarbone injury. Meanwhile, fellow WR Zay Jones (concussion) practice fully, indicating that he's closing in on gaining clearance from the protocol for head injuries. If Jones does so, Dortch likely would be relegated to the No. 4 role on the depth chart Sunday versus the Titans, assuming he's active himself.

Dealing with collarbone injury
Dortch was limited in practice Wednesday due to a collarbone injury, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
With Zay Jones (concussion) sidelined last Thursday against the Seahawks, Dortch experienced his most usage of the season on offense, turning a 64 percent snap share into four catches (on five targets) for 35 yards. Dortch also had one carry for four yards, three kick returns for 82 yards and one punt return for 15 yards. Now with a health concern of his own, Dortch is among three Cardinals wide receivers -- also, Jones and Simi Fehoko (concussion) -- that's limited to kick off Week 5 prep.
Sep 26, 2025
Uptick in offensive usage
Dortch recorded four catches (on five targets) for 35 yards, one carry for four yards, three kick returns for 82 yards and one punt return for 15 yards during Thursday's 23-20 loss to the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
After earning no more than a 24 percent snap share in any of the Cardinals' first three games of the season, Dortch jumped all the way up to 64 percent Week 4 with Zay Jones (concussion) inactive. Dortch continued to handle most of the return duties, but he also surpassed his total number of targets from the first three games (four) in just one contest. For as long as Jones is sidelined, Dortch appears as if he'll be the team's No. 3 WR behind Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson.
Sep 10, 2025
Contributes mostly on special teams
Dortch hauled in his only target for minus-2 yards, returned three punts for 30 yards, had two kick returns for 44 yards and recorded a tackle on punt coverage during Sunday's 20-13 victory at New Orleans.
ANALYSIS
Dortch was busy on his limited snap count (10 on offense, nine on special teams), but his offensive snap share (15 percent) was a distant fourth among Cardinals wide receivers behind Marvin Harrison (89 percent), Michael Wilson (67 percent) and Zay Jones (47 percent). Most of Dortch's weekly contributions in 2025 are expected to come outside the offense as long as the aforementioned trio are healthy and available.
Apr 18, 2025
Signs RFA tender
Dortch signed his one-year restricted free agent tender offer Friday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch was extended a tender offer by Arizona back in March, and he now officially re-signs with the team on the one-year deal worth $3.3 million. He played all 17 games with the Cardinals last season, securing 37 of 50 targets for 342 yards and three touchdowns. Now heading into his fifth consecutive year with Arizona, Dortch is again positioned for a role on offense behind Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson.
Mar 12, 2025
Gets RFA tender
The Cardinals have extended a tender to Dortch, who is a restricted free agent, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch has become a mainstay in Arizona's passing game the last three campaigns, averaging a 37.7-363-2.3 line on 51.7 targets per year while missing just two regular-season games. The team will have the right of first refusal for any contract offer that he receives, but if he returns to the Cards, he'll continue to operate as the third wide receiver behind Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson (hamstring) in 2025.
Feb 17, 2025
Records three TDs in 2024
Dortch gathered in 37 of 50 targets for 342 yards and three touchdowns, added five carries for 31 yards and returned seven kickoffs for 186 yards and 21 punts for 202 yards in 17 regular-season contests in 2024.
ANALYSIS
Since his mini 52-467-2 breakout on 64 targets in 2022, Dortch has combined for 61-622-5 on 91 targets over the last two campaigns. In particular this past season, he recorded a reception in all but one game, but his receiving yardage total ranked fifth on the Cardinals behind TE Trey McBride, WRs Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson (hamstring) and RB James Conner (knee). If Arizona opts to bolster its receiving corps further this offseason, Dortch, an upcoming restricted free agent, may find himself in an even lesser offensive role in 2025.
Dec 30, 2024
Another three catches in Week 17
Dortch recorded three catches (on three targets) for 18 yards, one kick return for 28 yards and two punt returns for 15 yards during Saturday's 13-9 defeat at the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Aside from a 60-yard outburst Week 15 against the Patriots, Dortch hasn't surpassed 20 receiving yards since Week 6, a stretch in which he's otherwise mustered an 11-61-1 line on 16 targets over nine contests. Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson typically handle a majority share of snaps afforded Cardinals wide receivers, leaving Dortch to compete with Zay Jones for tertiary reps at the position.
Dec 25, 2024
Accrues 66 all-purpose yards
Dortch caught his only target for 19 yards, notched one carry for eight yards and returned one kickoff for 26 yards and one punt for 13 yards during Sunday's 36-30 overtime loss at Carolina.
ANALYSIS
Dortch followed up a season-high 60 receiving yards on three receptions Week 15 against the Patriots with a more typical performance Sunday, but he still accounted for 66 all-purpose yards while playing 21 of 70 (30 percent) offensive snaps. His usage on offense ranked fourth among Cardinals WRs behind Michael Wilson (90 percent), Marvin Harrison (81) and Zay Jones (39), so Dortch is more likely than not to be contained to a maximum of a catch or two per game over the final two weeks of the campaign.
Dec 16, 2024
Tallies 66 yards from scrimmage
Dortch hauled in all three of his targets for 60 yards, recorded one carry for six yards and had two punt returns for 13 yards during Sunday's 30-17 win versus the Patriots.
ANALYSIS
Dortch missed out on his second touchdown of the season when he fumbled on his only carry at New England's two-yard line, but fortuitously the ball was recovered by Cardinals offensive lineman Jonah Williams in the back of the end zone for Arizona's first TD of the game. In the passing game, Dortch's 39-yard catch in the second quarter actually surpassed all but two of his single-game tallies through 14 appearances on the campaign, and his 60 receiving yards marked a season high. Prior to this Week 15 matchup, Dortch had strung together seven straight outings with less than 10 total yards, so he can't be counted on for a repeat performance this coming Sunday in Carolina.
Dec 10, 2024
Accounts for 26 all-purpose yards Sunday
Dortch recorded a five-yard reception on his lone target and returned two punts for 21 yards in Sunday's 30-18 loss to the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
He took the field for 27 of the Cardinals' 71 snaps on offense, narrowly beating out Zay Jones (24) for third among Arizona wideouts behind Marvin Harrison (60) and Michael Wilson (59). Jones had earned more snaps than Dortch in each of the previous three games but failed to draw a target in any of those contests, while Dortch remained more involved (six targets, one rushing attempt) during that span despite the downturn in playing time. Dortch still hasn't earned more than three targets in any of his last seven appearances, so he'll remain largely off the fantasy radar even if the disparity in playing time between him and Jones becomes larger in weeks to come.
Nov 11, 2024
Notches one reception Sunday
Dortch's sole catch went for minus-1 yard during Sunday's 31-6 victory against the Jets.
ANALYSIS
After being involved regularly in the Cardinals' passing game through four contests (15-131-0 on 20 targets), Dortch's production has fallen off significantly over the last six outings (7-56-1 on 13 targets). The offense revolves around RB James Conner, WR Marvin Harrison and TE Trey McBride, which doesn't leave much more than scraps for the remaining pass catchers. With a Week 11 bye on deck, Dortch's next opportunity arrives Sunday, Nov. 24 in Seattle.
Nov 5, 2024
No catches Sunday
Dortch didn't haul in his only target and returned four punts for 65 yards during Sunday's 29-9 win over the Bears.
ANALYSIS
Dortch remains the Cardinals' No. 3 wide receiver, but in an offense that funnels most of the targets to rookie first-round WR Marvin Harrison, TE Trey McBride and RB James Conner, there often aren't enough targets otherwise for the remaining Cardinals' skill talent to yield weekly output. As evidence, Dortch has combined for a 6-57-1 line on 12 targets over the last five contests, leaving him well outside of the fantasy conversation.
Oct 23, 2024
Finds end zone in win
Dortch caught one of his two targets for five yards and a touchdown in Monday's 17-15 win over the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Dortch's trip to the end zone accounted for quarterback Kyler Murray's only passing touchdown of the contest. With that said, the veteran wideout played just 17 of the Cardinals' 57 offensive snaps, his lowest snap share of the season. Though he hit pay dirt for the first time this season, his one reception and five yards were both season lows for the 26-year-old. In an offense that is struggling to produce consistently through the air, Dortch is best ignored for fantasy purposes outside of the deepest formats. The Cardinals head to Miami for a matchup against the Dolphins in Week 8.
Oct 15, 2024
Records trio of catches in Week 6
Dortch hauled in three of five targets for 36 yards, had a 29-yard kick return and lost a fumble during Sunday's 34-13 loss in Green Bay.
ANALYSIS
Dortch was targeted just once before rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison left with a concussion midway through the second quarter, so while his 9.0 yards per target thereafter was a healthy mark, his long catch of 16 yards ended in a lost fumble at the Green Bay 23-yard line with 21 seconds remaining in the third quarter in a 31-13 contest at the time. And after Dortch paced the Cardinals with 17 kick returns for 360 yards last season, newcomer DeeJay Dallas (11-355-1) has been the team's main man in that regard in 2024. Dortch may have some short-term sway in Arizona's offense if Harrison is forced to miss next Monday's game against the Chargers, but TE Trey McBride, WR Michael Wilson and RB James Conner figure to be the best bets for passes from QB Kyler Murray in such a scenario.
Oct 8, 2024
Has season-worst performance Sunday
Dortch hauled in one of two targets for seven yards and returned one kickoff for 27 yards and one punt for one yard during Sunday's 24-23 win at San Francisco.
ANALYSIS
Dortch's target count matched his season low, and his catch and yardage totals also marked his worst of the campaign. He didn't lack in snaps (24 of 58) working as the Cardinals' No. 3 WR behind Marvin Harrison (44) and Michael Wilson (42), who combined for a 7-114-0 line on 13 targets while TE Trey McBride paced the team with nine targets in his return from a one game absence. With James Conner seeing one more target than Dortch, the latter isn't any more than fifth in the pecking order for looks from QB Kyler Murray at the moment.
Sep 29, 2024
Four catches in Week 4
Dortch caught all four of his targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 42-14 loss to the Commanders.
ANALYSIS
Dortch tied with Michael Wilson for second on the Cardinals in receiving yards, seven behind Marvin Harrison's team-high 45. The slot receiver has caught 15 of 20 targets for 131 yards heading into a Week 5 road game against the 49ers.
Sep 23, 2024
Makes trio of catches Sunday
Dortch caught three of six targets for 35 yards during Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Dortch earned a season-high 66 percent snap share Week 3, but he continued as the Cardinals' No. 3 WR behind starters Marvin Harrison (88 percent, 5-64-1 on 11 targets) and Michael Wilson (90 percent, 8-64-0 on nine targets). With third-year pro Trey McBride entering the concussion protocol after Sunday's game, the potential exists for more targets for Dortch if the tight end can't go this coming Sunday against the Commanders. Still, Dortch is fifth, at best, in the pecking order in Arizona's offense when everyone is healthy.
Sep 22, 2024
Suiting up Sunday
Dortch (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game versus the Lions.
ANALYSIS
The Cardinals tacked on Dortch to Friday's practice report as limited due to a hamstring injury, which left him questionable for Week 3 action. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Sunday morning that Dortch was in line to play through it, and indeed that'll come to pass. He's a regular in Arizona's offense, but with WRs Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson, TE Trey McBride and even RB James Conner ahead of him in the pecking order for targets, Dortch's output (8-58-0 on 10 targets, a four-yard carry through two contests) is too inconsistent to trust for fantasy purposes on a weekly basis.
Sep 22, 2024
Should play through hamstring issue
Dortch (hamstring) is listed as questionable but is expected to play Sunday versus the Lions, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
A late-week addition to the Cardinals' injury report after the hamstring issue limited his participation in Friday's practice, Dortch looks poised to play through the injury in Week 3, though he won't be officially cleared until Arizona releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. Through the first two games, Dortch has served as Arizona's No. 3 receiver while stringing together an 8-58-0 receiving line on 10 targets.
Sep 20, 2024
Questionable with hamstring injury
Dortch is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Lions due to a hamstring injury, which limited him at Friday's practice, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch was a late addition to the Cardinals' injury report, implying he may have tweaked his hamstring during drills at some point during Week 3 prep. His status won't be confirmed until approximately 90 minutes before Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, but if he's inhibited or inactive, targets behind starters Marvin Harrison and Michael Wilson would be up for grabs for Chris Moore, Zach Pascal and potentially undrafted rookie Xavier Weaver (oblique).
Sep 16, 2024
Catches both targets Sunday
Dortch gathered in both targets for 11 yards during Sunday's 41-10 victory against the Rams.
ANALYSIS
After pacing the Cardinals in catches (six) and receiving yards (47) in the season-opening loss at Buffalo, Dortch was usurped by rookie fourth overall pick Marvin Harrison, who broke out with four catches (on eight targets) for 130 yards and two touchdowns Sunday. Dortch remained No. 3 in the WR pecking order behind Harrison and Michael Wilson, but his snap share fell from 61 percent Week 1 to 39 percent this past weekend. Dortch's next chance to produce arrives Sunday versus the Lions.
Sep 8, 2024
Leading receiver in Week 1 loss
Dortch caught six of eight targets for 47 yards and added a four-yard rush in Sunday's 34-28 loss to the Bills. He also had a six-yard punt return.
ANALYSIS
Dortch led the Cardinals in catches and receiving yards while finishing one target shy of Trey McBride's team-leading total. The slot receiver's significant Week 1 involvement was encouraging, but rookie fourth overall pick Marvin Harrison had just four yards on three targets in his NFL debut, and Harrison will almost certainly be significantly more involved on the outside moving forward. The Cardinals will host the Rams in Week 2.
Aug 10, 2024
No action in preseason opener
Dortch didn't suit up for Saturday's preseason game versus the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Dortch was listed as a starting wide receiver on the Cardinals' first unofficial depth chart of training camp alongside rookie first-round pick Marvin Harrison and second-year pro Michael Wilson. After going undrafted in 2019 and not seeing an offensive snap until 2021 with Arizona, Dortch was worked his way into a regular role in the offense the last two seasons, accounting for 76 catches (on 105 targets) for 747 yards and four touchdowns in 32 regular-season games during that stretch. Coach Jonathan Gannon expressed confidence in Dortch this past Tuesday, telling Darren Urban of the team's official site, "He's going to have a big year, guys." In addition to his upcoming role on offense, Dortch is expected to be a part of the return mix as well, boasting career averages of 21.0 yards on 37 kick returns and 8.0 yards on 62 punt returns.
Jul 26, 2024
Working with starting offense
Dortch has been working with the first-team offense, PHNX Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
The 5-foot-7 slot man started off as a backup the past two seasons but usually got a good number of targets when injuries thrust him into a top-three role. The Cardinals apparently liked what they saw and now have Dortch positioned to open the year getting regular slot snaps, albeit with free-agent signing Zay Jones lingering as a threat to fill in if Dortch slips up. Jones has mostly worked with backups early in training camp, and he might be more of a threat to perimeter receiver Michael Wilson than to Dortch.
Apr 3, 2024
Signs contract tender with Arizona
Dortch signed his one-year exclusive rights tender with the Cardinals on Wednesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch is coming off a 2023 regular season in which he recorded 24 receptions (on 41 targets) for 280 yards and two TDs in 16 contests for Arizona. With Marquise Brown and Rondale Moore no longer with the team, Dortch figures to see added opportunities in 2024, though to what degree remains to be seen since the Cardinals figure add wideout depth in the coming weeks via the NFL Draft and/or free agency.
Mar 15, 2024
Big opportunity ahead?
Dortch is part of a thin WR room in Arizona after the team traded Rondale Moore and lost Marquise Brown in free agency, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 5-foot-7 slot man and return specialist had eight games with seven or more targets over the past two seasons, seeing passes at an unusual rate for someone that only got significant playing time when injuries forced other players out of the lineup. Dortch might get a real opportunity in 2024, though the Cardinals still have time to strengthen their WR group, particularly via the NFL Draft in April. He received a qualifying tender last week as an exclusive rights free agent, and he'll turn 26 this spring heading into this fourth year with the Cardinals.
Mar 7, 2024
Tendered by Cardinals
Arizona offered Dortch a qualifying tender of $1.13 million for the 2024 season, Jason Fitzgerald of Over the Cap reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch, an exclusive rights free agent, has no choice but to sign the tender offered to him by the Cardinals if he wants to play in the NFL for the 2024 season. Across 16 appearances last season Dortch mostly contributed as Arizona's top punt and kick returner, but he also contributed on offense upon Kyler Murray's mid-season return from injury. In all, he secured 24 passes for 280 yards and two scores.
Feb 8, 2024
Serves mostly on returns in 2023
Dortch reeled in 24 of 41 passes for 280 yards and two touchdowns, had one five-yard carry, recorded 17 kick returns for 360 yards and returned 29 punts for 275 yards in 16 regular-season games in 2023.
ANALYSIS
Dortch was barely utilized (one target) before Week 9, but with Kyler Murray back from a torn ACL thereafter, the wide receiver was a regular option for the quarterback the rest of the way. Even though a variety of injuries stretched the receiving corps thin during that span, Dortch mustered just a 23-278-2 line on 39 targets over the final eight contests of the campaign. He's an exclusive-rights free agent this offseason, so he likely will be a member of the Cardinals in 2024 assuming they tender him a contract.
Dec 31, 2023
Leads team with 82 yards
Dortch pulled in all seven of his targets for 82 yards in Sunday's 35-31 win over the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
Dortch served as one of the Cardinals' top targets sans Marquise Brown (heel) in Sunday's thrilling comeback victory over the Eagles. Dortch wound up finishing with more receiving yards than any receiver from either team Sunday. The Wake Forest product has stepped up when called upon at various points of the season, averaging 4.5 receptions and 56.8 yards with two touchdowns in the four games he has been targeted five or more times. With Hollywood Brown already being placed on injured reserve, Dortch figures to serve as a top wideout for Arizona in Week 18.
Dec 24, 2023
Active in Week 16
Dortch (shoulder) is listed as active Sunday in Chicago, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After opening Week 16 prep with back-to-back absences due to a shoulder injury, Dortch mixed into drills Friday as a limited participant. Coach Jonathan Gannon then told Johnny Venerable of GoPHNX.com that Dortch was trending in the "right direction" to play in Sunday's game, which has come to pass. With the Cardinals' top wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel) inactive, Dortch will be among the options at the position for quarterback Kyler Murray along with Michael Wilson and Rondale Moore.
Dec 22, 2023
Listed as questionable
Dortch (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch returned to practice Friday as a limited participant after missing the previous two sessions, with coach Jonathan Gannon telling reporters the wide receiver is trending in the "right direction" to suit up Sunday, per Johnny Venerable of PHNX Cardinals. If so, Dortch figures to occupy a top-three role alongside Michael Wilson and Rondale Moore, as Marquise Brown (heel) has been ruled out after missing practice all week. The Cardinals and Bears are scheduled for a late-afternoon kickoff at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday.
Dec 22, 2023
Returning to practice
Dortch (shoulder) will return to practice Friday and could play in Sunday's game at Chicago, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
It sounds like Dortch is headed for a 'questionable' designation on the final injury report, after missing practice Wednesday and Thursday. Marquise Brown, meanwhile, has been ruled out for Week 16 after aggravating his heel injury yet again during the Cardinals' Week 15 loss to San Francisco. If he makes it through Friday's practice without incident, Dortch could get a lot of snaps and targets in Chicago this Sunday.
Dec 21, 2023
Another DNP on Thursday
Dortch (shoulder) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch has kicked off Week 16 prep with back-to-back absences due to a shoulder issue, giving him just one more opportunity to get back on the practice field this week. The Cardinals' top wide receiver Marquise Brown also has yet to mix into drills due to a lingering heel injury. In the end, Friday's practice report may clear up the statuses of one or both players ahead of Sunday's contest at Chicago.
Dec 20, 2023
Dealing with shoulder injury
Dortch (shoulder) didn't take part in Wednesday's practice, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch joined fellow wide receiver Marquise Brown as a non-participant due to a new health concern. The pair thus will have two more chances this week to put themselves in positions to play Sunday at Chicago. At the moment, Michael Wilson, Rondale Moore and Zach Pascal are the healthy options at the position for the Cardinals.
Dec 19, 2023
Snags two passes Sunday
Dortch caught two of three passes for 15 yards, had a five-yard carry and returned one punt for no yards in Sunday's 45-29 loss to the 49ers.
ANALYSIS
For a fourth contest in a row, Dortch earned at least a 65 percent snap share, which has been aided by injuries to the Cardinals' top receivers Marquise Brown and Michael Wilson. Wilson returned from a three-game absence Week 15 and logged 88 percent of snaps, while Brown departed for a second straight outing due to a heel issue. Dortch has managed just a 12-137-1 line on 23 targets during those four games, but if Brown finally requires an absence, the former may remain a regular in the passing attack along with Wilson, Rondale Moore and Zach Pascal.
Dec 5, 2023
Records one catch in Week 13
Dortch gathered in one of three targets for 19 yards, returned three kickoffs for 24 yards and had a 24-yard punt return during Sunday's 24-10 victory at Pittsburgh.
ANALYSIS
Since Kyler Murray returned from his torn ACL in Week 10, Dortch's workload has increased, starting Week 11. Over the last three games, he's earned at least a 70 percent snap share and recorded 10 catches (on 20 targets) for 122 yards and one touchdown. With the Cardinals' top two wide receivers Marquise Brown (heel) and Michael Wilson (shoulder) banged up, Dortch has a chance in the short term to continue to experience additional work in the offense.
Nov 29, 2023
Scores first TD of season
Dortch hauled in three of nine targets for 27 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 37-14 defeat to the Rams.
ANALYSIS
With Michael Wilson (shoulder) out the last two games, Dortch has been the Cardinals wide receiver to profit alongside Marquise Brown, compiling a combined 9-103-1 line on 17 targets. Dortch also received a red-zone target from Kyler Murray for a second straight contest en route to his first TD, a seven-yard catch, of the campaign. There's no telling when Wilson may return to the lineup, so Dortch could be a decent fantasy dart in the short term, while fellow wide receiver Rondale Moore continues to be relegated to his 4.3 touches per game.
Nov 19, 2023
Surprisingly productive in loss
Dortch brought in six of eight targets for 76 yards in the Cardinals' 21-16 loss to the Texans on Sunday. He also returned one kickoff for 23 yards and one punt for three yards.
ANALYSIS
Dortch was the surprise leader in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the afternoon for the Cardinals after coming into the game with one catch for two yards on the season. Michael Wilson's absence due to a shoulder injury helped open the door for Dortch's sudden boost in volume, and it remains to be seen if the surge in production will have any carryover into a Week 12 home matchup against the Rams if Wilson returns.
Nov 5, 2023
Will play Sunday
Dortch (ankle) is active Sunday against the Browns.
ANALYSIS
Dortch will return after a one-game absence, boosting Arizona's special teams unit, where he operates as the return man. The 25-year-old has only one target on the season.
Oct 29, 2023
Won't play Week 8
Dortch (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's contest against the Ravens, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch sustained the injury in the week leading up to Sunday's contest and was unable to practice Friday. It'll be the first game Dortch will miss this year and he'll look to work his way back for Week 9 against the Browns.
Oct 27, 2023
Questionable for Sunday vs. Ravens
Dortch (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus Baltimore, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch missed practice Friday with an ankle injury he presumably sustained during the week, putting his status for Week 8 in limbo. If he can't play Sunday, it will likely force Arizona to lean a bit more on Rondale Moore out of the slot.
Oct 18, 2023
Draws first target of season
Dortch played 16 of the Cardinals' 76 snaps on offense and failed to corral his lone target in Sunday's 26-9 loss to the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Dortch had stretches of relevance in deeper fantasy leagues in 2022 and finished with a 52-467-2 receiving line on 64 targets over his 16 appearances, but he's been an afterthought in the Arizona passing attack thus far in 2023. Though he's suited up for each of the Cardinals' first six games, Dortch has logged just 18 snaps on offense, and the target he drew Sunday was his first of the season. Dortch should continue to suit up on game days due to his duties as the team's top kick and punt returner, but expect his role on offense to remain minimal while all of Marquise Brown, Michael Wilson, Rondale Moore and Zach Pascal are available.
Aug 21, 2023
Makes minor mark Saturday
Dortch hauled in one of three targets for 10 yards and returned two punts for four yards during Saturday's 38-10 preseason defeat to the Chiefs.
ANALYSIS
Dortch broke out with a 52-467-2 line on 64 targets in 16 games last season, partly due to numerous injuries affecting the Cardinals' receiving corps. The campaign featured highs (four games of 50-plus yards) and lows (10 outings with less than 20 yards). With DeAndre Hopkins moving on this offseason, Dortch will be vying for targets with Marquise Brown, Rondale Moore and rookie third-round pick Michael Wilson at wide receiver in 2023.
Mar 10, 2023
Sticking around in Arizona
Dortch announced via his personal Twitter account that he's re-signed with the Cardinals.
ANALYSIS
Dortch is now set to remain in Arizona for this upcoming campaign following Friday's announcement. After a quiet first couple of years to begin his NFL career, the 24-year-old had a breakthrough season in 2022 despite the combination of the inconsistent quarterback play that he experienced, as well as the Cardinals' depth at the wide receiver position. Dortch will aim to build off of the 52 catches, 467 yards and two scores that he registered this previous campaign.
Feb 18, 2023
Puts together career season
Dortch gathered in 52 of 64 passes for 467 yards and two touchdowns and took seven carries for 44 yards in 16 appearances during the 2022 campaign.
ANALYSIS
All of the aforementioned stats were career highs for the third-year pro, and Dortch also continued to handle returns, averaging 19.8 yards on 11 kick returns and 6.6 yards on 26 punt returns. Neither of those per-return marks were otherworldly, and while his workload on offense was yanked around from week to week, his catch rate of 81.3 percent ranked seventh among NFL players to see at least 50 targets. Dortch is a pending restricted free agent, so Arizona will have the ability to match any offer sheet he receives from another team once free agency begins March 15.
Jan 1, 2023
Does little with 10 targets
Dortch recorded four receptions on 10 targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 20-19 loss to the Falcons.
ANALYSIS
Coming off a career-high 10-catch performance in Week 16, Dortch tied for the team lead in targets. However, he was unable to convert that opportunity into any type of production as his longest reception went for just 11 yards. So long as DeAndre Hopkins (knee) remains sidelined, Dortch should continue to see expanded opportunity, though the overall state of the Arizona offense could hold back his numbers.
Dec 26, 2022
Career-best night in Week 16 loss
Dortch secured 10 of 11 targets for 98 yards and rushed three times for 25 yards in the Cardinals' 19-16 overtime loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday night.
ANALYSIS
Dortch's career-best night came out of nowhere, considering he'd logged just four snaps from scrimmage apiece in the prior two games and had gone without a target in those contests as well. The third-year wideout served as spot starter Trace McSorley's security blanket from early in the game, however, and he finished the night leading the Cardinals in all receiving categories. If McSorley were to log another start for Colt McCoy (concussion) in a Week 17 road matchup versus the Falcons, the speedster could have another does of expanded opportunity.
Dec 23, 2022
Cleared for Week 16
Dortch doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's matchup against Tampa Bay, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch was limited for practices Wednesday and Thursday due to a knee injury, which was concerning given he sat out Week 12 with a knee issue. However, it appears his lack of full participation was merely precautionary, and the wideout should be good to go for Week 16. He's operated primarily on special teams over his past two appearances, but if Marquise Brown (groin) is sidelined, Dortch could be thrust into a sizable offensive role against Tampa Bay.
Dec 21, 2022
Limited by knee Wednesday
Dortch (knee) was limited at Wednesday's practice, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Since sitting out Week 12 with a thumb injury, Dortch used the Cardinals' Week 13 bye to get healthy, but his usage has sunk to little more than special-teams work over the last two games. As such, his 10 targets from Week 11 appear to be an aberration, as his 10 offensive snaps from the past two outings haven't yielded any targets. If he's able to suit up and eventually get some plays on offense Sunday against the Buccaneers, any passes that come to Dortch will be from Trace McSorley, who is getting the start under center with Kyler Murray on IR due to a torn ACL and Colt McCoy unavailable due to a concussion.
Dec 8, 2022
Logs full practice Thursday
Dortch (thumb) practiced in full Thursday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After going off for a career-high 109 yards on nine catches during a Week 11 loss to the 49ers, Dortch didn't practice in the ensuing week due to a thumb injury and eventually went down as one of the Cardinals' inactives Week 12 against the Chargers. With the benefit of Arizona's bye week, though, he's able to handle all on-field work, which can't be said for DeAndre Hopkins (illness) and Rondale Moore (groin), both of whom were DNPs on Thursday. Arizona still has two more sessions to go during Week 14 prep, but if one or both of Hopkins and/or Moore are limited or out Monday versus the Patriots, Dortch could take on a bigger role alongside the likes of Marquise Brown and A.J. Green.
Nov 27, 2022
Sitting out in Week 12
Dortch (thumb) is listed as inactive Sunday versus the Chargers, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
In the wake of his 103-yard performance last Monday against the 49ers, Dortch was revealed to be dealing with a thumb injury, but surgery was ruled out, and he was considered day-to-day by coach Kliff Kingsbury. Dortch proceeded to miss every Week 12 practice and entered the weekend as a game-time call, but a report from Adam Schefter of ESPN late Saturday noted he was unlikely to play. Indeed, that has come to pass, meaning the Cardinals will go with DeAndre Hopkins, Marquise Brown, A.J. Green, Robbie Anderson, Andre Baccellia and Pharoh Cooper at wide receiver Sunday with Rondale Moore (groin) also unavailable.
Nov 26, 2022
Unlikely to play in Week 12
Dortch (thumb) isn't expected to play Sunday versus the Chargers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The situation at wide receiver for the Cardinals has lacked clarity all week, but with Rondale Moore (groin) getting ruled out Friday and Marquise Brown (foot) being activated from IR on Saturday, Dortch is the final domino waiting to fall. That hasn't happened yet, but if he's deemed inactive about 90 minutes before Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff, Arizona's likely available receivers will be DeAndre Hopkins, Brown, A.J. Green and Robbie Anderson, with Saturday signing Andre Baccellia and practice-squad call-up Pharoh Cooper the other candidates to be active.
Nov 25, 2022
Game-time call
Dortch (thumb) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers and will be treated as a game-time decision, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch's availability takes on more importance given the upcoming absence of Rondale Moore, whose groin injury in the first quarter opened the door for Dortch to top 100 yards in a loss to the 49ers on Monday. While similar production is unlikely in any event, Dortch could man the slot this week in an Arizona offense that hopes to get Marquise Brown (foot) back from injured reserve. Kingsbury did say Brown's role could be limited his first game back, but Dortch will need to prove he's healthy enough to capitalize before the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff this SUnday.
Nov 24, 2022
Another DNP on Thursday
Dortch (thumb) was listed as a DNP on Thursday's practice report, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After posting the first 100-yard game of his pro career Monday against the 49ers, Dortch was revealed to be dealing with a thumb injury that required an MRI and hasn't allowed him to take part in either walkthrough during Week 12 prep. It's unclear if he's in danger of missing Sunday's contest versus the Chargers, but the Cardinals could reveal the statuses of both Dortch and Rondale Moore (groin) as soon as Friday. With Marquise Brown (foot) currently in his 21-day window to be activated from IR, DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Green and Robbie Anderson are Arizona's healthy wide receivers on the active roster.
Nov 23, 2022
Sits out Wednesday's walkthrough
Dortch (thumb) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated injury report, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Like Rondale Moore (groin), Dortch was held out to begin Week 12 prep. Unlike Moore, Dortch still has a chance to play Sunday against the Chargers, with two more practices to put himself on a path to do so. There's a chance Marquise Brown (foot) is activated from IR by Sunday, but even if he is, he likely will be on a pitch count. For the time being, DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Green and Robbie Anderson are the healthy wide receivers on the Cardinals' active roster.
Nov 23, 2022
Avoids major injury
Dortch (thumb) won't need surgery and is considered day-to-day, Bob McManaman of the Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
An MRI on Tuesday revealed that Dorth avoided a serious injury when he left Monday's loss to the 49ers in the fourth quarter. He replaced an injured Rondale Moore (groin) in that contest and ended up catching nine of 10 targets for a team-high 103 yards. Dortch could handle the slot role again if his thumb heals before Moore's groin.
Nov 22, 2022
Set for MRI on thumb
Coach Kliff Kingsbury said Tuesday that Dortch will undergo an MRI on his thumb, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
There was no more information given, so it's unclear if Dortch is in danger of missing any time. He is coming off a career-best performance in Monday's loss to the 49ers in which he hauled in nine of 10 passes for 103 yards. The bump in playing time was aided by Rondale Moore leaving the contest early due to a groin injury, and the Cardinals still don't have the services of Marquise Brown (foot), who remains on injured reserve. With all three potentially question marks for Week 12 action, the situation will be one to watch as the team prepares for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Nov 22, 2022
First 100-yard game
Dortch recorded nine receptions on 10 targets for 103 yards in Monday's 38-10 loss to the 49ers.
ANALYSIS
Rondale Moore (groin) was injured on Arizona's first offensive play and did not return. That opened up the slot role for Dortch, who took advantage for long gains of 47 and 13 yards. That helped him top 100 receiving yards in a game for the first time in his career, though it's unclear how long Moore may be sidelined and Marquise Brown (foot) appears to be nearing a return. If either Brown or Moore returns in Week 12, Dortch will find it difficult to earn a significant role in the Arizona offense.
Nov 13, 2022
Suiting up in Week 10
Dortch (groin) is listed as active Sunday at the Rams, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch was tacked on to Arizona's injury report Friday as limited due to a groin issue, which made him questionable for this Week 10 NFC West matchup. With his status cleared up, though, he'll be available to the Cards offense for the 10th time in as many games this season. While he was leaned on heavily through Week 3 on his way to a 20-198-1 line in 23 targets, Dortch has received just seven touches for 27 yards from scrimmage and one TD catch in six appearances since then.
Nov 11, 2022
Added to injury report
Dortch was limited in Friday's practice with a groin injury and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch was added to the injury report Friday, presumably after suffering an injury in practice. He took only five snaps the week before, relegated to a pure depth role with Robbie Anderson joining DeAndre Hopkins and Rondale Moore as full-timers.
Nov 8, 2022
Compiles two touches Sunday
Dortch recorded one catch (on one target) for zero yards and one carry for three yards during Sunday's 31-21 loss to the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
Since opening the season with at least 55 receiving yards in each of the Cardinals' first three games, Dortch has been afforded just seven touches for 27 yards and one TD in six contests in the meantime. His snap share during that stretch has ranged from three to 53 percent of the offensive plays, while DeAndre Hopkins and Rondale Moore have been the beneficiaries of Marquise Brown's (foot) IR stint. Arizona also gave recent addition Robbie Anderson a large workload Sunday (83 percent, three targets), meaning Dortch may continue to struggle for reps on offense.
Oct 25, 2022
Despite TD, sparse usage continues
Dortch caught his only target for a five-yard touchdown and had one carry for one yard during the Cardinals' Week 6 win against the Saints.
ANALYSIS
Despite playing the third-most offensive snaps (35 of 66) among Arizona wide receivers behind DeAndre Hopkins (61) and Rondale Moore (59), Dortch was unable to take advantage in an offense that was missing Marquise Brown (foot) and top running back James Conner (ribs), among others. After compiling a 20-198-1 line on 23 targets in the first three games of the campaign, Dortch has been targeted just twice in four contests in the meantime. Now, even with Brown out of commission for the foreseeable future, Dortch appears to be an afterthought for quarterback Kyler Murray with Hopkins back from suspension and tight end Zach Ertz regularly involved in the passing game.
Oct 5, 2022
Sparse stat line in Week 4
Dortch recorded one catch (on one target) for six yards during Sunday's 26-16 victory in Carolina.
ANALYSIS
Dortch opened the campaign by logging between 74 and 90 percent of the offensive snaps Weeks 1-3 en route to a surprising 20-198-1 line on 23 targets. The usage seemingly was situational with DeAndre Hopkins suspended, Antoine Wesley (hip) on IR and Rondale Moore (hamstring) sidelined. While Moore made his season debut Sunday, A.J. Green sat out with a knee injury, but Dortch was a distant third (36 percent) to Marquise Brown (93 percent) and Moore (86 percent) in terms of offensive snap share. This now may be Dortch's reality moving forward, and he could fall even further down the depth chart whenever Hopkins, Green and Wesley are healthy and/or available.
Sep 30, 2022
Clear for Week 4
Dortch (back) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game at Carolina, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Following back-to-back capped session to kick off Week 4 prep due to a back issue, Dortch managed every practice rep Friday, clearing him to play this weekend. Dortch and Andy Isabella are the only healthy wide receivers for the Cardinals at the moment, as DeAndre Hopkins (suspension), A.J. Green (knee) and Antoine Wesley (hip, IR) are unavailable and Marquise Brown (rest/foot) and Rondale Moore (hamstring) are questionable for Sunday. As a result, Dortch could be even more involved in Arizona's passing game after putting together a 20-198-1 line on 23 targets through the first three games of the campaign.
Sep 29, 2022
Remains limited Thursday
Dortch (back) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Currently, the Cardinals have just two healthy wide receivers (Marquise Brown and Andy Isabella) on the active roster, as A.J. Green (knee) seems destined to sit out Sunday at Carolina, Rondale Moore (hamstring) and Dortch have been limited in practice this week, DeAndre Hopkins remains suspended, and Antoine Wesley (hip) is on injured reserve. If Dortch is able to get past his current back issue, he likely will be the team's No. 2 wideout behind Brown this weekend.
Sep 28, 2022
Dealing with back issue
Dortch (back) was limited at Wednesday's practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch has been producing on a weekly basis this season within Arizona's depleted receiving corps, gathering in 20 of 23 targets for 198 yards and one touchdown through three games. His snap share has eclipsed 74 percent on each occasion, but he's now joined his fellow receivers on the injury report. On a positive note, Dortch was able to practice along with Rondale Moore (hamstring, limited), while A.J. Green (knee) is expected to miss at least one game. If Dortch can ditch his designation ahead of Sunday's contest in Carolina, he again will be in line for regular looks from quarterback Kyler Murray.
Sep 25, 2022
Nine grabs in Sunday's loss
Dortch caught nine of 10 targets for 80 yards in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Rams.
ANALYSIS
The 24-year-old continues to be one of the most surprising performers of the young 2022 season. Dortch came into the campaign with only three career catches, but in an offense missing DeAndre Hopkins (suspension) and Rondale Moore (hamstring), he's emerged as Kyler Murray's No. 2 option behind Marquise Brown, posting a 20-198-1 line on 23 targets through three games. With Hopkins out another three weeks and Moore still unproven despite being a second-round pick in 2021, Dortch figures to remain productive in Week 4 against the Panthers.
Sep 19, 2022
Tallies first career touchdown
Dortch reeled in all four targets for 55 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 29-23 overtime win in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Dortch has taken advantage of the Cardinals' depleted receiving corps to start the season, as all of DeAndre Hopkins (suspension), Rondale Moore (hamstring) and Antoine Wesley (hip, IR) have yet to be active through two games. During that span, Dortch ranks second among the team's wide receivers in offensive snaps (115) behind Marquise Brown (132) and ahead of A.J. Green (113) en route to a team-leading 11 catches for 118 yards (to go with Sunday's score). With Moore potentially out a few more weeks, Dortch can expect Kyler Murray to continue looking his direction.
Sep 11, 2022
Surprising leading receiver Sunday
Dortch caught seven of nine targets for 63 yards in Sunday's 44-21 loss to Kansas City.
ANALYSIS
The 24-year-old came into the game with only three career receptions in seven NFL games, but Dortch wound up leading the Cardinals in catches, targets and receiving yards. He took full advantage of the absences of DeAndre Hopkins (suspension) and Rondale Moore (hamstring), and while Marquise Brown should be Kyler Murray's top target in the long run, Dortch could supply some surprising production in the early part of the year until Arizona's receiving corps is closer to full strength.
Dec 25, 2021
Signs with active roster
The Cardinals signed Dortch off the practice squad Saturday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
With DeAndre Hopkins (knee) on injured reserve and Rondale Moore (ankle) banged up at the moment, Dortch will provide depth to Arizona's receiving corps. Still, it remains to be seen if Dortch will be active for Saturday's game against the Colts with all of A.J. Green, Christian Kirk, Antoine Wesley and Andy Isabella all healthy and above him on the depth chart.
Nov 15, 2021
Reverts to practice squad
Dortch reverted to the Cardinals' practice squad Monday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch was elevated from Arizona's practice squad for a second straight week during Sunday's loss to the Panthers. However, he played just one offensive snap against Carolina and wasn't targeted.
Nov 13, 2021
Elevated again for Week 10
Dortch was elevated to the Cardinals' active roster from their practice squad Saturday.
ANALYSIS
With DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) and Rondale Moore (concussion) both questionable, Dortch will join the Cardinals' roster for the second consecutive game to provide depth at wide receiver. He played just four offensive snaps in Week 9, so Dortch's role will likely remain limited Sunday against the Panthers.
Nov 10, 2021
Reverts back to practice squad
The Cardinals reverted Dortch back to their practice squad on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Dortch was elevated to the Cardinals' active roster for Week 9 as Arizona was without DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) and A.J. Green (reserve/COVID-19). The receiver played four offensive snaps and nine special teams snaps in the Cardinals' win over the 49ers. Dortch will likely stay on the Cardinals' practice squad barring any injuries to Arizona's starting receivers.
Nov 6, 2021
Added to active roster
Dortch was elevated to the active roster Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Dortch will get a chance to play Sunday against the 49ers. With DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) questionable and A.J. Green on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the Cardinals could be thin at wide receiver.
Aug 31, 2021
Placed on waivers
Dortch was waived by the Cardinals on Tuesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Dortch played just 17 special-teams snaps as a rookie in 2019, and he hasn't taken the field since then. The Wake Forest product is still just 23 years old, so he'll try to continue his development on the practice squad.
