New Orleans placed Young (ankle) on its injured reserve list Tuesday, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com, Young will undergo surgery to address the ankle injury he sustained during the Saints' preseason finale versus the Broncos. Due to the timing of his trip to IR, he'll have to stay there until the end of the 2025 season unless he works out an injury settlement with New Orleans.
