Taking part in OTAs
Muti (shoulder) has been participating in the Lions' offseason training activities, John Maakaron of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Muti spent all of last season on IR due to a shoulder injury after signing with the Lions in February. He's presumably now healthy given his participation in OTAs. Maakaron notes that Muti has been working with Detroit's second-unit offensive line, which coincides with the expectation that he'll work in a backup role if he makes the team.

Back with Raiders
Muti signed an extension with the Raiders on Thursday.

Gets call to active roster
The Broncos elevated Muti from the practice squad to their active roster for Sunday's game against the Texans, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Muti was dealing with a knee injury in mid-August, but he appears to be good to go and will get a chance to make his season debut in Week 2. The 2020 sixth-round pick was competing for a starting role before suffering the knee injury but will likely operate in a depth role to help mitigate the loss of Quinn Meinerz (hamstring).

Recovering from procedure
Muti (knee) is week to week after recently undergoing surgery, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
It's a discouraging sign for Muti, who was already likely on the outside looking in at a starting spot on Denver's offensive line. He'll provide a solid boost to the Broncos' depth at guard whenever he returns, but Graham Glasgow and Ben Braden should see an uptick in reps for now.

Dealing with knee injury
Muti is dealing with a knee issue, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
ANALYSIS
The third-year guard had three starts for the Broncos in 2021, but may be out of the running to find a starting role in 2022 with Dalton Risner returning from last year's partially torn UCL and impressing in camp thus far. Muti battled achilles and lisfranc injuries through his college career, so another issue springing up is a concern for his durability.

Placed on reserve/COVID-19 list

ANALYSIS

Comes off NFI list
The Broncos activated Muti from the active/non-football injury list Tuesday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Muti, a sixth-rounder in the 2020 draft, dealt with injuries during his last two years at Fresno State, limiting him to five appearances. As a result, the Broncos may have been giving him some leeway as the team prepared to begin the strength and conditioning portion of training camp.

Lands on NFI list
Muti (foot) has been placed on the Broncos' Non-Football Injury list, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Jon Heath of The Coloradoan, the 2020 sixth-rounder suffered a Lisfranc injury during his junior season at Fresno State and it's possible that the Broncos simply want to give the young lineman some extra time to recover from that issue instead of pressing him into action.
