Snares lone target against Philly
Remigio reeled in his only target for 21 yards during Sunday's 20-17 loss against the Eagles.
ANALYSIS
Remigio saw the field for all of two offensive snaps, so his one target isn't really something to get excited about. The rookie figures to drop further down the pecking order when Xavier Worthy (shoulder) and Jalen Royals (knee) are cleared, and when Rashee Rice is clear of his six-game suspension. Remigio ranked fifth among wideouts in snaps Sunday despite the trio of absences.

Records two catches in 2024
Remigio played in five regular-season games in 2024 and posted two catches (on six targets) for 48 yards while adding 295 kick return yards and 104 punt return yards. He added 301 kick return yards and 57 punt return yards across the Chiefs' three playoff games.
ANALYSIS
Remigio spent the entire 2023 season on injured reserve due to a wrist injury that he suffered during training camp. He was unable to make the Chiefs' 53-man roster at the end of training camp in late August, but he opted to stick around and signed with the practice squad. Remigio was signed to the active roster in early December and made his NFL regular-season debut in Week 14 against the Chargers. He was mostly used as a return specialist in the eight games he appeared in across the regular season and playoffs, but he did play 30 offensive snaps in Week 18 against the Broncos. Remigio will look to improve during the offseason in order to earn a more consistent role in the Chiefs' offense for the 2025 season.

Signed to Chiefs' active roster
Kansas City signed Remigio from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Remigio has spent the entire regular season on the Chiefs' practice squad after he failed to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. Although he was never elevated from the practice squad, he now has a chance to make his NFL regular-season debut as a member of the active roster. Remigio will likely be limited to special teams work, though he could see some offensive snaps should any member of Kansas City's wide receiver corps be sidelined due to injury.

Gets endorsement from Toub
Special teams coordinator Dave Toub told reporters Tuesday that he will "pound the table" for Remigio to make the Kansas City's 53-man roster as a return specialist, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Remigio has been competing against Skyy Moore, Mecole Hardman and others for a return specialist role on kickoffs and punts during training camp. Across the Chiefs' two preseason games, Remigio has returned his two kickoffs for 31 yards each and added a 42-yard punt return in Saturday's contest against the Lions. He's also seen work on offense, accumulating five catches on eight targets for 51 targets across his two preseason outings. Remigio spent all of 2023 on the Chiefs' reserve/injured list with a wrist injury, and he has the endorsement of Toub to make the final 53-man roster at the end of training camp.

Could make 53-man roster
Remigio has been returning punts and kicks while also working with Kansas City's first-team offense during training camp, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The second-year wide receiver out of Fresno State has emerged throughout the summer, receiving increased reps with the first-team offense and impressing the coaching staff. Remigio has also been working as a return man, which enhances his chances of making Kansas City's 53-man roster. As the preseason continues, expect Remigio to compete for a depth role on the Chiefs' offense as well as the position of the team's top return man.

Building momentum entering Year 2
Remigio took a substantial amount of first-team reps throughout OTAs and minicamp and looked impressive, Adam Teicher of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
He got a chance to handle increased reps due to first-round rookie Xavier Worthy (hamstring) being sidelined, and Teicher reports that Remigio made the most of those opportunities. Kansas City boasts a crowded but still unsettled wide receiver corps, so Remigio will have to find a way to stand out in training camp alongside all of Marquise Brown, Rashee Rice, Justin Watson, Kadarius Toney, Mecole Hardman, Skyy Moore and Justyn Ross in order to make the roster. As Teicher notes, Remigio's abilities in the return game could improve his odds.

The wide receiver has an uphill battle to make the team's active roster in 2024, competing with the likes of Montrell Washington, Cornell Powell and Phillip Brooks to do so.

The Fresno State product is working to make the team after going undrafted in 2023 and was impressive during the team's preseason game Sunday against the Saints, according to Taylor.
