It wasn't his most efficient performance, though he still managed long gains of 20, 15 and 12 yards to top 100 yards from scrimmage for the third stright game to begin the campaign. While Davante Adams has been impactful in the Rams' offense, Nacua looks likely to remain the top producer most weeks.

Nacua made an impact in both conventional and unconventional fashion in Sunday's win. He kicked things off with a 45-yard rushing score early in the first quarter on an end around. Nacua comfortably led the Rams in receptions, receiving yards and targets, with his night boosted significantly by a 51-yard grab to ignite an early fourth-quarter drive. Nacua is averaging eight receptions and 111 receiving yards in the four games in which he has played 50 percent or more of his team's offensive snaps. More impressively, the BYU product has been posting these WR1-type numbers with fellow wideout Cooper Kupp in the lineup. Nacua is giving fantasy managers a strong push in the second half of the season after going down with a serious knee injury in Week 1.

The second-year wideout opened his monster performance with a 37-yard grab in the first quarter. Nacua made a diving grab for a 12-yard touchdown in the second quarter, and while he appeared to be a little shaken up, he returned and continued to be a target hog, eventually eclipsing his season-high of 106 in yardage from Week 8 against the Vikings. The Cooper Kupp/Nacua duo put up a combined 13-229-3 receiving line, but will be tested against a stout Eagles defense in Week 12.

The BYU product was as advertised, doing everything against the Dolphins but score his first touchdown of the season. With good health and any potential suspensions in the rearview mirror, Nacua makes for a fine play against the Patriots on Sunday.

After a pass intended for Nacua was intercepted, another Seattle defender came over to block Nacua as the Seahawks tried to set up a return. Nacua took exception as he had already touched the intercepting player down by contact, and the star receiver appeared to throw a punch at the player blocking him, resulting in the ejection. Prior to being ejected, Nacua had just one catch on four targets for 11 yards. A silver lining for Nacua is that he was able to play after aggravating a knee injury in practice Thursday, so he should be available in Week 10 against the Dolphins on MNF.

Nucua has reportedly dropped about 10 pounds over the offseason and shadowed Cooper Kupp, his positional mate and former Offensive Player of the Year, both in terms of training regimen and diet. Kupp was plagued by injuries even while on the field last season and should stands to demand a larger offensive share during the 2024 campaign, but Nucua looks to have already emerged as the new No. 1 wide receiver for Los Angeles. Coach Sean McVay's offense could be efficient enough for both wideouts to improve upon their production.

Nacua delivered a stellar performance in his playoff debut after a record-setting rookie season, highlighted by a 50-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter. The game's pivotal play was an incomplete pass to Nacua, though, as a Detroit defender grabbed his jersey on a third-down target from Matthew Stafford in the final minutes. A penalty would have set the Rams up in field-goal range, but the missed call led to a punt, and Detroit proceeded to run out the final 4:07, putting an end to Nacua's magical rookie season. After racking up 105 catches, 1,486 receiving yards and six touchdowns in the regular season, Nacua has gone from an unheralded fifth-round NFL Draft pick in 2023 to one of the league's most coveted targets in fantasy drafts heading into the 2024 season.

Nacua wasn't expected to do much from a fantasy perspective Sunday after the Rams announced that they would be removing the breakout star from the contest once he gained 29 yards to set the new rookie all-time record for receiving yards in a single season. The BYU product came one yard shy of Bill Groman's previous mark of 1,473 yards (1960) when he caught a 19-yard touchdown to cap off Los Angeles' opening drive Sunday. Nacua didn't see another target until the start of the third quarter when he railed off a pair of short receptions to clinch -- not one, but two -- NFL rookie records after also passing Jaylen Waddle's 104 receptions set in 2021. Nacua's final rookie slash line of 105/1,486/6 is more than the Rams or any front office could have hoped for from a fifth-round selection. The 23-year-old can continue shattering expectations for the Rams in the upcoming wild-card round of the playoffs.

The Rams plan to remove Nacua from Sunday's game against the 49ers once he records 29 receiving yards, which would allow him to break the single-season rookie receiving record of 1,473 yards, Jay Glazer reported on "Fox NFL Sunday."

Nacua recorded five receptions on eight targets for 50 yards in Sunday's 28-20 win over the Commanders. He added two rushes for three yards.

Nacua matched Cooper Kupp for the team lead in targets, though his inconsistent production of late continued. His longest catch of the day went for 18 yards, but three of his five receptions went for single-digit yard gains. Overall, Nacua has 50 or fewer yards in four of his last seven games, though he's reached at least 70 yards in his three other contests in that span.

Nacua recorded five receptions on eight targets for 84 yards in Sunday's 37-31 loss to the Ravens. He added one rush for six yards.

Nacua had a solid eight targets in the loss, though he was surprisingly given fewer opportunities than Demarcus Robinson. Nevertheless, he had a solid impact on the game, accounting for long gains of 34 and 23 yards. All told, Nacua now has at least 70 receiving yards in three of his four games since the Rams' Week 10 bye.

The reports from OTAs seem reassuring for fantasy managers, however, as Nacua has been earning accolades from both Cooper Kupp and coach Sean McVay for his work ethic, his ability to adapt to the pro level, and his conscientiousness. McVay added, "He's a guy that we're expecting him to come in, expecting him to be able to contribute and compete," giving credence to Nacua still being able to earn a role on offense within the tier of wideouts behind Kupp and Van Jefferson, which include Ben Skowronek, Tutu Atwell, and the aforementioned Johnson and Robinson.

The Rams took Nacua in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, 177th overall.

He showed the ability to serve as both a deep threat and possession receiver, but he lacks the athleticism desired for an NFL receiver.
