Rondale Moore Injury News & Updates
Keep up with the latest injuries from the Vikings vs Packers game on Sunday with our National Football League injury report.Aug 12, 2025
Placed on IR
The Vikings placed Moore (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Moore suffered a season-ending knee injury for the second summer in a row, after missing all of 2024 with the Falcons. He's scheduled for free agency again next offseason but will first face a lengthy rehab process before he can attempt to resume his career in 2026.
Aug 12, 2025
Out for season
Moore (knee) will miss the entire 2025 season, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It's his second season-ending knee injury in as many summers, after Moore missed all of 2024 with the Falcons. He's only 25 years old but faces a tough path ahead to continue his football career, having last played in a regular-season game in 2023.
Aug 9, 2025
Slated for MRI
Moore has a "pretty significant" left knee injury, according to head coach Kevin O'Connell, and will have an MRI on Sunday, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore was hurt on a punt return during the second quarter of Saturday's preseason contest against Houston. The veteran wideout was competing for a role as the Vikings' primary punt returner as well as for a depth wideout spot, but an extended absence could obviously impact those aspirations. Moore's MRI should provided more clarity about the specifics of his injury and a timeline for his potential return.
Aug 9, 2025
Carted off with leg injury
Moore suffered an apparent lower left leg injury on a punt return and was carted off during the second quarter of Saturday's preseason game against Houston, Ben Goessling of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore is competing for the punt return and depth receiver role with the Vikings, but it looks like he suffered a significant injury in the team's first preseason game.
Jul 24, 2025
Healthy for camp
Moore is healthy for training camp and competing for work as a punt returner, Mark Craig of The Star Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
The 2021 second-round pick never panned out as a starting wide receiver, but he'll try to continue his career as a return specialist and depth wideout after a non-contact knee injury last summer cost him the entire 2024 campaign. The Vikings return starting wideouts Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and Jalen Nailor, with rookie third-round pick Tai Felton giving the team a fourth roster lock at the position. That likely leaves two spots up for grabs, with special teams potentially a big factor in determining them.
Jun 6, 2025
Participating in OTAs
Moore (knee) has been an on-field participant at OTAs, per the Vikings' official site.
ANALYSIS
Moore appears healthy as he begins work to carve out a depth role in Minnesota's wide receiver corps, where Jalen Nailor appears fairly secure as the No. 3 receiver behind Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. A non-contact knee injury sustained last August forced Moore to spend the entire 2024 season, his first and only in Atlanta, on IR. Across three years and 39 regular-season games with Arizona, the 2021 second-rounder combined for 135 catches for 1,201 yards and three touchdowns, plus 52 carries for 249 rushing yards. If Moore's recovery hasn't impacted his burst, his unusual skill set could find a place in head coach Kevin O'Connell's offense.

Finds new home in Minnesota
The Vikings signed Moore (knee) on Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Moore missed the entire 2024 season with a non-contact knee injury he suffered in a joint practice with the Dolphins last August. He was a second-round pick by the Cardinals in 2021 and appeared in 39 games for the team across three seasons, catching 135 passes for 1,201 yards and three touchdowns. In Minnesota, Moore will look to compete with Jalen Nailor for a depth job behind Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison.
Aug 8, 2024
Out for the season
The Falcons placed Moore (knee) on injured reserve Thursday, ruling him out for the entire 2024 campaign, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore was carted off the field due to what was reported as a non-contact knee injury during Wednesday's joint practice with the Dolphins, and Adam Schefter of ESPN confirms that the issue is severe enough to rule him out for the year. It's brutal timing for the 2021 second-round pick, who was traded to Atlanta earlier this offseason and had an opportunity to revitalize his career under new Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson. Moore will now turn his attention toward recovering for the 2025 season, while Ray-Ray McCloud now seems to have a clearer path to the No. 3 wide receiver spot.
Aug 7, 2024
Carted off with non-contact injury
Smith (knee) was carted off the field at Wednesday's practice due to a non-contact knee injury, Josh Kendall of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore's injury caused Wednesday's joint session of Falcons-Dolphins practice to be called early, and it appears that the issue could be severe. That would be brutal news for the 2021 second-round pick, who has spent training camp mostly working with the second-string offense and is competing to carve out a role on offense behind top wideouts Drake London and Darnell Mooney. If Moore's injury indeed requires he spend substantial time sidelined, Ray-Ray McCloud will be left with almost no competition for the No. 3 wide receiver spot.
Jul 29, 2024
Mostly repping with backups
Ray-Ray McCloud seems to have the "inside track" over Moore to be Atlanta's slot receiver, Marc Raimondi of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
McCloud got a lot of first-team snaps throughout the offseason program and is now getting most of the slot work with Kirk Cousins and the starting offense during the first week of training camp. Moore, meanwhile, reportedly has been one of Michael Penix's favorite targets on the second-string offense, which suggests the 5-foot-7 receiver is at least making a case to earn more reps with the starters. There's still plenty of time for things to change, but it's not a great sign for Moore that he's currently behind a veteran journeyman like McCloud who is mostly known for returning punts and kicks.
Mar 14, 2024
Headed to Atlanta
The Cardinals are slated to trade Moore to the Falcons in exchange for Desmond Ridder, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Per Pelissero, this is a one for one player deal, with Ridder headed to Arizona to back up signal caller Kyler Murray, and Moore on his way to Atlanta to bolster the team's wideout corps. In 17 regular-season games for the Cardinals in 2023, Moore caught 40 of his 62 targets for 352 yards and one touchdown and logged 28 carries for 178 yards and another score. In his new locale, the 2021 second-rounder should have a chance serve as a key target for new QB Kirk Cousins, alongside fellow WRs Drake London and Darnell Mooney. In that context, Moore has a chance to re-emerge on the fantasy radar in deeper formats this coming season.
Feb 3, 2024
Makes two end-zone visits in 2023
Moore gathered in 40 of 62 targets for 352 yards and one touchdown and took 28 carries for 178 yards and another touchdown in 17 games in the 2023 campaign.
ANALYSIS
For the first time in his three-year career, Moore logged a full 17-game slate, and he managed career highs in yards from scrimmage (530) and TDs (two) while working with three different signal-callers. Having said that, he had similar success with No. 1 Kyler Murray back under center than he did prior to Week 10, notching 31.5 total yards per game after that versus 30.9 before then. Moore has one year remaining on his rookie deal, and offseason moves will determine where the 2021 second-rounder stands in the WR pecking order next season.
Jan 2, 2024
Notches 34 total yards in Week 17
Moore caught three of four passes for 26 yards and had two carries for eight yards during Sunday's 35-31 win at Philadelphia.
ANALYSIS
Moore hasn't been lacking for snaps this season, earning at least a 60 percent share in 14 of 16 games. But his output has been depressed, to say the least, as evidenced by just five outings with 40-plus yards from scrimmage. With Kyler Murray directing the offense since Week 10 and multiple Cardinals WRs dealing with injuries during that span, Moore hasn't made much of a mark in box scores, totaling 16 catches (on 24 targets), six carries, 216 total yards and one receiving TD in seven contests. Moore will seek a more appealing performance Sunday against a Seahawks defense that has conceded the eighth-most receptions (210) to opposing wide receivers in 16 games on the campaign.
Dec 18, 2023
Gains eight yards on three touches
Moore caught two of three targets for five yards and had one rushing attempt for three yards in Sunday's 45-29 loss to San Francisco.
ANALYSIS
Arizona's receiving corps received healthy reinforcements coming out of the bye week, but Moore's role remained constant the same way it did while his teammates were on the shelf. The three combined touches were the most for the utility wideout since Week 11 at Houston. Moore will struggle to generate fantasy value on so few touches when the Cardinals take on the Bears next Sunday.
Dec 6, 2023
One grab in loss
Moore secured one of his two targets for six yards in Sunday's 24-10 win over the Steelers.
ANALYSIS
Even with fellow wideout Michael Wilson (shoulder) sidelined for the third straight week, Moore was an afterthought in the Cardinals' offensive plans Sunday. The veteran averaged a 75 percent offensive snap share in the previous two contests, but he saw his playing time reduced to a 52 percent share in Week 13. Moore should continue to find it difficult to produce effectively for fantasy purposes with his inconsistent usage. The Cardinals enter their bye in Week 14 before hosting the 49ers on Dec. 17.
Nov 29, 2023
Another lacking performance
Moore recorded two catches (on three targets) for 35 yards during Sunday's 37-14 loss to the Rams.
ANALYSIS
With Michael Wilson (shoulder) sidelined for a second consecutive game, Moore had no problem racking up offensive snaps (53 of 71), which fell behind Marquise Brown (62) and Greg Dortch (54) and well ahead of Andre Baccelllia (eight) and Zach Pascal (seven). But Moore again fell shy of 40 yards from scrimmage for the eighth time in 12 appearances this season, leaving him with averages of 4.3 touches for 34.2 total yards per game and two total TDs overall. Whenever Wilson returns to the lineup, Moore may be on the outside looking in to holding much sway in the Cardinals offense.
Nov 21, 2023
Scores long TD on Sunday
Moore gathered in his only target for a 48-yard touchdown and tallied two carries for six yards during Sunday's 21-16 loss at Houston.
ANALYSIS
The Cardinals opened the scoring just 1:32 into the first quarter Sunday when quarterback Kyler Murray hit a streaking Moore for the wide receiver's longest catch of the campaign to date. Thereafter, though, Moore didn't see any looks in the passing game, marking the second time in 11 games that he earned only one target. He'll now turn his focus to Sunday's matchup with a Rams defense that he went for 26 yards from scrimmage on seven touches back in Week 6.
Nov 12, 2023
Notches season-high five catches
Moore recorded five catches (on eight targets) for 43 yards during Sunday's 25-23 victory versus the Falcons.
ANALYSIS
With Kyler Murray (knee) back in action for the first time in 11 months, Moore was able to tally season highs in receptions, targets and receiving yards in the Cardinals' 10th game of the campaign. But for the third time this season, Moore didn't have a carry after having at least two in the other seven contests, which may become the norm with running back James Conner (knee) also in the fold. Still, with Murray directing the offense, Moore may have a path for more consistent results on a weekly basis, continuing next Sunday in Houston.
Nov 7, 2023
Musters eight total yards in Week 9
Moore recorded one catch (on two targets) for five yards and four carries for three yards during Sunday's 27-0 loss at Cleveland.
ANALYSIS
In a game in which the Cardinals had a paltry 58 net yards of offense, it was no surprise that Moore wasn't able to do much on his typical number of touches (five) and snap share (67 percent). On the season, he's averaging 4.6 touches for 30.9 yards from scrimmage per game, which are numbers he may be able to hit once Kyler Murray (knee) is back from injured reserve. That may happen Sunday against the Falcons, so if Murray supplants rookie fifth-rounder Clayton Tune as Arizona's Week 10 starting quarterback, Moore should be in a better position to produce.
Oct 30, 2023
Splits rushing and receiving duties
Moore had two rushing attempts for 11 yards and caught two of three targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 31-24 loss to Baltimore.
ANALYSIS
Moore's role has remained relatively unchanged as we near the midpoint of the season. The dual-threat is averaging 2.4 receptions and 2.1 carries through eight games this season, but he has struggled generate consistent results in such a small role on offense. With just one touchdown through eight weeks, there isn't much upside to playing Moore against a tough Browns' defense next Sunday.
Oct 22, 2023
Gains 26 yards on six touches
Moore caught two of four targets for two yards and rushed four times for 24 yards in Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
Moore saw his usual allotment of combined rushes and receptions, but he failed to break off a big play and finished with another underwhelming fantasy line. The dual-threat wideout has been more effective on the ground (15-136-1) than he has operating out of the slot for Arizona this season (17-113-0). Moore's current value is limited to deeper leagues heading into next Sunday's matchup against Baltimore.
Oct 16, 2023
Little output on seven touches
Moore tallied four catches (on seven targets) for 30 yards and three rushes for minus-4 yards during Sunday's 26-9 loss at the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Moore's target total was a season high, and his carry count matched his most on the campaign. Having said that, he wasn't efficient with those looks on his way to his third-fewest yards from scrimmage in six games this year. Prior to Sunday's contest, he was averaging a robust 14.5 yards per carry, so he likely will continue to get opportunities in that realm as long as the Cardinals' top running back James Conner (knee) is on IR. Moore will aim to bounce back Week 7 against a Seahawks defense that has given up the sixth-most catches (90) and third-most TD grabs (seven) to opposing wide receivers in five games this season.
Oct 8, 2023
Season-best yardage in loss
Moore caught three of five targets for 26 yards and added 50 rushing yards on three carries in Sunday's 34-20 loss to the Bengals.
ANALYSIS
The 76 scrimmage yards were a season high for the third-year wideout, and 41 of his rushing yards came on a third-quarter carry on a direct snap after James Conner (knee) had left the game. Should Conner be sidelined in Week 6 against the Rams, Moore could see more work out of the backfield with undrafted rookie Emari Demercado stepping into the starting RB role.
Oct 4, 2023
Held catchless in loss
Moore failed to secure both of his targets in Sunday's 35-16 loss to the 49ers.
ANALYSIS
Despite playing the second-most offensive snaps of any Cardinals receiver Sunday, Moore was unable to have any impact on the game from a production standpoint. The veteran wideout was a complete non-factor, being held without a catch for the first time this season. Moore's limited volume make him difficult to trust for fantasy purposes. The 23-year-old will look to bounce back, however, when the Cardinals host the Bengals in Week 5.
Sep 25, 2023
Runs for TD in Week 3 win
Moore caught four of six targets for eight yards and carried the ball three times for 54 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-16 win over the Cowboys.
ANALYSIS
The speedy wideout caught the Dallas defense napping when he dashed for a 45-yard TD in the second quarter, the first rushing touchdown of his NFL career. Moore doubled his catch total on the season as well, albeit without contributing much yardage through the air, and while his versatile usage is intriguing from a fantasy perspective, he'll need to begin seeing more volume to be a reliable option outside of best-ball formats. Moore faces a daunting matchup in Week 4 against an elite 49ers defense that's used to seeing the likes of Deebo Samuel line up in the backfield during practice.
Sep 20, 2023
Quiet in loss
Moore secured his only target for 14 yards in Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Giants.
ANALYSIS
Moore turned in another disappointing performance in Week 2, as QB Joshua Dobbs only looked his way once in the contest. The third-year wideout has yet to see enough volume to sustain fantasy relevance in the Cardinals' below average passing attack. Nonetheless, Moore will look to get more involved going forward as Dobbs becomes more familiar with the offense. Things won't get much easier in Week 3, however, as the Cardinals are set to host the Cowboys and their formidable defense.
Sep 10, 2023
Three catches in loss
Moore caught three of three targets for 33 yards and gained 12 rushing yards on two carries in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Commanders.
ANALYSIS
Arizona's offense couldn't get much going -- the team's only TD was produced by the defense on a second-quarter fumble recovery -- which gave Moore few opportunities to showcase his speed, but he did have the team's longest gain of the day with a 31-yard reception in the first quarter. As QB Joshua Dobbs gets more familiar with the playbook, things could open up a little for the Cardinals' wideouts, but this still figures to be one of the least potent passing games in the NFL this season. Moore will try to make a bigger impact in Week 2 against the Giants.
Aug 20, 2023
Three touches in preseason loss
Moore brought in two of three targets for seven yards and rushed once for three yards in the Cardinals' 38-10 preseason loss to the Chiefs on Saturday night.
ANALYSIS
Moore opened the game with the rest of the Cardinals' starters and got some solid work in before exiting. The promising third-year wideout is aiming for a much healthier season in 2023 after being limited to eight games a year ago, and the Cardinals are counting on Moore to help fill the significant vacuum created by the departure of DeAndre Hopkins during the coming campaign.
Aug 12, 2023
Logs catch in return
Moore (groin/finger) made a successful recovery from multiple surgeries this offseason and caught one of two targets for 13 yards in Friday's preseason win over Denver.
ANALYSIS
Moore's return to action was a welcomed one for the Cardinals, who have been decimated by injury in recent years. So their fans got some positive news ahead of Week 1 for once. From a fantasy perspective, almost all key receivers should be downgraded when Colt McCoy starts in place of Kyler Murray. DeAndre Hopkins' departure opened up a heap of targets, so Moore and fellow starter Marquise Brown (undisclosed) could experience noticeable bumps in volume/usage this season.
May 10, 2023
Participates in minicamp
Moore (groin) participated in voluntary veteran minicamp at the end of April, the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore underwent surgeries on his core and pinky finger after the Cardinals placed him on injured reserve in mid-December. He's at least 3-to-4 months removed from the procedures at this point and should be ready for the more substantiative portion of the offseason program between mid-May and mid-June. With DeAndre Hopkins and Marquise Brown still on Arizona's roster, Moore seemingly fits in as the No. 3 receiver ahead of his age-23 season. The 2021 second-round pick took on a larger role per-game last year, averaging seven targets in his eight games en route to a 41-141-1 receiving line and 5.5 average depth of target. As a rookie in 2021l, Moore averaged 4.6 targets and 1.3 carries for 36.5 yards per game while seeing 61 percent of his passes behind the line of scrimmage (1.4 aDOT).

Provides update on health
Moore told Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com on Friday that he underwent surgeries on both sides of his groin to repair a sports hernia and also on his pinky finger since the Cardinals placed him on injured reserve on Dec. 14.
ANALYSIS
Moore dealt with hamstring, knee, hand and groin injuries during his second pro campaign, which limited him to a 41-414-1 line on 56 targets to go with six carries for minus-5 yards in eight appearances. With some clarity regarding the aforementioned health concerns, he likely remains in recovery mode in the early stages of the offseason. Moore, a 2021 second-round pick, will aim to be 100 percent by the start of the offseason program this spring.

Shut down for season
Arizona placed Moore (groin) on injured reserve Wednesday, ending his season, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore's recovery from a groin injury apparently isn't going well, and his fantasy value likely would have taken a hit even if he was healthy enough to come back late in the season, given that DeAndre Hopkins and Marquise Brown are available to soak targets from new starting quarterback Colt McCoy while Kyler Murray (knee) is out for the final four contests. Moore submitted some strong performances in his second NFL season, in between the hamstring injury that cost him Weeks 1 through 3 and the groin issue that's now sidelined him since Week 11. The 2021 second-round pick averaged 5.9 catches for 59.1 yards in a seven-game stretch Weeks 4 through 10, right before he suffered the season-ending injury. Moore should be a big part of the Arizona offense next season, be it under head coach Kliff Kingsbury's direction or someone else's.
Dec 10, 2022
Out against New England
Moore (groin) will not play Monday against the Patriots, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Despite a Week 13 bye, Moore never managed to practice this week and subsequently will miss his second consecutive game. In Moore's absence, expect the offense to run through the dynamic combo of DeAndre Hopkins and Marquise Brown with A.J. Green and Greg Dortch pitching in.
Dec 9, 2022
Idle for another practice
Moore (groin) didn't practice Friday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Even with the benefit of a Week 13 bye coupled with a longer turnaround than usual for Week 14 with the Cardinals hosting the Patriots on Monday night, Moore doesn't seem to have made any tangible progress in his recovery from the groin injury he suffered early in the Week 11 loss to the 49ers. Unless Moore is able to get back on the field in some capacity Saturday for the Cardinals' final practice session of the week, he'll likely miss his second straight game Monday.
Dec 8, 2022
Still not practicing
Moore (groin) didn't practice Thursday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The Cardinals are coming off their bye week, but Moore has yet to mix into drills since injuring his groin Week 11 against the 49ers. Meanwhile, DeAndre Hopkins also missed Thursday's session due to an illness, leaving Marquise Brown, A.J. Green, Greg Dortch (thumb) and Robbie Anderson as the team's current healthy options at wide receiver. Moore will have two more opportunities to practice this week before Arizona potentially makes a ruling on his status for Monday's game versus the Patriots.
Dec 8, 2022
Not spotted Thursday
Moore (groin) wasn't present at the open portion of Thursday's practice, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
On Tuesday, coach Kliff Kingsbury said he was hopeful Moore would be able to out an end to a one-game absence Monday versus the Patriots, but the wide receiver hasn't been mixed into drills yet this week, at least in front of the media. The Cardinals will post their first injury report of Week 14 on Thursday, at which point it'll become clear whether or not Moore is making progress through his groin issue.
Dec 7, 2022
Not seen at practice
Moore (groin) doesn't appear to be practicing Wednesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Coming out of a bye, coach Kliff Kingsbury said Tuesday that he hopes Moore can return for Monday's against New England. The Cardinals will release their first official injury report Thursday, giving Moore three additional chances to practice before the game. Greg Dortch (thumb) could fill in as the No. 3 receiver if Moore isn't ready to face the Pats on Monday.
Dec 6, 2022
Chance to return in Week 14
Coach Kliff Kingsbury said Tuesday that he hopes Moore (groin) will be able to return to action Monday against the Patriots, Jose M. Romero of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
With the help of a Week 13 bye, Moore may miss only one game as a result of the groin injury that he suffered early in a Week 11 loss to the 49ers. That said, the Cardinals aren't required to post an injury report before Thursday, so his potential activity level won't be known until then. If Moore does enough to be available Week 14, Arizona will have its top three wide receivers (also, DeAndre Hopkins and Marquise Brown) active in the same game for the first time this season.
Nov 25, 2022
Out this week
Moore (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The second-year pro was injured on his second snaps of the Week 11 loss to San Francisco and now has been ruled out for Arizona' final game before a Week 12 bye. Greg Dortch, who replaced Moore in the slot during Monday's loss, is listed as questionable with a thumb injury, while coach Kliff Kingsbury said he expects Marquise Brown (foot) to be activated from injured reserve. Moore's target volume could take a hit if Brown and DeAndre Hopkins both are available by the time he's healthy again.
Nov 24, 2022
Another DNP on Thursday
Moore (groin) didn't participate in Thursday's walkthrough, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Despite the Cardinals not holding an actual practice so far this week, Moore wouldn't have take part if the team had due to the groin injury that forced him out of Monday's loss to the 49ers in Mexico City after two offensive snaps. Coach Kliff Kingsbury is of the belief that Moore will need "at least a week" away from the field, per Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com, so Arizona may make a ruling on his availability for a Week 12 matchup with the Chargers as soon as Friday. With Greg Dortch (thumb) also a DNP on Wednesday and Thursday and Marquise Brown (foot) uncertain to be activated from IR ahead of Sunday's game, DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Green and Robbie Anderson currently are the healthy options at wide receiver for the Cards.
Nov 23, 2022
DNP on Wednesday's estimate
Moore (groin) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore lasted just two plays during Monday's loss to the 49ers in Mexico City before departing due to a groin injury. Speaking to the media Wednesday, coach Kliff Kingsbury told Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com that Moore will require "at least a week" on the sideline, so the second-year wide receiver doesn't seem like a candidate to play Sunday versus the Chargers. If that comes to pass, the Cardinals also may be without Greg Dortch (thumb), while Marquise Brown (foot) will be on a pitch count if the team activates him from IR. As such, DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Green, Robbie Anderson and Brown would comprise the receiving corps.
Nov 21, 2022
Hurts groin on MNF
Moore (groin) is questionable to return to Monday's game against the 49ers, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore got the ball on Arizona's first offensive play and came up limping after getting tackled for a loss of six yards. The slick and rainy conditions in Mexico City may have factored into the injury, as there was no indication that Moore was hurt coming into the game.
Nov 13, 2022
Shines in Week 10 win
Moore caught nine of 13 targets for 94 yards in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Despite the fact that Colt McCoy was at quarterback for the Cardinals instead of Kyler Murray (hamstring) -- or maybe because of it -- Moore set new season highs in targets, catches and yards in an impressive performance highlighted by a dazzling fourth-down grab along the sideline in the fourth quarter that helped set up Arizona's final TD of the afternoon. It's not yet clear if Murray will be back under center in Week 11, but whoever is throwing the ball to him, Moore will take plenty of confidence into a key NFC West battle with the 49ers.
Nov 10, 2022
Back to full practice
Moore (hand) practiced fully Thursday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore had a cap on his reps at Wednesday's walkthrough, but that clearly was a precautionary measure after he handled every rep in a normal session one day later. While Moore's status has cleared up for a Week 10 game at the Rams, the standing of quarterback Kyler Murray has not, as he followed a DNP on Wednesday with a limited showing Thursday. If Murray ditches his designation, be it on Friday's injury report or ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, Moore again should be heavily involved in the Cardinals offense. Since Marquise Brown (foot) hit IR after Week 6, Moore has reeled in 16 of 20 targets for 192 yards and one touchdown and recorded two carries for 12 yards over the last three contests.
Nov 9, 2022
Tending to hand injury
Moore was limited by a hand injury at Wednesday's walkthrough, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore has been looked at early and often by quarterback Kyler Murray the last two games, with the second-year wide receiver combining for 15 catches (on 18 targets) for 161 yards and one touchdown and two carries for 12 yards. Now, both players are tending to health concerns, but Murray sat out Wednesday due to a hamstring issue. Consequently, the combo should be monitored as the week goes on to gain clarity on whether or not the connection will continue Sunday at the Rams.
Nov 6, 2022
Leading receiver in loss
Moore caught eight of 10 targets for 69 yards in Sunday's 31-21 loss to the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
The second-year wideout set a new season high in receptions while leading Arizona in receiving yards on the afternoon. Moore has seen at least eight targets in four of the last five games, giving him a solid floor heading into a Week 10 road matchup against the Rams.
Oct 30, 2022
Season-high receiving yardage tally
Moore secured seven of eight targets for 92 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals' 34-26 loss to the Vikings on Sunday. He also rushed twice for 12 yards.
ANALYSIS
Moore's reception, receiving yardage and target totals were all second to those of DeAndre Hopkins (12-159 on 14 targets), with the second-year wideout putting together his highest yardage total of the season as well. Moore now has at least six catches in three of his past four games, and he should continue benefitting from the combination of the absence of Marquise Brown (IR-foot) and the lack of production from Arizona's other complementary receivers in a Week 9 home matchup against the Seahawks.
Oct 22, 2022
Makes one catch in Week 7
Moore caught one of two targets for 31 yards during Thursday's 42-34 win versus the Saints.
ANALYSIS
He was on the receiving end of Kyler Murray's first pass of the game, but only one of the quarterback's final 28 throws went Moore's way. While the Cardinals swapped in DeAndre Hopkins for Marquise Brown (foot) in the receiving corps, Moore logged a typical 88 percent of the offensive snaps, but his output in four appearances this season has wavered between one and nine touches and seven to 61 yards from scrimmage in any given week. Moore should continue to be heavily utilized in Arizona's offense moving forward, but it's tough to predict when consistent production will follow, especially with Robbie Anderson also new to the mix.
Oct 17, 2022
Heavily involved
Moore recorded six receptions on 10 targets for 49 yards in Sunday's 19-9 loss to the Seahawks.
ANALYSIS
Moore tied for the team lead in targets with Zach Ertz, though Marquise Brown (ankle) was forced to exit the game prematurely. As has typically been the case, Moore worked primarily in the short areas of the field. However, he did rack up yards after the catch on two occasions to tally receptions of 26 and 16 yards. Moore should remain heavily involved in the offense even with the return of DeAndre Hopkins (suspension) so long as Marquise Brown (ankle) is forced to miss Thursday's Week 7 matchup against the Saints.
Oct 9, 2022
Efficient underneath
Moore caught seven passes for 68 yards on eight targets against Philadelphia on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Moore's two carries regrettably went for minus-7 yards, but it was still good to see the second-year wideout claim substantial usage in the Arizona offense after hamstring and knee issues tanked his first four weeks of the 2022 season. Moore and the Cardinals should be able to move the ball in Week 6, when Arizona faces a Seattle defense that seems unable to stop anyone.
Oct 9, 2022
Active in Week 5
Moore (knee) is active for Sunday's game versus the Eagles, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore's season debut was delayed to last Sunday in Carolina due to a hamstring injury. He mostly was quiet in that contest, gathering in three of five targets for 11 yards and losing four yards on his only carry while handling 84 percent of the offensive snaps. During Week 5 prep, he made an appearance on the practice report Thursday and proceeded to log a pair of limited showings to cap it. While he was deemed a game-time decision, Moore will be out there for a Cardinals receiving corps that remains without DeAndre Hopkins (suspension) and Antoine Wesley (hip, IR).
Oct 9, 2022
Expected to be available Sunday
Moore (knee), who's is listed as questionable, is expected to play Sunday against the Eagles, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore was sidelined for the first three games of the campaign due to a hamstring injury but made his season debut in Week 4, playing 86 percent of the team's offensive snaps. However, he landed back on the injury report Thursday with a knee issue and was limited during the final two practices ahead of Week 5. Regardless, he appears in line to be available for a second straight contest, but fantasy managers should still confirm his status ahead of Sunday's 4:25 PM ET kickoff.
Oct 7, 2022
Headed for game-time decision
Coach Kliff Kingsbury said Friday that Moore (knee) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup with Philadelphia, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore missed the first three games of the season with a hamstring injury before playing 86 percent of snaps in the Week 6 win over Carolina. Any enthusiasm about the playing time is dampened by lackluster production (four touches for seven yards) and now the possibility of missing a game with a knee injury. Greg Dortch is first among the likely beneficiaries of extra snaps/targets in the event Moore is inactive, while Marquise Brown (foot) is expected to play and is locked in for a heavy workload regardless.
Oct 6, 2022
Limited by knee Thursday
Moore (knee) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore didn't make his first appearance of the season until this past Sunday at Carolina due to a lingering hamstring issue. After avoiding the injury report entirely to begin Week 5 prep, he showed up Thursday with a knee concern. Midweek additions can raise the alarm, but there's no indication yet from the Cardinals that anything serious is impacting the second-year wide receiver. Moore's status could be cleared up as soon as the release of Friday's report.
Oct 2, 2022
Quiet in 2022 debut
Moore caught three of five targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 26-16 win over the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
Making his season debut after missing the first three games with a hamstring issue, Moore saw much the same usage he did as a rookie last year, getting targeted almost exclusively on receiver screens, and his longest reception went for only seven yards. The 2021 second-round pick could be more involved in Week 5, but he'll face a tough matchup against the undefeated Eagles.
Oct 2, 2022
Making season debut
Moore (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game at Carolina.
ANALYSIS
Moore's season debut was delayed due to a hamstring injury that he suffered in advance of Week 1, but after putting together limited sessions Wednesday through Friday, he's been cleared to suit up Week 4. In a receiving corps that will be without DeAndre Hopkins (suspension) and A.J. Green (knee), Moore still may not be more than the Cardinals' No. 3 wide receiver Sunday behind Marquise Brown (foot) and Greg Dortch, who have combined for 42 targets the last two contests.
Oct 1, 2022
Season debut in sight
Moore (hamstring), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Panthers, is expected to be available, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
This seemed to be the obvious course after Moore was able to practice on multiple occasions this week, but the status of the second-year receiver is all the more important given Marquise Brown (foot) appeared on the injury report Friday and the likes of Antoine Wesley (hip) and A.J. Green (knee) still remain out. Fantasy managers should at least stay tuned to the status of Moore leading up to Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff in case information leaks regarding the second-round pick playing on a snap count.
Sep 30, 2022
Season debut possible Sunday
Moore (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest in Carolina, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Since injuring his hamstring during Week 1 prep, Moore didn't practice until this week, and his ability to string together three consecutive capped sessions provides a sense of optimism about his ability to make his season debut this weekend. He even told Bob McManaman of the Arizona Republic on Thursday that he's "excited to be back, healthy and ready to compete." That doesn't necessarily mean Moore is in the clear, but his status will be confirmed, one way or another, about 90 minutes before Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. If he's able to suit up, the second-year pro could be poised for a fair amount of work right away with DeAndre Hopkins (suspension), A.J. Green (knee) and Antoine Wesley (hip, IR) unavailable and Marquise Brown (rest/foot) questionable to play.
Sep 29, 2022
Notches another limited practice
Moore (hamstring) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore injured his hamstring in the second practice of Week 1 prep and has yet to suit up in any of the Cardinals' three games on the campaign. He began inching toward a return this week with back-to-back capped sessions, which comes on the heels of coach Kliff Kingsbury telling Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com last Friday that he expected Moore to make his season debut in Week 4 or 5. If he's able to play Sunday in Carolina, Moore may be on a snap count, though that could depend on the state of Arizona's receiving corps with DeAndre Hopkins suspended, A.J. Green (knee) trending toward an absence and Antoine Wesley (hip) on injured reserve.
Sep 28, 2022
Limited in return to practice
Moore (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Coach Kliff Kingsbury said Wednesday that he's hopeful Moore can play Sunday against the Panthers, though he might have a limited role after missing practice and games for the past month. Last week, Kingsbury said Moore would definitely be back for Week 5 if not Week 4, and it does seem the second-year receiver is making progress, albeit slowly. Given their injury/suspension issues at wide receiver, the Cardinals should have a role for Moore whenever he's ready to play.
Sep 23, 2022
Should be ready Week 4/5
Coach Kliff Kingsbury expects Moore (hamstring) to be ready for Week 4 or 5, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
While already ruled out for Week 3, missing a third straight game, the second-year wideout apparently has made enough progress to inspire a guarantee from Kingsbury, who said Moore will be back for Week 5 against Philadelphia if he doesn't return Week 4 against Carolina. The Cardinals are set to play a third straight game without Moore, DeAndre Hopkins (suspended through Week 6) and Antoine Wesley (IR - hip) this Sunday against the Rams, leaving Marquise Brown, A.J. Green and Greg Dortch as the top three WRs again.
Sep 23, 2022
Won't play Sunday
Coach Kliff Kingsbury relayed Friday that Moore (hamstring) will be out for Sunday's game against the Rams, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore, who hasn't practiced since hurting his hamstring Sept. 8, is thus slated to miss a third straight game to begin the season. In his continued absence, Marquise Brown, A.J. Green and Greg Dortch are on track to lead the Cardinals' wide receiver corps Sunday versus Los Angeles. Per Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com, when asked when Moore might return to action, Kingsbury replied "I'm hoping within the next two weeks he'll play. If not next week, I would guarantee the game after."
Sep 22, 2022
Still sidelined at practice
Moore (hamstring) officially didn't practice Thursday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
According to Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site, Moore was seen working off to the side in the second session of Week 3 prep, but the second-year wide receiver again went down as a non-participant. Moore hasn't practiced since hurting his hamstring Sept. 8, and he seemingly is in danger of missing a third straight game to begin the campaign. Friday's injury report may provide clarity, one way or another, about his ability to play Sunday versus the Rams.
Sep 22, 2022
Works on the side Thursday
Moore (hamstring) worked on the side during Thursday's practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
At this stage, Moore -- who has missed the first two games of the season -- looks iffy for Sunday's game against the Rams, though if he manages to increase his practice activity Friday, he could head into the weekend with a chance to play in Week 3. If Moore remains sidelined this weekend, however, Marquise Brown, A.J. Green and Greg Dortch would be in line to lead the Cardinals' wide receiver corps versus Los Angeles.
Sep 21, 2022
Still not practicing
Moore (hamstring) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Since injuring his hamstring Sept. 8, Moore hasn't practiced and has missed the first two games of the season. Coach Kliff Kingsbury has called Moore day-to-day in back-to-back weeks, but the second-year wide receiver's lack of on-field work doesn't reflect that sentiment. Still, Moore has two more chances to prove his health before the Cardinals potentially make a ruling on his availability for Sunday's game versus the Rams.
Sep 21, 2022
Called day-to-day
Coach Kliff Kingsbury said Wednesday that Moore (hamstring) is day-to-day, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore is still looking to make his 2022 debut, having sat out Arizona's first two games due to a lingering hamstring issue. Per Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com, Moore doesn't appear to be participating in Wednesday's practice. Greg Dortch has been the main beneficiary of increased opportunities with Moore and Andy Isabella (hamstring) sidelined.
Sep 18, 2022
Could miss multiple weeks
Moore (hamstring) could be out for a few more weeks, but will avoid IR, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore has already been ruled out for Sunday's game against Las Vegas, but it sounds like he will miss at least one more game according to this report. With Andy Isabella (hamstring) also ruled out Sunday, there will be no shortage of snaps available to Marquise Brown, A.J. Green and Greg Dortch.
Sep 16, 2022
Out again this week
Moore (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Las Vegas, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
With Andy Isabella (hamstring) also ruled out, there will be no shortage of snaps available to Marquise Brown, A.J. Green and Greg Dortch -- a trio that combined for 19 targets but only 119 yards in a season-opening loss to Kansas City. Moore is missing out on his best opportunity for a second-year breakout, as targets could be harder to come by late in the season if Brown, DeAndre Hopkins (suspension) and TE Zach Ertz are all available at the same time.
Sep 15, 2022
Not practicing again
Moore (hamstring) isn't participating in Thursday's practice, Jose M. Romero of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
He'll be listed as a non-participant in practice for the second day in a row, which doesn't bode well for Moore's early chances of avoiding a second straight placement on the inactive list to begin the season. Meanwhile, depth wideout Andy Isabella (back) was also sidelined for a second straight practice Thursday, so if both he and Moore aren't available Sunday versus the Raiders, the Cardinals could have to turn to Andre Baccellia or depth tight end Stephen Anderson to log more reps at receiver behind Marquise Brown, A.J. Green and Greg Dortch.
Sep 14, 2022
DNP on Wednesday
Moore (hamstring) was held out of practice Wednesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
On Monday, coach Kliff Kingsbury told Jose M. Romero of The Arizona Republic that Moore was "pretty much day-to-day at this point," but the second-year wide receiver has yet to log a practice rep since making an early exit from last Thursday's session due to a hamstring injury. Once he gets back on the field, Moore will have an opportunity to fill in in a receiving corps that's without DeAndre Hopkins (suspension) for the first six games of the season, but it remains to be seen if he'll be available Sunday at Las Vegas.
Sep 12, 2022
Day-to-day with hamstring
Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said Monday that Moore (hamstring) is "pretty much day-to-day at this point," Jose M. Romero of The Arizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore left last Thursday's practice early due to the issue and ultimately didn't suit up for the preseason opener. He underwent and MRI but the results are unknown, though he appears to have avoided a significant injury. Wednesday's practice report should provide further clarity on the second-year wideout's availability for Week 2, but the final decision may not come until closer to Sunday. If available, Moore figures to have a sizable role in the Cardinals offense until DeAndre Hopkins returns from suspension.
Sep 9, 2022
Ruled out for Week 1
Moore (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest versus the Chiefs, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore left Thursday's practice early due to a hamstring injury, which resulted in no on-field activity to wrap up Week 1 prep. He was set to have an MRI, but the results of that evaluation are unknown. Coach Kliff Kingsbury told Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com on Friday that Moore picked up the issue while running, and the second-year wide receiver now will have to wait to make his season debut. With DeAndre Hopkins suspended six games to begin the campaign and Antoine Wesley (hip) on injured reserve, the Cardinals' receiving corps will be down to Marquise Brown, A.J. Green, Andy Isabella and Greg Dortch this weekend.
Sep 9, 2022
Not spotted at practice
Moore (hamstring) wasn't spotted during the media-access portion of Friday's practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore was added to the Cardinals' Week 1 injury report Thursday and his absence from the early portion of Friday's session doesn't bode well for his chances of playing Sunday against the Chiefs. Look for added clarity with regard to the wideout's status to arrive once the team's Friday injury report is posted. If Moore is out or limited this weekend, Andy Isabella and Greg Dortch would be candidates for added snaps behind Marquise Brown and A.J. Green.
Sep 8, 2022
Set for MRI on hamstring
Moore injured his hamstring in Thursday's practice and is set to undergo an MRI, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The extent of the issue is unknown after Moore missed time in the preseason with an undisclosed injury, but the second-year wide receiver will be evaluated further to get a sense of his availability for Week 1 against the Chiefs. The Cardinals already will be without DeAndre Hopkins due to his six-game suspension and Antoine Wesley (hip, IR) on Sunday, so the team's current healthy options at the position are Marquise Brown, A.J. Green, Andy Isabella and Greg Dortch
Sep 7, 2022
Clear for Week 1
Moore (undisclosed) wasn't listed on the Cardinals' injury report Wednesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
After the conclusion of Arizona's preseason slate, coach Kliff Kingsbury included Moore among three other Cards as being a "close call" for Week 1 action, according to Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com. With a full session now behind him, the 2021 second-round pick is good to go for Week 1, when he'll be looking to fill some of the void left by the suspended DeAndre Hopkins along with Marquise Brown and A.J. Green. As a rookie last season, Moore, racked up 511 yards from scrimmage and one receiving TD on 72 touches.
Sep 5, 2022
Practices Monday
Moore (undisclosed) practiced Monday, Jose M. RomeroArizona Republic reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore is dealing with an undisclosed injury, but the report notes that coach Kliff Kingsbury said that he expects the wideout to progress through the week and hopefully be ready for Sunday's season opener against Kansas City. Added context regarding the nature of Moore's injury and Week 1 status should arrive Wednesday when the Cardinals' official practice report is posted.
Aug 31, 2022
Dealing with unspecified injury
Moore (undisclosed) is one of four players coach Kliff Kingsbury listed as potential close calls for Week 1 against the Chiefs, Tyler Drake of 98.7 FM reports.
ANALYSIS
It sounds like a new injury for Moore, who Kingsbury deemed "day-to-day" without elaborating on the location of the issue, per Bo Brack of PHNX Sports. With DeAndre Hopkins suspended the first six weeks of the regular season, Moore has a nice opportunity awaiting if his health cooperates.
Aug 28, 2022
No action this preseason
Moore didn't play in Saturday's preseason contest in Tennessee.
ANALYSIS
Coach Kliff Kingsbury kept the core of the Cardinals offense on the sideline for all three of the team's exhibition, meaning Moore's next chance to get on the field is Sunday, Sept. 11 versus the Chiefs. At that time, top wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will he logging a six-game suspension, and Moore, Marquise Brown and A.J. Green figure to profit. A 2021 second-round pick, Moore flashed as a rookie last year but ultimately was inconsistent, recording 54 catches (on 64 targets) for 435 yards and one touchdown, 18 carries for 76 yards, 22.4 yards on 13 kick returns and 8.1 yards on 21 punt returns.
Aug 22, 2022
Doesn't play Sunday
Moore didn't play during Sunday's preseason defeat to the Ravens.
ANALYSIS
For the second consecutive exhibition, the Cardinals kept their top four wide receivers in street clothes (also, DeAndre Hopkins, Marquise Brown and A.J. Green). Last week, Kyler Murray relayed to Darren Urban of the team's official site that he won't suit up this preseason, but it's unclear if Moore and his position mates will sit out again, too, Saturday against the Titans. If the entire group doesn't see action until Week 1, Moore should be a beneficiary of Hopkins' six-game suspension to begin the campaign. Moore, a 2021 second-round pick, is looking to build upon a 54-435-1 line on 64 targets in 14 appearances from his rookie season.
May 5, 2022
Higher expectations in store
Moore's prospects have risen since Monday's announcement that DeAndre Hopkins faces a six-game suspension to kick off the 2022 season, Jess Root of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
The ban regards performance-enhancing substances, and in Hopkins' absence, newly acquired Marquise Brown, A.J. Green, Moore and even Antoine Wesley stand to benefit at wide receiver. Considering Hopkins works mostly on the outside, Brown likely will join Green there on the majority of snaps, leaving the slot open for the likes of Moore and veteran tight end Zach Ertz. Moore, a 2021 second-round pick, fared modestly as a rookie last season, recording 54 catches (on 64 targets) for 435 yards and one touchdown while taking 18 carries for 76 yards in 14 contests.
Jan 18, 2022
Handful of grabs
Moore caught five of seven targets for 32 yards in Monday night's 34-11 wild-card round loss to the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Moore, making his first appearance since suffering an ankle injury in Week 15, trailed only Christian Kirk in all major receiving categories for the Cardinals. Although his rookie campaign is now over, Moore finished the regular season with 54 catches on 64 targets for 435 yards and a touchdown in 14 games. He also rushed 18 times for 76 yards. Given his unique skill set, Arizona will surely aim to incorporate Moore more often next season, when it's unclear whether free agents Christian Kirk and AJ Green will return to the team's receiving corps. While his speed occasionally flashed, Moore will need to develop into more of a downfield threat to improve his value, however, with his 7.2 yards per offensive touch evidencing his presence around the line of scrimmage. The second-rounder may also continue to be involved on special teams, where he returned 21 punts for 171 yards and 13 kickoffs for 291 yards this term.
Jan 17, 2022
Returning to action Monday
Moore (ankle) is active for Monday's wild-card contest at the Rams, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Making his first appearance since Week 15, Moore will be putting an end to a three-game absence due to an ankle injury. He gained clearance after putting in a pregame warmup and stretching routine, per Urban. Moore wasn't exactly productive in three contests following Arizona's Week 12 bye, combining for 36 yards from scrimmage and no TDs on 13 touches. But with DeAndre Hopkins (knee) on injured reserve, Moore will join A.J. Green, Christian Kirk and Antoine Wesley as the team's top four wide receivers.
Jan 15, 2022
Questionable for Monday
Moore (ankle) is listed as questionable for Monday's wild-card contest at the Rams, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
For the second week in a row, the Cardinals listed Moore as limited on all three practice reports. But he's in the midst of a three-game absence due to a lingering ankle injury. Considering it's win-or-go-home season, Moore likely will put in a pregame warmup to see if he can suit up Monday, which will be confirmed, one way or another, about 90 minutes before an 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.
Jan 14, 2022
Remains limited in practice
Moore (ankle) was listed as a limited participant in Friday's practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore wasn't spotted on the field during the portion of Friday's practice that was open to the media, but he apparently did enough behind the scenes to maintain a limited listing for the second day in a row. Since the rookie wideout missed the final three games of the regular season with the ankle injury, he'll most likely need to upgrade to full activity in Saturday's practice if he's to avoid taking an injury designation into Monday's wild-card matchup with the Rams. Moore concluded the regular season with 54 catches for 435 yards and a touchdown on 64 targets to go with 18 carries for 76 yards in 14 contests.
Jan 14, 2022
Not seen at Friday's practice
Moore (ankle) wasn't spotted during the portion of Friday's practice that was open to the media, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore, who missed the final three games of the regular season with an ankle injury, was limited at Thursday's practice and it looks as though he's not taking part in Friday's session. The 21-year-old appears to be in danger of missing Monday's wild-card game against the Rams, though he could still make a return to practice Saturday and have a chance to play.
Jan 13, 2022
Maintains limited standing
Moore (ankle) was limited at practice Thursday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
This marks the sixth practice report in a row in which Moore has been listed as limited. He's also missed three consecutive contests due to an ankle injury, though, so the Cardinals may need him to log every rep in a given session before giving him clearance to play in a game. Moore will have two more chances to do so before the team decides whether to hand him a designation for Monday's playoff opener versus the Rams.
Jan 7, 2022
Out this week
Moore (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Seattle, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
With the rookie missing a third straight game to close out the regular season, the Cards should have plenty of WR snaps available for all of Christian Kirk, A.J. Green and Antoine Wesley. Meanwhile, Moore will hope to make it back for the wild-card round of the playoffs.
Jan 6, 2022
Another limited showing
Moore (ankle) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore managed two capped sessions last week before the Cardinals decided to make him inactive for a second consecutive game this past Sunday at Dallas. It's unclear if logging another limited practice will be enough for him to gain clearance to play through his ankle issue, but his status for a Week 18 matchup with the Seahawks could be decided as early as the release of Friday's injury report.
Jan 5, 2022
Puts in another limited session
Moore (ankle) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
As he did in the last two sessions of Week 17 prep, Moore had his reps capped in the first practice of this week. Still, he's coming off back-to-back absences, the result of an ankle injury. Moore will have two more opportunities to bump up to all activity before the Cardinals potentially give him another designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Seahawks.
Jan 2, 2022
Logging second absence of career
Moore (ankle) is listed as inactive Sunday in Dallas, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Despite ending Week 17 prep with back-to-back limited practices, Moore is missing a second consecutive game due to an ankle injury. With DeAndre Hopkins (knee) also on injured reserve, the Cardinals will trot out A.J. Green, Christian Kirk, Antoine Wesley, Andy Isabella and Greg Dortch at wide receiver Sunday.
Dec 31, 2021
Questionable to suit up this week
Moore (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Dallas, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore returned to practice Thursday after missing Week 16, and he's now logged back-to-back limited practices to close out the week, giving him a shot to play this Sunday against the Cowboys. He's been limited to a part-time role even with DeAndre Hopkins (knee) on IR, and Moore could be a game-time decision ahead of the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday.
Dec 30, 2021
Returns to practice
Moore (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
This marks Moore's first on-field reps since picking up an ankle injury Week 15 in Detroit. The second-round rookie has one more session this week to prove his health, at which point the Cardinals could clear up his potential to play Sunday at Dallas. Even if he does, though, Moore has notched just 72 touches and scored one TD in 14 appearances this season.
Dec 29, 2021
No activity Wednesday
Moore (ankle) was a non-participant at practice Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Since injuring his ankle during a Week 15 defeat at Detroit, Moore hasn't practiced. And for a second week in a row, coach Kliff Kingsbury is calling Moore a game-time decision for Sunday's contest in Dallas, per Urban. Moore wasn't able to suit up this past Saturday versus the Colts following the first declaration, so his prospects to play remain cloudy.
Dec 25, 2021
Not playing Saturday
Moore (ankle) is listed as inactive Sunday versus the Colts, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After being held out of practice all week, Moore was labeled a game-time decision by coach Kliff Kingsbury, per Urban. But Moore's ankle isn't healthy enough to allow him to play Week 16, and he'll miss the first game of his career. With Moore in street clothes and DeAndre Hopkins (knee) on IR, Arizona is down to A.J. Green, Christian Kirk, Antoine Wesley, Andy Isabella and Greg Dortch at wide receiver.
Dec 23, 2021
Questionable for Saturday
Moore (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Despite not practicing at all this week, Moore has been given a chance to be available to Arizona's offense this weekend. Indeed, coach Kliff Kingsbury called Moore a game-day decision earlier Thursday, per Urban. The status of the rookie wide receiver will be confirmed when the Cardinals post their list of inactives 90 minutes before Saturday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.

Labeled game-day call
Arizona head coach Kliff Kingsbury said after Thursday's practice that Moore (ankle) is considered a game-day decision as Saturday's contest against the Colts approaches, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Kingsbury has doled out the "game-day decision" label liberally this season, most notably terming quarterback Kyler Murray and wideout DeAndre Hopkins as such heading into a Week 9 matchup with the 49ers, only for both players to miss that game plus the two contests that followed. While Moore's ankle injury may not necessitate a three-game absence, at the very least, he's trending toward sitting out Saturday after having not practiced Tuesday through Thursday. The Cardinals will give Moore an official injury designation for the Week 16 contest later Thursday.
Dec 22, 2021
Doesn't practice Wednesday
Moore (ankle) didn't participate in practice Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
After Moore left this past Sunday's loss at Detroit due to an ankle injury, he underwent an MRI on Monday. Coach Kliff Kingsbury touched on the rookie wide receiver Tuesday, calling him day-to-day, per Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com. Moore isn't expected to do much, if any, on-field work this week, which seemingly means the Cardinals will give him a designation on their final Week 16 practice report Thursday.
Dec 21, 2021
Opens Week 16 prep with DNP
Moore (ankle) was estimated as a non-participant on Tuesday's injury report, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore was forced out of this past Sunday's loss at Detroit due to an ankle injury and underwent an MRI on Monday. The results of that examination are unknown, but the rookie wide receiver wouldn't have practiced if the Cardinals had held a session. Moore will have two more chances to mix into practice this week before the team potentially decides his fate for Saturday's contest against the Colts.
Dec 20, 2021
Getting ankle checked out
Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said Moore (ankle) is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore will get his ankle checked out after tweaking it at some point during Sunday's 30-12 loss to the Lions. The rookie was likely primed for a big snap count with DeAndre Hopkins (knee) moving to injured reserve prior to the contest, but Moore was on the field for only 20 plays and contributed three catches for nine yards to go with one carry for another yard before exiting. The MRI should shed more light on the extent of his injury, but his availability for the Cardinals' Week 16 game Christmas Day against the Colts looks to be in question for the moment.
Dec 19, 2021
Picks up ankle injury
Moore left Sunday's game at Detroit due to an ankle injury, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Prior to his departure, Moore had three catches (on three targets) for nine yards, one carry for one yard, two kick returns for 48 yards and two punt returns for 18 yards. His next chance to play will be Saturday, Dec. 25 against the Colts.
Dec 14, 2021
Musters 16 yards from scrimmage
Moore had three catches (on four targets) for five yards and two carries for 11 yards during Monday's 30-23 defeat to the Rams.
ANALYSIS
In a game in which the Cardinals ran 75 offensive plays, including 49 passes by Kyler Murray, Moore made a negligible impact in the box score, recording his fourth-fewest yards from scrimmage (16) in a game this season. Since the Cardinals' Week 12 bye, Moore also has put up his least productive two-game stretch (26 total yards) of his rookie campaign. The 2021 second-round pick will aim to get back on track this Sunday against a Lions defense that ranks 29th in total defense (379.2 yards per game).
Dec 6, 2021
Compiles four touches Sunday
Moore recorded one catch (on two targets) for eight yards, three carries for two yards, three kick returns for 71 yards and one punt return for no yards during Sunday's 33-22 win in Chicago.
ANALYSIS
On a day in which Kyler Murray aired it out just 15 times, Cardinals receivers were behind the eight ball when it came to making a mark in the box score. Per usual, Moore got opportunities outside of the passing game, but none of them were fruitful. It was a disappointing result after the rookie second-round pick racked up a career-best 11 receptions in the team's last game Week 11 at Seattle. Moore will attempt to get back in track next Monday against the Rams.
Nov 21, 2021
Catches all 11 targets
Moore caught 11 passes for 51 yards on 11 targets against Seattle on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
You won't see a box score like that very often. The high target count and the high catch rate occurred at the expense of the yardage potential, and the Seahawks did a decent job tracking Moore down after his many catches, but they couldn't quite stop him off the line and it allowed Colt McCoy to make Moore a high-volume checkdown option. The Cardinals pass catcher rotation is rather crowded, with Christian Kirk and Zach Ertz in particular competing against Moore for targets, but Moore has shown the ability to produce when he does get usage at multiple points this year.
Nov 16, 2021
Totals three touches Sunday
Moore compiled two catches (on four targets) for 10 yards and one carry for one yard during Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
With the Cardinals hurting at wide receiver -- DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) missed a second straight game, while A.J. Green returned from a one-game absence after testing positive for COVID-19 -- Moore didn't handle return duties for the first time this season. Despite all of that, Moore earned a meager snap share (34 percent) and had his second-fewest touches (three) in a game this season. The rookie second-round pick has flashed at times through 10 contests, but he now hasn't surpassed 26 yards from scrimmage in five consecutive outings and has just one touchdown on his ledger back in Week 2.
Nov 14, 2021
Active in Week 10
Moore (neck/concussion) is listed as active Sunday against the Panthers.
ANALYSIS
Emerging from the Cardinals' Week 9 win in San Francisco with a neck issue and concussion, Moore logged just one limited practice (Friday) this week. At that point, it didn't seem like the rookie second-round pick had made much progress through the protocol for head injuries, but as Sunday's 4:05 p.m. kickoff drew closer his availability made a change for the better, with Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reporting Moore was in line to play. Moore will do just that, joining A.J. Green and Christian Kirk atop a receiving corps that is without DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) for a second straight game. Moore will be on the end of passes from Colt McCoy again, too, with Kyler Murray (ankle) joining Hopkins in street clothes.
Nov 14, 2021
Appears on track to play
Moore (concussion/neck), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers, is expected to suit up and play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore closed the week as a limited practice participant after being listed as a non-participant on the Cardinals' first two injury reports of the week, but head coach Kliff Kingsbury didn't offer any word regarding where the rookie wideout stood in his progression through the NFL's five-step concussion protocol. Rapoport's report implies that the Cardinals anticipate Moore gaining clearance from an independent neurologist prior to Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff (if he hasn't already), and the related neck issue that the 21-year-old is dealing with doesn't look like it will keep him off the field either. With DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) listed as questionable but trending toward a second straight absence, Moore could be in store for a pronounced role on offense once again, but that hasn't translated to much meaningful fantasy production of late. Since turning in a 7-114-1 receiving line Week 2, Moore has hauled in 23 of 27 targets over the subsequent seven contests, but he's averaging a lowly 6.3 yards per targ
Nov 12, 2021
Questionable after limited practice
Moore (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Carolina, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The rookie returned to practice Friday as a limited participant, as did starting QB Kyler Murray, who missed Week 9 with an ankle sprain. Moore played a season-high 81 percent of offensive snaps with both DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) and A.J. Green (illness) inactive for the Week 9 win over Arizona, but the rookie managed just five catches for 25 yards and suffered a concussion along the way. Moore's return to practice Friday puts him on track to play, though he'll still need clearance Friday or Saturday from an independent neurologist. Murray and Hopkins, on the other hand, may be true game-time decisions ahead of the 4:05 ET kickoff on Sunday. Moore's availability is more likely to be determined the day before the game.
Nov 12, 2021
Back at practice
Moore (concussion) is back at practice Friday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
It's a step in the right direction, but he'll still need clearance from a neurologist before suiting up for Sunday's game against the Panthers. QB Kyler Murray (ankle) also returned to practice Friday morning, while DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) looks to be absent again.
Nov 11, 2021
Not practicing
Moore (concussion/neck) isn't participating in Thursday's practice, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
The extent of Moore's neck injury isn't known, but clearing the five-step concussion protocol will be the first order of business for the rookie wideout in order to put himself in position to play Sunday against the Panthers. At this stage, Moore doesn't look to be on track to suit up Week 10, given that he hasn't even been able to participate in individual drills off to the side with the training staff Wednesday or Thursday. Arizona will see what progress, if any, Moore makes during Friday's practice before giving him a designation for the weekend, but the Cardinals could be prepared to head into Sunday without three key pass catchers. Though A.J. Green (illness) was reinstated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday and is poised to play Sunday, top wideout DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) hasn't practiced since missing last week's win over the 49ers, and running back Chase Edmonds -- who has 30 receptions in nine games this season -- is expected to miss multiple weeks due to a high-ankle sprain.
Nov 10, 2021
In concussion protocol
Moore didn't practice Wednesday due to a neck injury and concussion, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
This is the first mention of a head injury for the rookie second-round pick. Now subject to the concussion protocol, Moore will need to get on the practice field Thursday and/or Friday to put himself in a position to play Sunday against the Panthers. The Cardinals' group of wide receivers is less than 100 percent at the moment, with DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) still sidelined at practice, A.J. Green (illness) on the reserve/COVID-19 list and Christian Kirk (thumb) a full participant Wednesday.
Nov 10, 2021
Makes five catches Sunday
Moore hauled in all five targets for 25 yards, returned one kickoff for 22 yards and had one punt return for two yards during Sunday's 31-17 win in San Francisco.
ANALYSIS
Prior to Week 9, Moore's share of offensive snaps hadn't surpassed 64 percent in any of the first eight games of his career. But with DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) sidelined and A.J. Green (illness) on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Moore jumped all the way up to 81 percent of those plays. It didn't translate to much in the box score, and Christian Kirk ended up leading the receiving corps with six catches (on six targets) for 91 yards. Notably, Colt McCoy stepped in for Kyler Murray on Sunday due to the latter's sprained ankle, and there's some worry Murray won't be able to suit up Week 10 versus the Panthers, either. As a result, the context surrounding Moore remains murky.
Oct 31, 2021
Another meager effort
Moore hauled in three of five targets for 24 yards and had two carries for one yard during Thursday's 24-21 defeat to the Packers.
ANALYSIS
Moore has been hit and miss through the first eight games of his career, with one outing of more than 100 receiving yards, two more with at least 68 yards from scrimmage and five with no more than 30 total yards. Plus, his only touchdown came during that 100-yard effort Week 2. Prior to Thursday's performance, Moore fumbled twice but didn't lose either of them. He wasn't so lucky in this contest, as a punt glanced of his fingertips and was recovered by the Packers, setting them up at the Cardinals' two-yard line, and they kicked a 21-yard field goal four plays later. The rookie second-round pick will seek a bounce-back effort this coming Sunday in San Francisco.
Oct 25, 2021
Notches two catches Sunday
Moore caught two of his three targets for 17 yards and returned two punts for 27 yards during Sunday's 31-5 win against the Texans.
ANALYSIS
Moore logged a healthy dose of snaps -- 37 of 71 on offense -- but he ranked well behind the Cardinals' top trio of A.J. Green (60), DeAndre Hopkins (59) and Christian Kirk (51). Newcomer Zach Ertz (five targets on 35 offensive plays) and running back Chase Edmonds (three targets) also were parts of the passing game, leaving few looks behind for the rookie wide receiver. With Ertz likely to increase his share of snaps on offense moving forward, Moore may have to take full advantage of the random reps he receives on a weekly basis in order to yield for fantasy managers.
Oct 19, 2021
Totals 26 yards from scrimmage
Moore tallied three carries for 10 yards, three catches (on four targets) for 16 yards, two punt returns for eight yards and one kick return for 23 yards during Sunday's 37-14 win in Cleveland.
ANALYSIS
Moore has slowly but surely built up his offensive snap count as his rookie campaign has gone on, culminating with a season-high 58 percent share Week 6. Still, he ranked fourth in the category among Cardinals wide receivers behind A.J. Green (91), DeAndre Hopkins (89) and Christian Kirk (85). Moore's six touches fall smack dab in the middle of his range to date (3-to-8) and just above his 5.5 per game. With so few looks, he has to make the most of them on a weekly basis, making him difficult to know when exactly he'll hit.
Oct 4, 2021
Earns five touches Sunday
Moore had three catches (on three targets) for 28 yards, two carries for nine yards and one kick return for nine yards during Sunday's road victory against the Rams.
ANALYSIS
Moore made his presence felt in his first two NFL games, combining for an 11-182-1 line on a team-high 13 targets. In two outings in the meantime, though, he's hauled in just five passes from Kyler Murray for 29 yards. With Murray spreading the ball around this year -- six different Cardinals have between 16 and 25 targets -- Moore seems poised to be a hit-or-miss option on a weekly basis as his rookie season proceeds. Moore's next chance to make an impact arrives Sunday against the 49ers.
Sep 28, 2021
Musters four yards from scrimmage
Moore recorded two catches (on two targets) for one yard, one carry for three yards and two punt returns for 27 yards during Sunday's 31-19 win in Jacksonville.
ANALYSIS
Through the first two games of his career, Moore led the Cardinals with 13 targets, which was a feat in itself in a receiving corps populated by DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Green and Christian Kirk. And production was evident, too, with 11 catches for 182 yards and one touchdown. With Hopkins (3-21-0 on six targets) not his usual self Sunday after missing every practice last week due to a rib injury, Moore technically had a chance to produce even more, but instead Green and Kirk both put together 100-yard outings. Moore could have a tough time bouncing back this coming Sunday against a Rams defense that has conceded 7.5 YPT to wide receivers this season (eighth best in the NFL).
Sep 19, 2021
Scores first career touchdown
Moore tallied seven catches (on eight targets) for 114 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 34-33 victory against the Vikings. He also had one kick return for 21 yards and three punt returns for 19 yards.
ANALYSIS
There was some question about how Moore would fit into the Cardinals offense after the team invested a second-round pick in him back in April. That said, quarterback Kyler Murray hasn't hesitated getting Moore involved in his first two pro outings, targeting the rookie 13 times, one of which resulted in a 77-yard TD near the end of the first half of Sunday's contest. The aforementioned volume prorates to 110.5 targets in the new 17-game slate, which should be enough for Moore to produce regularly in a high-powered scheme. He'll strive for yet another fruitful performance Week 3 when the Cardinals travel to Jacksonville.
Sep 12, 2021
Efficient with four catches
Moore notched four catches (on five targets) for 68 yards during Sunday's 38-13 win at Tennessee. He also returned one kickoff for 22 yards and two punts for 24 yards.
ANALYSIS
Moore multifaceted skill set showed up early and often in his debut, with Kyler Murray targeting him short, intermediate and deep. His longest reception went for 29 yards, with the other three going for 13 yards per pop. On top of that, Moore had a 25-yard kick return wiped out by a penalty. He has more established receivers in front of him on the depth chart -- DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Green and Christian Kirk -- but Moore's clear rapport with Murray was evident from the start Sunday.
Aug 20, 2021
Busy in preseason loss
Moore secured three of five targets for 15 yards, rushed once for nine yards and returned one kickoff for 11 yards in the Cardinals' 17-10 preseason loss to the Chiefs on Friday night.
ANALYSIS
The rookie had logged five targets in his pro debut against the Cowboys last Friday, and he saw a similar level of opportunity versus the Chiefs while playing the entirety of the first half. Moore is primed to open the season potentially battling Christian Kirk for No. 3 receiver reps, and given the pass-centric nature of the Cardinals' offense, even No. 4 duties could help him generate some serviceable numbers early in his first season.
Aug 14, 2021
Earns five touches in debut
Moore (undisclosed) had two carries for 16 yards and caught three of four passes for 23 yards during Friday's preseason win against the Cowboys.
ANALYSIS
Moore didn't break off any big plays, as he did throughout his time at Purdue, but each of his five touches went for seven or nine yards. He got a chance to work with the "top" offense in this game, with fellow starting wide receivers DeAndre Hopkins and A.J. Green sidelined due to undisclosed injuries. No. 1 quarterback Kyler Murray also was in street clothes, meaning Moore's reps came with reserve QBs Colt McCoy and Chris Streveler. Moore missed some practices recently with an unspecified health concern, but Friday's performance indicates he's back to full health.
Aug 13, 2021
May make pro debut Friday
Moore (undisclosed) caught passes and punts during pregame warmups, indicating he'll play in Friday's preseason game versus the Cowboys.
ANALYSIS
Moore missed some practices over the last week with a minor undisclosed injury, but the absences may all have been to ensure he was ready for the Cardinals' exhibition opener. If the rookie second-round pick is able to suit up, he may be the only available wide receiver among the team's expected top four, with all of DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Green and Christian Kirk sitting out recent sessions with their own unknown health concerns.
Aug 6, 2021
Not practicing Friday
Moore (undisclosed) is not on the field for Friday's practice, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moore and A.J. Green (undisclosed) are both still absent from practice and dealing with "something minor," per coach Kliff Kingsbury. The rookie second-round pick departed Thursday's session due to an issue that Kingsbury initially described as "precautionary." As long as Moore and Green both remain sidelined, KeeSean Johnson and Andy Isabella should see first-team reps behind DeAndre Hopkins.
Aug 5, 2021
Exits practice early
Moore left Thursday's practice with an undisclosed injury that isn't believed to be serious, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Coach Kliff Kingsbury used the term 'precautionary' when discussing the rookie's early exit from Thursday's practice. Kingsbury also mentioned that he views Moore as primarily a slot/inside receiver, whereas 2019 second-round pick Andy Isabella is more of a perimeter guy. Even so, there should be plenty of first-team practice reps for Isabella and a few other backups, as Moore joins A.J. Green and Christian Kirk on the injured list, and DeAndre Hopkins has also been in and out of practice.
Jun 25, 2021
Could see a lot of football
Coach Kliff Kingsbury indicated after full-squad minicamp that Moore has shown the ability to make the first man miss and stated "he's going to be a guy that's going to be fun to try to draw stuff up for, and see how many times we can get it to him," Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
While he's undersized at just 5-foot-7, Moore's athleticism jumps off the charts and it sounds like Kingsbury intends draw up some plays to take advantage of that. Given that the Cardinals have a plethora of good wide receivers, it remains to be seen exactly how large his target share will be, but Kingsbury's comments certainly seem to suggest Moore should be involved in the game plan out of the gate.
