Miller has also taken some reps as a kickoff returner and is apparently completely healed from the hamstring injury that prevented him from participating in minicamp, leaving him well-positioned for the heated battle with the likes of Breshad Perriman (leg), Cyril Grayson and Tyler Johnson for the last couple of receiver roster spots available behind the top quartet of Mike Evans (hamstring), Chris Godwin (knee), Russell Gage and Julio Jones.

Miller brought in four of six targets for 38 yards during the Buccaneers' 30-27 loss to the Rams in their NFC divisional-round matchup Sunday.

Kept in proverbial mothballs for most of the regular season, Miller was due for a bump in volume Sunday with fellow downfield threats Cyril Grayson (hamstring) and Breshad Perriman (hip) out of action. The extra opportunity did come his way in the form of a season-high target tally, and the in-game ribs injury suffered by Tyler Johnson also played a part in Miller's enhanced involvement. With a mostly forgettable 2021 now behind him, the Bowling Green product will look to carve out a more consistent role in 2022.

Miller brought in his only target for eight yards and rushed once for nine yards during the Buccaneers' 31-15 win over the Eagles in an NFC wild-card matchup Sunday.

Miller made a splash in Week 18 against the Panthers with a 43 rushing yards and a score on the ground, but he was back to making a minimal impact Sunday, even with fellow downfield threat Cyril Grayson (hamstring) out of action. The Bowling Green product is likely to be relegated to a similarly modest level of involvement in Sunday's divisional-round matchup against either the Cardinals or Rams.

Miller secured his only target for nine yards and rushed twice for 43 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers' 41-17 win over the Panthers on Sunday.

The third-year speedster had been an afterthought in the offense over the last several weeks, but he was able to finally make an impact in 2021 on the final Sunday of the campaign. Miller used his elite wheels on a fourth-quarter end around that saw him speed up the right sideline and then athletically tight-rope the sideline to get just over the pylon for the score. Miller saw all of nine targets in nine games during the regular season, but considering the depleted nature of Tampa Bay's receiving corps heading into the postseason, there's certainly a chance he'll see some opportunities behind the top trio of Mike Evans, Breshad Perriman and Tyler Johnson if Cyril Grayson (hamstring) is sidelined for Sunday's wild-card matchup against the Eagles.

Miller was active but did not log a snap in the Buccaneers' 28-24 win over the Jets on Sunday.

Miller's status as a non-participant in the offense only further solidifies how far he's apparently fallen in the wideout hierarchy for the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay will be down yet another pass catcher once Antonio Brown is eventually released, but it remains to be seen if that development will actually translate to any meaningful action for Miller, even in the relatively meaningless Week 18 finale versus the Panthers.

Miller was presumably in line for an expanded role with Mike Evans (hamstring), Breshad Perriman (reserve/COVID-19) and Chris Godwin (IR-knee) out of action, but the speedster logged all of three snaps from scrimmage. Meanwhile, Cyril Grayson (53 snaps) and Tyler Johnson (36 snaps) far outpaced him, although the latter didn't see so much as a target. With Evans having been placed in COVID-19 protocols Monday, there's certainly a chance he misses the Week 17 matchup against the Jets as well, but Perriman's likely return means Miller may once again be an afterthought.

Miller brought in two of three targets for 18 yards in the Buccaneers' 9-0 loss to the Saints on Sunday night.

After serving as a healthy scratch in Week 14 against the Bills, Miller was back in uniform Sunday night and his availability was timely. Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (knee) both exited the contest early, leading to a modest amount of volume for Miller. The Bowling Green product could be even busier over the last three games of the regular season, considering Godwin is out for the remainder of the contest due to a torn ACL and Evans could miss the Week 16 contest against the Panthers.

Miller (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bills, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.

The third-year wideout has been active the last two games after a seven-game stint on injured reserve due to a turf toe issue, but he logged all of seven snaps from scrimmage over that pair of contests. Miller won't be in on any plays Sunday, with the likes of Breshad Perriman and Tyler Johnson set to serve as the primary complementary options behind the top wideout duo of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

Miller once again saw a minimal role on offense in his second game back from injured reserve and was the No. 5 receiver in terms of playing time. The speedster's outlook doesn't figure to brighten much for the foreseeable future despite Antonio Brown (suspension/ankle) set to miss at least the next two games.

Miller (toe) failed to bring in his only target during Sunday's 38-31 win over the Colts, a game that marked his return from injured reserve.

The speedster was eased back into action with four snaps from scrimmage and another four from special teams. Miller should be primed to see an uptick in playing time in coming games, although once Antonio Brown (ankle) returns to action, the Bowling Green product will likely have an unpredictable week-to-week target share.

Coach Bruce Arians said Friday that he'll wait until Sunday to decide if Miller is active for a 1:00 ET matchup with the Colts, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.

Miller was activated from IR on Tuesday, potentially setting up his first appearance since Week 3. He might even be the Bucs' No. 3 receiver - or at least get some of those snaps - with Antonio Brown (ankle) out for a fifth straight game and Tyler Johnson averaging 26.5 YPG in his absence.

Miller (hamstring) was one of several Buccaneers skill-position players to work out with Tom Brady at Berkeley Preparatory School on Tuesday, Rick Stroud and Joey Knight of the Tampa Bay Times report.

Miller's participation in the workout, which was apparently organized and coordinated by Brady, is reason for optimism on a couple of fronts. One, it's encouraging the second-year receiver is apparently recovered enough from the hamstring injury that cut short his 2019 season to run routes at this point. Additionally, any on-field time Miller can spend with Brady in the absence of normal OTAs is naturally beneficial, as the speedy receiver will be vying to secure the No. 3 wideout job this summer now that Breshad Perriman is in New York. Miller was just starting to show flashes last season when he went down with his injury in Week 15 versus the Lions, and he should face stiff job competition from rookie fifth-round pick Tyler Johnson and third-year pro Justin Watson in training camp and preseason.

Miller's impressive wheels presumably give him a leg up on both Johnson and third-year wideout Justin Watson in terms of making up for the loss of speed brought about by Perriman's exit in free agency. However, if last season is any indication, coach Bruce Arians will get creative with any receiver spots behind starters Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, potentially operating a timeshare of sorts at the No. 3 slot depending on formations, defensive matchups and other factors. Miller will have to build on the modest flashes he was able to exhibit last season, when he battled injury but averaged an impressive 15.4 yards per grab on his 13 receptions. One area where Johnson might make for an especially viable stand-in for Miller would be near the goal line, as the rookie brings a well-established track record of red-zone success from his college days at Minnesota and has a four-inch height advantage over the 5-foot-9 second-year wideout.

A combination of limited salary cap room and a lack of prominent receivers on the open market opens up a fairly sizable path to the No. 3. job for Miller, who displayed flashes of his talent during his rookie season before seeing it cut short due to a hamstring injury in Week 15. Miller's final 2019 line was a modest 13-200-1 over 10 games, but he posted multi-catch efforts in three of his last four contests of the campaign. The speedy Bowling Green product is naturally excited about the prospect of catching passes from the legendary Tom Brady this coming season, and he concedes to having already put a lot of film study in on Julian Edelman, a long-time favorite of his new quarterback and a receiver who is similar to Miller in stature. Notably, the second-year wideout is appreciably faster than Edelman, but Miller is working on adding muscle this offseason after estimating he dipped below 170 pounds at times last season.

Miller sustained a hamstring injury during Sunday's game at Detroit, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Miller has tended to a hamstring issue since early August, missing time in the preseason and the Buccaneers' two games prior to this one. The team cleared him for action after he put in a full practice Thursday, only for Miller to seemingly aggravated the injury Sunday. Before his exit, he hauled in all three targets for 49 yards and one touchdown. With Mike Evans (foot) sidelined, the receiving corps is down to Chris Godwin, Breshad Perriman, Justin Watson and Ishmael Hyman.

Miller was limited in Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring injury.

Miller looks to have suffered a hamstring issue during Week 12's win over the Falcons. There's not yet any reason to worry that the rookie sixth-round pick is in danger of missing any time, and he'll have two more opportunities to upgrade his level of participation ahead of Sunday's tilt against the Jaguars.
