Whether the pecking order against Denver is just a one-game anomaly remains to be seen, but the entire Raiders offense has a much more appealing matchup in a Week 11 home clash against the Cowboys on Monday night, Nov. 17.

Tucker is the top receiver left on the Raiders' depth chart after Las Vegas traded Jakobi Meyers to Jacksonville on Tuesday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.

Meyers had been a focal point in the Raiders passing attack while appearing in seven of the first eight games, commanding 20.7 percent of the team's overall targets and registering 352 yards on 33 catches. Though Meyers' departure leaves tight end Brock Bowers as the clear No. 1 option in the passing game, Tucker and Las Vegas' other receivers should also benefit from at least slight bumps in opportunity. In the lone game Meyers missed prior to being traded -- a blowout loss to the Chiefs in Week 7 -- starting quarterback Geno Smith attempted just 16 passes while Kansas City dominated the time of possession, but Tucker was targeted on six of those throws (37.5 percent share). It's worth noting, however, that Bowers also missed that game while recovering from a PCL injury.

Tucker finished with three receptions on four targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 30-29 overtime loss to Jacksonville.

Tucker produced the most yards from any Las Vegas wide receiver Sunday, but he finished a distant third behind TE Brock Bowers (12-127-3) and RB Ashton Jeanty (5-47-1) in receiving. Tucker finished as the Raiders' leading receiver on a low-volume day from the passing offense. The 24-year-old finished with a receiving line somewhere in between the highs and lows we had seen over his previous five appearances. Whether Tucker is in danger of missing Friday's Week 13 contest against the Chiefs could become clearer when the Raiders hold their first non-walkthrough practice of the week Wednesday. If Tucker does end up being sidelined, DJ Turner could move up to the role of No. 2 receiver.

Granted, it's not unusual for small, fast receivers to excel in early offseason practices without tackling. The Raiders seem optimistic it will carry over in this case, with coach Antonio Pierce saying Tucker is a "different dude" who plays like "the biggest guy out there" despite being 5-foot-9, 185 pounds. Tucker opened last season as the team's fourth/fifth WR after being a third-round pick, eventually working his way up to the No. 3 role and then catching 11 of 15 targets for 170 yards and two touchdowns over the final four weeks. He now seems to holding off Michael Gallup for that No. 3 role, but it probably won't come with too many snaps or targets in an offense that has Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers at wide receiver and Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer at tight end.

Tucker caught all five of his targets for a season-high 79 yards in the Raiders' Week 18 win over the Broncos, ultimately finishing the 2023 campaign with 19 receptions for 331 yards and two touchdowns on 34 targets in 16 games. He also rushed 10 times for 77 yards.

Tucker was a healthy scratch in the Raiders' season opener despite being selected with the 100th overall pick in last April's draft, but the rookie took his first NFL touch for 34 yards on a jet sweep against the Bills in Week 2, and he eventually recorded six receptions of 20-plus yards throughout the team's final 12 games. Tucker became the preferred No. 3 option at wide receiver behind Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers as the season wore on, beating out Hunter Renfrow for playing time down the stretch. After playing 48 percent of the Raiders' offensive snaps in Week 7, Tucker's playing time took a major hit in Week 8 as he played just 13 percent of snaps Monday. The rookie wideout was not a part of the game plan, with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo failing to connect with the speedster on any of his six snaps. With limited usage on a struggling offense, Tucker should remain far off the fantasy radar when the Raiders host the Giants in Week 9.

Tucker caught two of three targets for 16 yards and rushed once for two yards in Sunday's 30-12 loss to the Bears.

Tucker's pair of receptions came on the Raiders' last drive of the game with the team trailing 30-6, and the rookie speedster ultimately finished the contest with a career-high 32 offensive snaps played. He figures to continue splitting work with fellow receiver Hunter Renfrow behind Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers in Week 8 against the Lions.

Tucker caught both of his targets for 57 yards in Sunday's 21-17 win over the Patriots. He also rushed once for four yards.

Tucker not only logged a season-high 22 offensive snaps, but the speedy rookie also got behind the Patriots' secondary on a 48-yard reception to flip the field on a third-down conversion in the second half. Although Tucker has earned just four total targets through the first five games of his NFL career, fellow receiver Hunter Renfrow was hardly involved Sunday with seven snaps of his own, so Tucker's expanded role behind Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers could stick for the Raiders' road trip to Chicago in Week 7.

Tucker (knee) is good to go for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official website reports.

Tucker logged consecutive limited practices to kick off the week after injuring his knee in Monday's 17-13 victory over the Packers. However, he put in a full day's work Friday and was held off the team's final injury report as a result. Barring any setbacks, he is set to provide depth at receiver, while primarily contributing on special teams.

Tucker suffered a knee injury in the first half of the Raiders' Week 5 matchup with Green Bay and his status for the rest of the game is uncertain. The wide receiver produced a 16-yard run prior to exiting the contest.

Tucker was held without a catch on just one target in Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Bills, but he took his lone carry for 34 yards.

Tucker, who was a healthy inactive in Week 1, immediately showcased his speed on the Raiders' opening drive Sunday when the third-round rookie ran for 34 yards on a jet sweep, setting up a 16-yard touchdown pass from Jimmy Garoppolo to Davante Adams (concussion) on the very next play. Tucker ultimately logged only nine offensive snaps, however, while fellow reserve Kristian Wilkerson played 29 snaps. If Adams and Jakobi Meyers remain subject to the league's concussion protocol, Tucker could see additional opportunities against the Steelers in Week 3.

Tucker (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Broncos.

A rookie third-round pick, Tucker presumably will play a big role for the Raiders eventually. However, Tucker finds himself behind Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers, Hunter Renfrow, DeAndre Carter and Kristian Wilkerson on the depth chart to start the year.

The Raiders sat the majority of their receiving corps, which gave Tucker the chance to play early. He was targeted in both the short and long areas of the field, though ultimately he turned in a modest stat line. A third-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Tucker should make the Las Vegas roster as a depth pass catcher.

Tucker had one reception (three targets) for three yards and one carry for three yards in Sunday's 34-7 preseason win over San Francisco.

Tucker didn't get to put his wheels on display, but he was able to show off his dual-threat ability on a jet sweep attempt. The third-round rookie is looking to make the team as a gadget wideout and return man. Tucker will look to have more success with his touches in the Raiders' next preseason matchup against the Rams on Saturday.
