Returns from COVID list
Scott (illness) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday.
ANALYSIS
Scott landed on the COVID list last week after testing positive for the virus, but he's now cleared the health and safety protocols. The 27-year-old should return to a reserve role on Carolina's offensive line.

Tests positive for virus
Scott's placement on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday was the result of a positive test, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.
ANALYSIS
Scott is on the list for the second time in as many years, though on the previous occasion in 2020, he was deactivated for only two days after being deemed a close contact of an infected person. Unless he's unvaccinated, Scott will have a chance to gain clearance ahead of Sunday's game against the Falcons if he tests negative twice at least 24 hours apart and is asymptomatic for a 48-hour period. Scott has started the past four games at right guard in place of John Miller (ankle), whose status for Week 14 is also in question at the moment.

Hits COVID list
Scott was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Scott has been starting at right guard for the Panthers while John Miller (ankle) has been out. With Miller potentially returning Sunday against the Falcons, that could help cushion the blow if Scott were not able to clear protocols by Sunday.

Comes off COVID-19 list
The Panthers activated Scott (illness) from the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday.
ANALYSIS
Scott only had to spend a handful of days on the COVID-19 list, but this transactions means he'll be eligible to suit up for Sunday's contest in New Orleans. The third-year pro stands to contribute in his usual role as a depth offensive tackle.

Hits COVID-19 list
The Panthers placed Scott (illness) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
Scott has played a depth role in five of the Panther's last six games, but he'll now be forced to miss time as long as he's on the COVID-19 list. Carolina isn't allowed to disclose whether Scott's placement on the list means he's tested positive for COVID-19 or been in close contact with someone who has.

Receives tender from Chargers
Scott was tendered as an exclusive rights free agent by the Chargers.
ANALYSIS
Scott joined the Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He appeared in 25 games with 10 starts across his tenure, with nine starts coming in 2019. The Chargers also agreed to terms with veteran Bryan Bulaga on Tuesday, so it remains to be seen what Scott's role will be in 2020.
