Still a capable ancillary contributor, Lockett figures to draw fair interest on the free agent market, though any potential fantasy value for the upcoming season will rely heavily on the target competition of his ultimate landing spot.

Despite his down performance, Lockett has earned at least eight targets in three of six games on the campaign, and he should have a strong chance to bounce back in Week 7 against the Chargers.

Lockett recorded five receptions on six targets for 104 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 39-32 loss to the Saints.

Lockett did the majority of his damage on a pair of long scores that went for 40 and 35 yards. Those were his first touchdowns of the season, but he's been in strong form overall since a quiet opening week. Across his last four games, Lockett has topped 100 yards on two occasions and at least one reception of 20 yards or more in every matchup.

Lockett finished with the second-highest reception, receiving yardage and target totals behind DK Metcalf on the afternoon. Lockett's next opportunity to build on his early chemistry with Geno Smith comes in a Week 5 road matchup against the Saints in a dome environment that should favor his speed.

Lockett (shoulder) racked up nine receptions (10 targets) for 76 yards in Sunday's 27-23 loss to Atlanta.

Lockett suffered a shoulder stinger during the contest, but he was able to return and was not listed as an official injury by head coach Pete Carroll after the loss, according to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times. Still, it wouldn't be surprising to see the speedy wideout pop up on the injury report leading up to Sunday's tilt against the Lions. Lockett currently leads the Seahawks in receptions (21) and yards (211), making him a solid fantasy option with more value in PPR formats heading into Week 4.

Lockett caught nine of 11 targets for 107 yards in Sunday's 27-7 loss to the 49ers.

It was a surprisingly productive performance for the veteran wideout considering the Seattle offense failed to produce any points at all on the day, as the Seahawks' only score came on a blocked field goal that got returned to the end zone by Mike Jackson. Lockett showed flashes of chemistry with new starting QB Geno Smith last season as well, and this is the second time in Smith's five starts for Seattle he's topped 100 receiving yards. He'll look to keep rolling in Week 3 against a Falcons defense that has already given up huge games to Cooper Kupp (11-108-2), Jarvis Landry (7-114-0) and Michael Thomas (5-57-2) this season.

Lockett caught three of four targets for 28 yards in Monday's 17-16 win over the Broncos.

Seattle never trailed in the game, so Geno Smith didn't have to look Lockett's way downfield as the Seahawks stayed on schedule with a mix of runs and short passes. Lockett's four targets tied for second on the team with Noah Fant behind DK Metcalf's seven. All of Seattle's top pass-catchers could see more volume in Week 2 against the 49ers if the Seahawks fall behind as expected.

Lockett caught both his targets for 35 yards in Friday's preseason game against the Cowboys.

The veteran receiver caught both his passes during Seattle's first possession of the night with Geno Smith under center, and both checked out the of game afterward. With Smith now named the Week 1 starter by coach Pete Carroll, Lockett will be working with a QB that may not look to stretch the field as much as Russell Wilson did, but the speedster is more than capable of supplying big plays on his own. During the three games Smith started in 2021, Lockett caught 16 of 23 targets for 189 yards, including a 142-yard eruption in Week 8 against the Jaguars.

Lockett played the first series of Thursday's 27-11 preseason loss to the Bears but wasn't targeted.

Both Lockett and D.K. Metcalf suited up briefly after sitting out last week's preseason opener, but quarterback Geno Smith didn't target either of his top two wide receivers during their brief time in the game. Smith didn't lead the Seahawks to any points despite playing the entire first half, so Seattle's quarterback competition between him and Drew Lock -- who sat this one out due to COVID-19 -- is far from decided heading into the team's Aug. 26 preseason finale in Dallas.

The Seahawks traded Russell Wilson to the Broncos on Tuesday, meaning Lockett will likely have a downgrade at quarterback in 2022, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Lockett, who will turn 30 years old in September, signed a four-year, $69.2 million contract with the Seahawks in March of 2021, and he was probably expecting that Wilson would be his signal-caller for the remainder of that deal. Instead, the Seahawks established their commitment to the rebuild by trading the nine-time Pro Bowler. The Seahawks received quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant, DE Shelby Harris along with an assortment of picks in return. While they may also draft a QB or sign one in free agency, it's basically certain that the Seahawks will have a significant downgrade under center. Furthermore, Fant adds more competition for targets, too. Lockett -- who has only played three NFL games without Wilson -- is still poised to be the 1B option in this offense, but there's plenty of ambiguity for the time being.

Lockett caught five passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns on five targets against Arizona on Sunday.

Lockett has had a lot of success against Arizona the last two years, so it might not be so surprising that he posted another strong box score against the Cardinals in this game, even with Russell Wilson only attempting 26 passes. Lockett's fantasy value beyond 2021 is pending the status of Russell Wilson and Seattle coach Pete Carroll, but in the meantime it seems safe to say that Lockett is still almost automatic when working with Wilson. Lockett finishes the year with 73 receptions for 1,175 yards and eight touchdowns on 107 targets in 16 games

Lockett caught three passes for 24 yards and one touchdown on three targets against Detroit on Sunday.

Lockett is of course capable of much more damage than this against a defense as vulnerable as Detroit's, but in this particular game DK Metcalf hogged most of the spotlight on the fantasy stage, drawing nine targets while catching six for 63 yards and three touchdowns. Although the Arizona defense is a tough matchup for the Seahawks in Week 18, Lockett has really had the Cardinals' number going back to last year, scoring four times in the last three matchups and going over 100 yards in two of them.

Lockett caught three of six targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 25-24 loss to the Bears,

On a snowy day in Seattle, the Seahawks' passing game was mostly quiet, leading to one of Lockett's worst performances of the season. The veteran wideout is on the cusp of a couple milestones, however, as he needs only five more receiving yards and one touchdown to set new career single-season highs in both categories, giving him something to play for in Week 17 against the Lions even with the Seahawks eliminated from postseason contention.

The Seahawks activated Lockett from the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.

Lockett spent exactly a week on the COVID-19 list, missing Tuesday's loss to the Rams in the process. Now that he's back with the Seahawks, he'll turn his focus to Sunday's game against the Bears, who have given up the second-most touchdowns (19) to wide receivers this season.

Carroll's comment indicates Lockett may have returned his first negative test. If so, Lockett will need to do the same 24 hours from that test in order to return to the active roster.

That deep shot has been a signature play for the two stars, but we hadn't seen it since Wilson returned from injured reserve until Sunday. With Lockett's fifth 100-yard performance of 2021, the 29-year-old wideout has now recorded 1,023 yards through 13 games, marking his third straight season with at last 1,000 receiving yards. He should comfortably surpass his career high of 1,057 yards as long as he stays healthy.

The speedster was once again Russell Wilson's favorite option, leading the Seahawks in catches and receiving yards and capping his day with the game-winning score, a 12-yard fade to the back corner of the end zone from Wilson late in the fourth quarter. Lockett's TD was his first since Week 2, but his touchdowns have tended to come in bunches throughout his career, making him a high-upside play in Week 14 against the Texans.

Lockett was explosive in the first half, hauling in a 55-yard pass prior to a 39-yard gain in the second quarter. Those big plays helped him comfortably lead the Seahawks in receiving, with teammate DK Metcalf managing merely one catch for 13 yards. Although Seattle's offense has struggled lately, Lockett has still been productive, now topping 95 yards in three of his last four contests.

Lockett caught four passes for 115 yards on five targets against Arizona on Sunday.

The Seattle passing game was a complete dud aside from Lockett, who himself had somewhat disappointing target volume. As he so often does, Lockett did a lot of damage with his targets, and it's by any standard a strong showing to produce 115 receiving yards in an offense that threw for just 207 total, but Seattle's passing game simply went too cold for too long when Lockett wasn't landing his shots. Russell Wilson (finger) clearly is not himself yet, so hopefully he can make progress in time to capitalize on an otherwise favorable matchup at Washington in Week 12.

Lockett caught two receptions for 23 yards on eight targets against Green Bay on Sunday.

It was a frustrating day for Lockett and the Seattle receivers, none of whom could get anything going despite beating the Green Bay secondary plenty of times. The fact is that Lockett and DK Metcalf will both struggle to produce if Russell Wilson (finger) can't play better than he did against Green Bay, and the upcoming Arizona defense is probably less charitable than the Packers one. Hopefully Wilson's condition improves and allows Lockett's talent to show up in the box score.

Lockett caught 12 of 13 targets for 142 yards in Sunday's 31-7 win over the Jaguars.

Lockett caught 17 passes for 159 yards over the previous five games, and he finally broke out of his slump with conviction in the team's first win with Geno Smith under center. The Seahawks are on bye next week and will return in Week 10 against the Packers. Lockett has been so boom-or-bust this season that it's tough to predict his big games, but it would certainly help his odds if Russell Wilson (finger) is back under center. Wilson is optimistic he'll return in Week 10, but he'll need to hit a few milestones first. Lockett will be a high-upside play regardless.

Lockett caught two of three targets for just 12 yards in Monday's 13-10 loss to New Orleans.

Lockett turned in his second dismal performance with Geno Smith under center. The backup quarterback can't be blamed for all of his wideout's shortcomings, as Lockett had been struggling when Russell Wilson (finger) was healthy outside of Weeks 1 and 2. The 28-year-old possesses the explosive talent to ignite a huge fantasy game on any given week, but perhaps its best to explore other options at least until Wilson returns from IR.

Lockett had just two receptions (seven targets) for 35 yards in Sunday's 23-20 overtime loss to Pittsburgh.

It was a disappointing passing output from the Seahawks overall in Geno Smith's first start with the club, but Lockett was particularly disappointing given the poor catch rate (29 percent) and low production. The speedy wideout has a chance to bounce back next week against the Saints, especially if DK Metcalf draws most of the attention from shutdown corner Marshon Lattimore. That being said, it could simply be a rough go of things for the entire Seattle passing attack for at least two more games while Russell Wilson (finger) mends on IR.

Lockett secured five of 10 targets for 57 yards in the Seahawks' 26-17 loss to the Rams on Thursday night.

Lockett logged a team-high number of targets but wasn't exactly efficient with them. The speedster was also the intended receiver on what essentially turned out to be a game-sealing interception thrown by Geno Smith, with Lockett getting slowed just a tad by contact as he crossed the field on his route. The 29-year-old has now posted a combined 13-112-0 line over his last three games after hitting the 100-yard mark and scoring three TDs in his first pair of contests, and he'll look to get back to that caliber of performance in a Week 6 road battle versus the Steelers.

Lockett (hip) caught four of five targets for 24 yards against San Francisco on Sunday.

Lockett toughed out the hip injury to make some catches underneath for the Seahawks, but the Seattle passing game was generally ineffective Sunday and Lockett's modest numbers partially reflect that. Lockett gets a potentially tough short-week matchup with the Rams defense Thursday, so the going isn't going to get any easier. Hopefully the Seahawks passing game can hit its stride before Thursday and answer the call in a crucial divisional game.

Any minor health concern to a player of Lockett's stature oftentimes results in team's taking a cautious approach, and the Seahawks are doing exactly that with the seventh-year pro. His yards per reception did drop a bit in 2020, down to 10.5 from 12.9 in 2019, but he made up for the slight decline in efficiency with a career-high 100 catches. Even if Lockett ends up taking more of a backseat to rising superstar DK Metcalf in the future, his chemistry with Russell Wilson and position atop Seattle's receiving depth chart will position him well for strong fantasy production.

Lockett caught two of four targets for 43 yards in Saturday's 30-20 wild-card loss to the Rams.

It was a quiet game overall for Seattle's passing game, as Russell Wilson completed just 41 percent of his passes for 174 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Lockett caught a pair of long passes, with his two receptions going for 24 and 19 yards. The sixth-year wideout nevertheless put together a remarkable 2020 season, posting a 100-1,054-10 line through 16 games. Lockett's efficiency has taken a steep dropoff since his 16.9 yards per reception mark in 2018, but he made up for it with a career-high 132 targets this year. He'll have an opportunity for similar success next year with Russell Wilson and DK Metcalf both returning in 2021.

Lockett hauled in 12 receptions (14 targets) for 90 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 26-23 win over the 49ers.

Lockett capped off the regular season with a bang, abusing a battered 49ers secondary that focused its remaining resources on containing DK Metcalf (three catches for 21 yards). The 28-year-old had taken a backseat to the budding superstar across from him in formations down the stretch, averaging just 46.9 yards per game with one total touchdown over his previous nine contests. Despite his monster performance in the season finale, we may see more of the second-half version of Lockett as opposed the big production we saw early in the season prior to Metcalf's coming-out party. That being said, the veteran of Seattle's receiving corps will finish with strong numbers, catching a team-record 100 receptions, 1,054 yards and 10 touchdowns over 16 games. Lockett could put up a repeat performance in next week's NFC Wild Card round, as Metcalf is likely to draw the Rams' top defensive back, Jalen Ramsey, in Sunday's playoff matchup between division rivals.

Lockett caught three of five targets for 44 yards during Sunday's 20-9 win over the Rams.

Lockett's long gain of 24 yards matched his best from the last six games, but he struggled to make a notable impact other than that. He has now topped 60 receiving yards just once over his last five games and hasn't reached the end zone during that stretch. Lockett seems to be quite far removed from his monstrous 200-yard performance from Week 7 but will look to finish the regular season on a high note next Sunday against the 49ers.

Lockett caught four of seven targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 20-15 win over Washington.

The Seahawks' strategy was clear early in the game; they wanted to avoid Washington's pass rush. In turn, Lockett was targeted on short passes six times in the first 20 minutes of the game, and he caught four of those throws for 34 yards. The sixth-year wideout was only targeted one more time all game, failing to haul in that look. Since ringing up seven touchdowns over the first six games, Lockett has produced just one score over eight contests, and he hasn't surpassed the 67-yard threshold in that stretch. He'll look to rediscover the pay dirt in a home matchup against the Rams next week.

Lockett caught all five of his targets for 52 yards in Sunday's 40-3 win over the Jets.

Given the final score, Lockett's line was a bit disappointing as he wasn't one of the four different Seahawks that Russell Wilson found for TDs on the afternoon. Lockett has still seen at least five targets and caught at least three passes in nine straight games, and he's closing in on his second straight 1,000-yard campaign heading into Week 15's road clash with a stingy Washington secondary.

Lockett recorded six receptions on nine targets for 63 yards in Week 13 against the Giants.

Lockett got off a quick start by logging 30 yards on two receptions during the Seahawks' opening drive. Lockett typically flourishes when Russell Wilson is under heavy pressure, finding holes in the defense that Wilson can pick apart. Wilson was under siege Sunday, but instead, Lockett watched DK Metcalf secure seven receptions for 108 yards and a touchdown. Lockett now has produced fewer than 45 yards and no touchdowns in four of the last five games, although he snuck in a 15-200-3 effort in Week 7 against the Cardinals. He's starting to become a boom-or-bust player, and next week's matchup will be tough to get back on track, as the Rams have allowed 197.1 passing yards per game (second in the league).

Coming off a massive Week 7 performance, Lockett was held in check by San Francisco's defense. Instead, D.K. Metcalf was peppered with 15 targets and posted 161 receiving yards with two scores. Though Lockett has seven touchdowns, he's accumulated six of them in two games. Similarly, he has accounted for 300 of his 575 receiving yards in two games this season. That leaves him with huge upside in every game, but also with a limited floor. Lockett will try to get back on track in Week 9 against Buffalo.

After a pair of underwhelming games leading up to the Week 6 bye, Lockett came out of the gate firing, making a spectacular 35-yard, one-handed grab on the first play of the evening and catching his fifth touchdown of the year just five plays later. The speedy wideout caught a handful of dink-and-dunk passes the rest of the half before reeling in another score on a 47-yard moonball from Russell Wilson with 43 seconds left in the second quarter. Lockett remained Wilson's favorite target for the rest of the game, and for the grand finale, he showcased his body control by corraling a lofted pass in the end zone and getting both feet down to put the Seahawks up 10 points with six minutes left in the game. However, the magic was quickly overshadowed by a Cardinals comeback effort that handed the Seahawks their first loss of the season. Nevertheless, this was Lockett's second three-touchdown performance of the season, and he set career highs in receptions and receiving yards in this contest. He'll look to keep the

Lockett was only able to do work on underneath routes against the Vikings since they kept two deep safeties for nearly the entire contest. The one deep shot Russell Wilson took towards Lockett wasn't synced up and resulted in the lone incompletion between the two. DK Metcalf's emergence as a star wideout has hurt Lockett over the past couple of weeks, but the speedy receiver remains involved and will have better weeks like we saw earlier in the season. Lockett owners will have to look for a replacement in Week 6 with the Seahawks entering its bye week.

Lockett caught two of four targets for 39 yards in Sunday's 31-23 win over the Dolphins.

Lockett was bound to fall back to earth after his three-touchdown performance against the Cowboys in Week 3, but he crashed harder than fantasy managers would've liked. He failed to haul in either of his two targets through the first three quarters, including a costly drop in Dolphins territory. Russell Wilson connected with him twice in the fourth quarter to somewhat salvage Lockett's fantasy day. The 28-year-old wideout will look to quickly shake off this dud with an appealing Week 5 matchup on the horizon, as the Vikings have let up 294.3 passing yards per game and 13 total passing touchdowns this season.

Lockett caught nine of 13 targets for 100 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 38-31 win over the Cowboys.

The speedster found the end zone once in the first quarter on a 43-yard bomb and then twice in the second quarter on one-yard strikes, helping Russell Wilson make history as the first QB to throw for at least four TDs in each of his team's first three games. Lockett could be poised for another big performance next week against a Dolphins defense that couldn't contain John Brown or Stefon Diggs in its Week 2 meeting with the Bills.

Lockett was once against Russell Wilson's favorite target in Week 2, working underneath as burners like DK Metcalf and David Moore took the top off the Patriots' defense. Metcalf has been targeted on the deeper passes -- an area Lockett also excels -- but the tandem is a clear 1A-1B where both should be considered viable fantasy starters on a weekly basis. The Seahawks have another favorable Week 3 matchup, as Dallas allowed Matt Ryan to throw for 273 yards and four scores Sunday.

Lockett caught all eight targets for 92 yards in Sunday's 38-25 win over the Falcons.

As if it were possible, Lockett's connection with Russell Wilson seemed to get stronger this offseason, as Wilson connected with the speedy receiver on every pass thrown his way. While it was DK Metcalf who found the end zone in this contest, both studs saw eight targets and were instrumental in helping Wilson reach historic efficiency -- his 88.6 completion percentage was the third-highest mark in NFL history. The big plays may start leaning toward the big-bodied Metcalf, but Lockett won't fade away in this offense regardless. The duo will face a tougher test in Week 2 when the Patriots come to town.
