In a game where the Celtics took an abnormal number of threes, it’s pretty shocking that Porzingis barely played in the game. He’s not trusted by the Celtics.
Meanwhile, the Knicks rank inside the top ten in three-pointers made and attempted from centers this season. The Knicks aren’t allowing a whole bunch of threes to be taken by centers. They also rank 6th in field goals made to centers this season.
Porzingis doesn’t have an elite matchup against the Knicks and has failed to make an impact so far in this series after an underwhelming Game 1.
In addition, Porzingis used 16.8% while he was in the game against the Knicks. That’s his lowest usage percentage over the last ten games. Porzingis might not even add two attempts from three in tonight’s game. Ultimately, he’s hit this line in just one of his last five games
