Texas A&M vs. Saint Mary’s
It’s a matchup between the 7th and 10th seeds, with Saint Mary’s favored by 3.5 points as the higher-ranked team and home side.
For us, Saint Mary’s is the best bet here. Defensively, they hold a clear edge, ranking 4th in the nation, while Texas ranks just 284th in rebound percentage. Texas enters this game having won only four of its last 10 outings and has failed to cover the +3.5 spread in five of those six losses.
Saint Mary’s is in much better overall form, and we believe they should be at least four points better tonight. They’ve also been dominant at home, covering the -3.5 spread in each of their last five home wins, with an average margin of victory of 24 points.

Idaho Vandals vs. Houston
The Idaho Vandals’ metrics are much stronger than you’d expect from a 15th seed.
They’ve ranked inside the top 75 defensively over the past four weeks and sit 3rd nationally in rebounding. They’ve also held opponents to just 49% on two-point attempts this season and own the second-best record in the Big Sky Conference.
Houston’s defense needs no introduction. They’ve long been one of the top defensive teams in the nation, and that remains true this season, ranking 5th overall.
We like the Vandals to cover this sizeable +23.5 spread, even on the road. Idaho is 8-2 in its last 10 games and covered +23.5 in both losses. Houston, meanwhile, is 6-4 over its last 10 but just 2-8 against the spread during that span.
Idaho’s defense should be strong enough to keep this game within 23 points.

Howard Bison vs. Michigan
This is a massive spread for this NCAAB March Madness matchup, but we’re comfortable laying the -31.5 points with Michigan.
Michigan enters this game as the No. 1 seed, while Howard comes in as the No. 16 seed. The Bison are an impressive 12-1 ATS in their last 13 games, whereas Michigan is 0-5 ATS in its last five. That said, Howard has faced the 364th-ranked strength of schedule and has been beaten by margins of 37, 23, and 21 points against power conference opponents this season.
Michigan should prove too strong for Howard, even without the injured L.J. Cason. Nevertheless, this is an elite Wolverines team, and we believe they can cover the -31.5 spread comfortably on home court tonight.
