Caruso contributed four points (1-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six steals, three assists and one rebound in 20 minutes during Saturday's 108-91 loss to the 76ers.

Caruso struggled offensively but finished with a career high in steals. He has been held to single digits in scoring in six straight games, and Caruso has actually been less impactful here in 2019-20 than he was last year, although he has already appeared in a career-best 43 games this season.

Caruso (neck) is available for Saturday's game against Houston, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports.

Caruso was forced to exit Wednesday's loss to the Magic early after being elbowed in the mouth. Fortunately, he's cleared concussion protocol and doesn't appear to have any lingering effects. Look for Caruso to take on his usual rotational role in which he's averaged 5.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 steal in 19.2 minutes so far this season.

Caruso won't return to Wednesday's game against the Magic after being elbowed in the mouth during the first quarter, Kyle Goon of The Orange County Register reports.

Caruso is enmeshed in the concussion protocol after taking an errant elbow from Mo Bamba. He'll be re-evaluated tomorrow and is at risk of being held out of Saturday's game against Houston depending on how well he's able to recover. Look for Troy Daniels and Quinn Cook to see an increase in minutes as long as Caruso's absent.

Caruso tallied 10 points, six assists and one rebound in 23 minutes during Monday's 128-99 victory over Cleveland.

Caruso handed out six assists Sunday and could be in for an increased role over the next few games. Rajon Rondo (finger) could miss the next week of action making Caruso an intriguing target in deeper formats. The impending return of Anthony Davis (back) could certainly put a dampener on Caruso's opportunity, negating any appeal he might have in standard leagues.

Caruso was unable to return to the Lakers' preseason finale due to a pelvis injury, Mike Trudell of the Lakers' official site reports.

The severity of the injury is not known at this time. Caruso is expected to provide guard depth when healthy this season. The Lakers tip off the season Tuesday against the Clippers. More clarity on his status should come out ahead of the contest.
