Dinwiddie performed as a platoon with D'Angelo Russell, so while it's a concern for Russell's fantasy managers, Reaves' output appears to be safe, It wasn't a great shooting night for Reaves. but his seven dimes and a flawless night at the charity stripe boosted his fnatasy total.

Reaves supplied 27 points (10-15 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), two rebounds and four assists over 31 minutes during Friday's 139-122 victory over the Pelicans.

Reaves' shooting stroke was superb in the blowout win, and he put together his third-best scoring total of the season as a result. He's coming off two consecutive double-doubles, and while it looks like the Lakers are days away from offering a contract to Spencer Dinwiddie, Reaves is playing at a high level and it would be difficult to imagine coach Darvin Ham demoting the Oklahoma product.

Reaves provided 15 points (6-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, 10 assists and two steals over 36 minutes during Thursday's 114-106 loss to the Nuggets.

It's his second straight game with double-digit dimes, and his fifth double-double of the season. Reaves has started 19 straight games, taking over that role at the beginning of January, and in that time the third-year guard is averaging 16.3 points, 6.3 assists, 3.0 boards, 1.7 threes and 0.9 steals.

Reaves notched 22 points (6-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 7-8 FT), six rebounds, seven assists and two blocks in 39 minutes during Saturday's 113-105 victory over New York.

Reaves is operating with scoring conviction that is a legitimate swing factor in the Lakers' day-to-day success. His re-ignited foul-drawing prowess is yielding 6.6 free-throw attempts across his last five games, which is a huge improvement from the 3.3 free throws he averaged throughout his first 46 appearances this season. He averaged 4.1 free-throw attempts per game last season.

Reaves notched 32 points (10-18 FG, 7-10 3Pt, 5-7 FT), two rebounds and three assists across 35 minutes during Thursday's 114-105 win over the Celtics.

The Lakers were without their two most dominant players, Anthony Davis (Achilles) and LeBron James (ankle), against the best home team in the league Thursday, but Reaves stepped up his game and notched an impressive outing, tallying a career-high mark in threes made and a season-high mark in points. Reaves is averaging 16.5 points, 5.7 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game since the beginning of January.

Reaves finished with 28 points (10-19 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-7 FT), six assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Tuesday's 138-122 loss to the Hawks.

With Antonio Davis (Achilles/hip) sidelined, Reaves came through with his best scoring effort of the season, but LeBron James was his only teammate to deliver 20 or more points. Reaves moved into the starting lineup at the beginning of January but his usage and production hasn't changed much, and the third-year guard averaged 15.5 points, 5.9 assists, 2.9 boards, 1.4 threes and 0.9 steals through 15 games on the month while shooting 50.6 percent from the floor.

Reaves contributed eight points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, five assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Monday's 135-119 loss to the Rockets.

Reaves regressed after averaging 16.0 points on 11.8 shots over his last four contests, and his lack of firepower offensively is especially disappointing in the context of Anthony Davis (Achilles/groin) being hobbled. Houston's fifth-ranked defense is truly formidable, however, with Tuesday's matchup against Atlanta representing a bounce-back opportunity for Reaves.

Reaves accumulated 20 points (7-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and eight assists in 33 minutes during Thursday's 141-132 victory over Chicago.

The Lakers went over 60 percent from the floor as a team in the win, and Reaves deserves credit for missing only one of his eight shot attempts. Although Reaves still shows a lot of variance in his stat lines, he's started every game in January and is averaging 14.9 points, 5.9 assists and 3.2 rebounds over 12 games with the first unit.

Reaves ended with nine points (4-12 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, five assists and one steal over 33 minutes during Friday's 130-112 loss to the Nets.

Reaves struggled to find any rhythm in the loss, scoring no more than 15 points for the sixth time in the past seven games. Despite moving back into the starting lineup, Reaves has been unable to make the most of the situation. He is barely inside the top 100 over the past month, leaving a lot of managers feeling unfulfilled.

Reaves provided 15 points (6-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and one block across 33 minutes during Monday's 112-105 victory over Oklahoma City.

Reaves scored double-digits for the seventh time in the past eight games, delivering another serviceable yet underwhelming fantasy performance. Currently, the 99th-ranked player in standard leagues, Reaves has been unable to build any real momentum this season. At this point, managers need to hope he can get hot for a stretch of games, at which point executing a sell-high could be on the cards.

Reaves supplied 11 points (3-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Tuesday's 132-131 victory over Toronto.

Reaves had some trouble finding the bottom of the basket from long range, but he had an otherwise respectable showing in another start. D'Angelo Russell is active once again, and although the team will probably restrict his minutes over the next week, it will be interesting to see what happens to Reaves once Russell is 100 percent. Reaves will likely give way to Russell, but he's played well enough to get a starting spot. His numbers may fall if he is relegated to the second unit.

Reaves closed Friday's 127-113 loss to the Grizzlies with 19 points (8-14 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, 12 assists and two steals in 40 minutes.

The Lakers are in a bit of a death spiral since winning the In-Season Tournament, losing 10 of 13 games since hoisting the trophy in Vegas. Giving Austin Reaves the kind of playing time he had last season could serve as good remedy for what ails them. Although Reaves got the start at point guard due to D'Angelo Russell's (lower body), coach Darvin Ham won't commit to a starting role for him despite his stellar play during the team's rally through the playoffs last season. Reaves is worth a spot on your bench in hopes that he'll break through with a consistent role in the future.

Reaves had 24 points (7-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 8-9 FT), five rebounds and eight assists in 37 minutes during Wednesday's 110-96 loss to the Heat.

Reaves got the start for the first time since Dec. 15 thanks to better stat lines to end the month, and although the Lakers came up short, coach Darvin Ham might be inclined to give Reaves his old job back. Jarred Vanderbilt has played well but isn't the best fit for the Lakers' scheme, as Reaves' off-the-ball skills combined with his passing ability complement LeBron James and the other playmakers. The lineup will shuffle again when D'Angelo Russell (lower body) returns to action, but drawing the start was an encouraging sign of increased confidence in Reaves.

Reaves is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Heat, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Reaves will replace Jarred Vanderbilt in the starting five Wednesday. Reaves is averaging 17.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.6 steals in 34.4 minutes across his last five starting appearances.

Reaves failed to record an assist for the first time since Christmas of 2022. He was also unable to continue the momentum of knocking down 45.3 percent of 5.8 triples across his last 11 games. It's strange to see such hapless struggles from a dynamic player with the poise that Reaves showed last season, but he had been amid a strong stretch of play and profiles as a bounce-back candidate Wednesday against Miami.

Reaves logged 20 points (7-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and two steals over 27 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 118-111 loss to the Timberwolves.

The 25-year-old scored at least 20 points for the fourth straight game and sixth time in the last eight, a stretch in which Reaves has delivered 19.6 points, 5.5 assists, 4.6 boards, 2.9 threes and 0.8 steals a game. After a breakout 2022-23 season, Reaves is showing that he hasn't yet reached his ceiling, and he's become a key secondary contributor for the Lakers behind LeBron James (ankle) and Anthony Davis.

He got a start Friday night thanks to a scratch from D'Angelo Russell, and is consistently outplaying the teammates ahead of him on the depth chart.

Reaves drew a spot start Friday against the Spurs, but he'll revert to a bench role with D'Angelo Russell back in action. Reaves is averaging 18.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.0 steals over his last five contests as a reserve.

Anthony Davis and LeBron James were massive for the Lakers in this title-clinching win, but an argument could be made to say the Lakers wouldn't have won this easily hadn't Reaves delivered such a massive boost with his play off the bench. He came through every time the Lakers needed him, and he finished as the Lakers' second-best scorer behind Davis. Reaves has cleared the 15-point mark in each of his last four outings.

Reaves amassed 17 points (5-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 23 minutes during Thursday's 133-89 victory over the Pelicans.

When the Lakers needed an offensive boost off the bench, Reaves was there. When the team needed another playmaker, a big shot or a stop on defense, Reaves was there as well. Despite coming off the bench, he delivered an impressive outing on both ends of the court and was instrumental as the Lakers built a massive lead in the third quarter, one they'd never relinquish. Reaves is expected to play a big role off the bench once again when the Lakers take on the Pacers in the In-Season Tournament final on Saturday.

Reaves produced 20 points (7-16 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds and two assists in 27 minutes during Tuesday's 106-103 win over the Suns.

Reaves provided a spark off the Lakers bench in a winning effort, leading the team in threes made while finishing as one of three players with 20 or more points. Reaves, who shined in the second half while scoring 16 of his 20 points in the final two quarters, recorded his third game of 20 or more points this season and his first since notching a season-high 23 points Nov. 6 against Miami.

Reaves finished with 18 points (6-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, one assist and three steals over 22 minutes during Saturday's 107-97 win over the Rockets.

Reaves looked more like the 2022-23 version of himself Saturday, making shots all over the floor during the win. He also looked great last Thursday and had put up several double-digit totals with the second unit, but coach Darvin Han doesn't seem ready to put Reaves back in the starting lineup yet. Taurean Prince isn't playing well enough to keep Reaves on the bench, so a change may come sooner rather than later.

Reaves supplied six points (3-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt), three rebounds, four assists and one block across 24 minutes during Wednesday's 133-107 win over the Pistons.

Reaves had scored in double figures in five consecutive appearances leading up to Wednesday's matchup, but he couldn't connect on any of his attempts from beyond the arc in the comfortable win over the Pistons. He's had consistent playing time over his 11 appearances since taking on a bench role, averaging 13.7 points, 5.7 assists and 5.2 rebounds in 28.3 minutes per game.

Reaves totaled 15 points (4-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), five rebounds, 10 assists and two steals across 32 minutes during Saturday's 121-115 win over the Cavaliers.

The Lakers racked up a hearty 34 assists as a team in the victory, and Reaves led the way with 10. That was a season-high mark for the talented guard and allowed him to notch his third double-double of the campaign. Reaves is in the midst of arguably his best stretch of the season, averaging 17.0 points, 6.8 dimes, 5.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals over his past four games.

Reaves accumulated 17 points (7-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds and six assists across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 104-101 loss to the Mavericks.

Reaves finished as the Lakers' second-leading scorer in the contest, trailing only LeBron James, who scored 26 points. Reaves rounded out his versatile performance with six boards and six dimes, the latter of which was also the second-best mark on the team. The third-year guard has been very consistent of late, posting at least 17 points, five rebounds and five assists in each of his past three games. His numbers have improved since transitioning to a bench role eight contests ago, so it wouldn't be surprising for the Lakers to keep deploying him as the team's sixth man for the foreseeable future.

Reaves finished Sunday's 105-104 win over the Rockets with 17 points (5-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds and six assists across 25 minutes.

Reaves has thrived since moving to the bench and posted another solid all-around performance. Aside from flirting with triple-doubles twice in the six games he's played off the bench, Reaves has scored in double digits four times in that span. He's averaging 13.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 0.3 steals per game since moving to the second unit.

Reaves closed with nine points (4-10 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, eight assists and one steal over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 125-110 loss to Sacramento.

A rebound and a couple of assists were all that separated Reaves from a triple-double. The resurgent play of Cam Reddish keeps Reaves out of the starting lineup, and the team doesn't seem ready to give him the load he enjoyed during last season's playoff run. He's worked his way out of his early-season slump, but it will likely take a cold streak from Reddish or Taurean Prince for Reaves to gain any traction on the depth chart.

Reaves notched 16 points (5-9 FG, 4-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 12 rebounds and seven assists across 29 minutes during Tuesday's 134-107 victory over Memphis.

Reaves has operated off the bench for the past three games, but the move hasn't negatively impacted his production. During that stretch, he's averaged 16.3 points, 6.0 assists and 5.7 rebounds in 30.7 minutes per game. Reaves' output Tuesday was probably a bit skewed, as he saw increased usage in the second half as the Lakers built a massive lead, but fantasy managers should still be encouraged about the third-year wing's recent production.

Reaves will come off the bench in Friday's matchup with the Suns, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The Lakers are looking to shake things up and will start Cam Reddish. However, Reaves will presumably still see a similar workload off the bench. It remains to be seen if Los Angeles will stick with this starting lineup going forward.

The Lakers came up short Monday and had to settle for a loss, but the defeat can't be placed on Reaves' shoulders, as he delivered his best performance of the season -- by a wide margin -- while ending just one assist away from a triple-double. Reaves endured a tough start to the season, but given Anthony Davis suffered a groin injury that should make him at least questionable to face the Rockets on Wednesday, he'd have to handle a bigger role on offense, presumably as the second option behind LeBron James.

Reaves struggled for much of Wednesday's contest, but he came up big when it mattered most, tallying seven of his 15 points in overtime. The 25-year-old complemented his scoring with seven dimes, seven assists and three steals in his best overall performance of the campaign. The Lakers will hope that the strong finish to Wednesday's OT victory gets Reaves going, as he came into the contest averaging a disappointing 10.0 points on 33.3 percent shooting from the field (including 25.0 percent from deep) over the team's first four games.

Reaves had five points (1-12 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal over 28 minutes during Sunday's 132-127 overtime loss to the Kings.

Reaves posted double-digit scoring totals in his first two games of the season, but he had a massive uptick in shot volume from long range Sunday and was unable to get many attempts to fall. Despite his struggles from beyond the arc Sunday, he shot a career-high 39.8 percent from three-point range last year and will have more encouraging stat lines when he can get his shot to fall.

Reaves produced 14 points (4-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-7 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and two steals in 31 minutes during Tuesday's 119-107 loss to the Nuggets.

Reaves had a tough night from the field, but he still delivered a solid stat line, particularly with the eight rebounds and two steals. He's going to score in double digits on a regular basis since he will likely operate as the Lakers' third scoring option behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but what will truly separate him from the rest will be his ability to stuff the stat sheet in other categories outside of scoring.

Reaves tallied 14 points (4-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in 23 minutes during Thursday's 123-100 preseason loss to the Suns.

Reaves played a team-high 23 minutes Thursday and tied with LeBron James for the most three-pointers made with three. While the third-year guard posted impressive defensive numbers, he was the only Lakers starter to record a negative point differential (-3). Reaves is set to be Los Angeles' starting shooting guard for the 2023-24 campaign.

Reaves is starting Thursday's preseason game against Denver, according to Lakers sideline reporter Mike Trudell.

Reaves and LeBron James were both rested Sunday against the Bucks, but there are no injuries to report. Reaves has had a terrific preseason so far and will look to keep it going Thursday.

Reaves's impressive playoff run prompted Los Angeles to bring him back long-term. The 25-year-old guard started in all 16 of his postseason appearances and the final 11 games of the regular season. While he may not have the highest long-term ceiling, Reaves has the makings of a rock-solid role player who will have a good chance to stick around in the league for many years.

Reaves looks as though he'll continue to stick in a 20-plus-minute role while the Lakers turn to a slew of players to pick up the slack while Anthony Davis (foot) is out, but the 23-year-old's upside isn't particularly high. Over his prior four starts, Reaves posted modest averages of 4.8 points, 2.0 assists, 1.5 rebounds, 1.0 blocks, 0.5 three-pointers and 0.5 steals in 24.3 minutes.

Reaves (ankle) is available for Tuesday's game against the Mavericks.

No surprise here, as Reaves was initially probable. He's started the past two games but remains a low-usage player who gets playing time due to his defense and hustle.

With the return of LeBron James (knee), Reaves played fewer than 20 minutes for the first time over his last seven games. The rookie point guard is averaging 5.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 21.3 minutes, but he doesn't offer much fantasy potential unless one of more of the Lakers' big three is sidelined.

Reaves totaled 16 points (6-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes during Friday's 117-114 loss to the Hornets.

With Anthony Davis (wrist), LeBron James (knee) and Malik Monk (groin) all sidelined Friday, Reaves attempted a career-high 12 field-goal attempts en route to his eighth double-digit scoring outing of the season. The 6-foot-5 rookie also grabbed a season-high eight rebounds during the loss. Reaves has garnered a sizable role off the bench, but his production hasn't been consistent enough to trust on a game-by-game basis. However, if the Lakers continue to deal with injuries to their stars, then Reaves will likely be a primary beneficiary.

Reaves ended with 19 points (7-10 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and three rebounds in 28 minutes during Wednesday's 125-116 loss to the Kings.

Reaves was one of only three Lakers to finish with double-digit scoring in the contest, joining LeBron James (34 points) and Malik Monk (22 points). The rookie's point total was the highest of his career, and he reached the mark largely from beyond the arc, where he knocked down four of seven tries. Reaves has been inconsistent at times and doesn't produce much in terms of peripheral stats, but the fact that he has earned valuable minutes and has enjoyed some strong performances speaks volumes considering the minimal role he was expected to fill coming into the season.

Reaves ended Sunday's 127-119 loss to Memphis with 16 points (6-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and one block in 23 minutes.

Reeves continues to see 20-to-25 minutes off the bench on most nights, but this marked his first time scoring more than 10 points since Dec. 15. Reeves missed a stretch of games in mid-December due to COVID-19 protocols, however. The rookie out of Oklahoma remains a key bench piece for the struggling Lakers, but he provides more real-life value than fantasy value at this stage.

Reaves (conditioning) is off the injury report for Friday's contest against the Trail Blazers, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.

Reaves has missed the past seven games due to protocols and conditioning. He could be re-inserted into the rotation if he's gotten his wind back.
