Teases triple-double Sunday
Podziemski totaled 21 points (7-13 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 29 minutes during Sunday's 123-91 victory over the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski remained out of the starting lineup despite the absence of Stephen Curry (quadriceps), but that didn't stop him from drilling five triples and flirting with a triple-double off the bench. Over his last nine games, Podziemski has averaged 14.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.3 steals in 26.8 minutes per contest.
Dec 6, 2025
Coming off bench
Podziemski will come off the bench Saturday against the Cavaliers, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski is coming off a dud with six points (2-8 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and one steal in 20 minutes against the 76ers on Thursday. The Warriors are in need of a spark and will turn to Pat Spencer and Buddy Hield in the backcourt.
Dec 5, 2025
Struggles in loss
Podziemski finished Thursday's 99-98 loss to the 76ers with six points (2-8 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and one steal in 20 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski started for the third consecutive game with Stephen Curry (quadriceps) sidelined, but missed all five three-pointers taken and tied a team high with three turnovers in Thursday's loss to the 76ers. The 22-year-old guard is averaging 12.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.0 steals in 27.0 minutes over the past three games in Curry's absence.
Nov 30, 2025
Scores 15 points Saturday
Podziemski accumulated 15 points (5-13 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, six assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Saturday's 104-96 win over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski moved to the starting lineup due to the absence of Stephen Curry (quadriceps) and posted a decent line, although his shooting numbers left a lot to be desired. Podziemski seems to be finding a new gear on offense and has scored in double digits in six of his last eight contests. He should remain in the starting lineup as long as Curry is out, but with the way he's been scoring, it wouldn't be odd if he ended up moving to the first unit on a permanent basis in the future.
Nov 29, 2025
Starting sans Curry
Podziemski will start Saturday's game against the Pelicans, Danny Emerman of SFStandard.com reports.
ANALYSIS
With Stephen Curry (quadriceps) sidelined, Podziemski will get the starting nod. Over his last five starts, the 22-year-old guard has averaged 14.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists across 31.4 minutes per contest.
Nov 22, 2025
Another 20-point performance
Podziemski had 20 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 8-10 FT), three assists and three steals across 30 minutes during Friday's 127-123 loss to the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski moved back to the bench but managed to score at least 20 points for the second straight game. After a rocky start to the season, Podziemski appears to be slowly figuring things out. In four games over the past week, he has averaged 16.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 2.0 three-pointers in 29.2 minutes per contest.
Nov 21, 2025
Returns to reserves
Podziemski will come off the bench for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski made a start Wednesday with the Warriors down three starters, but he'll return to the second unit Friday. In nine games with the reserves, Podziemski is averaging 10.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.4 steals across 25.8 minutes.
Nov 19, 2025
Struggles with shot in loss
Podziemski accumulated 20 points (6-19 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), eight rebounds and two assists across 34 minutes during Wednesday's 110-96 loss to the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski had a tough time getting his shot to drop with Davion Mitchell playing some suffocating defense, but he did a nice job of battling for the boards and getting easy buckets at the charity stripe. Stephen Curry (ankle) should be back for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers, so expect Podziemski to return to a reserve role for that one.
Nov 19, 2025
Drawing spot start
Podziemski is starting Wednesday's game against the Heat, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski will step into the starting lineup for the first time since Nov. 9 while Stephen Curry nurses an ankle injury. Podziemski has started eight times so far this season and has tallied double figures in the scoring column in five of those contests.
Nov 15, 2025
Posts 10 points in reserve role
Podziemski produced 10 points (3-8 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one block in 30 minutes during Friday's 109-108 win over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Podzeimski was sent back to the bench after Stephen Curry's return earlier in the week, and it appears that he will remain there in the short term. Coach Steve Kerr elected to run with Will Richard and Moses Moody alongside Curry for both games against San Antonio, a trend that's likely to continue when the team takes on the Pelicans this weekend. Podziemski's numbers have been nothing special despite starting seven of 14 games this season.
Nov 11, 2025
Coming off bench Tuesday
Podziemski won't start Tuesday's game against the Thunder, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ANALYSIS
With Stephen Curry (illness) returning from a three-game absence Tuesday, Podziemski will slide to the second unit. Over four games off the bench this season, the 22-year-old guard has averaged 10.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.8 steals in 24.8 minutes per contest.
Nov 5, 2025
Starting Wednesday
Podziemski (wrist) is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game in Sacramento, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
With Stephen Curry (illness), Jimmy Butler (back) and Draymond Green (ribs) all unavailable for Wednesday's game, Podziemski figures to be operating as one of Golden State's primary playmakers. Joining him in the first unit will be Will Richard, Moses Moody, Jonathan Kuminga and Quinten Post.
Nov 5, 2025
Questionable for Wednesday
Podziemski is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Kings with left wrist soreness.
ANALYSIS
The Warriors are already very thin Wednesday -- Stephen Curry (illness) is out, and Jimmy Butler (back) and Draymond Green (ribs) are both questionable. If Podziemski doesn't get the green light to play, the Warriors could turn to guys like Moses Moody and Buddy Hield.
Nov 4, 2025
Moving to bench Tuesday
Podziemski won't start in Tuesday's game against the Suns, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
With Quinten Post entering the starting five, Podziemski will slide to the second unit. Over three regular-season appearances off the bench thus far, the 22-year-old shooting guard has averaged 9.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.0 steals in 25.0 minutes per contest.
Nov 1, 2025
Starting Saturday
Podziemski will start in Saturday's game against the Pacers, John Dickinson of 95.7 The Game San Francisco reports.
ANALYSIS
The 22-year-old shooting guard will return to the starting lineup, pushing Quinten Post to the bench. Over three starts this season, Podziemski has averaged 13.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 33.0 minutes per contest.
Oct 30, 2025
Fourth-year option picked up
The Warriors announced Thursday that they have exercised the fourth-year team option on Podziemski's contract.
ANALYSIS
The move keeps the guard under team control for the for 2026-27 campaign. Podziemski has been settling in as a key member of the Golden State backcourt over the past two years, and he has averaged 12.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals in 29.6 minutes per contest over five games (three starts) this season.
Oct 28, 2025
Moving to bench Tuesday
Podziemski won't start in Tuesday's game against the Clippers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Quentin Post will replace Podziemski in the starting lineup for the second time this season. Over four regular-season appearances, the 22-year-old guard has averaged 12.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 30.3 minutes per game. He's also shooting 45.0 percent from three-point range.
Oct 28, 2025
Hits for 23 in Monday's win
Podziemski logged 23 points (8-14 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, six assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Monday's 131-118 win over Memphis.
ANALYSIS
The third-year guard made his third start in four games to begin the season and responded with his best scoring effort so far. Podziemski and Quinten Post have split the open spot in the starting five while 39-year-old Al Horford (toe) gets treated very gingerly in the early going, and the fact that the Warriors are 3-0 with the smaller alignment probably bodes well for Podziemski's workload. In those three starts, he's averaging 13.7 points, 4.7 boards, 3.0 assists, 2.7 threes and 1.0 steals in 33.0 minutes a game.
Oct 27, 2025
Joins starting five Monday
Podziemski is in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski returns to the starting lineup after coming off the bench Friday, following starts in the first two games of the season. By re-inserting the Santa Clara product into the opening five, the Warriors opt for a smaller look, sending Quinten Post back to the bench.
Oct 24, 2025
Moving to bench role
Podziemski is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski started the Warriors' first two games of the season, but he'll slot back to a role while Quentin Post moves to the first unit. Podziemski scored 11 points and grabbed three rebounds in Thursday's overtime win over the Nuggets.
Oct 22, 2025
Quiet in start
Podziemski registered seven points (3-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal across 33 minutes during Tuesday's 119-109 win over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski started this game, but Golden State's lineups could be fluid a lot of nights depending on matchups. Some nights, Podziemski could come off the bench if the Warriors decide to add more size to the first unit in Al Horford. Podziemski's workload was encouraging Tuesday, but his role in the offense left a lot to be desired.
Oct 17, 2025
Returns Friday
Podziemski sustained a left hip contusion in Friday's preseason game against the Clippers but returned with 3:50 remaining in the first quarter, Danny Emerman of SFStandard.com reports.

Oct 17, 2025
Leaves for locker room Friday
Podziemski exited to the locker room after sustaining an apparent lower-leg injury in the first quarter of Friday's preseason game against the Clippers, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski exited the game with 9:39 remaining in the opening quarter and required assistance walking to the locker room. If the 22-year-old shooting guard is unable to return, Buddy Hield and Gary Payton are candidates for an uptick in playing time the rest of the way.
Oct 13, 2025
Leads all scorers in loss
Podziemski amassed 23 points (10-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt), eight assists, five rebounds and one steal in 26 minutes during Sunday's preseason loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski did all the right things despite the loss, stepping up in the absence of Stephen Curry (undisclosed), Moses Moody (calf), Jimmy Butler (personal) and Al Horford (rest), who were all given the night off. All signs point to Podziemski building on what was a strong finish to the 2024-25 season, putting him firmly in the discussion as a late-round must-roster player.
Oct 11, 2025
Getting start Sunday
Podziemski will start Sunday's exhibition against the Lakers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Warriors will be without Stephen Curry (undisclosed), Moses Moody (calf), Jimmy Butler (personal) and Al Horford (rest) Sunday. Podziemski has been quiet in the preseason so far, posting averages of 6.5 points, 3.5 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 17.8 minutes across two appearances.
Oct 8, 2025
Coming off bench Wednesday

Sep 30, 2025
Recovered from offseason surgery
Podziemski (abdomen) is fully healthy for the start of training camp, John Dickinson of 95.7 The Game San Francisco reports.
ANALYSIS
After undergoing surgery back in mid-June to repair a core muscle injury, Podziemski is facing no restrictions ahead of the upcoming season. The 2023 first-rounder is set to handle a significant role for the Warriors in 2025-26, though it remains to be seen if he'll start over Buddy Hield at shooting guard. Following the new year in 2024-25, Podziemski averaged 14.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.2 steals in 29.2 minutes per game over his final 34 regular-season outings.
Apr 13, 2025
Efficient 19 points with full line
Podziemski totaled 19 points (7-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-5 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals across 43 minutes during Sunday's 124-119 overtime loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski led the Warriors in rebounding Sunday, and he'll head into Tuesday's Play-In Tournament contest with plenty of momentum. The second-year guard settled into a starting role during the second half of the campaign, and he's averaged 18.4 points, 6.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.1 steals and 3.6 three-pointers in 31.7 minutes across his last nine appearances. During this span, Podziemski is shooting a scorching 52.5 percent from downtown.
Apr 7, 2025
Stays hot despite loss
Podziemski put up 19 points (7-14 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, four assists and a steal in 31 minutes of action during Sunday's 106-96 loss to the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
The sophomore wing had yet another good night, punctuating a career-best three-game stretch - in which he's averaged 24.3 points and 7.3 rebounds on 57.4 percent shooting - nicely. He's someone to keep an eye on in deeper format leagues, although in an offence already spearheaded by Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler, he'll have a hard time seeing enough of the ball to make him reliable for fantasy purposes.
Apr 5, 2025
Drops 26 points in victory
Podziemski recorded 26 points (10-16 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and two steals across 36 minutes during Friday's 118-104 win over the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski followed up his second-best scoring total of the season with another excellent line against the Nuggets, who were short-handed without Jamal Murray's (hamstring) services. Although the Santa Clara product cam off the bench to begin the season, he now has a firm hold on a spot with the first unit. Aside from a recent five-game absence, Podziemski has made 18 consecutive starts.
Apr 4, 2025
Drills eight three-pointers in win
Podziemski provided 28 points (10-17 FG, 8-10 3Pt), eight rebounds, six assists and one steal across 36 minutes during Thursday's 123-116 victory over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski's eight three-pointers marked a career high for the standout guard, who bounced back after a poor showing against the Grizzlies. The tepid game against Memphis marked his only single-digit scoring total since returning from a five-game absence. Although Podziemski's three-point conversion rate for the season isn't great, he's converted 51.7 of his attempts over the past eight games.
Mar 31, 2025
Erupts for big line
Podziemski chipped in 27 points (9-14 FG, 7-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one steal over 27 minutes during Sunday's 148-106 victory over the Spurs.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski did all his damage in 27 minutes of this blowout win, finishing two points shy of his season-high mark (29). Podziemski is trending in the right direction, returning sixth-round value in nine-category formats over his last six games with 16.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.5 three-pointers.
Mar 26, 2025
Remains consistent
Podziemski finished with 14 points (6-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 0-1 FT), three rebounds, four assists and two steals over 30 minutes during Tuesday's 112-86 loss to Miami.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski is having a more prominent role on offense due to the absence of Stephen Curry (pelvis), and the second-year guard has proven he can handle the role. There are games in which his shot hasn't been falling regularly, but more often than not, he's doing a solid job across the board. Over his last four outings, Podziemski is averaging 16.3 points per game while making 50 percent of his three-point attempts.
Mar 21, 2025
Notches 15 points
Podziemski contributed 15 points (6-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one steal over 35 minutes during Thursday's 117-114 victory over the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Stephen Curry is expected to miss the start of Golden State's six-game road trip while he receives treatment for his pelvic contusion. With Curry out at leas one game, Podziemski is likely to see a bump in usage in the meantime. Podziemski has fared well in his last two outings, averaging 16.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.5 three-pointers.
Mar 19, 2025
Notches 17 points in loss
Podziemski chipped in 17 points (6-10 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal over 29 minutes during Tuesday's 104-93 victory over the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Stephen Curry (rest) sat this game out, allowing Podziemski to fill in as the starter. Podziemski has been trending up in recent games, posting 10th-round value in nine-category formats over his last 10 games with averages of 13.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.9 three-pointers.
Mar 18, 2025

ANALYSIS
Podziesmki has been upgraded from questionable to available Tuesday after missing Golden State's last five games due to a lower back strain. With Stephen Curry (rest) out, Podziemski will make his 20th starting appearance of the season. Across those previous 19 outings, the 22-year-old guard has averaged 13.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 30.5 minutes.
Mar 18, 2025
Questionable Tuesday
Podziemski (back) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Bucks.
ANALYSIS

Mar 14, 2025
Not playing Saturday

ANALYSIS

ANALYSIS

Mar 8, 2025

ANALYSIS

Mar 7, 2025
Questionable for Saturday
Podziemski (back) has been listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Pistons.

Stephen Curry led the way for the Warriors with an impressive 28-point performance, but Podziemski also made his presence felt in the backcourt, either via his scoring ability or in other categories. The second-year guard returned to the starting unit right before the All-Star break but has posted solid numbers over his last seven appearances, scoring in double digits six times over that stretch while averaging 14.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

ANALYSIS
The 6-foot-4 Podziemski led both teams in rebounding Sunday as he recorded his first double-double of the regular season. ANALYSIS
Podziemski earned his second consecutive start over Buddy Hield, generating another double-digit scoring performance. The guard's result matched his second-highest scoring total of the season, and i appear that he'll play a key role with the new-look Warriors down the stretch, especially if he continues to start over Hield.
Feb 13, 2025
Likely to remain a starter
Podziemski will likely remain in the starting lineup for the Warriors moving forward, head coach Steve Kerr said, Danny Emerman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski has made enough of an impression on Kerr that Buddy Hield may be forced to have a bench role for the Warriors for the rest of the season. The 21-year-old guard finished with 18 points, five rebounds, four assists, four steals and a block, capping an impressive all-around performance in Thursday's win against the Rockets.
Feb 13, 2025

Podziemski has been in the Warriors' starting lineup for the last two games, but he will come off the bench Saturday as the newly acquired Jimmy Butler makes his Golden State debut. Podziemski averaged 14.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.0 steals over 26.5 minutes per game over his last eight outings.
Feb 6, 2025
Scores career-high 29 points
Podziemski produced 29 points (8-18 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 10-13 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal across 40 minutes during Wednesday's 131-128 loss to the Jazz.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski set a new career-high mark in scoring, piling up 29 points in his ninth start of the season. Over these nine outing in Golden State's first unit, Podziemski has averaged 14.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.6 threes in 33.1 minutes. It's unclear if the 2023 first-rounder will stay with the starters once Jimmy Butler joins the mix, but Podziemski certainly made a case to do so with Wednesday's performance.
Feb 5, 2025
In first unit
Podziemski is part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Jazz, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski will make his first start since Dec. 6 as the short-handed Warriors endure the roster turnover from Wednesday's trade that landed Golden State Jimmy Butler. Until Butler arrives and is deemed available, Podziemski should be expected to remain in the first unit, giving him some short-term fantasy value.
Jan 29, 2025
Steps up with 20 points
Podziemski ended Tuesday's 114-103 win over the Jazz with 20 points (5-12 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds, six assists and one steal over 32 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Stephen Curry (knee) missed this game, but could be back for Wednesday's game against the Thunder. Podziemski and Dennis Schroder soaked up most of his usage, combining for 43 points in the win. Podziemski has been far from reliable this season, but he's trending up with averages of 15.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 3.0 three-pointers over his last three games.
Jan 26, 2025
Scores 17 points off bench
Podziemski produced 17 points (6-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, five assists and two steals across 24 minutes during Saturday's 118-108 loss to the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
At times, it seemed as if Podziemski was the only Golden State player trying to mount a comeback in the second half. The second-year guard has settled into a bench role but has been productive, tallying 27 total points, seven rebounds, seven assists and three steals in his two games since returning from a lengthy 12-game absence last Thursday, Jan. 23.
Jan 25, 2025
Will play against Lakers
Podziemski (abdomen) is available for Saturday's game against the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski returned from a 12-game absence Thursday against the Bulls due to a right abdominal strain. He was able to play 21 minutes off the bench in that contest, and he should have a similar workload in Saturday's Western Conference clash.
Jan 24, 2025
Expected to play Saturday vs. LAL
Podziemski (abdomen) is listed as probable for Saturday's game against the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski had missed 12 games due to a right abdominal strain, but he returned Thursday against the Bulls and finished that game with 10 points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal over 21 minutes in a 131-106 win. He's not quite 100 percent healed, but he's progressed enough in his recovery to be able to play through it Saturday.
Jan 24, 2025
Goes for 10 points in return
Podziemski (abdomen) recorded 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 21 minutes off the bench Thursday in the Warriors' 131-106 win over the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
After missing the Warriors' last 12 games due to a right abdominal injury, Podziemski received the green light to return and was one of five bench players to log at least 19 minutes in the win. The Warriors have started Buddy Hield at shooting guard in the past two games, but he provided just three points on 1-for-7 shooting from the field in his 19 minutes and could be phased out to some degree if Golden State wanted to open up more playing time for Podziemski. Before that comes to fruition, however, Podziemski will likely need to show that he can be a more consistent perimeter threat while playing alongside Stephen Curry. Even after the 2-for-4 showing from downtown Thursday, Podziemski is connecting on just 30.3 percent of his three-point attempts for the season.
Jan 23, 2025
Available vs. Chicago
Podziemski (abdomen) has been cleared to play in Thursday's game against the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
After missing the last 12 games for the Warriors with an abdominal injury, Podzemski was not on the team's injury report ahead of Thursday's game against Chicago. It may be good timing for Golden State, with Stephen Curry (knee) listed as questionable against the Bulls.
Jan 21, 2025
Will miss 12th straight game
Podziemski (abdomen) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Despite being set to miss his 12th straight game with the abdominal strain, the young guard appears to be trending in the right direction and will be able to return to the floor for the Warriors sooner rather than later. In the 30 games he has played for Golden State this season, the 21-year-old has averaged 8.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, shooting 40.4 percent from the floor and 29.5 percent from beyond the arc.
Jan 19, 2025
Remains out, but progressing
Podziemski (abdomen) is listed as out for Monday's game against the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski will miss his 11th consecutive game due to right abdominal injury management, but he appears to be drawing closer to a return. Per Danny Emerman of the San Jose Mercury News, head coach Steve Kerr said that Podziemski cleared a major milestone in his recovery by taking part in scrimmage work Friday. If Podziemski is able to practice again Tuesday, he could have a chance at being available for either or both games of the Warriors' Wednesday/Thursday back-to-back set versus the Kings and Bulls, respectively.
Jan 12, 2025
Not near return
Podziemski (abdomen) has started running at full speed but isn't near a return, Danny Emerman of Bay Area News Group reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski has been sidelined for the Warriors' last seven games due to an abdominal strain he suffered against the Suns on Dec. 28. Pat Spencer and Lindy Waters will continue to see more playing time off the bench for as long as Podziemski is sidelined.
Jan 12, 2025
Still out, not practicing
Coach Steve Kerr said Podziemski (abdomen) didn't practice Sunday and will remain out for Sunday's game against the Raptors, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski hasn't played since Dec. 28. His next chance to suit up will come Wednesday in Minnesota, but given he's still not practicing, Podziemski can be considered doubtful for future contests.
Jan 10, 2025
Another absence coming
Podziemski (abdomen) is out for Friday's game versus the Pacers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski's absence streak will extend to seven games Friday due to a right abdominal strain. His next chance to suit up is Monday's matchup with Toronto.
Jan 8, 2025
Remains sidelined for Thursday
Podziemski (abdomen) is out for Thursday's game against the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski will miss his sixth straight game due to a right abdominal strain, and his next chance to return for the Warriors comes during the second half of a back-to-back Friday against the Pacers. With Stephen Curry (knee), Dennis Schroder (hip) and Moses Moody (knee) all up in the air to play against Detroit, Golden State may be forced to give sharpshooter Buddy Hield a heavy dose of ball-handling duties.
Jan 6, 2025
Out for Tuesday
Podziemski (abdomen) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Heat.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski will miss his fourth consecutive outing due to a right-abdominal strain. However, he is now listed as out due to injury management, which means he could be nearing a return to game action. With the 21-year-old sidelined, Moses Moody and Buddy Hield are candidates for a bump in minutes. Podziemski's next chance to feature will come Thursday against Detroit.
Jan 5, 2025
Out against Sacramento
Podziemski (abdomen) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Kings.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski will miss his fourth straight game due to an abdominal strain. He's still considered day-to-day with the injury, and his next chance to play will be against the Heat on Tuesday. Buddy Hield and Moses Moody will continue to see increased minutes off the bench due to Podziemski's absence.
Jan 3, 2025
Won't play Saturday
Podziemski (abdomen) is out for Saturday's game against the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
This will be Podziemski's third straight absence, and it's uncertain if he'd recover in time for the second leg of the back-to-back set against the Kings on Sunday. The second-year guard is averaging 6.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 22 outings off the bench this season.
Jan 1, 2025
Out against Philadelphia
Podziemski (abdomen) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski suffered an abdominal strain in Saturday's win against the Suns and isn't ready to get back on the floor for the Warriors. Dennis Schroder and Buddy Hield will likely see a bump in minutes, especially with Gary Payton (calf) also on the mend.
Dec 30, 2024
Clean MRI, considered day-to-day
Head coach Steve Kerr said Monday that an MRI on Podziemski's abdomen came back clean and the second-year guard is considered day-to-day due to the injury, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski was forced to leave in the second quarter of Saturday's 109-105 win over the Suns due to a right abdominal strain. The 2023 first-round pick has avoided a serious injury, and while he won't play against the Cavaliers on Monday, there's a chance he could return for Thursday's game against the 76ers. Buddy Hield, Lindy Waters and Dennis Schroder should see increased playing time off the bench for as long as Podziemski is sidelined.
Dec 29, 2024
Won't play against Cleveland
Pdoziemski (abdomen) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski suffered a right abdominal injury during the Warriors' 109-105 win over the Suns, and he finished the contest with two rebounds over 11 minutes. Podziemski's absence means more minutes for Dennis Schroder, Buddy Hield and Lindy Waters on Monday. Podziemski's next chance to play will be against the 76ers on Thursday.
Dec 28, 2024
Won't return Saturday vs. Suns
Podziemski has been ruled out for the rest of Saturday's game against Phoenix due to a lower abdominal strain, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski likely suffered the injury in the second quarter of Saturday's game as he did not check in during the third quarter. He'll end his night with zero points and two rebounds over 11 minutes. Buddy Hield and Lindy Waters should see more playing time for the rest of the contest due to Podziemski's injury.
Dec 20, 2024
Drops season-high 21 in loss
Podziemski recorded a team-high 21 points (9-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, six assists and two steals in 25 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 144-93 loss to Memphis.
ANALYSIS
Andrew Wiggins was the only Golden State starter to score more than five points as the team was on the wrong end of the most lopsided result in the NBA this season. Podziemski snapped a stretch of five straight games scoring in single digits with the performance, and the 21 points were a season high for the second-year guard. While his over offensive production has been inconsistent, he has at least been reliable as a three-and-D player of late. Over the last eight games, Podziemski is averaging 9.9 points, 4.8 boards, 3.5 assists, 1.5 threes and 1.1 steals in 26.4 minutes a contest.
Dec 8, 2024
Coming off bench
Podziemski isn't starting Sunday's game against the Timberwolves, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski will come off the bench for the first time since Nov. 25 as the Warriors elect to roll out a new starting five. Buddy Hield will step into the starting shooting guard spot and Gary Payton gets the nod at small forward in Andrew Wiggins' (ankle) place.
Dec 7, 2024
Decent stat line Friday
Podziemski closed with eight points (3-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 25 minutes during Friday's 107-90 loss to the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski has started in Golden State's last five games but hasn't recorded 15 or more points in his last five outings, and he hasn't even reached the 10-point plateau in his last two. However, he remains valuable in fantasy due to his across-the-board contributions. Over that five-game stretch, Podziemski is averaging 10.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.0 steals per game. He's expected to remain in the starting lineup for the foreseeable future.
Dec 6, 2024
Grabs 12 rebounds as fill-in
Podziemski logged eight points (2-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds and three assists over 37 minutes during Thursday's 99-93 win over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski's 12 rebounds was a peculiar line for the point guard, who filled in for Stephen Curry (rest) in the victory. His rebound total was a season high by a fairly wide margin, and it salvaged a mediocre scoring total. Podziemski was ona five-game streak of double-digit scoring totals, but it was snapped after this result.
Nov 28, 2024
Fills in for Curry with 12 points
Podziemski finished with 12 points (4-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and one block across 30 minutes during Wednesday's 105-101 loss to Oklahoma City.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski stepped into the point guard role with Stephen Curry (knee) absent, but his result fell below his seasonal average. There's no timetable on Curry's return, although the injury isn't considered serious. Podziemski's fantasy impact is limited, and it would take a serious first-unit injury to make his stock rise.
Nov 27, 2024
Starting vs. OKC
Podziemski is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski will get the nod as point guard due to the absence of Stephen Curry (knee). This will be Podziemski's fourth start of the season. He's averaging 14.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 0.7 steals per game in the previous three.
Nov 21, 2024
Not on injury report
Podziemski (nose) is not on the injury report for Friday's game against the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski was hit in the face late in Wednesday's win over the Hawks, but the X-rays were negative. The fact that the second-year guard is not on the injury report suggests he shouldn't have limitations going forward, and that the hit to the nose will end up being nothing more than just a scare. Podziemski is averaging 7.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game this season.
Nov 21, 2024
X-rays negative, DTD
X-rays on Podziemski's nose came back negative after Wednesday's 120-97 win over the Hawks, and coach Steve Kerr said Podziemski is day-to-day, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski was hit in the face late in Wednesday's game, which was particularly concerning because he broke his nose during the preseason. However, Podziemski has avoided another break and doesn't seem to be at risk of a long-term absence. Podziemski finished the contest with three points (1-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and a steal across 15 minutes. His next chance to play will come Friday at New Orleans for the first game of a back-to-back set.
Nov 21, 2024
Exits after being hit in face
Podziemski went back to the locker room during Wednesday's game against the Hawks after being hit in the face, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski suffered a broken nose in the preseason and was forced to wear a mask for several weeks, making Wednesday's incident of concern. Podziemski remained down on the floor for several minutes before getting up and heading back to the locker room. While he's out, Moses Moody, Buddy Hield and Gary Payton could see some extra minutes.
Nov 8, 2024
Will play vs. Cleveland
Podziemski (illness) is available for Friday's game against the Cavaliers, Spencer Davies of SI.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski was among three players who were questionable for Friday, but he'll suit up for this matchup against the undefeated Cavaliers. Podziemski is averaging 9.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game this season.
Nov 8, 2024
Game-time decision Friday
Coach Steve Kerr said that Podziemski (illness), who is questionable for Friday's game against the Cavaliers, will go through warmups before a decision is made on his availability, Sam Gordon of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski is in jeopardy of missing his second straight contest, though his ability to go through warmups successfully will decide his availability. The 21-year-old is expected to be a game-time decision, and his status should be something to monitor ahead of tipoff at 7:30 p.m. ET. If the second-year pro is ruled out, Gary Payton will likely see an increase in playing time.
Nov 7, 2024
Questionable for Friday
Podziemski (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against the Cavaliers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski missed Thursday's game versus Boston due to his illness, but he will likely return soon. However, if he can not play Friday, Buddy Hield and Gary Payton will play extended minutes in his absence.
Nov 6, 2024
Won't play Wednesday
Podziemski (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Celtics, Zack Cox of the Boston Herald reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski left Monday's win over Washington early due to an illness and will miss his first game of the season Wednesday. He should be considered questionable for Friday's game in Cleveland. The Warriors have a 12-man rotation, so Podziemski's missing minutes will likely be distributed to whoever has the hot hand.
Nov 6, 2024
Listed as questionable
Podziemski (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
The Warriors previously removed Podziemski from the injury report, so this is a worrying sign for his fantasy managers. On Monday night against Washington, the guard tried to play through his illness but left the game for good in the third quarter. If Podziemski is unable to play, Moses Moody and Gary Payton would be candidates to see increased run.
Nov 5, 2024
Listed available for Wednesday
Podziemski (illness) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski tried to play through an illness Monday in Washington, but he ended up calling it a night in the third quarter. Before moving to the bench in favor of Stephen Curry (ankle) and Gary Payton on Monday, Podziemski had drawn three straight starts while Curry was sidelined and averaged 14.7 points, 6.0 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 0.7 steals in 36.7 minutes per game. With Curry back, Podziemski likely won't see that type of usage moving forward, but he's a key part of the Warriors' deep and talented backcourt this season.
Nov 4, 2024
Won't return Monday
Podziemski (illness) will not return in Monday's game against the Wizards, https://x.com/DannyEmerman/status/1853614371370414526 reports. He tallied two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 13 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski called out of the game early in the third quarter, and went back to the locker room due to an illness. The 21-year-old has seen an increased role (three starts) this season due to Stephen Curry (ankle) missing time, though Podziemski played 20-plus minutes in all six of his appearances before Monday. His next chance to suit up will come Wednesday against the Celtics.
Nov 4, 2024
Leaves Monday's game
Podziemski (undisclosed) went to the locker room during Monday's game against the Wizards, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
It's unclear what caused Podziemski to leave Monday's game, but he is back in the locker room being evaluated by trainers. Buddy Hield and Jonathan Kuminga should see more playing time while Podziemski is being sidelined.
Nov 4, 2024
Back on bench Monday
Podziemski is not in the Warriors' starting lineup for Monday's game against the Wizards, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski started in each of the Warriors' last three regular-season games, and over that span he averaged 14.7 points, 6.0 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks over 36.7 minutes per game. However, he will be in a reserve role for Monday's game as Golden State inserts Gary Payton into the starting five.
Nov 3, 2024
Posts another modest showing
Podziemski posted 12 points (5-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five rebounds, six assists and one block in 38 minutes before fouling out of Saturday's 127-121 overtime win over the Rockets.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski shouldered a heavy workload in his third straight opportunity with the starting lineup, though it was Golden State's bench who did the majority of the damage on the offensive end. The former first-round pick out of Santa Clara did manage to lead his team with six assists. It's clear that Podziemski isn't the best or even second best scoring option for this team even with Stephen Curry (ankle) out, but he's capable of scoring in double figures and producing for fantasy managers across the board so far this year.
Oct 30, 2024
Posts 19 points with first unit
Podziemski amassed 19 points (8-18 FG, 3-8 3Pt), three rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal in 34 minutes during Tuesday's 124-106 win over the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski served as Stephen Curry's (ankle) replacement during Tuesday's win, and he responded with a well-rounded performance. With Buddy Hield alongside him, the backcourt was on point compared to the Warriors' frontcourt, which relied on the bench to bolster its fortunes. Curry should return soon, but Podziemski is likely to start again if Curry's absence is extended.
Oct 29, 2024
Getting starting nod
Podziemski is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Pelicans, Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski will replace Stephen Curry (ankle) in the starting five Tuesday. Podziemski is averaging 6.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 24.7 minutes across three appearances this season but should see an uptick in playing time now that he is entering the starting lineup.
Oct 24, 2024
Fails to score in victory
Podziemski finished with zero points (0-5 FG, 0-4 3Pt), seven rebounds, four assists and one steal over 25 minutes during Wednesday's 139-104 win over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski was a candidate to start this season after the departure of Klay Thompson but came off the bench in Golden State's regular-season opener. However, the 21-year-old guard's 25 minutes played suggest he will still be heavily featured in the backcourt rotation. Podziemski also posted a team-high plus-34 point differential without scoring.
Oct 19, 2024
Drops 16 off bench Friday
Podziemski scored 16 points (6-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding four rebounds, three steals and two assists in 21 minutes off the bench during Friday's 132-74 preseason rout of the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
While De'Anthony Melton got the start at shooting guard for the Warriors, Podziemski saw just as many minutes and was more productive. The second-year player missed Tuesday's game due to a broken nose, he wore a mask Friday and didn't seem to have any issues. Podziemski will be counted on this season to replace some of the offense lost when Klay Thompson left for Dallas, but it's still not clear if he'll get a chance to start in the backcourt alongside Stephen Curry.
Oct 15, 2024
Expected to play with mask
Podziemski (nose) is still waiting for a mask and won't play in Tuesday's preseason game against the Lakers in Las Vegas, Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
While Podziemski will miss Tuesday's contest, he's expected to be fine and play through a broken nose once he acquires a fitted mask, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic. After a strong rookie season, Podziemski is competing with De'Anthony Melton for the starting spot vacated by Klay Thompson.
Oct 14, 2024
Suffers broken nose
Podziemski suffered a broken nose during Sunday's preseason game against Detroit, Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ANALYSIS
The Warriors originally called this injury a contusion before further evaluation. Podziemski will be fitted for a mask and will be held out of Tuesday's preseason game against the Lakers. It remains to be seen if he'll be ready in time for Friday's preseason contest against the Lakers.
Oct 13, 2024
Won't return Sunday
Podziemski is out for the remainder of Sunday's preseason game against the Pistons due to a nose contusion, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski took an elbow to the face early in the third quarter and will not be able to return. He concludes the contest with 12 points (4-7 FG, 2-2 FT, 2-3 3Pt), four rebounds, four assists and two steals in 19 minutes.
Oct 13, 2024
Heads to locker room Sunday
Podziemski exited Sunday's preseason game against the Pistons and headed for the locker room, Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski took a hard fall early in the third quarter and headed to the locker room shortly thereafter. Buddy Hield and Gary Payton will likely get more run if Podziemski is unable to return.
Oct 11, 2024
Coming off bench Friday
Podziemski will play a reserve role in Friday's preseason tilt against the Kings, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Warriors continue to shuffle their starting lineup around in the third exhibition game of the season. De'Anthony Melton got the first look at shooting guard, Podziemski the second and Moses Moody will get the nod Friday. Podziemski is competing for a starting role in the lineup once the regular-season tips off.
Oct 9, 2024
Part of first unit
Podziemski will start Wednesday's preseason game against the Kings, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski played 19 minutes off the bench during Golden State's preseason opener, but he'll replace De'Anthony Melton at the shooting guard spot Wednesday. The second-year sharpshooter went 1-for-9 from the field in the opener and is competing with Melton for a starting position in the regular season.
Oct 7, 2024
Poor shooting in opener
Podziemski posted four points (1-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five rebounds, four assists and two steals in 19 minutes during Saturday's 91-90 preseason win over the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Given his familiarity with the organization and the upside he showed as a rookie, Podziemski is getting a shot to compete for the starting spot left by Klay Thompson's departure. However, veteran free-agent acquisition De'Anthony Melton got the first crack, with Podziemski and Buddy Hield operating off the bench. Melton's the best defender of the group, which likely gives him the upper hand, especially if Podziemski and Hield aren't lighting it up from deep.
Oct 5, 2024
Not starting in preseason showing
Podziemski is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's preseason game against the Clippers, Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The Warriors have quite a positional battle at the shooting guard position, and while Podziemski could have a shot at playing steady minutes, head coach Steve Kerr has decided to play DeAnthony Melton alongside Stephen Curry in the backcourt. Podzmienski will wait for his opportunity off the bench.
Apr 11, 2024
Won't start Thursday
Updating a previous report, the Warriors announced Podziemski won't start Thursday against the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
The Warriors announced the rookie would be in the starting lineup Thursday, but in the end, he'll coming off the bench and Chris Paul will get the nod alongside Stephen Curry in the backcourt. Podziemski is averaging 9.4 points and 5.5 rebounds per game when deployed off the bench.
Apr 11, 2024
Starting vs. Portland
Podziemski is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Previous reports indicated the rookie would not start Thursday, but he'll end up being part of the starting unit while featuring alongside Stephen Curry in the backcourt. Podziemski has averaged 9.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game when playing in the first unit.
Apr 9, 2024
Heads back to bench Tuesday
Podziemski is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski moves back to his regular bench role since the Warriors will be at full strength, as Andrew Wiggins and Stephen Curry will return to the first unit. Podziemski averages 9.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game when deployed off the bench this season.
Apr 7, 2024
Back in starting lineup
Podziemski will start Sunday's game against the Jazz, Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski will return to the starting five for the first time since Mar. 24 due to Stephen Curry (rest) and Andrew Wiggins (ankle) being out of the lineup. The rookie averaged 5.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 25.8 minutes per game over his previous five starts, but he could be asked to produce more offensively with Curry and Wiggins sidelined.
Apr 6, 2024
Resurfaces with 14 points
Podziemski finished with 14 points (6-11 FG, 2-2 3Pt), four rebounds and five assists in 25 minutes during Friday's 108-106 loss to the Mavericks.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski had been a non-factor offensively of late, averaging just 6.3 points over his previous seven games entering Friday. He was able to get back on track as a scorer against Dallas, and he also chipped in as a passer with five dimes. Despite the effective performance off the bench, it's hard to trust Podziemski on a game-to-game basis in fantasy -- this was just his third double-digit scoring effort over his past 12 contests.
Mar 26, 2024
Retreats to bench
Podziemski isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Heat, John Dickinson of 95.7 The Game San Francisco reports.
ANALYSIS
Klay Thompson will replace Podziemski in the starting five Tuesday. The rookie guard is averaging 12.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.2 steals in 30.8 minutes across his last 10 appearances coming off the bench.
Mar 25, 2024
Usage dwindling
Podziemski recorded seven points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and two rebounds over 19 minutes during Sunday's 114-110 loss to Minnesota.
ANALYSIS
The rookie guard has started five straight games but scored in double digits in only one of them, and his usage has shrunk with the warriors at full strength. Through 10 games in March, Podziemski has averaged 7.9 points, 5.4 boards, 3.5 assists, 1.4 threes and 1.0 steals, numbers that have little fantasy appeal in most formats.
Mar 16, 2024
Returns to starting role
Podziemski is back in the starting lineup to face the Lakers on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski has been moving between the starting lineup and the bench in recent weeks, and he'll move back to the first unit after scoring in double figures off the bench in his last two contests. Podziemski will play alongside Stephen Curry in the backcourt. He's averaging 10.1 points per game when deployed in a starting role.
Mar 12, 2024
Productive off bench
Podziemski closed Monday's 112-102 win over the Spurs with 14 points (5-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 35 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski was moved to the bench in favor of Klay Thompson, but coach Steve Kerr's rotations tend to change quite a lot. Fantasy managers will just be relieved to see that Podziemski's minutes remained high, and he'll continue to see extra usage while Stephen Curry recovers from his ankle issue.
Mar 11, 2024
Shifts to bench
Podziemski will come off the bench Monday against the Spurs, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski will move to a reserve role with Klay Thompson receiving another look with the first unit Monday evening. Podziemski hasn't come off the bench since Feb. 14 when he dropped 25 points in 32 minutes against the Clippers.
Mar 6, 2024
Returns to starting lineup
Podziemski is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Bucks, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski will replace Klay Thompson in the starting five Wednesday after missing the last two games with a knee injury. The rookie guard is averaging 10.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 32.8 minutes across his last 10 starts.
Mar 5, 2024
Cleared for Wednesday
Podziemski (knee) has been removed from the injury report in advance of Wednesday's game against Milwaukee, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski and Andrew Wiggins (personal) are both set to return to action Wednesday, which will bring Golden State's full roster to health for the first time since the end of November. Prior to a two-game absence due to knee soreness, the rookie was averaging 7.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists while shooting 34.1 percent from the field in 29.8 minutes across five starts after the All-Star break.
Mar 3, 2024
Ruled out
Podziemski (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Celtics, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski will miss a second straight game, joining Andrew Wiggins (personal) on the sidelines again. Klay Thompson and Moses Moody should start next to Stephen Curry in the backcourt versus Boston, and the Warriors will need as much production as they can get to match Boston's high-powered offense.
Mar 2, 2024
Listed questionable for Sunday
Podziemski (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Celtics.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski and Stephen Curry are both questionable, so the Warriors' backcourt depth could be tested against the best team in the NBA, especially with Andrew Wiggins (personal) still away from the team. If Podziemski can't suit up again, Klay Thompson, Chris Paul and Gary Payton would be candidates for increased playing time.
Mar 1, 2024
Downgraded to out
Podziemski (knee) won't play in Friday's game versus the Raptors.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski has been downgraded from questionable to out Friday due to right knee soreness. Klay Thompson, Gary Payton and Chris Paul are all candidates to receive increased playing time in the rookie guard's absence. Podziesmki's next chance to suit up is Sunday's matchup with Boston.
Mar 1, 2024
Unlikely to play Friday
Podziemski is listed as doubtful for Friday's game versus the Raptors due to right knee soreness.
ANALYSIS
Podziesmi presumably suffered his injury during Thursday's win overtime win over the Wizards. Klay Thompson will likely replace the rookie guard in the starting lineup if he's ruled out.
Feb 27, 2024
Serviceable effort in win
Podziemski totaled seven points (3-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt), four rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals across 28 minutes during Tuesday's 123-112 win over Washington.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski remained in the starting lineup despite the return of Chris Paul, ending with a serviceable line in 28 minutes. While he should remain a 12-team option moving forward, Paul's return is likely to impact Podziemski's opportunities. Managers should hold for now, with a view to making a decision regarding his future once we have a larger sample size of what the new rotation will look like.
Feb 15, 2024
Rewarded with start
Podziemski is starting Thursday's game against the Jazz, Shayna Rubin of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski put up a career-best 25 points in Wednesday's loss to the Clippers, and he'll draw a start Thursday at shooting guard while Klay Thompson continues to struggle. Podziemski is averaging 12.8 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.0 steals through eight February appearances.
Feb 15, 2024
Posts career-high 25 points
Podziemski chipped in 25 points (9-12 FG, 5-5 3Pt, 2-6 FT), seven rebounds, eight assists and one steal over 32 minutes during Wednesday's 130-125 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski's solid line helped the Warriors with four consecutive shots to begin the game, and he also nailed all five of his three-point attempts. Podziemski got rattled by a flagrant foul from Mason Plumlee in the fourth quarter, and the Warriors' defense pulled a conspicuous disappearing act around the same time. The rookie will be in action over the weekend after earning a spot in the Rising Stars game during the All-Star festivities.
Feb 10, 2024
Returns to bench
Podziemski will come off the bench for Saturday's game against the Suns.
ANALYSIS
This is an expected move with Klay Thompson returning to the lineup after missing Thursday's game against the Pacers due to illness. While filling in for Thompson, Podziemski had nine points, seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one block across 34 minutes.
Feb 8, 2024
Set to start Thursday
Podziemski will start Thursday's game against the Pacers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski will start for the third time in the last six games since Klay Thompson (illness) has been ruled out. Over 12 starts this season, Podziemski has averaged 11.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.4 steals in 31.3 minutes per game.
Feb 7, 2024
Shifts back to bench
Podziemski will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against the 76ers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski drew the spot start Monday due to Andrew Wiggins (ankle) sitting, but he'll return to the second unit for Wednesday's contest. Podziemski has scored in double-figures five consecutive times, a stretch in which he's averaging 12.6 points, 8.4 rebounds and 6.0 assists.
Feb 6, 2024
Double-double in Monday's start
Podziemski amassed 15 points (6-14 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds and three assists in 38 minutes during Monday's 109-98 victory over the Nets.
ANALYSIS
Getting his 12th start of the season with Andrew Wiggins (ankle) sidelined, Podziemski delivered his sixth career double-double and fourth in the last nine games. The rookie has emerged as a key rotation piece for the Warriors after being selected 19th overall in the 2023 Draft, and during that nine-game stretch the Santa Clara product is averaging 12.3 points, 6.9 boards and 4.6 assists while shooting 51.1 percent from the floor.
Feb 5, 2024
Draws spot start
Podziemski is starting Monday's game against the Nets, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski gets the nod at shooting guard due to the absence of Andrew Wiggins (ankle). Klay Thompson will move to small forward as a result of this lineup change.
Feb 4, 2024
Solid support role
Podziemski closed Saturday's 141-134 overtime loss to the Hawks with 15 points (6-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists and one block across 39 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski and Lester Quinones (17 points) played huge roles with Andrew Wiggins (ankle) exiting in the second half, although this duo made Golden State exceptionally small defensively. Nonetheless, Podziemski's rebounding prowess was on display, and his offensive chemistry on the perimeter with Stephen Curry is blossoming into a strong component of Golden State's offense.
Feb 3, 2024
Racks up 14 dimes in win
Podziemski closed with 12 points (5-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, 14 assists, one block and two steals in 34 minutes during Friday's 121-101 victory over the Grizzlies.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski returned to the bench after a spot start in Klay Thompson's absence Tuesday, but that didn't impact his production. In fact, the rookie guard tallied a career-best assist total, doubling his previous high of seven that he notched against Portland on Dec. 23. Podziemski actually played more minutes (34) than Thompson (27) on Friday, and while that isn't likely to become a trend, it's worth noting that the former hasn't played fewer than 25 minutes in a game since mid-December. His production hasn't been consistent enough to make him a must-roster player in standard fantasy leagues, but given Podziemski's performance Friday, he's at least worth keeping an eye on to see if he can start to put together useful stat lines on a consistent basis.
Feb 2, 2024
Back to bench
Podziemski will return to a reserve role in Friday's game against the Grizzlies, John Dickinson of 95.7 The Game San Francisco reports.
ANALYSIS
No surprise here, as Klay Matthews (illness) is good to go. As a result, Podziemski should return to his usual workload off the bench.
Jan 30, 2024
Starting against 76ers
Podziemski will start Tuesday's game against the 76ers.
ANALYSIS
Klay Thompson was a late scratch due to illness. Podziemski has been effective as a starter this season, posting averages of 11.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.6 three-pointers.
Jan 24, 2024
Available Wednesday
Podziemski (illness) will be available to play Wednesday against Atlanta.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski is dealing with a minor illness, but he'll gut it out and suit up for Wednesday's matinee. He should be good for his usual minutes in the mid-20s, but his fantasy upside is diminished in the reserve role.
Jan 23, 2024
Battling illness
Podziemski is questionable for Wednesday's game against Atlanta due to an illness.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski is at risk of missing his first contest since Nov. 28 due to a non-COVID illness. Golden State's backcourt would be slightly shorthanded if the rookie is unable to suit up, as Moses Moody (calf) and Gary Payton (hamstring) are both amid multi-week absences.
Jan 15, 2024
Returns to bench
Podziemski will come off the bench in Monday's game against the Grizzlies, Shayna Rubin of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski started in place of Stephen Curry (rest) against the Bucks, but with Curry's return, Podziemski will revert to his bench role. Podziemski has been very solid in his 10 starts this season, averaging 11.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.7 steals and 0.3 blocks over 30.0 minutes.
Jan 13, 2024
Shines in spot start
Podziemski contributed 23 points (10-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals over 36 minutes during Saturday's 129-118 loss to the Bucks.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski got back on track despite the loss, matching his career-high with 23 points, tallying his third double-double of the season. With the Warriors down on troops, Podziemski moved back into the starting lineup, reminding everyone why he was considered a must-roster player only a couple of weeks ago. If you managed to scoop him up for tonight's game, he is worth holding, just to see if he can regain his momentum over the coming days.
Jan 13, 2024
Joins starting five
Podziemski will start Saturday's game against the Bucks, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Stephen Curry is getting the night off for rest, so Podziemski will join Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Dario Saric and Kevon Looney in the first unit. Podziemski has been in a slump, but he'll likely see a ton of usage Saturday. As a starter this season, the rookie holds averages of 9.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.4 three-pointers.
Jan 13, 2024
Quiet in bench role
Podziemski finished with five points (2-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and four assists across 27 minutes during Friday's 140-131 victory over the Bulls.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski moved back to the bench Friday, serving up another poor performance. He has now scored fewer than six points in three straight games, coming back to earth after establishing himself as a must-roster player only a month ago. His minutes continue to hover around 26 per game, making him hard to trust right now. He is someone who can be rostered in 12-team formats but is almost certainly going to find himself on the chopping block in a lot of leagues.
Jan 12, 2024
Coming off bench
Podziemski will return to a reserve role in Friday's game versus the Bulls, Shayna Rubin of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski replaced Andrew Wiggins as a starter in the previous game, but Wiggins is returning to the starting five in Chicago. The rookie guard has averaged 8.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists across 21.5 minutes in 22 games off the bench this season.
Jan 10, 2024
Moves into starting lineup
Podziemski will move into the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski and Kevon Looney are joining the first unit, while Andrew Wiggins and Trayce Jackson-Davis will slide to the bench. The Warriors making another change is a hardly a surprise, as coach Steve Kerr is trying to shake things up to get his team back on track with a 17-19 record so far. As a starter this season, Podziemski holds averages of 10.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.6 three-pointers.
Jan 6, 2024
Workload set to increase
Podziemski amassed 11 points (4-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-3 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal in 25 minutes during Friday's 113-109 win over the Pistons.
ANALYSIS
Chris Paul's (hand) injury will require Podziemski to take on an increased role in Golden State's backcourt. the 2023 first-round pick will have an excellent chance to prove his worth in the coming weeks, as his court time will likely reach 30 minutes or more with Paul sidelined.
Jan 5, 2024
Provides spark off bench
Podziemski finished Thursday's 130-127 loss to Denver with 13 points (5-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt), two rebounds, five assists and one steal in 28 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Across his three games since being removed from the starting lineup, Podziemski is averaging 12.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals in 28.3 minutes. The rookie guard is shooting an impressive 56.0 percent from the field and 58.3 percent from the free-throw line over that span. Podziemski has shown that he can produce at a consistent rate, whether starting or coming off the bench.
Dec 30, 2023
Moves to bench Saturday
Podziemski won't start Saturday against the Mavericks, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski will move to the bench as head coach Steve Kerr wants to tweak the lineup, playing Stephen Curry, Chris Paul and Klay Thompson from the start all together. Podziemski is averaging 8.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game when playing off the bench this season.
Dec 26, 2023
Jolly performance Monday
Podziemski notched 13 points (4-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and five steals over 34 minutes during Monday's 120-114 loss to the Nuggets.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski tallied a career-high five steals in the loss, scoring double-digits for the seventh time in the past nine games. He has been a top-60 player over the past two weeks, playing exclusively as a starter. The eventual return of Draymond Green (suspension) is going to have an impact, although it would make sense to keep Podziemski in the opening unit given the impact he has had of late. In case anyone is wondering, he is a must-roster player across all formats.
Dec 23, 2023
All-around showing in double-double
Podziemski produced 15 points (7-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt), 10 rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal across 32 minutes during Saturday's 126-106 victory over the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski put forth a balanced performance in Saturday's victory, finishing second on the team in rebounds and assists while tallying a double-double and ending three dimes short of a triple-double. Podziemski, who set a season high in assists, has hauled in 10 or more rebounds in two outings this season.
Dec 23, 2023
Will play Saturday
Podziemski (back) will play in Saturday's game against the Trail Blazers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski was previously carrying a probable tag, but he officially has the green light to play. His workload will be a little safer than usual, as Andrew Wiggins remains out with an illness.
Dec 23, 2023
Likely to play Saturday
Podziemski is listed as probable ahead of Saturday's game against the Trail Blazers due to low back soreness.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski is dealing with a lower back injury he suffered against the Celtics on Dec. 19 but he hasn't been forced to miss any time to this point. The rookie guard is averaging 9.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.8 steals in 29.0 minutes per game over his last five appearances.
Dec 22, 2023
Good to go versus Wizards
Podziemski (back) is available for Friday's game against the Wizards, Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski suffered a back injury Tuesday against the Celtics and was in obvious pain, so it's a relief to see that he's able to play in this one. His workload will be even more secure too, as the Warriors will be without Andrew Wiggins (illness). The rookie guard is averaging 10.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 three-pointers in eight December games.
Dec 21, 2023
Questionable for Friday
Podziemski is questionable for Friday's game against Washington due to low back soreness.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski sustained a back injury during Tuesday's game against the Celtics, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be available Friday. If he's sidelined against Washington, Moses Moody and Andrew Wiggins are candidates to see increased roles.
Dec 19, 2023
Out for remainder of game
Podziemski won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Celtics due to a lower back strain, Kendra Andrews of ESPN.com reports. The rookie guard will finish with the contest five points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist and one steal in 16 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski exited Tuesday's game versus the Celtics with 0:56 remaining in the second quarter after absorbing a hard hit on a boxout. Andrew Wiggins and Moses Moody are candidates to receive extended minutes in his absence. Podziemski's status for Friday's matchup with Washington is uncertain.
Dec 17, 2023
Strong two-effort in win
Podziemski provided 19 points (7-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals across 32 minutes during Saturday's 124-120 victory over Brooklyn.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski rewarded anyone who showed patience, scoring double-digits for the fifth time in the past seven games, adding at least three steals for the second straight contest. Having moved into the starting lineup, it appears as though Podziemski is going to feature prominently moving forward. He has played at least 29 minutes in three straight games and based on what know right now, he should be considered a must-roster player.
Dec 14, 2023
Will start against Clippers
Podziemski will move into the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Clippers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Warriors are shaking things up after a slow start to the season. Podziemski will replace Andrew Wiggins in the starting unit, while Jonathan Kuminga will move into the first unit in place of the suspended Draymond Green. Through four December games, Podziemski averaged 11.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.5 three-pointers in 27.3 minutes.
Dec 13, 2023
Explodes tor first double-double
Podziemski racked up 20 points (9-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 11 rebounds, five assists and one steal in 29 minutes during Tuesday's 119-116 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski has enjoyed a usage increase over the past couple of weeks, and the rookie converted the first double-double of his career in only 29 minutes. The Santa Clara product is buried on the depth chart behind some big names, but consistent production off the bench is sorely needed. His fantasy stock will be on the rise in weeks to come.
Dec 2, 2023
Plays well in 37 minutes
Podziemski chipped in 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal across 37 minutes during Saturday's 113-112 loss to the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski and Moses Moody gave the Warriors a huge lift down the stretch of this game, and coach Steve Kerr was raving about both players in the post-game conference. The Warriors could get Chris Paul (leg) and Andrew Wiggins (finger) back before their next game on Wednesday, but Podziemski has made a strong case for more minutes. In his last two appearances, Podziemski has averaged 12.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 blocks and 2.0 three-pointers.
Dec 1, 2023
Plays 31 minutes
Podziemski provided 13 points (5-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds and two assists in 31 minutes during Thursday's 120-114 win over the Clippers.
ANALYSIS
With Chris Paul (lower leg), Andrew Wiggins (finger) and Gary Payton (calf) all sidelined, Podziemski played 30-plus minutes for the season time in his career. When given extended playing time, the rookie has yet to disappoint, averaging 12.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists when playing at least 23 minutes this season (six times). If the aforementioned trio remains out, Podziemski should continue to handle sizable usage as the leader of the second unit.
Nov 23, 2023
Tallies three steals
Podziemski logged 10 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and three steals in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 123-115 loss to the Suns.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski was held to single-digit scoring totals in his last two appearances, but he saw a slightly larger workload Wednesday after Chris Paul was ejected. Podziemski began the season on the fringes of the Warriors' rotation but has earned more playing time recently, averaging 11.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 26.0 minutes per game over his last five outings.
Nov 15, 2023
Takes hold of rotation spot
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said after Tuesday's 104-101 loss to the Timberwolves that Podziemski will be part of the team's rotation moving forward, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. "He's going to play," Kerr said of the rookie. "He's going to play every night. He's earned that. He was incredible [Tuesday]. He's been great in practice...He's a damn good player, so he's going to play."
ANALYSIS
The rookie first-round pick out of Santa Clara saw action in just five of the Warriors' first 11 games -- mostly in garbage-time scenarios -- but he was pressed into action Tuesday after Stephen Curry (knee) was ruled out ahead of the contest. Klay Thompson and Draymond Green were then ejected for fighting less than two minutes into the game, thrusting Podziemski into an even larger role than anticipated heading into the night. The 20-year-old looked plenty composed in his first extended NBA action, logging a team-high 39 minutes en route to finishing with 23 points (9-18 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and one steal. In the longer term, Podziemski likely won't play anywhere close to 39 minutes or maintain the 23.4 percent usage rate he held Tuesday in games where Curry, Thompson and Green are available, but the rookie's big night at least seems to have earned him a spot on Kerr's second unit. In the shorter term, Podziemski could push for a more sizable role out of the backcourt in Thursda
Nov 15, 2023
Steps in off bench as top scorer
Podziemski accumulated 23 points (9-18 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and one steal over 39 minutes during Tuesday's 104-101 loss to the Timberwolves.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski earned extended playing time after the ejection of Draymond Green and Klay Thompson early in the game, going on to lead all Warriors in scoring and assists while finishing second on the team in rebounds in the defeat. Podziemski set season-high marks in scoring, assists and minutes played while finishing with his second game with seven or more boards this season.
Nov 11, 2023
Back with parent club
Golden State recalled Podziemski from the G League's Santa Cruz Warriors on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski was productive during Santa Cruz's season opener Friday, posting 24 points, seven rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes. He's averaging just 2.5 points and 3.3 rebounds in 10.8 minutes per game with the parent club this year.
Oct 18, 2023
Not starting against Kings
Podziemski is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Kings, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski has appeared in three games for the Warriors during the preseason, and his best effort came when he posted 10 points and 10 assists against the Lakers on Oct. 13. He will come off the bench here since the Warriors will start Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson in the backcocurt.
Oct 14, 2023
Racks up 10 dimes in preseason win
Podziemski contributed 10 points (4-8 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 assists, six rebounds and a blocked shot over 26 minutes against the Lakers in a 129-125 exhibition win Friday.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski struggled from beyond the arc, but that was really the only negative aspect of his performance. The 19th overall pick in the 2023 Draft has looked great over his first two preseason NBA contests, averaging 10.5 points, 7.0 assists and 6.0 rebounds while shooting 47.4 percent from the field. Podziemski may be helping his playing-time outlook with his performance thus far, though it's still hard to see him getting enough minutes to be a viable fantasy asset given the depth of Golden State's backcourt.
Oct 9, 2023
Solid contributor in victory
Podziemski compiled 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt), six rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 26 minutes during Saturday's 125-108 preseason win over the Lakers.
ANALYSIS
Although Podziemski came off the bench during Saturday's preseason opener, he led the Warriors in playing time and put together a well-rounded stat line. He was selected by Golden State with the 19th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft and was productive during Summer League play, but it's unclear how much playing time he'll be able to carve out once the regular season begins.

Flirts with triple-double
Podziemski posted 10 points (3-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 10 assists, nine rebounds and a steal across 33 minutes during Sunday's 94-86 loss to the Pelicans.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski struggled to find his shot, but was impressive distributing the ball and continued to rebound at a high level at the guard position. He has been outshined offensively thus far by Lester Quinones, but he has shown flashes of playmaking and rebounding ability as well as an ability to generate turnovers on the defensive end.

Puts on defensive showcase
Podziemski recorded 17 points (7-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-4 FT), five steals, four rebounds, one assist and one block in 26 minutes during Wednesday's 98-83 Summer League win over the Hornets.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski struggled from the free-throw line Wednesday but had solid overall efficiency. Defense is a concern for the rookie guard at the next level, so his ability to create turnovers at a high rate is a good sign.

Mixed results in pro debut
Podziemski tallied 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and six assists in 30 minutes during Monday's 100-94 Summer League loss to Sacramento.
ANALYSIS
Podziemski was the 19th overall pick in the 2023 Draft, and he figures to garner a major role for Golden State's Summer League squad over the next two weeks. The 6-foot-5 guard is incredibly skilled offensively, but he'll have to prove he can compete defensively if he's going to carve out an NBA role as a rookie.
