Given the uncertainty surrounding head coach Jamahl Mosley's rotation on a nightly basis going forward, fantasy managers in most leagues should still take a wait-and-see approach before adding Anthony off waiver wires, but he's worth a speculative pickup in deep leagues for the time being.

Even as depleted as the Magic are right now, the fact that Anthony doesn't see more minutes off the bench is a testament to how deep he sits in the team's depth chart.

Orlando handled business early on in this contest, allowing Anthony to get some extra run. He made the most of his newfound minutes with a season-high mark of 16 points. Given his minimal role so far this season, fantasy managers will not want to overreact this outlier performance.

Anthony closed with two points (1-4 FG, 0-1 FT), one rebound and two assists in eight minutes during Friday's 120-109 loss to Cleveland.

After being a heavily featured part of Orlando's bench backcourt in the first two games of the season, Anthony has averaged just 6.8 minutes per contest over his last four appearances. Unless Anthony begins to receive more playing time, he is unlikely to garner significant fantasy interest.

He's reached double figures in the scoring column once in his last three outings, despite shooting a solid 45.5 percent from the floor overall. Rather than poor efficiency, a decline in minutes seems to be the biggest culprit for Anthony's drop in scoring -- he's topped out at 20 minutes during that three-game stretch. With Markelle Fultz (knee) seemingly closing in on a return to action, Anthony could struggle to see his role expand from its current level in the Magic's future contests.

Anthony tallied 16 points (6-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six assists and three rebounds over 24 minutes in Friday's 123-91 win over Detroit.

Anthony led all bench players in Friday's game in scoring and assists while posting his third straight game with 16 or more points off the Magic bench. Anthony has tallied at least 15 points in 14 contests this season, adding five or more assists in seven of those outings.

Anthony recorded 20 points (8-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block across 31 minutes during Saturday's 129-101 loss to the Nets.

Anthony has struggled to secure a starting role this season, but there's no reason to move him from his bench role, as he has settled himself as one of the best second-unit scoring weapons in The Association. Anthony has reached the 20-point mark on a semi-regular basis, hitting that threshold five times already, and he's averaging a robust 17.2 points per game off the bench over his last 10 contests.

Anthony ended Wednesday's 139-120 win over the Wizards with 25 points (9-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), six rebounds, five assists and two blocks across 26 minutes.

Anthony has consistently scored in double figures early in the season, but he's reached another level in recent matchups, scoring 20-plus points in three of his last four appearances. He's also been productive in secondary categories during that time and has averaged 22.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 29.0 minutes per game. He's shot 50 percent from the floor during his recent hot stretch, and it wouldn't be surprising to see his scoring results decrease once his shooting percentage regresses to the mean.

Anthony produced 30 points (9-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 11-12 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists, one block and two steals in 32 minutes during Sunday's 130-117 victory over the Hornets.

Anthony set a new season high for points scored, and this was the fifth time in his career he reached at least 30 points. Anthony Black has been starting for Orlando in Markelle Fultz's (knee) place, but Anthony has been far more productive and gets the bulk of the point guard minutes. Over his last six games, Anthony is averaging 17.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.3 three-pointers.

Anthony produced 20 points (6-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT) and five rebounds in 29 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 124-119 win over the Nuggets.

The 20 points tied his season high, set back in Orlando's opener, while Anthony grabbed at least five boards for the sixth straight game. The fourth-year guard is averaging 14.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.5 threes over that stretch as he continues to take advantage of the absence of Markelle Fultz (knee) from the lineup.

Anthony posted 11 points (3-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 37 minutes during Friday's 103-97 victory over Chicago.

On the surface, Anthony's stat line was decent since he ended just two boards and three assists away from recording a triple-double as the Magic topped the Bulls. However, Anthony had another rough shooting performance, something that has been a trend for him of late. He's hitting just 27.9 percent of his shots from the field across his last five appearances.

Anthony produced 16 points (6-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal in 22 minutes during Wednesday's 96-94 win over the Bulls.

Anthony tallied 16 points in the victory Wednesday, an improved performance compared to last week. Despite some inconsistency, Anthony has scored in double digits in all but two games thus far, providing the Magic with a reliable scoring threat off the bench. His overall upside is limited, but even so, he certainly isn't out of place on a 12-team fantasy roster.

Anthony chipped in 10 points (2-10 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds and two assists across 28 minutes during Tuesday's 124-104 loss to the Nets.

Anthony shot the ball poorly once again Tuesday, the third straight game he has shot no better than 20 percent. Despite an ongoing knee concern for Markelle Fultz, Anthony has been unable to make the most of his opportunity. With that said, he should turn it around at some point and make for a worthwhile streaming target when his shot starts to fall.

Anthony provided 19 points (7-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-5 FT), two rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal in 30 minutes during Monday's 117-102 loss to the Mavericks.

Anthony received a starter's workload despite coming off the bench as usual Monday. Although his minutes have fluctuated through Orlando's first seven games, Anthony has hit double-digit scoring in every contest.

Anthony notched 18 points (5-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 31 minutes during Thursday's 115-113 victory over the Jazz.

Markelle Fultz was a late scratch due to left knee swelling, so Gary Harris joined the first unit. However, Harris suffered a groin injury in the first half and didn't return, forcing Joe Ingles to start the second half. While Ingles started, Anthony and Anthony Black were the ones who stepped up their production for the shorthanded Magic. If Fultz and Harris remain sidelined, Anthony may get a look with the first unit moving forward. Even before the injuries, Anthony was impressing off the bench. Across five appearances, he's averaging 15.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.0 steals in 24.4 minutes per game.

Anthony closed with 18 points (6-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-6 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one block over 28 minutes during Friday's 102-97 victory over the Trail Blazers.

Anthony now has two strong games under his belt, but the Magic seem intent on keeping the keys in Markelle Fultz's hands. Although accuracy has been a problem during his career, his numbers in the latter part of last season were trending up, and he's started off the year with a 51.9 percent conversion rate. Fultz and Jalen Suggs will continue to hinder Anthony's fantasy relevancy, but he's only an injury away from a huge usage boost.

Anthony and the Magic agreed to a three-year, $39 million extension just before the start of the regular season, and he celebrated that by leading Orlando in scoring in the season opener despite coming off the bench. Anthony, who ended just two boards shy of a double-double, should be one of the Magic's main bench options going forward.

During the 2022-23 season, Anthony compiled averages of 13.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.3 three-pointers.

Anthony led Orlando's bench in scoring during the preseason opener, but he also took the most shot attempts. The additions of Anthony Black, Joe Ingles and Jett Howard could eat away at Cole's playing time in 2023-24, but for now, it appears he's slated to be the primary backup to Markelle Fultz again.

Anthony is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Heat, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Anthony started for the first time since late October but delivered a solid stat line, ending just one rebound shy of a double-double and putting up solid passing numbers as well. The shooting woes can be concerning, but Anthony tends to produce even when he's having off nights in terms of efficiency. He's now scored in double digits in 13 games in a row, averaging 16.1 points per game in that stretch.

Anthony is starting Friday against the Nets.

The Magic are shorthanded Friday, so Anthony will draw his first start since late October. He didn't play Tuesday against Cleveland but has averaged 16.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 28.6 minutes per game over his last 12 appearances.

Anthony continues to be a reliable sixth man for the Magic, scoring in double digits in 10 straight games. In that stretch, Anthony has averaged 16.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.7 three-pointers while shooting 49 percent from the field. Anthony and the Magic will take on the Pistons on April 2 for their next outing.

Anthony was efficient from the field en route to a team-high 21 points, marking his third 20-plus-point came in March (13 appearances). During that stretch, the third-year guard has averaged 16.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 0.8 steals in 28.7 minutes.

Anthony finished Thursday's 111-106 victory over the Knicks with 18 points (6-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 26 minutes.

Anthony led all bench players in Thursday's game in scoring while finishing with a team-high mark from three and the second-highest point total among Magic players. Anthony has notched at least 15 points and five rebounds in 16 games this season, including in five straight contests. 

Anthony chipped in 18 points (7-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Saturday's 113-108 victory over the Clippers.

Anthony scored double-digits for the fourth straight game, continuing what has been a solid week of production. With Jalen Suggs (concussion) sidelined, Anthony is going to soak up the bulk of the backup minutes behind Markell Fultz and Gary Harris. While his efficiency can sometimes be an issue, Anthony remains a solid addition to any 12-team roster thanks to volume alone.

Anthony produced six points (2-8 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), one rebound and three steals in 22 minutes during Thursday's 131-124 loss to the Jazz.

Gary Harris returned from a two-game absence, forcing Anthony to see his fewest minutes since Feb. 25. He was still heavily involved in the rotation, but Anthony's production was disappointing after he dropped 23 points in Orlando's previous game. With Orlando's backcourt at full strength again, it may be hard for Anthony to garner enough usage to remain relevant in standard leagues.

Anthony recorded 23 points (9-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, three assists and two steals across 33 minutes during Tuesday's 134-123 loss to Milwaukee.

Anthony led the Magic off the bench with a team-high scoring mark, also posting a team-high-tying steal total in Tuesday's loss. Anthony has scored 20 or more points in seven games this year, including in two of his last four outings.

Anthony logged 28 points (10-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-7 FT), seven rebounds and four assists across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 139-117 loss to the Bucks.

Anthony got hot in the second quarter with 11 points on a perfect 4-of-4 shooting from the field, adding three assists. He remained highly efficient after the break, knocking down another four of seven shot attempts for 12 points to finish with a team-high 28 points on the night. It was an impressive performance off the bench for Anthony, who had failed to score in double figures in each of his last two games coming in.

Head coach Jamahl Mosley indicated Wednesday that "everybody's healthy" coming out of the All-Star break and indicated Anthony (wrist) is "okay" ahead of Thursday's game versus the Pistons.

The Magic appear to have an injury-free injury report heading into the second half, and Anthony is set to return from a two-game absence due to some soreness in his shooting wrist prior to the break. He should slot in for a regular bench role again, averaging 12.4 points, 5.0 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks over his final five appearances of the first half.

Anthony (wrist) won't play in Tuesday's game versus the Raptors.

Anthony will miss his second straight game Tuesday due to right wrist soreness. Gary Harris and Caleb Houstan should continue to see increased workloads. Anthony's next chance to suit up comes after the All-Star break on Feb. 23 versus the Pistons.

Since Tuesday marks the second leg of a back-to-back set, the Magic won't hold a morning shootaround prior to their matchup with the Raptors. As a result, Anthony's status may not be clarified one way or the other until the team begins warming up prior to the 7:30 p.m. ET opening tip. After Anthony was a late scratch for Monday's 100-91 win over the Bulls due to the sore right wrist, starting shooting guard Gary Harris saw a mild boost in playing time and rookie Caleb Houstan took Anthony's spot in the rotation and played 13 minutes off the bench.

Anthony played a significant role off the bench Thursday, going 5-of-8 from the field with 10 points in the first half to go along with five dimes and two rebounds. After going scoreless in the third quarter, the point guard came through with another seven points on 3-of-6 shooting in the final period to help Orlando pull off the upset at home. Anthony finished with 17 points, which tied Bol Bol for second on the team, while also leading the contest in assists (seven) and blocks (three). He's now scored 15 or more points in four of his last eight games, shooting 52 percent from the field over that stretch.

Anthony supplied 20 points (6-8 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 6-8 FT), eight rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal in 27 minutes during Friday's 127-120 win over the Timberwolves.

Anthony has scored in double digits in six of his last nine outings off the bench and has reached the 20-point threshold three times in that span, so he's emerging as a reliable contributor off the bench for an Orlando team that needs all the offense they can get on a game-to-game basis. The former North Carolina standout is averaging 12.2 points per game this season while operating mostly on a bench role.

Anthony ended Friday's 110-105 loss to Miami with 19 points (5-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds and one assist across 28 minutes.

Anthony found his rhythm Friday, scoring a team-high 19 points, including four triples. He had been struggling to score the ball prior to this game, frustrating fantasy managers to no end. The Magic are starting to get bodies back on the floor after an injury-riddled start to the season, relegating Anthony to a bench role. While he will be in the rotation on a nightly basis, his playing time is likely to depend on how well he is playing. This in itself makes him a risky player to trust in fantasy leagues.

Anthony logged 18 points (8-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals in 23 minutes off the bench during Monday's 113-98 win over the Celtics.

With the Magic backcourt healthy again, Anthony has had trouble delivering consistent offense. The third-year guard has scored in double digits in only three of 10 games in January, averaging 9.8 points, 4.5 boards and 3.7 assists in 25 minutes a night. Anthony's ceiling still gives him some DFS tournament appeal, but he's otherwise off the fantasy radar in most formats barring another injury to Markelle Fultz or Jalen Suggs.

Anthony notched 22 points (6-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 8-8 FT), three rebounds and four assists over 26 minutes during Friday's 123-110 victory over the Pelicans.

Anthony scored at least 20 points for just the third time all season, playing down the stretch as the coaching staff opted to stay with the hot hand. Prior to Friday, Anthony had scored in double-digits only once in the past nine games. He can have some value as a streaming option, although as we have seen in recent times, he is hard to trust given the fact his role fluctuates from one night to the next.

Anthony accumulated five points (1-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, four assists and one block over 19 minutes during Friday's 112-108 loss to the Jazz.

Anthony was barely visible in the loss, turning in another uninspiring performance. While Markelle Fultz continues to thrive as the starting point guard, Anthony has been unable to build any sort of momentum over the past couple of weeks. During that span, he is outside the top 250 in standard formats. While he should be better than that moving forward, it is hard to see him being anything more than a situational stream option, if and when the Magic are thin in the backcourt.

Anthony racked up 16 points (6-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Saturday's 115-101 win over the Warriors.

Anthony scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half on 5-of-7 shooting from the field, providing the Magic with a much-needed spark off the bench. He added seven boards in the contest, which was second on the team to only Wendell Carter (10), while also dishing out five assists to help the Magic upset Golden State on the road. Anthony knocked down two of four three-point attempts in the contest after going 0-of-13 from beyond the arc over his previous four games and reached the 15-point mark for only the fifth time since the start of December.

Anthony will be suspended for one game for his role in Wednesday's altercation with the Pistons.

Anthony will serve his suspension Friday against Washington along with RJ Hampton and Gary Harris, who were also given single-game suspensions. Markelle Fultz, Franz Wagner and Terrence Ross will take on larger roles in the backcourt Friday. Anthony will be able to play in Wednesday's game against the Thunder.

Anthony ended just one assist away from recording a triple-double, and the talented guard had one of the most efficient performances of his career. He only missed two shots from the field, reached the 20-point mark for the second time this season, and he also posted season-best marks in boards and assists. Anthony has been a consistent performer off the bench for the Magic, scoring in double digits in all but three games this month and averaging 13.0 points per contest in that span.

Anthony couldn't quite figure out his shot from beyond the arc in this one, but he still managed to shoot 53.8 percent from the field. He's secured five or more rebounds in each of his last three contests and is averaging 12.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists through eight matchups in December.

Anthony led the Orlando bench in scoring, assists, rebounds and minutes played in the overtime victory, notching his seventh double digit scoring outing of the season. Anthony has posted at least 10 points, three rebounds and three assists in three of his last four outings.

Anthony notched zero points (0-9 FG, 0-4 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and two steals in 21 minutes during Monday's 109-102 loss to the Bucks.

Anthony suited up for a fourth straight game following a month-long absence due to an oblique injury, but after scoring in double figures during three straight contests, the third-year guard went scoreless across 21 minutes Monday. While the poor shooting performance was a step in the wrong direction, it doesn't appear like he suffered a setback with his injury, so it can likely be chalked up to an off night. Anthony will look to get back on track Wednesday against the Clippers.

Anthony has scored in double digits in his two appearances off the bench this season, but his role is not expected to be altered no matter how well he performs since Markelle Fultz and Franz Wagner are fully entrenched as the backcourt duo while Jalen Suggs (ankle) remains out. Anthony should continue to see decent minutes as a backup, though.

After missing over a month with an oblique injury, Anthony played 24 minutes before fouling out. He was expected to play around 20 minutes but exceeded that total despite the foul trouble. He came off the bench Wednesday but it's probable that he'll make his way back into the starting lineup once he's closer to full strength.

Anthony will be limited to approximately 20 minutes during Wednesday's game against Atlanta, Khobi Price of the Orlando Sentinel reports.

With all of Anthony, Markelle Fultz (toe) and Jalen Suggs (ankle) set to sit out Friday, the Magic will likely turn to Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero to absorb more playmaking responsibilities, while reserve guard R.J. Hampton should benefit from a big boost in playing time.

Anthony helped the Magic jump out to an early lead with eight first-quarter points on 3-of-3 shooting while also knocking down both of his free-throw attempts in the period. He followed that up by going a perfect 3-of-3 from three-point range in the second quarter, two of which came off assists from Terrence Ross, to give Anthony 17 points at the half. Despite the hot start off the bench, the Magic forward only took four shots in the second half, making two of them, while also knocking down three of five free-throw attempts as the Hawks took the lead down the stretch.

Anthony (illness) is active for Friday's matchup with the Hawks but will come off the bench, Jake Chapman reports.

Anthony was a late scratch in the season opener due to a non-Covid illness but will be back in action Friday. Considering he entered the day as a game-time decision and is coming off the bench, it is likely the Magic will monitor his workload. Those numbers figure to gravitate back towards his season averages as the season wears on, even with the increased offensive usage amidst a clearly breakout 2021-22 campaign.

The second-year point guard continues to build a compelling case for the NBA's Most Improved Player Award after clearing 20 points for the eighth time this season while coming away with his third double-double. Not only are Anthony's scoring (20.2 per game) and assists (5.6 per game) up dramatically from his rookie season, but he's done so while displaying more efficiency on the offensive end. Despite a spike in usage, Anthony's 1.8 assist-to-turnover ratio is in line with last season's mark, while his 58.1 True Shooting Percentage is up 8.5 percentage points from 2020-21.

Anthony has scored in double digits in each of his nine appearances this season, but he's been prone to have up-and-down outings when it comes to his efficiency and shooting percentages. Even though he's one of Orlando's most reliable scoring threats, as evidenced by the fact that he's averaging 18.7 points per game so far, he's also shooting just 41.8 percent from the field. He's been effective from deep, though, making 40.3 percent of his treys to date.

Anthony posted 31 points (8-17 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 9-11 FT) nine rebounds, eight assists, two steals and a blocked shot across 38 minutes in Monday's 115-97 win over the Magic.

After falling behind early, Anthony went toff for 14 points in the fourth quarter to put the game away for good. With one of the youngest lineups in the league, the Magic are thriving with Anthony as their floor general. The North Carolina product also came close to his first career triple-double, collecting nine rebounds and eight assists.

Anthony made at least six field goals as he did during the Magic's previous four games. However, his rebound tally was surprising. Anthony remains a young point guard averaging multiple assists (5.3) across the 2021-22 season. Yet, Anthony's 7.4 rebound average is better and indicates how versatile he has been alongside his 17.7 points per game.

Anthony ended Wednesday's loss to the Hornets with 24 points (11-20 FG, 2-7 3Pt), six assists, five rebounds and one steal in 35 minutes.

Anthony recorded his second 20-point performance of the season as well as making an impact with his rebounding and playmaking. The second-year guard has been able to stuff the stat sheets on two occasions this year, however he has been less impressive outside of those games. Apart from his two 20-point performances, Anthony is averaging just 10.7 points while shooting 28.2 percent from the field and 21.1 percent from deep. The youngster has certainly been a boom-or-bust player this season but could be extremely valuable if he improves his offensive consistency.

Anthony produced 12 points (5-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and two steals across 32 minutes in Monday's 107-90 loss to the Heat.

We can safely assume that Anthony's performance on Sunday was an anomaly, but it's an encouraging sign for the youngster, who's been plagued by injury throughout his short career. 2021 could be the year where he puts it all together, and if he stays healthy, the rest of his game looks solid. Although Jalen Suggs appeared to be an initial threat to Anthony's usage, the team seems to be content fielding them together.

Anthony finished Sunday's win over the Knicks with 29 points (9-16 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 16 rebounds, eight assists and one steal.

Coming off of a pair of unremarkable games to begin the season, Anthony spearheaded a late charge to propel the Magic to their first win of the season. Anthony's 16 rebounds were by far a career best (his previous high was nine), while his 29 points were his second-most in any of his 50 career NBA games. As one of several young pieces on a rebuilding team, Anthony's production will fluctuate night to night, but the upside he flashed Sunday will stick in the minds of fantasy managers. For now, his spot in the starting lineup looks to be more solidified than that of rookie Jalen Suggs, who finished Sunday's game with 11 points and four turnovers in 24 minutes.

The 20-year-old has been producing decent points, rebounds, and assists in his first year, but his 39.2 percent field-goal shooting through 45 games will need to improve if he wants to take a step forward next season. The rookie will look to help break the Magic's five-game skid Friday on the road against the 76ers.

Anthony has looked impressive since returning to the starting lineup and while the 26-point performance represents the best game of his young NBA career so far, it's also worth mentioning he has scored at least 15 points in four games in a row for the first time this season. He's averaging 17.1 points, 5.6 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game across his last nine starts.

The Magic looked woeful on offense Friday, as they shot 31.4 percent from the field and 23.1 percent from three-point range as a team, but Anthony was one of the few decent performers. He's scored at least 15 points in six of his last eight starts and hasn't registered fewer than 14 points in that stretch, averaging 16.0 points per game in that eight-game span and serving as one of the Magic's go-to players on offense of late.

Anthony registered 14 points (6-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), three assists, one rebound and one steal in 25 minutes during Thursday's 135-100 loss to the Pelicans.

The 20-year-old has now scored double-digit points in eight of his last nine games, a span in which he's averaging 13.5 points, 5.6 assists and 4.5 assists. Anthony has started the last four games for the Magic and should continue starting as long as Michael Carter-Williams (ankle) is out of the lineup. The rookie will look to extend his stellar play Sunday at home against the Lakers.

Anthony is certainly starting to add an element of consistency to his game as he becomes more familiar with his new role. The common traits of a rookie point guard are certainly going to be present for quite a while but his recent production has been more than encouraging. Aaron Gordon (ankle sprain) left Sunday's game early and if he is forced to miss time, Anthony's role on the offensive end could shift more towards that of a facilitator.

Anthony scored 21 points (8-12 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 1-3 FT) while adding five rebounds and three assists in 31 minutes during Monday's 117-108 win over the Hornets.

The rookie set a new career scoring high while also setting a new personal best in made threes during his brief NBA career. Anthony still has the occasional hiccup but he's been fairly steady lately, averaging 13.3 points, 4.9 boards, 3.4 assists, 2.0 threes and 0.9 steals over the last eight games.

Anthony went for 14 points (6-13 FG, 2-4 3PT), six assists, five rebounds, one steal and one block over 33 minutes in Sunday's 107-104 loss to the Hornets.

In nine games since being inserted into the starting lineup, Anthony has six games scoring 10 or more points while playing an average of 29.3 minutes per game.

Anthony scored 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-3 3Pt) while adding seven rebounds, three assists and a block across 28 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Timberwolves.

Anthony was deadly from beyond the arc, and he drilled the game-winning three at the buzzer that allowed the Magic to steal what seemed to be an unlikely road win given their fourth-quarter comeback. Anthony has taken over the starting role following Markelle Fultz's season-ending knee injury and is averaging 12.1 points and 3.1 assists per game in this last seven contests, all of them as a starter.

Anthony scored 16 points (6-15 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding eight assists, three rebounds, three steals and a block in 29 minutes during Saturday's 122-115 loss to the Nets.

The assists and steals were new personal bests for Anthony while the points tied the rookie's career high. Since being moved into the starting lineup five games ago, the 15th overall pick in the 2020 draft is averaging a respectable 13.2 points, 3.6 assists, 3.2 boards, 1.2 steals and 1.0 threes a game.

Anthony posted 15 points (7-18 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six rebounds and three assists across 27 minutes in Friday's loss to the Celtics.

Anthony has scored in double digits in three of his four games as a starter, but he has been far from impressive -- he is shooting just 35.8 percent from the field and 16.6 percent from three-point range while also posting a 10:13 assist-to-turnover ratio in that four-game stretch. Anthony is likely to remain as the Magic's starting point guard, but he depends on heavy volume to make an impact as a scorer and is not bringing too much to the table aside from that.

Anthony (quadriceps) scored 12 points (4-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and added three rebounds, one assist and one steal in Monday's 121-99 loss to the Bucks.

Anthony injured his quad during Friday's loss but it hasn't stopped him from starting his third consecutive game in the absence of Markelle Fultz (knee) for the season. So far, the rookie out of North Carolina has struggled to find his touch, shooting less 40 percent from the field in nine of 11 games and hasn't made more than one three-pointer in any game.

As advertized, Anthony played fewer than 30 minutes in his first start of the season. He came just one point shy of tying his season high in scoring despite being unable to convert anything from three-point range. The 20-year-old should continue to see plenty of playing time now that Markelle Fultz is done for the season with a torn ACL.

Anthony will start Friday's game against the Rockets but won't play "Markelle Fultz-level minutes," Adam Spolane of Sports Radio 610 Houston reports.

Anthony was apparently struggling with the 32 minutes he received when he took over for Fultz on Wednesday. So he'll start, but he might not see 30-plus minutes. He still makes for an intriguing DFS option, but the risk is higher than previously assumed.

Anthony ended up playing 32 minutes in that game, posting eight points (4-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and one block. The rookie has struggled with his shot this season, hitting 30.3 percent of his looks, but he's both passed (3.4 APG) and rebounded (4.9 RPG) well in his 21.4 minutes. If Anthony can get his shot to connect, he has plenty of fantasy upside this season.

With Evan Fournier (back) forced to leave the game after only three minutes, Anthony found himself thrust into the fire. He came through for anyone that had him active and could be in for an increased role should Fournier or Terrence Ross (calf) miss any further time. Anthony will certainly do your field goal percentage no favors but he is not afraid to let fly and does have some upside in assists.

Anthony had 12 points (3-9 FG, 0-2 3PT, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds and three assists in Sunday's win over the Wizards.

Anthony scored in double-figures for the first time in his career and got to the line six times after not shooting a free throw in his last two games. The North Carolina product has looked promising as a scorer and distributor (14 assists in 55 total minutes) thus far, but he's only averaging 18.3 minutes per game off the bench.

Anthony scored 13 points (4-7 FG, 3-4 3PT, 2-2 FT) to go along with one rebound, two assists and two steals across 20 minutes in Thursday's preseason loss to the Hornets.

Anthony has showed the ability to pile up points in spurts across his last two preseason games. He's shot especially well from from deep, making five of his eight attempts from three-point range. Though Markelle Fultz is locked into starter's minutes at point guard, Anthony should continue to provide scoring punch off the bench during the regular season.

The 15th overall pick in the 2020 Draft was a spark plug off the bench, hitting six of his 10 field goal attempts, including two three-pointers. Fantasy-wise, Anthony is in one of the best situations of any rookie this season.
